The People of the Presence Part 1 By Pastor Shane Vaughn, First Harvest Ministries Praise the Lord! We’ve got a powerful service tonight. The presence of the Lord is truly here. Exodus 16:10 And as Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of the children of Israyl, they looked toward the wilderness, and behold, the glory of Yahweh appeared in a cloud. Did you all know that is our grandparents He’s talking about? Our great, great, great, great, great grandparents. We’re the same congregation. We’re their children. We are the children of Israel. Exodus 24:16 And the glory of Yahweh rested upon Mount Sinai and the cloud covered it six days. And on the Seventh Day Yahweh called to Mosheh out of the midst of the cloud. The Seventh Day, which was the Sabbath, Yahweh called Moses to come to church. Did you hear me? On the SEVENTH Day, Yahweh called Moses to come to church. Six days you’re going to be down there working, but when the Seventh Day gets here you need to come to church. HalleluYah! 17 To the eyes of the children of Israyl, the sight of the glory of Yahweh looked like a consuming fire on top of the mountain. I want to preach tonight a subject that the Lord has truly put on my heart for this evening: The People of the Presence. I want you to say: The PEOPLE Of The PRESENCE. Our forefathers were People of the Presence. They knew the presence of Yahweh. I have had a burden on my heart for a long time, and I’ve not had time to preach on it this year because I’ve been preaching from The Song of Solomon. That has ended, and now I want to give to you the right-now word 1 for not only this local congregation, but for the national one as well. If we do not become people that long for the presence of Yahweh, we will become religious and pharisaical. I’m afraid that we are living in an age where the presence of Yahweh—I’m talking about what we call the august presence of Yahweh—has been missing in the Church for so long, that nobody even misses it. I’m afraid that our people have become so hungry for knowledge that we have traded the presence of Yahweh for the knowledge of Yahweh. I’m not here to preach against knowledge, but I’m here to tell you when all you want to do is know about Yahweh, rather than experiencing Yahweh, you’ve gone to a bad place. There are people in our movement, the Messianic Hebrew Roots movement, that have become such strangers to the moving of Yahweh, that they don’t even know how to respond in the presence of Yahweh. It’s worse than that. They don’t even desire it! They desire to have a Bible study. There’s a time and a place for a Bible study, It’s called Friday evenings at seven o’clock Zoom. There’s a time and a place for Bible study, but in the congregation, that is not where the Bible study happens. That’s where the PRESENCE comes! That is what is missing in some of your hearts: a desire for His Manifest Presence that you can experience. Some of you in here know all about the Sabbath Day. Good for you. But until you’ve experienced the Lord of the Sabbath in your life, in your presence—until He has engulfed you by His Holy Spirit, until you have been baptized in His Spirit—then you have missed out on the purpose of all this knowledge. Amen. I worry about some of you because I see you come, and I love your love of knowledge. I love it. But when it’s time to lay the Book down, and when it’s time to walk into the Glory Cloud, you look lost. Amen. And I want to tell you tonight, if you are not experiencing the Glory Cloud, you’re not the children of Israel. 2 Brother Vaughn, I’m an Israelite. I wear my tallit. I’m an Israelite. My friend, if you are an Israelite, you’ll be well acquainted with the manifest presence of Yahweh. You’ll experience Him in the power of the Holy Ghost. You’ll know what it feels like for your body to tremble in His presence. You’ll know what that fire feels like when it touches your head. If you’ve got a God you can’t feel, you don’t have the God of Israel! YOU MUST EXPERIENCE HIM! You must walk into that Glory Cloud, not even knowing what’s in there, but knowing that something is drawing you to do more than study Him, but to EXPERIENCE Him, to know Him, to feel His hand upon your brow, to know Him in the Power of the Resurrection. I fear that we go from one extreme to the other. We go from super spiritual to super studiers. Then we become such super studiers that we don’t walk through those doors saying, “I wonder what the Lord is going to do tonight.” I wonder who He’s going to heal tonight. I wonder who’s going to have the gift of the Holy Ghost tonight. I wonder what gifts we’re going to see tonight. I wonder what He’s going to say to us tonight. I know that many of you aren’t saying that, because your response to this message shows me that you’re missing a desire for the Presence of Yahweh. Did you know that the Hebrew Roots Church and the Messianic Church, I’m proud to say I’m not part of, are spiritually dead? I’m not Hebrew Roots. They are as dead as a Baptist Church. I’m not Messianic; that’s a mess. No Ma’am. I’m Apostolic from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. I’m like the apostles. They experienced His Presence on the Day of Pentecost. When you go into these Hebrew Roots meetings, they won’t let the Presence of Yahweh in there. They won’t let His Spirit move. We are not those 3 people. Do you hear me? We are not those people! We are baptized in the Holy Ghost! We have experienced the God that we have studied about. We have known His PRESENCE. We have SEEN Him face to face. We KNOW HIM! HalleluYah! Glory! OH, that I may know Him!! I don’t just pull a scripture. Lead me into His Presence! I want you to notice when they saw the glory cloud: when they became the congregation. The purpose of our gatherings is not for study. It is to EXPERIENCE what we’ve studied. We read and studied that He heals all our diseases, but we need to experience that. We’ve learned that He’s a friend like no other. You need to know what that friend feels like. You need to understand what He feels like in your life, and in the congregation. I am determined as your pastor, that never ever will we give up our zeal for the Glory of Yahweh, because when you don’t desire it, it no longer desires you. Amen. I want to talk to you about experiencing Yahweh for yourself. If you have never felt His presence, that is tragic. The saddest thing in the world is to meet Sabbath keepers who have never met the Lord of the Sabbath. Somebody said, “Brother Vaughn, it doesn’t take all of that. It doesn’t take me trembling. It doesn’t take what you all do.” Let me explain something to you. Paul, Saul at that time, was riding down the Damascus road, and he got introduced to the Lord of the Sabbath. He came down and said, “Paul, Paul, why do you persecute Me?” The moment he experienced Christ, the Bible said that he fell back like a dead man. Don’t you ever tell me that falling out isn’t in the Bible! The Bible said that Paul fell off his horse when he experienced Yahweh. The reason you don’t believe in it is that you never experienced Yahweh. You can’t explain this. You have to experience it. You can’t explain it. You’ve got to experience it. I can’t teach you this. You’ve got to walk into that cloud with your eyes closed, and whatever happens in there, stays in there. You’ve got to get in the cloud! The Bible said when the congregation came together, 4 the cloud showed up. If you ever come to church and the cloud didn’t show up, then you didn’t come to church. No, no, no. You need to know who we are. We are People of the Cloud. We are the People of the Presence. HalleluYah! You know, there are many atmospheres that I don’t enjoy. I’m not attracted to certain atmospheres. I don’t like them. There are certain conversations that don’t interest me. If all you want to do is listen to rap music and act like thugs down from the other side of the tracks, I don’t care to be around that. I’m a gentleman, not a thug. I don’t walk around with my pants down my behind. I’m not a thug; I’m a gentleman. There are certain atmospheres I don’t want to be around. I don’t. Atmospheres that do not connect with what is inside of me will not attract me to what’s outside. Your inner man will determine what you’re attracted to. ATMOSPHERE IS EVERYTHING! The atmosphere that I love is the one that I am truly attached to. For me to come and present myself into your world, if you want me to hang out with you, I suggest you create an atmosphere that I can enjoy. You don’t need to be playing little soldier and all that. I’m not going to enjoy that. You don’t need to have a boogie-woogie party. I’m not going to enjoy that. I don’t attach to that. But if you want me to hang around with you, you might want to start talking positively. You might want to start talking about the Word. You might want to start praising the Lord every time you open your mouth. And then, what will begin to happen, is you will create an atmosphere that demands my presence to step into it. Nobody is listening to me tonight! I am telling you that I cannot come into an atmosphere that I don’t belong in. Amen. And I want to teach you tonight that you have to PREPARE for the Presence of Yahweh. If I know you’re coming to my house, I’m going to prepare for your presence. Amen. I’m probably going to light a few candles to make my home feel more comfortable for you. I’m going to make sure that it’s 5 welcoming and inviting. If you’re coming to spend the night, I’m probably going to put a fresh blanket on your bed. I’m not going to let you walk into a bedroom with a mattress with no sheets or no blanket on it. That won’t make you feel welcome. But when we learn to prepare for the Presence of Yahweh, then the Presence of Yahweh will come to us automatically. It will come by accident. It will come by happenstance, when you prepare yourself for the Presence. You must prepare! You must INVITE ME to come. This world has been turned over to Satan. I want you to listen to me. Yahweh gave this world to Satan in the book of Ezekiel. He’s never taken it back yet. That will happen when you come up in the Resurrection. We’ll get it all back to Him. So what does that mean—the atmosphere of this world? Brother Vaughn, why does God allow what He allows in this world: girls to get raped, boys to get molested, and for psych wards to be filled? Why would God allow it? I’m going to explain something to you. Because His Presence is not welcome in this world. He is HOLY. We told Him in the garden, “We’ve got this. We’ll handle this, we’ll take care of this,” so He dismissed His Presence from the earth. Therefore, anything that Yahweh is going to do in your life, can only happen if you welcome Him in. The reason the congregation is so powerful and so special is because it’s a hotspot. In all of Waveland tonight, Yahweh is not welcome. I promise you; He’s not welcome anywhere in this community. But there’s a little hotspot on the corner where we have made a welcome for Him: where we have invited Him; where His Presence is needed, loved, wanted. And now out of all of Waveland, He knows it’s the Sabbath Day, and there’s a group of people that came in and began to do it the way He said to do it. 6 They began to prepare the sanctuary by vacuuming it with their feet. Then they begin to lift up holy hands, and all of a sudden the atmosphere begins to change. All of a sudden, what was once an old building becomes a hotspot. What was once an old building becomes a habitation for the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords! He does not come until there has been a Presence prepared. In order to experience Him, you must make room for Him. We’re living in an age where we have everything in church but the Presence of the Lord. There’s a reason for this. We have lost the understanding that Yahweh wants to do more than you just know about Him. Brother Vaughn, I’m so glad you taught me His Name. Me too. Oh, but if you ever experience the Name! I know you can say Yahweh and Yahshua, and thank God you can; but until you have walked in the front of this congregation, thrown those hands in the air and said, I love You Almighty Yahweh. I magnify Your Holy Name—until then, with eyes closed and hands moving above you in the air, you’ve only learned how to pronounce the Name, but you’ve never EXPERIENCED the BREATH of the NAME! Oh, that you would hear me tonight! You desire knowledge, but nothing else! I’m going to tell all you saints something. You all read more books about Yahweh, than you do standing in His Presence, and it’s not going to work out for you. Oh no! You cannot just take notes. When the worship starts, you’ve got to throw your notebook down. You’ve got to throw your studies down, and you’ve got to step into the cloud!! You’ve got to experience that GLORY that is for the children of Israel. It belongs to you! Do you know the only ones who have ever seen the Glory Cloud? The Children of Israel. No one else has ever seen it. Why? No one else has ever loved it. No one else has ever desired it. No one else ever wanted it. No one 7 else ever longed for it! Until you step into the cloud, you’ve got a bunch of knowledge, but no power. We’re living in a time where you’ve got to get delivered. The Apostle Paul said, “Much learning has made you mad.” In other words, whatever you’ve learned, take it in the cloud with you until you TREMBLE, until you FALL on your Face, until His Glory falls on you, until your body cannot move, until you’re BEHOLDEN to the GLORY of Yahweh!! HalleluYah! HalleluYAH! Yahweh didn’t teach you about this Sabbath for you to know what day it’s on. He taught it to you because it means REST. If you want a rest, you’ve got to go in the CLOUD. You’ve got to get in the cloud and fall on your back, fall on your face, lay down, do whatever you’ve got to do. Fall in the Cloud! Do you know what some people do? They see me coming towards them and they say, “He’s not going to knock me down.” You’re right. You’re right, because you’re not a candidate for what I’ve got. You’re not going to get me! That’s because you can’t get gotten. It’s because you don’t want to get gotten. It’s because you’ve learned so much, but you haven’t learned the basics of it all, which is the PRESENCE of the Lord; knowing the basis of it all: His manifest GLORY! You don’t need to debate and argue over the Scriptures with people. Listen to me. If you’ll get in the Presence of the Lord, I promise you, in one moment, bitterness leaves you. In one moment, unforgiveness leaves you. In one moment, everything that was binding you lets you go in the Presence of the Lord! We need His Presence! We are a people of the Presence of Yahweh! Glory! You’ve got to WANT IT! Then you’ve got to PREPARE for it. 8 You’ve got to know when the Sabbath Day rolls around. Friday morning you’ve got to jump out of bed. It’s almost time! I know we’re going to have a good study, but Yahweh is going to do something! Yahweh is going to take somebody like Brother Larry, and heal the bottom of his feet tonight. Yahweh is going to do something! The God I serve does stuff! Yahweh does stuff! He makes things NEW! He HEALS! He SETS FREE, He DELIVERS, He TURNS IT AROUND! You need to know Him! Glory! What’s Yahweh going to do tonight? I don’t know, but I’m going to find out! HalleluYah! Brother, he can give you a job in the Glory Cloud. You’ve got to jump in that cloud and say, “I don’t understand it all, and I don’t even know what I’m doing, but here I come! I’m jumping in the cloud!” You’ve got to get in the cloud. Yahweh has really challenged me that we can never allow this ministry to go either way. It can’t go all Cloud or all Word. You’ve got to mix the Cloud with the Word. I don’t know about you, but if I’m not seeing miracles, then I can scream that I’m Israel all I want to, but an Israelite sees miracles. An Israelite serves the God of Miracles! If He has not changed, why do you expect any less? We need the Cloud! We need the CLOUD! You have people lying to you, telling you the days of miracles are over. I want to explain something to you. If those days are over, that God is over. When did He ever change? He never did change. When did He ever say, “I’m not like that anymore.”? When did He ever stop showing up? When you stopped making it an atmosphere that He would show up in! HalleluYah! He doesn’t like everybody’s company. If His angels pass by before service time and you are all sitting around talking to each other, that won’t do it. But if He passes by and there is somebody at the altar crying out to Him, He says, “Let Me create a cloud right there. That’s where I’m welcome. That’s where I’m wanted. That’s 9 where I’m desired. That’s where I’m comfortable: in the praises of My people at the altar!” Some of you act like you’re scared to death of the altar. You make clouds at the altar! Do you understand? You stir up dust clouds at the altar. Yahweh hears your cry. The Bible says that the angels of the Lord can’t get around those who fear Yahweh. The Bible also says that they listen to your conversations, and when they hear you praising Yahweh, more angels come. Did you know your Bible said that? Did you know that it’s the angels that bring the Glory? Did you know that they are here tonight to stir up a cloud by your praise? Glory! I’m tired of a cloudless church! We should never gather without a miracle, ever! Brother Vaughn, I’m an Israelite. Take your tallit off if you’re not in the Cloud. Why? Because Yahweh always brought Israel the Cloud. And it always had Fire mixed in with it. Brother Vaughn, I don’t want to go to a church where there is a bunch of fire. Then you don’t want to come to Israel. Everywhere they went, there was a cloud by day and a fire by night. WE ARE PEOPLE OF THE FIRE! HalleluYAH! What has happened to your desire for the Cloud, for the Fire? It’s amazing how Israelites want the Sabbath, they want the Holy Days, they want the Menorah to be lit, and they could care less about the Cloud. They could care less about the Cloud! Let’s hurry along. Let’s get through that part of the service. You don’t understand. You’re missing out on the Cloud!! That is your inheritance! It’s the Glory of Yahweh! Yahweh said, “I want to give you all 10 the Cloud, but I need you to give Me the Atmosphere.” Oh yeah. If you don't have a passion for the Presence; the presence of Yahweh, the Cloud will not come. If you have a passion for the Presence, the Cloud will come. Today is the Sabbath Day Gathering. I want to talk to you about why we’re here tonight. The Sabbath Day gathering is a sacred time with a sacred people, for a sacred experience. The earth has never seen anything like what happens in the sanctity of a Sabbath gathering. Do you know why people have become bored with the Sabbath Day? Because it has become boring. Churches have made it boring: Now read to me what Moses’ prayer was: blah blah blah, sound the little trumpet. Oh, but not in the land of Israel! When the Sabbath came, the Cloud came. I’m telling you that we must have the experience of the Power of Yahweh! We must have it! We must long for it! This world knows nothing about it. We have to create a HOME for His Presence. We have to create it! Brother Vaughn, I want His Presence, but I don’t know what to do. Yes, you do. You’re just too rebellious to do it. HalleluYah! You know what to do. You’ve got to abandon yourself. You’ve got to look like a fool. You’ve got to lay your pride on the altar. You’ve got to lay what you look like on the side, and jump in! You’ve got to jump in! You’ve got to JUMP INTO THE CLOUD! I can’t tell you what’s going to happen when you get in there, but you need to get in there! Glory! Somebody say, TOTAL ADORATION. That’s what brings the Cloud. I don’t know about you, but you may have heard people say, Don’t go where you’re tolerated; go where you’re celebrated. Listen to me. Yahweh will never go where He is tolerated. Never. He will only go where He is celebrated, where He is welcome, where you have called on Him, where you have obeyed Him and created a space for Him! And now you might know why I fight so hard to get you to celebrate. You 11 think it’s because I like seeing you dance? Some of you can’t dance. HalleluYah. But I want to get you in a celebration of why we are here. We are in a celebration because our God is above all other gods. He is good. His mercy is everlasting. It’s new every morning, and when I walk into this place I want Him to know that even over at the Knock Knock where they’re not welcoming Him, and even though He’s not welcome over there, IN HERE, there is a celebration of the Goodness of the Lord! He is welcome in this building and in this House. Some of the earliest memories of my childhood were of the Presence of the Lord. I want to tell you all something tonight. Don’t ever feel sorry for how strict I grew up. Don’t ever feel sorry for that, please. I grew up in a church called Pleasant Hill. You all went to it for my grandmother’s funeral. That’s the church I grew up in. All I remember is that there was such an expectation on Sunday afternoon. We didn’t let the Glory come Sunday morning. We just let the man teach, and we went back home. We would eat lunch, and it was always pot roast. Then we’d take a quick nap because we knew that God was going to do something tonight! We knew God was going to show up tonight! We fell in love with the Presence. We didn’t just go to church. We went looking for the CLOUD! As a little boy, I remember we would walk in the church. Church started at six, but at five o’clock we would come. We had two rooms in the front of the church. If you had walked in the sanctuary there would have been nobody in there. Do you know why? Men were on the right, and women were on the left. But when you walked in the doors, you heard this sound: Ohhhhhh Lord!! Ohhhhh, we magnify You! Ohhhh Lord, have Your Way here tonight! Show up tonight in a mighty way! We need You tonight Lord! That’s all we heard. That sound is gone. And you wondered what happened to the Cloud. 12 Before you all came here and I could control the sound, I controlled everything. They say I still am in control; I’m a cult leader, but I controlled everything. Back then I used to have this auditorium set with lights down low before church, and worship music playing. You didn’t come in here talking. No, not the way I used to do it. I quit doing it, but I used to have it so you’d walk in and hear the worship music. You didn't say, How are you doing? How are you doing? You might have said, I’ll see you in the Cloud in a minute. You came down to the altar and began to cry out to the Lord, We need You tonight Lord! You Must have a passion for it! I promise you, dancing will not do what prayer will do. Dancing will not do what crying out to the Lord will do. I love dancing, and we need it, but more than that, we need to come in here creating an atmosphere crying out to the Lord saying, We need You here tonight. You’re welcome here tonight. We need a move of the Holy Ghost tonight! Those are the sounds I grew up with. I will never forget that there was no telling what would happen. They’d get to singing a song, and they didn’t have all the fancy stuff we have now. They’d start singing: Some glad morning, we shall see Jesus in the air; Coming after you and me; joy is ours to share. What rejoicing there will be when the saints shall rise; Headed for that Jubilee yonder in the sky. By the time we got to the chorus, the people started thinking about that. They began thinking about that Jubilee, and they began to celebrate it. Then the Power of God would fall!! Brother Vaughn, I don’t think I’d ever act like they did. I’m not going to get up there and jerk and jump. I know you won’t. That’s why it won’t ever happen to you. The only way it won’t happen to you is if you won’t get in that Cloud, but if you get into that 13 Cloud, it will happen. I grew up hearing these sounds. They’re gone today. That’s why we come into these mega-churches and they have to have smoke, and they have to have all of that because they want the people to forget there’s no Cloud there, so they try and create clouds. If you desire Truth without desiring Spirit, it won’t be long before you’ll be a Pharisee. You need both. Yahweh dealt with me today. He said, “My people don’t even want My Cloud. They don’t desire it.” Then Yahweh said, “Tell My people to begin to prepare Me a place.” The Lord spoke to me about why He’s taken so many people out of here: so the first thing we can have is UNITY so He can prepare a place for the Cloud. Yahweh will not settle upon a church that is not in unity; a church that is not there for the same purpose and the same reason. You MUST have the Cloud! My little grandma, I miss her so much, and I’ll never forget when I’d be standing in the service on Sunday night. You wouldn't have liked my grandma because she couldn’t care less if you liked her or not. You wouldn’t have liked her, because if she looked across the audience and you weren’t getting in the Cloud, I’ll tell you what would happen. She’d come and take her little skirt up and hold it, and come down the stairs, and she’d take your hand and lift it up high and jiggle it up and down and go, Whoooooo! She would do that until you got in the Cloud. She would do that because sometimes you need help getting in the Cloud. We had some folks who wouldn’t come to church because they knew she was going to get them. But they didn’t need to be there, because all they were doing was messing everything up. Do you understand? Yahweh needs a Unified Church that is hungry for the same thing. HalleluYah! If you want to understand the Cloud, you’ve got to understand the Third Temple. Turn to Malachi chapter three. Pastor, I’m not emotional like you are. 14 You’re a liar. Find me a hammer or something. Who is not emotional? Okay, if you’re not emotional come put your hand right here on the altar (motioning under his hand that is holding a hammer). You’re not emotional? (the hammer descends swiftly and hard)! Now, what’s the first thing you’re going to do? See? You’re emotional when you want to be emotional. You respond to what’s attractive to you. You respond to what you identify with. Everybody in this room is emotional, but you’re just emotional to different things. When you get emotional to the Presence of Yahweh, and His Spirit comes down and touches you, let me tell you, you’ve never been touched if you’ve never responded emotionally. His Presence is so strong. His Presence is so powerful that no man can withstand it. But I want to show you something. What’s so special about tonight? It’s the Sabbath. I’m going to teach you something right now. If you waste one service of these meetings without getting in the Cloud, you should be ashamed, and I’m going to tell you why. Because it is only in the Temple where the Glory has ever appeared. You must get in the Third Temple for the Cloud to show up. Read. Malachi 3:1 Behold, I will send My messenger and he will prepare the way before Me. Then suddenly He will come to His temple, the Ruler Whom you are seeking: the Messenger of the Covenant, in Whom you delight. Behold, He comes! says Yahweh of hosts. Where does Yahweh go? To His Temple. Listen to me carefully. He does not go to individuals. He goes to the congregation. He will hear your prayer, and He will love you, but His Glory Cloud will only come when the congregation is assembled. I’m going to prove it. Malachi just said, “I’m going to send my messenger to prepare the atmosphere; the way, and then suddenly I will come to My temple.” You are not the temple. I am not the temple. But you are a living stone of that 15 temple, and when this stone connects with this stone, two or three are gathered in My Name. There will I be in the midst of them! That’s why Satan gets you to stay home and have home-church. That’s why he keeps you out of the congregation. I want to promise you something. You can get more miracles in the temple than you’ll ever get on your own. There is something that happens in the temple, in the CONGREGATION, that you cannot create on your own! You can be by yourself all day and can’t get a miracle. Let three or four of us come together and we’ll get a miracle! Why? The Cloud shows up when the people are in Unity and when the TEMPLE is assembled together. That’s why we come together on Shabbat. That’s why when you hear me on the platform saying, “Yahweh wants to heal this right now,” that’s why you have to move in that moment. Why? Because the Cloud has come. The water has been troubled in that moment, and it will not work after that moment. When I laid hands on you tonight brother, it was unlike any other time I would have laid hands on you, because I felt the Cloud push me to pray for you. There’s something that happens in the Temple that happens nowhere else! This is a walk of the Temple. This is the body! We have to walk together or we will not walk at all! HalleluYah. The congregation is where it happens. Why do you think Covid was determined to shut our congregations down? Congregations are where it happens! Do you know when you go to the Feast of Tabernacles why there is so much glory power? Because there is so much Temple. There is so much Temple there. You go to camp meetings. Why? So much of the Temple has assembled. Brother Vaughn, Isn’t the Presence of the Lord everywhere? Let me explain that to you. His general presence is everywhere, but not His MANIFEST Presence. I’ll explain it. When I’m standing in this room right now, my presence is here, but my general presence is not helping you. If 16 you come get in my face and say, “Pastor I need this and I need that,” now you’re in my manifest presence. Now it’s benefiting you. Now, even though My Presence is benefiting the whole earth, now My attention is not on the whole earth. You have to gain the Manifest Presence of Yahweh. You have to gain His attention. When you pray, you’re getting His attention. When you’re dancing and in worship, you’re getting His attention. You’re getting the attention of the Manifest Presence of Yahweh. You’ve got to have it! I want to show you about this Glory. I want to show you some things about the gGory. Do any of you in this room desire the Glory of the Lord? HalleluYah! Let’s read a few things about the Glory. Genesis 3:8 Then, on that day they heard the way of Father Yahweh according to the word of Yahweh; The Law and the Prophets, being proclaimed in the garden. So Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of Yahweh among the trees of the garden. I want you to hear me. The Presence ALWAYS finds the people who love it. Adam and Eve at one time loved the Presence, and as long as they loved it, it came. But the moment they counted it as nothing, it never came again. The Presence has to come to you. It comes where it’s attracted. In an evil world when one sister tells another sister how good the Lord has been to you, it attracts the Presence. The angels hear it and come rushing to the voice of the Glory of Yahweh. I want to show you something in Genesis 4:16 about the Presence of the Lord. Genesis 4:16 Then Cain went out from the presence of Yahweh and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden. 17 Cain did what? He went out from the Presence of Yahweh. You can leave the Presence. When do you leave the Presence? When you no longer have passion for the Presence. I want you to see what the Presence of the Lord is like in Exodus 33:14-15. Exodus 33:14-15. Yahweh replied: My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest. What does that mean? The Manifest Presence is not everywhere. It has to go with you. It’s not wherever you go. It’s wherever you take it. It has to go with you. It’s not going to be there just because you show up there. It’s going to be there because you love it. It goes with you. But this was the congregation. It was not following one man; it was following the congregation. There’s times when the Gifts of the Spirit work in my life to call people out and tell them things. Do you know the only place that works? In the congregation. Why? There’s something in that Cloud that the world knows nothing about. 15 Then Mosheh said to Him; If Your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. This is saying: If Your Presence isn’t going to show up, I don’t even want to have church; because I want Your Presence.” I want you to turn to Leviticus. I want to show you what you need to know about the Presence. It comes to those who love it. Leviticus 22:3 Say to them; Whoever of all your descendents throughout your generations, who goes near the holy things which the children of Israyl consecrate and sanctify to Yahweh, while he is ceremonially unclean, that person shall be cut off from My Presence. I am Yahweh. 18 You’ll be cut off from His Presence when you don’t love holy things. That’s what He just told him: If you don’t love holy things, you’ll be cut off from the Cloud. Brother Vaughn, what do you mean by holy things? The Sabbath day is holy. The tithe is holy. The people are holy. The man of Yahweh is holy. We must learn to love holy things, and then you’ll get a holy cloud when you love holy things. What you love comes to you. Let’s read again in Numbers. Let me show you what happens when the Glory shows up. Numbers 20:6-7 Mosheh and Aaron went from the presence of the congregation, to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, and they fell downward on their faces, and the glory of Yahweh appeared to them. Once again, it’s the congregation. And what did they do? Did they just stand there? No. They fell on their FACES. When was the last time you fell on your face? Listen to me. The Glory of Yahweh does not come to a people who are not on their faces. When we begin to worship, that is not a time just for you to receive. That is a time for you to give. You get on your face before Yahweh. That’s what your forefathers did. They got on their faces. 7 Yahweh said to Mosheh: Did you hear that? When the Glory comes, prophecy comes. Did you hear that? You’ll hear the VOICE of Yahweh when the Glory comes. Did you hear me? Brother Vaughn, I want to hear from the Lord. It only comes out of the Cloud. Do you know why there are some folks I don’t lay hands on? I can see you’re not in the Cloud. When I see somebody 19 in the Cloud, I run to them like a magnet because I want my little lightning rod to touch their Cloud. Because they’re in the Cloud, I see where they are. That’s why some of you, I’ll come in your ear like I did that night, Sister Pat when I said, “I see a young lady with a dark complexion,” and the Lord began to speak to you because you were in the Cloud that night. Whenever you get in the Cloud and I get in the Cloud, you’re always going to get the voice of Yahweh always in the Cloud. The Lord will begin to speak to you because you were in the Cloud that night. Whenever you get in the Cloud and I get in the Cloud, you’re always going to get the voice of Yahweh. Always. I was in the Cloud the other night and I heard the voice of the Lord tell me to send money to a missionary that was ill. I wasn’t thinking about that missionary. It was the last thing on my mind; especially $2,500. In the Cloud the Lord said, “Send it to her tonight.” I came to find out that evening she had been praying for an emergency. Listen to me. When you get in the Cloud, you’ll hear the voice of Yahweh EVERY TIME!! You’ll never not hear His Voice! There’s been times when Sister Kendrick has come to me, very few times, but I know when she’s heard from the Cloud. Sometimes she’ll pull me off to the side and say, “I was praying. Be careful of this sister in the church, or this brother. Something’s not right.” I hadn’t even heard that yet, but she heard it in the Cloud. Why? Because she lives in the Cloud. If you want to hear the voice of Yahweh, you will not hear it talking to your friends. You can only hear it in the Cloud. You’ll only hear it when you get in that intimate Presence of Yahweh. There’s so much more I want to read, but I don’t have time so I’ll end it with the book of I Kings, and then Job. I want to show you what happens when the Glory comes. I Kings 8:6-11 Then the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of Yahweh to its place: into the inner sanctuary of the House, into the Most Holy Place, under the wings of the cherubim. 20 It always starts with the ministry. If the ministry doesn’t desire the Cloud, here’s what the ministry will do: they’ll walk in the door, they’ll come to their seat, they’ll let one sister sing a song. They’ll let another sister sing a song, they’ll take up the offering, and then they’ll preach to you how to live your best life now. It’s the ministry that leads the people into the Cloud. That’s why when I come in here, because I’m a big old fella, it’s not easy for me to dance. It used to be, but it’s not anymore. But I’ve never ever not danced before the Lord, because it’s up to the ministry to bring in Cloud. It starts with the man of Yahweh. I’m going to say to you this: If you had any love of Yahweh, you would thank Him every day for a pastor that will not let you be comfortable in church. HalleluYah. Do you know how many times I don’t want to push you all, but I understand and know if I don’t, we’re going to have another wasted service. We would all get together and look at one another and not have miracles, we won’t have any signs, no wonders; we won’t have anybody getting touched. We’ve got to work in the Spirit together! 7 The cherubim spread their wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubim overshadowed the ark and its poles. 8 These poles were so long that their ends could be seen from the Holy Place, in front of the Most Holy Place; but they could not be seen from outside the Holy Place. They are there to this day. Do you know what they’re doing in these verses that make no sense to you? Preparing for the Presence. They’re doing it to the T. They had instructions on how to take the poles out. We live in a church world where they don’t believe in a God of instruction. Come to church how you want to, go to the church of your choice. 21 God Help You if you do! These priests are doing things exactly the way Yahweh said to. I want you to hear me tonight. If you would ever prepare the Presence exactly like He said to do it, He’ll never not show up! Ever! I give you my word. 9 There was nothing in the ark except the two tablets of stone, Hold on now. I want to show you something. The Ark of the Covenant originally had three things in it: the original engraved tablets of the Ten Commandments, Aaron’s rod that budded, and the golden pot that had manna. They had just gotten the Ark of the Covenant back from the Philistines. The Philistines had taken two things out. They took the bowl of manna because it represented the Power of Yahweh. They took Aaron’s rod out because it represented the Blessings of Yahweh. They didn’t want the Covenant. They didn’t want the covenant, so they did just like your church did. They just wanted the power and the blessings, but they left the covenant. When they brought the Ark of the Covenant back, they looked in it and there was nothing in it now except what matters. When you are a People of the Covenant, you’ll be a People of the Cloud every time. Every single time. Read. which Mosheh placed there at Horeb, when Yahweh made a covenant with the children of Israel after they came out of Egypt. Now listen. They have prepared the Presence. They have the covenant which is the Sabbath Day. And they’ve got the preachers who are doing it by the Book. I want you to read to me what happens when you prepare the Presence. 10 When the priests came out of the Holy Place, the cloud filled The House of Yahweh. 22 When they came out before the congregation, the Cloud filled the House. Brother Vaughn, what happened? I’ll tell you what didn’t happen. They didn’t stand there. Read what happened when the Cloud filled the House of the Lord. 11 The priest could not perform their ministering, because of the cloud, because the glory of Yahweh filled The House of Yahweh. They were all falling out in the Spirit! Nobody could even stand up on their feet! Nobody could stand in the Presence of the Lord. They were hitting the floor like cockroaches; falling all over the church. But all you Israelites don’t believe in that. That is Israel. They were falling out in the Spirit. They were like drunk men. The Bible said they couldn’t even get up. The Glory of Yahweh FILLED the House. You hear me. When that Glory of Yahweh comes in, you will act like you have no sense. I promise you. Brother Vaughn, I’m not going to act like that. I know you won’t. That’s why you’ll never experience Him. I’m going to be in control of myself. I know you are. That’s why you’ll never get in the Cloud. Here’s my question to you tallit wearing Israelites: When was the last time you couldn’t stand up in the temple? Hypocrites! Some of you are so busy studying the Hebrew language that you don’t even know how to study the Presence of Yahweh. I’m not against Hebrew. I’m against not getting in the Presence. HalleluYah! Pastor Vaughn, how do we prepare for the Presence? 23 I thought you’d never ask. Turn to Psalm 150. Brother Vaughn, I want to be like those priests that prepare for the Presence. No you don’t, because I’m getting ready to show you how you’ve got to do it. Every one of you are the priests of Yahweh are you not? Do you know that every time you walk into the sanctuary you have a duty to prepare the Presence? If you go into any church that doesn’t prepare the Presence according to Psalm 150, there will be no Cloud. There might be a bunch of hocus pocus, but there will be no Cloud. Let’s find out if you are preparing the Presence. Psalm 150:1 HalleluYahweh! Praise our Father Yahweh! Praise Yahweh in His sanctuary! Praise Yahweh in His mighty heavens! Where does He want you to praise Him? In the congregation. 2 Praise Yahweh, for His mighty acts! Praise Yahweh, according to His excellent greatness! You don’t come in saying, “I lost my job and my dog has the mange.” There are some church folk that I’m scared to talk to before church. Their husband has left them for another man or woman or whatever. Everything is wrong. They don’t know how they’re going to make it, But I reckon I’m going to get ready to praise the Lord a little bit. Praise Him for His GOODNESS! Praise Him because no matter what is going on, He’s still good! That’s how you prepare for the Presence. When you walk through those doors, say: He woke me up this morning, and He’s started me on my way. He’s been good to me. I don’t have a job, and I’ve still got food! I don’t have anything, but the righteous I’ve never seen them forsaken nor their seed begging for bread. Prepare the Presence coming in. 24 I don’t think anybody in this church really likes me; c’mon, we’ve got to go have church. Pastor talked to everybody but me last Friday night. How are you doing brother? My truck blew up and my wife is acting like herself. All that is two minutes before church starts, right? Prepare the Presence! You may have just gotten the worst phone call of your life, but when you walk through that door: The Lord He is GOOD and His mercy endureth FOREVER! Blessed be the Name of the Lord! If you prepare the Presence, you’ll see the Cloud! I give you my word. Continue to read how to prepare the Presence. Praise Him according to His Excellent GREATNESS, not according to the job you just lost. Don’t praise Him according to what your daughter is doing or not doing. It’s all about HIM when you come into His House. When you come into that sanctuary, unless He’s done you anything but good, praise Him! If He’s been good to you, you let it be known! In The House of the Lord, He is GOOD. Instead of telling people you don’t have any money, tell them, “I don’t have any money, but I haven’t gone hungry one time. Yahweh is so good.” How do we prepare for the Presence? Keep reading. 3 Praise Yahweh, with the sound of the ram’s horn shofar! Praise Yahweh, with the lyre and the harp! Praise Him with the shofar! He loves the shofar! The piano is the modern version of the lyre and the harp. He said, “Get on that. Get on it!” Why do you think I go play, and play it so loud? Because I’m running devils out; I’m saying, “The Lord is good!” That’s how I praise Him the way He said to do 25 it. He said to praise Him on the lyre and the harp, which is the string instrument. Read. 4 Praise Yahweh, with the timbrel and dance! Praise Yahweh, with stringed instruments and flutes. Praise Him with the tambourines and with the what? DANCE! If your church doesn’t dance, they have never prepared the Presence. It’s right there. If you don’t dance, you have rebelled. He didn’t tell you that you could come into His Presence your way. You come Yah’s way, and it’s written right there how you are to come. Brother Vaughn, I’ll dance when I feel like it. You’re a rebellious devil! We don’t need you here. I don’t want you in here if you’re not going to flow with us together into the Presence of the Lord. Why? We’re looking for the Cloud. We want the Cloud more than anything else. We must have this Cloud. That’s how you prepare the Presence—with dancing. If you ever get tired of dancing, do it anyhow. On the way to church: I know he’s going to make me dance. Can we run twenty minutes late so we don’t have to dance? If you want a blessing, get in the Cloud with us. Find somebody's hand and say, “Will you dance with me? I want to do it His way!” What else did He say to do? Praise Yahweh, with stringed instruments and flutes! I do, I do, I DO. Yahweh loves an organ. Did you know that? There it is in the Bible that He loves an organ. Oh Brother Vaughn, I think He likes the quiet Baptist organ kind of music. Let’s find out. 26 5 Praise Yahweh, with loud cymbals! Yahweh isn’t deaf. He isn’t nervous either. I have some folks sitting here reading it out of their Bibles and saying, “I don’t believe that.” Yahweh likes it LOUD. If you have a problem with loud, go rewrite that verse. Do you know why He wants it loud? Because the world is loud. In your mind, the world is loud. Sometimes you’ve got to get louder than loud. Sometimes you’ve got to get louder than the lies. You’ve got to get louder than your depression. You’ve got to get louder than your discouragement. Sometimes you’ve just got to get louder than loud! HalleluYah! Do you know why I’m so tough on these sound men? Sound is important. Mother Heflin taught us that if the sound is not right, the people will get distracted and you will miss out on a sending of the mountain. You go all the way back down to where you started, and you don’t get in the Cloud. Mother Heflin would not let us change the tune of the music or the beat. Why? She didn’t want anybody to take a break. She wanted to keep climbing; keep climbing until you get there. Keep climbing to get in the Cloud. The Cloud is on top of Mt. Zion! Keep climbing! Let’s finish up with that. Praise Yahweh, with high sounding cymbals! Amen. Let’s close out in Job 36:27. Brother Vaughn, how do we create the Cloud? I’m getting ready to teach you. What I am getting ready to teach you right now is a lesson you never need to forget. CLOUDS DON’T CREATE THEMSELVES Brother Vaughn, we want God to come in the Cloud. 27 He can’t do it. He doesn’t create the Cloud. I’m going to prove it to you. Read Job. Iyyob 36:27-28 He draws up drops of water, which distill as the mist from rain, 28 Which drops down from the clouds, and pours abundantly on man. The clouds send down rain according to the what? Clouds are created from what? Vapor? And the rain that falls is not dependent upon the cloud? It’s dependent upon the vapor that goes up and forms the cloud. Nobody is hearing what I’m trying to tell you right now. Rain falls according to the vapor that it gets from the earth. I’m going to prove it to you. Everybody always says, “God sent a flood in the days of Noah.” No, Yahweh didn’t send a flood. Go read your Bible. The Bible said that the fountains of the deep came forth from the flesh, or the dirt, and when that water began to come from under the ground, vapor began to go up from that water and clouds began to form, and then the rain began to fall. I want you to hear me tonight. Yahweh doesn’t create the Cloud. We create the Cloud, and the rain falls according to the vapor that comes from us! Yahweh said, “Do you want another flood? Do you want Me to send a flood of My Spirit?” When you received the Holy Spirit, the Bible said, a river was put in your belly. That’s the fountains of the deep. I need somebody to hear me now. One day you will realize that what you’re looking for is not out there. It’s in here, in your belly, and you’ll open your mouth and let it out. Yahweh will send the Cloud. Yahweh will send the CLOUD! I want you to hear me. You know what you’re doing when you dance don’t you? You’re stirring things up. Listen to me. Inside your belly, in your innermost being there is a praise, and that praise says, I know life is hard, but Yahweh is good. The moment Yahweh is good comes out of your mouth, that’s the fountains of the deep breaking forth. The moment you 28 say, I don’t have any money but I am so blessed, you just released some vapor. When the congregation comes together and your vapor mixes with your vapor, and yours with yours, before you know it, the river is going UP. When the river goes up, clouds begin to form, and the Glory Cloud is CREATED among the Praises of His people! You must become the River that the Cloud is formed from! You’ve assembled on the Sabbath Day, but locked inside you—do you hear that right there—is the RIVER. When you sing HalleluYah, that’s the RIVER! It won’t take long now. You’ve been so good to me! You’re so wonderful! You’re so glorious! You’re so marvelous! All over the building, get your hands in the air. Let the river come out of your mouths all over the sanctuary. Everybody, use your vocal chords right now. Begin to release the River of Yahweh. Begin to release the River in this atmosphere! Let it out of your innermost being. I need the rest of you to get involved. Create some clouds! CREATE SOME CLOUDS! Everyone, come forward. Dim these lights. Create the Cloud in this building. CREATE THE CLOUD! Create the Cloud in this building! Let it flow forth from your innermost being. Get your mouths open. Create that Cloud, everyone of you right now! C’mon saints, C’mon saints! Just let the River FLOW. Let the River flow out of you tonight! BECOME PEOPLE OF THE PRESENCE! Let the river flow out of you! Participate! Lift your voices all over this assembly. Let the river come out of you! Let the river come out of you. Let the cloud form. Let the cloud form! Create that cloud. Everybody, participate! Everybody lift your voices all over this room tonight! I want everybody in here to lift your voices. Let that river flow out of your vocal chords! Let that river form clouds tonight. Create a CLOUD! Oh, let the river flow. Let the river flow. Oh, let the river flow. Oh, let the river flow, let the river flow. Holy Spirit, come. Move in power, and let the river flow. Oh, let the river flow. 29 Oh, let the river flow. Let the river flow. Holy Spirit, come; move in power, and let the river flow. Oh, let the river flow. Sing it again. Oh, let the river flow. Let the river flow. Holy Spirit, come. Move in power, and let the river flow. Oh, let the river flow. Oh, let the river flow. Oh, let the river flow. For I say unto you, inside of My Presence, is everything that will satisfy you. Inside of My Presence is everything your soul is thirsty for. Everything you need is in My Presence. For yea, in My Presence you’ll never be ashamed. In My Presence, you’ll never have a worry. For I say to you tonight, those of you that are worried about tomorrow, there is no tomorrow in My Presence. There is only ‘right now’. Your tomorrow is in your now. Yea, your tomorrow depends on your now. Your response to My Presence takes care of tomorrow. Your response to My Presence takes care of tomorrow. For you can only see now, and that’s all you need to see. Come into My Presence and let the river flow. Sing it with us: Let the River Flow. Oh, let the river flow. Let the river flow. Holy Spirit, come. Move in power. Let the river flow. Let the river flow. Who needs a miracle by tomorrow? Come touch my hand. Just come let me touch you. Oh, I’m in that Cloud. Receive it right now. Fire! Fire! Receive it, receive it, receive it, receive it, receive a miracle, receive a miracle right now. That Cloud is here. Miracles are here! Yahweh is doing it! Yahweh is already doing it! Whoever moved when I said that, that miracle shall be done. Does anybody believe it right now? Yahweh is doing it right now! 30 31
