The Book of Life Series (Part 1) "Born of the Book: Son's Of the Scroll" 4/19/25 - Shane Vaughn
00:00 The father doesn't, no one comprehends it until the father's ready to release it. And we're living in that hour. Now where I've never heard anyone teach adequately from Herbert Armstrong on down to on the book of life. I've never heard, not to my satisfaction, um I've never heard a prophet be able to tell us what the book of life is. And uh when the Lord revealed it to me several years ago, um I had to check and recheck and doublech check to make sure that what I was going to teach on this subject was backed up by the word of Yahweh from Genesis to Revelation. So that's why I've taken so long on the book of life. But I can promise you. Now, I've got it and I'm ready to teach it. Amen. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Ephesians chapter 1 verse4. Because he chose us with him before he created the earth. Let's read that again. He chose us with him before the foundations of the world. Now, you may not know what that's saying. So, let's go up to verse three. Blessed be Yahweh, the father of our king, Yesua Messiah. Now the subject here is Yesua Messiah. And now go to verse four. Because he chose us with him. At the same time he chose Yesua, he chose us with him. Before he created the earth. That's why the Bible says, Minister Austin, that Yesua was crucified before the foundation of the earth. We know he wasn't literally crucified, but he was because it was in the logos, the debar plan of Yahweh. But according to Paul, he did not only choose Yesua and a resurrection for him, but he chose our resurrection at the same time that he chose Yeshua's. But notice what he chose us for. He did not choose us for salvation. See, that's the difference in the Baptist and us. They believe in predestination, but they believe it for salvation, not us. We believe it like the Bible says. They were chosen that we might be holy and without blame before him in love, pre-ordaining us to be his children by adoption through Yesua according to the righteous pleasure of his plan. Here's what Paul just said. This was never about Jesus. It was about us. That's what Paul just said. He said that he chose us to be holy, not saved because all men will be redeemed. He said, "But he chose us to be without blame and to be holy before his father.". Now, I want to show you what was pre-ordained. Revelation 14. This is predestination. What I'm about to show you now, somebody remember that we were chosen with Christ to be without blame before God. All right. Revelation 14 verse one. And I looked, and behold, a lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000, having his name and his father's name written in their forehead. Verse four, these are the ones who were holy. They were not defiled with women. They are virgins. These are the ones that follow the lamb. These are not just saved people. These are the ones that follow the lamb wherever he goes. Verse five, in their mouth was no guile. They are without blame before the throne of Yahweh. Verse four of Ephesians. He has chosen us with him before the foundation of the world that we might become the 144,000. Oh, pastor, it don't say that. Yes, it does. That describes the 144,000 holy and without blame before Yahweh. Amen. Father, as we start this new series today, I realize standing before me are some of the greatest people in the world. I realize that who I'm speaking to today is not a normal group of Christians, but these are elect chosen before the foundations of the world to become holy and without blame before you. I ask you today to take these weak and unprofitable lips of clay and even if I may not be able to preach this, I'm asking you to plant it in their spirit that they might understand who they are. May they leave this house today with a fresh understanding of who they are. Those over in Midland, Texas, Father, may they know today who they are. May they not look around with the seeing of the eye or the hearing of the ear, but may they know by the spirit. Over in Pennsylvania and Maryland, over there at KTC3, help them to know today who they are. Because if they ever truly get it, they'll never go. Hallelujah. In the name of Yeshua, we pray. And everybody said, "Amen.". You may be seated. I'm going to ask for your undivided attention. I don't think I have the voice to preach this morning, so I'm going to have to lay this out the best way that I can. The title of today's sermon is born of the book, sons of the scroll. Born of the book and sons of the scroll. I grew up in the Pentecostal church hearing about the book of life. And for many years, here's how I picture the book of life. I saw a great big library with massive marble tables. I saw clerical angels with quills and inkorns as they meticulously recorded everyone that got saved into the book of life. And when I gave my heart to the Lord and was baptized in his name at four years old, I just imagined one of those mighty angels, somebody brought him a message that I'd gotten saved and they grabbed a Inkhorn and a quill and quickly wrote down John Stephen Shane Vaughn. I knew at that moment that I had been written in that grand heavenly ledger. And oh, I was excited to have my name written in the Lamb's book of life. What joy filled my soul. My name was written in heaven. But there was a problem. I grew up in the old holiness mindset. And in the church I grew up in, every time you failed the Lord, you were backslid. So the problem with me is that angel's eraser grew bigger than the pen. You know, saved one moment, damned the next, one sinful lusting over one woman erase. So, I just knew that the father because of the bunch of junk I did as a child and a young man, I just knew the father had assigned me an angel just to erase and write. I just knew there was one assigned to me because uh of one sinful thought, lusting over a woman. According to the word, if you do it, you've committed adultery. So take my name out of the book. I couldn't hardly sleep as a child. Sister Peggy Richards came through and preached a revival and she preached a sermon that I'll never forget. It haunted me all the days of my life. She preached, "There's an allsei watching you.". Yeah, I'll never forget that sermon. She said, "When you go to the moving picture show, it's an allse watching you.". She propped that foot up like that. She said, "I don't care where you go, what you do. It's an allseeing eye.". You know, I was like, "Oh, God, help me.". And the truth is, there is an allseeing eye watching you. However, it's not watching over you for your destruction, but for your restoration. Amen. Amen. To guide you in the way. I imagined that I had the most exhausted angel in heaven. I truly did. I really believed that they bought fresh erasers every day just for me. In the book of life. Now, in the church I grew up in, and I love the church I grew up in, but just like all the churches you grew up in, there was a lot of wrong and a lot of right. And we had a concept. Now, people don't like it when I get on their religion. I can preach on everybody else's but theirs. But you see, I'm fourth generation Pentecostal, and I love every moment of my heritage. But there were some things we lived in that we shouldn't have had to. And it was called fear. Night and day of our names being taken out of the book of life for mistakes, for sins, for for things that humans do. And what's so sad is we had a term that was called praying back through. Y'all don't know nothing about that. Here's the way it went. You would get an evangelist to come in and the whole church would be on fire. Well, about three months after the revival, you start dwindling down. Some of our sisters would get caught cutting their bins or whatever. You know, those were the days. And then some of us would get caught at Walmart in the TV section. They used to have TVs in there. And we'd stand in that electronic department from morning to night, but we didn't have no TVs in our house. Hallelujah. Brother Sylvester's like, "What are you talking about?". Yes, I grew up. We didn't have no television, son. There was no TVs in the house allowed. And so I would go down to the Walmart and watch TV or or uh. My grandmother pastored in New Orleans. And right next to her church on Jackson Avenue, there was a fire station. All of her boys would leave church and go watch TV at the fire station. And every day she'd have to go over there and get them.
14:45 Why? Because uh in their minds and in my minds, we had backslid. Our names was off the book of life. So then we'd have to come pray back through to get saved again. Now, y'all can't identify with what I'm teaching, but I'll never forget. As a young man, I knew nothing about Yahweh's plan to redeem mankind. However, what happened was I come later to learn that all of those things we were doing in the holiness church, the only thing that was wrong about. It was not the holiness part. It was attributing that to salvation rather than rewards in the kingdom of God. And so we still preach holiness, but we don't preach it to the way that if you fail, your name is taken out of the lamb's book of life. Amen. We preach holiness for rewards in the kingdom of God. And there is a group of people that have been predestined to holiness. See, you thought I was picking on holiness. No, no, no. I'm I'm pitching it. I'm putting where it belongs. There is a people in the earth that are not predestined to be saved. They are predestined to be holy and separated from the world. Amen. And these people are not your runofthe-mill Christians. And it's not that our names are removed from the book of life, which I'm going to deal with in just a moment, but you have to come and understand what you were predestined for. Now, let me ask you this. If Yahweh is going to redeem mankind, why would he need to predestin them to be saved if he was already going to redeem them? That's not what predestination. The predestination was for one man and his brothers, Yeshua and his brethren. And these people would walk a straight and a narrow way. And there is a people that have been predestined for that lifestyle. Everybody can't live holy. Nobody Everybody don't want to live holy. They're never going to live holy. But Yahweh's got a people that he chose with Christ that's going to live holy. Amen. Separated from the world. That was a life of torment because no one in my day understood rewards in the kingdom of God. Do you know. If you're part of First Harvest, do you know you're one of the few groups. On planet Earth, I don't know if you know this or not, that understands rewards in the kingdom. Nobody preaches on that. Nobody. Nobody. Listen, I listen to PA. I listen to everybody. Nobody preaches on rewards in the kingdom of God. And that's where the holiness people have missed it. Do you know why? And I'm just gonna lay it on the line because I don't care. I'm just not feeling well enough to care. Do you know that's why we lost our young people in the holiness church? Because we taught them that sin and mistakes falling made them a sinner again. No. If we would have preached holiness that it was attaining a prize. That we were obtaining a reward in the kingdom of God, we would have kept an entire generation instead of sending them to hell when they failed and made sinful mistakes. It would get so bad for me, Sister uh Sarah, that I literally dreaded the next service because I knew I had failed the Lord. And I knew that I was going to hell. And I knew that the only way out of it was to go back through the spit trial. Y'all don't know what the spit trial is? It's when you got to go back to the altar and get spit all over again by all the sisters in the church. Amen. Otherwise, I was lost. Right. So instead of that, I just wouldn't go to church. And eventually you get so used to not going to church that you don't go anymore. And we taught holiness wrong. And I don't care who likes it or who don't. You can never attach holiness to salvation. You can only attach it to sanctification and the rewards of a holy life. Hallelujah. Otherwise, there's only going to be about 3,000 people in heaven. I'm talking about from Genesis to now. Because the ones that think they holy, their insides is not holy. So that was a tormenting life for me. It was confusion. But I've come to teach you today that we have completely misunderstood the true nature of the book of life. Could it be that it is something far more glorious, far more living than we've ever dared to think about? Today, by the help of the Holy Ghost, we're going to begin to walk down an ancient path. And we're going to go past the fear, past the mystery of the book of life. We're going to find the revelation of it until we become sons of the scroll. Centuries before my childhood, there was a rocky island called the aisle of Patmas. John, the beloved apostle, was caught up in the spirit on the Sabbath day. Let us read his words. Revelation 20 and verse 12. Revelation 20 and verse 12. When you get there, all say amen. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before Yahweh. And the books were opened, which is the book of life. I'm sorry. And another book was opened, which is the book of life. How many sets of books do we have here? Two. One set of books is the Bible. The Biblia it's opened and then there is another book opened which is the book of life now according to verse 13. Let me turn. There revelations 20 and And uh the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. The dead are judged out of these books according to their works. So my question for those that listen to TV preachers that say it's not by works, that just simply means you're not going to be in the book of life evidently. Because according to this, everyone in the book of life is there because of works. Not faith, not salvation, but works. Two separate sets of books here children and you need to keep that in mind. From childhood we heard people talking about this mysterious book. We heard them talk about the book of life and you better hope your. Name is written there or you're going to hell. Did we merely imagine a he a heavenly ledger or is there something more profound? I believe there's something much more profound. When John spoke of this book, he declared the book of the book of life of the lamb slain from the foundation of the world. But here's the problem. That is a mistransation. I don't know if you have one of these in your study, but every serious Bible student has what's called the emphatic dialot. You've got one, Sister Sarah. Of course you do. Of course you do. Of course you do. Any serious student will have the emphatic dialot. And I study this night and day.
25:54 One thing I love about it, it takes the original Greek and translates it. It doesn't translate it from the texus receptus as the King James does, but it translates it from the Greek that goes that came before the text receptus. And I'd like to read to you how the Diaglot translates this verse. And uh the Young's literal translation translates it this way. And the New Living Bible instead of the book of life, it should be translated not the lamb's book of life, but the book of the life of the lamb. Not the lamb's book of life, but the book of the life of the lamb. This is not the lamb's. The book of life of the lamb is not a clerical list of names. There's no such thing as your name being written in the lamb's book of life. Okay. But there is a such thing as the book of the life of the lamb being written in you. Glory. Glory. Glory. This book, the lamb's, the book of the life of the lamb, ladies and gentlemen, is what we call a biography. It is the story of the lamb. It's the book of the life of the lamb. It is a biography of his obedience, his love, his sacrifice, his holiness, his separation from the world, his works. It is a book that tells you the life of the lamb. Let me give you an example if I may. Elder Baker, if I handed you a book right here and said, "Elder Baker, I want you to read this. This is the book of the life of George Washington.". I would expect that when you're finished digesting the book of the life of George Washington that you could come back to me and tell me where George was born, how he lived his life, who he married, what he liked to eat, his favorite pastime, his hobbies. I would hope you would tell me where he lived and how many children he had. And I would hope that you could tell me a little about his character and a little bit about who he was. And maybe you could tell me about a battle or two that he might have overcome on the Ptoic River. I wish that you would tell me a little bit about the life of George Washington in the book of life. This is not the lamb's book of life. This is the book of the life of the lamb. Oh, blessed be God. Woo! Hallelujah. If I was to give you the book of the life of George Washington, Elder Baker, I would expect. By the end of that book, you would know his character, how he would handle problems, what he would do in a situation because you have been eating the little book of the life of the lamb of George Washington. You've come to know him through the book of his life. Ain't nobody hearing me today. Glory. Yesua did not come to earth for any other reason except to give you a book. Hallelujah. A record, a recording of his life. He is the life of the book. The book don't belong to him. The book is him. My God from Zion. As you begin to study his book, you're going to find out about his suffering. That's why John said, "Take this little book.". He wasn't even talking about the Bible anymore. Uhuh. Oh, John. The angel of the Lord said, "Son, I know you've been preaching a long time and you've studied the Bible, but I've got another. Little book that I want you to eat. And when you eat it, you will become it. You will become the book of the life of the lamb of Almighty Yaheh.". Hallelujah. The lamb's suffering and his victories, his overcoming of death, his birth, his death, his resurrection, his inddwelling of a new creation is the record of his life. And it was written first in himself. And if you'll bring that picture up I sent you, my brother. It's first, this book is first written in chapter one. Who is the head of us all? But brothers and sisters, that book is now being written in the many brethren that's coming out of the book. We are born of the book. We are sons of the scroll. The story is repeating itself. The story is replicating itself in many many many parts of the book. Hallelujah. Just keep that picture up for a minute. Yesua is the first chapter of the book. Ah now you might see why you must be written in the book. It's not you. It's your chapter that must be written in the life story of the lambs of almighty Yahweh. Woo. Oh let's prove it. Hebrews chapter 10:7. It's not the lamb's book. Uh-uh. It's Yahweh's book written first in the lamb. And then there's 144,000 other lambs that must be involved in the book of the life of the lamb. Let's read in Hebrews 10:7. Then I said, this is Yeshua talking. Behold, I come in the volume of the book. It is written of me to do your will, oh God. That's the book of life that lived in him in chapter one. He said, "I am part of the book. You wrote the story. I'm just chapter one of that story. I came in the volume of the book.". What volume? Volume one. He said, "When I came, the book came.". Oh shi. Now you might understand in the beginning was the logos. The logos was with God. The life, the story was with God. And the logos became flesh. The book became flesh. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
35:52 Do you know what part of a ministry you're involved with? Do you have any idea what you're involved with? Do you know that there's no one in the world that I know of that these revelations come as they do in this house? I want you to hear me. God is doing something and you sit there. Like you just part of a church. You either get with it or you. Next one out, honey. You listen to me. This is not a church in your town. This is headquartersh for the end time move of Yaheh. You need to know it and understand what you are a part of, children. Hallelujah. Woo. I'm glad. I know what God's doing in the book. Hallelujah. Elder Baker, the book was written before the foundation of the world. The plan was written in the book. And Yesua said, "I came to fulfill the book. It's written of me in the book.". And how do we know, Yesua, that you're the one it was writing about? I'll tell you how. Because I came to do your will. Hallelujah. I came to obey you. I came to say yes, sir, to every word. That's how I know it was me written in the book because that is the life of the lambs. W I want to ask you today if there is a lamb's book of life. I wish you'd hear that S. You okay out sister Sarah? Sister Sarah's having a fit back there. Hallelujah. Some people love truth more than emotions, more than church. They love truth. They're predestined to love it. Isn't it funny? You always was calling it. What it should have been, the lamb's book of life. The lamb's the 144,000's book. The lamb's book of the life of God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. John 1:14. John 1. And14. And the book became flesh. Oh. Yes. The book. What do you think the log ghost and the debar is? It's the written plans of God. And that book, that book that was first written in the Nazareth, that book that was then written on paper, one day that book was written on flesh and it's still being written on flesh. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Oh, there is a book. And inside of that book is a plan. And part of that plan included Yesua, but a very small part of that plan because this was really the lamb's the lamb's record of the life of God that we beheld the glory of the book when we looked at the man Christ Jesus. Yesua. We were looking at the glory of the book. Hallelujah. That's why when Satan told Yesua, if you are the son of God, if you are who you say you are, if you truly believe you're part of the book, then call down a legion of angels. Oh, and that's when Yesua proved the book was in him because the Father hadn't told him to call down no angels yet. He said, "I came to do thy will on earth as it is in heaven. Hallowed be thy name.". You see that chapter one right there? You see that chapter one is written in a man. You understand what I'm telling you? But my Bible said he was the captain of my salvation uh leading many brethren uh to come through the same book uh that he had to come through. Uh this is the same book uh that he had to live. Uh you've got to live it. His life has to be your life. Oh, blessed be. Woo. I wish I felt like preaching today. Hallelujah. Luke 4. Verse. 21. You need to get that big old ledger out of your mind. You write them in, write them out. Oh. No. I've come to prove to you today that if your name was written in that book, you're going to wind up living that book no matter how hard you fight it because you were predestined for holiness. You were predestined for the book. My God, I feel the Holy Ghost. The book of life, the book of life, Sister Lydia, Minister Lydia, is not the book of salvation. Because if you'll look at the last line, it says everyone in there is in there because of their works. Amen. Salvation is free. It's a gift of grace. You don't work for salvation, but you will work for the book of life. Or better yet, the book will work in you. Oh, that's why the Bible said working out your own salvation because the book is in you and it will work itself out. Daddy, holiness is in that book. Separation is in that book. Uh. Clean living's in that book. Uh. Loving your neighbors in that book. Uh overcoming temptation is in that book. It's the life of God. And there is a people predestined to repeat the story in every generation. Hallelujah. Glad. I'm one of them. I wish. I had Linda Johnson to sing that for me right now. I'm one of them. I'm not ashamed to tell you I'm one of them.
44:12 I'm glad to know tonight those that he did predestined, he did it towards holiness. That's why if you truly understand holiness as I do, it don't bother you with who ain't holy. Used to it bothered me cuz. I thought they was all lost going to hell. So, it bothered me. But now I've come to understand. God's got a plan for them that ain't none of my business. But his plan for me is holiness. His plan for me is separation. His plan for me is doing. It by the book. If I felt better, I'd preach this thing today. Hallelujah. Thank you. Luke chapter 4, verse 21. Yesua is standing in the temple and they hand him a book, a scroll. See, he's a son of the scroll. That's why he laughed at them. Pharisees when they tried to tell him what the scroll said. He said, "Son, I'm a son of the scroll.". Amen. Yeah, I was born of the book. So, I don't know what you're trying to do because the book's in me. Amen. The Sabbath is in me. Oh, yes. Easter is in me. Resurrection is in me. Hallelujah. Not Easter, but resurrection. And I take that back. Luke 4:21. He's standing there holding a book. And here's what he says today. This part of the book is fulfilled in your hearing. He said, "You ain't even got to read that no more. The book is right in front of you. He said, "If you're studying your Bible to get to know God," he said, "you must not know that I and the Father are one. Me and the book are one.". He said, "When you've seen me, you've seen the book. You've seen the Father. When you look at me, you don't even have to read the book. I am the book. Why? Because I came to do thy will. You'll know if you're born of the book or not if you come to do his will. Turn with me to Revelation chapter 5. For generations, the scroll was sealed. Nobody could read the story. Hallelujah. Revelations 5. Let's read one through five. Oh, I'm so glad to know that the book is coming out of me. The life of the lamb. Oh, Shai. Revelation 5 1-5. Let's read it together today. I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne. A book written inside and on the back. But nobody it was sealed. Adam sealed it. This is the book of life. It's in the hand of Yahweh. But until this point, there was no man on earth that the book could flow through. I saw a mighty angel with a loud voice. Is anybody worthy to become a son of this scroll? Anybody be born of this book? Anybody worthy to even look at it? Does anybody even care about the story in this debar plan of Yahweh? I wept bitterly because no one was found worthy to open the book. And the original doesn't say read the scroll, but to express the scroll, neither to look on it. But one of the elders said to me, "Don't weep, John. Behold, the lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, has overcome.". You see, the whole book is about overcoming. He has overcome. And he will open the seven seals and release the book from the throne unto his own. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Why was he worthy to open the book? Because he overcame his own will. You see, that's the story of the lamb's life. Overcoming your own plan, your own will for his will. That is the story. And Yesua did exactly that. And he opened it and he removed the seven seals. Now, why is that important? Because had he not removed the seven seals, he would have been the only one to ever be able to read the book. But he removed the seven seals for his Sabbathkeeping seventh day children so that this book could flow among another group of people beside himself. He opened up the story so he could open up the glory of the next chapter, the next chapter and the next chapter and the next chapter. He released the book. He released the book. And notice what he did. Verse six, the last line. And sent it forth into all the earth. Verse 10. What will this book do? It'll make us kings and priests to our father. So we can reign on the earth. I've come to declare to you. Today, the book of life is not a list of saved people. It's a list of reigning people. It's a list of kings and priests. It is a list of kings and priests that will reign over the kingdom of God. The mystery is being read aloud. You are the scroll being unrolled before the world. I want you to hear something today. The book of life, the lamb, the book of the lamb's life is not a divine checklist. It's not a heavenly record kept in fear. It is a revelation of the people in whom the lamb's life will dwell in. I think I'll repeat that last line. It is a record of who the lamb's life will be duplicated in until the end of time. Absolutely. They were written in a book. That's right. And that's why some of you are here today and watching me on Zoom. You don't know why you're here. You don't know how you got here. I do. There was a predestined book. You were in it. And the book is going to find you wherever you are. This book must have more chapters. Now I'm going to shock some religious folk. Now I'm going to shock some of my Pentecostal friends and Baptist friends and and even messianic messed up friends. Everybody loves to preach and the word became flesh. No, my friend, the word is becoming flesh. Chapter one became flesh, but chapter 39, chapter 20,000 is still becoming flesh. If the word is the book and I'm written in the book, that means that book is still becoming flesh every single day in another lamb. That's why Satan loves Easter Sunday so much because it brings you to the resurrection of one man. But we're celebrating shàuote, which brings us to the resurrection of billions of men. You understand what I'm telling you? And that's why we must declare these holy days. Uh we are declaring the whole book of God. Hallelujah. Everybody will wake up in the morning with their go. Glad clothes on and file down to a church to celebrate a resurrection that they dishonor 364 days out of the year. We can't miss Easter. Oh honey, you need to miss Easter and you need to find shàuote. You need to find 50 days of resurrection, not just of one man, not just of two men, but of a whole harvest that's coming up in a resurrection. We don't just celebrate the resurrection of Christ. We celebrate the resurrection of Kitchen. We celebrate the resurrection of all those that are waiting. There ain't no such thing as resurrection Sunday. It's resurrection every day. Why? Because these 49 days we are focused on all the chapters of the book being resurrected. Amen. I want to prove it to you. Sit down so I can preach. I want to prove it to you. In the morning, you'll all wake up. You'll see the pretty dresses all on your timeline. People that know nothing about the resurrection, celebrating it. And not one of them know that that resurrection mourn. There's a reason. Yahweh never ordained a day to celebrate it. Because it takes away from the whole book. Hallelujah. There's a people on earth celebrating the whole story. We started 8 days ago, 7 days ago. Now we started celebrating resurrection. We started with chapter 1. And when we get done, we'll be at the Jubilee 50 of all men's resurrection. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
58:27 And I got news for you. It's not just because he lives. It's because we live. Oh. My God. From heaven. It's because the book is still being written in fleshai. Pastor Von, you're diminishing the role of Christ. My dear friend, if if the role of Christ was for the resurrection of one man, then you're diminishing the role of Christ. I've come to magnify his role, multiply his book, expand his story, and bring it to its ultimate conclusion, which is you and me. Hallelujah. They'll be sitting there in the morning with their little chickens and Easter eggs. Pentecostal church in Gulfport's got an Easter. Bunny said to be there tomorrow. Bunch of pagan Babylonian. You listen to me and you listen well. You folks don't understand the revelation you've been given. God has given you the mysteries of all eternity for you to hold them dear. And instead of them singing tomorrow because he lives, I challenge you to add to it and sing because we live. The book is still alive. The story is still being written in the book of the life of the lamb. But I haven't even gotten to the good part. Hallelujah. As you continue the story of Christ on earth, there is something that I heard old brother Herbert Armstrong say that changed my world and it changed how I saw God. And it goes into everything I teach. And it seems like a simple little statement, but it shattered my old way of thinking. He said, "God is duplicating himself.". That changed my world. God is duplicating himself in us. You know, when my wife and I goes into the studio to record a music project, they always give us what's called the master. And that is the recording. But the master helps no one until we send it to the duplication process so the world can hear the sound of the song. We don't just need a master. We need God to duplicate himself in ush through the book. Yesua was the master. He is the master. But I am the continuation of the story of the book of the life of the lamb. I can I prove to you. I'm the duplication of it sir every every year. On the 14th day of the first month. The master we go to the Passover table. You know he never celebrated. Easter. You do know that right I just wanted to make sure y'all knew that The master would go to the Passover table every year. Why would he do it? Because it was written in the book. It's in that Torah, which is a pattern of the heavenly book. And he he would follow the will of God. He would go 50 days. He would count the omar. He would show up at Pentecost. Oh yeah, he did. Even in Acts 2:38, he showed up for Pentecost. Shi, oh, every Sabbath day, the seventh day of the week, he would show up at the house of his father. Now, here's my question. If he or none of the apostles or any believer celebrated Easter for the first 125 years of the church and you do, who are you duplicating? Come on, pastor. Come on. Who are you duplicating? The God that I serve wrote a book. And as long as we are the continuation of the book, we are the duplication of the master. Minister Cali, the life you're living is a chapter of the book of the life of the lamb. What is the ink? Your love is the ink. Your overcoming is the binding of the book. You were all today, if you're hearing me, predestined to be born of the book. Oh yes, you were to be sons of the scroll. Sister Jill, if you're watching, Sister Jill Psyduck, I want the Holy Ghost to anoint your mind now. I want a big picture of the book and hundreds of us walking out of the book and the pages and the ink following us. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. The concept of the heavenly scroll or the heavenly book did not start in the book of revelation. It goes back into ancient Israel. Exodus 32. If you'll turn there with me. I'm going to prove to you. Today. The only people written in that book is the people that that book is written in. How many knows that Israel when they were first called out of Egypt, how many knows there was no priestly tribe? The whole nation was to be kings and priests. The whole nation. They were all called to a life of holiness. Now, everybody around them. In those foreign nations, they weren't all going to hell. They were just not called to holiness. Kings and priests. We're fixing to go real deep here in about 30 seconds. And if you thought you understood before, now you didn't. You're fixing to really understand. Now we're in the seedbed of the whole Bible. Now, this scripture used to scare me because back then I thought the book of life was the book of salvation. Here's what Moses said. Verse. 31. These people have sinned a great sin. Yet now, if you will forgive their sin, but if not, I pray, blot me out of your book which you have written. In other words, see, I used to think that meant I could lose I could be written out of the book. That's where my fear came from. Oh my God. If Moses is going to be written out of it, then I'm going to be written out. Oh, but no, no, no. Notice. Who Oh, God. If you'll help me because I feel that flying man in my stomach. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. If you'll help me Lord right. Now. Moses was the leader of a certain group of people, kings and priests unto God. And he said, "The book of life that you have written, my name is written in that book because I'm part of Israel. I know I'm part of kings and priests. Don't ever forget who that book contains.". He understood the book of life only has the names of the 12 tribes of Israel. I'm going to prove it to you. Oh, I'm gonna prove every bit of it to you. Why do you think ladies and gentlemen in that new Jerusalem. No gate of that city is not one of the 12 tribes of Israel because only kings and priests are going into the city and only they are written in the book of the lamb's life because it's only for Israel that the life of the lamb will come through. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Moses knew there was a record in heaven of the so-called lost tribes. But he knew they would never be lost cuz. There was a record in heaven of the lambs of the lambs. Of the lambs. Hallelujah. Now, now from that book, you can be blotted out. Why? They send a great sin. They mixed this new holy way back with Babylon. And he wasn't saying send them to hell. He was saying they have failed to qualify with the book and therefore they will not be able to rule and reign with you. Oh, God. I'm going take my shirt off. So I can quit pull my pull my tails out. That way I can put on it. It's a fat problem. You wouldn't understand it. Hallelujah. Moses was part of Israel. Only Israel is written in the book of life. Why? I'm fix to prove to you why. If you'll hang tight, I'm going to show you what the book of life, the register is all about. I'm going to show you why you was in Oklahoma, Sister Denisa, and wound up at the Gulf of America. With a bunch of people. You didn't even know, people that didn't live as separated as you did. You didn't understand why God would put you in the midst of that backslid, hypocritical mess. Hallelujah. I come to tell you why, honey. Because he wrote your name in the beginning of the world, and he found you. And he put the book in you. Let me show you whose name is in the book of life if I may. Psalm. 69. And 28. I'm going to show you the book. Evidently, there is a group of righteous, holy people that is written in the predestined plans of Yahweh. Verse 28, let them be blotted out of the book of the living and not be written with those walking that narrow way. In other words, if you have found this way and committed a great sin and turned against it, you will be blotted out of the plans that Yahweh had for your life. That's how serious this is. If you're not producing the book, you'll be cast out of the book. If you're not one with the book, you'll be rejected by the book. Oh, bless his name. Hallelujah. I'll show you who's in the book. Malachi. Uhhuh. Let's go to Malachi 3:16. If I can keep Elder Connelly in his seat for a moment. Malachi 3:16. Oh, shy. Woo. Hallelujah. Everybody there? A book of remembrance was written before him for those that fears Yahe and meditates on his name. Hallelujah. Only Israelel fears his name. That's not saved people. That's holy people. I'm going to tell you who that is. That's some people I grew up with that was separated from the world. Now, they was they didn't preach this thing exactly as I understand it, but they were separated from the world. They feared God and meditated on his name. They didn't wait to see how often you were going to dismiss church. No, they wanted to know when's the next service. Why? They were meditating on the name. There was a book in them. You see children, it's not that you're being written in the book. It's that the book is being written in you and you're becoming the book. You're eating the book. Oh, hallelujah. There's about 13 parts to this message. I pray to God. I'll get them through uh the next few weeks to you. But let's turn now to Psalms 139:E1. 16. Oh, this message only gets better and better the more you preach it. Hallelujah. Psalms 139:16. Shout amen when you get there. Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. I was predestined in the story. You wrote my name in a story and that story wrote its name in me. Hallelujah. I want to teach you today that the book of life is not about salvation. It is a book, listen carefully, of qualified citizenship. Do you know in America. We have some people, Minister Sarah, that are not written in the book. They're called illegal alien. They're not in no book we got. They're not qualified citizens. They running around without being written in the book. We don't have no record of them. They're not qualified to be part of this government. They're running all over the country collecting food stamps from us, but we don't know who they are. I will prove it to you.
01:18:07 Now, remember, everything in the Old Testament is written for a reason, as an example to us. Let me ask you this question. We saw a story of the book of life, the lamb's book of life. How many of you agree with me that that lamb is not literal? So why did you ever think the book was literal? If you ain't really got a lamb, you ain't really got a book. Yahweh uses these things to help us understand eternal truth. Yahweh don't need a book. What book would there ever be? But he does have a story, a plan that's always represented by a book. But he shows us in the Old Testament. Before we turn there, let's go to the book of Nehemiah. You're about to read about a group of people called Israel. And guess where they are? They're returning from Babylonian captivity. Now, you better follow me. They've been in Babylon for 70 years. They thought they was Babylonian by now. But suddenly, King Darius rose up and sets them all free. Tells them. And what does he do? He turns their hearts back to home, back to the fathers. Did anybody pick that up? Uh they didn't even want to go home. They had become happy in their Baptist church. They had become happy where they were. They knew how to have church. They knew what to do. They knew the committees and the auxiliaries. They knew how to vote the pastor in and vote him out and starve him out if he wouldn't leave by not paying tithe. And they knew how to run Babylon. But suddenly, Sister Kimmy, they were awakened and sent back home. They had a leader because Yahweh never does it without a leader. His name was Nehemiah. We're going to read what happened as they begin to head towards home. Nehemiah chapter. 7 verse 5. Then God put it in my mind together. The nobles, the rulers, and the people that they might be registered by genealogy. Go down to verse 64. These sought their listing among those who were registered by genealogy, but it was not found. Therefore, they were excluded from the priesthood. As defiled. I want you to hear me now. You listening? Listen. All the people left Babylon and they came to Nehemiah. Nehemiah said, "God put it on my heart to get this thing in order, sir, to structure this thing, to put elders in place, rulers. He called me to get it in order.". Yes, sir. And then by the time he got to verse 64, he's getting ready to ordain the priesthood. That's going to lead the rebuilding of the house of God. But notice what happened. Here came some men that were not written in the book. They were not Levites. They were not chosen. And he got there and they said, "Hey, we want to be a priest. We'd like to live at the temple. We'd like to eat some fresh. Shoeb bread every seven days. We'd like to not have to get a real job and just sit up at the temple. That's what we really like. That job.". Hallelujah. He said, "Hold on. Let's check the book. Who is your daddy?". Oh, he ain't in the book. He ain't in the book. You ain't in the book. You're not a qualified citizen. You're not a qualified citizen. Your works don't add up. You are not allowed to rule and reign in the kingdom of God. Only those who names were found in the registry. Do you know why some people disagree with how God set up the Levitical priesthood? But let me tell you why he did it. I grew up in a pastor's home. I spent my days, Brother Sylvester, watching my grandmother leave to make what they used to call sick calls. I'm talking about from 8 in the morning after she prayed an hour, running all over town to every little invallet's house, every little widow, taking care that that's what she did. I I watched her and my grandpa. That's what they did from morning to night. I grew up watching them serve the people of God. I watched them be criticized. I w I lived it. And something be to be planted in my own heart to want to serve the people of God. They had set me apart. It's just like if a man is a mechanic or or a carpenter, he tends to teach that to the sons. Well, what happens is. When you have got the people the book. In your life, it places the temple in your heart or the people. Only those that were proven by dissent and faithfulness. Only those who had not polluted themselves with Babylon, only they were qualified. You see, they were going back to Jerusalem to rebuild Jerusalem. Nehemiah wasn't calling people together. He was calling nobles and rulers together. You understand? And they were headed back to rebuild the old waste places. They were headed back to repair the breach in the wall. They were headed back to restore the temple of God. And the only people that were qualified were those written in the book. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Because that book determined your citizenship. You couldn't have access to the temple if you didn't have the right genealogy. And I've come to preach to you tonight. You will never have access to the temple without the right genealogy. You got to be a true son of God. Not just a child, but a son. We Theia fully adopted. Fully adopted. You've got to be in the genealogy of the high priest. Y'all are getting tired and you missed that one. So, let's try this again. This third temple has a high priest, MelchzDC. Notice the word Zedc. Melchi. Zedc. If your name is not among the Zetites, you will never be allowed to rule and reign with Christ in this third temple. You've got to be written in the genealogy of the Zetakites. Without your name in the book, you're not disqualified from salvation. You're disqualified from the new Jerusalem. I'll read as I prepare to close. 2 Corinthians 3. And3. Notice I said prepare to close 2 Corinthians 3 and3. I don't want to give any false hope. Here's what Paul said. You 2 Corinthians 3 and3 you are manifestly declared to be the book of Christ written not with ink but the spirit of the living. God not on tablets of stone but on tablets of the human heart. I want to read line one again. You are the book of Christ. Uh chapter whatever your chapter is. You are the book of the lamb of life. Hallelujah. The world doesn't need more books to read. They need living letters to walk on the earth. Do you know you can win many people to God without ever handing them a Bible? They can watch you love your enemies and see the Bible. Oh yes. They can watch you overcome your fears uh your anxieties uh and they will see the book of overcoming in your life. Oh be the book children. We are born of the book. We are sons of the scroll. Romans 8:19. The earnest expectation of the creation eagerly awaits to read the books of the lambs. They're waiting for that life to come through you. Daniel said in Daniel 12:1, my final scripture, if you'll turn there, Daniel 12:1, everyone who is found written in the book shall be delivered. Now, what does that mean, delivered? Hold tight. We just read in Romans 8, creation is waiting for the delivery of the book. And Daniel said, everyone that's written in the book will be delivered to the world. We will be delivered. They will get a UPS package with the book of the life of the lambs of God. Hallelujah. Would you stand this morning and give him the glory that he's writing the story in the signs of the scroll? I want to close with these lines. The world, please give me your attention, please. I'm not done. Almost done. The world reads dead newspapers every day, but soon they will read living sons. Everyone in this room today was written before time to be revealed in this time. The seals are breaking. The suns are rising. Not written with ink, but by the spirit. Creation is groaning and the scrolls are opening. The world will not find God in libraries. They will find him in the books of the sons. The scroll is opening. We are the scroll.
01:32:36 Can we give Father God almighty praise and thank him for what he's doing in our lives? Hallelujah. If you thank him for his word, do you thank him for fresh shoeb bread? Do you thank him for hidden mana today? Why don't you thank him for feeding you today? Come on, thank him for feeding you today. The book of the life of the lamb. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Bishop Kendrick, come this morning if you feel like it. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I pray that you take this message home with you, children, and let this book work its way through you and in you. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
