Summary

This sermon compares the U.S. Constitution to Scripture, arguing that both serve as final authorities in their respective domains. The speaker teaches that no branch of government was created to protect citizens, but rather to protect the Constitution itself. He contends that the survival of both a republic and a church depends on submission to a final authority and that truth is the foundation of a functioning republic.
