* I want to start a series of classes that I think are going to be a blessing to you all Bible students that are always facing the Dilemma of which Bible translation is correct now if you followed my teachings in the past you know that we don't believe any Bible translation is inspired by God we believe every translation is man's attempt to do the best he can with what knowledge he has to convey such deep thoughts holy thoughts into the languages of the world translation is a tricky tricky art because it is impossible to * translate culture cultural meaning hidden meaning you can only translate the the letters uh for example where I live in the Deep South we have several sayings that it would be hilarious to see you translate them into another language we might say we don't give a hill of beans down here in the South now you can translate those words but you cannot Translate the meaning how we are thinking when we make that expression uh for example uh in the King James version we're told uh and that uh Jesus knew no sin but when you go back to the * original when you trace it back it doesn't say that it says he learned to do no sin so if you're a translator you have a difficult job this is not a a a put down on translations However the fact remains none of them are the infallible word of God so that puts me and you the Bible student in a great dilemma after all who has the truth how can you take one Bible and get hundreds of different interpretations I believe the problem is in the fact that we do not treat the scriptures scientifically and that's why I'm naming * this series of classes for the Sirus Bible student scriptural science one one what you're going to learn in this class is the process that I personally use to try to find the truest meaning of of the scriptures now you and I may have a different world view that might limit us from agreeing on how I interpret scripture and what is that worldview I'm of the belief that the Holy Bible is not a book that can be read just with the natural I I believe it is a spiritual book that it was written by a holy mind called the Holy * Spirit the holy mind of Yahweh himself wrote this book it would seem to me that to understand the book you got to try to get that same mind in you to be able to comprehend it so therefore I don't believe you can pick up the Bible and just you know begin to gloss over it and uh you know just know what the meaning is I don't believe you can translate it that way I believe there are principles and not just principles scientific laws that we can go by in translating the scriptures give you just a couple of examples Psalms 1 * and3 for he will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water onethird of your Bible is what we call poetically written onethird that's a large portion of your Bible that uses metaphors and cannot be read literally if you try to read it literally this is where many people make a mistake in The Book of Enoch in their cosmology views because of a literal reading rather than metaphorical Matthew 25 And1 The Kingdom of Heaven is like 10 virgins who took a lamp to meet their bridegroom metaphor Isaiah 422 and the inhabitants are like * grasshoppers anytime you see an expression that says it will be like it that's indicating to you that this is a metaphor this is not literally and that text should not always be taken literally your first test in becoming a student of the scripture is when to read literally when to read allegorically metaphorically anthropomorphised when do you read it literally this is the great test of Bible study that you will have to grow in as you study the word now we have scriptures like genesis 3:14 that are obvious metaphors but they don't say they are * let me back up I just said when you see the words it will be like grasshoppers the inhabitants are like grasshoppers that tells you with that word like this is a metaphor but there are some verses that don't use such trigger words such clues that it's a metaphor Genesis 3:14 perfect example on your belly you shall go and you shall eat dust all the days of your life it doesn't say likened unto or anything else that says that as a metaphor Psalms 96 and 12 says all the trees of the woods Will Rejoice before Yahweh does it say and those men that * are like the Trees of the woods it gives no emphatic statement that it is a metaphor we can continue in Isaiah 55 and 12 the mountains and the hills will break forth into singing before you and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands that ladies and gentlemen is poetic writing okay now we have some people that will read that verse and literally think that the mountains are going to begin to clap their hands before the Lord Revelation 7 And1 after these things I saw four Angels standing at the Four Corners of the * earth now those are metaphors but then we run into a more complicated problem there are Bible texts that can be literal and metaphorical at the same time and that is where Bible interpretation gets very tricky these texts have what we call a two-fold meaning it has a literal meaning and a deeper meaning twofold in Hebrew we refer to that as Pat uh we we there is there is a a Hebrew understanding of the scriptures uh that that is very uh it talks to us about the layers of understanding and I'll get into that Hebrew idiom as we * get further into these classes now let's show you an example of these two-fold meanings okay literal and spiritual we find one in numbers chap 20 and verse 8 and by the way turn to these scriptures pause the video while you turn see with your own eyes as you learn how to study the scriptures thus you shall bring water for them out of the Rock and give drink to the congregation and their animals okay now that sounds like a very literal reading but when we get to 1 Corinthians 10 and4 it says for they drank of that * spiritual rock that followed them and that rock was anointed which is the proper word for Christ so here Paul is seeing a Paul is doing like I do with scripture interpretation he sees a literal but he also sees something under the text uh that he alludes to now what I want to demonstrate to you in these classes that throughout the Bible both the literal and the poetic text both of them have patterns so I asked you at the beginning of this lecture how do we know how do we know which translation is right and if none of them are right how * do we find the truth you find them the same way that scientists find the laws of science the first thing they look for is what patterns that repeat themselves without fail and those patterns then become laws the laws of physics repeat themselves without fail for you to properly understand your Bible you must become a detective of pattern that repeat themselves over and over and over until you see a law that cannot be changed that you until you see these patterns that have they point you to a deeper spiritual meaning these patterns * are formed by words the words in your Bible are the pieces of the pattern that you have to note and follow like a detective so how do we discover these patterns what do these patterns tell us about the kingdom of Yahweh that yua spoke of in these classes I'm going to explain the important patterns that are hidden in the Bible and how we can learn to see them you're not going to see them unless you're looking for them that's why this series is called science of the scriptures you've got to be looking for truth to find it we are going to give * you the spiritual depth in these classes that will heal your confusion of how to know the truth without fail these class will equip you to grow and become one with the heart and the mind of your father there is one thing for sure your heavenly father has a mind just like you do that mind is filled with thoughts and just like you he has a certain way of thinking just like you do just like your husband or your spouse you get to know their way of thinking and if you know their way of thinking then you know their what their * patterns and when you learn the patterns they become predictable it becomes a law right so that's what you're going to learn in these classes science of the scriptures how to learn the heart of your father how he thinks and when you learn some of the basics of his thinking all of a sudden you will be able to interpret the scriptures following these patterns and these laws and they'll never fail you thank you for watching we'll be back with another Wonderful class from science of the scriptures

Summary

This introductory teaching in the “Science of the Scriptures” series explains the principles of biblical interpretation through patterns, metaphors, symbolism, and spiritual laws embedded within scripture. Using passages from Psalms, Isaiah, Genesis, Revelation, Numbers, Matthew, and 1 Corinthians, the speaker teaches that scripture contains multiple layers of meaning and cannot always be read through strict literalism. The message compares biblical interpretation to scientific investigation, arguing that recurring patterns and repeated themes reveal Yahweh’s deeper intentions and the hidden structure of scripture. It emphasizes that true understanding comes through spiritual maturity, developing the mind of Yahweh, and learning to discern the symbolic and prophetic language woven throughout the Bible.
