Because if you are strong enough, ruthless enough, powerful enough, evil will overcome good. Aggression will overcome moderation.” Let that land. Jesus Christ. No advantage. Over Genghis Khan. Now the clips are everywhere. The Christians are furious. The commentators are yelling. And the professional pearl-clutchers on both the Left and the Right are doing what they do best — reacting before they understand. So before you share the outrage reel... let Professor Toto break this down. Bone by bone. Because what Netanyahu said is more complicated than the clip — and more dangerous than the mob realizes. WHAT HE ACTUALLY SAID — AND WHY First — context. Because context is a thing that used to matter in journalism before journalism died. Netanyahu was not giving a theology lecture. He was not preaching at a Christmas service. He was answering a press question about Israel’s war posture — specifically whether Israel should show more restraint against Iran and regional enemies. Genghis Khan — The Kingdom That Is Genghis Khan did the exact opposite. Conquered nation after nation. Burned cities. Killed millions. Built the largest contiguous land empire in the history of the world. By the world’s scoreboard? The ultimate winner. So Netanyahu looks at these two men through a military lens and says: In a violent world, the Christ model gives you no battlefield advantage over the Khan model. And in that narrow framework? He’s not entirely wrong. HERE’S THE QUESTION NOBODY ASKS Would you walk onto the battlefield at Valley Forge — 1776, the Continental Army starving and freezing in the snow — and tell George Washington: “General, be more Christ-like. Lay down your weapons. Turn the other cheek to the British.” Go ahead. Say it out loud. Because if Washington had followed that advice, there is no United States of America. There is no Constitution. There is no First Amendment allowing you to post your outrage about Netanyahu. Tyranny does not retreat because you are gentle. It advances because you are defenseless. It lives in the real world where Nehemiah put a sword in one hand and a trowel in the other and told his people: Fight for your families and your homes. He just perfected it for his generation. And Netanyahu — whether he knows it or not — just described Satan’s playbook and called it history.
