this but I'm going to I testified Wednesday night [Music] sister Tilly I was in church my whole life I'm not bragging but I never gave my mother an ounce of trouble I don't ever remember her having to whip me I said yes ma'am not all kids are that way I get it but I never gave my mom an ounce of trouble and I was in church my whole life but I had never 6 prayed the way that I had prayed when my mama was laid on her deathbed brother Ricky it made my life go to a whole nother level because I realized hey mama ain't gonna be there anymore and I've got to take her place and who's gonna tell my children and their children's children and their children it's my place now mama ain't here I don't have a grandma I don't have a sister it was mama I need y'all to hear what I'm saying tonight and she later that I see you three months Elder Ricky and it was a two-way trip each way and I went every day I went every day because that was my mama and as long as 7 the lord gave me breath I was going she didn't have nobody else but me and I took my little homeschool work with my kids and they sat there in that little waiting room and they did their work all day long and that night we were preaching somewhere two hours away from the hospital and I got in the shower sister Callie I knew I was to hold up I knew I was to hold up and she was holding on and suffering from me I'm going somewhere I need y'all to hear what I'm saying and I prayed a prayer Earl Morgan that was the hardest prayer I've ever had to pray 44 years 40 years then [Music] I got in the 8 shower and I said that this was after our meeting I got in the shower and I said Lord [Music] your will not my will [Music] I'm not preaching at night but I just feel letting the spirit to say this to somebody tonight I got in my pajamas and I got in the bed and the phone rang that quick the nurse said y'all need to get back up here right now within 24 hours my mama was gone it was the hardest prayer I ever had to pray for the Rickman but it wasn't my will anymore it's his and I have prayed that prayer every day of my life Elder Baker since my mama went to be because it ain't my will I have to 9 get Tiffany out of the way I have to get the flesh out of the way and it ain't about me anymore because what do you want me to do whether I'm sifting is wheat or whether I'm in the fire or whether I'm turning out as gold in the moment it doesn't matter it's what he wants from me and it don't always feel good but by the time we hit that bridge oh goodness is running after it's running after me it's this part right here that got me your goodness is running after it's running after me right here with my life laid down I'm surrendered now I give away everything your goodness running after it's 10 chasing after what I'm in involved in 16 life I can contact him knowing the right one that's able to help us in the middle of all in the midst of all of the things of the world I know some friend of our pastors that were flying their airplane After the Storm I believe it was Katrina and it's something out of the plane I don't know if it's a jet but anyway they had to land and where did they have to land no fly zone in Keesler amen and those officers there they had them restrained but they had to land but anyway even at that and one of the one of the pastors he said well get a hold of the president of the United States and so they 17 called the president and the president said let them go I've been to their Church Hallelujah Hallelujah that's right they knew the right one that was above it all come on Amen the president of the United States it wasn't the one here now but it was one back then amen I believe in praise God and I know him I know him he's greater Hallelujah if you want to know somebody that's greater than anything that you face in life know him Hallelujah I'm saying get personalized with him amen have a relationship with him Hallelujah and if you do if you start hurting he's going to feel it if something is 18 against you and come at a battling against you he's gonna do it amen and you're going to have the battles in this world amen you're going to have these particular confrontations and all we got to do is we want to see talk to the master I know his name Hallelujah I know his name I know I haven't seen that I can present it no matter where we're at Hallelujah no matter what condition or what situation or what I'm confronted with I can bring that Signet up I know him Hallelujah praise God if I know him could ever know come on Hallelujah Hallelujah if the enemy comes against me I say well I want to 19 talk to the master so here get scared and take on yeah is that right of course he knows that I know the master Hallelujah he knows I'm acquainted with him Hallelujah so it pays to be acquainted with the King of Kings and the Lord of lords the one that's over the whole business how many believe in how many are thankful that you know him yes hallelujah it's going to be those times when your plane lands and you don't know what to do they're about to take you over the enemy wants he's already had his eye on you try to destroy you amen but you say just call the master Hallelujah he knows where I'm 20 at He Knows My Name all he's got to do is say the word amen hey after that those people that were there said y'all want some water it's everything he's all right Hallelujah because they knew the main guy Hallelujah it paid to know the main guy Hallelujah all of this that we're doing is not in vain all the singing that's given is not in vain all the ministry That Goes Forth is not in vain amen all of that is for a purpose that we can have a relationship not only the one singing but the people that are around them amen and that's what we work for we pulsate we work for the kingdom we don't just 21 work for ourselves they don't just sing for theirselves what good would that do just singing for yourself but they sing for the kingdom of God Hallelujah praise Hallelujah I know him I know his name amen I know where he's at Hallelujah I know he's with me I don't have to go through a bunch of calisthenics to get to him either all I gotta do is breathe his name Hallelujah and he's there I know that he's an omnipresent God I know he's omnipotent he has all power and I know that he's omniscient what is that he knows all things I believe it Hallelujah he knows it he knows me I know him that's your 22 main objective in life a lot of people in this world you might have become acquainted with but make sure that you know him if we can equate you and there's people that try to get people acquainted with him all over the world amen he must be pretty important is that right amen amen they're all and their Direction trying to know him trying to get people acquainted with him some of them don't know which way to get to him but I'm thankful that I found out a long time ago how to get to him I found out what he can do it I feel like Sean [Applause] I know him hallelujah praise God hallelujah 23 hallelujah we this is what it's all about to give us a closer knowing purpose is far take us away from out there in the world bring us into the place and the confines and then introduce us to his spirit is that right learning learning how to follow his spirit amen hallelujah that's why we have to have the spirit the Bible says without his Spirit you're none of his Hallelujah I'm thankful tonight that I've received his Spirit Hallelujah yes yes Hallelujah and he don't have any particular place he'll fill you with it either I was down in New Orleans on the other side of New Orleans and I went 24 down to the altar in a little Pentecostal church I knelt down at that Altar and God changed my whole life he filled me with his spirit then I began to walk with him I could have easy thought right then [Music] wait and get to heaven want to but I got involved in his kingdom is that right foreign I've seen many people come and go but they just wanted to have touched they didn't want to get involved but I want to be involved with him I want to be his friend I want to get his mind I want to think like he thinks Hallelujah I want to know what he expects out of me Hallelujah not the whole world me 25 Lord what did you expect out of men that's what I want to do and I don't want to come short Hallelujah when my plane lands I want to call the main guy is that right I might go in a no-flying Zone and go down Hallelujah Hallelujah and all I got to do is call the master that's right Hallelujah cause I'm going to come against the odds in the world if you're full-fledged 100 him then you're gonna come against the odds that come against you in the world that we're living in you're gonna come against it your plane's gonna land you better get a hold of you better know his name you better know how to 26 get a hold to him Hallelujah I believe that Hallelujah why am I doing all that weird hey we had a prayer meeting this morning dude yes Hallelujah this place was on fire we was calling on his name and he was coming down Hallelujah and he's coming down tonight foreign [Applause] in the middle of the night when the the Medical Science said the prayer problems yes but let's go to a hard power I know somebody I know another name Helena you might be bill or James or Jim Hallelujah but I know him I know the main guy Hallelujah [Music] Yeshua heals how many believe it he came here for the purpose of 27 acquainting me with heaven Hallelujah all I knew was this old Earthly stuff before but he came down that I could have what life life and that more what abundantly the real stuff let somebody say the real stuff all of this other is only pretentious it only gets you by for a little while and you're out of here I was talking about so many people that were come up with us they all gone they've all passed Hallelujah I'm still here but I know him I still know him that he still answers my prayer he still brings victory I believe it tonight Hallelujah and if you ever want your main theme should be in 28 your life I want to be closer to him I want to know more about him I want to be able to present myself to him I don't want anything that would keep me back from from having a relationship with him amen I believe it I want to be closer acquainted with him I want to know more about him is that right after we've known all that we know there's so much more we haven't even started he's bigger than anything you could ever imagine I love the Lord Hallelujah praise God we're going to take our offering and [Music] come sing baby come to my mind about one time my mother and dad was flying out to see my 29 baby sister in Missouri and just the day before they had a tragedy in New Orleans one of the planes landed in a hotel right across from there it's a tragedy there went landed right into the hotel busted up a lot of rooms people were killed and all that and my mom and dad was flying out the very next day and they were really tested I feel they had to tell this because you're going to be tested one day and you're gonna have to have another enough faith for that test and I said y'all gonna fly out that's what I asked my dad and all what happened he said well look we're not afraid we're going and 30 so they went and all of a sudden the pilot come on the speaker and said if there's listen to this now if anybody on this plane that knows how to pray y'all got to pray right now we're gonna have to make an emergency landing because it hits something some big bird whatever it was in the air and it did something to the plane they had to make an emergency landing I said huh my mom and dad was on that plane full of the Holy Ghost they knew how to touch the King of Kings higher than what the president was they went right to the throne and my mom said look we just said sit there real stiff and just 31 wish to a little prayer honey they started praying out loud Lord Land This Plane safely and guess what the plane landed safely I'm so thankful that my mom and dad was on that plane look they knew who to touch they were tested see just a day before the tragedy just happened in New Orleans but there they were but when I heard that does anybody on this plane knows how to pray pray now to be instant you have to touch God at the very moment because you never know what kind of test you're going to be put through and I just had to say that because look I was brought up with that and I know there's 32 times that we're tested and we have to just pray through that and when that comes look we know how to we know who to call on don't we [Music] man Hallelujah Hallelujah anybody on this plane know how to pray is anybody in this place knows how to pray is anybody in this place knows how to pray is anybody in this place knows how to pray hey we're living in perilous times right now the winds are blowing the power of the evil is spreading throughout this Earth as anybody know how to pray Hallelujah I do keep preaching okay I'm gonna let Mom do her song first I could listen to her preach all day 33 every day always tell her I want when I grow up I want to be just like you I used to play the piano a lot years and years ago I probably haven't played in 13 years sister Natalie and if you don't use it you lose it but when you're married to the best piano player in the whole world it's easy to say I'm not gonna play anymore and that's what I did so I started either playing something else or just standing up but either way tonight the Lord laid this song on my heart well for days I'm so thankful they found Carly I have prayed and I prayed and I prayed oh God please some way I don't see how it 34 can happen with my tangible eye but you know I called that baby's name out before the Lord for however long she's been gone and somebody tagged me in a group and they said sister Tiff please pray I need you to pray that they'll return her and that's what I did sister Tilly and as far as I know what somebody told me today they dropped her off at her house [Applause] [Laughter] there's power in prayer there's power in prayer and the Lord laid this song in my heart and I used to sing it when I was a little girl 35 years ago and yet the world is so much worse than it ever was then sister Justina 35 won't try to sing it if I mess up you know what I mess up whatever happened [Music] was faces [Music] time we took a closer look got back to living by the holy book The last part no compromise without getting slack we'll go forward if I Wanna Be True we're going back to [Music] you see the differences like day and night got to go back to things [Music] yeah you'll know a tree by the fruit that fruit that you see serving God has no in here coming up got us safely here and checked out the car but then again tonight when we was on our way I had to stop at the store and we had went a little ways and the air condition just was not working and it's like oh Lord you know I said I can't do this I said I want to go to church I want to be there with my family you know because y'all give me so much strip when we're here and the kids the kids just adore coming and love all yeah but um when I got out the car you know because they were saying well Nana Nana are we going are we going I said I want to go but um I had 40 the problem with my leg and I couldn't be in the heat again because I didn't have any more bandages change it but when I got out the car I seen the license plate that said thy will it was right behind me and I seen it and it said I will and I said thy will be done Lord you know Yahweh whatever you want me wherever you want me I said that's where I want to be I want your will not mine can I set out you know I said you know my heart and I said just I said Lord I just I Praise You In the storm and I just kept repeating that when I got to the before I got in the store Natalie called me and she 41 said man are the air conditions working it's cooling I just want to praise him you know and thank him for let me be here with my family I love all of y'all and like sister Tiffany mentioned you know thy will and I want that that's my heart I want you always will for these kids I want to raise them the right way I just want to give him give them all the Glory thank you wow wow wow grandmother bringing her grandchildren to church and I could get on a story like that in my life when we're little but we don't have time amen my grandmother yeah when we was little my dad died when I was four years 42 old and my grandmother helped to raise us to come in and help my mother but anyway she brought us little sibling three of us brought us to church down a dusty road we walked it was an easy life wasn't easy it was after the Depression and people were it wasn't easy to get food in that day even if you've ever been around that type of people but it wasn't easy to get anything and if you had any kind of sickness they brought you to the church they didn't bring it to the doctor and they gave you more castor oil than anything else I don't know if you ever took castor oil but that's the nastiest 43 stuff I ever seen and I remember when I was little I pretended to be sick and what my grandmother gave me was castor oil and I said I won't miss it another day [Music] [Applause] amen My Grandmother Had wisdom Amen brother come on my brother and preach Hallelujah can we give the Lord some praise tonight come on somebody can we stand to our feet and let him know that we love them and we want to worship him tonight Hallelujah father we praise you we give you honor in his house tonight Hallelujah you're so wonderful to us you're so wonderful and we thank you Lord hallelujah amen how's everybody 44 feeling y'all feeling good tonight anybody dancing shut their chains off you feel free break up that and follow ground ready for some word amen Hallelujah well we most certainly definitely honor uh our Bishop tonight and sister Kendrick and uh we honor uh Pastor Vaughn in his absence and sister Karen and all of our elders and a Cadre of preachers here tonight and uh that's right come on give it up for your own house Hallelujah and uh I honor my wife tonight she is my right arm and I tell you what when you're when you're worshiping and you have to lead worship uh starting the game is is part of 45 it but when you kind of back off and you have someone who can take up the slack and let anointing flow and continue on leading that that definitely becomes very valuable and I'm so thankful and honored for my bride who does such a wonderful job thank you Hallelujah amen and I'm so proud and and glad for the uh the anointing that is on her life and the example of a mother that she is always being towards our kids and so so thankful and honored Hallelujah tonight we're going to go to our turn to second Samuel nine three through 11. 46 the spirit of the Lord will speak through his word tonight and in this certain place we're going to find that there is a fine weaving like a needle in a thread that goes in and out because you're going to find that there is a turning a moving a movement that is being posed in the perfect timing of God and in this transition as it weaves how David has come to a certain place not only in his life but in his kingdom you're going to see the fabricated uh portion of what God has laid out for his life to be interwoven into God's tapestry tonight So reading there verse 3 we're going to see that it 47 says and the King said is there not yet any of the House of Saul that I may shoe the kindness of God unto him and Ziva said unto the king Jonathan hath yet a son which is lame on his feet and the King said unto him where is he and Ziva said unto the king behold he is in the house of Makar the son of Emil in lodibar the King David sent and fetched him out of the house of Makar the son of Emil from lodibar now when servant do as for mephibosheth said the king he shall eat at my table as one of the king's Sons dear precious and holy father we lift up tonight Lord the reading of your holy word we pray right now that it finds not only good ground but ground that has been plowed up and chilled and ready to receive this word father we thank you Lord that you have given us this opportunity to not only to hear 50 your voice through your word Lord but to receive something that you would have us to hear that your word is not only saying but living inside of us dear precious father we lift up this tonight to you and we give you praise and everybody said amen on your way down high five somebody and tell them I am glad to be in his service tonight there we go Bishop we had to get that in [Music] Hallelujah Hallelujah I don't know about y'all but when you wear a lot of hats you're constantly thinking in five different directions I know that was a bit of a lengthy reading tonight but I want to take you to a 51 place that has not only been orchestrated and put into motion but you're going to find like we said earlier that David was put into position that where he is weaving into the perfect tapestry of God's orchestrated plan if we walk through the the life of David you were going to find that David was a man that in this point in time in the scripture he was a man that was it was always put that God had said about him that he was a man after his own heart but most importantly one of the biggest things and if you begin to execute and perpetuate the word of God right here you're going to find that he 52 is always said that he is Anointed let that sink in that he is Anointed David will begin to walk through the fact that he is Anointed and when you're anointed you're going to find that you're going to be attacked see the anointing came three different times for David the first time you find yourself about a a 15 year old boy where the prophet Samuel comes in and anoints him he was the eighth son of Jesse the one that was leased to be favored David found himself in a situation that he was anointed prior to his appointment to kingship and when you find yourself being anointed before being 53 appointed it feels like there can be a little bit of a personal struggle on the inside because like I said anointing comes before the appointing just because God anointed David to be king does it mean yet that he is going to be how many of us have found ourselves being anointed and feeling like okay I'm ready to go take on this new job but the job has yet to catch up to the anointing that God has placed on you you're going to find yourself feeling a feeling of contradiction because the minute that David was anointed the minute that he was anointed he's back into the fields shoveling up 54 sheepdong and there's a push in a pool because the anointing that he was feeling dripping off of him physically and the one that he felt that he was having inside of him spiritually probably put him in a push and pull feeling like is contradicting itself like I'm anointed to be king but why am I back here in the fields having to do this and you could probably understand that in the the story in the biblical text we will find that David he goes and he's obedient he goes right back to doing what he was told to do and the anointing that he was feeling physically and spiritually was beginning to 55 take a lesson upon his life he was being impressed by listening and trying to understand exactly what he's supposed to do you see when you're anointed it you're going to find yourself being attacked you're going to find yourself being in positions that you didn't put yourself in but God began to weave you into certain situations because it's it's where the very first thing that you that you hear next because when I said that David was anointed he was anointed first at 15 years old a boy but then get into third 15 years later at the age of 30. 56 he's then anointed the king of Judah and then later on after that the king of Israel there were three anointings but in between every single moment of Triumph there was always an attack there was always a battle and you skip a few years ahead of when he was first anointed you're going to find that the first point in time that you see that David would rise up was because of a battle it's when Goliath the Philistine decided to take and put the army of Israel to the test how many knows that it's going to be a battle that brings forth your anointing for what you're called to do when you see the 57 battle coming that's when you're going to have to start understanding okay there's something bigger at work here that's when the promotion begins to start happening it's because why there's a battle always in front of the mountain that you're climbing up there's always a battle [Applause] now if you'll be patient with me tonight we're going to set a foundation because it was it was during the battle that where David being anointed he found himself in and out of situations that begin to put him not in a place of prominence but in a place where he began to have to duck because people are trying 58 to kill him he's having to put himself in a situation where everything that he goes and tries to do someone's always around him to undo it and try to stab him in the back he found himself just doing what he's called and anointed to do he is playing the harp and then suddenly he he feels a spear start to come right at him why because the attack on the anointing is real he feels these attacks he's in every situation because he is faced why why is he being faced with all this it's because of the anointing so many times growing up in church Bishop Kendrick and sister Kendrick can attest to this 59 from our background when you get anointed in the bishop or the pastor lays hands on you there is this this you have this moment of of power that hits you but so many times we don't recognize the ship that it's not just because you've been empowered to go do something that you're ready to do it how many times has many people been anointed to go past her or preach or become very prominent in a position but they have yet to get to the point of maturity to take on that calling so David has a lot having to go through Bishop that is beginning to mature him that's beginning to understand that his 60 muscles need to be worked out he's going to have to start flexing he's going to have to start understanding his wit being strong because many times we read in the Bible when we see through the biblical texts that's being perpetuated through the word of God that the things that David goes through you read it and you think he's crazy he's a murderer an adulterer he lies he even acts like he's crazy he's being brought in to an enemy camp and he knows that if he goes and says anything contrary to acting crazy that they would have killed him how's that for being anointed you walk right into the 61 enemy's camp and if you don't think of something quick just because your anointed doesn't mean you're going to live through it you can be anointed and be dumb but he was put through the test and it may have been the stupidest most dumbest thing and I don't know if that's even correct English right now but I'm going to say it like you would if you were in the country that was just plain out dumb playing out dumb but he gets up on this moment and decides he's going to fall out and start frothing at the mouth now there was a belief back then and it still happened and today that if you act like 62 you're possessed they will leave you alone because if they touch you they believe that all you're in uh that you're possessed by many devils and so they stay away he knew this quickly recognized a moment to act and play dumb and guess what it worked but David doesn't find himself in this moment of having to use grit iron strength and ducking and living in caves and having to find himself pushing and hiding and constantly fighting Wars that are always around him simply be for the fact that he is Anointed simply for the fact that everything that he tends to do everything that he tends to touch 63 Saul's always trying to undo it preached a message one time that said that the catfish are in the tank for you Saul was the catfish to David [Applause] so where we read the text has it's not a mistake that we find ourselves coming into this point of the story where we begin to see that David is not running for his life and he's not having to live in caves he's not having to take in following his wits act like he's crazy David is actually in a place of prominence he's in a place of kingship don't make the mistake just because that's where we came into the story that that's where it began amen 64 we live in a town we used to live in a town and this town is considered to be the Hollywood of the South if anybody knows where it's at it's where they shoot tons of Netflix specials it's where they shot the Dukes of Hazard it's where they shot uh all the In the Heat of the Night specials I got some amens over here this side right here is showing me some love so I'm loving that right it's where all of your favorite movies are probably shot and you didn't know it but one thing that we have there is not just the fact that it's a movie town we also have the fact that we run into several different 65 uh producers movie cast extras all of them work all over the town and when I get in the conversation with them and ask them how's it going then we've become friends over the years they led me into a simple fact when I asked them about the process of shooting even a movie or a TV series and that is that they always shoot the last scene first when you watch a movie you watch a television series always know that the last scene that you see at the end of that movie was shot first because everything leads up to what the end is supposed to be that's why the word says he knows you're ending from the 66 beginning because he knows what the last scene looks like so he knows what the beginning is going to start out like can I get somebody to talk to me tonight I know this is going a little slow tonight but we need to we need to take the ride because at some point we need to start understanding what we're doing and where we're at and what he's trying to do inside of us and I want y'all to know that David now is in a place of prominence as we said before he's in a place of kingship where he lives like a king he lives in a place that actually used to belong to someone else and in his moment of 67 being a king where he's dining he's eating the best food he's wearing the best threads he is smelling the best he's got the best cologne he's got Calvin Klein on or Tommy Hilfiger or some kind of Versace going on he is shopping and wearing the best clothes that Neiman Marcus could probably put out if Neiman Marcus existed back then but he didn't start out that way amen the moment of being a king takes you to a place that he appreciated every single stage that he went through and that every time he began to sit down at the king's table he understood what the price that he had to pay to get 68 there when you're anointed and you're called of God you're going to see that every single thing that you had to go through it was all worth it why because you had to pay a price it was the Lonely Nights it was the moments where you thought that you were down and out and you didn't had no choice and it was the moments that you thought that you were alone and you were crying and you're being crushed but you had to go through it yeah [Applause] because the anointing is not free I said the anointing is not free there's a price attached to it it's free of laying on the hands but everything that you 69 have to go through from start to finish it costs you something [Applause] people will talk about you they will post things about you that is not true and they will have the audacity to get up in other people's faces and say that it is and not only that they will come in and try to interweave themselves just like God does with his perfect plan and then try to call that God be why because they're jealous of the anointing that is on your life when a call to eldership guess what things begin to change it's no longer easy selling it's no longer it's easy street now you have trials and tribulations 70 people talking about you people gonna say something about you why because the anointing is on your life David was anointed and had to face every devil in hell to protect it look at somebody and say I'm fighting it right now David had to get away from his own troubles his own trials that he went through and we find him in this setting in the text that puts him in a place to be able not only to overlook things that he has went through but he is now looking at what he can do David went to zaiba one of Saul's top servants and asked is there anybody ill alive from the house of Saul and Jonathan and 71 zaiba quickly begin to say that there was one thank you that was left behind and In This Moment David's heart leaps with joy he finds find joy in the fact that he heard that there is one that is still alive because Bishop they were going around and killing everybody that was a part of the old King's house as harsh as it sounds that was part of the tradition is that you kill off the lineage that was attached to the one that used to be in charge that way that when the king is going forth in their kingship there will not be any air to rise up and try to overthrow the kingdom again but he said to 72 zaiba is there one and he said yes there is one there's one left and he asked who was it how many of us have felt like everybody has forsaken us but you're the one that has been left behind zaiba said there is one left and he asked who is it and he said his name is mephibosheth in mephibosheth in his time as a five-year-old little boy the text reveals earlier on that in the haste to get out of those who were attacking the King's kids and all of his lineage that his caretaker scooped him up and begin to run hastily to get out of there to protect him but in her haste she dropped in her haste she 73 let him fall if he had not been dropped he may have been killed but he became afflicted in his feet and in his legs he was dropped at the point where he thought he was safe he was dropped trying to hurry up and get out of there to save her life and his life she was dropped on his legs and crippled from the very beginning and it wasn't even his fault she dropped him how many of us have been dropped how many of us were taken to a place where we were dropped it may have not been what you asked for but something that happened to you maybe that was a situation that you trusted somebody and then in 74 the middle of the night someone snuck into your room as a little boy or a little girl and they begin to drop you what if it was a a little boy that was showing things and exposed to things that he was not supposed to be exposed to but somebody dropped him how many times has that happened to somebody where you feel like you're supposed to be safe in the arms of somebody and guess what out of haste and out of moving and out of life something happens and you get dropped who am I talking to here tonight that you've been dropped there have been situations where a parent dropped you there have been 75 things that happen to you where somebody in your company dropped you or somebody in the ministry dropped you and all the time he thought you were supposed to be safe and you got dropped I want to take you to the place that I know that this isn't probably one of those shout messages and this isn't one of those times where you feel like you can just get up and shout but sometimes we got to go to the place where we were dropped so that he can heal us because every time that we think that we're above it and that we're going to keep going on we find ourselves always feeling dropped and in that 76 dropping we were crippled and we were led into trouble and we were led into things and exposed to situations that were beyond our control but we were dropped and it wasn't even our fault but I remember what the word in Psalms 119 and 71 says he said it is good for me that I was afflicted the psalmist said it is good is good for me that I was afflicted it was good for me that in my affliction God began to save my life the very thing that you were crippled for and through begins to actually work in your life and begins to say you know what I might be this way but if it wasn't for my Affliction I 77 would not be standing here because you know what I may have needed that job I may have needed that promotion I may have not needed that divorce I may have not needed that bad relationship I may have not needed that bad moment that happened to me but it was good that I was afflicted look at somebody and tell them say it is good David asked Ziva where is mephibosheth and zaiba said he's in lodibar and I can see in the text View s that David a mighty man of Valor a man after God's Own Heart quickly turns his head and I'm paraphrased right here but he says lodibar with a question mark and zaiba 78 says yes lodibar lodavar is a place that means no communication in lodibar there are no sheep buying and horses grazing and there is no livestock there is nothing it is a place of being quiet it is a place where people will go to just shut up because when mephibosheth had to flee and he had to get out of what used to be his home he then had to go to a place where he had to keep his head down he had to go to a place that he had to learn to just shut up and be quiet it was a place that if we compared it to anything else it would be a ghetto it would be Ashanti it would be a shack and in the 79 modern day name that it was given was called nothingville place of nothing look at somebody tonight behind you beside you in front of you I don't care who it is I'm now giving you the text preference and reference to tonight's sermon it's called leaving nothingville come on turn to somebody in your living rooms tonight won't you turn to somebody move your coffee table out of the way and tell them say I'm leaving nothingville tonight now in lodibar there is nothing fun about being in lodavar lodibar is a place of desolation it's a place where it would be I guess she could probably say not just 80 a ghetto but it would be a desert there is nothing there is nothing to communicate there's nothing to say there is nothing that will give you life when you're talking about lodibar because lodibar is that place that you can't go and say anything it is that book that you wanted to write that you can't it's the story that you want to tell that you cannot tell it's the place that when you think of it all you can do is hang your head and shake and say oh my God lodibar is a place of nothingville it is a place of no communication and in this place how many times have we seen ourselves get to the 81 point where we have been pushed and put aside and you know what he said you know it's just best if I come over here and just learn to just be quiet learn to shut up and learn to keep my mouth shut because I'm living in lodovar it is a place that you don't feel like you can say or do anything but yet we used to continue to stay there why because it's a safe place to be it was safe for mephibosheth to stay there it was the norm it's the place where he found his not on his Solace but his sanctity away from what could have or might have happened to him circumstances can push you into lotabar that 82 job promotion that you thought that you should have got can put you into a place of moving and sliding into lodibar that family member that you were dealing with for years can finally break through and push you into lodibar those things that happen to you years ago when you were dropped has pushed you in to lodibar where all you know how to do is just keep quiet keep your mouth shut and just sit still circumstances can push you in to lodibar when we judge people we find ourselves asking them in and finding out who they are because we meet them for the first time at where they're at we find 83 ourselves meeting people that were drove by circumstances beyond their control into lodibar good amen and not only do we judge them but we begin to ask the question what happened to you there's a generation today that when they meet people they'll meet them where they're at they'll find where you're at instead of asking another question they asked the question what happened to you why is the question they should be asking why are you in lodibar why are you in the place of nothing why are you in the place of no communication but instead they say what happened to you they fail to ask the proper 84 question and then say why did you end up but they asked what so many times we find ourselves asking the what instead of why because if we ask why we'll answer the question of what happened and when we talk to people we need to have The Compassion to understand that those circumstances that drove them to lodibar that drove them into a place of being nothing that drove them into a place of shutting down and silencing their voice is a place where we need to start and say oh how can I help you how can I be kind to you because I see that there is something beyond your control that happened that put 85 you in Lone in the haste of getting away must be the chef was dropped this is the point that we have established early on in the text message was supposed to be he is the grandson of Saul who was mighty and Valor and tall the first king of Israel and his son Jonathan was esteemed to be a covenant keeper with David and the word says He was great to look be looked upon he was matter of fact I'll paraphrase the Bible says that he was a gorgeous person but none of that mattered the circumstances of the day dictated a situation that began to weave its way into a different place and time for not 86 only David but mephibosheth because raspa his grandmother was out there the day that Saul and Jonathan were killed the Bible says that she planted herself out there near the dead bodies in the middle of every weather condition and every rainstorm and possibly every tornado and possibly every hail storm that came and was out there staying and standing guard over Jonathan and Saul keeping away the birds the fowl of the air and anything that would try to come up to it and creep and try to eat it she would just shoo it away holding on to something that was dead how many of us are holding on to 87 dead things that weigh us down things that should have been let go where the word says Let the dead bury the dead but we're holding on to it and we're just like raspa we're trying to shoe everything away and all because we just want to hold on but it didn't do any good to hold on and now out of haste mephibosheth was dropped how many parents do I have in here tonight I have a bunch how many of us in our parenting have halfway possibly or have done dropped one of our children you've dropped them and then before you know it you're trying to count toes and fingers and you're trying to calm the 88 baby and you don't know if if I should rock it if I should just try to keep it calm you don't want the baby to go to sleep because you don't want you know something to happen and then you got to run to the hospital you're you're flipping out in your mind you're like oh my god what have I just done I just killed my baby and you're going crazy why because you dropped why why is this situation any different being dropped does not feel good but what are you supposed to do when you were dropped and it wasn't even your fault you were dropped and it wasn't your fault you were dropped and it wasn't 89 your fault someone was probably molested and it wasn't your fault somebody probably was mistreated and it wasn't your fault somebody probably cut you off in the family and it wasn't your fault somebody probably told a lie on you and it wasn't your fault somebody misrepresented the truth and it wasn't your fault in the whole time everything that's happening where someone Bishop tries to probably get out but they're so afraid of the fear that is facing them to just make the first move they're afraid to take that first step to cry out and they're afraid to take that first step where they're being 90 dropped continually in their life you may have been dropped when you're five years old and when you're a child it's okay everybody wants to gather around you and say it's okay baby it's okay I understand you're hurt right now you want to love on them but what do you do when you become the adult you're in an adult body you have grown up hormones have begin to flourish through your body and you're now a mature walking adult but you're a child still inside every time something happens it takes you right back to the place that you were when you were five six seven eight nine years old and you're 91 feeling dropped you're feeling like you're being betrayed and you're feeling like you're stuck in circumstances I've dictated that you get pushed into lodibar nothing veal many of us have experienced where we've been dropped continually and we're adults now we're grown up but it awakens that inner child that never got healed it awakens the wounds that never were bandaged up it begins to scratch the itch of being hurt all over again and in in the military there are a lot of people who come out with PTSD that in a moment of chaos it's either fight or flight and they're either going to flee from 92 the situation or they're going to fight and most times they want to fight why because there's something on the inside that says I've got to get out of lodibar I've got to keep fighting I can't keep doing this but they don't know how to because it's a place of no communication nothing deal can take your voice how many of us have been there you've been struggling with an addiction you've been struggling with things that have come your way that you didn't ask you for it to come into your life you're trying to get out and you're trying to scream but you can't you're trying to get to the place 93 where you can say something but you you can't even get out of shout because you're put in a place where you have to keep your mouth shut in nothing Phil load a bar I don't know about you but when you're dropped the next time that you feel that you're being put in a position of trying to get out and you don't have a voice sometimes all we can do is pray amen because in being dropped you may have moved on with your career you may have moved on with the things that plagued your mind plagued your body pledged your family plagued your situation but you're always feeling stuck you're feeling like 94 I'm going through but are you really are we really getting to the root of what pushed Us in to nothingville are we really beginning to address what put us back to that moment were things that happened to us should have not happened things that were said to us should have not been said are we really getting there to address it and say you know what I can overcome this I can open up my mouth I can really let out a shout why because I'm going to get out of nothingville tonight I'm going to open up my mouth and I'm going to shout I'm going to shout and I'm going to shout to the walls fall down 95 because when the children of Israel begin to walk around the city of Jericho they begin to shout until the walls fall down they begin to shout until the walls fall down who am I talking to you begin to shout until the walls fall down going through I don't care what you're going through right now because if you just lift up your voice and begin to shout you'll begin to see that the walls of ludovar will Begin to Fall I don't know about you but I feel like shouting tonight I feel like going ahead and pushing forward because I'm not going to stay stuck in lonobar anymore I'm not going to stay 96 stuck in nothingville anymore that divorce is not going to Define my life that divorce is not going to set my path that situation that blocked me from my promotion isn't going to stop me who am I talking who didn't I date can I get a witness and somebody who knows that they know that they know that they know that greater is he that is in you than he that is in the come on somebody give them a shot of praise tonight [Applause] I'm not going to stay stuck in nothingville AKA lodibar when you feel dropped for the first time many Touch the hymn of this garment I will be made whole I will be taken out a load a bar I will be brought out of nothingville I will see my circumstance change I will get healing in my heart my issue of that you're needing in your body it might be a situation that you need 98 God to work out for you it might be a family situation that you need him to heal it might be finances I don't know what it is but if you can get enough courage and enough Faith to say you know what I might be crawling to get there but if I can just touch His Garment if I can just get enough just touch I just might get out of lodibar I just might get out of nothing in my screams and my Shout will be heard my scream and my Shout will be heard it might have been a parent who wronged you chose you Bishop over somebody else in the family they may have labeled you the black sheep in the family you 99 have not been of the the one that always caught the brunt in of the situation every time you turn around it seems like it was always your fault and nobody else's and those people that claim to love you just like the caregiver for mephibosheth dropped him they dropped you amen and now you're crippled you can't walk the same way you can't talk the same way and you find yourself running probably into the arms of another woman or into the arms of another man or through the arms of addiction because the very arms that you were supposed to be safe in they dropped you and you were left with nothing 100 pushed into the serious times of Oblivion never to be heard from again I'm here to tell you that the devil he wants to push you into that place of nothing Veil he wants to put a mask over your face that way that the sheep can be silent he wants to put a muzzle on you that you can never scream again because he thinks she has you in a place of no communication but if you will just get to that point but if I can just touch I will begin to be made whole that situation will begin to be woven into a way that God orchestrated the tapestry that it was placed in that it would be made whole the blood is 101 she will be made whole Bishop the situation in my finances will be made whole who am I talking to here tonight the hole in my heart from when I was mistreated as a kid will be made whole that promotion that I was passed over it will be made whole somebody that's in your living room right now you're going to be made whole why because he is going to touch you and move in your life and he's going to get you out of lodibar watch a half off somebody and say I'm getting out of nothingville [Applause] say it Zai but that your servants and all the Servants of Saul they will eat in the house of Saul now there's a difference between eating in the house than eating at the table because last time I heard what the Bible says it says that he will prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies [Applause] I'm eating at the table it doesn't stop there because when he told cyber to go and get mephibosheth get him out and begin to sweep him out of lodavar AKA nothingville he had to go pick him up and how many knows that it is it's unnatural it's natural to tote a kid a baby but how many knows 104 it's a little unnatural to have to told a man I could see that mephibosheth having to be carried sometimes when we're dropped we have to be carried it's a little uncomfortable but we have to be carried I know that it hurts and it might be a little against our pride but we had to be carried to a certain point we had to be carried back to where we're supposed to be at the table but how did mephibosheth feel when he had to get back into the arms of someone that promised him safety getting back into someone who claims to keep them safe when he was in the arms of someone that said the same thing 105 his caregiver even an accident still dropped him and now he's at the point that he has to climb back into the arms of someone else who was saying that they're going to protect him and they're taking him to a place of safety they're taking him to a place where he's supposed to be treated with a dignity and all the admiration that a king deserves the prince of Israel was dropped how can his heart Trust someone to not drop him again but King David said bring Jeff to my table and sent him around the table where Absalom sitting you're even going to probably see some other familiar faces bring him 106 and sit him at my table because for the rest of his days the deed to the land that he used to own the things that were taken away from him and the things that were stripped from him his title his land his Prosperity his voice his story his ability to do things all in one moment and a moment of suddenly was restored to him and given him back the rightful place to sit at the king's table right where he belonged he came out of lodabar he came out of nothingville and was set there and you know what it wasn't the fact that church that he got sent just at the king's table because from the from the 107 from the waist up he sits there and he looks exactly like everybody else he looks like King David he looks like Absalom he looks like Ahmad he looks like the rest of his sisters that were sitting around the table with the Kindred folks but from the waist down he may have been wounded and lean but guess what no one saw what was happening underneath the table no one saw what was happening underneath the table because God said I'm going to prepare a table to hide all your infirmities because you can still up and run you can still say I'm going to claim my blessing you can still reach out and say 108 but if I can touch the heel of His Garment I will be made whole I will see a victory I will see things happen I'm going to see Things fall down and things rise up right because I've got the victory somebody shot in this place tonight [Applause] Psalms 51 and 8. 109 I love it when it says that the bones that thou last were broken they may Rejoice so if you're filled with a situation in your life where you feel crippled Psalms 51 and 8 says you might be crippled but you can still Rejoice you can still shout you can still open up your voice and say I'm going to bless him at all times I'm gonna see a victory I'm gonna see something happen I'm gonna see some walls fall down and I'm gonna see things happen for my life because he promised it to me somebody give him a shot of praise tonight [Music] I'm coming out of nothingville and I'm going to rejoice even if 110 my feet are crippled even if it wasn't my fault situation that I didn't ask for come to my door give him your heart and you can give them your soul and you can begin to open up your mouth and declare that you're not going to stay stuck in Lodo bar you're not going to stay stuck in nothing feel that divorce is not going to Define you that lost house that you had that you thought there was going to be 111 yours is not going to Define you the things that have happened to me the afflictions that have happened to me it is good that I was afflicted and you know what I'm going to keep going to be afflicted in the future so I'm going to go ahead and open up my mouth and I'm going to praise him in the storm because great is he come on can I get somebody to talk to me tonight because I know that I know that I know that if I give it all to him he is the master of the Wind he is the master of the Wind he is the master Carpenter of the table that he has built for me to sit at he is the master creator of 112 my future my present in my past he shot my last movie in the very beginning at
