We're on the priestly calendar. So, our Passover is always a day earlier than the Jews Passover because of the 14th of Ov and the 15th of Av. So even though I understood last year at last Passover how to correctly calculate everything, one thing that always I just could not get it. Where I wanted it was on our calendar, we always have the blood >> before the death. And even though I understand we're on the Zedekite calendar and he did drink the or present the blood on the 14th correctly, I just had a thing in my brain that kept saying, "How can you have blood if the lamb is not dead yet?". >> Okay, I don't know if that's ever bothered you before, but it always was in the back of my brain. I have struggled for years over this timing issue because I c I didn't know how you could have the blood without because he didn't die till the next day which was the 15th of O. But if you'll go back and read your Bible carefully, it tells you that in the evening you are to kill that lamb and get the blood. It does not tell you when you have to apply it to the doorpost. Watch this. As long as midnight don't sneak up on you because he said at midnight. I'm going to send the death angel as long as you apply the blood before midnight. You can't have Passover before you suffer. You got to suffer first. Where does it say that? That we automatically think you got to suffer first. This establishes that he ate the meal at the proper time before sunset. The way we've been doing it for years, Tuesday night, read Matthew 26:28. Listen to what he said. Matthew 26:28.
