see this phrase I do not understand and look what Solomon describes he describes three things he says the way of the eagle in the sky the way of a serpent on a rock and the way of a ship on the high seas think about those things that's an interesting combination something in the air something on the land something on the sea and then the fourth thing he says is the way of a man with a virgin you can be seated we're going to go off that we're going to build off of this passage what do these three things that he mentions 2 have in common well let me give you a clue there's a big difference in a serpent on a rock and a serpent in sand three of these things don't leave a trail to follow you can't follow the path of an eagle in the sky it doesn't leave a trail same thing with a serpent same thing with a ship on the high season finally the way of a man with a woman every every man in here can probably tell you an amazing story about how he won his wife we could probably go around and give testimonies and it would be fantastic it would be beautiful it would 3 be wonderful but you know what you can't follow in your Father's Footsteps to a woman the same way he did there's too much there's too many differences I mean what would you do my goodness what if you found a woman who was allergic to chocolate oh what would you do what would you do if she thinks flowers smell terrible we would be lost let me tell you a true story I proposed to my wife uh just below Times Square uh I'm a small City guy Pastor put me up in my first Uber that was really cool uh for for 30 minutes I was a captive 4 audience to my wonderful Uber driver Denise if you're watching hey uh who we had a wonderful conversation about Theology and once saved always saved and what happens when a person dies and how do they get where they want to go oh yeah we got uh we got our money's worth out of that drive yeah but uh anyway so I took my wife to the big city we went up to New York we saw a Broadway show all this kind of stuff I don't want to tell that story but after we walked through Times Square just just kids you know we're barely teenagers we're barely 20 at this point 5 uh I sneak into Bryant Park which is below Times Square and it was closed off you weren't supposed to go there but I had a big idea so We snuck in below the fence and um you know I got down on my knee and popped the question and all that and her reaction almost got me arrested okay when she saw it she screamed and you know got all excited and everything and the next thing I know I see NYPD running and flashlights and hey you're not supposed to be in here and I very nearly got cuffed and put on the ground until he showed up and realized I wasn't 6 attacking this lovely young lady then she wound up saying uh handed him a camera and saying you know take a picture of us if you would officer and we've had that you know picture frame for for all the years since we've been married it was it was a beautiful thing let me tell you what worked for me it's probably not a good idea for you okay uh you might think you should take your lady to a fine Steakhouse seems like a nice thing to do for a date well my wife has a painting of a cow with a crown of flowers in our kitchen so we don't eat a 7 lot of steak at The Wider house okay it's probably part of why I've been so skinny bless me let me tell you a wise man when a man he will spend his very last dime this is not in Proverbs by the way trying to hold on to what she needs to what he needs he'd give up all his Comforts and sleep out in the rain if that's the way she said it ought to be if she is bad he can't see it she can do no wrong turn his back on his best friend if you put her down anybody heard that before well tonight I'd like to tell you the 8 way of Yahweh with his people is too wonderful to comprehend like Solomon said about a man and his virgin it cannot be understood it cannot be explained all we can do is quote Elvis Presley and say take me to your heart for it's there that I belong and will never part and we're gonna get some scripture in just a second I just want to tell you that the appointed times of Yahweh tell a story so beautiful and so powerful it will make the Hallmark Channel cry okay we're going to talk about that tonight have you ever heard the gospel pitched in this way let's start with Passover 9 so the nation of Israel catches his eye now what does a man do when he finds a woman that he's interested in he dresses up as best as he can he you know sticks his chest out sprays a little Tommy are you still doing that and he proceeds to show her all his wonders right why should you pick me over the next guy let me tell you Yahweh flexed so hard on the gods of Egypt Israel asked Yahweh which way is it to the promised land and he said oh the Promised Land let me tell you it's right over here oh and let me open the door for you why 10 oh yeah oh yeah you talk about paying the bride price how is this for an engagement present we were talking earlier about Abraham when he was trying to score a bride for his son you know the story he sent his servant loaded with ten camels full of goodies he put a ring in Rebecca's nose he put bracelets on her arm and he asked her a question he said who's your daddy that's how that got started but Yahweh on the other hand he said tell you what I'll redeem the whole nation and what happened Pharaoh said nah ah She's Mine yeah how many wars have been how many 11 wars haven't been fought over a woman my goodness you know what Yahweh said he said I will fight the entire Pantheon of Egypt you call all your friends Pharaoh meet me in the parking lot bring the sun with you while you're at it you know we sang a song in in my wedding you've heard it before when you love someone you know that line it says you'll shoot the Moon put out the sun Yahweh said yeah I actually did that for three days I made it so dark they felt it by the time they were done when Yahweh showed how far he was willing to go for 12 his lady Egypt rolled out the red carpet and said get out of here right not only that Yahweh said oh by the way here's all the gold and silver of Egypt and some fancy clothes too they plundered their enemies and nobody picked up a sword let me tell you that's a good way to get a woman's attention yeah Hallelujah has anybody ever heard of the five love languages show of hands yeah a lot of people have heard of that do any of the ladies in here know your husband's Love Languages because I do we don't have to ask because all men are like puppies what do we want tell us we're a good boy 13 Pat us on the head [Applause] [Laughter] words of affirmation physical touch all the brothers in the house Say Amen what do women want if I knew that I would be speaking in a Coliseum tonight after having flown in on my own private jet but let me tell you I do know this my mom had a magnet on the fridge when I was growing up it said Mom likes hugs moms likes kisses what Mom would really like is help with the dishes so I hear the Applause from the the moms in the house the moms and the wives yeah what's that that's acts of service and now my wife has a son in the 14 bathroom it says we aim to keep this bathroom clean your aim will help so my mom and my wife have that in common okay there's two others you probably know there's receiving of gifts and quality time now I'm going somewhere with this my son he just wants something new he would he would like a Happy Meal toy or a four-wheeler but what I know is whatever I give him tomorrow he's gonna want something different anybody got any kids like that and my my sweet daughter my oldest she just wants to spend quality time with me which is very sweet she doesn't care what we're doing she just wants to hang 15 out with her dad and then I have a three-year-old and the only thing that makes her happy is eating so I don't remember eating of foods among the Love Languages but hey but whatever works right all right so why do I bring this up I bring this up because generally speaking these Love Languages this is how we as humans show love for each other right one or more of these things fill up our love Banks okay but does Yahweh love his people does he love his people in this way I want to give you some words of affirmation Isaiah 43 reads just like a love letter 16 let me give you some scripture from Isaiah 43 thus says Yahweh o Israel I have redeemed you I have called you by name you are mine you are precious in my eyes and honored and I love you when you pass through the waters I will be with you when you walk through fire you shall not be burned you are my chosen people the people I formed for myself that they might declare my praise how beautiful is that you know if we looked in that Bible I think that Pastor has in his car the original King James 1611 Bible is so beautiful I think if you look in the 17 bottom of that chapter you have to have the old copy to see it but there's uh there are two check boxes and it says if you feel the same way check yes or no yeah y'all remember wow y'all remember sending those sweet sweet Crush back in the day let me appeal to the brothers for a little bit that was a sweet message from the father but now let me pump you up with Isaiah 41 8 through 16. you want some words of affirmation man this will make you want to go to war all right but you Israel my servant Jacob whom I have chosen The Offspring 18 of Abraham my friend you whom I took from the ends of the Earth and called from its farthest Corners saying to you you are my servant I have chosen you and not cast you off fear not for I Am With You do not be dismayed for I am your God I will strengthen you I will help you I will uphold you with my righteous right hand behold all who are incensed against you shall be put to shame and confounded Hallelujah those who strive against you will be as nothing and they Shall Perish you shall seek those who contend with you but you will not find them those who 19 war against you shall be as nothing at all for I Yahweh your Elohim hold your right hand Hallelujah it is I who say to you fear not I am the one who helps you fear not you worm Jacob you men of Israel I am the one who helps you declares Yahweh your redeemer is the Holy One of Israel it gets even better listen to this behold I make of you a threshing Sledge new sharp and having teeth man this don't pump you up you shall thresh the mountains and crush them and you shall make the heels like chaff you will winnow them in the wind 20 shall carry them away and the Tempest shall scatter them and then you shall rejoice in Yahweh in the Holy One of Israel you shall Glory my goodness that's fantastic can we give the Lord a praise hey I feel affirmed when I read that thank you Father he is after us hallelujah I would read some stuff from The Song of Solomon but we have some young people here basically there's some stuff in there about teeth like goat's milk uh something about some gazelles and a garden okay that's that's the bottom line is Yahweh loves his and as we just saw he does not mind saying it 21 I think we could learn something from this uh it would be really good for us all to look at each other and not be ashamed to say something sweet like Solomon 4 2 lightly paraphrased it says your teeth are all in your mouth not one is missing not everybody can say that to their spouse I'm not going to go through any more of the Love Languages but I tell you that's a really cool study to look in the word and try to find where he does all of these things for his people Yahweh really does check all the boxes to show Israel that he is in Hot Pursuit giving 22 of gifts I already told you he just gave Israel all the gold and silver of Egypt you want quality time have you ever pitched The Exodus this way listen to this he plans a surprise getaway from her day job he dresses her in the finest clothes of Egypt feeds are bred from heaven and takes her to a land that flows with milk and honey check check check check what lady doesn't want a man like that right yeah and then what do you do when you find the right one and you've fallen in love if you like it then you should have what where are the holy people at 23 I was going to ask who wants to pretend like you don't know that yeah right here you put a ring on it why because this is we're talking about this earlier this one is taken it's a sign of an agreement between a couple of people you know what another word for agreement is yeah that's right a covenant an engagement ring is a sign of the Covenant you want to hear something beautiful you know what the sign of the Covenant is between Yahweh and Israel I bet you do Exodus 31 12-16 listen to this and Yahweh said to Moses you are to speak to the people of 24 Israel and say only time you'll find this in the Bible as well above all you shall keep my sabbaths and it's plural all right I see a people that are keeping the sabbaths tonight for this is a sign between me and you throughout your Generations why that you may know that I Yahweh sanctify you you shall keep the Sabbath because it is Holy for you that's right you know and everyone who profans it shall be put to death he takes this thing seriously doesn't he whoever does any work on it that Soul shall be cut off six days you do your work but the seventh day is a 25 day of rest he says I want you to observe the sabbath throughout your Generations as a covenant forever forever how long is forever yeah Ezekiel 12 verse 20 backs it up he says moreover I gave them my sabbaths as a sign between me and them that they might know that I'm Yahweh who sanctifies them they're just like a ring okay even the way Yahweh words it I believe he's he says it in this way it's like I gave them a ring as a sign between us I'm telling you I know because you all know when a person gets it when they see it when they find the joy of the Sabbath 26 you know what I see I see a room full of people that remind me of every newly engaged woman you see on the internet what do you see when somebody gets engaged you see a big smile you see a hand extended see my ring see my ring oh yeah that's what I'm talking about Hallelujah consider this in this community of people and we are all trying to be those saints that the Book of Revelation talks about there's two criteria those who keep the Commandments of God and those who have the testimony of Yeshua I see some people that are trying to meet that criteria tonight 27 it's good to be among you Hallelujah well let me tell you in these tribes that we're all in we have we have some differences we have some things that we disagree on and we tend to disagree quite passionately uh which is why I love I got the concentrated version of the discern the body in the ride to the land and I'm telling you what a timely appropriate message for the body today Hallelujah did you enjoy that I enjoyed it yeah [Applause] well what are some what are some of the dumb things that we you know want to divide over you better say it like I say 28 it if you want to be friends you better keep it when I keep it how many stars did you count before you lit those candles what color blue is that on your tassels head coverings women preachers oh my can you eat duck eggs you know this kind of stuff let me tell you I have unfortunately lost members of our fellowship because I taught from the book of Acts people left over that I've had people leave because I told them you need to be in fellowship and they didn't like my definition of the word convocation which I got from the dictionary another family didn't like me quoting 29 Paul let me tell you we will cut and run over some stuff but but but something magical starts happening on Facebook every Friday night around 6 pm and it continues on into the next day hundreds of posts that all look the same big smile hand extended see my ring see my ring shabbat shalom shabbat shalom yeah every Friday night y'all might be bronzillas on Monday but when the Sabbath comes around everybody starts shining and buffing that ring and telling everybody about it and you know what for good reason because I'm in Covenant baby yeah Hallelujah I know who I am and I know who's I am 30 Hallelujah you know there's a difference between a girlfriend and a fiance okay there's a big difference now back in the day when Lauren and I were going out my wife and I you know when we were teeny boppers there was another guy in our youth group who was interested and he tried to make some moves so I had to get I had to get my wife to be off the market quickly uh I didn't need that kind of drama in my life so what did I do we were too young to get engaged so I gave her a promise ring you know what that is it's a sign that 31 something better is coming just hang with me until we get there okay and speaking of that how many know that we are not happy I think I think the world needs to hear this if they're watching this message how many get happy about Genesis Exodus Leviticus Numbers and Deuteronomy yeah we got a house full and we need to let the world know that we're happy about Matthew Mark Luke John in Acts 2 aren't we yes yes we are Ephesians 1 14-16 says the Holy Ghost is the down payment on our inheritance which is applied toward our Redemption as God's Own people resulting in the honor of His Glory Hallelujah how many 32 are where in their promise rings tonight anybody have the Holy Ghost in here oh yeah Hallelujah the spirit is exactly just like a promise ring Hallelujah glory to God hallelujah praise you for the promise you know Yeshua even referred to it that way he said it's the promise of the father yes he did all right let me get doctrinal for just a second what does the spirit do for us well I know it would hurt some of the people that I have fellowshipped with in the past to hear me say it but we're not yet born again there's no Cain going to pull me off the 33 stage for saying that or better yet born from above the spirit is wonderful the spirit is powerful but the spirit does not give us that new heart that Jeremiah is talking about yet it's coming if Paul said if that was the case Paul wouldn't say I have to Die daily [Applause] but what does it do the spirit says stick with me this is good but something better is coming yeah Hallelujah all right here's a friendly reminder I said this last time I was with you I want to say praise Yahweh that you are keeping the Shabbat I love to see Brothers walking around with with 34 their tassels on their tallits and I love hearing that you eat clean and that you took your toaster outside and you blew it out with an air compressor because you wanted to get all of 11 out of your house that's good that's good James said you believe in God that's good but the Devils also believe right you you keep the Sabbath and that is good but his dreams and he gives her a sign of the Covenant what does she do she starts talking about dates she wants to go put an x on the calendar 49 more days until I Say I Do yeah y'all know what I'm talking about 48 more days you may never think about counting the Omer the same way again are you excited about what's coming I'm excited hallelujah oh yeah the katuba the marriage contract I'm appropriate I'm so happy that we just had this renewing of vows this wedding earlier because let me compare what we do here on Earth with what Yahweh promises his people you're gonna love this on Earth we promise to love each other in sickness and in health in Deuteronomy 7 15 Yahweh says I'll just take away all your sicknesses the evil diseases of Egypt you're not going to have to worry about those but I tell you what I'll put them on those who hate you though I think that's a pretty good vow on Earth what do we say all my worldly 38 Goods I Thee endow and Yahweh says that's cool I'll open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that you don't have room for you want to talk worldly Goods Psalms 24 says the Earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof the world and they that dwell therein he's got it all [Applause] I was 21 and my wife was 18 when we got married we were kids and a week before we got married I had ten thousand dollars in my checking account boy I thought I was rich over the next two weeks I paid closing costs on a house I bought some appliances and I flew my 39 new bride to a resort in Jamaica for our honeymoon let me tell you that money disappeared faster than a tweet about Hunter Biden's laptop [Laughter] [Applause] there had to be one of those y'all know I had to do it one more vow let's talk about what do we say when we do our vows we say to have and to hold till when first Thessalonians 4 13-18. but we do not want you to be uninformed Brothers about those who are asleep that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope for since we believe that Yeshua died and rose again even so through Yeshua God will bring with him those who 40 have fallen asleep for this we declare to you by a word from the Lord that we who are alive who are left until the coming of the Lord will not precede those who have fallen asleep for the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command with a voice of an archangel and the sound of the trumpet of God the dead in Christ will rise first and then we who are alive we who are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord and see in this life death fulfills the Covenant of marriage but the Bible says 41 so we will always be with the Lord therefore encourage one another with these words he's already promised to go with us through the fire and through the flood so I got a question for you what shall separate us from the love of God shall Angels or rulers shall things present or things to come shall height or depth or anything in creation be able to separate us from his love no Paul goes so far as to say I am sure that not even death will do us part how how good is that Hallelujah and what does he ask of us in return for all of the amazing incredible beautiful 42 vows that he offers to us what does he ask of us he says if you love me keep my Commandments you know what that sounds like a pretty good arrangement to me Ecclesiastes 12 13 the end of the matter all has been heard fear Elohim keep his Commandments you know what this is the whole duty of man you want a purpose-driven life put that book down yeah all right unfortunately this is the part of the movie with the old high school flame shows up I don't even understand why people watch these movies they're all the same the old sweetheart rolls in town and the girl starts reminiscing about the the 43 good old days before her prince came along and we're talking despite having the absolute best possible future she could ever have what does she do she's Julia Roberts she's The Runaway Bride bail Malik Dagon tammuz oh yeah but I still haven't found what I'm looking for she's still running from lover to lover but then all of a sudden she hears a sound like an alarm clock interrupting a bad dream what is that sound is that a trumpet oh it's a show for I know that sound I remember hearing that before at Mount Sinai Exodus 19 13 when the trumpet sounds a long blast they shall come up to the 44 mountain yeah isn't this interesting that in most traditional American weddings there is a very specific sound and when you hear it everybody just Rises you don't have to tell them to do it and you know the tune and everybody just gets up wow a certain sound tells people it's time to rise I've heard that before somewhere well see this Yahweh Israel relationship unfortunately it does not go the way that the king wants it to go to borrow a line from a funny movie Oh Brother Where Art Thou she done up and r-u-n-n-o-f-t laughs let me say there's primarily two reasons that people will come to an altar if 45 they don't normally come to this type of setting they'll come to get married or they'll come to repent yeah now we're talking about the day of trumpets all right this mysterious not clearly explained appointed time in scripture all right now for many years I've gotten with our fellowship and we will go out in the pasture on my farm and we'll blow the shofar as instructed in the Torah and we talk about the second coming of Messiah well in recent years I focused on the fact that we are told in Leviticus 23 that this is a day of Memorial a memorial is something that is intended 46 to jog your memory to put your mind in a different place to make you remember something okay that's what a memorial is so in this tumultuous relationship between the father and Israel one day Hosea is told to speak these words in Hosea 2 2. it says plead with your mother plead with her she is not my wife and I am not her husband plead that she will put away this whoring from her face and her adultery from between her breasts well one day she figures out there has only ever been one real true love in her life in verse 7 we read this then she shall say 47 I will go and return to my first husband why because it was better for me then than now yeah that trumpet that's a wake-up call it's a reminder a memorial of days gone by Israel you need to come yes you need to come to the altar this time it's not to get married it's to get on your face and repent and having to know what I'm talking about real repentance that word doesn't mean what a lot of people think it means the Torah doesn't let criminals off the hook because they feel bad and say I'm sorry that's not repentance you don't Rob your neighbor and tell him I didn't mean to 48 and then get to keep his sheep right no the father doesn't let people bear false witness against their neighbor and get away with it we know that whatsoever a man sows Israel did some bad stuff and now she has to pay for it it's time to repent not say you're sorry it's time to hear that blast and recognize you gotta rise up and get out of the sin okay put down the ham and cheese sandwich and throw out your Christmas tree [Laughter] yeah I said it it's time to stop going to yard sales on Saturdays it's time to trade in your hotel drawer Bible that just has the New Testament 49 and Psalms and Proverbs if you're lucky and get the whole word of God and start reading and doing yes that is what trumpets is about the king is coming let's get ready yeah Hallelujah next moving on we see something that should give us all so much hope and joy let me tell you despite what she has done we see just like that beautiful song that Rael sang we see the father is willing to take back his Wayward bride this is such a beautiful story in the same chapter in Hosea 2 just a few verses later after he's just said play with her she's not my wife I don't want nothing to do with 50 her anymore he says therefore behold I will Allure her I'm gonna bring her into the Wilderness and speak tenderly to her and I'm gonna get her Vineyards and I'm going to take the valley of acor and I'm going to turn that into a door of Hope and when that happens she will answer as in the days of her youth as at the time when she came out of the land of Egypt wow in Revelation Chapter 2 we have the Church of Ephesus and the Church of Ephesus is warned you need to repent okay John sends Messengers to Ephesus and he says you've abandoned the love that you had at first 51 you need to remember where you are falling from and go back and do the first works again okay that's Revelation 2 in Hosea 2 Yahweh is saying Israel needs to go back to the wilderness back where they told Moses All That Yahweh has commanded we will do what is interesting is that he says that he will turn the valley of acor into a door of Hope pastor and I just stumbled across this in conversation earlier today the valley of acor is where Aiken was stoned remember that story because he hid the stuff under his tent that's not exactly a good memory for Israel okay the valley of acor is 52 where you get caught and all your business just gets put out in front for everybody to see the last time Israel was in the valley of acor it looked like they were about to die but Yahweh says because you heard the trumpet and you turned even in the Valley of the shadow of death I will make a Door of Hope wow isn't that wonderful Hallelujah Glory folks in here that are my age or older will probably remember Johnny Cochran in the O.J Simpson trial yeah remember that line what did he say if the glove don't fit today I tell you if the bride will repent he must relent 53 oh yeah that's how it works but what's next the next day on the calendar is the day of judgment Yom Kippur if I had the movie preview voice I would try to use it what will he do he has every right to put her away just like Joseph thought about doing with Mary only 10 days ago she heard the sound of the shofar can the bride return find out tomorrow well the bride tries to come back but we've got a problem her dress it's not white no it's dirty what are we gonna do what's the standard the standard is without spot or wrinkle or any such thing 54 what are we gonna do well I have good news because the theme of Yom Kippur is cleansing let me tell you there are some stains they just don't wash out easily you can cheer and you can even shout it out but you won't gain a thing you can squirt some Dawn on a magic eraser and hand it to Mr Clean and the tide still won't turn but there is one cleansing agent that is above all the competition what can wash away my sin what can make me whole again nothing but the blood Hallelujah though your sin has left a Crimson Stain you can be white like wool again 55 and y'all know this Yom Kippur is the day that begins the Jubilee and that word the word that should come to mind when you think about Jubilee is the word return because everything and everyone goes back to where they rightfully belong not only does the land go back but the scripture says you shall return to your family what a day for the bride to come home made clean and set free so what do we do next we party it's the coat the shame has been washed away and now it's time for the honeymoon it's time to dwell together the promise has finally been realized why do you 56 think everybody loves to eat in the sukkah it's because we're thinking about the marriage supper of a lamb sukkotas for seven days it represents the week of the history of the world and it goes into the millennial Sabbath but then there's that glorious Eighth Day which represents eternity and let me ask you a question how does every perfect love story end and they live happily ever after then wow what a love story Hallelujah I'm closing now I believe this is the big picture it is the story of our past and it can be our future if we will make ourselves ready who wants to be without 57 spot or wrinkle or any such thing I know I do father help us hallelujah during this season of unleavened bread this is the last thing I want to say let us not forget that leaven doesn't always represent sin okay Yeshua compared the Kingdom of Heaven to heaven in Matthew 13 33 and he also referred to the 11 of the Pharisees now since we're celebrating this Feast now we are not to celebrate the Feast with old leaven and leaven can also refer to teaching or doctrine or theology and let me ask a question how many towers of Babel have been built on the errors of previous generations 58 it
