want to welcome you to get your Bibles ready we're going to be continuing today (01:00) on the subject of the 144,000 this is going to be part two I taught on it last week we had so many phone calls and so much email about this subject with so many questions that I still think that I want to continue covering it so get your Bibles ready who was that 144,000 we're going to continue that today I want to wish my grandmother a very happy birthday she turned 81 years old uh this week and uh she's sister L Gatlin Terrell known Across the Nation as a Godly sainted woman and she's been an example in my (01:41) life all these years and she turned 81 still living for Jesus still doing the work of God and she's known as a songwriter all around the nation for the songs that she's written and so today in honor of my grandmother sister Gatlin L Gatlin Terry I'm going to sing one of the songs that she wrote probably 50 years ago but the words are still good let's worship together today as we encouragement that you send me every day either on the Internet or by phone or by mail and I wanted to stop and just let you know what God is doing a few days ago when I received a phone call from the president of this network about starting a television broadcast I had to pray long and hard about that decision because there's a million preachers on TV and I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't going on television just to be on (09:54) television and then I realized that there is a message that this ministry preaches to the world a message about going from Mount Calvary to Mount Zion a message about enduring to the end a message about overcoming addictions and sins in your life and how to do that and I didn't hear that message being preached very much and so I knew that we had a message but of course we really didn't have the means the cost is astronomical for the airwaves but God is opening so many doors right now I received a call just yesterday from the (10:32) foothills of Tennessee seven stations that want to add this program to 30 million viewers by dish and Direct TV and then we want to do more time on this station and in Mississippi we received a phone call from the cable networks there they want to air our program and what we need is God through you to help us do that we are asking you today if you've been blessed by this broadcast there's going to be an address at the bottom of this screen I have no holy water to sell no prayer cloths to sell no gimmicks at (11:09) all just a plea for those that would like to help this ministry go to the next level about the 144,000 I'm I'm saddened when I look at God's people at how we are so carnal when it comes to interpreting the scriptures and it shouldn't be that way when we get to the Book of Revelation (12:28) for some reason we want to take everything and make it literal and we got to understand something there is a reason that God teaches us through symbols because language changes over time uh language doesn't stay the same but symbols never change for example water will always represent what water represents a rainbow will always represent uh the promise of God uh lion will always represent strength you may change the word strength to another word but you cannot change what it means when somebody looks at a lion and so it is in (13:12) the Book of Revelation God knew that there would be 2,000 years of Christians that would read this book they may not understand the verbage or the vernacular but they would always understand the symbols of the book for example Jesus is the Lamb on Mount Zion well he's not a literal lamb the lamb will always represent the broken and the humility and the obedient and now with Jesus on that same Mountain Mount Zion is another 144,000 Lambs who are they and I W backtrack from last week's program you can watch it on YouTube if you missed it (13:58) but last week I be to teach you that this is not the literal 144,000 Jews that are going to be evangelist after the Rapture of the church that is ludicrous that is just beyond my comprehension how anybody could think for one second that that's a literal 144,000 to understand it you must understand the numerology of the Bible God deals with us with symbols and numbers all through his Bible don't lose track of that so we're going to pick up in Revelation 14 today and we're going to continue teaching who these 144,000 (14:42) are to recapitulate from last week I taught you what the number six and the number 12 indicates I taught you that six is the carnal nature of man it's the number of man I taught you that 12 is the number of the converted man the man that's under Divine government he's walking in obedience to the Ten Commandments of God and being obedient to God's plan for his life the number 12 is the number of a man that has been changed it's that simple he's been changed from the old carnal nature to the new Mind Of God those people that (15:22) make up that group of Overcomers that overcome The Temptations of this life they didn't by that gospel message that said you could come to the altar write your name on a card join the church and go to heaven and be saved for all eternity the calvinistic doctrine must be one of the grandest threats to the body of Christ it has infiltrated the Church of Jesus Christ and in so doing has produced a group of Christians that have become lazy they have become worldly they have become disobedient all the while believing that they are saved (16:04) and on their way to heaven but this group of people that make up the 144,000 have come under obedience to the laws of God they didn't do it on their own they can't do it on their own no human being can be obedient to God on his own without the help of God himself the Holy Ghost the Holy Ghost comes in and makes you an Overcomer and then you go from being that 666 to 12 and then if you will notice 12 multiplied by 12 12 is the square root of what number 144 you can't get 12 to go any higher than 144 it's multiplied (16:50) by itself so this group of 144,000 it says plainly in the word of God Revelations 4 and verse4 that these are they which were not defiled with women for they are virgins these are they which obey the word they follow the lamb the lamb is the word they follow the lamb the word whatever it says they say amen and then it will notice that the last line will tell you exactly who these people are it says that these are the first fruits unto God now who are the first fruits you must understand God's law of first fruits (17:36) Paul said these words in the Holy Bible he said that the Church of the Living God is the first fruits unto God we are the first fruit well these 144,000 it says these are the first fruits unto God they are the first group of people the church the elect the chosen that God has called them they have run the race all the way to the Finish Line they have overcome this world and now they are standing in their governmental Authority during the Millennium reign of Jesus Christ now I want to show you something even more interesting that will just (18:16) prove what we're saying let's go to Revelation chap 21 and here I want to deal with something that has plagued the church for all these years and it's about the description of the New Jerusalem for many years we've had preachers and I used to be one of them that told everybody about these streets of gold and Gates of Pearl and everybody needs to get ready and and go to heaven and and thank God there is going to be an eternal Abode for the saints of God just may not quite be what your preacher has taught you but nevertheless let's read (18:53) about these streets of gold and Gates of Pearl and let's see who these 144,000 you're about to see them all over again from your Bible don't ever believe anything I say believe the word of God and as you begin to read this chapter you're going to be shocked you're going to be amazed at what's been hidden from your eyes all of these years so let's start at Revelation 21 and we'll begin with verse number two and I John saw the holy city now stop right there stop right there the holy city is not a place it's a people we read in Paul's writing (19:36) where you have not come to mount SII but you have come to the New Jerusalem you have come to the holy city which is what the Church of the Living God the New Jerusalem now keep this in mind I taught you last week that you the church are the new Israel or the New Jerusalem you have not replaced the Jews they're going to rejoin you during the Millennium when they all will accept Messiah when he returns to the earth I can read all these scriptures to you go to our website and you can read these articles but all the Jews will accept (20:14) Messiah and when they do then old Israel natural Israel is going to join together that Olive Branch is going to be combined with the wild branch and then those two together will make up this new restored Israel or Jerusalem whatever you want to call it and I'll prove it to you let's go down and read now and let's see verse number nine who is the New Jerusalem is it a literal city are we going to read this carnally are we going to read it taking all of God's word watch this verse n and there came unto me one of the Seven Angels which had the (20:55) seven vows full of the seven last plagues and talk with me saying come here here I'm going to show you something the angel says I'm going to show you something I'm going to show you the New Jerusalem the new restored Israel and John is listening carefully but he's not like you've been or like I was in the past he wasn't carnal-minded he wasn't seeing a literal City listen to what the angel said he was going to show him when he showed him the New Jerusalem come hither and let let me show you the Bride of Jesus Christ the (21:33) Lamb's wife the Church of God let me show you what she looks like once she's been tried by fire and once she has been purg by the Holy Ghost once she's been Sanctified by the fire of God this is what she's going to look like remember John is writing to a church that's being persecuted in this place that they existed in in Asia Minor these churches are going through they need hope they need something to wait for and John saiding look I saw the church the Lamb's wife I saw the bride and here's what she looked like she wasn't beaten down she (22:16) wasn't in some Roman Amphitheater being destroyed being ridiculed by the crowds she wasn't beat down she wasn't weary anymore but I saw the Lamb's wife and and she had the glory of God remember the wife the Bible said when speaking about her hair to wear it long it said because she is the glory of her husband the church is the glory of God and listen carefully and her light remember the church is the light of the world we are the CI set on the hill the light oh this is so good was lik into a stone most precious now let's go to verse 12 (22:58) and let's read this and now let's talk about the walls of the city and the gates of Pearl and the streets of gold let's see what John is trying to teach us here her wall is great what is that wall Well we'd have to go to Isaiah 26 And1 real quickly and you'll see what this wall is in Isaiah 26 and verse one in that day shall this song Be Sung in Israel we have a strong City that the righteous nation which keepeth truth can enter in and thou will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you God promised them and now (23:42) let's go to Isaiah 60 and verse 18 and you'll see who this wall is Isaiah 60 and8 well let's read violence shall no more be heard in the land wasting nor destruction within our borders but thou Thou shalt call thy walls salvation and thy Gates shall be praised well guess what John is seeing the Fulfillment of Isaiah's prophecy when the walls or the Salvation or when the church is finally saved and safely and with God for all eternity the walls of the church the walls of the Bride is her salvation now let's continue reading I must hurry and (24:25) it had how many gates 12 there's the number 12 again it had 12 gates after the names of the 12 tribes of Israel who are the new restored tribes of Israel natural Israel along with the church together making up this perfect government of Israel I must hurry my time is leaving quickly and then uh the wall of the city had 12 foundations these 12 foundations is where our Salvation is established in what the apostles Doctrine if if you'll read the names of the Apostles is in all these foundations the Church of Salvation is (25:05) founded in the doctrine that the apostles preach they are the foundation of the church Jesus is the Cornerstone that brings the Old Testament prophet and the New Testament Apostles 12 and 12 and combines them together let me hurry quickly I'm I'm out of time and he that talked with me had a measuring rod and he measured the church he measured New Jerusalem and you're not going to believe what the measurement came up to be read verse 16 12,000 furlongs there's 12 again he measured God's Church in her perfection (25:41) in her purified State she come out to be a 12 she was 12 on all four sides she is now 12 time 12 she's the 144 and then read with me now what verse 17 says and he measured the church or the wall of the church the salvation and guess what the number came up to be four square 144 once again the 144,000 has been identified as the first fruit which is the church here she's identified is the bride the New Jerusalem the holy city God dwells in the city which is his church his bride oh but brother Von what about these Gates of pearl I'll answer (26:26) that question real quickly there's only one way into God's church it's through the gate of pearl what is the Pearl the gospel it's the pearl of great price so to come into this place called New Jerusalem this 144,000 you've got to come in through the gospel the pearl of great price and then what about all these stones and the foundation I don't have time but it's the exact same stones that Satan wore Before the Throne of God they were the jewels of Lucifer that's been given given to the church the exact same Jewel and brother Von what about (27:02) that street of gold I don't have time to read it but go read Malachi I'm out of time go read Malachi chapter 3 and 1-4 and you'll find the street of gold that word street is a mistranslation it should be the center of gold when God has purified his bride she will be purest gold so brothers and sisters my time is gone I pray today you understand your job J is not to get just go to the Altar and go to Calvary your job is to make it all the way to Mount Zion Zion's calling somebody to fight the good fight of Faith to run the race with patience (27:43) to never give up no matter what happens how hard life gets you've got to fight every fight you got to overcome every Temptation Mount Zion is waiting the
