Book of Isaiah part 1

Chapter 1 - The Book of Isaiah mp4 360 He that hath an ear, Revelation 2.17, let him hear what the Spirit says, not to the world, but to whom? The called out congregation. Remember, the book of Revelation is not written to the world. It is written to the church. Only the church can understand this book. If I gave you a book, Brother Morgan, and it was written in Spanish, you would look at it and make up all kinds of interpretations out of it. Because you don't know Spanish. The Holy Ghost has a language that only the church understands. And he speaks to the church through the book of Revelation. So let's see what he has to say. To him that overcometh will I allow to eat of the hidden manna. Not to the Christian. Not to the saved man. But to the overcomer. I will give you access to something that the church knows nothing about. I will say it again. The church is eating the manna. But there is a hidden manna that the church cannot tolerate. But there is a people that if you will overcome, I will give you access to a hidden. Somebody said, Brother Vaughn, y'all always want to know the hidden stuff. I don't want to know it. It wants to know me. Keep it simple. I tried, but it came looking for me. Why? Because I'm an overcomer. I want to know more. Hallelujah. God bless you tonight. You may be seated. I want to preach you a message tonight called, Stranded in the Shadows. Stranded in the Shadows. Many of you sitting under this voice. Many of you watching me around the world. Have become stranded in the shadows. And I'm going to explain what I mean as we go through tonight's message. But I am starting a new series right now. And what I'm going to do is I'm going to take you to the book of Isaiah. And we are going to study this year every chapter of the book of Isaiah. We're going to go verse by verse and chapter by chapter. And it's going to open up, I believe, and by the way there's 60 something chapters. So, 66. We're going to preach every chapter this year. Yahweh has laid this book on my heart as an end time book. And so we're going to Isaiah chapter 1. And we are going to go through this first chapter tonight. And bring it to where I want to bring it to. Before I do that, let me tell you a little bit about Isaiah. Isaiah was a prophet, a major prophet. Isaiah was living in Israel. And while he was in Israel, Yahweh, listen carefully because every word matters tonight. Yahweh was wanting to destroy Israel. Because Israel was a stubborn son. We're going to read that in a moment. But as long as Isaiah and his sons were in Israel, Yahweh would not allow the Assyrians to come in and destroy Israel. So one day Isaiah is in his house when Yahweh tells Isaiah, I want you to move to Jerusalem. Now in days gone by we wouldn't know the difference in Israel and Jerusalem. But Israel was over there now. They were enemies pretty much. And now God said, I want you to get your sons and leave. I told Isaiah, get up and go. So in the first chapter of Isaiah, Isaiah is moving to Jerusalem. He gets over to Jerusalem, Brother Morgan, and this is where this chapter begins, is in Judah or Jerusalem. Let's read verse 1. The vision of Isaiah, the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah. So in other words, he lived through four kings of Judah. And now he's going to give you his prophecy, and I want you to read it carefully. Listen, O heavens, and hear, O earth. Do you know why that is? Because any time a word of God goes forth, it must be witnessed by heaven and earth. Two or three witnesses. For Yahweh speaks, and here's what Yahweh says to Judah, not Israel. Because judgment has already come on Israel. So now he's prophesying to her sister, Judah. He says, this is what Yahweh says to the house of Israel. Sons, I have reared and brought them up, but they have revolted against me. Now I really want you to hear Yahweh's heart. He said, sons, I brought you up, and now you have revolted against me. I know the feeling as a spiritual father when you raise up spiritual sons, and they revolt against you. I know that pain that Yahweh is feeling. I've invested, he says, I've invested everything into you, and then you revolt. Yahweh said Israel had revolted. Hosea 11 and 1. When Israel was a child, then I loved him and called my son out of Egypt. You will always start off with God as a what? Child. What did he say? Israel was a child. Until I called him out of Egypt. Then I turned him into a son. You do not become a son when you get saved. That's your child level. But you will become a son as you're leaving Babylon or Egypt. They're both the same. So God said about Israel, you started off a child. You became a son. I fed you. I did everything for you. I made sure you were taken care of. Somebody needs to hear me in the spirit. I did everything for you, he said. I made sure you got this message. I made sure you knew the commandment. I gave it to you, my son. But then you revolted against me. Let's read Exodus 4 and 22. And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the Lord, Israel is my son, even my firstborn. So Israel is my son, my what? Firstborn. What feast are we in right now? What festival are we in? Firstfruits. 50 days of 7 Sabbaths. We've already gone through one Sabbath. We are in the counting of the Omar. This is the 50 days of Firstfruits. And do you know why? Do you remember the story how God killed all the firstborn sons of Egypt? Do you know why he did it? Why didn't he kill the dogs? Why didn't he kill the girls? Because Egypt had taken his firstborn son into captivity. And now vengeance takes their firstborn sons. Israel was the firstborn son of Yahweh. And if you're an Israelite today, you are among the first harvest or the firstborn or the first sons. And you need to understand the feast that we're in right now. It is about calling you out of Egypt. It's not about calling you to the cross. That was easy. It's about calling you out of Egypt. Babylon. Out of sin. You were a child, Sister Kim. But he said, I turned you into a son when you came out. God don't want you to just come out of sin. He wants you to come out of something else. And what is that something else? Well, let me show you. The hardest coming out you will ever do will never be sin. It will always be religion. I want to explain it to you like this. These were the sons of Yahweh. Let's go to Genesis 16 and 12. And then Exodus 13 and 12. Now, the problem with Israel, Yahweh was their father. But guess what, if you've got a father, you've got to have a what? A mother. Oh yeah. You've got to have somebody you fed off their breast. You've got to have somebody that sang you lullabies at night. Do you know who Israel's mother was? She had grown up on the hind, you know what, of Egypt. It won't do you no good if God is your father, but your religion is your mother. Wow, that's right. They had been in Babylon so long they thought Babylon was mama. Amen. They learned mama's traditions, celebrated mama's holiday. Ain't nobody in your life more powerful than mama. People will reject this message because it don't line up with what mama told them. You better get delivered from that mama demon and you better come running after your father in heaven. Egypt was their mother. They grew up under her skirt. They trained in her schools. God's hardest job will be pulling you off of the breasts of Babylon. That's the hardest deliverance you will ever go through. But if you'll do it, I'll turn you into a son. Why? Because God don't like sissies. Put that on right wing watch. Hallelujah. It'll be out there tomorrow. You know why? He said, quit yourself like men. He said, quit yourself like men. He said, quit being a mama's boy. Get with your father. Luke, I am your father. He said, find out who your father is and quit being a mama's boy. Because this world is your mama. She's raised you in her schools, in the public schools. She taught you how to think. She taught you that it's okay for what you're seeing in this world today, just tolerate it. Mama taught you these things. But if you ever get in your daddy's book, he will straighten you out real fast. This world cannot be your mama. That's right. That's good. That is a hybrid. Amen. Anything that's a hybrid is dead while it lives. Have you ever seen a jackass have another jackass? Never. Do you know why? They're dead. That's good. When you take a horse and mate it with a donkey, you know what you get. You get death. When you hybridize corn, it's dead food. You eat it. It looks like life, but it's a joke. It's artificial. It's dead, but it looks alive. That donkey, mule walking around, looks like he's alive because he's going to church. He's working in the church. Nothing works harder than a mule. Nothing. He's a worker. He'll go work in the church. He'll show up for work days, but he will never submit to the word of God. Because mules don't submit. Mules don't submit. A horse will submit because he's thoroughbred. But a mule, you've got to beat that mule day and night. I'm telling you, if God is your father and this world is your mother, you will turn out a jackass every time. Every time. Always making noise, but doing nothing. God don't want you half-breed. He said, you were with your mama, Egypt, and I called you out of your mama's house. He said, I called you out, and you was a child when I did it. But when you got out, I brought you to the wilderness. I made you live alone. I taught you to depend on me for your word. I taught you the truth. I gave you the law. I made you a son. And you want to turn back into a mama's baby. I'm telling you, you better learn to let go of this world. She's not your mama. Mamas bring you life. They bring you to life, but fathers turn you into sons. That's why ain't no boy got no business sitting up in a house with women. I'll say it again. Ain't no boy got no business sitting in a house with a bunch of women. Get him out of the house. Make him become a man. Why? Because this world wants to turn your sons into daughters. This world wants to turn you back into a child. Because God turns you into a son. But you're looking back. You've revolted against it. Brother Vaughn, I don't believe that. Let me show you. I'm going to show you if you hybrid. Let's go to Genesis 16 and 12. Let's talk about, let's see if you're one of them hybrids. Somebody say hybrid. Hybrid. Let's find out if you hybrid. If you're hybrid, you're going to act like a donkey. Like a, no, I'm sorry, a mule, which comes from a donkey. A donkey is his mama. Read Genesis 16. This is talking about Ishmael who had what? Abraham as his father. Yeah. But the wrong mama. My mama. That's good. Had the right father, but the wrong mama. And this is the result of an Ishmael. Read. And he will be a wild man. What was he? A wild man. He was a wild man. Like an old mule. Because he had the wrong mama. Read. And every man's hand against him. Now. I'm sorry, hold on. If you're part of this mixed up breed, you're always going to be in battle with everybody. Everybody's hand is against you. You're always into it with everybody. Hybrid. They love to make noise and do nothing. They'll show up when we're preparing for a holy day festival. Won't do nothing but walk around making noise. Every man. Read. I skipped a line, so I'm going to go back. Go back. His hand will be against every man. If you are from this donkey religion, this donkey faith, your hands will always be against everybody. My mama. You will not be able to submit to nobody because you got the wrong mama. Your hand will be against everybody and everybody's hand will be against you. You know what that's called in modern language? Drama. Yahweh's people don't have drama. We don't get involved with drama. We are not mules. We are lambs. You better leave drama alone. The minute they bring it to you, you need to call them what they are. Get behind me, jackass. Because that's what you are. You're a hybrid. You got the look of church, but you got the wrong. You got religion. You don't have relationship with your father in heaven. You joined a church. You know how to do church. He said, when you are a hybrid, your hands will be against everybody. I've been knowing these folks 8 years, brother and sister Kendrick. I've never known one day of drama since I've known them in 8 years. And probably 50 years. I mean, I've not been here. You know why? Because lambs of God, we can let you walk on us. We don't try to get back at you. We ain't trying to let you post something on Facebook and then we repost it and try to say something without saying it. No, no, no. We don't do all that. No. Hallelujah. No, no, no. We're lambs. When you're a lamb, you walk like a lamb. Quit being a mule. Come on. Read what else it says. And every man's hand against him, and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren. Now listen to what he said. What version is that? King James. Okay. He shall dwell where? In the presence of all his brethren. He will not be part of his brethren. He'll just always be hostile with them, dwelling in their presence, but never being part of them. Okay, I'm fixing to preach now. Come on. When you find a lamb, they want to join the flock. They want to be part of the ministry, what God is doing. But when you find a mule, they just want to be in the presence of the ministry without being part of the ministry. They're always hanging around. But it's only to find fault and to put their hand against somebody. It's a, oh, see, I'm trying to help you. When you're an old donkey, when you're an old mule, you will always be in the presence of God's people, not because you're one of them, but because you've learned how to act like one of them, and therefore that's the only place you're comfortable is hanging around the church, because you've learned how to do church, but you're always in our presence. Hallelujah. Ishmael was always, Ishmael's still in the presence of his brethren. You ever heard of Iraq? Iran? He's over there taunting them right now. Wow. His brothers, Judah, the Jewish people, they're still over there, don't want nothing to do with them, just wants to be around them. When you've got an old mule spirit, you want to be at church, but you don't want to be part of the church. I'm going to say it again, I'm going to say it until somebody quits ignoring me. Don't think I'm dumb. I'm talking to you. I'm talking to you. I tried to talk to people for the last month and they didn't hear me, and I can tell you what's happening. Somebody better hear me tonight, or I prophesy the same thing for you. You better hear me, you better become part of the work. Because if you're not, you'll be a donkey always in the presence of the church without participating with the church. Where does Ishmael dwell? Why don't Ishmael just leave? No, no, he wants to be among the brethren and do nothing but put his hands against the anointed people of God. I'm trying to tell you about a spirit that's in God's church, hanging around. And you know what? They taunt the church. They stand outside, but they don't leave our presence. You better watch children. That old mule spirit will get on you. When you're a lamb of God, all you want to do is be part of the flock. You want to walk with the people of God wherever they walk in. You just want to be part of what God is doing in the earth today. But when you want to just do your thing and not be part of the work of God, you've got the wrong spirit on you. Read Exodus 13, 12-14. Now, what happens to a donkey? They have to be redeemed. They have to be changed. Read it, Exodus 13, 12-14. That thou shalt set apart unto the Lord all that openeth the matrix. And every firstling that cometh of a beast which thou hast, the male shall be the Lord's. And every firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb. Now, hold on. Every firstling of an ass has to be redeemed by a lamb. Why not an ass? Has to be a lamb. I've come to tell you tonight, there's hope for your donkey self. You can be redeemed by a lamb. You can be redeemed by a lamb. Oh yes, remember what he said, Israel, you were a child, you were an old donkey. But then Passover came, and you was redeemed by a lamb. And now you're my son that I've called out of mama's house. I'm going to my father's house. The problem that Isaiah in this first chapter is having, is that the children of Israel were the sons of Yahweh, but they were not acting like sons. They had reverted to the stiff neck condition, a rebellious will of spiritual donkeys. Go to Jeremiah 2 and 24. Now remember, watch this, they were donkeys. They got redeemed by a lamb. They become sons of Yahweh, which is lambs of God, and now they want to go back to being a donkey. Read Jeremiah 2, verse 24. A wild ass used to the wilderness that snuffed up the wind. I'll tell you what, let's read it. Here's what you're going to be like if this spirit's on you. A wild ass. Somebody say wild. Wild. You know what wild is, Sister Hope? It's like wild weeds. It won't let you control it. It won't let you correct it. He's talking about, in Jeremiah, he said Israel had become like this wild ass. And what do wild asses do, read. That first line, read it again. A wild ass used to the wilderness that snuffed up the wind. A wild ass what? That snuffed up the wind. That snuffs up the wind. Do you know what that means? Snortin'. You ain't going to put no bridle on him. I come to get the asses out of this church. If it's in me, I want it out. He said you're always sniffing at the wind, ready to go somewhere. Like a wild, you want to go to the next minute. Go to this. God ain't called you nowhere. Sit yourself down and quit being a wild ass. Quit sniffing the wind, waiting for the next. You settle and let God create out of you what this ministry is capable of turning you into. A son of God. That wild ass always wants to go. That's what it means, sniffing the wind. What do you think? It's smelling. For the next, the next place God wants me to go. Where am I going next? That's what Israel always wanted to leave. Where God had planted them. And then what else do these wild spirits do, read. That snuffed at the wind at her pleasure, in her occasion, who can turn her away? All they that seek her will not weary themselves. In her month they shall find her. But I want to tell you what happens to this wild spirit. She sniffs the wind in her what? In her heat. I'm not going to break it down too plain. But I hope you know what I'm talking about. She wants anything that will come along and mount her. Anything that will take her away from her responsibility of being changed into the image of God. She's like a wild animal. She's standing there in her heat. Wanting her passion, her ministry, her this, her that. Instead of stopping. If you're not careful, that spirit will get on you. But here's the result. Here's what Yahweh said about Israel. Don't worry about her. Don't weary yourself because she won't let you. She's going to come back. But it's going to be too late. Read what he said in that last line. Don't weary yourself, listen. Will not weary themselves. In her month they shall find her. In her month, when she ain't hot no more. You're going to find her. And she never went where that wind promised to take her. When you start running from the house of God. From the ministry of God. They will find you. And you're going to be in such a condition when they find you. That you won't be, you ain't have no heat no more. Why? Because you left the place where God planted you. Always chasing the wind. I've been there as a young preacher. God wants to take everyone in this ministry. And put you in a sure place. The Bible said a nail in a sure place. God wants to settle you in the ministry. And the work that he's doing. And he wants you to like it. And quit sniffing the wind. Hallelujah. When you start following the wind. Instead of following the word. They'll find you when you're no longer in heat. And notice when it will be. In your month. In your ministration. When you're bleeding. Nobody wants you. They wanted you while you was in heat. I need a little help. Everybody wants you when you're in heat. I'm not trying to be too plain. But I got to. But when it's the time. When it's that time. Don't nobody want you. See God said keep running. Everybody's promising you the world right now. But don't worry about Israel. When they're done with her. When they're through with her. When nobody wants her. You'll find her. Don't let that be you. Don't let that be you. I wish I could tell you the people I've seen leave God's house. Only to wind up in a condition where nobody wanted them. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Find your place. And go to work with the flock. And let God use you. Hallelujah. The apostle Paul calls those children like that. Children of the flesh. Now listen to what he said about children of the flesh. In Galatians 4. Verse 25 and verse 30. Listen to what you're going to have to do one day. Someday soon. If you're going to follow Yahweh all the way. You're going to have to pay a visit. To mama's house. And here's what Paul said children. Ishmael was a child of the flesh. Why? He wasn't a child of promise. When God gives you your destiny in your life sister El. He will give you a promise. And everyone will come in your path to give you an alternative. And that's a word from the Lord sister. God told Abraham be patient. Stay right here with Sarah. But Abraham started sniffing the wind. Why? God promised me I'm going to preach around the world. And I'm not even preaching around the bathroom. Oh I smell revival. You don't smell nothing. Sit your tail down. Until God supernaturally opens a door for you. And you leave with the blessing of this house. Or whatever house God has put you in. Why? Because you will become a child of the flesh. Seeking after the things of this world. When God gives you a promise. You want to wrap your feet in the garden of God. And say water me with the word. And rip me with the fire. Don't let me come out of what God has for me. When God called you here El. He called you to plant your feet. Now the enemy will come and offer you everything in the world. They'll offer you something in California. They'll offer you something in Nevada. But if God said come here. You better plant them feet. And you better not sniff the wind. You better say I'm ready to do what God has called me to do. If I could break it down in modern day vernacular. I'd say sit your hot tail down. Because that's what that donkey is. Oh a hot tail. Running after everything. But you better run after the word. You better leave mama's house. And become what the word has called you to be. There is safety in this house. This house is overseen by bishops and pastors and elders. There is safety here. Ain't nobody here wants your money. Ain't nobody here wants what you can do for us. We're here to build the army of the Lord. To raise up sons of Yahweh. That's why we're here. Turn to your neighbor and say sit your hot tail down. Woo, hallelujah. Quit running. Quit running. When God says go, go and stop. Don't be deceived. When you're a donkey, you're never satisfied. God knows I hate to be plain. But in old, what my grandma used to call loose women. That sniffing the wind. They ain't never satisfied with an old hard working husband. Now they want a Casanova that will give them a one night pleasure. That's okay. He said run after them. But when they find you. You're going to be washed up. Used up. And good for nothing. Don't sniff the wind. Stand still and watch God move in your life. Get in a place, a sure place. God called every one of us to this place. And I'm telling you now as your pastor. You better shackle your feet in. Because since the feast has begun. Every devil in hell has come against this place. But they don't understand. There's no donkeys here. We're not sniffing the wind. We're standing still. And watching God do what He wants to do. In this final hour of the Laodicean church age. Hallelujah. Stand still. And watch God move. What did he say verse 25. And verse 30. Just hold off. I'm not quite ready yet. Go ahead. For this Agar is Mount Sinai. Who was the mother of Ishmael? Agar. Listen to what Paul says about Mama. The wrong Mama. Read for this agar is Mount Sinai in Arabia and Answer to Jerusalem which now is listen what he said That religion is going to answer to Jerusalem one day So you might want to take that false religion you was raised in and listen what he said in verse 30 Nevertheless what sayeth the scripture cast out the bondwoman Hallelujah Mama you gotta go. I Love you I know you raised me and I thank God for the church I grew up in and I thank God for middle Sunday school Classes and I thank God for the least of money said I thank God for all of it Oh But I need the mama he said I got you a mama her name is Sarah I'll show you the real church the real truth What did he say cast out your mama somebody say throw mama from the train I Know you gotta go. I Know you raised me. I love you, but my daddy's calling I hear the call of an eagle I know mama. I know you an old here and you sit on the egg And you brought me to life and you brought me to Christ and you brought me to the cross Mama gotta go. I Love your mama But my daddy said he would leave me his business if I'd follow him He's calling you tonight to follow him all the way Now throw mama out and do what? For the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the free woman if you want to be the mama's boy of your religion That's okay. You'll be saved as by fire, but you won't be no heir of that Christian That threw mama from the train and found their real mama The Bible said that the house of Israel is the mother of us all And God said if you'll lay down every religion you grew up here And I'm if you'll lay down every doctrine you was ever taught and come to the house of Israel Sarah Then you'll be heir You'll be heir But you gotta get the right mama I come to preach to somebody tonight Don't cry Because you left mama back there No You gotta decide Oh And we ain't got through the first verse My god They'll go He Said if you choose to stay with the bondwoman, I know she gave you birth, but she won't give you life. Come on He that cometh to me shall have life Mama gave you breath. She can't give you life the more of us I Still got a good ways to go y'all sit down Verse number three in Isaiah, let's go back. We finally got through the second verse Here O heavens and give ear O earth For Yahweh has spoken. I have nourished and brought up children and they have rebelled against me and Notice what he said in verse three so sad so sad The ox knows his owner And the ass even that old ass knows where the master's crib is But my children they don't know who their father is I Preach for years we have a fatherless church One of these days I'm gonna teach you about Marcion And I'm gonna show you who invented the New Testament before the Apostles ever did I'm gonna show you one day very soon. I'm working on it now I've been working on it for about two months putting it all together, but I want you to hear my words There's two churches in this world the one you grew up in and the true church and let me tell you right now When you don't know your father, let me tell you who everybody knows Everybody knows their brother, but they despise their father. They know Jesus their brother And they know the church and their mama, but they don't know their father They don't want to know him because he's got rules and regulations He or somebody told me a few days ago. I've never seen so many rules In a church. I said maybe that's why you are the way you are because you ain't seen no rules Somebody said Well The greatest nation in the world has the most rules in the world the United States of America has more laws on our books than any nation in the world and with a freest nation in the World it is the law that makes you free It is walking in obedience that will keep you free. That is the truth of the matter My sons don't know who I am verse 4 Oh sinful nation People weighed down with iniquity he's talking to the church. He's not talking to Hollywood He ain't talking to Washington DC He's talking to miracle tabernacle He's talking to the first UPC church down the road. He's talking to every church. He's talking to the bad. He says my people Are way down with iniquity and The ones that I turned into sons listen carefully have gone back to be in the offspring of evil doers Sons who act corruptly You was a donkey The lamb turns into a lamb and you don't went back to being a donkey Sniffing the way you watch sniffing the word. I wish I could preach that come on. What's your sniffing's what I ought to preach How many remember when you first heard this truth you were sniffing the word The minute you quit snuffing the words you'll start snuffing the wind Remember that They have abandoned Yahweh They have despised the Holy One of Israel. They have turned away from him Now this is a great judgment by Isaiah. They've gone from being sons to evil doers, but let's read verse 5 Why do you beg me to keep beating you? That's what it says Why won't you let me stop beating you I Read that first line. What does it say in verse 5? It says why? Do you want to be beaten again? Yeah, why do I why do you make me? Keep bringing you in circles and never going up. You're just going round and round and round Why because you sniff the wind Yeah Instead of the word I want you to hear me every one of you There's people in this ministry when you first came here. You couldn't get out of this word And now you sniffing and everything but the word Ignore me at your own peril darling But I'm talking to you God sent me to tell you tonight you sniffing the wrong things now. I Saw when you heard this message for the first time, please. I beg you to listen. I Saw when you heard this message the first time your nose sniffed it You couldn't get enough of it And now you're hardly here, you know why you smell something you're ready to move on you smell something and When you do that brother You're gonna become like these sons that begs for another weapon Marriages do you want? Hold on just hold on cuz I'm fixing to dig in that field You come here you get what God gives you and then you forget the word And You revolt against this message I Came tonight to preach How many more times y'all we says do you want me to keep beating you the same way? You'll do good you'll get ahead life gets good and then you start sniffing the wind And he said then I got to do it again That's when you go to the next church walking in the back door with your head hanging down Waiting for the altar call to pray back through your life's a mess again. I'm preaching to you Your life's a mess all over again Cuz you sniff the wind Instead of sniffing this message the Word of God How many times God said or do you want me to keep doing this to you? Because what does the feminine do it submits? We would have been like Sodom and Gomorrah Now notice what he said in verse number nine a very very very small remnant That word remnant in Hebrew means survivor Very few are going to survive sniffing the wind and turn into a daughter of Zion I will say it again a Remnant the Hebrew word is survivor This little daughter of Zion notice. He's talking about these rebellious jackasses and then he said but I've got a daughter of Zion She's not out there in her heat She's not sniffing wind. She's at her cottage of the cucumbers She's all by herself and that's okay Her church ain't very big and that's okay She's at peace serving her father He said if God if God wouldn't have left us somebody like Rick Connolly. Why is he calling Israel Sodom? Now all of a sudden Israel is Sodom That's what happens when you go back to being a donkey You lose your Israel status What's their name now Shana Why? You want to act like Sodom? You want to be like Sodom? I'll recognize you as a Gentile but Notice what notice what he said in verse number 11 now. Let me just read a verse of Scripture to you The reason they've become like Sodom Isaiah 3 and 9 says they display their sin like Sodom. They don't even hide their sin no more Somebody said by the vine you don't need why do you say God's about to judge America? There's always been homosexuals. There's always been lesbians They may have always been but we kept them in a closet We concealed it we hid it We didn't let them out But Isaiah 3 and 9 said now they don't want to even conceal it no more Here's what he said they don't want to hide it They display their sin They've now legalized their sin at the Congress See that's why judgments come into America Not because there's always been sin, but because we used to have enough shame to hide them people Now at the Lutheran Church in Greenville a Greensville, South Carolina Tomorrow today their guest preacher at the United Methodist Church was a drag queen They don't even conceal their sin anymore Why is he calling Israel Sodom now because in the house of Israel at one time yes There was sin, but you didn't celebrate it. You didn't make it comfortable. You didn't acknowledge it You didn't coddle it you didn't comfort it You rebuke those that sinned before all that others might not do it But he said now in my church since you no longer want to call sin out But you want to give them a visitor's card and make them feel like they belong Oh Brother Vonnick, this is a hot. There's a little daughter in a garden of cucumbers Still yet hold it on To this truth, I don't know about you, but I plan to be part of that remnant Now what happens in the next verse I still got a few more verses hold up what happens in the next verse Let's go to Isaiah 1 and 11, and this is where it gets real interesting And this is where I'm gonna preach stranded in the shadows He said verse 11 What purpose is all this dancing and being slain in the spirit and Running to the what what is the purpose of all this he said these sacrifices I Am actually Disgusted with it Your burn offerings your rams you fed bees I do not delight any longer in Your obedience to me Stranded in the shadows Stay with me because I'm not done You always said to this church Sodom That was still having church Still dancing across the front joining hands with everybody doing their dance Still bringing their ties and all obey and God God said I actually wish you would not even keep the Sabbath anymore I Will tell you why in a minute Listen what he said I'm sick of it. I don't delight in your worship anymore of The lambs and the goats when you come to appear before me Who has required this at your hands to tread my courts Now this is a radical departure from the religion of that day Isaiah is a prophet now He's coming into the church and the telling the priest God hates all this and the priest like well Huh it was God told us to do it Isaiah walks into the temple and God says to those people stop And they're like no God told us he said in his word that were to bring the blood of bulls lambs and goats were obeying God and It was God that told us in Exodus 34 and 23 to appear before me three times a year that that the priest told Isaiah What do you mean We're here and Isaiah said, but you're not here That verse that says when you come to appear before me Should have been translated when you come to appear before the face of the Lord If you walk in those doors and you don't realize that you're presenting yourself to the father he said Please don't keep this out of the day Because you're becoming stranded in the shadows Because these are shadows of things still to come You're keeping the shadow Oh Yes, you're here, but you're not here Well, I showed up Don't come You're here, but you're not here Because you're not presenting yourself before my face Y'all see the shadow on this wall look you see my arm moving on that wall. It's hidden in Christ Until you see beyond the Passover and you see him. You've gotten stranded Everybody asked me When I want to do it, just right. How do I eat the bread? How do I I want to do it? Just right? You know how you do it just right with all your heart If you don't get the details right you better get this the purpose, right? You better get behind that veil and say Lord of the Sabbath. I'm here on the Sabbath. Where are you?
