welcome to the new America the only hope for it is you the only hope for it is you what hope you getting off that couch getting out of that house getting out of yesterday and coming into the present you know the Bible said there is a time to mourn but there comes a time when mour becomes unhealthy there is a time to cry but then there comes a point where you get the spirit of mourning on you if you're not careful yes there has been a year for us Patriots to mourn the bad guys winning around in this war we have mourned at what happened we have wept at what happened we have cried at what happened and rightfully so there is a time for that that but I want to caution you across this nation if you don't hear anything else I said tonight hear this the left is depending on the spirit of mourning to remain upon the conservative cause they are depending on you and I to keep crying to keep ringing our hands and keep wondering what happened they are depending on defeat ISM to be our mindset they are depending on us to say no use in trying they are depending on that and if anyone is leading you in that direction they are part of the problem you must shake off the spirit of mourning you must trust God to correct that wrong to write that wrong and while he's writing that wrong wrong you're going to put your sword on and go back into the battle America cannot afford for you to stay in the graveyard Jesus Christ was about his father's business and there was some people that wanted to follow him and work with him in his calling and he said all right put on your sandals and let's go do you know what they told yua well we would go but before we leave we need to go to the graveyard and mourn over someone that we lost over someone that we love and yua turned to them and said what seemed like the most hateful words the way that my words sound sometime to you the way that president Trump's word sounds to the world what did yua tell them you need to let the dead bury the dead why there's nothing you can do back there there's nothing good you can do but while you're back there crying you could be getting the work done with the short amount of time left that you have left in this life or you can go to the graveyard and cry for days and I'll go and do my work before I run out of time every one of you America's running out of time I'm not saying that to be dramatic I'm not saying that to cause a reaction I am saying that to give you the truth America is running out of time and and and as long as you stay crying over what happened as long as you keep looking back like Lot's wife did she turned to a pillar of salt do you know what that means she became inconsequential the Democrats want us to all become pillars of salt I'm going to give you a rare truth right now that very few people will give you sometimes sometimes the bad guys win that's right sometimes they pull off their scheme sometimes they get it done but I can promise you every time every time Justice finds them it may be when they're old and gray-headed but they will not get by with it in the courts of heaven so with that understanding you need to leave the graveyard of 20 20 you need to make a decision I don't know what to do about 2020 I have no idea what I can do and the truth is you can't do anything only God can but I promise you there's much you can do in the future so you got two choices cry and ask why or smile and get back to the battle for a while and go to war against see I'm telling you the truth what you're hearing right now I know it's not what people want to hear the Bible said they have itching ears I know it's not what you want to hear but if you'll listen to me we'll win in 2022 I know we will they can't fix that many races they may have fixed fixed one but they can't fix hundreds of them go to work go to war and become part of the solution

Summary

In this message, Shane Vaughn urges listeners not to remain trapped in grief over past events but to move forward with renewed purpose. He acknowledges that Ecclesiastes 3 teaches there is a proper time for mourning, yet emphasizes that believers must eventually return to God's work. Using Luke 9:59–62, he applies Jesus' command to "let the dead bury their own dead" as a call to leave the past behind and focus on present responsibilities. He also references Genesis 19:26 to warn against continually looking back and 2 Timothy 4:3 to encourage accepting truthful teaching rather than merely seeking messages that appeal to personal preferences. The message concludes with an appeal for perseverance, hope, and faithful action.

Core doctrine

Christian Perseverance / Prioritizing God's Work / Hope / Spiritual Maturity / Faithful Endurance
