I'm going to read The Federalist Papers to you now everything in read is my writing my thinking as I try to explain what you've just read okay James Madison said among the numerous advantages promised by a well constructed Union none deserves to be more accurately developed than its tendency to break and control the violence of factions now bear with me you're GNA have to deal with some old English tonight but I'm going to break it down for you so what did he just say what what was all of that verbiage right there here's what he said they were creating a government that had a lot of good things to it but one of the greatest things they built in to our government was its ability to control the violence of factions what is a faction a group of people that want to have it their way no other way and all that matters is their little faction their little agenda now before we get started when Madison and the founders created this nation they did not envision a two-party system the two-party system sort of evolved on its own Madison and the founders envisioned a nation of many different parties or factions for example the green party the Tea Party the the uh whatever the Liberals call their party and the all and every one of these parties would balance one another out in the nation and not one faction would control the whole so what is he talking about the violence of factions how about black lives matters how about antifa what about the climate change communist these are all factions and Madison said we've built within this nation the ability to control their violence verse number two the friend of popular governments never finds himself so much alarmed for their character and fate as when he contemplates their propensity to this dangerous Vice what dangerous Vice the violence of factions he will not fail therefore to set a due value on any plan which without without violating the principles to which he is attached provides a proper cure for it so Madison so far says he's proposing a new government that will be able to successfully deal with AOC with antifa with black lives matters with all of these extreme factions we're building a government to deal with these dangerous vices violence factions that you and I should be very willing to embrace any government that is able to provide the Cure verse number three the instability Injustice and confusion notice that word confusion introduced into the public has been the Mortal disease under which popular governments have ever everywhere perished do you know what causes governments to perish he said confusion the violence of these parties that cannot exist together he said every government has failed because of these violent factions as they continue to be the favorite and fruitful topics from which the adversaries to Liberty derive their most specious declamations he calls these factions adversaries to Liberty verse number four the valuable improvements made by the American constitutions on the popular models both ancient and modern notice what he says we are improving on all previous governments of man we're creating a grand experiment he said he said it cannot be certainly too much admired but it would be an unwarrantable partiality to contend that they have as effectually obviated the danger on this side as we wished and expected so what all of he say in verse four very simple remember before the Republic was created in America we were here a hundred years under other forms of government the Magna Carta okay there was other constitutions that we existed under before we created the Republic and he said that those governments were pure democracies but he said now even even though those were improvements on the past we still have not solved the problem what problem these violent factions verse five complaints are everywhere heard from our most considerate and virtuous citizens equally the friends of public and private faith and of public and personal Liberty what was our founding fathers most concerned about the protection of public and private faith and public and personal Liberty he said our government is too unstable and the public good is going to be disregarded in the con conflict of rival parties and that measures are too often decided not according to the rules of law or the rules of justice and the rights of the minor party but by the superior force of an overbearing majority now here Madison is beginning to lay out the problem of democracy you've heard me teach on it a thousand times that democracy is a disease that you and I must despise democracy and now James Madison is saying for the last hundred years in America we've had a democracy the Magna Carta and everyone sort of uh you know democracy a pure democracy but he says now that we're finding tyranny of the majority that do not think past their own ideological interest in order to protect freedom for all in other words you may have a party that wants everybody to wear mask they have no concern of anyone else's individual Freedom they want to rule by tyranny with their own ideology verse number six however anxiously we may wish that these complaints had no Foundation the evidence of known facts will not permit us to deny that they are in some degree true in other words the founding fathers were admitting that the American government was flawed before they created the Republic they dealt with reality rather than a dream world verse seven it will be found indeed on a candid review of our situation that some of the distresses under which we labor have been erroneously charged on the operation of our government but it will be found at the same time that other causes will not alone account for many of our heaviest misfortunes and part particularly for that prevailing distrust of the government and alarm for private rights your right not to be vaccinated your right not to wear a mask your right not to be told you can't go to church he said we must create a government that protects the minority from those in the majority that has no concern for individual rights James Madison saw this day coming notice that the cry was then and now for what private rights this is what our Founders were more worried about than they were anything else was your private rights verse eight these must be chiefly if not wholly effects of the unsteadiness and Injustice with which a factious spirit has tainted our public administrations now now Madison's going to explain to you what he means by the word faction by a faction I understand it's a number of citizens whether amounting to a minority or majority of the whole who are united and actuated by some common impulse of passion or of Interest adverse to the rights of other citizens or to the permanent and aggregate interest of the community here's what he said I'll make it plain a faction is a group of people that has an agenda and they don't care if they have to burn your town down to get their agenda in your face that's a faction James Madison the entire 10th letter here is his fear of the only thing that can destroy America verse 10 so how do we deal with these factions here's what he said there are two methods of curing the mischiefs of faction the one remove the cause or control the effects so everyone class pay attention listen carefully Madison said how do we deal with the problem we got two choices and only two we remove what's causing the faction or we have to control the effects that's our two choices now if we're going to do that what is how how do we remove the cause here's verse number 11 there are again two methods of removing the cause of faction one by destroying the Liberty which is essential to its existence I hope you're hearing me tonight he said you can get rid of what's causing it well how do we do that well you've got to get rid of freedom of speech you have to take their Liberty away that's what North Korea does they have no factions in North Korea oh no no no factions you get rid of what causes faction action which is what your ability to speak your mind uh oh now I'm getting somewhere Facebook Twitter I'm gonna when I get done tonight and I get to my closing I'm gonna tie this all together for you he said all we have to do let's remove the liberty and we get rid of all of these factions or your other option is you give to every citizen the same opinion the same passions and the same interest so here's his solution you get rid of Freedom or you make the preservation of Freedom everyone's passion you make protecting individual rights and American passion you make individual liberty the passion that all Americans share and then they won't destroy one another for having a difference of opinion all right number 12 it could never be more truly said than of the first remedy what's the first remedy everybody d destroying the cause getting rid of Liberty he said it can never be more truly said than of the first remedy that that would be worse than the disease what is the disease factions differences of opinion different ideas speaking those ideas we can get rid of freedom but he said that would be worse than the disease of factions he said Liberty is to faction what air is to fire I love these Founders I would give anything to talk to James Madison this is I love I love their wisdom their knowledge he said Liberty is to factions what air is to fire an elet without which it instantly expires in other words you want to get rid of qu factions you just take Liberty away and you gotten rid of it but he said it could not be less Folly to abolish Liberty which is essential to political life because it nourishes faction then it would be to wish the annihilation of air which is essential to animal life because it imparts to fire it's destructive agency quite simply we can never have a fire you never want to have a fire it's real simple get rid of air there'll never be another fire but what are you doing to all of creation if you take away air you're getting rid of fire but the disee but the Cure is worse than the disease if you get rid of our ability to disagree and to talk about it without turning one another into villains without putting them on the front of your right-wing page because of what they said without turning them into scum without turning them into thesis because of what they believe without doing that you would have to take away Liberty now number 13 he has a second solution as long as the reason of man continues to be fallible as long as men are fallible and as long as their thinking is not perfect and as long as he is at Liberty to exercise his stupidity okay the way he thinks that that may not be correct it may be liberal which is craziness as long as he has that ability to express it to exercise it different opinions will always be formed now in North Korea you don't see different opinions you see everybody clapping to Kim Jong you smiling from ear to ear they're not allowed to think they're not allow allowed to go outside the government control Madison said as long as the connection exists between his reason and his selflove I want you to notice that word self-love I highlighted it for a reason he said as long as man has the ability to think and to love himself more than his brother his opinions and his passion will have a reciprocal influence on each other and the former which is what his self-love will be objects to which the latter will attach themselves what is Madison saying as long as men love themselves more than their brother they will place more value on their demands than your rights my Lord that is a mouthful well I tell you what that's a mouthful right there that is a mouthful I realize that this is a lot of technicalities tonight and I realize you got to focus but you got to understand what's really going on in America folks you got to grab what's really really really happening okay all we want to talk about is Intel but I'm trying to show you the problem as long as men love [Applause] themselves as long as they talk down to one another I I look at the House of Representatives and even the Senate now and it's like a it's like an animal cage the way they talk to one another used to not be that way used to they they at least disagreed but they did so civil but we're coming into an era now where this selflove is turning it into a a nightmare listen to number 14 the diversity and the faculties of men from which the rights of property originate is not less an insuperable obstacle to a uniformity of Interest the protections of these faculties is the first object of government what faculties he just told you the rights of your individuality your individual land your individual stuff you your right to choose your right to be free he said the protection of that is the first object of government as long as we live in a fallen World men will never be equal now now let me just break it down from the protection of different and unequal faculties of acquiring property the possession of different degrees and the kinds of property immediately results and from the influence of these on the sentiments and views of the respective Proprietors ensues a division of the society into different interest and parties James Madison what are you saying very simple life ain't Fair I'll tell you everything he said in verse 14 life is not fair and as long as Life Is Life and as long as one person is born rich one person is born poor one person person is born free one person is born a slave one person as long as these the unfairness of Life exist you will have factions and parties that Feast on those unfairnesses and build agendas around those unfairnesses you have some that own property and some that rent property the ones that rent property are taught to hate the ones that own the property yeah why it's unfair you have those that lend money and those that borrow money and the politicians will always try to turn the ones that borrow money against the ones that loan the money because James Madison said these are natural factions that will always exist among mankind I love what he says in verse 15 the cause of faction are sown into the nature of man and we see them everywhere brought into different degrees of activity according to the different circumstances of Civil Society I was born on this side of the tracks you were born on that one we separate into factions I'm taught to hate you you're taught to hate me then we go and we try to run a government with all of those factions I'm not going to read all of this but let's go to the highlighted part A Zeal well I'm GNA have to read some of it a Zeal for different opinions concerning religion con concerning government and many other points as well as speculation as of practice an attachment to different leaders contending for power or to persons of other descriptions did you hear that persons of other descriptions whose fortunes have been interesting to the human passion have in turn divided mankind into parties but then not only does it divide us listen to what they do next they inflame them with mutual animosity James Madison saw this day animosity the only way you're going to destroy our Republic and George Soros knows this you must create this animosity this Warfare this race Warfare because even our Republic cannot stand up against it I pray I'm not boring you tonight I I really didn't know if I wanted to do this tonight or not because it's so intense and I realize I won't keep everybody because I mean I'm losing a lot of people I can tell but anyway maybe I ought to just uh I just want you to be educated I just want you to be educated I want you to understand where this is coming from thank you everybody thank you everybody thank you thank you thank you thank you I appreciate those words okay then I'll keep up I'll keep going I just I don't want you to I I you gotta be educated so you know what you're fighting for all right so let's keep going I had well over but you know what I understand this is not emotional this is educational mortal man will always create Warfare from their perceived in justices in class money race or religion verse 16 so strong is this propensity of mankind to fall into mutual animosities that where no substantial occasion presents itself the most frivolous and fanciful distinctions have been sufficient to Kindle their unfriendly passions and excite their most violent conflicts in other words he's saying without a good form of government that we must create to control these factions there will be a continual state of War why do you think third world countries stay in war they don't have a good form of government like we have had here in America verse 17 but the most common and durable source of factions has been the various and an equal distribution of property the halves and the Have Nots those who hold property and those that are without property have formed distinct interest in society somebody say class Warfare it is the oldest factions in the world why do you think the Democrats play that game every day it works rich men let's tax them more it works the Democrats teach the poor man that the rich man is their enemy instead of telling the poor man the truth that the government is their enemy see it's an old old old faction the regulation of these various and interfering interest forms the principal task of modern legislation what does that mean the purpose of the legislative bodies is to create laws of fairness of equality not Equity but an equal opportunity for all that is the primary purpose of legislation now Madison is going to begin introducing us to his idea of a divided government no man is allowed to be a judge of his own cause because his interest would certainly bias his judgment and not improbably corrupt his Integrity with equal no with greater reason a body of men are unfit to be both judges and parties at the same time so here Madison is showing the seedbed of the government that he wants to form separating the lawmakers from the judges he's saying here we must have a third branch of government that keeps the lawmakers in check now let's go to verse 21 the most numerous party or in other words the most powerful faction will always Prevail in other words the majority party with the most people in the nation will always Prevail now Madison is about to show you the critical error of a democracy he says shall domestic manufacturers be encouraged to what degree are questions which would be differently decided by the landed meaning those that own land and the manufacturing class and no one would be deciding these things in regard to Justice and the public good here's what he's saying if factions are able to control no one is going to be looking out for the greater good of the nation no one's going to be looking out for justice and then he goes on in verse 23 and I'm not going to read it all but he says without the government that he is proposing no legislative act in which greater opportunity and Temptation are given to a predominant party to trample on what the rule of law what have I always taught you the beauty of our Republic is the rule of law he says unless we create the right government not a democracy the Temptation will be there for the predominant party to trample on the rule of law verse 24 it is vain to say that enlightened Statesmen will be able to adjust these clashing interest so in other words Madison says now don't tell me that we'll have Statesmen that will do the right thing because he says enlightened Statesman will not always be running things he must have saw Nancy y'all he saw Nancy what he said is short ided governments will make decisions based on the short-term political interest now he says the inference to which we are brought is the causes of faction cannot be removed remember there was two ways to get rid of factions you either got to make everybody agree on everything or you've got to get rid of freedom so in verse 25 he comes to a conclusion that the causes of faction cannot be removed remember at the beginning we had two options get rid of the cause or control the effect in other words get rid of air so there is no fire or have a bunch of fire extinguishers close by to control the effect of freedom Freedom has a price it does so here he says we cannot get rid of the cause so therefore we have one option control the effects if a faction consists of less than a majority relief is supplied by the Republican principle which enables the majority to defeat the Sinister views by regular vote in other words he said if we've got a minority that has no power it'll take care of itself but what about verse 27 when you have a majority like the Democrats that we have now what if the majority is the faction what if the majority is the one that says make everybody get vaccinated what if they're the ones that say make everyone accept same-sex marriage what if they're the one that is is bringing their faction into the majority now the Republic might have a problem and notice what he says that they will push this past the entrance and the rights of other citizens you have a right not to be vaccinated you have a right to protect your health how you see fit that's your right he's saying there would come a day when the majority would care less about the rights of other citizens verse 28 to secure the public good and private rights against the danger of such a faction and at the same time to preserve the spirit and the form of our government is then the great object to which our inquiries are directed here's what he's saying here's where we are how do we protect the public from such a faction and yet preserve the government in other words do we just get rid of government government we can't do that so now how do we get this government under control from a majority faction that's doing what they're doing today he said let me add that this is the great desom which means the desire this is our great Desire by which this form of government can be rescued from the appropri under which it is laboring here's what he said it is our desire to rescue the government they were under a democracy from this appr probium this problem your Constitution that you live under today was supposed to answer all of these de democracy problems I'm almost finished tonight all right so we now know the problem we know the solution what means is it obtainable how do we do it how do we do it listen to what he said if the impulse and the opportunity be suffered to coincide what the The Passion of the majority faction we well know that no moral or religious motives can be relied on as adequate control what's he's saying the only option then is war you can't rely on religious motive why do you think they're trying to get rid of religion in this nation it has controlled the masses it has kept us all with a love for our brother more than ourself why do you think a Christian Nation has been so successful because we're taught as children to love our neighbor as much as we love ourselves verse 30 from this view of the subject it may be concluded that a pure democracy by which I mean a society can consisting of a small number of citizens who assemble and Minister the government in person can admit of no cure for the Mischief of factions here's what he said democracy will not work ladies and gentlemen he's presenting now the idea in his mind in this man's mind is the government you now live under a government that was was supposed to answer the problems of democracy why do you think the Democrats love to talk about preserving our democracy because they wish they lived in a democracy where the majority had no concern for the rights of others and there is nothing to check the inducements let's start right here a common passion or interest will in every case be felt by a majority of the whole and there if there's nothing to check the inducements to sacrifice the weaker party or an obnoxious individual hence it is that such democracies everybody listen have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property and have in general been as shortlived in their lives as they have been violent in their death what did Madison just say democracies never work they always die do you know why we have outlived our death date in America because we're not a democracy we should have died a hundred years ago that's about the the length of life for democracies why are we still alive because of this paper I'm reading to you because these founding fathers despise democracy factions majority rulle James Madison said that theoretic politicians who have dreamed about this form of government democracy have supposed that by making or reducing mankind to perfect equality in their political rights everybody's equal let's make sure everybody gets paid the same minimum wage let's make sure everybody gets the same Medical Care let's make sure everybody's perfectly equal you know what James Madison just said about you you're a Daydreamer he called you a theoretic politician AOC he's talking to you darling he calls you a dreamer because it won't work he said at the same time you he said these politicians thought that by making everything equal that everything would be perfectly equalized and assimilated everybody would have the same possessions socialism hello their opinions would be the same their passions that's the People's Republic of China my friend verse 31 here it goes for the first time ladies and gentlemen being introduced to our founding fathers is what Professor too fights for day and night a republic he is about to introduce this idea of a republic that's going to solve the problems of a democracy but before I finish tonight I'm going to show you why even the Republic is on the verge of teetering and what we can do to stop it you know what I think I might do part two tomorrow night let's see let me look see if made a decision a year ago that I felt like the most important thing that our Patriots were not learning was about the Republic I realize it's been deep everybody I'm so sorry I feel like I made a choice to be a Defender of the Republic and you know a lot of people don't understand how important that message is it's not just words ladies and gentlemen it is total different paradigms total different ideas for America and as we begin to teach you the differences I gave you a foundation that you can stand on till you die of this great Republic and I want every one of you to know that I am committed to educating this Republic so that you can know what you're fighting for you're not fighting for issues you're fighting for principles get off the issue B wagon get off the every little issue remember what Donald Trump was for state rights federalism we are fighting to preserve what Madison created we are the minions of Madison we are the her AG of of of uh Hamilton we are the
