how many seen this and you've wondered what in the world is this all about okay brother EJ God bless you all right I want to explain to you why we wear this toite and help you to understand what this is all about turn that now most people don't know that this is not a Jewish thing okay most people think well that's a Jewish thing that they're doing it's not because the Bible is not a Jewish thing I don't know how the Jews get credit for stuff that's in the Bible the Bible was not just written for the Jews it was written for you okay when I walk in a church if I have
this on I get the funniest looks you've ever seen now but let me ask ask you a question and I want you to think about it today is there anything biblical brother V here's the first question are we required to wear these hold on before you answer let me teach the answer I'm going to answer your question with a question is it biblical for a man to come to church in a suit and a tie no does anybody question why you come to church in a suit and a tie no why it's Western culture when we see a suit in a tie and by the way I love them I wish more of
our men wore them it's a sign that you're a gentleman it's a sign that you you you're dressing up you don't have to wear them but I like them and in our society they say that you're you know you're preparing yourself for uh an event you wouldn't go to a wedding without a suit and a tie you wouldn't go to because in Western Society we attribute that to a certain message did you hear the word I just said message when you see a man in work cloth what is the message he's sending you he's ready to go to work sister Pat you sent a message today with your
casual close that's right that's your message that's your message and I saw that when I saw that last night you had a different message that's right what clo what do your clothes do they send a message if you see a woman dressed seductively what is her message she's catting she's she's looking for a man okay your clothes speak that's right when it's Sabbath night there's a reason we dress up we are saying that we have taken an extra step to make a day special right okay it speaks that's why when I see uh if you're a preacher here we always ask our ministers to always preach unless it's a
casual setting like this in a suit and a tie because we want to honor the sacred desk the pull pit my grand grand mother raised me and if a preacher tried to come behind the pull pit with casual clothes on she would literally throw a fit in the church because she said that this was holy up here this was a holy calling and that we should treat it in such a way so what does all that have to do with the toit I'll explain it to you and say that we don't need to have a Biblical command to wear a suit you don't need a Biblical command to wear a
toit okay this garment has a message behind it let's read that message numbers 15 37-38 thank you Elder you can remain seated in the Casual setting this morning thank you for being faithful to our tradition here numbers 15 37 and this is not today's lesson we're going to take a break right after this and give y'all a little time before while we wait for everybody to get here 37 through 38 someone read that for me again the Lord spoke to Moses saying speak to the children of Israel tell them to make tassels on the corner of cor so he said make a garment and put blue on
it and put tassels on it okay so let me ask you this Yahweh designed this garment who designed yours Hallelujah this came straight from Yahweh amen he said I want you to create a garment because everything on that garment is going to say something the blue is going to say what how many's ever been pulled over by a police officer what color lights do you have behind you the law is chasing you when you wear this you tell everyone the law is chasing you that you're wrapped in the law of God hallelujah okay so the blue is for the law the blue represents God what is the
sky blue it represents Heaven this is a Heavenly garment that's why we wear it now for those that don't understand why we wear it I don't understand why you go around looking like you look I have a Biblical command and to make a garment not for salvation that's the problem people's got this whole save thing in their head okay it ain't got nothing to do do you have to do this to be saved God no but nine times out of 10 if you won't do it might be worried about if you really you know cuz God said he loved do y'all know that Yahweh designed
this why wouldn't you want to wear it Hallelujah Yahweh himself said how to make it and told his people to wear it the way he designed it now do y'all know that I have a request from the Holy One of Israel to wear this did you realize that we have a request from the Holy One of Israel to make you a garment made of blue with tassels and to wear it around your shoulders somebody said it's a Jewish thing it's a God thing God thing hallelujah it's a God thing so what does this ancient garment symbolize let's go to numbers 15 39-40 Read It verse 39 and it shall be unto you read
louder and it it and andar out your own and your own after whenever I wear this brothers and sisters I I am displaying not Judaism I am displaying the Royal law of the universe this garment is not Jewish at all but rather it is the mark of a man who is clothed in the Commandments of [Music] Yahweh and I'll tell you why the church hates to see you wear this toite because what is the purpose of it to remind you of the law that they think has been done away with if you want to drive church folks insane put put this around you now if you'll notice in a lot of my
teaching videos I don't wear this I'm sure you've noticed and you know on YouTube there's a reason I don't all the time because when people first see it they attribute me as being into Judaism and it it will stop them from hearing my message so but in the local assembly I do wear for ordinations but I encourage every one of you to learn the beauty of the toite if nothing else just when you come to the altar to pray you just drape it over your it's a symbolism that you are covered in the Commandments of God and it's a beautiful symbol so it's just like your wedding ring he said when you
look at it that blue will remind you of the law of God
Summary
In a casual gathering of the local assembly, the speaker explains why he wears a fringed garment with blue, which he says is not a Jewish thing but biblical. He compares it to a suit and tie, arguing that clothing sends a message, and reads Numbers 15:37-40 on making tassels and blue on garments. He says the blue represents the law and heaven, that the garment is not required for salvation, and encourages members to wear it, especially when coming to the altar to pray.
