constantly hear the voice of God uh and then there's others in the church that seem to never hear the voice of God which Camp do you fall in many people have asked me um my wife Karen especially is always hearing the voice of God she can be looking at a bottle of shampoo or she can be and and she's always hearing something that God is speaking (01:06) to her I've been very lucky in my Ministry since the age of 14 to be hearing the voice of God especially in a service where people are and then the Lord would use me to call them out and to encourage them or to speak something that I was hearing and yet I meet many Christians that say to me you know I never hear hear the voice of God there is a reason for that and I want to explain that reason to you today and perhaps help you to be able to hear the voice of God would you go with me to Mark chapter 4 I'd like to read something to you Mark (01:49) 4 and verse 24 before we read that there is a parable in the scriptures where Jesus is talking about being a good Steward of finan and he says in that Parable that whatsoever measure you meet it shall be measured unto you what he meant by that was however you treat your finances is what you're going to get out of them if you're negligent with them you're going to wind up empty-handed but if you are careful with your finances then you're going to re you're going to get more finances and so the reason I pointed that out is because when we come (02:30) to Mark 4: 24 and we begin to talk about the voice of God we're going to find the exact same verbage that Jesus uses here's what he said Matthew 4:24 and he said unto them take heed what you hear with what measure you meet it shall be measured unto you see the exact same verbiage as we had when he was speaking about finances and unto you that hear shall more be given now that verse seems a little bit insignificant doesn't seem to say much but it says so much it says the reason that some people hear the voice of God (03:20) and why some people do not number one in the Garden of Eden there was two people fighting or if you will two people competing to speak to Adam and Eve one was the voice of God but there was another voice and it was the voice of the serpant Lucifer both of these voices was speaking because one voice said don't touch that tree but another voice is speaking God didn't mean what he said go ahead and touch it of course we know the rest of the story they heeded to the wrong voice and the sad result is therea we have no record of them hearing the (04:04) voice of God anymore why because of this very Parable that I just read to you Jesus Yeshua teaches us how important it is to treasure and to be a good Steward of every word that we get from God basically here's what he says take heed with what you hear in other words be very cautious be very Discerning and understand what you hear in other words when you watch this video right now how will you handle what you're hearing will you be nonchalant and Blas about it will it just be somebody else talking to you or will you pick up will (04:58) you receive will you hear what you need to be hearing a word from God the purpose is this if you hear and you take heed and you treasure it like your finances whatsoever measure you receive it however you treasure it will determine how much more you will hear there's a reason that some people always hear the voice of God because they take heed in how they treasure it it means everything to them when God speaks to them when a prophet may give them a word or they get a word from the Bible it's treasure to them it's greater than money it is their (05:46) true wealth and therefore we take heed when we hear a word from God we take heed to it and we treasure it and by doing so and being a steward of that word and not just being a steward but a doer of the word we hear correction we change our ways we hear a word from Yahweh we change we hear the word and we do the word and to those that will do the word you will begin to hear more of the word notice what yua said to him that Treasures this word to him that Treasures my voice he's going to get more voice he's going to get more word (06:28) to him that hears a revelation and grabbs it with excitement and receives it it illuminates him he turns him on it it then that person is going to get more of it every day until my God so much every day it's just Lord okay thank you Lord my wife and I will walk around all the time and one of us has always said Thank you Lord for that I got it I got it why because we are so enchanted by the word it means life to us when we get a revelation of where we've been wrong about something perhaps we were doing something uh you know we were involved (07:02) we we've come to find out recent years we were involved with Pagan practices in the church and didn't realize it we cherished it we heard it we didn't try to fight it we grabbed it we said my word never again thank you Lord and now this is why so many of us it seems like a constant speaking to us because Yahweh knows we treasure oh I feel his presence we treasure we treasure the word and we treasure his voice there are some that do not treasure his voice and how do we know that because of their response to the word oh if it's a word that they (07:42) like it's a word that they're used to hearing that they know how to say Amen to see that's fine but if it's a word that comes to them that's correction perhaps it's a revelation that's not familiar to them they'll cut it off they'll completely cut it off no treasuring of the word there are several ways that Yahweh speaks to us and I want to go over a few of those ways with you if you don't mind number one he speaks to us with his voice sometimes it's audibly other times he speaks to us like he has through other people in the Bible (08:19) through circumstances Yahweh has a way of taking your circumstances and speaking to you through your circumstances maybe it was a divorce maybe it was when you lost everything you had maybe it was the death of a child or a loved one and as you as you went through that circumstance he spoke to you the circumstance itself may have spoken to you the other way that Yahweh speaks to us is through Godly counsel sometimes we go to someone and we're saying Lord I need to hear your voice and his voice comes through that (08:58) other believer that is speaking Godly counsel maybe it's your pastor maybe it's your prayer partner maybe it's some other spiritual leader and as they're speaking Godly counsel to you that is the voice of God treasure it cherish it grab hold of it when you go through your circumstances listen for the voice and whatsoever measure whatsoever uh value you put on The Voice will determine whether he's going to keep speaking to you or not you know it's sort of like in a marriage when I'm speaking to my wife and I you (09:32) know I I have a great Revelation perhaps and I run to wherever she's at and I begin to tell it to her if she's not listening I'm not as apt to continue talking same with her and me and she and and and it's the same way with Yahweh if you're not listening don't expect and don't even say I want to hear the voice of God you do hear it but you don't treasure it another way that Yahweh speaks to us is through visions and dreams many times not all the time but many times in our dreams like Joseph and David and Solomon he will speak to us in (10:11) our dreams listen carefully listen to it how else does he speak to us I'd like to show you one of my favorite ways that he speaks to us uh he can speak to us through a prophet absolutely through someone that's teaching us the word he can speak to us but there's a way that we all often uh we often Overlook and um I'd like to show you he speaks to us through our thoughts there's a scripture in the Bible and I'm going to try my best to look it up real quick and uh it says that whenever this man was thinking or in his thoughts that (10:51) uh that that Yahweh spoke to him in his thought when you get an idea maybe it's a business idea maybe you're just sitting there and all of a sudden this thought comes out of nowhere because he speaks to us in our thoughts always remember that there's another way that Yahweh speaks to us in nature perhaps it's through a flower perhaps it's through an animal perhaps you're out you're just looking up at the moon and you see the message you hear the message that he speaks to us through nature nature was his first Bible he speaks to (11:25) us through prophets and he speaks to us of course through his Bible his holy word and you know the Bible says that Faith cometh by hearing and hearing the word we can pick up this Bible and begin to study it and hear the voice of God you can watch me teach you from this book and hear the voice of God there's one final thing that I would say to you he speaks to us through the Heavenly Dimension uh through a frequency called The Heavenly frequency you know you know in this room where I'm at right now there's frequencies of every kind (12:04) everything has a frequency and We Know that heaven has a frequency where that sound of Heaven travels and rests upon our spiritual ears and if we tune in like Adam and Eve should have tuned in if we tune in through prayer prayer connects us to the Divine frequency so I want to encourage you today begin listening for The Voice begin listening take heed in how you hear a word from the Lord because he that takes heed how he hears the word of the Lord
