Pastor Shane Vaughn Teaches" Part 15 "And They Sang A New Song" - Fruit In The Valley
Shane Vaughn ——— First Harvest Ministries International
When we left Song of Solomon last time, first we were in verse number 10. And we said, "Who is she that looks forth the morning as fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners?" If you'll remember, right before that, uh the Lord was revealing the bride to the other daughters of Jerusalem. And they wanted to know why this girl was so much more special than them. In other words, we love you, we are saved, we go to the church. Why did you choose this woman over everybody else?
And as he began to explain to them why he did it, he told them, he said, uh "Who is she that looks forth like the sun of the morning? She has a face of steel. She's looking out with unflinching eyes at the coming of the millennial reign, at the of the marriage supper of the Lamb." And so, after uh they ask, "Who is she?" He says in this next verse, why he chose her above all the other women in verse 11. He said, "I went down into the garden of nuts." Well, that's about where he found us. I went to the garden of nuts and found her. Hallelujah.
He said, "I went to the garden of nuts to see the fruits of the valley, and to see whether the vines flourished, and the pomegranates budded. Listen to what he said. Here's why I chose her. In the valley she had fruit. That's why I chose her. I went to the valley looking to see if she would have fruit in the valley. And tonight I want to talk to you about what it's going to take to be chosen for the end-time bride. You will have to have fruit in your valley. You may be seated tonight. Why did he choose this girl out of all the others? Because she had something in the garden.
I want to say to y'all tonight the only way that you will be different from the church world. When I say the church world, I'm not speaking about church folks that are doing I'm talking about those that are half in and half out. It's not really they're in they're sitting on a pew, but their heart's not in the church. That's who I'm referring to. Yahweh has called everyone but the past to salvation. But there's going to be one girl among all the sisters that he chooses.
And he said, "The way you'll know is because she's going to have something in her garden that I love." And ladies and gentlemen listen to me carefully. It's not going it's not going to be any gifts of the spirit she might have. He said, "I didn't go in her valley looking for the gift of prophecy. I didn't go in her valley seeing if she could cast out devils. I didn't go in her valley to see if she could run the aisles of the church. I didn't go looking to see brother Kendrick if she could could call people out and tell them their names and addresses.
I wasn't looking for a wife that was gifted. I was looking for a wife that was fruited. Fruitful. He said, "I went to the valley to see if the vines were flourishing." And tonight I want to ask you tonight, are your vines flourishing in the valley? Now, I realize that many of you don't understand that whenever the Lord fills you with the Holy Spirit I realize that gifts come with it. But let me tell you what does not come with the Holy Spirit. Fruit. You might get gifts immediately. You might get you know, fall out and hit the floor and climb the walls and that may come immediately.
But fruits don't come immediately. Fruit do not come immediately at all. Fruit goes through the process of time. And if you want to know if he's going to choose you I'm going to show you what he's looking for. Galatians chapter 5. This is what he's looking for. Hallelujah. For those watching live, thank you for joining us. Tonight, we're just having a little Bible study, and not really preaching this evening. Galatians chapter 5, verse 19. You want to read that, Elder? Sure. For me, my eye don't have my glasses and my This print's not quite big enough. There was a time I didn't need glasses.
You need more than a few pair. Okay. Turn him down some, brothers. Way too loud. Um Galatians 5:19. Now, the works of the flesh are manifest be seated because we're going to read this whole chapter. Go right ahead. Now, the works Let's turn him down. Go ahead. Now, the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these: Okay. He said, "I went to the valley." You may have to sit over here instead of being in front of that speaker, brother. He said, "I went to the valley, and I was looking for something. Here's what I was not looking for. Works of the flesh.
If you have these works of the flesh in your life, you will not be in the 144,000. Because he went to the valley of nuts to find fruit. Well, he found the nuts. Let's hope he finds the fruit. He said, "WHEN I GOT DOWN THERE, I DIDN'T find these things." Read. Adultery. I didn't find adultery. Fornication. I didn't find fornication. Uncleanness. I didn't find uncleanness. Lasciviousness. Lasciviousness. Idolatry. Idolatry. Witchcraft. Witchcraft. Hatred. I didn't find any hatred. Variance. No variance. Emulations. Read. Wrath. Strife, seditions, heresies. I didn't find any of that.
I didn't find people striving with one another. I didn't find any of this when I went to the valley. I also didn't find what? Verse 21. Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revelings, and such like of the of thee, which I tell you before. As I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of Yahweh. So, they asked him, "What's the difference in her and us?" He said, "When I come to your valley, I find all of these things. I find the works of the flesh." Listen to me. The works of the flesh are easy. They require no restraint. They require no bridle.
It's so easy to do the works of the flesh. It's so easy to hate people. It's so easy to do those things. I mean, that's just That's easy to do. Uh it's easy for a dog to walk by and and and urinate on your flowers. That's just what dogs do. There's no restraint. Now, once you train the dog not to do it, then they quit doing it. What comes easy for me and you is all of those things. Drunkenness, reveling, uh uh uh all of the things that the flesh is made happy by. He said, "I went to the valley and I could not find these works of the flesh, no matter where I looked at all." Amen.
Thank you, Father. Number 22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love. Um let's read and find out what he did find in the valley. He found the first thing is love. Love. That's Paul's right there. Love is not easy. That's right. Love's not easy. Human love is easy. But agape love is not easy. You will spend your whole life developing love. It doesn't come natural. Now, love of self comes natural. But loving the way God loves does not come natural. Let me turn to Ephesians. Stay right there and I'll go read in Ephesians 5: 29. For no man has ever yet hated his flesh.
You heard what it said, William? Nobody has ever hated their self. Cuz if you hate yourself, you don't brush your teeth. Amen. You don't take a shower. You Nobody in here hates their self. We all, Brother Nathan, take care of ourselves. We go to work to take care of Self. Self. We are a lot like Satan in that regard. We are all that matters. Through your Christian life, you will learn to change that love of self to love of others. That's hard. It's hard for me. It's hard for anybody. Why? We were created to survive and take care of self.
But then we go to Mount Bashar with this row and this king of humility and while we're there he teaches us what real love is and it's what he has and all of a sudden now we must begin to develop the same kind of love that he is demonstrating to us and he says in Ephesians, "No man has ever hated his own flesh but nourishes it and cherishes it even as the Lord takes care of the church." Philippians 2 and 3. In other words, to exercise true godly love is to go against the natural human instinct of self-preservation. By putting the concerns of others above our own. That's what love is.
That's You want to know what love is? It's fighting your desire to preserve yourself. You'll find that in an argument when you're arguing with someone else. All you really want is to preserve your view. Preserve what you think we really don't want to hear what they have to say. It's not human. As a matter of fact, when you talk with most people, Sister Justina, they're waiting for you to shut up so they can respond. That's human. There is a love of self inside of us that will not be in the kingdom of God. What did he say?
Any if you have any of these works of the flesh, you will not inherit this government. But that woman in the Song of Solomon moved beyond self-love. I pray for the day that First Harvest Ministries moves beyond self-love. And that we love our neighbor. Listen to these words, Sister Pask. As much. I want y'all to think about these words. Just let them percolate. Love me as much as Janice loves Janice. It's impossible. It's impossible, man. Sister Kendrick, it's humanly impossible. You can't do it on your own. You cannot love me as much as you love Bacon and Janice. It's humanly impossible.
Because you didn't call me to make sure all my bills were paid this month. You made sure yours was. My point, what makes this woman different than her sisters? She had fruit in the valley. And the first fruit she has is love. I want to talk more about love. Yeshua said to love your neighbor as much as you love yourself. I want to say something and I want to say it boldly. If you don't love your neighbor as much as you love yourself. By the way, that word neighbor is a mistranslation. It's your brethren. We are called to love the body of Christ as much as we love ourselves.
Sister Carolyn, if you don't do it, you will not be in the first resurrection. We can all fool ourselves all we want to. We can all come to church and and jump and scratch and that's good. Go ahead and do it. And you just going to have to jump up in the second resurrection. But if you're going to inherit the kingdom, hatred is is a form of self-love because you're not worried about the other person, the other man. You know, one thing I love most about First Harvest Ministries is this. I've never seen anyone move here except for the Dini family. That's cuz nobody knew they were coming.
But I've never seen anyone move here or away from here that our men was not loading and unloading their vehicles. Why? This church is full of love. But no matter how full it is of love, it needs to get more full and more full and more full. If we TRULY WANT TO QUIT deceiving ourselves, we've got to get out of ourselves. Amen. Whenever uh I go to the Lord every day. I I tell him, "Help me to love people more so that I can be counted worthy of the coming kingdom of God." Now, the sad thing about it, I'm talking right now, and you know what?
Some of y'all going through the motions of listening, but I want to say it again. If you do not develop the fruit of agape love, you are fooling yourself. Come on. Amen. You're fooling yourself. And so, I also want to bring you another side of this coin from Hebrews chapter 12 verse 6. Now, there's another form of love that people don't want to talk about. But, the truth is, if we love one another, we protect one another. And we look out for one another. Hebrews 12 and 6. FOR THE LORD loves No, for whoever the Lord loves, he beats them. He whips them. Yes.
So, this is what drives me crazy when people see me correcting saints and they tell me I need more love. Baby, I just showed you all the love you will ever get. Tough love. That's the best love. So, I really COME TO TELL YOU THAT LOVE is not this gushy emotion. The truth is, what's love got to do with it? If love is that gushy emotion, that will come and go. If if you love William and you never correct him, that's not love. That's what child molesters do. Child molesters love children. Just watch them. Oh, candy. Come sit on my lap and let me love on Candy. You've got to learn what love is.
Some of you have found more love under my correction than you'll ever find under my smiles or my hugs. Why? Because my smiles won't save you. Did you hear me? My hugs won't save you. Correction will. When we learn to correct one another, then we are loving one another. YAHWEH SAID, "IF I LOVE YOU." NOW, THAT'S A strong statement, brother Nathan. Evidently, he's not correcting everybody. That's why your neighbor, sister Owens, can get by with what you can't get by with. They can go and run wild and live and then the father never punishes them. Cuz they're not his.
But let some of you try to act up, Denisa, go back to being a hoochie mama like you used to be. Oh, you told me you was? Oh, tough. Sorry. What's the difference? I'm sorry. Okay. What Oh, you was a hoochie mama? I'm sorry. I got to get all y'all figured out. Hallelujah. Oh, no. Okay, I didn't know the difference. All right, so you was that, right? You try to go back to that and it'll last about 6 months. And you'll wind up flat of your face. Why? You're his. Called you. He called you. Those that he called, he chastises them. He puts them in the lake of fire and he burns them. That's love.
And so tonight, when we as a congregation, when we come to you and say, "PRAY HARDER." "DANCE HARDER." "COME ON, CRY OUT TO THE LORD HARDER." AND YOU'RE LIKE, "WELL, JUST LET ME DO MY THING." WE WOULD IF WE DIDN'T LOVE YOU. IF WE COME TO YOU AND SAY, "HEY, SAY THAT A LITTLE bit sweeter." They put a little honey ON IT. WELL, THAT'S LOVE. IF NOT, THEN WE TURN INTO A CHURCH. AMEN. AMEN. And I never want to be a church. THEY GOT CHURCHES IN TAMPA. THEY GOT CHURCHES IN COVINGTON.
THERE'S CHURCHES EVERYWHERE, BUT THE FATHER IS GIVING US AN ABILITY TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER IN SUCH A WAY THAT WE SHOW OUR LOVE NOT only in our actions, but in our corrections and in everything that we do in this ministry. Hallelujah. We're trying to develop the love. You need more love in you today than you had yesterday. Love overlooks. Love Love when someone hurts you, the love in you is stronger than the hurt. Love is so forgiving that it forgives before you even ask for it. You're already forgiven.
I sent a message to a friend of mine yesterday on inbox and I said, "No matter I You're already forgiven." Uh you We've got to learn this love of God. It comes as a fruit of the Spirit. Amen. Was that the end of verse six? No. And he scourges every son that he receiveth. If you endure chastisement, God will deal with you as sons. For what son is he whom the Father chastises not? But if you are without chastisement, then you are a bastard. Who is going to be Amen. I love what it says in verse 9.
Furthermore, we've all had fathers of our flesh that corrected us and we gave them reference when they spanked us. Yes. But we won't accept it from the hands of the Lord. Come on. Through his ministers. Come on, pastor. Amen. The judge in the court down the street corrects you, we reference. But not in the church. There was a time it wasn't like that. This church, and I've come up here tonight to destroy one lie of the enemy. Don't say you're looking for love if you're not looking for correction. Because that is what love is. Amen. Amen.
Now, keep reading the next thing he found in that valley. In Song of Solomon. No, I'm sorry. In Galatians. Verse 22, joy. The next thing he found in the valley was joy. Joy in the valley. Do you know why he's going to choose some people and not the other? Because they don't have the fruit of joy. Come on, pastor. I I want to read a scripture for you, John 15 and 11. Saint John 15 and 11. These things have I spoken unto you that my joy might remain in you. And that your joy might be full. Here's what he said. The Greek word for joy is chara. It means cheerfulness, delight, and gladness.
Let me ask you this. If people walk in your valley of nuts, do they find cheerfulness, joy, and gladness, or do they find Amen. I'm the bride of Christ. Come on, pastor. Amen. I'm a Sabbath keeper. I'm going in the resurrection. Amen. He's looking for He's looking for some fruit. Amen. Joy. But the beautiful thing is, it's not your joy. It's his joy. Now, Brother Vaughn, how do I have his joy? It's very simple. He told you in that verse. You just missed it. He told you how to have his joy in that verse we just read, but you missed it. Let's see if you can catch it next time.
I'm going to read it again. John 15:11. These things have I spoken unto you that my joy might remain in you. Let's try it again. These things have I spoken unto you that my joy might remain in you. In other words, if you don't have my word in you, you can't have my joy in you. I have spoken my word. AND IF MY WORD WILL remain in you every day, YOU'LL HAVE JOY in the valley. You will have a cheerfulness when you don't even know why you're cheerful. I mean, you'll be busted, dead broke, disgusted, woo, and still smiling like an idiot. Amen. Amen. Hallelujah.
The world, that's what they think of you. You're an idiot. I mean, literally, you you JUST FINISHED YOUR LAST EBT, YOUR LAST food stamp, and they won't raise your limit. Blessed be the name of the Lord. THERE'S A JOY YOU can't explain. And it comes from the word never leaving you. Amen. The moment you the word of God leaves your life is the moment you will not have joy. Amen. Are you evidencing joy in your life? I want to ask you right now.
Uh if I was to arrest you, Brother Past, tomorrow and bring you to jail, and I'm charging you with the crime of having joy, and I bring you to the court, and the jury looks at you, could they convict you of that charge? Can you be convicted of having joy? People are watching. The jury watches you every day. It's your family. It's your enemies. It's your friends. Every day when you don't have joy, there's no fruit in your valley. And and everything you're telling people about God is a joke to them because you have nothing that shows them joy. Everybody's got joy when things are good.
The world has joy when things are good. Hallelujah. It's it's natural, but there is an unnatural joy. Yes. Come on. There's an unnatural joy. And it's WHEN YOU COME DOWN to Mississippi, and you you fixing to move into your new home you just bought, AND YOU FIND OUT you don't have a home. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And you still riding around town like a bunch of smiling monkeys. Because you heard his word. Amen. Amen. The word remained in you. Yes. The word remained in you. Hallelujah. The word remained that that's where I'm supposed be.
So, if the word remains in you, Brother Nathan, there is a joy. He said, "If my words remain in you," he said, "there will be a joy, and it's my joy." And the only excuse you ever have for not having a smile, for not having joy, is if his joy runs out. Come on. And his joy don't run out. It's new every day. Every day you wake up, my my feet hit the bed, the first words out of my mouth, "Thank you, Yahweh, for waking me up one more day. Don't let me waste this day, Father. Let me do something for your glory today." Why, and that's where my joy starts coming. Amen?
That's, brothers and sisters, start your day in joy, and you'll end your day WITH JOY, BECAUSE JOY IS UNNATURAL. The world don't have joy. Go to Walmart. Oh. I'm telling you, I ain't never seen so many mad people in my life. Amen. And what's so sad, I look around the church tonight, I said, "But y'all all going to heaven." Or wherever y'all going. Your face should be so full of that you're just so glad to be here. The joy unspeakable. Full of glory. Your joy will show up on your facial expression. Your joy will show up in how you present yourself.
I'm asking in the new song that we're learning, there got to be fruit in the valley of nuts. Hallelujah. That's a good sermon title. There's got to be fruit in the valley of nuts. Hallelujah. Amen. And so, therefore, the word uh joy, of course, gladness. cheerfulness When I watch some of you walk in church, I'm like my God, they lost their fruit. cheerfulness smiling from ear to ear When I walk through them doors, y'all don't know I probably just got off the phone with a situation in the church. Amen.
That's probably got me thinking a million things, but when I walk through them doors among the saints there is a joy that comes across my face because I've got a joy that cannot go away. It doesn't matter what I go through. I'm going to have joy if the word remains in me. Amen. How many of you want that overflowing joy? Hallelujah. Amen. Um, I want to read to you Hebrews 1 and 9. I want to show you how to have more joy than anybody in the world. Hebrews 1 and 9 You have loved righteousness. You've hated sin.
Therefore God, even your God has anointed you with an oil of gladness above everybody else. Why? You love the Lord, you hate sin. That just gives you an oil and anointing of gladness. Does anybody here tonight want to be anointed with gladness? I do. Well, if you'll fall in love with righteousness, which is these, and if you'll fall out of love with sin, there'll be an anointing of gladness come on your life where you're just glad working out in the heat when you you you know, you may be sweating, but you're glad to be working for the Lord cuz you love righteousness.
You just love working for the Lord, working for your family, and there's an oil of gladness Amen. that comes over you. Hallelujah. What else is he looking for in the valley of nuts? Peace. Peace. Peace. Yeshua said in John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give unto you." I want you to hear me tonight. If you don't have peace, you probably don't have the Holy Spirit. "My peace I give you." Yes. That comes in that Holy Spirit package. So, if you don't have peace tonight, you've probably grieved the Holy Spirit. And he's taken his flight from your life. My life is in perfect peace.
Amen. All the time. I promise you. No matter what's going on, I may have everything in the world going on, but there is a peace because it's not my peace. He said, "My peace Come on. I give to you Hallelujah. if my word remains in you." That's right. The peace comes with the word. Every day you should listen to a sermon as you're starting your day. You should get on FHTV and find the message of the day. Pick one. Any one you push will work. And just let that word abide in you. It'll be better than tonight's lesson that we got some good stuff out there, but still you'll it'll bless you. Amen.
Um the word peace is translated from the word eirene, which means peace, quietness, at rest. That's why the Bible said we should be of a meek and a quiet spirit. Because we're not up in battle. We're not up in war. We have peace like a river. Many have said to me, "Brother Von, when I call people to account and I make people face the music, if you will, well, blessed are the peacemakers." First of all, here's what you don't know, my dear darling friend. The way you make peace sometimes is with war. Yes, sir. Anytime good confronts evil, there's going to be war that will lead to peace.
So, when they come at you, "Well, I don't want to deal with it. Blessed are the peacemakers. I'm trying to make peace." We're going to war. And when this is over, there will be peace. So, don't let people come to you all with that fake "I'm going to make peace." In other words, we need to avoid any confrontation. We need to avoid any No, we don't. The Bible said, "Come, let us reason together." We going powwow. We going to war. And when that war is over, there will be peace. Because the truth will come out. And everyone will know it. And then we can have peace.
Otherwise, when you think you have Let me tell you. Lord, I don't want to preach tonight. I'll tell you what. Let's just do it this way. When Cuz he keeps telling me stuff and I'm trying not to listen. Listen. Here's what happened. A lot of times what you call Oh, we've overlooked things. There's finally peace in the church. No, no, no. There's a volcano brewing. That's all that. Oh, yeah. We let's don't deal with that later. What the fine. But you will deal with it. Only when it's gotten so bad it blows the whole thing up. Right.
When there is conflict, the only way to peace is not ignoring the conflict. It is we got to talk. Well, I don't want to talk. We got to talk. to talk. Well, it's not my personality. I know your personality is to chicken out, run, and hide, but we got to talk. Okay? We need peace. Blessed are the peacemakers. Here's how we're going to make peace. There's going to be three witnesses that's going to listen to both of us. Amen? And when we get done, we will find peace and we will be flowing with tears down our eyes, hugging one another, forgiving one another. There will be peace. Amen.
So, don't let people come to y'all with this fake peacemaking stuff, okay? So, you just got to know that war brings peace. And so, sometimes that Let me ask you, do y'all not believe Yeshua is a peacemaker? But how many times has he come in your life and brought a storm? You know why he brings a storm? So, he can calm the storm. Amen. He brings a storm SO HE CAN SHOW YOU WHAT'S WRONG IN you and then calm that storm. Now you got peace. Amen? Same way in a marriage. If you don't talk about it, if you don't have a little war, I like a little war in my marriage. It leads Peace, peace.
Wonderful peace. Oh, yeah. Yeah, you got to have a little war. Amen. Because if you if you if you don't have a little war, you go have a no peace. Always married couples 10 years I've been married No, 9 years, almost 10 years. To my wife, and we have tried our best. We've not always succeeded, but we have tried our best to deal with things as they come up. A little war is good. Okay? And trust me, she's can be a handful. I can be a handful. And we powwow. Amen. Never laid my hands on her, never touched her. Any man that touches a woman is is a homosexual. He's not a man.
Men don't touch their wives. Y'all hear me, brothers? Matthew, you never lay your hands on a woman, son. Ever. If you've got real authority, you don't have to do that. I didn't say you would, I'm just telling you as cuz you're under my my care. But a little powwow brings peace. So, when people say, "I'm tired of you know, uh let's just ignore it. No, we don't need no more drama in the church." Most of the time when people say they don't want drama, what they're saying is they don't want to be held accountable. Because accountability brings drama. In marriage.
I mean, how are you going to tell your wife when she just caught you cheating, "I DON'T WANT NO DRAMA. I AIN'T GOING TO TALK ABOUT IT." YEAH, BABY, IT'S GOING TO BE MORE drama now than it was in the beginning. No drama, no peace. I don't want no drama. Well, then you shouldn't have did what you did. Hallelujah. Praise God. You can't create drama and then scream I DON'T WANT DRAMA. AMEN. Is this all right? It's all right. This is good. I'm just trying to help you know how to walk in peace. You got to if Brother uh Elder Morgan is employed by me.
uh If there's ever a miscommunication or misunderstanding or about money or anything the time to ask me is right then. The time for me to say, "Hey, tell me what's going on. What progress have we made?" Tell me right then. I don't need to sit there in my mind and think you I To the devil it gets you to thinking all kind of things. Yeah. Deal with it. Amen. And then move on. And leave it there. Amen. So, we've got to learn to be peacemakers and we've got to learn to move in peace. What's the next thing he's looking for in that valley? Long-suffering. Oh, did you have to call that one out?
Long-suffering. Long-suffering. Sister Agnes Holmes used to call it long-suffering. Yeah. Amen. Long-suffering enduring through trials requires patience to always remember these words. All things work together for good to them that love Yahweh to them who are called according to his purpose. If you'll ever get that word that I just read in your mind you can suffer long. Yes. The reason he chose this woman, she could suffer a long time. If you're going to be in the bride, you will endure suffering as a good soldier. That's why people come to this ministry and they leave.
This is a training ground for soldiers of the millennial army. And we must learn to suffer the the the trials of this life if we are going to ever reign with Christ. And listen, I know sometimes it seems like all that's all life is is suffering. Then that ought to make you glad that joy comes in the morning. Amen. Hallelujah. We've got to learn to suffer for the Lord. Um Christ said in Matthew 24:23, "If any man shall say Christ is here or there, believe it not." Those who pray thy kingdom come must exercise and grow in wisdom and patience discerning the signs of the times.
Listen, you can't grow impatient waiting for the coming of the Lord. You've got to stay patient. Longsuffering is is some of the fruits in the valley. If you don't develop those fruit, you will not be in the kingdom of God. Amen. "You shall be hated of all men for my name's sake. But he that endures to the end shall be saved." Amen. When describing the 144,000 in Revelation 13:10, it said, "These are those that had the patience and the faith of the saints." Patience. What else is in that valley, and I'm almost done? Gentleness. Gentleness. How you talk to people. How you deal with people.
Be gentle. There's so many more fruit that we could read about, but we'll stop there because my time is up. But as you continue to read through that, you'll find what's required to be in the bride of Christ. And I hope when you read it that you say help me, Lord. Holy Spirit help me. And as the word of this ministry gets in you these fruit will come out. Yes, sir. They will. Amen. Some of you've been with me for years. You're learning. All these fruit develop over the from the preaching of the word. That's right. And as you hear this preaching those fruit will come out.
Now, I want to finish up in Song of Solomon where we left off and we're going to close out there. Let's read Song of Solomon. Go back to verse 13. Now, after the bridegroom told these other daughters about this woman, what he loved about her. And again uh Sister Carolyn, what did he love about this woman versus the other ones? It's all right. Brother Nathan what did he love about this woman versus all the other women? She was definitely obedient. Yes, sir. There was fruit in her valley. Which obedience is definitely one of those fruit. But she had fruit in the valley, the others didn't.
I want to tell you tonight, is there fruit in your valley? And I mean that. Does your vine flourish? He said her vine flourished. Why don't we read that? Song of Solomon 6. Read right where we left off and tell me about that vine. I went down into the garden of nuts to see the fruits of the valley and to see whether the vine flourished. to see if the vine flourished. And the pomegranates budded. I wanted to see if the pomegranates were budding or if I wanted to see if she was fake like all the other churches. All the other churches were standing there talking to him. Why do you like her?
She was flourishing. Not with gifts with fruit. Now as we finish this out tonight let's skip down to chapter 7. Finally, with chapter 7. Huh? Oh, there's eight. So, all right. Huh? New beginning. That's right. When we get there. Y'all, it's taking 1 year to teach seven chapters. Hallelujah. All right, read for me chapter 7 verse 1. And we're almost done. How beautiful are thy feet All right. I want you to notice something. The first thing he tells them about this bride is whatever my notes say, wherever they are. No, we're not there. It is.
He tells the daughters of Jerusalem, the other churches Wait a minute. No, there's a verse above there where they talked about the Shulamite woman. That's um first 13 of chapter 6. Return, return. So, what did the other churches just say when he told them why he loved this church? The other churches said, "Well, we want to see her." Listen to me. And I know it's late. Listen. He had bragged on this church so much. He was so proud of this church that flourished that he was telling all the Babylonian church about her.
And she said, these other churches said, "There's really a church with that much love? With that much joy? With that much fruit? Well, we want to see her." And that's called the marriage supper of the lamb. Where he will expose us to the world. And he's We've been hiding at Mount Bashar. He's been preparing us, checking our nut valley to make sure there's that we're flourishing. And now they're saying, "WE WANT TO SEE HER. TELL HER TO RETURN." LISTEN TO WHAT he says. Return, return, O Shulamite. Return, return, that we may look upon thee. What will you see What will you see in the Shulamite?
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE Shulamite woman? THESE OTHER CHURCHES SAID, "WHERE'S SHE AT?" YOU KNOW WHY THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHERE SHE WAS? We're a hidden church. Nobody even knows we exist. Nobody's really hearing that. Nobody even knows where she is. She's not Baptist. She's not Where Where's this little woman at? He's been bragging on her. She's a mystery. Remember the mystery? I told y'all about the mystery. She's still hidden. She's hidden from the other churches. But the now the other CHURCHES ARE SO DESPERATE TO SEE A REAL church that they say, "Return.
AND WE WANT TO SEE THE SHULAMITE WOMAN." WHY is she called the Shulamite woman? Because Shulamite means princess of peace. It's the female version of Solomon, prince of peace. The name Solomon means prince of peace. The Shulamite is Solomon because she has become Solomon. She went to Mount Bashar. She got in Solomon's bed. She was impregnated by the word. Come on now. Until she was no longer her mother's daughter. She's now the female Solomon. He said, "The reason I love her, she is me now. We're one.
And the reason I went to check her valley and her fruit was BECAUSE IF SHE'S REALLY a Shulamite, she's flourishing with my fruit because I have the same fruit. We want to see this woman." He said, "You're fixing to see her. She's fixing to be called up from her grave all over the world. She's going to be raised in the middle of the air for the whole world to see my veiled bride. Oh, yes, her day is coming. RIGHT NOW SHE'S HIDDEN. SHE'S A MYSTERY, BUT I'M WORKING ON HER. WELL, HALLELUJAH. I KEEP GOING TO THE VALLEY OF NUTS looking for fruit. And here's what he said to her, "But read it again.
What do you want to see in this woman?" Read. What will you see in the Shulamite? Why do you want to see her? Because if you're looking at me you're already looking at her. Amen. Amen. As we are growing in Christ and when I die and they lay my body in a cold ground I want it to be to where I have endured so much suffering for Christ and this message that that that I have no nothing left, I'll still be a nut with fruits growing all out of me. Hallelujah. I want to be a fruity nut Amen. for the Lord. Amen. Amen. I WANT TO LOVE MY ENEMIES. I WANT TO DO GOOD TO THOSE THAT DESPITEFULLY use me.
That's right. That's what they wanted to see. He was telling them you're going to see her. But now he said, "I want to tell you a few more things about her so you're prepared when you see her." And he does that in verse one of chapter seven. Read it. How beautiful are thy feet. the first thing you're going to notice about her she's got the most beautiful feet you ever looked at. Solomon had a foot fetish. He loved feet. Every verse that's about her feet. Yeah. He loved feet. Walk right. All he ever talked ABOUT WAS HER FEET. Spiritual pedicures. At her feet.
And why does he want these Babylonian churches to notice her feet? Well, those feet have something on them called Sandals. Sandals. Here's what he said. And this is so important. HE SAID, "WHAT MAKES THIS WOMAN DIFFERENT? She knows how valuable her feet are." Wow. Because her feet are the word of God that she stands on. Hallelujah. NOTICE HER FEET. SHE'S PROTECTED WITH SANDALS, shoes on her beautiful feet. Because she knows if she don't protect the word, Amen. she'll go back to her mama's house. Amen.
THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING ABOUT HER IS HER FEET, THE VERY FOUNDATION OF THE END-TIME BRIDE MUST BE THE LOVE OF HER FEET. HALLELUJAH. EVERY OTHER EXPERIENCE THAT YOU HAVE WITH GOD, AND YOU WILL HAVE MANY, you will have dreams and visions and speaking IN TONGUES, AND YOU WILL HAVE PROPHECY, YOU WILL HAVE A FALLING OUT IN THE GLORY, YOU'LL HAVE MANY EXPERIENCES, BUT THAT IS NOT YOUR FEET. AMEN. ALL OF IT MEANS NOTHING WITHOUT FEET TO stand on. Hallelujah. FEET TO WALK WITH. HE SAID, "HER FEET IS WHAT I WANT YOU TO HER STRENGTH OF HER FEET, THE BEAUTY OF HER FEET. READ FOR ME Hebrews 12 AND 13.
THIS BRIDE, THE REASON SHE'S DIFFERENT FROM Y'ALL, SHE GETS spiritual pedicures. She focuses on the foundation. These other churches focus on signs and wonders. They focus on the move of the spirit. They focus on uh gifts and they focus on you know, WHATEVER AND WHATEVER. HE SAID, "BUT THE END-TIME BRIDE, her full focus is on her feet." Amen. She wears shoes to protect the foundation of the church. And the foundation of the church is the word of God. Read Hebrews 12:13. And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way, but let it rather be healed.
He wants straight PATH FOR YOUR FEET. WHY? BECAUSE IF YOUR FEET STUMBLE, if your feet get injured on the journey, you cannot finish the journey. Wow. Amen. This message is your feet. And as you protect that, you will get through this journey. Hallelujah. You definitely will get through this journey. Now, the shoes that she's wearing has keeping power. The shoes is the revealed word of God. As she protects her feet with the word, she's standing when everyone else is falling. She's focused on the word. As this ministry focuses on the word, we will stand.
Do you know why this ministry has been attacked by the best and the best and the best? And they never work because we're not built on a man. We're not built on on an experience with God, if you will. We're not built on casting out devils. We're not built on We are built on the revelation of the end-time message. That's why this ministry will never be DEFEATED BY ANYONE. OUR FEET ARE SECURE. STAND ON THE MESSAGE THAT YOU HAVE LEARNED. PEOPLE WILL WONDER WHY WE HAVE NOT FALLEN because we had our feet taken care of. We wore sandals on these feet. The word of God.
The Bible said in Ephesians 6 about how precious the feet are of those that preach the word. You know why? Because the word is the foundation of everything. As you lose your foundation, you'll lose out on your walk with God. Read Psalms 91:13. And I want to talk to you, and this is last few words I want to say. Keep your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel. Meaning don't let anything else be more important than the word of God. Psalms 91:13. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder. The young lion and and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
Do you know why your feet have to be wrapped up with the revealed word of God? Because it's your feet that will tread upon scorpions. That's right. The Bible said you will walk on snakes. You can't do it if you're barefooted. You got to have the sandals protecting your feet. Listen to me. If you want to walk on scorpions, you'll never do it by standing there telling them, "I rebuke you. GET OUT OF MY LIFE." It's They're never getting out of your life. "I command you to leave." They're going to laugh at you. They have a right to be in your life.
They have a right to be all around you because why? They are This is their world. This is their earth. You are the stranger here, not them. And as you're walking through this world and the scorpions of your addictions and the scorpions of your anxiety and your stress, all these scorpions, YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO WALK ON THEM. THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN DO IT IS IF YOUR FEET HAVE BEEN SHOD WITH THE GOSPEL OF THE COMING KINGDOM OF GOD. THAT IS YOUR PROTECTION IN THIS HOUR. YOU'VE GOT TO SHOD YOUR FEET. YOU GOT TO PUT SHOES ON THEM. Every time you hear this preaching, we're tightening those shoes up.
Why? We want you walking on scorpions. We want you walking over the things that you to walk over you. Brother Bacon, whatever held you before and walked OVER YOU, AND WHEN YOU GET YOUR FEET SHOD WITH THE GOSPEL, you will walk over that because you have authority in your feet. YOUR FEET HAVE AUTHORITY. AMEN. READ LUKE 10:19 and 20. Focus on the feet. That's the first thing he said about this Shulamite woman, look at her feet. They're They got sandals on them. She's protecting those feet. Read Luke chapter 10:19 and 20.
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Unless you don't have shoes on. Amen. Read. Notwithstanding, in this rejoice, but notwithstanding, in this rejoice not that the spirits are subject unto you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven. Because you're the bride. Amen. Don't rejoice that demons tremble when you walk in a room because you got shoes on your feet that cannot Your feet can't be hurt. See, here's the deal, brothers and sisters.
When Satan strikes you, when a snake strikes you, if you got shoes on, you're going to come out a whole lot better. Amen. Okay? He said, "Notice the bride's feet. She's got shoes on." Hallelujah. What's so special about her? She protects those feet. The word. Amen. And he said to her to us, "When a snake bites you, Sister Magazine, a spiritual snake, and they bite you and they say, 'There's no need of trying. Nothing's working out for you.' Where's Sister Lydia Eubanks tonight? Anybody heard from her? Okay. Where's Brother Barry? I knew about him. So, listen. They say, "No need of trying.
You're not getting nowhere." That's a bite on your feet. If you've got shoes on, you can tread on that serpent. And say the word says, "If I'll be faithful in a few things, he'll make me ruler over many." That's how you tread on scorpions. Your feet must be shod with the gospel, the word. This bride has shoes on her feet. SHE PROTECTS THE FEET. WHEN THE ENEMY COMES TO YOU AND SAYS your life is going IN CIRCLES, YOU STEP ON IT AND SAY, "MY LIFE IS IN HIS HANDS. HE SAID MY STEPS ARE ORDERED BY THE LORD." THAT'S HOW YOU TREAD ON SCORPIONS. YOU NEED SHOES ON YOUR FEET, THE word of God.
Read Romans 16:20. This is now going to make sense to you. This little bride, the reason she's got shoes on, she's got to kill a few snakes. And without the word, she can't kill them. Listen to me, without God's word, you cannot kill the lies, you'll believe them. Until the word of God becomes your shoes, you can't kill them. Read. And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of your Lord, Yeshua the Messiah, be with you. Amen. I want to stop I want to talk to you about bruising Satan's head and we're done.
He said, "I'm going to bruise Satan's head under your feet shortly." Notice what he said about the bride. Notice her feet. She's getting ready for the prophecy to be fulfilled. She's getting ready to bruise Satan with her feet, the word. Yeshua bruised Satan's head the first time. You're going to bruise it the second time. But in closing Yeshua, the only way he was able to bruise Satan's head was he had crucified heels. If you ever plan to kill the lies in your mind you got to be crucified or your feet have no power. Yeshua bruised Satan's head by his crucifixion.
Only when you are crucified in your flesh everyday do you have power in your feet. Carnal feet cannot kill devils. But feet that are wrapped up in the word of God have power over every serpent, every scorpion, every lie of the enemy. When you walk in that word everywhere you go. When the word is your helper, when the word is your guide, here's what will happen. You'll look under your feet one day and you'll see scorpions and snakes you didn't even know were trying to bite you because the shoes you're wearing are good shoes. They are the word of God.
They are the gospel of the Lord Jesus, Yeshua the Messiah. HALLELUJAH. WRAP YOUR FEET UP. WRAP YOUR FEET UP. And tonight that's why he loved this woman more than anything. She had fruit and shoes. Hallelujah. You got to have fruit and shoes. Amen. Listen to me, the devil lies to me every day. You know, that's why people misunderstand that scripture about you'll take up serpents. That's why there's snake-handling churches in the world. They don't understand. We take up serpents every day. We tread on them. The serpents are the lies in your mind. It's that discouragement that you feel.
It's that frustration that you feel. That's a bite. The only way, Sister Denisa, that that poison will not get in your feet is if you're wearing shoes. What are those shoes? When you wake up every day and you get in that word, them shoestrings. Book of Psalms, SAID, "IN THIS WILL I BE CONFIDENT. The Lord is my light, my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Of whom shall I be afraid?" AND WHEN YOU WALK through the day and somebody makes you angry, that's a bite. AND ALL OF A SUDDEN YOU REMEMBER GENTLENESS, PEACE, LOVE. Your feet are protected from the bite.
THE ONLY WAY YOU WON'T get poisoned is if you've got the word on your feet. Otherwise, they'll poison you. THEY'LL GET IN YOUR MIND. PUT SHOES on your feet. Every since I saw that snake in my yard, I don't go outside now without shoes on my feet. If it bites, it's going to have to come through all that. Your shoes is the word of God. Put it on every day. Every day. You ought to You ought to call your husband or your wife and say, "Did you Did you tie your shoes this morning?" Did you tie your shoes?
BECAUSE YOU'RE GOING TO GET BIT AS SOON AS YOU GET OVER IN THAT PEST CONTROL CENTER, you're going to get bit. And when you feel that bite, the joy of the Lord is MY STRENGTH. YEA, THOUGH I walk through THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH, I WILL FEAR NO EVIL. TIE THOSE SHOES UP. SATAN, YOU CANNOT BITE THROUGH THE WORD OF GOD. YOU CANNOT POISON ME. I'VE GOT SHOES ON MY FEET. WALKING OVER SHARP EDGES, SCORPIONS, AND THE WILES OF THE DEVIL. WOULD YOU STAND TONIGHT? We love you, Lord. We bless your name tonight. WE THANK YOU FOR SHOES ON OUR FEET. WE THANK YOU FOR SHOES ON our feet.
We thank you, Lord. We thank you for shoes on the feet. We thank you that you gave us protection from the enemy. We thank you you gave us protection from the enemy. That you're a good God. That you're always with us. You never fail us. You never forsake us. Hallelujah. You're a very present help in the time of the storm. Father, I ask you tonight to help us to focus on our feet. Let our fruits be bountiful. Help us to become what you're creating us to be as we grow into your image.
As we become more and more like you every day, we ask you to strengthen us tonight with the feet of the word of God. Oh, let your word protect us. Let your word protect us. Speak the word, Lord, and we'll go through with it. We'll follow you wherever you go.
Summary
Pastor Shane Vaughn teaches from Song of Solomon 6 about the characteristics of the end-time bride, emphasizing that the Bridegroom chose her because she had fruit in the valley, not spiritual gifts. He expounds on the fruit of the Spirit from Galatians 5—love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness—explaining that these fruit develop through time and obedience to God's word, contrasting them with the carnal works of the flesh. Concluding with Song of Solomon 7:1, he emphasizes the importance of having one's feet shod with the word of God as protection against the lies and deceptions of the enemy, using the metaphor of shoes to represent the gospel's protective power.
