Part 9 - Isaiah Study ''THE SEVEN SPIRITS OF GOD'' mp4 And he that set, and he that set was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone. And there was a rainbow round about the throne in sight like unto an emerald. And round about the throne were four and twenty seats. And upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment. And they had on their heads crowns of gold. And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices. And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven spirits of Yahweh. Amen. The seven spirits of Yahweh. Let's read Revelations three and one. And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write, these things saith he that hath the seven spirits of Yahweh, and that seven, and the seven stars. I know thy works, that thou hast a name, and thou livest and are dead. Now someone is sitting in the throne, and we know that is Yahshua, Jesus. And he has upon him the seven spirits of God. Now the question is, what are those seven spirits of God? And that's going to bring us back to Isaiah where we're going to pick up now. Where we've been reading for some months. And let's start at verse number one. Sorry, chapter eleven. Isaiah chapter eleven, verse one. And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of his roots. Amen. You may be seated tonight. Father, bless your word tonight. Bless your people, we pray. As we stand in the sacristy of this desk, that every word will reach its intended target. And that it will render to them new life in the name of Yahshua, the Messiah, Jesus Christ. Amen. So Isaiah says in verse number one that there's going to come a branch out of Jesse. Now we know that that tree that Jesse come out of is the tree of Judah. He said there's going to be a little green shoot or a little branch that's coming out of Jesse. Does anybody know who that branch was? Go ahead. Before it was Yahshua, who was it? David. Because David is the throne upon which Yahshua will be sitting. All right. So we know it was David first. But then David is the type and the shadow of Yahshua, Jesus. Now when we understand this, read for me real quick Isaiah four and two. And listen to what it says. This branch will grow out in verse number one where we were just at. And it will produce fruit. Read Isaiah four and two about this branch. In that day shall the branch of Yahweh be beautiful and glorious. And the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and calmly for them that are escaped of Israel. There's going to be fruit that comes to Yahshua. And it's the fruit of the whole earth. This branch is going to be fruitful. And I want you to know that those few people that serve in Him today. Let me ask you a question. Hancock County. How many citizens do we have here? Roughly. Yes. No, I'm talking about how many total citizens. Hancock County. Anybody know? Well, then somebody Google it for me real quick. Huh? How many? What's our population? Find out our population. Hancock County, Mississippi. What's our population? A hundred thousand? Are we that big? Forty-seven thousand. All right. Out of forty-seven thousand people. Forty-seven thousand. How many would you put on the straight and narrow path? I'm serious. Forty-seven thousand people. How many do you think is walking in obedience to these commandments of God? Now, the Bible said it's a little flock. Few there be that find it. But Isaiah just said that this branch was going to be fruitful. That don't sound fruitful to me. Sounds withered. The problem is when you don't understand the day of the Lord. The Sabbath day. The millennial reign. The coming kingdom of God. The fruit that's coming in now is not the bountiful fruit. It's just the beautiful fruit. But the bountiful fruit comes in in the day of the Lord. God said that fruit was going to be bountiful. And it's going to be the fruit of the whole earth. Now, Jesus was born of the bloodline of Jesse and David. And he is the only surviving hope in a hopeless world. He is a shoot or a branch that will come back. And will bear fruit. And will establish his kingdom on the whole earth. This fruit will be bountiful. This branch will be beautiful. This king will reign over all the nations of the world. This is Jesse's boy. This is David's son. And it's promised when he comes the first time. He gets the beautiful fruit. The sweet figs. But when he comes the second time. He will get the bountiful fruit. The second harvest. Now, you need to understand God's word don't lie. And when I read that this branch is going to have bountiful fruit. And I don't see bountiful fruit. Here's what the devil can do to my mind. If you don't know this message we preach. The devil will mess your mind up with those prophecies. Because when you look around. Let me ask you a question children. If God and Satan is in a battle. Which by the way. If you serve a God that's in a battle with Satan. You serve the wrong God. Who can battle against Yahweh? Who can challenge His authority? Who can rise against Him? But the church tells us that the devil and God is in a war for souls. Now, I'm not a big football fan except the saints. I can't tell you a lot. And I may not be the best umpire or the best scorekeeper. But I got sense enough to know when somebody's losing a game. Look around. Look around. Who's winning? I see it's a question nobody wants to answer. They want to play church. You tell me who's winning the war for souls. Well, who does it look like is losing? Yahweh. Go right. You don't believe me. Oh brother Von Hoppen go right downtown Bay St. Louis right now. Look four stories of a bar room full of people. You tell me who's winning or losing. See here's the deal brothers and sisters. Because you don't know about the Sabbath day. Because you don't know the millennial reign. You think those promises are for today. Those promises are for that day. The seventh day. The 7,000th year. This message will make you walk in faith like you've never had. When you see the perfection of the word of God. It leaves no room for doubt. No room for error. No room for the devil to enter your mind. Nobody. Nobody has ever shown me one error in this book. Nobody. And I've been among the Muslims. I've been with the best. And they point me a scripture. And it looks like it's a contradiction. Oh yes. I give you a prime example. The Muslims if you talk to one. The first scripture they'll take you to. Is when Yahshua told his disciples. There be some standing here today. That will not taste death. Until you see me coming in my kingdom. Well they all died and none of them saw. Him coming in his kingdom. But see when they brought me that mess. They didn't know who they was talking to. Here's why. Because I understand the plan. And I understand what the kingdom of God is. Yahshua said you'll see me in my kingdom. What they don't know is seven days later. He took Peter, James and John up on a mountain. And showed them what he's going to look like. In his kingdom. They came back me in no corner. Why? Not because I'm perfect. But that book is perfect. And when he gives you an understanding of it. Nobody can make you doubt it. Y'all better get this doubt out of your mind. With God's word. It's perfect. It's holy. And it will give you an authority. You can walk with your head held high. Not with pride. But with confidence. That that word is a solid rock. It's a solid rock. In a shaky world. It's a solid rock. There's nothing not perfect about the word of God. Now we know a branch is coming forth from Jesse. But now let's read verse 2 of Isaiah chapter 11. Now here's how we're going to know it's him when he comes. Read verse 2. And the spirit of Yahweh shall rest upon him. The spirit of wisdom. Start counting. Here's your seven spirits of God. The spirit of the Lord is number one. Next. The spirit of wisdom. Number two. Next. Understanding. Number three. Next. The spirit of counsel. Number four. Next. And might. Next. The spirit of knowledge. Next. And of the fear of Yahweh. Seven spirits of God is right there in that one verse. Amen. Yahshua would be the only man in history that would come carrying the seven spirits of God. Now in Revelation we read that there was one that sat on the throne. In the midst of the throne. And he had the what? That one is Yahshua. And upon him rest the seven spirits of God. We know that these seven spirits rested fully on Christ Jesus. Now let me explain what it all means. Seven in the scriptures is the most sacred number of the Bible. If you're not a seven you're a what? A six. Six. Six. The number of man. The number of rebellion. The number of flesh. The number of religion. The number of carnality. That's who you are. But when you become a seven you get rid of the mark of the beast which is six. Six in your mind. Six in your flesh. Six in your spirit. Six, six, six all over you. You just rebellious everywhere. But when you become seven you have moved past your own humanity. I want to read to you now Revelations 5 and 6 brother Morgan. The number seven is the number of completion. It is a wholeness that nothing else compares to. Read Revelation 5 and 6. And I beheld and lo in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts and in the midst of the elders stood a lamb as it had been slain. Here's the lamb. This is Yahshua. Now read. Having seven horns. Seven horns is his authority. But you know why he's got seven horns brother? It is his authority over six. Nobody caught that. The lamb battled the number six just like you did. Come on. He battled. The Bible said he had to learn obedience by the things he suffered. Why you got to learn obedience? Because there was some six in there. All your life you're going to battle six. All your life Goliath had six fingers, six toes. He was the enemy of God's people. Nebuchadnezzar's statue was sixty by six. There's your six six. Why? Because in your life you will battle against these sixes. But when Yahshua is on the throne he has seven horns. What does that mean? What is a ram's horn? It's his power, his authority over his adversary. Yahshua is the seven and that's represented by his horns. And if you're ever going to sit on that throne you're going to have seven horns. It's going to take me a while to build this I can tell. Keep going. And seven eyes which are the seven spirits of Yahweh. Seven eyes which are the seven spirits of Yahweh. Everyone sitting in this room tonight I want you to hear me. You will never get on the throne without them seven eyes. The seven spirits of God have to rest on you like they did Yahshua. Otherwise you are a believer but you're not an overcomer. Now I'm teaching deeper than you realize tonight. I want to teach you how to not get to heaven. We're over heaven. We're trying to get some people on the throne. Do you know the only thing Jesus Christ ever promised you was his throne? He didn't promise you anything but his throne. What did he say? If you will suffer with me you will sit with me on my father's throne. You looking at streaks of gold. He wants you to look at a throne so you know what your job is. Now the word Holy Spirit I want you to hear me. The word holy comes from the root word whole. W-H-O-L-E. Therefore the real Holy Spirit is the whole spirit. And the problem with the church today they've got the Holy Spirit but not the whole spirit. They've got the Holy Spirit but they don't have the seven spirits. Oh I'm going to get in your yard tonight. They can speak in tongues but they don't have the spirit of wisdom. Understanding the fear of the Lord. On and on and on until you get the whole seven eyes the seven horns. Here's the problem most Christians that have the Holy Ghost the Holy Spirit of God. What they've had is a one facet of the Holy Spirit. But as you begin to grow in God you'll get the whole spirit. You start off with the Holy Spirit but you will wind up with the whole spirit of Yahweh. The reason people are crippled they don't have the whole spirit. I'm preaching more than you're getting. Holy Spirit ain't enough. Yahshua said I'm your example. He didn't just have the Holy Spirit. He had the seven spirits of God from the top of his head to the sole of his feet. You've got to learn to make room in your life for the seven spirits of God. The problem is we bring you to the altar and we tell you a dab or do ya but it won't. See all a dab will do is get you started. But once you receive the Holy Ghost you've got to now receive the full measure of the Holy Ghost. Do you know why Jesus had the spirit without measure? Because seven can't be measured. Seven is completeness. You can't measure completeness. He had the seven spirits of God and the reason he had them he moved six out of the way. You've got to quit telling people you've got the Holy Spirit and claim the whole spirit. Quit telling people you've got the Holy Spirit and just start saying I got the whole spirit. I got it all. Why? Because I'm growing in it every day and every day it's growing in me. Every day those seven eyes, those seven horns is popping out all over my life. I'm seeing. I'm understanding. I'm growing. I'm becoming what Joshua became the fullness of God. What was the difference in Christ and you? You've got God in you but we're talking about the fullness of God. We're talking about the Holy Spirit. Y'all got the same Holy Spirit. If this same spirit that was in Christ also dwell in you it's the same Holy Spirit. But the difference is it ain't the same whole spirit. Yes, some of you is crippled in the spirit. You're walking on one leg, two legs. I want to show you how these seven spirits work. Put that first graphic up for me brother on the screen. How many has ever been looking right after a rain and the sun is shining? You see the rainbow in the sky. A rainbow is made up of seven colors. And it's caused by the fact that the light from the sun is bent by the drops of rain. And here's what happens. Go to the other one brother. I want to show you the seven spirits of God. I want you to look at this prism. This is a diamond. It's a prism. It's three-faceted. On the left side you have white light, sunlight. Sunlight. White light. And the minute that white light shines through that glass or that prism. You realize it was never white light. It's white and yet it's so much more. When you look up at the sun all you see is white light. But as soon as that is filtered through a prism you see seven lights. That white light is what you call the Holy Spirit. But until it has been filtered. Until it has been exposed as seven different characteristics of God. You don't have the whole spirit. That white light is what you received at the altar. But within that white light is the seven colors of the rainbow. Everything is seven. How many major music chords do we have? Seven. Everything is filtered through seven. And some of you in this room have lived your life with that white light of the Holy Ghost that you received at an altar. And you still can't overcome nothing. You still can't walk on the holy highway. The reason is because you're seeing the white light instead of what's inside the white light. What's inside the Holy Spirit is all the characteristics of God. And there's seven of them. Brother Vaughn I got the Holy Spirit. Let me tell you something. That Holy Spirit has got to be filtered. It's got to be filtered through the word. Let me tell you what happens. I want you to hear me now. Brother Vaughn what's the filter? What's the prism? How do we turn white light into seven lights? I'll show you the filter. Whenever it hits this book. Oh shababai. When your Holy Spirit hits this book and you open those pages it'll start turning white light into seven colors in your own life. Everything that you need when it hits this Bible it comes out in you seven different ways. You've got to learn that there's aspects of the Holy Spirit that's not shining through your life. Let me give you an example. Bible said everybody in here claims to have the Holy Ghost. And yet when you say one bad thing about somebody in this church you know what just happened? Where's that light? Where's that characteristic of God that's contained in that Holy Spirit you said you had? Why ain't it shining through now? Why is long suffering not shining through? Why is patience not? Where's the colors? When you receive the Holy Spirit Brother Vaughn I got the rain. Forget the rain. We're looking for the rainbow. Don't you understand? When the rain hits your life you're supposed to bend and allow the rainbow to come forth which is the character of God. Brother Vaughn you're saying I don't have the Holy Ghost. Nope. You got the Holy almost. Yeah you got a touch. You got a little seed. You felt the rain. You got the rain. Yes. But you see contained within the light of God what came on you in baptism was the light. But see what came in you is not what must come out of you. It must go in a white light but come out seven different ways with the wholeness of God. Not just one aspect. There's some people's Holy Ghost all it does is helps them to shout good. Have good church. That's good. But where's those other six lights we're looking for? Where's the character? Some of you in this church you got the Holy Ghost. I'm going to take it away from you. Got the Holy almost. But listen to me. And now you see I never knew what I meant. Yahweh gave me that slogan years ago the Holy almost. I never knew what it meant until I'm preaching to you right now. Now that I understand the whole spirit anything that's not whole is almost. You got the Holy almost. Yeah, you got to dab and it'll do you good. But if you still got a temper something ain't bending. What causes a rainbow? The light bends. The raindrops bend that light. That light has to bend to go through those raindrops. If you want the rainbow to come out you got to bend so that the character of the rainbow comes out of your life. Brother Vaughn, I got the Holy Ghost. Where's your faithfulness? But until you get the whole thing. Brother Vaughn, I got the Holy Ghost. And where are you at on the Lord's Sabbath day? Where's your faithfulness? Where's your obedience? Something's missing in your Holy Ghost. If you've got enough Holy Ghost to have standards of holiness that's wonderful. But until you're able to love those in the house of Yahweh that don't have your standard there's something missing in your light. God don't give you standards for nobody but you. Do you understand me? That's your standard. Don't you ever give it up. Don't you ever deny it. Don't you ever get rid of it. But learn to let God do the work. There's some people in this room tonight still got the Holy almost. But God's trying to bring every one of us now. You see, I want you to look at that graphic one more time. Now go to my next graphic, brother. I want to show you this next picture and I want you to look in the dead center of this picture. Hallelujah. You see that white light in the center? If you'll turn that wheel fast enough all those colors will turn white. See this is, even though there's seven different separate lights they're still all just one light. Do you not get that? There's only one Holy Ghost. There's only one Holy Ghost. But you see, as it speeds up in your life and as you slow down, as your flesh slows down and the Spirit speeds up, you're walking in the Spirit and not the flesh, all of a sudden that'll all start working together in perfect synchrony, in perfect harmony and your Holy Ghost will shine in every circumstance of your life. Some of y'all's got enough Holy Ghost to come to church but you don't have enough Holy Ghost to shut down gossip. Let me tell you one negative word about your brother or sister I don't care who they are, one negative word that that ain't the light that comes from the throne of God. Oh no, no. No, that's not the light that comes from the throne of God. As God's nature flows through our triangular being we express the nature of God on many levels of His Spirit. Let's go back over those seven spirits that we've all got to have. Brother Morgan, let's read it again. Verse number two. And the Spirit of Yahweh shall rest upon him. All right, number one. Listen, you're first going to get the Spirit of Yahweh. That's the Holy Spirit. The first thing you're going to get is the baptism of the Holy Spirit. And you're going to get that first. Amen. But when that baptism comes in there is six other things attached to it. And read what the first thing that must start manifesting out of your life. Read. The Spirit of wisdom. Wisdom. The Spirit of wisdom. You know the difference in knowledge and wisdom? Knowledge is a bunch of knowledge. Wisdom is knowing what to do with it. Yeah, we all know what day the Sabbath day is. But when you go out and mock those that don't know, you ain't got no wisdom. When you criticize those that don't worship on the Sabbath, what you've just done is you've taken your knowledge and turned it into a weapon. Wisdom will tell you, you walk in truth, you be an example, you live the life, you walk the straight and narrow, and I'll draw men unto you. I don't never go, if somebody invites me to preach at their church, I don't preach the things I know, except right here. Why? Wisdom. Never molest somebody's pulpit when I've been an invited guest. Because I've got knowledge and if I start pouring that knowledge out, I'm going to split that church 20 ways to nothing. Sometimes you got to learn to shut your mouth and just say what the moment calls for. Because when the Holy Spirit comes in, He will give you wisdom. And if your life is not producing wisdom, you don't have the seven spirits of God. Now, good news, you can have it. Yeah. A few trips down here, face in the carpet, face in the Word, it'll start growing in you. What's the next spirit that Yahshua had that we're supposed to have? Understanding. Understanding. Many of you in this room have it, but you need wisdom to go with it. We understand the mysteries of God, but you need wisdom to go with it. Read. The spirit of counsel. The spirit of counsel. This is where you take the Word of God and every decision in your life is based on the Word of God. Everybody in this room don't have that. You got the Holy Ghost, but you don't have the spirit of counsel, where you're willing to take the counsel of God's Word over your own opinion. Next. The spirit of knowledge. The spirit of knowledge. When you have the Holy Spirit, what is the purpose of the Holy Spirit? To what? Teach you all things. To lead you and guide you into some of the truth. All truth. You know you've got the Holy Spirit when you start getting the knowledge of the Word of God. But here's what He said. That's just one stream of light. If you don't have wisdom and counsel, what is that understanding going to do? Right. Destroy. Next. And of the fear of the Lord. The last spirit that Yahshua had that many of you are missing is the fear of the Lord. No fear. No fear of God. And if you turn on your TV, they'll tell you not to fear God. He's your friend. Let me tell you something. Yahweh is your sovereign king and so is Yahshua. You need to act like it. I'm sorry, Jesse Duplantis. I love you. But He's not your motorcycle buddy. He is your sovereign king. You don't go to Him like He's your buddy. He's your sovereign king. No fear of the Lord. No fear. None. This is a spirit. Listen to me. If you have the Holy Ghost, but no fear of the Lord. Everything you do, Sister Tess, ought to be in the fear of the Lord. Everything you, every way you live your life should be to be pleasing unto the Lord. You know why people could care less how they live? There's no fear of God. And they've all got the Holy Ghost, most of them. See? But they're missing a stream of it. The spirit of might and the spirit of counsel. The spirit of might. I'll go over that as I proceed in the lesson. Listen to me carefully. God will bring you the might and the power to overcome sin in your life. All these spirits will come when you receive the Holy Spirit. Let's, I want to show you Isaiah 61 and 1. I want you to, I'm fixing to show you when this came on Christ. Now this is, I need everybody to understand what I'm about to say. Isaiah 61 and 1. Read. The spirit of Yahweh is upon me because Yahweh hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek. He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. Now go to Matthew 3, 16. Now, this is a prophecy from Isaiah that the root of Jesse, the spirit of Yahweh, notice it say, oh Lord. I may have to wait till the morning for my church that, by the way, if you're visiting tonight, we have Sabbath school every Sunday morning, 10 o'clock on Zoom. But listen to me. Notice what he didn't say. He didn't say the spirit of the Lord is within me. And notice what he said. There was going to come a specific point in his life. So seven spirits would rest upon him. I'm going to show you what had happened. Matthew 3, 16. And Jesus, Yahshua, when he was baptized. When he was baptized. Read what happened. Went up straightway out of the water. He came out the water. And lo. What? Go ahead, read. And lo, the heavens were opened unto him. But before that, something came upon him. The Bible said that the Holy Spirit descended upon him in the waters of baptism like a dove. And when he came out of that water, read. And he saw the spirit of God descending like a dove and lightening upon him. After he obeyed Acts 2, 38. After he went in the waters of baptism, guess what happened? Exactly what Acts 2, 38 said would happen. You shall receive the Holy Spirit. Yeah. And Yahshua came out of the water. And the Bible said that that prophecy is now about to come to pass. And it was there whenever he went. He left there. I'm not going to read it. But guess where he went. He went to the temple. And he took a scroll. And what did he read? Isaiah 61. The spirit of Yahweh is upon me. It happened at that moment. And if you're in this room tonight, that same Holy Spirit will come upon you in the waters of baptism. And it will give you the seven spirits of God, the whole spirit. Hallelujah. The Bible said he grew as he suffered. He learned to submit to the whole spirit. Many of you have the Holy Spirit. But you've not submitted to the whole spirit of God. That's why he had the spirit without measure. Because he had the whole spirit. You can't measure whole. It's unmeasurable. It is whole. There's no cut-off point. You can't measure eternity. You can't measure completion. You just can't do it. The difference in his Holy Ghost and your Holy Ghost is he learned to do nothing unless the Father said to do it. He learned to walk in obedience to the Word of God. And the more you begin to walk in obedience, the more of that spirit you will get on you. All right, I'm putting some of you to sleep. I'm going to let you go. Let's go to Zechariah 3. We've only covered two verses of Isaiah 11, y'all. Hang tight. Zechariah 3 and 8 through 10. I want you to listen carefully now. Some of y'all better get ready for this. Hear now, oh Yeshua. Now, this is a prophecy about Yeshua, the high priest. Who is our high priest now? Yeshua. Where's he at? In the heavens. By the hand of the Father. And this is a prophecy about him. Read what it said. Oh Yeshua, the high priest, thou and thy fellows that sit before thee. Now, who are the fellows that sit before him? You're looking at one of them right now. Your brothers. Chapter 3, verse 8. Who's the fellows that are sitting with Yeshua? He's the captain of our salvation. Bringing many sons and brothers to the same position he's in. I want you to hear me now. Yeshua ain't trying to get you to heaven, baby. Yeshua's trying to get some help. He's got a job to do real soon. As soon as he returns, it's time to get to work. It's time to restore this earth the way Satan destroyed it. And guess what? He needs some fellows sitting there with him to help him do it. That's why the Bible said you are joint heirs with Christ. Because his inheritance is your inheritance. What is his inheritance? The nations of the world. Read. For they are men wondered at. They are men who? These fellows. Who are they? Men that people wonder about. The brothers of Yeshua. They're the brothers of Yeshua. Men that people are like, what? They're peculiar. That's the Segula. That's where they wonder at us. We are the signs and wonders of the earth. Because it's not natural to obey God. It ain't natural to obey the Word of God. Read. For behold, I will bring forth my servant, the branch. Who is the branch? We just read in Isaiah 11. A branch will come out of Jesse. Yeshua. Read. For behold, the stone that I have laid before Yeshua. Now here's what he said. Look here. He said, I'm putting a stone right here in front of Yeshua. A stone. Hallelujah. I'm putting a stone in front of him. Why? Because they always put a stone when a covenant was made. Okay. Watch this carefully. That's why we've got the wedding ring, the stone. There's a covenant. Read. Upon one stone shall be seven eyes. Upon one stone. I'm putting seven eyes on one stone. I'm putting one stone, but I'm putting seven eyes on that one stone. Read. Behold, I will engrave the graving thereof. Listen to what he said. And because it's got the seven eyes, I'm going to sign my name on it. I'm going to sign that stone. Remember I preached on the sign the other night. I'm going to sign that stone. Listen to me very carefully. If you ever plan to get the father's name written in your forehead, signed by him, it'll be because you got those seven eyes on your stone. I've lost so many people. Seven eyes was on Yahshua. That was the seven spirits of the Holy Ghost. And if you plan to have his name signed on you, you're going to have to get them same seven eyes. Now let's go to Revelation 1 and 4, shall we? I'm preaching tonight that it takes more than just a baptism of the Holy Ghost. It takes the fullness of the Holy Ghost to make it to the overcomers. Revelation 1 and 4. Now let's find out who it is that's going to speak to us now. Read. John, to the seven churches which are in Asia, grace be unto you and peace from him which is and which was and which is to come and from the seven spirits which are before his throne. All right. So here's a message to the seven churches from the seven spirits. Do you know why the message came to the seven churches from the seven spirits? Because each one of those churches was going to need one of those aspects of those seven spirits to overcome their age. Number one, the church at Ephesus. The church at Ephesus ended around 170 A.D. Now that church started at Pentecost and went to about one, that's about when Polycarp died, 170 A.D. And then Smyrna, one day I'm going to teach you about these churches, Smyrna lasted to about 312 A.D. And then Pergamum, Pergamum lasted, we call that the age of false doctrine because that went from 312 to 606 and that's where the Catholic Church destroyed the Church of God. That's the age of false doctrine. Hallelujah. Thyatira, now the reason you got to know this, you're fixing to see the seven spirits of God. Watch this. Thyatira ended about 1520 A.D. Now we're getting close to our time. Sardis, now the Sardis Church age lasted to 17, around 1750. And what happened around 1776? Hallelujah to God. Then you've got Philadelphia. Philadelphia went until about 1906 and this is when we find Azusa Street. But that brought us into Laodicea and we're still in Laodicea. Now why is this so very important? Because I'm fixing to show you how Ephesus, when you read the book of Revelation, where they came up short, the only two churches that Yahshua was proud of was Smyrna and Philadelphia. I didn't put Philadelphia, sorry, it ended in 1906. Now why? Because who was the pastor of the Smyrna Church? John the Revelator and Polycarp. John passed it off to Polycarp. Polycarp preached a pure gospel. I stand before you tonight and tell you I preach everything that Polycarp preached. He was a Sabbath keeper. He kept Passover. He kept all the holy festivals. He believed in one God. He believed in water baptism in the name of Yahshua Jesus. I believe everything that Polycarp taught. That's the only church besides Philadelphia. But every one of them were struggling with an issue and they would need the seven spirits of God, one spirit for each age to overcome. Ephesus would need the spirit of the Lord. Smyrna would need the spirit of understanding. Pergamum would need the spirit of counsel. Thyatira would need the spirit of knowledge. Sardis would need the spirit of wisdom. Philadelphia would need the spirit of might. But in Laodicea, where we are, the spirit that is missing in the Laodicean church is the last of the seven spirits. The fear of the Lord. Every church, one of those spirits kept them going. But in our day, we've lost the fear of God. And the seven spirits of God is there to help in overcoming. Let me tell you, if you plan to overcome Laodicea, you better grab hold of that spirit of the fear of the Lord. Because that's the only way you're going to survive this last day. I want you to hear me. You're not going to survive talking about Jesus as your boyfriend. Everybody wants to go to church and if I hear another Jesus is my boyfriend song, I'm going to puke. You know why they want those songs? Because they want no fear of God. No fear of God. No doctrine. They'll proudly tell you, our church ain't about doctrine. Then your church ain't about nothing. Doctrine is the foundation of the church. If you go to a church and you don't hear doctrine, you are not hearing anything more than an alcoholic anonymous meeting. We're not here to puff you up. We're not here to fluff you up. We're here to help you overcome Laodicea. The last thing I care about is if you like me. I don't have any friends when I'm in this pulpit. Nobody in this room is my friend when I take this microphone. Because I don't want your friendship. I want to see you make it over through Laodicea with the fear of the Lord. What did God, what was his problem with Laodicea? They had forsaken his name. They allowed that woman Jezebel to teach. Listen to me carefully. We're living in the most seductive age the church has ever lived in. And if you want to be hated by the whole church, preach doctrine. If you want to be hated by every preacher in town, preach it's still a highway of holiness. Preach it's still a straight and a narrow way. And that no man is going to see God without holiness. This must be the end time message. The church in Laodicea has two groups of people in it. Believers and overcomers. Real quickly, Brother Morgan, I'm going to call it all out for you. Revelation 2, verse 7. I know some of y'all are getting tired. I don't care. Hallelujah. Waffle House is open all night long. Revelation 2 and 7, read it. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life. So he's talking to two groups of people in the church. Believers and what? If you don't overcome, what does that mean? Believers have the Holy Ghost. They don't have the whole ghost. That's the ones that will say to him, but we cast out devils in your name. You can't cast out a devil without the Holy Spirit. So these are baptized in Jesus' name, spirit-filled people. Oh, yes. Hate to bust your bubble, but they didn't have the whole spirit. They was missing that fear of the Lord that made them obey the law of God. Depart from me, you lawless, spirit-filled Christians. Depart from me. But there's another group of overcomers. And here's what I'm going to give them. I'm giving them the tree of life. Read verse 10. Y'all wake up. Ain't got nowhere else to go. Revelation 2 and 10. Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer. Behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried, and ye shall have tribulation ten days. But thou faithful unto death, be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee the crown of life. He didn't say just confess Christ. He said be faithful unto death. And I've got a promise for you. I don't have no promise for them. Those believers, that's 34 believers. They're going in the outer court where there's weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth. But the overcomers, I'll give you everything if you'll give me everything. Verse 17, self-saying chapter. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth, saving he that receiveth it. Do you remember in Zechariah when Yahshua got a stone and sat in front of him? And he wrote a new name on the stone. He signed the name. The father signed it. Why did he do it? Because he had the seven eyes in the stone. The seven spirits of God. All overcomers have the seven spirits of God. They overcome their sixes. They overcome their selves. And they move on up a little higher. And what else did I do? I signed my name. Why? Because there were seven eyes in that stone. Verse 28, self-saying chapter. Oh, hallelujah. How wonderful. And I will give him the morning star. Go to verse number, Revelation 3 and 5 now. In other words, you're going to take Satan's place. You're going to be the morning star instead of him. Read, he that overcometh. Only he that has the seven spirits. Here's what I'm going to do for him. The same shall be clothed in white raiment, and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life. But I will confess his name before the Father and before his angels. He said, I'll be proud of him. I'll be proud of him. I'll go tell my father. That's one of my brothers right there. That's one of my fellows that Zechariah was talking about. Hey, Revelation 3 and 12. I'm about to shout up in here. You know why? Because I see me in the book. I see me in the book. I see a promise in the book. For every hard trial, every hard day, every battle, everywhere I'm at, I see me in the book. Somebody said, you're too involved in the Bible. It's because I got seven eyes, dummy. All I can do is read. You're too involved in that church. You're in a cult. Baby, I love my cult. Leave me alone. I got seven eyes and I'm looking all around. No wonder they think we're weird. We got seven eyes, honey. What does that mean? We're searching it out. We're reading every line for here a little. And there, whoops, there it is. I see it. It's all coming together. I see me. I see me. I see me in the book. Seven eyes, seven horns. He that sits on the throne. Hey, he said, I saw somebody on the throne. And the only way they got there, they had seven horns and seven eyes. They carried the seven spirits of God. Read three and 12, shall we? I'm coming to an end here in a minute. Him that overcometh. Not to he that goes to church or even he that gets the Holy Ghost or he that gets. No, no. Only the whole ghost. Read, will I make a pillar in the temple of my God? Yahweh. My God, I will be a pillar. How are you going to be a pillar when you crumble under everything that happens to you down here? Come on. Brother Vaughn, my life is hard. You're a pillar. Brother Vaughn, I feel like crumbling. You don't have that option. You're a pillar in the temple of my God. What are you thinking? You know the beautiful thing about pillars? They carry weight when nobody's looking. Pillars ain't getting no attention. They just doing the job. They holding up the building. They holding up the work of God. They're holding up their duty. Why? They're overcoming. Verse 21, and I'm gonna let y'all go in a few minutes. To him that overcometh, will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame and am set down with my father in his throne. There we go. That's it. It's all in a nutshell right there. That's right. And you know what he said? I grew seven horns. I had seven eyes. It's the only way I got on the throne. And you, I promise you, if you'll grow you a set. Brother Vaughn, life is hard. Grow a set. Brother Vaughn, I feel like I'm going under. Grow a set. As you grow a set, you'll get to sit on the throne of God. Oh, hallelujah to God. I feel like giving up. I'm so sick of people giving up. That's why you will never rule with Christ. I'll tell you why you need seven eyes, brother Esher. Because when all you can see is trouble, those other six eyes will show you God's purpose. When all you see is bill collectors, you'll see the blessing with the other eyes. When all you see is heartache and suffering and pain, you need six more eyes is what you need to see what God is doing in your life, to see what God is making out of you. You need more than one eye. You feel like giving up? Look with that other eye. That's why Elijah said, open his eyes, Lord. Let him see greater are those that are for us. Open his eyes. Give him a set of eyes. Elijah said, we're about to go under. Elijah said, grow your set, son. Look, now look again what you see now. Hallelujah. Open those eyes. You'll never doubt God if you grow those eyes. You can never backslide if you've got seven eyes. Brother, when I get more eyes, let me tell you what happens. Strangest thing you ever saw. The more you read, the more eyes you get. The more you exercise, the more muscles you get. The more you read the word of God, the more an eye will pop out. All of a sudden, when it looked like you was going under, bam! You see a scripture that says I once was young, and now I'm old. But I've never seen the righteous forsaken or his seed begging for bread. That's what an extra eye will do for you. Young man, young man, what did you see out there? It was just a cloud. It wasn't nothing. I just saw a cloud. It wasn't nothing, Elijah. Just the sigh. Elijah said, oh no, we got different eyes, buddy. I see the abundance of rain. You see a cloud, but I see what my eyes is showing me. You need eyes. Young man, go out there and tell me what you see. It wasn't nothing. It wasn't no real miracle. God just healed a little headache. It wasn't nothing. Oh, but see, my eyes said if he can heal a headache, he can heal a cancer. See, my eyes see beyond the little things. My eyes see beyond what you see. I've got eyes to see. And let me tell you what else is going to happen after you grow seven eyes. You're going to start listening to the voice of God and start popping out seven ears. That's why the Bible said, he that hath an ear, let him hear. Because them two ears won't work. But the more you listen to the voice of God, ears start popping out that you didn't know you had. All of a sudden, you start hearing what God said rather than what the world said. Grow, you are set. See, if your Holy Ghost was just a trip to the altar, you got the Holy Ghost. I'm going to take that away from you. Yeah, you're over the gibbering in tongues. You got something. I'm not going to take it away from you. But I'm going to tell you what, it ain't going to work for you tomorrow. Yeah, I remember when I got it. I don't. Because the last time I got it was this morning. All I remember is I needed it today and I got it. You understand? I don't know when I got the Holy Ghost, but I know I got it again today. When the shirt tail comes out, that means I'm getting ready to preach. That's all that means. It means I'm tired of trying to hide my stomach. I'm ready to preach this thing now. Oh, yeah. You got to learn how to walk in the Spirit. The Bible said, the Bible said that though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil because I got eyes that can see. I got ears that can hear nothing though my enemies come upon me to destroy me and eat up my flesh. They will stumble and fall because I got eyes. You need eyes tonight. You need to let God take your eyes and pop them out. So you can walk in the Spirit. The Bible said, the Bible said, He said that those that walk not after the flesh but walk after the Spirit, there is nothing they will ask for that I won't give to them. Why? Because all they'll ask for is what they're hearing the Father say. When you get in the Spirit, you cannot fall because you've got strength that is bigger than you. It's greater than you. You must be filled. You must be filled with the Spirit of God. That half an ear. Everybody ain't got no ear. They ain't got no ear. Because all this ear will hear is they talking about you and they running you down. They think you crazy all over town. But then when they tell me that, I feel another ear pop open and I hear the Lord say, You're a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a peculiar people, called out of darkness into this marvelous light. You need the Holy Ghost. You need it. Hallelujah. You need to be baptized. You need to be baptized. Woo! Hallelujah. Turn to your neighbor and say, Grow a set. Get you a set of eyes. Get you a set of ears. Why? Because you can't walk through this world. You got to have another set of ears. You got to have seven horns. Why? Because when hell comes against you, when you get seven horns, it don't matter how bad it gets. It don't matter how hard it gets. If you've got seven horns, every live the devil will hang off of each horn. It'll protect your mind. It'll keep your mind right. It'll keep you walking holy before the Lord. I got seven horns, devil, and one will hold every lie that you told me. It'll hold every lie that you told me. Hey! Why don't you get out and dance with your horns, with your ears, with your eyes? Hey! Somebody dance before the Lord. Come on and put your horns on. Come on. Come on, somebody. Shout yes! Yeah! Yes, Lord! I got horns in my head. I got horns on my forehead. I got ears everywhere. The seven spirits of Yahweh. Tell your enemy, when you come at me one way, you better come seven ways. Why? I'm growing. I'm not that little bitty lamb I was. I got a horn now. You used to could push me over, run me over, roll me over. But I got a horn now. No, I got one here, one there, one there, popping out everywhere. Authority. Authority. You know what those horns represent? Authority. When the devil lies to you, I promise you, if you'll grow a set, they'll never stick. They'll kill your emotions. Your emotions will fall dead in their presence. I came to preach. We only got to two verses. But I came to preach to you tonight. That as you grow in God, God grows in you. Since you didn't hear it, I'll say it all over again. As you grow in God, God grows in you. How does he grow? Here a little, one horn. There a little, another horn. Here a little, there a little. There's another one. Here a little, there a little. Before you know it, you're just like Yahshua. You can destroy every enemy. You've got the power. When the devil tells you you're broke, say, hold on, I'm going to open this other eye. I thought you paid your tithes last week. Hold on, devil. Let me open this eye. Because when I look out this eye, I see where he woke me up this morning. I see where he started me on my way. Clothed and in my right mind, I see. When he talks in your ear, that God's forgotten you. Say, wait a minute, I'm hearing something in this ear. That Lord, I'll be with you always, even to the end of the world. I said, ain't no party like a Holy Ghost party. I said, ain't no party like a Holy Ghost party. Because a Holy Ghost party don't stop. I've been serving the Lord for a long time. There have been days I woke up, I didn't know how I was going to make it through. But I found out from my grandmother, when I don't know what to do, I just call out and say, help me. Can you help me today? And as you cry out to God, he cries out to you. As you reach for God, he reaches to you. I want to tell everybody before we leave, you'll have to battle every day of your life against the lies of the enemy. And if all you've got's a little Holy Ghost, you won't be here next week. Some of you have been in church now for four and five hours tonight. Do you know why? Because you grow in eyes. Brethren, how did I grow in eyes? Did you see anything in the Word tonight you didn't see before? Did you see anything tonight you didn't see yesterday? You grew in eyes. Did you hear something tonight you didn't hear before? You grew an ear. He that hath an ear, let him hear. You ought to get down, go to town, and do the Holy Ghost boogie. You ought to dance over every enemy, every trial, every temptation. You've got the power. Do you have the power tonight? Yeah, yeah. Power, Lord. Power, Lord. Before we go home, I want to warn you about something. The less you walk in the Spirit, them eyes will start closing up. When you start laying out of church, I prophesy to you, if you ever miss three services without a reason, we won't never see you again. You know why? Your eyes start closing. Your ears start closing. You don't miss church for nothing. Why? Your eyes depend on it. Because like Mother Ruth Heflin said about the preaching of the Word on that clip tonight, she said there's something about... Brother Von, I'll listen to it on the internet. I promise you it's not the same. There is something in the congregation, the mysteries of God. Children, I've lost people in this congregation. You know why? They begin to lose their eyesight. The more you hunger for truth, the more eyes will start growing. But when you lose that hunger, you don't need so many eyes now. What God's doing in me, it's for eternity. What God's making of me, it's for eternity. It's not just for today or even tomorrow, for this shall pass away. What God's doing in me, it is for eternity.
