up on the coast um all my life I actually graad graduated from Bay High and my dad pastors Miracle Tabernacle in wer Mississippi and actually to make a long story short like a few of few people few around the coast lost everything they had a Katrina 30 ft of water over their home lost everything but the clothes on their back lost their church God restored everything they've got their home back their church back Dad renamed the church Miracle (00:36) Tabernacle well let's just say a year ago on November 1st um I had actually for eight months have a nurse picking up on patients and I had been on Lord have from my back and one day on November 1st I was redecorating the house for Thanksgiving and took um I pulled my back out so I went I thought being a nurse you know I can medicate myself went and took FL Tab and then as that went on I couldn't kill the pain so I'm going to kill it I took more before long being not a big person soaked into my tissues and I wasn't even in my mind (01:12) it's nothing I was so ashamed of this being a nurse to be honest with you guys I was so ashamed of this for so long I didn't want to tell anybody I did this and you know I like I'm being a nurse I should know better but I did God said no you're going to tell it and I am but I took it and I must have taken I don't even know how many I took but for 3 days I was in my bed I was at my parents and my mother my little sweet mother my dad they didn't know what happened they just knew that I was different something was (01:41) wrong my mom knew I pulled my back out being my wonderful mother she is she would just rub my back and you know she would just pray for me and for 3 days I laid there and just think about this 3 days all of this is soaking into my tissues and I still can't believe I mean I know I can believe but for three days that I actually made it through that and then they called in people they called in people from their Church on a Sunday this was November 2nd I didn't show up for church and I do the music at our church and um I didn't show up for (02:14) church my mom said something's wrong and they were going to have their Thanksgiving dinner at the church and I didn't show up so my mom went home she called in the people from the church they came to my home they started praying for me and I still was Ling there said poor little Karen she must be just tired she works 13 hour shifts which I just did yesterday actually she work searching out she she must be just really tired and she just let's let her rest but I know her back is hurting so they didn't do anything I don't know (02:40) what they were thinking they they said well anyway they were praying and that morning of November 3rd my mother was sleeping beside me she said she wouldn't leave me she knew something was wrong and she just kept rubbing my back and all of a sudden she looked at me and I was like a little dead cat just like curled up like a little bitt kitten you know that dies and they're black and they're blue and cold and she screamed for my father she said something's wrong and my father came to get me he went to stand me up and I was as stiff as a (03:11) board I couldn't move my son I have a 21y old son going to be 21 in this month thank you Jesus for him and um he came in there he got me he picked me up threw me in the car we live right by Handcock Medical Center I don't know if you know where that is but um that was the closest hospital so they drove me to Hancock and on the way there this is November thir 3rd this is my mother's birthday and she had me in her lap and she said uh she looked at me and I quit breathing and she had her hand on my stomach and she screamed to my dad his (03:48) name is Bryan she said briyan she's gone and my dad and my son the only thing that they could say so fast but it's so powerful they scream Jesus that's all they said Jesus and my mother said as soon as they said that my stomach it just started to move so they got me to the hospital they got me out they put me in on the gurnie laid me down the doctor came out and told my parents they did blood levels the the CED inin which is what is the Lord Happ was so toxic in my body I mean it had soaked through all my tissues and they (04:24) told my mother and my father they said you've waited too long your daughter's not going to make it we have to we given her a 0% chance to live call in your family well my they called in the family but my mother went screaming through Handcock Medical Center she just was screaming to the top of her lung my daughter's not dead my daughter's not dead God I know my home was taken away at krina my church was taken away but my daughter is not going to be taken away and she ran out of that hospital she said I've just got to get away from this (04:58) she ran up into her car and uh just sat in there and she just started praying in the name of Jesus I know you're touching Karen I know you're touching Karen I believe you God I've been seeing too many things happen I know it's not for a time to go and there was this African-American uh guy that was working in the hospital and laugh he run he heard a voice he said he said I hear someone saying Jesus my daughter's like she he ran all through Hancock Medical Center to find that voice he ran to my mother's car and he knocked on the door (05:28) and on the window and my mother um left the window down he took her hand he said I don't know who you are he said but we're going to pray right now and they started praying right then and there and he said we're two or three guys there us two right now to go on with the story the family came in they said no we're going to send her to two lane Medical Center in New Orleans and which what they did they and this was done they my mother my father brought me there at 5:00 in the morning they didn't get me to two lane they just (05:54) laid me on the gney they did nothing with me I mean I'm just lying here on the gney until 3:00 that evening okay on November 3rd brought me transported me an ambulance to a two lane Medical Center New Orleans and got there they put me cuz they already informed them what was coming to them so they got the best specialist they put me on the transplant floor which is where you would transplant you know uh kidneys lungs liver all of that they said because they told them they said we're giving you someone that's that's dead (06:29) okay okay I got there and Dr Regenstein um who is they called him God at to Lane I'll tell you more about that later but they call him got it uh tuling put me on the FL they said told the family came out and told everybody said you know we're going to give Karen a 10% chance to live he said but if she does live I'll let you know she'll have to have her organs transplanted and she will be a vegetable though she'll be a veg I'm just going to be honest with you so I was on a ventilator they put me on a ventilator (06:59) for my lung my heart wasn't working they put me on a drip Lea fed for my heart my liver the the cedam Menin had soaked into my liver so heavily I was as yellow they told me now I didn't see it but I just saw myself when I came back yellow I mean yellow okay they said it was unbelievable yellow and my kidneys I was blown up my kidneys weren't working they had on dialysis for my kidneys everything no Argan was there my skin was black and blue black and blue dead dead skin it was gone everything gone um well guess what (07:41) okay anyway my father my mother everybody there they called worldwide network of prayer all over the world prayers were going up ministers people started flowing in they let in my IU room and if I don't know about if you know about IU they won't let more than two or three people would let 30 people in my room at a time they came there with oil they were anointing the IV poles they were anointing my bed anointing me they probably poured me an oil I wouldn't doubt it you know when the nurse wasn't looking throw some oil (08:15) on me but they were just they were praying over me prayers were going up and the healing was coming down they didn't know exactly what was happening but as time went on I got off the ventilator days later I was paralyzed I couldn't use my hands at all I couldn't use my feet my legs nothing was working and my son my wonderful son Kent who I'm so proud of he would give me my water he would feed me you know and then God whenever I was on the ventilator and they were saying 10% God gave him a vision he said and he told everybody God (08:53) showed me my mom is going to be running around this nursing station and so anyway he was feeding me and all that and then I started to walk a little bit and I had to use a walker to walk with and whenever I started um actually whenever they started the specialist started coming in I was there for 3 weeks and the specialist started to come in as time went on I was about to leave and the liver specialist you know he comes in and then two lane is where they have a lot of interns where they learn and they have a lot of you know they've (09:26) gotten a lot of knowledge they all have their little notebooks in their books and they're following behind the leader which is the specialist and he would come in and said Karen he said all of your labs are perfect your your liver he said your body is turning it around he said you're never going to need anything else for your liver honey he said you don't need anything and so then the heart specialist came in he said Karen your heart is perfect we see no arhythmia there's no damage to your heart we see no kind of anything on the (09:57) EKG it is absolutely perfect there's no damage done there none then the kidney specialist came in and then all in meantime if you can picture this I tell somebody your watch Bo's Anatomy but you see all the interns behind them and they're like you know they're writing us down and this nothing is adding up what they've been learning in school this doesn't happen in 3 weeks time okay and so you're not going to need anything for your kidneys you're never going to need dialysis again in fact my kidneys were working better better than they ever (10:30) were and everything was going there so heart liver lungs kidneys every organ my skin and I will tell you that you talked about having an exfoliation you know and you get all younger looking well my skin actually peels from here to my very toes off off I mean off completely off and I can tell you this that the doctor Dr rean son he came there said he called me Kiddo he called me the miracle kid every time he called me he hey Miracle kid and he come there said Karen he said you made me look good he said um I have to (11:10) say that you made me look good he said and everybody thinks I'm pretty good here he said and I can do a lot he said but I didn't have anything to do with this oh yeah he said God God healed you honey he said K you were dead you were dead dead honey you were dead and every nurse in there there was not one person didn't acknowledge God they said God did this she's a miracle she's a miracle and let me tell you something the lady that is over the medical records at T Lane beautiful uh African-American L she is beautiful and she uh 20 years has been (11:51) at two lane doing the records and she said she was watching me on the you know on her uh computer every information come across she was following me and when I came in there and she was noticing okay she's still here she's still here she's still here this was over 3 weeks I got go meet this girl I mean wait a minute she she came in this was dead this was dead this was dead this was dead okay no no no it's not she come she had to come up to my floor to my I you she pulled the curtain she said I got to see you and then I got to dance (12:23) she said she said wait she said you you're a good nurse she said but you're going to this is big you're going to tell thousands if you don't mind I'm going tell my church said it was somewhere in buy we're not going to buy in the morning she said I'm going to go tell my church about this my people need to hear that God still raises people from the dead and yeah yeah and she shouted around that whole room she danced and she praised God and she thanked him and I'm going tell you what I haven't been on one pill not even a (12:57) pill since I've been out of there I got out there yesterday I was with VI Terry yesterday I said this is my birthday yesterday was one year since I've been out in the hospital haven't been on one pill I got out of there 2 weeks later I was running 3 miles a day I Run 3 to 6 miles a day now I run the Halls at the hospital 12 to 13 hour shift they look at me they said here my God we ain't never seen a happier or more injected person I said if you just know what God has done for me if you just know what God has done for me honey look (13:27) Lazarus you know you've been hearing about that for years do you know what a doctor told me yesterday yesterday do you know what a doctor told me yesterday I told him what happened and Dr esot said K you know honey if this would be biblical days it would we'd be seeing Lazarus and Karen yes so I'm here to tell you tonight that God he knows you're here he knows your need he can do if he can bring me this person right here I'm nothing that special but if he can bring me back from death and I was totally dead to life what can he do it for you (14:07) yes he can I believe it I believe it I believe it and I'm going to tell you this though I've got a long story and I am going to write books sister Vicki was encouraging me for that where God has brought me back from so many things and you know what the devil thought he had me he thought he had me but devil you a liar sucker I said I'm back you know what I said you ain't going to have me you ain't going to have me no no no no he will get your life he will tear it up he'll make you think you can't have a marriage he'll make you think you can't (14:40) have a home he'll try to he tried to take my child he tried to take my child's mind that God brought him back 100% then he tried to take me he wanted me got the devil wanted me he said I got to have her you know I had a call in in my life I got to have her I'm going to lure her everywhere I can and then when he thought he had me had me on the desk bed God said no no no you cannot have her You She's Mine she is mine and I'm going to tell you right now that God my mother my father dedicated me to him when I was a (15:13) baby God he gave me gifts but he's given me more gifts since I've been back I promise you people have already that have already passed in my hospital where I work and God has shown me one guy it was his last day I didn't know to live but absolutely God moved on me to put everything in my hands which was full of things I had to go and give to other patients and God said put it on the table sit down and tell this man about Jesus this man had lost his whole life he was living in his van he drank he drank everything away he had therosis of (15:46) the liver he bled out and and and totally went into IU and he came back to life came on our floor I told this man about Jesus he was crying and pouring his heart out he said I want God in my life I want life different I said you can have your life different God is the one who can do this for you and at 10:30 I told him this at 12:00 I roll him down to go have surgery they were going to try to stop the bleeding they called a Cod I heard it I ran to his uh room into where they were coding him I called my dad immediately I ran up to Dad pray for (16:20) him right now you don't know him but pray for him we started to pray for him he came back we got him the ICU got him in the ventilator and I said God I said I want you to clear this room out there were surgeons there were people working on him putting lines in him everywhere I went in there and I held his his hand he was on a vtil everybody cleared out the room held his hand and I said Derek I said this is your nurse care and you know what we talked about I said if God heard you he hears your heart and his tears were just pouring down his eyes (16:52) and he was just pouring and I know he heard me and his feet just started to move and I left out of there and he died that night but I went before I could even get in my car I sat on the floor that dirty floor in that bathroom and I just cried so hard I said thank you Jesus for bringing me back thank you Jesus for letting me listen to you to tell this man about Jesus one more time that he can make his eternity and I'm telling you what God until the day that I die wherever I go every day that I live I will tell people about you I will (17:24) tell people what you did for me it's not going to be hidden it's something that I'm going to H and I am so thankful to be here and bless all
