Summary
The law of Jubilee reveals Yahweh’s plan for the Restoration of All Things. Inheritance could be lost temporarily, but Yahweh’s law required the cancellation of debt, the release of servants, and the eventual return of every possession. Yahshua fulfills the role of Israel’s kinsman-redeemer, bringing the called remnant from slavery to sin into service to righteousness. These firstfruits receive freedom early so they can become Yahweh’s governmental priesthood and serve the remaining creation. At the great Jubilee, all creation will be delivered from corruption. Judgment will bring correction, every knee will bow, every tongue will confess, and humanity will be restored to Yahweh’s righteous order.
