The Mystery of Iniquity: The Antichrist Revealed Pastor John Shane Vaughn — First Harvest Ministries International ________________ 1 All right, we're going to get right to the word tonight; pull up on that screen 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 and verse 1; so to get our minds back on what we were talking about let's read that verse again; second Thessalonians 2 and 7; for the mystery of iniquity does already work; only he who now lth will let; let's change that; only he that now restrain will restrain. 2 And what did I tell you the Christian Church thinks that that verse means? Say it again; that's correct; and that only he that's holding that evil back, when we leave quote unquote, then there'll be no restrainer left on the earth; well all I got to say about that is, if the church is restraining evil today God help us, cuz look around; amen; that's all I got to say; so we know that's not what it means. 3 Before I get started I want to read to you four quotes; these are from some of the greatest theologians in history; if you've ever heard of Augustine, he is one of the early Catholic fathers; he wrote these words about this verse, about this verse; here's what he said: I confess that I am entirely ignorant of what means this verse; to say he was the smartest man in the Catholic Church anyway, he confesses he don't have any idea what that verse means. 4 New Testament Greek scholar Marvin: I attempt no interpretation of this passage as a whole because I do not understand; renowned Greek linguist said: in such vague form we can hardly clear it up; in other words, that verse is so ambiguous that you just can't clear up what it means; in our own day Leon Morris wrote: take great care in handling this notoriously difficult passage. 5 FF Bruce wrote: there are few New Testament passages which can boast such a variety of interpretations as this verse; Ernest Best says that it is exceptionally difficult to know what that verse means; so I just read all that so you would know in this ministry what a gift it is when the Lord opens the word for us; it really is; it's a gift; it's a gift. 6 We're going to start at verse one and we're going to run through this; I'll read it real quickly; now we beseech you brethren by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and by our gathering together unto him that you be not shaken in mind or troubled neither by spirit nor by word nor by letter asked from us as that the day of Christ is at hand. 7 Let no man deceive you by any means for that day shall not come except there come a falling away first and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; now if you grew up in the Christian church here's what they think that is saying: they think that that is saying that there'll be a falling away at the end time and that will precede the Antichrist, the son of man will then be revealed and the son of perdition. 8 All right and then they tell us in verse four that he's going to go into that temple in Jerusalem and exalt himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped so that he as God sits in the temple; so the Christian interpretation of that is: the Antichrist is going to do what, the abomination of desolation, he's going to go set in the temple in Jerusalem and make himself God. 9 Verse five: remember ye not that when I was yet with you I told you these things; and now you know what withholdeth; all right, pull up that word withholdeth; go to verse six right there, click on that verse son; it's the same meaning; go down to withholdeth; all right the word is katecho; now remember katecho because you're going to find this word is used throughout this chapter but they change it in one verse, it says leth. 10 Now go down to verse seven and go to there we go and click on that word leth; here's why the Bible can be so confusing; what's the word for leth? Same word; okay, so why use leth in one place and withholdeth in the other? So you've got to understand the word; click on 2722, brother, and let's study katecho; katecho means to hold or hold fast, to keep, possess, stay, take, have, or make. 11 To hold back, you hear that? To hold back, to detain, to retain, to restrain or hinder; that which hinders; to hold down, in various applications, to have, to hold, to keep, to let, to make, to possess, retain, see, stay; so what are you getting from katecho? Restraint; holding back; possessing, sir; think of a horse, take a hold of it; all right, so keep in mind when we're studying this tonight what katecho means. 12 Verse eight: and then shall the wicked be revealed; okay, whom yet the Lord will consume with the spirit of his mouth and will destroy with the brightness of his coming; even him whose coming is after the work of Satan with all power and signs and wonders, deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish, because they receive not the love of the truth that they might be saved. 13 For this cause God shall send them strong delusions that they should believe a lie; that they all might be damned who believe not the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness; but we are bound to give thanks always to God for you brethren, beloved of Yeshua, because Yahweh hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation, sir; amen; oh, that's powerful; Yahweh chose you from the beginning to salvation through sanctification of the spirit and for belief of the truth. 14 So if you're here tonight you had nothing to do with it; that's right; nothing at all; it tells you right there that he chose you to be called by the spirit, to be sanctified, and to be saved, and to believe the truth; let me say this to every one of you watching me and those here: if you have an overwhelming love for truth, not church but truth, an overwhelming desire to know the truth, I want you to know that is a supernatural work of the Holy Spirit in your life from Yahweh himself; amen. 15 That love of truth; verse 14: where unto he called you by our gospel; to the obtaining; did you see that? Where unto he called you by our gospel; what he's telling you there is that by that choosing you were called to the gospel; okay; verse 15: therefore brethren stand fast, hold the traditions which you have been taught by word or by epistle. 16 Now Yesua himself and God his Father which have loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish you into every good work; so there's two things we're going to talk about tonight and tomorrow: the great falling away and the Antichrist himself; so we're going to start with first of all identifying who the Antichrist is. 17 So many people have tried to do that over the years; it sounds like a fairy tale; I want to talk to you about the Christian church and what they believe the Antichrist is; carnal minds have interpreted the Antichrist; untold millions of Christians all live in fear; every Christian you know of lives in fear of one thing: the Antichrist; that's why they so desperately want a rapture, Sister C; they want to get out of here before the Antichrist shows up; amen. 18 And so the Antichrist, here's what they have taught: they have taught that he is supposed to be a world political leader; first of all he cannot be a world political leader because of the 10 toes; to have a world political leader you've got to have world peace, you got to have a world government; my Bible said there will never be a coming together of the nations, ever. 19 The 10 toes will always be divided, with the 10 tribes of Israel leading the governments of the end time, and we do today; America, Great Britain, Canada, on and on, all these nations are leading but they're doing it separately; absolutely; so we know that the Antichrist, what they've told us, the one world dictator is unscriptural; we know that. 20 All right, they've said he's going to be sinister and tyrannical, the very incarnation of evil, the very offspring of the devil, the enemy of the Jewish people; he is to be revealed after what we call the rapture and will make his headquarters in Jerusalem; and where is that going to be? In that Temple; in other words they believe he is going to move into God's temple and he is going to set up his headquarters. 21 If you don't know what I'm talking about you've never heard Christian eschatology; go to any Christian, go to any end time teaching and this is what they're going to teach you about the end times; I'm going to show you tonight it's 100% lies; amen; and we're going to explain it to you in detail; they said that his manifestation, the Antichrist, when he manifests, that will start the 70 weeks of Daniel. 22 The Scofield reference Bible, which is the worst Bible you could ever have in your possession; Scofield; because Scofield was a dispensationalist, meaning he divided prophecy up into dispensations; he said the very same thing about the Antichrist; but we run into a problem about the Antichrist and it is, I believe, verse number seven. 23 For the mystery of iniquity; let's break that; go to verse seven son; let's look at a few word meanings; click right there; I'm going slow on purpose because you got to get this; it's going to blow your mind tonight; it's going to change your life; the word, the word mystery; when you see the word mysterion you automatically think of Scooby-Doo and Nancy Drew mystery; what is a mystery, Sister Angel? Something no one can solve. 24 I want to show you that that word means the total opposite of that; click on it; 3466; the word mysterion does not mean our word mystery; it just means something secret, something that's hidden from some people; a secret; yes sir; religious secrets confided only to the initiated and not to ordinary people; okay; so when you see the mystery of iniquity, if you don't break that word down you won't understand what it's saying. 25 It's not, there's no mystery of iniquity; there's a secret of iniquity that's been lurking in the church secretly for 2,000 years; okay; now go back and let's look at the word iniquity right there; why, that word anomia; you're gonna need to know that word; anomia; nomia; anytime you have an A in front of a word that means the opposite of what it's saying. 26 For example, you might be, trying to think of a word; you're not typical, you're atypical; okay; so click on anomia; scroll up; you're doing a great job son; okay, right here; without law, transgressing the law, transgression of the law; go up; anomia from the, that's your root word, always go to your root word; look; illegal, usurper, violation of the law. 27 So now let's go back and let's read the verse the way it should read; verse seven: for the secret of lawlessness does already work; that was written nearly 2,000 years ago; so if the Antichrist is something that is coming we have a major problem; because if it's something that's going to come at the end of time, 2,000 years later, then when Paul said it does already work you cannot fit that into the future after the rapture. 28 The secret hiding in the church of lawlessness is not something that's going to come after the rapture; it's something that is already in the church; and I want you to go to verse 15; scroll up; and I want to show you, if Paul was warning them about a future Antichrist, why would he then say therefore brethren, the ones that were in the room with him, stand fast, hold the traditions which you have been taught whether by word or epistle? 29 If this was an event that was going to happen after the rapture why is he telling the brethren then to hold fast? Amen; hold fast; he was not talking about a future generation; he was talking about his generation; Elder, let's go to Matthew 7:21-23; as we read this remember that the Greek word for iniquity, anomia, is lawlessness, without law. 30 Now I need someone to tell me how in the name of all that's holy can you get up and preach that the law was nailed to the cross if iniquity means violation of the law? Let's read Matthew 7:21 through 23; amen; go there on the screen brother; go ahead; not everyone that saith unto me Lord Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 31 Many will say to me in that day Lord Lord have we not prophesied in thy name and in thy name have cast out devils and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them I never knew you; depart from me ye that work iniquity; in those verses you have two groups of people: those that do the father's will, sir, and those that don't. 32 Both of these people are spirit-filled; right; I'm going to prove it in a minute; yes sir; both of them go to church, both of them pay their tithe, both of them dance during the music, both of them say their bedtime prayers, both of them believe that Jesus is Lord; yes sir; these two groups of people sit in every Christian church; and there's a whole lot more of these, I'm sorry, these than there are these. 33 There are two classes of people: those that do the father's will and those that work iniquity; the problem is the Christian, you go ask a Christian what is iniquity and they will say, well you know, they have no idea what iniquity is; y'all don't go to sleep on me, I'm gonna get there in a minute; they don't know what iniquity is. 34 If iniquity is the law, Sister Dugan, and all you hear every Sunday at your church is how you've been set free from the law, you're no longer bound by the law, right, you're no longer, Elder, ever got to worry about the law anymore; if that's the case then why in the name of God does he tell you not to commit iniquity? Now if you're going to tell me what iniquity is you've got to then show me what it is because you can't decide for yourself what iniquity is or there won't be no iniquity. 35 That's exactly right; you can't tell me, Elder, what iniquity is; he has to tell you; and he wrote something called a Torah that tells you exactly what iniquity is; but when we come into the New Testament we nail that to the cross; and that's why the Bible said that these two groups of people, these, would be so confused whenever he tells them depart from me, you worker of iniquity; or in other words those of you, you had all of that but you transgressed the law; and I can just hear them saying but you nailed it to the cross; and then, thank you, thank you, we going to get somewhere. 36 You just hold your horses, honey, where we're going with this; I'm going to prove the whole Antichrist thing's been taught wrong for 2,000 years; I'm going to tell it to you tonight; amen; people, y'all, I don't ask for these revelations, they ask for me; yes sir; and that's why I tell people that come to this church, you get caught up in stupid talk and stupid stuff, you don't know where you're sitting; you just don't; you get too comfortable; you don't understand what's in the midst of you right. 37 God's revealing a revelation that's been waiting to be revealed for 2,000 years; amen; I want you to notice something about these people over here, the don'ts; the don'ts; here's what I want you to notice about them: every single one of them are not ungodly people; that's right; oh no; those people are not ungodly; do you, how many ungodly people do you know that want to go around and cast the devils out of people? They're all godly. 38 Hallelujah, that's nice; the Bible said they prayed for the sick; do you know ungodly people that just walk around praying for the sick? They have no desire for that; this is sincere believers, sir, sir, sincere; they are truly shocked, Elder, when he says depart from me; because all they're remembering is every sermon they heard every Sunday that if you'll just believe on the Lord Jesus Christ with all your heart you'll be all right. 39 But notice what Yesua did not do there; he did not say depart from me into eternal hell fire; he just said you can't come in my kingdom; the government; see, the problem is the church teaches you nothing about the government and so everything about heaven, eternity, hell, but nobody's teaching the government message that we teach; and without that missing ingredient, the kingdom of God. 40 Which by the way I just found out, Elder Peachy told me that their meeting next week is going to be a very busy week for me; I leave here Sunday to preach Sister R's house funeral on Monday; I'll fly there, fly from there to Mar-a-Lago, and then the next morning at 4:00 I have to get up, fly to Pennsylvania to preach there, and then I got to go back to Mar-a-Lago and pick my little wife up because there's no way she could make that quick of a trip. 41 And so Brother Peachy told me that so far we've got right at 50 people that know nothing about our ministry that's coming to hear about the kingdom of God; amen; isn't that wonderful? Hallelujah; and one of those people, Elder Peachy, if your children are watching, mute real quick cuz I don't want to embarrass; go ahead and mute it; all right; he wrote me today and said pastor; no you don't have to mute the whole thing; I just told him to mute it in other words on his end. 42 Yeah, yeah; so he told me, he said pastor, my daughter, well I'm not going to tell all this, but anyway, she's in a bad way and fell down on her luck and all of a sudden had to come back home; don't you love when Yahweh drags them? And he said pastor, before, she couldn't stand you; she said you're too loud; she said; but she's so excited to be there and hear you preach this Saturday; amen; isn't that wonderful? One of them can't stand me; I think it was her; I may have messed that up a little bit; but and his son's coming, so all his children are coming to be in the Sabbath service; amen; isn't that just wonderful? Hallelujah, glory. 43 They said Lord, Lord, Lord, Lord; they knew he was Lord; that's right; the message of his lordship had reached them; somebody preached to them a gospel; that's right; but they still continued to serve God in their own way, right; they gave their heart to the Lord just not their mind; oh, y'all see; they gave their, what they believed to be their heart, to the Lord; but they didn't give him their mind. 44 Your mind is where he's got to get into to transform you by his word; hallelujah; he wants in that mind; now when he gets in there, Sister Cie, he's going to start messing with the way you think; that's right; whenever he begins to change your mind is whenever he begins to take control of your life. 45 Now one thing about the Antichrist that I want you to notice before I begin to reveal him to you; notice what it says about the Antichrist specifically in verse number eight of 2 Thessalonians chapter 2; I want to show you what it doesn't say and then what it does say; and brother, pull verse eight up on your screen over here so we can do some word study. 46 And then shall that wicked be revealed; notice what it doesn't say; it doesn't say; click on that right there son, first 2 and 8; it doesn't say the Antichrist is going to be born or all of a sudden come into existence; no no no; it says he's going to be what? That means he was always there but he was hiding in secret; but God's going to raise up a group of people going to expose him and expunge him. 47 You're not hearing me now; hallelujah; revealed; click on it; apocalypto; go up; it doesn't say the Antichrist is going to be born, he's going to be uncovered; right there; go; he's going to be uncovered; hallelujah; he ain't going to come on the scene; he was always there; that's right; he's just going to, we're going to lay open what has been covered up for 2,000 years in God's church; we're going to expose that secret sin in the house of God. 48 That's right; come on now, Elder Connelly, you're going to get it just a second where I'm headed with this; uncover; we're going to disclose; we're going to make him so bare that he's going to fight every one of us cuz we the only one undressing him; he's been hiding so good in all of these churches for so long; how dare you expose him; hallelujah. 49 It says the wicked one will be revealed; go up; go up; the other way; keep going; metaphorically, to make known, to make manifest, to disclose; I do that every time I preach, sir; disclose what before was unknown; he was always there, he was always there, but he was unknown; how was he unknown, Brother Carter? Because he was the preacher; hallelujah. 50 My God; he was up telling you the Sabbath was Sunday; oh, he was telling you that God did away with the holy days and replaced them with pagan holidays; he was telling you there's three Gods, there's a trinity; on and on and on; he was hiding behind the light; hallelujah; and do you know why the Christian church, every prophecy teacher, has you looking for the Antichrist? So you won't see him; that's right, honey. 51 Stand up; I want y'all to imagine something; I want y'all to imagine I'm looking at her, telling her, Sister Karen, let's act like she's single; would you pray that God will send me a beautiful wife? Well I'm sitting there looking at one; I don't know why I need to look anywhere else; do you understand? You understand what I'm saying? So the devil's got you looking out there so you won't look right there; come on now. 52 Now hallelujah; he's so desperate to stay covered up that he will send a prophecy teacher to make you look way out yonder; oh, he's good at what he does; but God's people are better; hallelujah; glory; he's got us all looking for the falling away, he's got us looking for the Antichrist; and in so doing we never look for the Antichrist. 53 Every church I know of they love to preach about the Antichrist; you, they, it's right there in your church, hidden; it doesn't say that suddenly he's going to emerge on the scene, nor that he's going to seize political power out of nowhere and marshal vast armies together; it simply says one word: he's going to be revealed; that's it; that's he's going to be exposed; and when Yesua returns, expunged. 54 But you can't expunge until somebody like the voice of Elijah comes through and exposes; hallelujah; hey, the reason every devil in hell fights this ministry is because we are one of the few that know who he is and where he's sitting; people inbox me all the time, said pastor Von I think he's in Germany; I think he's rising up over in Germany; don't you know the devil loves that? Don't you know he loves you looking at Rome, looking for him over there, looking for him there? 55 But I think what Yesua said is about right when he said that it didn't come with observation; the kingdom is already right there among you and you didn't even know it; glory; what I'm teaching you about the Antichrist, forget your revived Roman Empire; that's carnality; that's carnality; you know how many years I've been hearing about a revived Roman Empire? Well how you going to get 10 of them when there's about 30 of them still? 56 It's going to take a millennium to get you down to 10; the 10 toes ain't got nothing to do with no revived empire; it's called them dry bones that came back to life; hallelujah; glory; oh I feel the Holy Ghost now; I know when the Holy Ghost is speaking; glory to God; he can take somebody like me and speak through them. 57 Father God; the whole world's been waiting for this man to be revealed; but I've come to tell you by the grace of God he is being revealed to those that Yahweh reveals him to; no secret; none; no secret; hallelujah; how do we know he's being revealed? Because you'll begin to find him in your own life; you will begin to go into the depths of your carnal mind and your self-will and your selfishness; and all of a sudden as you begin to strip away your self ego you'll see the Antichrist inside of you. 58 When you begin to understand this truth you will be able to grasp the fact that the destruction of the Antichrist, the man of sin, only comes after he's revealed; the revelation is the victory; once you expose him in your own mind, once you expose him in your way of thinking, you've already defeated him; when you recognize who he is and where he's at; hallelujah. 59 Roaches don't like the lights to come on; if you want to watch a roach, go reveal him; if you want to watch the devil get out of your life, reveal him; recognize him in your own mind and you'll win the victory just by knowing what it is; hallelujah; help me Holy Ghost; the revelation of who he is and where he is gives you the instant victory; he's a usurper; and the minute you recognize he's a usurper you'll kick him off the throne; but you got to know it first. 60 So to keep you from knowing, he sends a prophecy teacher with a chart; gives you a timeline, honey; I come to tell you the time is now; do you understand? It ain't coming; this has already happened; you get off your timeline and recognize what you're not looking for; everybody watching me right now, they'll all go to a prophecy conference; but I couldn't get you right now to look at your own worship and see if it lines up with the scripture. 61 Because Christ and Antichrist; Christ is the word; the Antichrist is the opposite of what the word says; I don't care if your mama said it, your church said it, your daddy said it, if the word don't say it it's Antichrist; in the morning I'm going to reveal his teachings to you; hallelujah; he is hidden. 62 Listen, I want you to hear what the Bible said; verse eight: and then shall that wicked be revealed and the Lord; click on that word Lord for me; go to; okay; kurios; okay, that's good; I want to make sure that was the same one; the Lord shall consume; listen to me carefully; even God cannot consume a devil you won't recognize. 63 Go back and read the verse and look at it; go back to the verse itself right there; and then when the wicked is revealed then the Lord will consume it and destroy it with his brightness; so to keep that bright light of truth coming into your life he's got you looking down the road instead of in your own way of thinking; come on, Pastor, I'm trying to help you. 64 I come to tell you some of you's got some Antichrist still in you and I've come to tell you that until you let it get revealed, and you let it come out, he can do nothing about it; rebellion is the Antichrist; get it out and he'll destroy it; reveal it; hallelujah; only the preaching of the word can expose your Antichrist; amen; the truth; amen. 65 I said only the preaching; if you've got Antichrist you've got anti-word; yes sir; so the only way to get rid of anti-word is to have word, word; and as you begin to listen to these sermons it will begin to; how many of you have ever listened to the message of the hour that we preach and saw things inside of you that you didn't like under the preaching of that word? That was the Antichrist being revealed by the brightness of his coming. 66 No, Pastor V, that says Satan's going to be destroyed, the Antichrist going to be destroyed when Jesus comes back; know it don't; go click on that word; amen; oh y'all see y'all all looking for the future; go up here; the Lord shall consume; keep going, with the spirit; of his mouth; what is that? That's his word; word; remember he's got a sword in his mouth in the Book of Revelation; that's right. 67 Go ahead, and shall destroy with the; come on; brightness of his; come on; click on that word coming; it means parousia; let me show you what parousia means; parousia, hold on; parousia is simply the presence; I'm telling you he came tonight; I said any time he shows up he came; with the brightness of his parousia, of his presence. 68 If the Antichrist can convince you that he's going to be destroyed when the Lord comes back then you won't try to destroy him now; don't fall for it; quit looking to the future; the future is now; he can destroy him by the brightness of his word and his presence; isn't that something? You see that word coming and you automatically thought his coming, his second coming; I got news for you; there's no such thing as a second coming; there's a final coming. 69 But there ain't no second coming because today for me I had about my 900th coming; you understand? He'll come again tomorrow, he'll come in my prayer time in the morning, he'll come for me the next day; every day that I go for him he comes for me; his presence comes for me; hallelujah; hallelujah; carnal minds looking for a villain when there's a villain inside of you. 70 Amen; if some of you watching me would get as worried about the present Antichrist as you are the future one, honey, you'd be a mighty servant of God; amen; hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah; that's right; our lives become exposed to the light of Christ; that's when the man of sin is revealed, uncovered, exposed, then dealt with and destroyed, consumed by the bright burning of the day star that shines in our hearts; hallelujah. 71 If the cunning; listen; this Antichrist is cunning, crafty, subtle, deceitful, treacherous and wicked; if that of your own carnal mind is being uncovered by the preaching of the word, I want you to explain something; we run more people out of here than we bring in; there's a reason for that; roaches don't like for you to flip the light on; hallelujah. 72 They call it control; yeah; when I flip that light on, I'm in control; you're exactly right; what you call control is what I call the preaching of the unadulterated word of God; and it will expose you; Sister Betts; right when you thought you was doing good you'll come back to church, you want to be encouraged, and you get exposed while I'm preaching; you're sitting there saying I wonder who told him that, who inboxed him? 73 Why? Because the sword of God is sharper; it'll divide to the marrow and the bone; it'll cut that devil out of you; and that's why people don't want a strong pastor; they want somebody voted in that they can vote out; baby you're looking at one that can't be voted out; so I'm going to preach you the truth; you understand? I'm going to preach you this truth and get you ready for the kingdom of God; hallelujah. 74 Now notice where the Antichrist's headquarters are going to be; go back to the verse we was just in; go to verse, right there; let's go up; from nine, keep scrolling; okay, go back up the other; right here; all right, stop; where is the son of sin going to be revealed? His headquarters: he'll oppose and exalt himself above all the Elohim or that which is worshiped, so that he as God sits in the church of God, showing himself the god of your imagination. 75 I want to tell you where the Antichrist is going to be revealed: in the church of God; hallelujah; hallelujah; the Antichrist is not in a bar room; that's just good old Waylon Jennings fans in the bar rooms; that's all that is; ain't bad people; people, they just want to Boot Scoot Boogie a little bit; they're not horrible people; you, they're not evil cuz they like to have a little fight out on the parking lot. 76 That's right, work out a little energy knowing they got to go home to their griping wife and they want one more moment before they do; it or the wife, the husband, either way; that ain't where the Antichrist is; he will be revealed sitting in God's church; now the whole Christian church tells you that's a temple over in Jerusalem; does it say that? No; where did we make that up at? Okay, I'm in Second Peter; that's all right, but that'll preach too; I'll preach the devil; that yeah; amen; First Peter 2 and 3 through 5; I'm sorry; if so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious; amen; to whom coming; as unto a living stone; all right, all right; this is where we're going to show you the temple; read. 79 Disallowed or rejected indeed of men but chosen of Yahweh and precious; this temple that God's building is nothing but rejected stones; amen; wow; it's the rejected temple; we going to keep reading; did you hear that? God said I'm building a temple right now, a third temple; hallelujah; and the first stone, the cornerstone, was rejected; yeah; and the only other stones that will fit will be rejected stones just like the first one; that's the pattern; you got to match the pattern. 80 Hallelujah; you can't start a building with one type of rock; hallelujah; come on now; see, if the first rock of this church was rejected of men then every other rock has got to be rejected of men; it was not sinners that rejected Christ; it was the church; it was Pharisees, Sadducees, that all made up the church of the day; yes sir; amen; amen. 81 It's not sinners that reject my message; oh no, no, no, no; it's people that think they know more than they know and they can't listen; that's what they did to Yesua; yes sir; that's right; they thought he was a law breaker but they didn't know he knew the law better than all of them put together. 82 Read Elder; can I start back? Rejected indeed of men but chosen of Yahweh and precious; yes, he is precious; that's what this building is; read verse through verse five; ye also as living stones, are you also; did you hear? He was rejected; amen; you also, amen, as living stones; read; are being built up; you being built right now, every day. 83 But let the prophecy teacher bring his chart and he'll build that temple over here at the end of the chart, after the Antichrist comes, a mirage; come on; hallelujah; and the reason we like looking up at the chart is we know that's going to be a good temple; therefore we ain't got to make this one good; come on. 84 We ain't got to worry about how we talk about one another because one day that good temple's coming, baby; we're the last temple that God's ever going to build; hallelujah; we have to become these living stones; God's calling us to it; hallelujah; no third temple my foot; come on. 85 But see what a distractor Satan is; follow your chart; right here you're in the time of the Gentiles where God lets you do anything you want to do; don't worry about it, you're going to get raptured, get out of here, blah blah blah; here's what that means: you ain't got to get your stone polished right now; that's right; you ain't got to fit in. 86 Come on, Pastor; amen; I want to say something; these people right here drove all the way from Ohio; yes sir; and Florida; to be in these services; you know why? They're trying to get their stone to fit in; you understand? They're trying to get their stone to fit in this temple that Yahweh is building all over the world. 87 Because Satan will wrap himself up, watch this, in your church Sunday and preach, you ready? Here's his sermon: do you not know that you individually are the temple of the Holy Spirit? And do you not know that you can have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ? You do not need the church; you do not need the fellowship; you do not need to assemble yourself together; that's optional if you would like to do it; and before you're done he has taken you out of the temple. 88 Sir; amen; amen; you're not a living stone unless you are fitly joined together; Brother Van On, I just can't get it together; cowards run, believers stay, there until they can find a shoe hole to fit in; we don't quit the church, we are the church; we don't go nowhere; we put that stone in a sure place; the Bible said be a nail in a sure place. 89 But you see, if you don't believe that you're the temple; all of; see, we do believe we're individually the temple; come on; that's satanic lies; it keeps you away from the jointly fitting; that's right; this church has members all over the nation; and even though we don't see each other every single day we are fitting together; we show up to the three assemblies every year; do you know why we come? To put them stones together so that he can work in our lives; amen; that's right. 90 My brother, was that verse five? Read: are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to Yahweh by Jesus, Yesua Messiah; do you know when Satan in the Messianic church, Satan will get up in the Messianic church and preach against tithing? And you know what he'll say? We only pay tithes to the levitical priest. 91 But darling, here's your problem; and they do tell you that when the temple is rebuilt in Jerusalem they'll pay tithes again to the priest; I want you to look at me cuz you're looking at a priest of the Zedakite line in the third temple; do you understand? Hallelujah; this temple is already being built, we've already got a royal priesthood; hallelujah. 92 I watch; I watch carnality; I watch my friends over in Jerusalem that I love dearly and they all getting the linen garments made; they getting all, every little sash and the miters; don't you know Satan loves that? Cuz as long as you getting a piece of material ready for a future priesthood you're letting this priesthood go to you know what; you see, he understands, if you don't know that you are the priesthood you won't act like it; hallelujah. 93 If you believe you're the priesthood of the third temple, the Bible said that those priests were careful with what they wore; that's right; amen; amen; amen; God, anytime some devil gets up in a Christian church and tells you these words: God don't care what you put on, it's what's in your heart; let me tell you something, the God of the Bible spent 630 commandments in the Torah, or 630, and in 20 to 30% of them it was telling you how to dress. 94 Oh, I know that was for the priest, I get it; and you're not a priest, right? Oh, that was for the priest; I thought you was a royal priesthood; I thought God was raising up the Melchizedek order; I thought that the, yeah; sir; that's the reason you go out in the world and attract all the wrong people cuz you're putting on all the wrong clothes. 95 Oh yeah; I come to tell you now; don't be, oh, we a royal priesthood; amen; we're so royal; and you look like a commoner; do you know why God has allowed a royal family to still be on the throne in England so that you'll still have an example of what royalty looks like? You can't do what you want to do when you're a royal priest. 96 God was; oh Brother Van, God don't care; all right; that's because you serve the Antichrist; that's another God in the church; the one I serve is the Yahweh of the Torah; okay; and I can go in that Torah and see where he told the priest: now you make sure when you put that linen ephod, don't mix it with wool; you make sure you don't sweat; if you sweat in it, burn it. 97 But God don't care; well then which God are we talking about? God don't care; the world we're living in; God don't care about nothing; but if you're a priest of a third temple he's going to tell you how to dress, how to talk, he's going to tell you how to comb your hair, he's going to tell you how to walk, he's going to tell you what you've got to do to be holy before him. 98 Oh, I ain't going to tell you, cuz if I tell you you'll get mad; but I'm going to let the Holy Ghost teach you how to be a priest, a royal priest; hallelujah; cuz God's building a third temple and I promise you it ain't royal with your cleavage and your butt hanging out all over town; that ain't royal; no, it's not; it's not royal. 99 God wants you to know who you are; oh, you can be poor and still be royal; right; you looking at a poor royal man; I'm not like the world and I know I'm not like the world; hallelujah; and I'm not ashamed of it; I'm not ashamed of it; I'm glad to be one of them; hallelujah. 100 1 Corinthians 3:17; I'm trying to get to the good part of the message; 1 Peter 3:17; know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you; I'm sorry, 1 Corinthians 3:17; now, 1 Corinthians 6:19; for you are the temple of the living God; see, Brother Von, I'm the temple; well, hold on now; as God has said I will dwell in them. 101 You better get that in your mind; if not you're going to miss out being part of the third temple; for years I've heard, since I was a little boy, I've heard how that they had found a red heifer for Jerusalem; ever since I was a little boy I also found, you know, heard that they found everything they needed to to build that temple; well honey, if you got everything you need start building; it's carnality; it's carnality. 102 Let's find out who the man of sin is; y'all ready? Romans chapter 5 verse 12 and verse 19; the Antichrist is called the man of sin; ain't that something? How the Antichrist is a man but the Christ ain't? Okay, I got it; hallelujah; I'll let that just fall down where it was; the man of sin; he's a man; praise him. 103 Read verse 12 for me; Romans five; wherefore as by one man sin entered into the world; hold on now; the Antichrist is the man of sin; we got to find out who the man of sin is; is, for by one man every sin entered the world; read; and death by sin and so death passed upon all men for that all have sinned; verse 19: for as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners; hold on, what made that man a sinner? Disobedience; to the word of God; amen. 104 And many were made sinners because of rebellion; that's right; lawlessness; but, but, but, watch this; but by the obedience of one shall many be made, be made righteous; I want you to understand this with all your heart; can you not see from these verses that Adam himself was the first man of sin? And I've got news for you, if he was the man of sin, all his sons are the men of sin; come on now. 105 Adam himself is the man of sin; and we're called the sons of man, right? So that means the man of sin is no secret; and every time you hear me preach you'll see the man of sin under the preaching of the word; hallelujah; the natural mind of a man is dark; yes; mind of; I'll prove it to you; the natural mind of a man is to get or be gotten. 106 Sir; amen; may the best man win; you wake up to win, sir, to beat everybody else; you wake up instead of them grabbing your foot you're going to grab theirs; make yourself first; you are first and you are sitting on the throne in the temple of God exalting yourself in the place of God; I'll prove it to you; I can bring you that little Bible, absolutely, because that'll change your mind. 107 I can bring that little Bible and show you now brother, it says right here not to eat that kind of food; yes sir; the man of sin says, bless God that don't apply to me; that's right; amen; that's right; amen; the man of sin says I'll just pray over it all and bless it all and pray over it; you can show them where it says in Isaiah, when Yesua returns, anybody eating pig it's going to be judged; amen; that's right, that's right. 108 The man of sin says that's Old Testament; right; the man of sin will never submit to this; amen; I can come to a wife and show her in the word, wives obey your husbands; I, that's just the way I am; I know, cuz you're the Antichrist; a godly woman says the Lord help me to do it; why? Why? Because with the throne somebody's got to vacate the throne; somebody's got to give up and surrender to the word of God. 109 I had a man in my office not long ago; I looked him in the eyes and I said sir, if you don't go to work you're worse than an infidel; I ain't seen him since; you know why? He likes that throne; yeah; you can show them in the word and they'll never surrender to it; why? The Antichrist is you; until some man of God reveals him; and then the brightness of the word will consume; it will consume him; woo; I said it'll consume him. 110 And every time you go to get back on that throne you'll hear the word of God in your ear; do you know you're sitting on a throne when you worry? Brother V, I don't know how I'm going to pay my; how'd you pay them last week? You don't know how you did, did you? I know, right; how'd you pay your bills last week, Elder Connelly? You don't know; hallelujah; same yesterday, today, and forever; he changes not. 111 When you worry you're on the throne; there's a fine line between planning, that's good, but when you get to the point of compulsive worry that's cuz you're on the throne; but anytime I get a little worried there's a scripture that comes to my mind; Sister Lori, if he feeds the little sparrow that falls to the ground, he knows you; every hair on your head; get off the throne; get off the pot; hallelujah. 112 I want to show you how to recognize if you're the Antichrist; we're going to Isaiah; hallelujah; I believe it's chapter 13, maybe; no, that's not right; where's my phone? Hallelujah; here we go; I want to show you how to reveal the Antichrist in your own life; we'll show you how to reveal him; the book of Isaiah; and when they can't get you off the throne then you wind up living on that throne, staying on it, controlling your life, got everything figured out and yet you ain't got nothing figured out. 113 I watch you people that want to fight against their being of God; their lives all look like a bunch of jokes; amen; hallelujah; I believe it's Isaiah 40; oh yes; oh yes; hallelujah; Isaiah 14; there it is; let's go to Isaiah 14 and let's start at verse 13; and here's how to always tell if you're still Antichrist or anti-word; amen. 114 Let's read it; this is called the five wills; read; for thou hast said in thine own heart; here's the spirit of Antichrist, where it all started; and it all started because you said in your mind, what? I will; I will; you said in your mind, I will pay this bill, I don't need to pray about it; wow; I will make things happen; I don't need to bow down to an unseen God; I will. 115 Anytime you will, he won't; amen; prayer; all things; get the I will out; that's Antichrist talk; who is he talking to here? Satan; yeah; the original one; that's right; man; and he said in your mind you said, I will; amen; and what's he going to do? I will ascend into heaven; I will be a usurper; amen. 116 I will leave my position in the church and get a bigger one; wow; I will know more than the pastor, the elder, anybody else; I will; I will; amen; read; I will, there's another one; exalt my throne; I'll exalt my throne above the stars of Yahweh, above the ministry; read; I will I will set also upon the mount of the congregation in the sides of the north; I will; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds. 117 I will; I will be like the most high; yet; did you hear what he just said? I will be like the most high; I will determine what's right and wrong for my life; wow; now I want you to notice where he said that; Sister Judy, did he not tell Eve the same thing? You will be like the most high; from the very beginning; amen. 118 Listen to me carefully; you are still Antichrist when thy will is I will; the difference in the Antichrist and the Christ: one is our will, the other is thy will; thy will; that's right; amen; this is now what we're doing right now, we're revealing the Antichrist in you; that's right; amen; hallelujah; thank you Pastor; he said to Eve, if you eat this you'll be like the most high. 119 Then Adam sinned because he willfully sinned; the spirit of Adam, the man of sin, is within everyone in this room tonight; and this is why Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 2 and 3 through 4; go back there; I'm going to show you now why Paul said what he said; and then we're going to close out with me going through this chapter explaining it verse by verse. 120 2 Thessalonians 2 and 3-4; let no one deceive you; for that day shall not come; all right; I'm going to pause there; now here's what I want to do; go to the top my brother; now I'm fixing to explain the whole chapter and it's going to all make sense and we'll go home. 121 Context starts right here; now supposedly this chapter is about an Antichrist that's going to make a deal with the Jewish people, go sit in a Jewish temple and then break the deal; okay, here's a problem with that; Paul ain't even writing to the Jews; I beseech you brethren; he's writing here to the lost tribes of Israel at the church at Thessalonica, which was a gentile church; he ain't talking about no Jewish temple, no Jews; he's writing to them. 122 And what is his subject? The coming of Yesua; now in this context he's talking about the physical coming and when we will be gathered together in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; so keep that in mind as we get through the chapter; what's your context? The coming of the Lord; okay. 123 Verse two: don't be shaken in your mind or troubled by spirit or word or even if you got a letter from us that says the day of Christ is at hand; this is your context, Saints; I'm going to let y'all go home to understand that verse; I said that you cannot understand, you got to understand it has nothing to do with the Antichrist, it has everything to do with the coming of Christ; he said don't let anybody convince you that the coming of the Lord is close. 124 Well, I don't know how I'd build a church back then, if you wasn't scaring people about the coming of the Lord you better come now; he said, hey, he ain't about to come; yeah; amen; don't let nobody deceive you into thinking he's about to come. 125 Verse three: let no man deceive you for that day, the seventh day, shall not come except there comes a falling away first; now watch this carefully; all of my Christian life I was told that what this meant is right before that day there would be a falling away; no, no, no; God spoke to me; he said you're not in the falling away; that already happened; you're in the regathering; you're in the coming back. 126 We've all been looking for this falling away and the whole church thinks it's happening right now, it's about to happen; no no no no no no no no no no no; Paul said the minute I'm gone they'll start falling away; watch this; now, the minute I'm gone the falling away will happen; so he said Christ cannot come until there first comes a falling away. 127 But I'm fixing to tell you, by the end of this chapter, one more; this is the part we didn't know about; one more thing has to happen before the coming of Christ and it's not the falling away, it's the getting them all back; I'm about to show it to you; so after Paul dies is when this began; okay; he said when I leave there'll be grievous wolves come among you and pull you away from the message I preached. 128 But notice what he said: and that man of sin will be revealed, not at the end, but right after I'm gone; the Antichrist will be revealed; hallelujah; the Antichrist will come into the church after I leave cuz I'm the only thing keeping him out cuz I won't back down on the message; he said I'm keeping him out of here but he said as soon as I'm gone they're going to start falling away. 129 And why are they going to fall away? Because of the man of, now take that word sin out, the man of lawlessness; they're going to take my words, Paul, Peter said, and men going to start falling away; Marcion; it's going to start with Simon the Magician, Marcion; they're going to start a falling away that's going to create the Catholic Church; they did; they going to quit baptizing in the name of Yesua and go to baptizing in a trinity. 130 The falling away is not going to happen; God spoke to me today; the falling away is over; the church fell away for 2,000 years from the truth; woo; we're not in the falling away, we're in the regathering in; because we all fell away; we thought we were Gentiles; we all fell away into lawlessness; we all fell away into Christianity; but now in these days the shofar is sounding, the trump of God is calling us back. 131 But watch your chart on the wall, watch your prophecy line; if we can put the falling away down here then we'll never know we already fell away; if the falling away is yet to come guess what that means? We've never fallen; we must be walking in the truth then; we would miss the regathering; that's right. 132 Hallelujah; if you don't know you've already fallen you can't get back up; do you understand? You got to know that you fell already; the whole church has fell; Satan has deceived the whole world; but there will be a light in the evening time; hallelujah; the Bible said at evening time there will be light; and that light will destroy the Antichrist. 133 Hallelujah; hey; and that's why when you go to tell someone about the Sabbath day here's what they'll tell you: you trying to tell me all them years we've been wrong? Cuz they don't know they already fell; hallelujah; they waiting on the falling away; wow; if Satan gets you waiting you won't be anticipating. 134 I want you to understand something; the falling away happened with the creation of the Catholic Church 300 years after Christ died; that's when the falling away happened; that's right, that's right; because the lawless man, because in that church would sneak in a secret of lawlessness; amen; yeah; Satan would transform himself to an angel of light, go in the church and say now you want the Holy Ghost, good, go ahead, just speak in tongues, that's good, you got it. 135 Now look, you ready to go? Uhhuh; you believe in the Lord Jesus? Oh yes I do; come on darling; you see; now; and so whenever you come to bring them this message, amen, of a coming kingdom, because the church has fallen for so long, you sound like the liar; wow; wow; what's it called? The Stockholm syndrome, where when you get with your kidnappers you actually fall in love with your kidnappers. 136 Patty, what's her name? Went and robbed the bank; Patty Hearst; all them years ago; she wasn't a robber; the people that kidnapped her was; but she became just like them; why? You get into a position in your mind where you're fallen and you don't know you're fallen; you understand? You're waiting for the fall while you've already fallen. 137 The whole church has fell; sir; I said the whole church, the whole church has so fallen, yes sir, away from the ancient landmarks that when you try to show them the ancient landmark, you are in bondage, sir, you're in legalism; that's right; you know why you're in legalism? Because they was taught illegalism; yes sir; what was the meaning of that word? Anomia; one of the meanings was illegal. 138 Read verse four; the sin, the man of sin's going to come and cause a falling away; and here's how you'll know the church has fallen away: they will oppose the word; opposers; they'll be opposers; the Antichrist spirit in you is a goat spirit; it's an opposer; it opposes the pastor, it opposes the members, it opposes the teaching; opposition, opposition, all the time. 139 And exalts itself against that which is called Elohim or that which is worshiped so that he as God will sit in the temple showing himself that he is God; now he said Paul said this will happen right after I leave; and we've been reading this all our lives waiting for this to happen; pastor we one day, he's going to exalt himself against God in that temple over yonder; when Paul died the temple became swept and clean and ready for a pope; ready for Marcion to bring in this secret of lawlessness. 140 The mystery of iniquity does already work; the secret lawlessness that's wrapped up in the word grace; it's a secret because you can't see; they're not telling you it's lawlessness, they're telling you there's a law of love; eat my grits; next screen. 141 Remember you not that when I was with you I told you these things? I told you these things; now I'm fixing to show you; watch this; and he said now you know, hang tight; now you know why there's a withholding that he might be revealed in his time; hold tight, hold tight; that word withholdeth, there is leth, it's also the word for restrain; okay; remember Paul is not talking about the Antichrist; Paul starts this chapter talking about the return of Christ. 142 And y'all may not know about this little verse; turn there for me Elder and read it; Acts 3:21; now remember what the word withholdeth means; receive, hold back; I'm going to show you who Paul's talking about and it ain't the Antichrist; God showed me this today; no man's ever showed this to me; amen; Acts 3:21 says whom the heavens must hold back; who the heavens must receive or hold back or leth. 143 Amen; until the times of restitution of all things; now what has to be restored before the heavens will quit holding Yesua back? The temple of God; hallelujah; God spoke it by the mouth of his prophets; hang tight; watch this; now don't lose me; this says that Yesua is being let or held in heaven and he couldn't come back if he wanted to; that's right; because somebody is sitting on his throne in his church. 144 He can't come back; wow; hallelujah; hallelujah; the restitution has to happen first; this is his church but the secret of lawlessness has desecrated his church and he's being held back until the Maccabees come again and get that impostor off the throne of the church of God. 145 What does that have to do with second Thessalonians? Let's go back now and find; keep that scripture in mind; the heavens is holding Yesua back; same word; now go back to second Thessalonians where we just were; watch this; and now you know why, or what is holding back; he that will be revealed in his time. 146 Now this is a future time; hold on; the Antichrist is present, he said it's already working; this says that because I warned you of the man of sin in the church, now you know why Yesua is being held back until it's the time for him to come; hallelujah; I'm glad you got it; hallelujah; we're not holding the devil back; the heavens is holding Yesua back until you expose the Antichrist with the voice of Elijah and expel him from the house of Israel. 147 Boy, when God opened this for me today I said oh my God, we preached it wrong the whole time; this ain't got nothing to do; look, look, look; somebody say now you know; now you know why; because go back to verse one; watch; you now know why the coming of the Lord; that's right; and the gathering together unto him; go to the next verse; you know why that the day of Christ is not at hand; because we got to raise up the voice of Elijah; the heavens are going to hold him back until Elijah comes on the scene and everyone exposes the secret of lawlessness in his church. 148 Hallelujah; he said don't be shaken in your mind or troubled; let's say now; now follow what I just read; come on; don't be shaking in your mind because now you know why he's not coming back; now you know; because the man of sin has got to be revealed first; yes sir, yes sir; amen. 149 Now the question is why would Christ want the man of sin to be revealed? That's a good part; now you know why he is being held back that he might be revealed in his time; not your time; verse seven; scroll up; now you know why because the mystery of iniquity is already in the church, it already works; only he who is now withholding, the word leth, withholding; only Christ that is withholding will restrain his own self until this man of sin is taken out of his church and exposed for who he is. 150 Hallelujah; this church can't have two husbands; this church can't have two Gods; hallelujah; this church can't have two kings; hallelujah; he said get rid of the impostor and I'll come; hallelujah; get rid of the impostor and I'll come; how do we get rid of him? Oh, you just expose him; oh hallelujah; let him be revealed; hallelujah. 151 Expose that secret of lawlessness in the church and God said when you begin to restore all things, when you begin to clean my church up and find me a people that don't, they're not deceived by the lie of the law, when you do that, I'm, I'm letting myself, I'm withholding myself, I'm restraining myself until he, the man of sin, is taken out of my way; wow; really blessed. 152 Until sun worship is replaced with the Sabbath day; until my people know my name; until my people are walking in the pathway of lawfulness, holiness; then I'll quit withholding myself; hallelujah; wow; he that now leth; do y'all know how many people have no idea what that; y'all don't understand First Harvest, what's happening; for the first time in my life I've never heard anybody that understood this verse except that it was the rapture of the church; oh no, it's not the rapture of the church, it's the return of Christ. 153 And he that now leth will keep letting; Brother V, how do we take him out of the way? Verse eight; just reveal him; expose the secret of lawlessness; and when you do I will consume him out of my church; but I can't do it alone; how will he do it? How is he going to? Come on now; I know you're tired; I don't care; listen; come on now; listen to what he said right there. 154 He said when you expose it; here's how you'll expose it; by the spirit of the word; he said if you'll let me touch your lips with coals of fire and open your mouth, lift your voice like a trumpet, cry aloud, spare not, tell my people of their sins; if you will do that I will destroy the wicked one from within the house of Israel; hallelujah. 155 And the brightness of my coming; and here's how he's going to be in the church; scroll up; he's going to have signs; talking about the man of sin; can I show you who the man of sin is?
