Title: Why we begin our omer count on the 8th day after resurrection rather than the 1st day after Summary: This teaching examines the timing of the Omer count and the observance of Shavuot. Using Leviticus 23 and a series of biblical examples involving circumcision, sanctification, temple cleansing, and resurrection patterns, Vaughn argues that Yahweh consistently works through an eighth-day principle of acceptance and purification. The message concludes that the Omer count should begin after the completion of Unleavened Bread on the eighth day following Messiah's resurrection, resulting in a later observance of Shavuot than is commonly practiced. t should begin after the completion of Unleavened Bread on the eighth day following Messiah's resurrection, resulting in a later observance of Shavuot than is commonly practiced. hello and greetings in the lovely name above every other name I'm Shane Von with first Harvest Ministries and I'm so thrilled tonight to be able to come into your homes wherever we might be around the world and bring to you the truth of this generation I want to talk to you today about a subject that um I believe will help you to understand things maybe from a different perspective than you've understood them before that's my Hope anyway now I've always said this uh no man has all truth we are all striving to enter in to the Straight Gate but I have found over my life a a pattern of progressive revelation the more you know and learn the more he reveals the Bible said he that hungers and thirst after after God shall be filled there are many people that have no hunger to know greater truth greater understanding and therefore they do not receive it but there are those perhaps like you that want to know more we want to get it right we want to understand to those people he will open up the mysteries of heaven do not receive it but there are those perhaps like you that want to know more we want to get it right we want to understand to those people he will open up the mysteries of heaven and one of those Mysteries that we want to talk about today is something known as the counting of the Omar now maybe you're watching me and you're not familiar with the Hebrew roots of the faith and that word just sounded like Greek to you well actually it's Hebrew but uh it's it's really a beautiful uh Commandment that Yahweh gave to his people that they were to do something called counting the Omar spelled o m r now the reason I'm making this video today is because there are many groups subcultures in our movement that keeps the the day of Pentecost or the last day of the Feast of first fruits at various times now many people celebrated the last day of first fruits I'm making this video on uh April the 28th today is Monday Memorial Day and many of my colleagues and friends said celebrated the day of Pentecost or the shabot or the last day of the feast yesterday Sunday rightfully so it'll be on a Sunday every year and I'll explain why in a moment and many of them celebrated yesterday we at first Harvest the last day of the feast yesterday Sunday rightfully so it'll be on a Sunday every year and I'll explain why in a moment and many of them celebrated yesterday we at first Harvest Ministries did not celebrate yesterday and I want to explain why but before I do a vast majority of the church at lark actually celebrated this holy day two weeks ago not yesterday but two weeks and that happens to be Christianity at large the one that's been created by Roman Catholicism and there's a reason they had to celebrate it two weeks ago I won't get into that tonight in this lesson but suffice it to say first Harvest Ministries and many others including Torah to the tribes and so forth and so on will actually celebrate the last day of first fruit shabot the day of Pentecost this coming Sunday June the 3 and I have probably received over 50 inboxes uh emails from my friends and colleagues saying what in the world why are y'all celebrating it next week rather than yesterday as all of the great Bible teachers and the Hebrew Roots Faith teaches that yesterday day was shabow um we don't claim to know any more than anybody else but in this video I will explain to you why we believe it all right here rew Roots Faith teaches that yesterday day was shabow um we don't claim to know any more than anybody else but in this video I will explain to you why we believe it all right here we go first of all we believe that Yahweh is a god of patterns and Rhythm he is a God that never changes and the Old Testament or the Tanakh in Hebrew is the school master from which we learn the patterns of Yahweh and his perfect timing and his perfect plan so it is my goal tonight I'm going to bring you back to the Old Testament then bring you through the New Testament and I believe I'm going to show you emphatic proof of why this coming Sunday is the correct day for the ending of shabow WOTE or the Feast of first fruit now let's just go to Bibles real quickly to Leviticus 23:1 15 now if you read Leviticus 23 this whole chapter as you can see on the screen if you read this whole chapter and start at verse one you're going to find that this whole chapter is about the seven annual feast days and it starts of course with Passover then it goes to unleavened bread but there's something I want you to notice very carefully in these verses notice right there in verse number five the 14th day of the month is ver then it goes to unleavened bread but there's something I want you to notice very carefully in these verses notice right there in verse number five the 14th day of the month is yahweh's Passover and then as you go down you will find we start another Feast shortly thereafter and this Feast is known as the Feast of unleavened bread once in Leviticus 23:7 notice right here where the mouse is moving after this Feast of unleavened bread has ended is it's over with write that down in your notes unleavened bread must end there cannot be an overlapping of the feast Passover is a total separate Feast from unleavened bread even though it starts the next day these are two separate individual celebrations the same thing is going to apply when we come to the Feast of first fruit or shabow oat it is a feast that follows it does not intermingle it follows uh perspectively it follows the Feast of unleavened bread but if yesterday was the end of first fruit then you have mixed together unleavened bread with first fruit and I'll show you let's go to verse number seven and read it in the first day you shall have a holy convocation and do no work therein but you shall offer an offering made by ruit and I'll show you let's go to verse number seven and read it in the first day you shall have a holy convocation and do no work therein but you shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yahweh seven days the Feast of unleavened bread is a separate Feast for seven days and the seventh day is a holy convocation and you shall do no servile work therein now that word servile simply means servitude or employment now verse number nine and Yahweh spoke to Moses say speak to the children of Israel and say unto them now this is a total separate Feast that follows in consecutive order no overlapping here this is a separate one you shall reap the Harvest thereof and you shall wave the sheath verse 11 before Yahweh to be accepted for you I want you to notice that word the first fruit the sheath of the first fruit must be accepted by Yahweh it must meet a certain criteria and a certain guideline to be accepted by Yahweh and what is the only thing that Yahweh accepts something clean he never accepts anything unclean and he created a law and I'll read that to you tomor and from these laws we must follow those patterns into the New Testament there is no changing of gods in the New Testament ean and he created a law and I'll read that to you tomor and from these laws we must follow those patterns into the New Testament there is no changing of gods in the New Testament no changing of gods only changing of guards notice now in verse number 20 uh verse 12 um uh verse 11 that that this offering must be accepted on the day after the weekly Shabbat the the priest shall wave it so we know from this that this must happen on a Sunday because Sunday is the first day of the week and Sunday is the only day that this sacrifice or this sheath of first fruit can be accepted so keep in mind three facts we've come to already the Feast of first fruit cannot overlap the Feast of UNL bread write that down got it okay number two this offering must be accepted and the only offering that Yahweh accepts is a clean offering write that down pause the video write it in your notes number three very very very important very important it must happen on a Sunday the first day of the week which is in essence The Eighth Day we're going to talk about this more in a moment okay so let's stop right there three facts that we have established now I want to go to a calendar and I want to show you where all we're going to talk about this more in a moment okay so let's stop right there three facts that we have established now I want to go to a calendar and I want to show you where all of the Hebrew roots from Michael rudde to um I'm not going to name them all but uh to well anyway all of these Brethren celebrated yesterday let's look at the calendar look real closely at my calendar here and I wish I had a way to zoom in if I could figure out how to do this I would but anyway I want you to look at this calendar now these dates right here look at my cursor okay right here is the fourth day of the week the 15th this is the day that yua uh is crucified okay now follow with me carefully most Hebrew Roots people come over here follow the mouse to where Yeshua is resurrected on the end of this sabbath day he did not rise on a Sunday morning he rose at the end after he rested on the Sabbath he rose at the end Just Before Sunset now most Hebrew Roots people right here the next day on the night follow my cursor right here is when they begin counting the Omar and that's why they are a week ahead of us at first Harvest Ministries most are counting from the tomorrow after the Sabbath follow that here is when they begin counting the Omar and that's why they are a week ahead of us at first Harvest Ministries most are counting from the tomorrow after the Sabbath follow that cursor and they are right it is supposed to be the tomorrow after the Sabbath but look carefully at my cursor there's a problem here the Feast of unleavened bread is still going on and you cannot overlap the Feast of Yahweh they are all separate now notice here stay with me please I beg you not to prejudge this follow it to the end and then you can make a decision all right so you you got the Feast of unleavened bread still going on the tomorrow after the Sabbath because yua was resurrected during the feast of unleavened bread so if you start counting Omar the next day as all of you have done you're in the Feast of unleavened bread you do not have a separate Feast the Feast of first fruit is a seven week feast and it does not overlap unleavened bread so let's go and look at where we start the counting of the om AR follow my cursor we go all the way over here to the next Sabbath which is the Sabbath following unleavened bread and we start counting the Omar on this day which is the Eighth Day the eighth ursor we go all the way over here to the next Sabbath which is the Sabbath following unleavened bread and we start counting the Omar on this day which is the Eighth Day the eighth day after the resurrection now why the Eighth Day why do we start counting the eth day I promise to prove it to you from the scriptures but before I do it there's a couple of points I want to make to you remember Yahweh is a god of pattern and Rhythm the way he did it before is the way he will do it again he changes not the eighth day is very special to Yahweh first of all in biblical numerology the number eight is the number of the new creation the new beginning look at the number itself it is an eternal number it has no beginning it has no end I can show you where a one starts I can show you where a two starts I can show you where a three starts I cannot show you where an eight begins or ends turn that eight on its side and you have the infinity or the Eternal number eight represents Spirit Eternal beyond the constraints of the seven days of time eight is special in the economy and the Strategic Paradigm of Yahweh now remember the eighth day is the number of sanctification or cleanliness remember what he seven days of time eight is special in the economy and the Strategic Paradigm of Yahweh now remember the eighth day is the number of sanctification or cleanliness remember what we said earlier the offering must be accepted by Yahweh and the only offering he accepts is a clean offering let's go to Leviticus 12 2 and 3 all the children were according to the law law in the uncleanness of their birth until the eighth day then they received circumcision and then forward were recognized as what read it look at the screen they were recognized or accepted as holy having the Seal of the Covenant our purification of God up on them God only accepts a clean offering on the eighth day let's go to Leviticus 22 and 27 the young beast in like manner were ceremonially unclean before the Eighth Day remember God never changes these laws are the par they are the prototype by which all other things come from in the word of God if you get outside of them you'll mess your doctrines up notice they were they were therefore unfit to be offered as a sacrifice oh you're going to your eyes are going to open up in a minute they were unit to be offered as a sacrifice until the Eighth Day Yahweh never changes it to be offered as a sacrifice oh you're going to your eyes are going to open up in a minute they were unit to be offered as a sacrifice until the Eighth Day Yahweh never changes this is his rhythm this is his pattern but on the eighth day and then forward that unfitness ceases what was Unholy is Holy they were count Ed clean again Yahweh only accepts a clean offering and the sheath of first fruit has to be accepted you can't just wave it it's got to be accepted by Yahweh go to Leviticus 14 8-10 P person's unclean through leprosy or through any uh issue or a Nazarite in case of accidental defilement by the Dead all had to abide seven days in uncleanness they dead the dead if you've touched the Dead the grave you are unclean for seven days yua was in the grave with the dead and therefore this law kicks in there must be a 7day waiting period before he can be accepted by Yahweh and I'm going to show you this in the New Testament your eyes are really going to light up now ver uh Point number four so here the Tabernacle the altar all the vessels of the ministry together with the priest who is Yeshua high priest the priest were seven days in the process of purification and on the re the Tabernacle the altar all the vessels of the ministry together with the priest who is Yeshua high priest the priest were seven days in the process of purification and on the Eighth Day the purity of all the priest became established now here comes the high priest he cannot abide by any other law than the law that Yahweh gave to Moses in the Torah see the priest wait for seven days anything that's touched the Dead the grave waits for seven days God's perfect number of completeness all right now what I want to show you is a few more instances about the seventh day that I think you will find interesting now remember eight represent presents the Eternal day what is that it's the day of no more flesh in the eighth day after the Millennium Reign remember during the Millennium Reign flesh will be on the earth uh there will be Mortals still on the earth with the Elohim government ruling and reigning over them and training them in the ways of Yahweh but there will still be death on Earth they will still die and they will still be children born during the Millennium but after the seventh day when The Last Enemy death has been placed under the feet of yua and then yua will turn and die and they will still be children born during the Millennium but after the seventh day when The Last Enemy death has been placed under the feet of yua and then yua will turn and hand the restored Planet back to the father that's in your Bible go read it when that happens we enter Then into the Eighth Day the Eternal day no more flesh every person alive in during the Eighth Day or in eternity will have a Spirit body not a flesh body but a spirit body All Flesh will be done away with at the end of the seventh day let's go read Genesis 17 and verse 12 we're going to read real quick because I'm almost to the point where I believe you might understand where we're coming from Genesis 17 and verse2 and he that is eight days old shall be what circumcised or in other words the flesh cut off what happens during eternity the flesh is cut off every Manchild in your Generations he that is born in the house or born with money of a stranger which is not of thy seed verse 13 He that is born in thine house and he that is bought with thy money must be circumcised bottom line we got to get rid of the flesh Factor so this is a law established in the beginning it will never change the Eighth Day the s bought with thy money must be circumcised bottom line we got to get rid of the flesh Factor so this is a law established in the beginning it will never change the Eighth Day the number of Eternity the number of a New Covenant the number of new beginnings the the the number of the change of everything amen now let's go to 2 Chronicles 29:17 we're going to follow this pattern all the way through the book God never changes his pattern you keep that in mind when you're studying the scriptures Yahweh never changes the p pattern ever ever ever 2 Chronicles 29:17 now this is the dedication of yahweh's Holy Temple which yua was his most holy Temple let's read 29:17 now they began on the first day of the month to sanctify and on the eighth day of the month The Eighth Day they came to the porch of the Lord so they Sanctified the house of Yahweh in eight days the temple who did yua say he was destroyed this Temple and in three days I will re he was the Temple of the almighty Yahweh and yet the pattern Starts Here 8 days for the priest to be holy and for the temple to be cleaned from defilement from the dead let's go to Luke chap 2 verse 21 Luke 2 verse 21 share this video with a friend ere 8 days for the priest to be holy and for the temple to be cleaned from defilement from the dead let's go to Luke chap 2 verse 21 Luke 2 verse 21 share this video with a friend somebody that might be interested and then point out where you think we're wrong we'll be more than happy to consider your uh propaganda all right Luke 2 verse 21 and and when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child his name was called y Yeshua you don't get your name until you're Sanctified and remember after the resurrection Yeshua gets a new name yeah remember the new name he gets a new Authority remember he said after the resurrection now all authority and Heaven and Earth has been given unto me the name denotes your your position so it was in his when he was born the first time it took him eight days to be Sanctified and when he was born the second time through the tomb we're going to find out the same thing applies now let's go to Luke chapter 9 verse 28 is the light coming on for you yet wait it's fixing to when we get to the next two verses I love the word of Yahweh uh Luke 9:28 and it came to pass now before I read verse 28 in verse 27 yua tells that he's about to show the ixing to when we get to the next two verses I love the word of Yahweh uh Luke 9:28 and it came to pass now before I read verse 28 in verse 27 yua tells that he's about to show the kingdom to some of those disciples that were standing there with him and we find that eight days later he shows them the kingdom there's something special about this eight he said but I tell you the truth verse 27 there's some standing here which shall not taste of death until they see the kingdom of Yahweh verse 28 and it came to pass about 8 days after saying these things that he took Peter James and John and went to the mountain and showed them the kingdom of God that was coming when did he do it on the 8th day now now brothers and sisters I want to show you the scripture that convinced me beyond the shadow of a doubt that we be we're counting Omar from the wrong day we're counting it during the Feast of unliving bread you can't do that but what is the missing piece I believe the next verse is going to show us the missing peace now let's go to John 20: 26 remember when Yeshua came up from the grave he told the ladies don't touch me let's read that that's I tell you what let's go to verse let's go to eace now let's go to John 20: 26 remember when Yeshua came up from the grave he told the ladies don't touch me let's read that that's I tell you what let's go to verse let's go to verse 17 John 20 verse 17 Jesus or Yeshua said unto her do not touch me for I have not yet been presented to my father now that's interesting we know that he was resurrected the evening before he met her what's he doing is he just walking around kicking up dust why didn't he just go on to the father why is he still walking around in the garden looking like a gardener oh he knew it was time yet he understood the law he understood that he was the priest and he had been touched by death and he must go through seven days of purification so he's dressed up like a gardener let's read he said don't touch me I have not yet been presented to the father so I want to ask you Brethren that's watching me where do you get your scriptural evidence that the counting of the Omar has to start the day after Resurrection because I'm showing here the day after his resurrection which was on a Sunday he's still on the earth telling this woman I have not yet been waved before the father my question is why not what's he waiting he day after his resurrection which was on a Sunday he's still on the earth telling this woman I have not yet been waved before the father my question is why not what's he waiting on he's waiting on time he's always waiting on the perfect order of his father um and he said but I but go to my brethren and say unto them I send my father and your father to my God and to your God now please hold on one moment he tells the lady don't touch me why he is defiled remember you were not allowed to touch anyone that was what unclean oh it's so simple a child can understand this but this is going to be the nail in the coffin of what I believe has been a misunderstanding of the counting of the Omar go with me now to verse 26 as we end this lesson verse 26 remember he's got to be presented to the father and remember he's still flesh whenever he tells Mary don't touch me but something very miraculous happens just a few days later he mysteriously appears out of nowhere to his disciples comes right through the walls doesn't even knock on the door comes right through in his Spirit body the spirit body that when the flesh has been cut away he's been circumcised he's been accepted and I wonder what sn't even knock on the door comes right through in his Spirit body the spirit body that when the flesh has been cut away he's been circumcised he's been accepted and I wonder what day this happened on read verse 26 and after eight days again his disciples were within a house they were in a room and Thomas with them then came yua the doors were shut nobody knows how he got in and stood in the midst and said Peace be unto you and then he reached his hand out and said touch me I'm clean I've been accepted by my father and on what day was he accepted on the Eighth Day following perfectly the patterns of Yahweh that is why we begin counting the Omar the Sunday not after the resurrection but the next Sunday on the eighth day when he appeared to his disciples we have scriptural proof that it was on the eighth day that he came down from the father accepted and presented the high priest presented himself to the father on the day of circumcision after he was born again from the tomb the tomb was his birthing he comes forth he's defiled and then now on the eighth day he will be accepted by Yahweh thus fulfilling the Torah EX exactly I pray that this helps you to understand why we count the omes forth he's defiled and then now on the eighth day he will be accepted by Yahweh thus fulfilling the Torah EX exactly I pray that this helps you to understand why we count the Omar from the eighth day after Resurrection rather than during the Feast of unleavened bread the next day if you have any questions or comments feel free to email me my email address is brother Von Yahoo do I'm sorry at gmail. com our website is fir Harvest church.org share this with a friend we want to get this truth out out and pray that we can all come together and see the beauty of this message that we have presented May Yahweh bless you and keep you is my prayer good night and shalom

Summary

This teaching examines the timing of the Omer count and the observance of Shavuot.
