Part 3 - The Magician & The Messiah 12/19/25 - ZOOM BIBLE STUDY * 00:00 Well, we're going to get right into tonight's lesson this evening. I probably won't keep you long tonight. I didn't have a long time to study, about 15 minutes total. And uh so we'll do the best. We can here tonight. Amen. Praise the Lord. Last week we left off and we started tracing the two lines of the magician. We first started tracing the line of the Messiah and we traced that through John the Baptist and Yeshua, John the Apostle. And then Polycarp was the natural successor of John the Beloved, the Apostle. And uh now we're going to come back next week and we'll flip back over to the Polycarp line and trace it. But tonight, we're going to finish up what we started last week of tracing the line of the magician. I want you to remember this. There is always the twin spirits in the work of God. Always. There is always Cain and Abel, Ishmamail and Isaac, Christ and Antichrist. There is always that dual uh dichotomy. That's work. Anytime you do a work for God. For Yahweh, you're going to always have the make believe, the copy. People that want to sit among you, but they just can't sit like you. They will come in and they will sit among the brethren because those twin spirits are to be expected. They grow up together. But one of the greatest misunderstandings we all had, me included growing up in the Christian church, we were always taught that the great falling away would happen at the end time and then there would be an antichrist. And boy was we wrong because the great falling away happened literally during the time of the Apostle Paul and so did the antichrist. And so when I hear people talking about the great falling away, they're 2,000 years late. What we're in now is the restoration. We're not in the great falling away. The great falling away is over. We are in the time of the voice of Elijah to restore everything that fell away and everything that was broken. You and I are living in that hour. Now last night we or last week. Rather we started tracing some of the doctrines that you all believed in. At one time we talked about the trinity doctrine, how it came from Simon the magician or the sorcerer. What we're doing is we're following the flow of where the two churches came from. Remember, if there is a true church, there is a false church. And the hardest thing for you to do is to know the difference because they will worship the same. They will speak in tongues the same. They will heal the sick the same. They will do all of that the same. The tears and the wheat are identical twins. You need to remember that. Saints. The twins are the tear and the wheat, the Christ and the Antichrist. And in this hour, the only way that you can find the true people of Yahweh is listen to what's coming out of here. Just listen is all you got to do. They will tell on themselves. Now the first doctrine that we traced was the trinitarian doctrine that started with Simon. The next doctrine that I want to focus on that started with Simon. Remember according to church historians Simon was the father of all heresies. Now, does that not sound like the Antichrist to you, the father of all heresy? And this is why we need to follow this next doctrine ever so closely because what I'm fixing to show you, many of you have been guilty of, maybe even yet still. It all started with Marcion. * 05:38 I'm going to pull up a picture that will help you. I think it will help you. I thought I downloaded it. Here we go again. Amen. Well, then let me go pull it back up and then I'll get it for you. I'm sorry. I was in a little bit of hurry tonight trying to pull this all together in 15 minutes. Let's see. There we go. I found it. Come on, devil. You can't hide. All right. I call this next doctrine the Benny Hen doctrine. And I don't mean any harm when I say that. It's not personal. I don't have anything against brother Benny Hen. But this is a doctrine. He made very famous. He wrote a book. I'll see if any of you remember that book called Good Morning Holy Spirit. Anybody remember that book? Good morning, Holy Spirit. In the last 100 years, maybe there's been a great emphasis on the Holy Spirit. Um, and there's been a great emphasis on Yesua, Jesus, in the Christian church. How many can identify with and it resonate with you what I'm saying now in the church you came out of. There was a great affinity for the Holy Spirit and Jesus but not so much Yahweh. Can I see your hand? Okay. >> Amen. Yes. >>. That all comes from Simon. That all comes from Simon. Every bit of what I call Holy Spirit worship. Now, let me be clear. We believe in the Holy Spirit, but we understand. It is the emanating force of Yahweh. So, we do not separate them. They are one and the same. We don't make it a third person as the trinitarians do. Now, let me show you a doctrine that Simon taught in the early days of the great falling away. He began to emphasize the Holy Spirit. He traveled with a woman and there she is. He traveled with this woman. Her name was Helena. Simon went around with a woman named Helena. She was a hired prostitute from the city of Ty. He said that this woman Helena was the wisdom of God or the first thought that issued from God. The mother of all. Uhoh. Uhoh. The mother of all. Where do you think Mary worshiped began? Who is the mother of God? The mother of all. Whom in the beginning he had conceived in his mind. Here's what he just said. In the beginning, God conceived wisdom in his mind. And that wisdom created the angels. Now, I'm showing you that picture because the Bible talks about wisdom as being a woman, even though we know she's not. But it also says that wisdom was there in the beginning with God and that through wisdom everything was created, the angels. Now Simon is bringing a very feminine touch to the church. He is promoting the mother of all which is where Mary the mother of God comes from from this simmonian influence. And now the hushing, if you will, that the Holy Spirit is the good God. All right. Now, I know many denominations that preach that the Holy Spirit is the feminine side of God. That all comes from Simon. And there is a reason why Simon preached that. All right. So we need to understand. Simon said, oh that's what that must be where we get that game from. Simon says anyway. Simon said that Helena was the first thought of God. That's wisdom. You see? You see what he's doing there? The Holy Spirit is the wisdom and it's a feminine essence. And so that is where that began. Now Simon was a gnostic. The greatest battle that the apostles were fighting against in their day, write these two words down so you can be wary of them. Gnosticism. G N O S T I C I S M. You need to learn whatnosticism is because it's still alive in our church world today. And dosatism.nosticism and dosatism. Those were two of the main teachings of Simon. Let me show you the main teachings of Simon. He taught that there were two gods, a supreme God and then an inferior God. In Simon's teaching, the superior God was the Holy Spirit, whereas the inferior God was Yahweh. And you're going to find out where this great push for the Holy Spirit comes from. The next thing he taught was that matter is evil. The material world is evil. You know, at First Harvest Ministries, we teach you that the material world is what we're going to rule and reign and that it was created perfect by Yahweh and beautiful and he's coming back to live here. Well, Simon didn't believe that. Now, let me ask you something, beloved friend. If you believe the earth is evil and the world is evil, then you might want to start preaching a doctrine about leaving this world and going to a place called heaven. >> Come on, Apostle. >> I'm trying to show you where it all started, brothers and sisters. So, I mean, we sing that in our songs. This world is not my home. I'm just a passing through. My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue. The angels beckon me from heaven's open door. And I don't feel at home in this world anymore. * 13:47 You know why? Because the world's evil. Uh flesh is evil. People are evil. Everything's evil. He was uh. Uh. He he believed deeply that nothing made of flesh was good even though Yahweh said it was good. The next thing he taught was dosatism. That was that Jesus Christ was not really a man. He just appeared as human, but he wasn't really flesh. He was more like God in the flesh. He was really a God. He wasn't a human. He didn't believe that Yesua was a real human being. Now, you might say, "Well, that I've never heard that before.". Yes, you have. You heard it your whole life that Jesus Christ was more than a man. Come on now. HE WASN'T REALLY. YEAH, HE WAS. BUT HE WASN'T REALLY a man. He was more than that. Well, that all come from Simon. And the Apostle Paul and the Apostle John had to fight that spirit. That's why John said any let's matter of fact. Let's look up that scripture and I'll show you where John called Simon the magician the antichrist. First John 1 John 4 and 1 through3. He is talking about Marcion. I'm sorry Simon in these verses because Simon was in ministry from 30 AD to 64 AD. So his ministry is active when John is writing these verses. John 4 and 1. Through3. Elder Morgan. >> Amen. >> Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of Yahweh, because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the spirit of Yahweh. Every spirit that confesses, >> here's how you can know that you're hearing the real man of God, the real spirit. Here's how you'll know it. Read. >> Every spirit that confesseth that Yesua Christ is come in the flesh or as a man is of God. Everyone that preaches that Yesua, that word come in means be began in every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ began in the flesh. Began in the flesh or arose from the flesh. The Greek word is okamahi which means to begin to arise. Anyone that teaches that Yeshua did not begin in flesh is not the spirit of God. >> Amen. Apostle, >> if they teach you that he pre-existed and he began in eternity past, believe not every spirit. If they tell you HE WASN'T REALLY FLESH, he was more than that, believe not every spirit, who was he talking about? There was one man preaching that in his day and his disciples. It was Simon the magician. And what does it say in the next verse? And every spirit that confesseth not that Yeshua is come in the flesh is not of Yahweh. And this is the spirit of Antichrist. >> Who is Simon? >> The Antichrist. >> He's the Antichrist. All these people looking for the Antichrist. Simon was the Antichrist. And if he's preaching in your pull pit today, he's still the Antichrist. If you want to know the Antichrist spirit, it's a spirit that turns the man Yesua into anything other than beginning in the flesh. >> Amen. >>. That's good. >> Amen. That's called do That's called dosetism. And the apostles were fighting that dosetism. >> They were determined to make Jesus so much more than just a boy that began in the flesh. THERE'S NO WAY. THE FLESH IS EVIL. WE'RE GETTING OUT OF HERE. ANYTHING THAT'S SO, here's the thing. If Yesua was flesh according to Simon, then that means Yeshua was also what? Evil. SO THEREFORE, YESUA CAN'T BE FLESH. BECAUSE YOU AND I HAVE BEEN TAUGHT THAT OUR FLESH IS BAD. It ain't your flesh that's bad. It's your mind. That's bad. Baby, >> it's deceitfully wicked. Deceitfully wicked. Brothers and sisters, YOUR FLESH IS NOT EVIL. Your thoughts are. YOUR FLESH IS JUST A HOUSE. THEM THAT FLESH DON'T HAVE NO BRAIN. NO, NO, THAT IT'S JUST A HOUSE. That's it. This is what's evil. >> Amen. >>. It's like the people who com. It's like the people who say the guns are what kills. That gun doesn't kill anybody. The person behind it. >> Same thing, minister. Same thing. And that's what they couldn't get about Yeshua. If the flesh is evil, Yeshua cannot be flesh. He's got to be more. He's got to be something different than that. He's got to be ah why? Because that's dosetism. And that is what Simon taught in his ministry. Let's continue. The next thing he taught was salvation by nosis. Now the word nosis is simply secret knowledge. That's it. Okay. He taught we were that they were saved not by obedience or even faith but secret knowledge or shall. We say ascending to their higher masters. This is a form of wikah. This is this is a the ascended masters where you are ascending by increasing secret knowledge, secret understanding. And that was one of his teachings. Another one of his teachings. And the more you begin to see these things, then the more the things you've heard. All your life begins to just make so much more sense for you. The next thing he taught was the rejection of Torah. Simon taught that the law came from the inferior God. Go back up there to his two god teaching. Go up there. A supreme god which was Holy Spirit, a feminine god. The inferior god is the one that gave the Torah. Now, why is the Torah god inferior? He's cruel. Whereas the supreme God, the mother of all, is merciful and loving and kind. She is the mother of Christ as well in all of his teachings. * 23:08 Remember this, every major heresy is all built on the foundations. You just saw on your screen. Every major heresy, everything. Now, let me show you who Simon uh passed his ministry on to, and you can do your own research later. I don't have time tonight to really go into all of this like I would like to. But this is the lineage of Simon. Now let's look at the dates. Everybody look at the dates. Simon Magus was the antichrist. He was on the earth from 30-65 AD. Okay? So right as Christ is leaving the earth, guess who shows up? Antichrist. After Simon Magus died, his ministry passed on to a man by the name of Manander. Manander was from 65 to 100. Manander passed it to Saturninius from 100 to 130. Saturnius passed it to Basil days from 117 to 138 and Basil days which we do not have a lot of information on those three men. Our information picks back up by a man named Curo in 135 AD. And then Curo passed his ministry to Marcion and he was on the earth from 140 to 160 AD. So that is the lineage of the Roman Catholic Church. That is the lineage. Now let's see what Irenaeus tells us about Kurdo. Now remember, Irenaeus was one of Polycarp's disciples. Arin uh Aronyaeus gives a lot of histories that we can look into. Let's see what he said about Kurdo. He says, "Kurdo was one that took his system from the followers of Simon.". Now, who was the followers of Simon? Those three men I just showed you. And where did Curo move to? Curo came to live at Rome and he taught. Notice what Kurdo taught. He taught that the God proclaimed by the Torah and the prophets was not the father of the Lord Jesus Christ. For the former was known, but the latter unknown. One was righteous, but the other was benevolent. Now, let me break that down for you. Curdo taught that Yahweh was not the father of Yeshua. The Holy Spirit was. Because remember, the Holy Spirit is the good God, the one that we all love. Hello, Holy Spirit. Good morning, Holy Spirit. We It is the Beni Hen God. It's the one that this generation loves. Curo taught that that God was the father of Jesus Christ, not Yahweh. Now, notice his system came from Simon. Remember what I told you moments ago? Every heresy in the church today came from one man, Simon. And you've been having your Bible all your lives, and none of us even knew this. Everything came from that one sorcerer, Simon. That's why he was the Antichrist. Everything came from him. Now notice that Curo arrived in Rome around 135 AD. He taught two gods, the Old Testament God and then the Holy Spirit. He rejected the law and the prophets because they came from an inferior God. Now let me show you what happened with Curo and the Catholic Church. And this is an interesting story. Herdo joined and came into the Catholic Church and brought his teachings into the church that he got from Simon. Now, at this time, the Catholic Church is not yet fully corrupted. At this time, it's not far gone. It's still making the split from John and the Asian churches until Curo arrives with Simon's teachings. Curo makes a public confession and joins the church and then he starts teaching nasticism in the Catholic Church. Well, his teachings were so extreme with two gods and and and all of his other extreme teachings that even the Catholic Church kicked him out. But then he came back and publicly confessed again and then begin to influence the church more and more and more and more. And that is where that that's how the teachings of Simon wound up totally making the Catholic Church what she became. Teaching the femininity of the Holy Spirit, teaching uh that the God of the Old Testament is an inferior God. And that was called infiltration. That's the moment that the Catholic Church, remember the Catholic Church has not yet accepted trinitarianism. The Catholic Church is not that all comes 200 years later. You're talking about the infancy. The Catholic Church, it took them decades to become the mother harlot that they became. * 31:05 And who brought it to them? Simon through his lineage and his leaders. Now after Curo comes Marcion of Copi. Now Marcion. Was born in 85 AD. He was a wealthy ship owner. His own father was a bishop. He arrived in Rome, listen to this carefully, right after Curo in 140 AD. So Curo is influencing the church and here comes Marcion. When Marcion gets to Rome, he gives the Roman Catholic Church $1 million. You see that spirit still trying to buy the church? Still trying to buy the church. That spirit of Simon. Still, do you remember. Simon tried to buy Peter and him? Still trying to buy the church. Here was Marcion's theology. Marcion called Yahweh, the God of the Old Testament, the demi urge. D M I D E M I U R G E. The demi urge. Meaning that Yahweh created a defective world. He gave a hard law to Moses. He was wrathful, jealous, inconsistent. But then Marcion taught about another god. And this god did not have a name that they didn't know the name Holy Spirit then. They just knew that it was not Yahweh. They called it the unknown God. But this is what come to be known as Holy Spirit. It was purely love and mercy and had no connection to Yahweh. Completely different God. The next thing Marcion throughout the entire Torah, all the prophets, all the writings, and listen. Carefully, anything remotely Jewish, Marcion eradicated it and taught this in the Catholic Church. The very first New Testament ever created was created by Marciel. It included the book of Luke. It removed all Old Testament quotations and it only had Galatians, Corinthians, Romans, Thessalonians. Everything else was removed because Marcion believed Paul was the only true apostle because he taught faith, not works. I don't know about the churches. Y'all grew up in, but I can almost tell you they thought Paul was the only true apostle as well. Does this resonate with anybody? >> Apostle. >> Yes. >> Amen. The churches I grew up in, you know, we worship Paul. I mean, it was everything was Paul said, Paul said, Paul said, Paul said, Paul said, you go to try to tell them about Torah. Tell me what they say. Come on. Paul said >> Paul said he was the apostle to the Gentiles. >> He was the apostle. That's Marcionism. Marcion worshiped Paul. Marcion believed Paul was the only legitimate apostle. Marcion wrote a book called Antithesis where he documented the contradictions between the Old Testament God and the Holy Spirit. He also taught dosatism that Yeshua didn't truly have a physical body. Now I want to turn to 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 and verse three. I tell you what, let's start at verse one. Elder, let's all read that together. 2 Thessalonians 2 and 1. Through3. >> Amen. Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Yesua the Messiah, and by our gathering together unto him, that ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter, as from us, as that the day of our of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means, for that day shall not come except. There come a falling away first and that man of sin be revealed the son of predition. Now, I don't know about you, but I used to read those words. For some reason, in my mind, Paul was writing in my mind to the end time church, but he wasn't. Paul was writing a letter to his church. >> Wow. >> All my life, I read this stuff like it was for me. >> Amen. And the antichrist was already there. >> Paul was writing to his church that as soon as I'm dead and gone, there will be a falling away because I'm not going to be here and neither will the apostles to protect you any longer from the spirit of antichrist. Don't be shaken, brethren. He He was not talking to Alen Morgan. He wasn't talking to me. He was talking to Joe and Bob that was in his church 2,000 years ago. Now, can we apply it? Of course. That goes without saying, but to get your context, you got to know who he was writing to. Now, skip down to verse seven. For the mystery of iniquity doeth already work. Only he who now restrains will let until he be taken out of the way. >> He said the mystery that you're all trying to figure out, the antichrist, everybody wants to know who it is. He said he's already in the ministry. He's already preaching. He's already here. Simon was in Rome AT THE SAME TIME PAUL IS IN ROME AND THEY'RE BOTH DOING THE WORK OF GOD SUPPOSEDLY. The only thing is Marcion had more signs and wonders than Paul had. Hope you just heard what I said. Marcion had more magician tricks than Paul had. Paul had doctrine. Good doctrine. * 39:38 Go to Acts 20. 29. Amen. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. >> Here's what I'm telling you. As soon as they cut my head off, this flock is going to become so polluted with false doctrine. I I just want. I wonder if we ever get that. That blows my mind. HOW SOMEBODY COULD SIT under the apostles teaching >> and lose out >> the son apostle. You're the lose our day >> and lose out with God >> LOSE OUT IN FALSE GO BACK TO or into false doctrine sitting under my God Paul said when I die in my church they're going to scatter. Y'all I tell you what that ought to do to every one of you watching me right now. That ought to put you on such a guard over your own doctrines, over your own that my God, that truth matters more than anything. Don't be easily moved, children. Don't be shaken because grievous wolves are coming in among us. Listen to what he said in verse 30, Elder. >> Also of your own self shall men arise. >> Oh, wait a minute. Also of your own selves. He said, "The very men I'm writing to are going to be deceived by this spirit and y'all that that you're going to rise up >> and depart from the faith. I've taught you right now. The falling away comes the minute I die.". He said, >> "Amen.". >> Not 2,000 years from now. Second Timothy 4. And4. Here's what is going to happen to those people. Here's what they're going to do. The first step out of truth is because of this. 2 Timothy 4 and4. And they shall turn away their ears from the truth and shall be turned unto fables. >> They'll quit listening to doctrine and turn that word fables is the Greek word mythos which means mythology like Helena, the Holy Spirit, wisdom. They will turn to mythology as soon as they turn from truth. They'll turn to streets of gold, gates of pearl. They'll turn from wanting to have a dominion mandate over the earth to mythology about clouds floating in the sky and golden harps to play. They will turn to mythology after I die. 1 Timothy 6 verse 20. He was talking about Simon Marcion Curdo. Amen. Oh Timothy, keep that which is a com committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings and oppositions of science falsely so-called. >> In other words, when you find the truth, you don't need nothing else. >> Amen. Apostle, >> when you find the truth, you can turn off every other YouTube channel. When you find the truth, you can turn off your little favorite rabbit hole video because you're turning from truth and you're chasing mythology. You're chasing fables. Elder 2. Thessalonians. And9. 2 Thessalonians. And9. >> Amen. Even him. Whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. What is he, what is he telling us about Simon the magician? Is he not identifying Simon the magician right here in this verse? This man is coming with all kind of what? Signs >> and wonders >> and wonders. Who in that day was known around the known world for their signs and their wonders? >> Simon. >> Simon the sorcerer. >> Amen. >> He is preaching about Simon. He will come in signs and seduction and wonders and take you from the truth of the word. And now he's going to prove to you once and for all who he's talking about. 2 Thessalonians 2 and verse 4. Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped so that he as God siteth in the temple of God showing himself that he is God. Look at your screen. Simon Magus. This is written by Justin Martyr. There was a Samaritan Simon, a native of the village of Gita, who in the reign of Claudius Caesar and in the royal city of Rome did mighty acts of magic by the art of demons operating in him. He was considered a god. And as a god was honored with a statue that said Simony Deio Santo or Simon the god sitting in the church of Rome. How much planer can this get? >> My. My and he's still sitting there. >> He's still sitting there because it's his church. My m my >> and his predecessor. The pope is known as the vikar of God. God on earth. It started Simon was in I mean come on folks. Paul said that this man is going to do mighty signs and wonders. What did Justin Martyr just say that Simon came to Rome and did signs and wonders by the power of demons. AND THEN SET HIMSELF UP AS GOD AND was worshiped as God? A statue was built in that holy city of Rome calling Simon God. And guess what? He still has a statue in that holy city of Rome. It's Pope Francis I 14th, the vikar of God, the vicer of God, the replacement or the substitute, the they believe the pope is God on the earth. Acts. 20. Verse. 31. Listen to what Paul said for three years of his ministry with tears in his eyes. * 48:31 Therefore, watch and remember that by the space of three years, I seize not to warn everyone night and day with tears. Wow. >> One more time. Therefore, watch and remember that by the space of three years, I cease not to warn everyone night and day with tears, night and day. I I I didn't stop warning you about this false teacher that would set himself up as God. Let me show you what Arya says about Marcion. Arrenaeus said, "From whom?". Talking about Simon, "All sorts of heresies find their origin.". I'm gonna leave that on the screen a minute. Every false doctrine you ever believed, all came from the Antichrist. And there he is. All sort of heresies find their beginning in a man in the Bible that you never paid two cents to even look at all your life. I mean, come on. You read that story about Simon the sorcerer. That man was the antichrist. That man, every false doctrine came from that man. It was developed over the years, fine-tuned, but the origin of them all come right there. Every single one of them come from that man. Now I want to talk about Irenaeus said that the whole world had been filled with the teachings of Marcion. Now remember, Marcion did not invent these ideas. He got them from Curo. Curo was in Rome, teaching in Rome, influencing people in Rome before he was discovered. How long was Curo teaching in the Roman Catholic Church? How many people did he influence in the Catholic Church? How many of those people stayed in that church? Bringing his teachings to the council of Nya. The seeds were planted. Brothers and sisters, now what I want to talk about now is one of the main teachings of Marcion. He hated the Jewish people. He wanted complete and total separation of anything Jewish. And this is where you all, every one of you need to listen closely. Every one of you need to know where this seed started. Simon, anti-semitism started with Simon, came through Curo and then through Marcion. He wanted a complete separation from the Jewish people. Now what that means is the followers of John over in the Asian churches, Ephesus, Smyrna, all of those churches were known as quartoesims. Porto descendants. What did that mean? They helped the Passover like you and I do exactly on Nissan or I'm sorry on a Aviv 14th. That's when we keep it. That's when they kept it. So we're all cordesimons, every one of us. And in that day, John's descendants, Polycarp and the rest, all kept Passover on the 14th, just like us. But you see, that was too Jewish for Marcon and Kurdo. They wanted a complete break from everything Jewish. So they quit keeping Passover and they created. Easter. Also the seventh day Sabbath on Saturday. Nope. They created Sunday. Why creating a a a a complete dichotomy of anything Jewish? Torah observance. The church began to preach the law was done away with. Biblical feast, pagan holidays, Yahweh and Yeshua, Lord and Jesus, Hebrew roots versus Greek philosophy. Do you see? All of this came from Simon. Every bit of it came from Simon. And that's why at the council of Nika, Constantine said these words. It appeared an unworthy thing that in the celebration of this most holy feast we should follow the practice of the Jews.
