Part 2 "The End Times through the lens of the Feast of Israel"

Now, beloved, last Friday night on Sabbath evening, we started teaching you that you cannot understand the end times, and I've heard every end time preacher, I've heard every end time teacher, and they all come up lacking to me because they don't understand the holy days of the scripture. YOU CANNOT understand the end times if you don't see them through what glasses. Remember we talked about glasses Friday night? Pentecostal glasses, Baptist glasses, Catholic glasses. THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN UNDERSTAND YOUR BIBLE, brother E.J., I hate to say this to you, BUT YOU CAN'T UNDERSTAND THEM WITH ANY OTHER glasses but Hebrew glasses. Now, that's a fact. Someone told me, they said, "BROTHER BONNIE, I DON'T need to understand THE HEBREW, I'VE GOT THE HOLY GHOST. " WELL, LET ME tell you something, sweetheart. That Holy Ghost leads you and guides you into all truth. THAT'S RIGHT. HE DOESN'T BRING YOU ALL TRUTH when you receive him. He leads you there. Okay? Now, stay with me tonight. THAT'S CALLED OUT OF EGYPT. THE REASON ISRAEL WAS THE CHURCH, THEY WERE CALLED OUT OF EGYPT. THE REASON YOU'RE THE CHURCH, YOU WERE CALLED OUT OF SIN. BUT IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THIS, YOU'LL GET YOUR BIBLE WRONG EVERY SINGLE TIME. HE FULFILLED IT PERFECTLY. SOMEBODY SAID, "BROTHER BONNIE, YOU JUST MISSED IT. HE DIED ON FRIDAY." NOW WHAT DID JESUS SAY WOULD BE THE PROOF HE WAS THE legitimate Messiah? He would BE IN THE GRAVE HOW LONG? THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS. THREE NOT JUST THREE DAYS. AND OKAY. HE GOES IN THE GRAVE FRIDAY OR FRIDAY EVENING, SUPPOSEDLY AT ABOUT 6:00 IN the evening. Let's go to 6:00 Saturday EVENING, THAT GIVES US ONE NIGHT AND ONE DAY. AND HE'S RESURRECTED ABOUT 6 HOURS LATER. ANYBODY want to tell me how we ever believed this junk? I'll tell you how, the Pope of Rome. THESE LIES CAME DOWN TO US SO THAT WE WOULD NOT KNOW BROTHER BONNIE, GOD DON'T CARE ABOUT ALL THAT. THEN IF HE DON'T CARE ABOUT IT, THROW THIS AWAY AND LIVE FOR HIM HOWEVER YOU WANT to live FOR HIM. Because the lie brings you in here, gets you to shouting and screaming over a preacher and what he said, when he gets through you couldn't tell nobody what he said. You just want to have church. You just want to go out of here with your emotional weekly fix. But I'm going to send you out of here tonight with the weapons of your warfare. Yeah. The truth, so that you can know what time it is. SO WE COME TO UNDERSTAND THESE FESTIVALS AND THEN FRIDAY NIGHT WE STARTED TEACHING YOU about the Feast of Trumpets. Now that comes up in Octo- uh in September of this year. And why DO WE CELEBRATE IT? WHAT DOES THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS REPRESENT? The coming of the Lord. And what else? What happens at the coming of the Lord? Second coming. Something else. What happens at his coming? The kingdom. Say it again. Kingdom. What? The kingdom. Oh, before that. Before that. The resurrection of the dead. The trumpets. REMEMBER HOW MANY TRUMPETS DID GOD TELL MOSES to blow? Two. Two. Made out of what? Silver. SILVER. AND WHY DID HE SAY MAKE TWO TRUMPETS? THE FIRST TRUMPET WOULD RESURRECT the who? The first. Is everybody awake back there? Say it BACK THERE. THE LEADERS OF GOD'S CHURCH, WHICH IS THE BRIDE, WHICH IS THE 144,000, WHICH IS THE OVERCOMERS. NOW WHAT DOES THE SECOND TRUMPET WAKE UP? THE REST OF THE CHURCH. SEE, ALL OF OUR LIVES WE WERE TAUGHT THERE WERE TWO RESURRECTIONS, BROTHER JASON. WE WERE TAUGHT THE FIRST RESURRECTION was for the church. And we WERE TAUGHT THE SECOND resurrection was for the sinner. WE WERE LIED TO. WHAT WE DISCOVERED FRIDAY NIGHT IS THAT THE CHURCH DOES NOT COME UP IN THE FIRST RESURRECTION. Only the choice part of the church comes up in the first resurrection. Paul calls it the better resurrection. He calls it the high calling, not just the REGULAR CALLING. THE FIRST RESURRECTION IS FOR THE LEADERS, THE OVERCOMERS OF GOD'S HOLY CHURCH. NOW, TONIGHT I'M GOING TO DIVE A LITTLE DEEPER NOW AND SHOW YOU WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN AT THIS JUDGMENT. THE BIBLE SAID THERE IS A DAY APPOINTED TO EVERY MAN to be judged by God. BUT THERE IS ONE GROUP OF PEOPLE THAT will not go to the judgment. Those in the first resurrection. DO YOU KNOW WHY THEY WILL NOT GO BEFORE THE JUDGMENT? BECAUSE JUDGMENT HAS BEGAN IN THE HOUSE OF GOD FOR THEM ALREADY by the word OF GOD. DO YOU KNOW WHAT WE'RE GOING TO BE JUDGED BY AT THE JUDGMENT IF YOU DON'T MAKE THE FIRST RESURRECTION? THE BIBLE SAID, "AND THE BOOKS WILL BE OPEN." DO YOU KNOW WHERE THAT WORD BOOKS IS IN IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION? IT'S THE GREEK WORD BIBLIA, WHERE WE GET THE WORD BIBLE. THE BIBLE WILL BE OPEN AT THE JUDGMENT. AND WHAT YOU'RE BEING JUDGED BY RIGHT NOW, THE WHOLE WORLD WILL BE JUDGED BY AT THAT GREAT RESURRECTION OF THE WHOLE WORLD. BUT TONIGHT, SISTER BONNIE, YOU'RE BEING JUDGED UNDER THE PREACHING OF THIS HUMBLE SERMON OF THE LORD. THAT WORD IS JUDGING YOU TONIGHT. HOW DO I KNOW THAT? BECAUSE YOU WILL BE SITTING HERE TONIGHT AND YOU WILL SAY MANY TIMES, "OH, HELP ME, LORD. " THAT'S THE JUDGMENT OF THE LORD. YES. HALLELUJAH. PRUNING YOU AND CHANGING YOU FOR THE FOR THE RESURRECTION OF THE FIRST CALLING. YES. HALLELUJAH. SO TONIGHT YOU'RE BEING JUDGED. IF YOU'RE SITTING under this ministry, WHEN YOU HEAR THIS TEACHING TONIGHT, YOU WERE JUDGED A WHILE AGO WHEN I TOLD YOU JESUS DIDN'T DIE ON A FRIDAY. YOU KNOW WHAT WAS JUDGED IN YOU? YOUR OWN WAY OF THINKING WAS TRANSFORMED BY THE WORD OF GOD. YOU WERE BEING CHANGED IN THE TRUTH. NOW, BROTHER BARNETT, IF IT'S NOT all the church coming up in the first resurrection, THEN WHAT IS THE PURPOSE of the uh the second resurrection? Everybody in this room will not be in the first resurrection. Maybe me. WHAT DID PAUL SAY? WE READ THE LAST SCRIPTURE. HE SAID, "I MYSELF" WHAT DID HE SAY? "DON'T COUNT MYSELF AS TO HAVE ALREADY APPREHENDED that first resurrection." HE KNEW HE WOULD BE IN THE GENERAL RESURRECTION, the second one, BUT HE DIDN'T KNOW HE WOULD MAKE THE FIRST ONE. YOU BETTER LIVE LIKE THAT, NOT KNOWING IF YOU'LL BE COUNTED worthy of that first resurrection. BUT THE REASON WHAT I JUST SAID, "COUNTED WORTHY," IF MOST Christian preachers would hear me preaching right now and I used that WORD "COUNTED WORTHY," WHAT WOULD THEY SAY ABOUT ME? THAT I'M PREACHING WHAT? WORKS. BECAUSE THEY LIED TO YOU AND SAID YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO anything to be worthy. You better go read your Bible. LET ME TELL YOU, THE ONLY THING SALVATION YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE worthy of, BUT REWARDS AND POSITIONS IN the coming KINGDOM OF GOD, YOU MUST BE COUNTED WORTHY OF THAT HONOR. LET'S TURN TO OUR TEXT TONIGHT, 1 Corinthians chapter 3, verse 10 through verse 15. Oh, I hope that you cherish the things you're learning in these meetings because very few ministries are teaching these things because it does not bring in the crowd. It only brings in the remnant. AS A WISE MASTER BUILDER, I HAVE LAID THE FOUNDATION AND ANOTHER IS BUILDING. BUT LET EVERY MAN TAKE HEED TO HOW BUILDS ON GRACE. THIS scripture's about to open up right before your eyes. HE SAID GRACE WAS GIVEN TO ME, BUT NOW I MUST BE VERY CAREFUL OF WHAT I DO WITH GRACE. Y'ALL KNOW THAT'S what it said. If you think I changed the words, go read IT AGAIN. HE SAID, "I MUST TAKE HEED TO HOW I BUILD." WHAT DID HE START THIS LESSON OFF WITH? SUBJECT. WHAT'S THE FIRST WHAT'S THE SUBJECT OF THIS VERSE? GRACE. IT WAS GIVEN TO ME. GOD CALLED HIM AND WHAT HE DIDN'T EARN THAT CALLING, DID HE? BUT HE SAID, "NOW THAT I RECEIVED GRACE, I've got to be very careful how I build on that grace." Let's read. For another foundation can no man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. NOW, IF ANY MAN BUILD ON THIS FOUNDATION, GOLD, SILVER, precious stones, wood, HAY OR STUBBLE, EVERY MAN'S FAITH WORKS. WHAT? WORKS. OH, the preacher told me it should say faith. On TBN and TNN and all the other NNs, it says it's only about faith, NO WORKS. EVERY MAN'S WORKS SHALL BE made plain. FOR THE DAY SHALL DECLARE IT. BECAUSE IT WILL BE REVEALED BY FIRE, AND THE FIRE SHALL TRY EVERY MAN'S WORK OF WHAT SORT IT IS. IF ANY MAN'S WORK SHALL ABIDE WHICH HE HAS BUILT ON TOP OF GRACE, HE SHALL RECEIVE NOT SALVATION, YOU WON'T HEAR THIS PREACHED NOWHERE. YOU DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS A REWARD. YOU THOUGHT YOU WAS TRYING TO GET TO HEAVEN. GOD'S TRYING TO GET YOU OUT OF HEAVEN AND GET YOU ON THE THRONE. THAT'S RIGHT. OOH, THAT WENT OVER LIKE a lead balloon. Hallelujah. When I first heard these truths, you couldn't shut me up. I was so excited to see these revelations of truth. LISTEN TO WHAT HE SAID, VERSE 15, "IF ANY MAN'S WORK SHALL BE BURNED, YEAH. HE SHALL SUFFER LOSS, BUT HE'LL STILL be saved." Yes, he will. Come on. Hallelujah. Just just Just meditate on that for a minute. I want you to digest that verse. He'll still be saved, Amen. but he'll be worthless. I could shut this sermon down right now. You just learned more truth in that one verse than you heard your whole life. When you went to church, you was told to come TO THE ALTAR, CONFESS CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR, AND GO TO HEAVEN. IN THIS MINISTRY, WE'RE TELLING YOU TO COME TO THE CROSS, ACCEPT CHRIST YOUR SAVIOR, AND GO TO WORK. YEAH. HALLELUJAH. DOING WHAT? BUILDING UP THOSE TREASURES IN HEAVEN, THE REWARDS OF THE BELIEVER IN THE COMING KINGDOM OF GOD HERE ON EARTH. THE PURPOSE OF THE JUDGMENT IS NOT TO SEE IF YOU'RE SAVED. NO, IT'S TO TRY your works to see whether you did them from a pure heart for God, or whether you had a motive of recognition. I love it when people bring their tithe and they want me to know how much they put in the offering. That turns me off so bad when you do that to me. Don't ever tell me I put Just put it in there and give it to the Lord. JUST PUT IT IN THERE. WHAT? THERE'S A MOTIVE. IF YOUR MOTIVE IS TO CONTROL THIS PREACHER, YOU JUST GOT YOUR ONLY REWARD YOU WILL EVER GET. I DON'T CARE HOW MUCH YOU GIVE. I DON'T NEED A DOLLAR, BUT I DO CARE ABOUT THE MOTIVE of your heart. OH, SISTER TASHA CAME TO ME TONIGHT AND AND I'M SAYING THIS NOT CUZ SHE WANTED ME TO. SHE SAID, "BROTHER VAUGHN, I WANT TO HELP SISTER KENDRICK CLEAN THIS CHURCH." NOBODY KNEW SHE TOLD ME THAT. SHE SAID, "WHAT DO I DO?" THAT WAS FROM A MOTIVE OF SERVITUDE. AT THAT MOMENT, HEAVEN PAID ATTENTION TO THAT LITTLE CONVERSATION, SISTER. HEAVEN HEARD YOUR DESIRE TO SHARE IN THE BODY OF CHRIST. That's right. Paul makes it clear that these are Christians that's going to stand before the judgment. Do you know why there's 30 minutes of silence in heaven? It just told you. He said they will suffer loss. Sister Justina, when you stand before the judgment, if you don't make the first resurrection, every work you've done since the cross will be declared openly in the day. Read your Bible. AND GOD WILL JUDGE THE MOTIVES of your heart, and he will either reward you or take those rewards away from you. And there, the Bible said they will suffer loss. But the problem with the church is we have never designated the difference between rewards, salvation, and damnation. So therefore, when we read that verse they will suffer loss, we think that means they're GOING TO HELL. NO, THEY'RE GOING to heaven. Penniless. With no position of trust in God's kingdom. Do you know when you came to the Lord, Brother Jason? When me and my wife first married, we loved each other, but we did not trust each other. Amen. But over the years, doing right by one another, making sure I was there when when I didn't feel like being there, making sure that she was all What? We built something called trust. You could come to us and tell us something on one another, we wouldn't believe it if you had the evidence TO SHOW IT. WHAT? WE trust one another. When you come to God, A A JOURNEY STARTED, NOT JUST OF YOU learning to trust him, but him learning to trust you. YEAH. BROTHER VAUGHN, THAT'S NOT BIBLICAL. OH, you don't think it is? There was a man by the name of Abraham. He said, "Abraham, I want you to take your boy up to that mountain, and I want you to basically pay your tithes, give me your first son." Oh, that's what he wanted Abraham to do. Abraham went up there to pay HIS TITHE. OH, YES, HE DID. And right when he went to pay it, you know what God said about Abraham? "Now I know that you that you WILL SERVE ME. " BROTHER VAUGHN, GOD KNOWS MY HEART. EYE WASH. YOUR ACTIONS TELL YOUR HEART. That's how he knows it, by your action. Oh, listen to me tonight. You can get off with this, "Well, God knows my intention." Your actions will prove your intentions. I can't cheat on my wife and say, "Honey, I didn't intend to do it. " Is anybody even hearing this message? Because if you were, you would begin to see something unraveling before you. It's called the mystery of the church. God wants tonight, Sister Bonnie, for you to do more than hear him say, "Enter in." But he wants you to hear him say, "WELL DONE." WELL DONE, YOUR WORKS HAVE TOLD ON YOU. WELL DONE, YOUR WORKS HAVE TOLD ON YOU. HALLELUJAH. Those verses we just read, you need to read them over and over and over and over every day. Now, let's go to the book of uh Acts, chapter 7, verse 38. Acts, chapter 7, verse 38. Let's read it. This is he that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spoke to him in Mount Sinai, and with our fathers, who received the law of God. But listen to verse 39, "TO WHOM OUR fathers would not obey." Yep. They were the original church, and they had the same problem this church has. They wanted God, but they didn't want his law. They wanted HIS SALVATION. THEY WANTED HIM TO FIGHT THEIR BATTLES, BROTHER JASON. THEY WANTED HIM TO GO BEFORE THEM, BUT THEY DID not want to obey, BUT THEY THRUST HIM FROM THEM, AND IN THEIR HEARTS THEY TURNED back again to sin. You want to know why the churches of this nation are powerless to heal a headache anymore? That's right. They have thrust him far from them. Oh, brother Vaughan, I feel God when I go in their churches. No, baby, you feel the rain. It falls on the just and the unjust. Let me tell you something. You go out in the field where there's a bunch of cockleb- cockleburrs, a bunch of wild cockleburrs, and you got good VEGETABLES GROWING. WHEN IT RAINS, the cockleburrs get the same rain that the vegetables GET. THE WHEAT GETS THE SAME RAIN THAT THE TARES GET. AND THE TARES THINK THEY'RE RIGHT WITH GOD BECAUSE THEY FEEL THE RAIN. THAT'S RIGHT. BUT WHEN YOU WALK IN THIS BUILDING AND WE BEGIN TO PRAISE THE LORD, THE RAIN COMES DOWN WITH YOU LIVING IN YOUR SIN, AND YOU GOING TO FEEL IT. THAT'S RIGHT. AND YOU GOING TO LEAVE HERE SAYING, "OH, I'M all right with God. I felt the Holy Ghost." You felt the wind, darling, and you can't help but feel THE WIND. BUT IT'S ABOUT WHEN YOU leave this building, ARE YOU WALKING IN OBEDIENCE OR ARE YOU WALKING IN REBELLION? THAT'S WHEN THE RAIN GOT TO DON'T BE LIKE THIS CHURCH IN THE WILDERNESS THAT SAID TO GOD, "WE LOVE YOU, BUT WE WON'T OBEY YOU. " THERE'S not a Christian church in the world that will not worship God. They have perfected worship. But while they worship him, they refuse to obey his commandments. God said to that church some very powerful words. Let me read to you what he said to this church. Now, this is all to do with the end times because I'm fixing to show you why you got to know this message. Hallelujah. Let's go over to the book of um Luke 13 27. Luke 13:27. You've eaten the Holy Spirit. You drank it. He said THIS CHURCH WILL SAY, "WE HAVE DRUNK IN YOUR PRESENCE AND WE HAVE PREACHED THE GOSPEL. " BUT THERE SHALL BE WEEPING BUT HE SHALL SAY, "I TELL YOU I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE." DEPART FROM ME, YOU BUNCH OF HOLY Ghost-filled lawless people. Did you know your Bible said that? Brother Vaughan, it don't say that. Don't challenge me. That's exactly what it says in the Greek. Go study That's why I wanted somebody to look up that word, worker of iniquity. Lawlessness. And what's the word? Lawlessness. Now, I just said lawlessness and they thought I made that up. The word iniquity means IN THE ORIGINAL WITHOUT LAW. LAWLESS. SO, WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? THESE PEOPLE CAME TO THE LORD AND SAID TO HIM, "BUT WE'VE BEEN IN YOUR PRESENCE. WE'VE DRANK FROM YOUR SPIRITUAL ROCK. WE WAS THERE WHEN THE HOLY GHOST WAS FALLING HE SAID, "BUT YOU HAD ONE PROBLEM, the same problem the first church had. You would not obey me." These couldn't be found in your heart or your church. Matter of fact, your preacher told you that Jesus did away with them. He replaced them. You better run out of that church faster than you can blink your eye. It's the demon powers of hell that would tell you that one of those commandments has ever been done away with. And they're all up and down the street. You tell them I said it because when it comes to this word, I DON'T BACK DOWN TO NOBODY. THIS TRUTH IS MARCHING ON. THOSE COMMANDMENTS OH, DON'T GET OFFENDED CUZ I THREW THEM ON THE FLOOR. YOU'VE BEEN DOING IT FOR YEARS. THAT'S WHERE THE CHURCHES PUT THE LAW OF GOD. LAWLESSNESS IS DESPISING GOD'S LAW. Let's read Matthew 5:19. And I'm going to let you go here soon as I do. Matthew 5:19. Let's start at VERSE 18. NO, LET'S START AT VERSE 17. I want you to read this scripture to the next Christian church you go in that tells you that the law was done away with. I want you to read the words of the head of this church. Don't tell them Brother Vaughan SAID IT. TELL THEM JESUS said it. Verse 17. Everybody there? DON'T THINK FOR ONE SECOND that I came to do away with the law or the prophets. I did not come to destroy them. But I came to what? Now, be very careful. Sister Justine, have you ever heard of the law of gravity? Do you know what that law is? Tell the class what that law is today. Whatever goes up must come down. Is that right? Got a witness? Quick question. When a plane Have y'all ever known of a plane to fulfill that law? Yeah, it went up. It came down. Did it end the law of gravity? It fulfilled it. Jesus came to take every one of these laws and display them before you. How to live them. And I have TO WITH THE GOD BEFORE YOU. WHY? HE SAID, "I DO NOTHING unless my father tells me to do it." THAT'S COMMANDMENT NUMBER ONE. COMMANDMENT NUMBER TWO. HE HE LIVED THESE COMMANDMENTS, AND NOW YOUR CHURCH WILL TELL YOU BECAUSE HE LIVED THEM, YOU DON'T HAVE TO. THAT'S LIKE TELLING YOU BECAUSE THE PLANE FULFILLED THE LAW OF GRAVITY, IT DON'T EXIST NO MORE. TRY IT OUT SEE IF IT don't exist. THESE LAWS HAVE LEFT THE CHURCH, AND WHEN I PREACH THEM, THEY CALL ME EVERY NAME IN THE BOOK. BUT I KNOW WHAT HE'S GOING TO CALL ME. Read the next verse and you'll find out. Read verse 18. For verily I say unto you, "Till heaven and earth pass away, not one single line shall in no way ever pass away from these laws." You want to know why America's cursed today with your Bible? You want to know why America's cursed today? She did away with the law. How many went to a school that had these on the wall somewhere? I did. How many ever went to a courthouse where these were sitting in THE COURTROOM? YEAH. NOT ANYMORE. WHY? WE LOVE GOD. WE HATE LAW. THAT'S WHAT WE DO. BUT WE WANT TO FEEL THIS RAIN, THIS WE WANT TO DRINK IN HIS PRESENCE, YOU You're not a bride of Christ, you're a That's right. I don't care if you like it or not, honey. CUZ HE MAKES YOU SO MAD THAT YOU WANT HIM TO SHUT UP. NOW, WHEN HE'S DONE PREACHING, YOU CAN LIKE HIM AGAIN, BUT NOT WHILE HE'S PREACHING. WHY? BECAUSE THE CORRECTION OF God is flowing through his vocal cords, MAKING YOU SQUIRM, MAKING YOU UNCOMFORTABLE, MAKING TELL YOUR NEIGHBOR I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THAT. MAKING YOU WONDER WHAT HE SAID. BUT WHEN YOU GET THE REAL HOLY GHOST, I DON'T CARE WHO EVER SPOKE IN TONGUES. YOU CAN PREACH THE TRUTH. THAT'S ALL I CARE ABOUT. HALLELUJAH. A PENTECOSTAL CHURCH BECOME SO FOCUSED ON TONGUES, WE FORGOT THE LAW. THAT'S RIGHT. OH, YEAH. TOLD PEOPLE THEY HAD THE HOLY GHOST BECAUSE THEIR TONGUES SWELLED, AND THEY WEREN'T OBEYING THE WORD OF GOD. THEY NEVER HAD THE HOLY GHOST. He said if I would preach that right there, the commandments of God, Brother, he said if I would preach that, while you may call me a legalist, a Pharisee, let me tell you what he's going to call me. Are you ready? It's in THE NEXT LINE. WHOEVER PREACHES IT SHALL BE CALLED GREATEST IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD. OH, YEAH. WOO! CALL ME WHATEVER YOU WANT TO. HE CALLS ME GREAT. HE WANTS TO CALL YOU GREAT. WHY? BECAUSE YOU MUST OBEY HIM TO SERVE HIM. And that great judgment day comes, the books will yield. Do you know why God wrote these 10 commandments? Paul will tell you why he did it. Do you know these 10 commandments didn't start on Mount Sinai? How silly of us to think, Brother Barnett's preaching Moses. These laws existed before Moses was ever thought of. BROTHER BARNETT'S BRINGING US BACK TO THE LAW. SOMEBODY NEEDS TO BRING YOUR REBELLIOUS BUTT BACK TO SOMETHING. YEAH. BROTHER BARNETT, YOU'RE PREACHING THE LAW. I THEY STARTED WITH MOSES. REALLY? YOU OKAY, WE got a real problem then. Let's go back 500 years before Moses was ever a thought in his daddy's mind. You'll find a man named Abraham. And Yahweh said to Abraham, "Because you kept my commandments." These are the heart of God. They existed as long as God has existed. And they will exist as long as he exists. This preaching makes some folks uncomfortable. I get that. But when you What What did David say? David said, "On your law, these I want to meditate day and night." and night. The church says, "Don't remember those laws." David was a man after God's own heart. Do you know why? Because the law of God is the heart of God. That's right. This is his heart. Why? It connects you to him. Yes. When you obey them, it proves to him that you're not of this world, this rebellious world, but you're a bride, set apart. This is his heart. When you hug these, David, you're hugging the heart of God. David said, "I want to hide this law in my heart that I might not sin against you, oh God. " Until you get to that point tonight, you are not worthy of the kingdom of God. Thank you, Lord. Hallelujah. Let's move quickly. Let's go to Luke chapter 12, and I'll be done. And Yeshua said, "Who is Who then is that faithful and wise steward whom his lord shall make ruler over his household?" I'm fixing to show you folks one of the greatest mysteries of the word of God. LISTEN TO WHAT HE SAID. "WHERE IS THE SERVANT that I can make ruler over my church?" Brother Barnett, don't say that. Yes, it does. That is. LET'S READ IT AGAIN. "WHO THEN IS THAT FAITHFUL"? WHAT IS THE TWO QUALIFICATIONS TO BE A RULER? Faithful and wise. HE SAID, "WHO WHERE IS THAT PERSON? FAITHFUL AND WISE WHO I CAN MAKE RULER OVER MY PEOPLE?" THERE'S YOUR FIRST RESURRECTION, SAINTS, your leaders, you remember? "TO GIVE THEM THEIR PORTION IN DUE SEASON. " "BLESSED IS THAT SERVANT." NOT ALL SERVANTS, but that SERVANT "WHOM HIS LORD, WHEN HE COMETH, SHALL find so doing." So doing what? Faithful and wise. Verse 44. "Of a truth I say unto you that he will make him ruler over everything that God has." And you was wanting to go to heaven. This is much better than heaven. God said, "I want to make you ruler over heaven, ruler over earth." He said, "But I've got to find that particular servant." Not just any old saved Christian. "But I'm looking FOR A CERTAIN SERVANT that I can put in the position over my people, over everything I've got." What did the Bible say I started off Friday night about the everything being under Yeshua's feet, yet nothing is under his feet right now? But the Bible says that one day that Satan will be tread under our feet. THAT'S WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS. WHY? BECAUSE GOD IS LOOKING FOR CHOICE CHRISTIANS TODAY THAT ARE BEING FAITHFUL. YOU'RE HERE TONIGHT, YOU'RE FAITHFUL. YOU'RE BEING WISE, FAITHFUL. WHY? BECAUSE HE WANTS YOU FOR HIS SERVICE, NOT FOR HEAVEN, BUT FOR HIS SERVICE. YES. Shall we continue? Verse number 45. "BUT AND IF THAT SERVANT SAY IN HIS heart in his heart, My lord delays his coming, AND SHALL BEGIN TO BEAT THE MEN servants and the maidens, and to EAT AND TO DRINK AND TO BE DRUNKEN, THEN THE LORD OF THAT SERVANT WILL COME IN A DAY WHEN HE'S NOT LOOKING FOR HIM, AND IN AN HOUR WHEN HE'S NOT AWARE, AND WILL CUT HIM in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers." "AND THAT SERVANT WHICH KNEW THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD, AND prepared not himself accordingly to the commandments of God, shall be beaten with many stripes. BUT HE THAT KNEW NOT." NOW, THIS IS WHERE I'M GOING TO PROVE to you what I've BEEN TEACHING. "BUT HE THAT KNEW NOT, AND DID COMMIT THINGS WORTHY of beating, shall be beaten with few stripes. just a few stripes. "FOR UNTO WHOMSOEVER MUCH IS GIVEN, MUCH IS REQUIRED. OF HIM SHALL much be required. AND TO WHOM MEN HAVE COMMITTED MUCH, OF HIM they will ask the more." Have you ever wondered why some Christians can get by without living for God as hard as you do? I just answered your question. God's plans for you is different than his plans for the church. Yes, yes. Hallelujah. He's looking for a servant tonight, and that servant is doing what? Being faithful to the house of God, the people of God, loving them, SERVING THEM. WHY? BECAUSE HE SAID THAT IN THIS PARABLE THAT HE'S LOOKING FOR A PEOPLE THAT HE CAN PUT OVER THE CHURCH. YEAH. NOT RIGHT NOW. But what did the parable say? When his lord returns. When Jesus comes back, Brother Reagan, the whole earth is going to be saved. The Bible says that. They said, "In that day I'll pour out my spirit on all flesh." That everyone will be filled with the spirit of God during the MILLENNIAL REIGN. GO READ YOUR BIBLE. THAT DAY IS COMING, BUT THAT DAY IS GOING TO NEED A LEADER. YEAH. SOMEBODY TO BE TRUSTED YES. AND PUT OVER THE Lord's inheritance. Hallelujah. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU TONIGHT, BUT I I WANT MORE THAN SALVATION. YES. I want sanctification. Now, WHAT DID HE SAY THERE, SISTER JUSTINA? SOME OF us he's requiring more out of us than others. How is that fair? Well, let me ask you this. How is it fair that Prince William has to live the life that he has to live? How fair is that, sister, that he can't go anywhere in the world without doing anything wrong? Or what's going to happen to his royalty? He'll embarrass the family, won't he? You're not going to get by with nothing. You're going to be like, "Please, LORD, LET THEM THEY GOT BY WITH IT. " HE SAYS, "THEY'RE NOT YOU. MY PLANS FOR YOU IS FOR THE COMING OF THE MESSIAH. YOU ARE ROYALTY, A HOLY NATION, CALLED OUT OF THIS WORLD." HALLELUJAH. YOU CAN'T YOU CAN'T DRESS LIKE THEY DRESS. YOU CAN'T TALK LIKE THEY TALK, EVEN THOSE IN THE CHURCH. OH, HALLELUJAH. WHY? How do I know? It was asked of him. And you know what he said? "We just have to leave that up to faith." No, we don't. We have the word of God that's trying to prepare us for what's next. That's right. But the church don't preach it. That's right. Brother E.J., you gave the answer I was looking for. So, tonight's lesson, how does that tie into the coming of the Lord? Because before tonight's lesson, you didn't even know what the coming of the Lord was for. You thought it was to put you all on brooms and fly to heaven. Right? Amen. Maybe not brooms, but you get the point. If you think that's the purpose of salvation, you'll live like it. But when you understand that he's looking for that choice servant to place as a ruler over his inheritance, when you get that, all of a sudden, now you know why you were saved. Because, Brother Labeth, when he called you, he started transforming you by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Ricky, he wanted to change you from Ricky. He wanted to change your name. He wanted to change your identity. He wanted you to quit living for Ricky and start living for a higher calling. Yes. Yes. Yes. He wanted you to obey these commandments because this is his trust test for you. I don't know how you feel about tithing tonight. I'm not here to preach on it one way or the other. I've been paying my tithes since I was knee-high to a grasshopper. My grandmother taught me to give God his part before I did anything else. Every week when I get paid my tithe, I don't care if I don't have food in my refrigerator. I'm going to bring my tithe. The sermon's not about tithes tonight, so y'all can relax. But I'll tell you what the tithe is. It's a trust test. Cuz what did God say? "You have robbed me." And you're like, "How did we rob God?" He said, "By not giving me your first fruit." It's a trust test. These are trust tests. You are developing trust with Yahweh. Yeah. I developed trust with him because, Brother Ricky, every even though I've given up grocery money before, I've never went without groceries. Right? It was a trust test for the Barnett. AND I KNOW you're a giver, Brother Barnett. MANY YEARS AGO you donated that piano to this church bought and paid for it. He's a giver. When you learn to give to God, it's a trust test. And they'll I'm not giving my money to no preacher. Then give it to God. You still got to give it TO THE PREACHER. WHY? BECAUSE THEY REPRESENT THE WORK OF GOD IN THE EARTH. YES. Y'all see this money in here? I've been here 7 years. I've never taken one single dime from our work that I do here. Never. I've never taken a dime. My Lord, we don't give but about 20, 40 dollars a service anyway, so ain't nobody getting rich around here. But the point I'm making is, if this is what I was in it for, I've got a job that pays 50 times that much in a week. This ain't why I'm here. That's right. But you need to give for the trust test. Because if God sees that you won't give him the first part of this, because this is where your heart is. That's right. Believe me when I tell you that. You know you're check your bank account more than you check your prayer log. Right? Because that's where our hearts are. We steal this. We This is This controls every one of you in this room right here. And when you reach in and you get the first part, and you just bring it, and it may hurt you to do it, but somebody said God loves a cheerful giver. There was times I wasn't real cheerful about it, okay? I'll be honest with you. I was like, "Lord, I can't afford I I got light bill due tomorrow. " But I started a relationship of trust with my God. "Thou shalt have no other gods before you." Your money's a god. Come on. Yeah. If you think I'm trying to get your money tonight, I feel sorry for you, cuz you ain't got no money. Hardly not. Y'all all broke like I am. I'm sorry, it ain't about money. Get beyond that. Trust me tonight. Trust that I'm trying to teach you how to be blessed. You don't bring God the tithe, and see, that's where the church today has got it backwards. We're not giving to God to get. We're giving because we trust him with our offering that he will feed us, THAT'S RIGHT. NOT OUR JOBS, but he will feed us. YES. AND TONIGHT I'M ENCOURAGING YOU, PUT GOD FIRST IN EVERYTHING. SISTER JUSTINA, YOU CAME in late tonight, but I know that you were probably so busy trying to move into your new house. And I know when you walked in that door, you literally had to make yourself come tonight. You wanted to, but you had other things that needed to be done.
