Shane Vaughn Preaches LIVE "Where Did The Rain Go" And then the Lord's wrath will be kindled against you and he will shut up the Heavens I want you to remember something God will shut up the Heavens that there will be no what no rain stay with me and that the land will not give her fruit lest you perish quickly from off the good land which the Lord has given you now we're turning to 2 Chronicles 7: 13 if I shut up Heaven that there be no rain or if I command the Locust to Devour the land or if I send pestilence among my people you know that's a God we don't really hear much about anymore the one that sends pestilence among on his people not the world but his people the church because judgment begins among his people amen First Kings 17 and one and I'll let you be seated and Elijah the tishbite who was of the inhabitants of Gilead said unto Ahab as Yahweh the god of Israel liveth before whom I stand there shall not be any duw or rain these years but according to my word did you notice rain in every one of those verses I want to preach to you tonight where did the Rain Go who stopped the rain where did the rain go father I'm just an humble servant on my own I can do nothing but I stand before your people with the message that you gave me tonight and I ask you to anoint the lips of the unprofitable servant and anoint the ears of these precious saints of God that are assembled in this building father remove the scales from their eyes so they will not misunderstand anything I say remove the unhearing from their ears so they won't misinterpret anything I say but I ask the light of the Holy Spirit to shine upon everyone to tonight where they can leave here saying surely we have heard from the Lord hallelujah God bless you you may be seated I'm preaching tonight where did the Rain Go who stopped the rain now what do I mean by rain we of course you know I'm not talking about the physical rain because it rained just yesterday amen but I will stand before you tonight and those watching us on YouTube and Facebook around the world and I will tell you without one reservation that someone has stopped the rain the saddest thing to watch in today's Church world I grew up in a different Church age than some of you did I grew up in what we call the good old days I grew up in churches where church was everything not once in a while thing I grew up in a church where we didn't know the meaning of asking are we going to church tonight if there was church buddy we was going I grew up in a church world where when you walk through the door the power of God the rain oh Hallelujah was already in the building I grew up in a church where your clothes didn't matter your prestige your income did not matter What mattered was your love for God and your ability to worship and praise him in unity with all of the church that's the church I grew up in the church I grew up in when the man of God opened the book holy reverence fell over the building when the man of God stood in the sacred desk his words was life or death to us it was life to the Saint and death to the sinner it was a a power that caused conviction to come into our lives Monday through Sunday we served God hard in the church that I grew up in where the rain was falling but somebody has stopped the rain oh my my my I grew up in a church where when you were sick you didn't call the church to tell them you wern't going to be there because you were sick you went to church because you were sick why we used to see the sick heal y'all ain't going to say nothing are you that I'm just talking about the church I grew up in that's all the church I grew up in there was none of these happy clappy songs it was songs from the heart it was songs that came from so deep we used to sing on top of Mount Zion is a city and the Earth with its Glory it do fill I shall look upon its beauty in the morning when I reach that City on the hill we sang about heaven because in those days that's all we knew we just wanted to be wherever God was when I walked in the church as a young boy we had the power of God from the beginning of the service to the end of the service I would watch people Bound by evil spirits run to the altar there were no altar calls heartley when I was a boy there was somebody singing a song and somebody would come running down and hit an altar in convicting power that's when the rain was falling in the Churches of God across the world but something has happened to the rain tonight I want to know who stopped the rain I'm going to give you the answer from your Bible in just a moment but before I do I want you to understand the saddest thing to watch in today's Church in the church I grew up in you know what we could not wait I remember as a young boy we could not wait to pay our tithe to the church we just couldn't wait to bring an offering give it to the Lord now if you mention an offering everyone gets mad and wants to quit and there's a reason for that cuz you can't preach on holy things unless there's holy rain falling in the building the saddest thing to watch in today's church is the lack of rain signs wonders Miracles let me tell you this tonight and you hear me well if the god you serve is not a miracle working God you're not serving the god of the Bible somebody said brother Von Miracles are not far today then God is not far today is anybody here tonight [Applause] if Miracles are not for today then God is not for today because he said I'm the same yesterday today and forever the reason we have to say Miracles are not for today is because there's no rain in the building and therefore we make an excuse for the there being no rain well God just don't move like you used to then you can have that God did you hear me you can have that God because the Yahweh of Israel the Jehovah of Israel everywhere he showed up either a Red Sea parted or somebody got up from the dead right I don't know the god you serve but the one I serve said whatever you pass in my name it shall be done but in today's Church there's a drought of the spirit of God now I want you to know I'm fixing to preach tonight some things and you might be brother Von that don't apply to us remember I preach to a camera that goes around the world as much as I do to this local assembly so I'm going to say some things tonight for the church World At Large there is a drought of the spirit of God in the Church of God there's got to be a reason for it there is we're going to get to it tonight there's got to be a reason that uh we are replacing the real with the fake the replacement of the glory cloud with smoke machines that create clouds that's right the replacement of the the the sound of praise with the sound of hyped up music now why because everybody knows what I'm preaching and nobody will say it it's dead there's a drought from one end of God's Church to the other there's a drought I'm telling you when you look on the platform and see the things you see today there's a drought of Holiness there's a drought of spirit there's a drought of the word there's a drought of rain who stopped the rain saddest thing is to see them replacing the light of Revelation with the strobe lights God we've got to dress the church up now because there ain't nothing to offer but a show now oh wow come on Church everywhere I look I see I see they've got the most beautiful Graphics you've ever seen in your life on these platforms today strobe lights from the right to the left four drum sets 12 organs 15 guitars long haired men shired women they got everything in the world okay now I'm going back to my roots now I felt that Hallelujah listen they got everything in the world everything in the world but what what they need the rain and because they don't have the rain we must create something that sounds like rain even though it's no rain in it brother V if we're not going to have rain let's at least create the sound of a thunderstorm somebody play the music louder oh honey let me tell you something you'll never be able to replace the sound of my grandmother mother praying in a prayer room before church with no amount of music no drums no organ no YouTube video there's a rain there's a drought in God's [Applause] Church woo I'm sorry if you want me to accept what you call church today everywhere I go if I go to visit a church you would you would be surprised to see how they look at me when the service starts and I begin to dance before the Lord I don't care what church Baptist pent Catholic I if you going to have church I'm going to be dancing because it's a commandment don't come into my presence without dancing the Lord said you know that's a commandment in your Bible not a suggestion the Bible said Psalms 150 come into my presence the way I tell you to don't come in [Music] Dragon don't come in telling me what went wrong today don't he said come into my presence with Thanksgiving come with your hands raised he said raise your hands clap your hands He said Come Dancing before me don't bring me an offering of your problem bring me an offering of your praise Hallelujah me an offering of your problem you're telling me I can't handle your problem but when you praise me you make me bigger than your problems I Don't Dance because I feel like it I'm fat you think I feel like dancing especially when Kent plays that fourth song in a row my God have mercy I get through the first two just fine but son on that third and fourth song My Little leg now you if y'all ever see me come lean and Dad that's what's going on I'm out of energy but I do it because God loves it God loves it so we must understand tonight we cannot remanufacture the fake and call it the real the question tonight is where has the rain go why are the heavens brass when the rain is gone that's a sign from God I said let me tell you I read you three verses tonight what God does when he tries to get his people's attention he stops the rain never fails B fromont to back when God is angry at the condition of his people the first thing he does is stop the rain he turns the Heavens in the brass to where you can get people down there and try to pray for them with a headache you can't even heal a headache why because if God let you keep carrying on thinking that he's moving in your midst you'll never repent oh Hallelujah the ministry of Elijah what did he do in that verse what did Elijah do the man of God the prophet of God he said the Lord God of Israel says to you there's not going to be any rain for several years doesn't mean the rain's not coming back but there's going to be a period in the house of Israel anybody want to tell me who the church is the house of Israel he said there's going to be a period in the house of Israel where you're going to ask your neighbor in the church reckon where the rain went oh it's Wrecking what happened to the Rain where did it go Elijah was a hero of the faith and I want to talk to you a little bit about Heroes of Faith tonight what turns a man into a hero I'm going to tell you tonight where the rain went is where we go what turns a normal man into a hero I'll tell you what it is they take a stand Heroes take stands a hero is somebody that overcomes their confusion between two opinions oh Hallelujah a hero is somebody that might see a child drowning in the water and and one part of his mind says you you might kill yourself if you jump in there the other side said it's the right thing to do the moment you take a stand for the right thing to do is the moment a Mor M man turns into a hero when you quit altering between two opinions when you quit living in the world in the church when you take a stand for God you turn yourself into a hero of the Faith nobody remembers men that don't take stands General MacArthur took a stand men that become Heroes take stands on the side of the right they lose their confusion between who's right who's wrong what's right what's wrong they say I'm done altering between all of these different ways of thinking I'm going to take a stand the people of God that's in this room tonight we are nearing the borders of Eternity the whole universe is watching the closing chapters of this story that between God and man there's never been a time when the angels of heaven are watching more intently for a few Heroes of the faith those that will take a stand for holiness and righteousness Heaven is watching in this assembly tonight at a room full of Heroes listen to me I don't care what the world thinks about you Heaven is begging for some Heroes some people that will go into the phone booth of prayer like Clark Kent and come out with the power of prayer like a Superman God is looking for Heroes to rise up in the world [Applause] today All Through the Ages God has had Heroes they don't look like the world's vision of a hero their capes are prayer shs their strength is silence their power is prayer their recognition comes from heaven and not from man Chances Are Tonight who you consider a success in this world is a failure in heaven whoever you consider to be a success in this world nine times out of 10 they're a failure in heaven because heaven doesn't see success like we do heaven sees success as taking a stand for the right yes churches that we are in awe of we look at the buildings we look at the choir we look at the the we look at we were just we stand there and all possibly find themselves in the disgust of Heaven because if you God said if you're not worshiping me in spirit and truth I don't want anything you have to offer me we must be very careful that we understand that a preacher or a church that does not give a certain sound it's giving a confusing sound the sound of the church must have no shadow of turning in it it must still be Holiness or hell it must still be right or wrong light or dark wrong or unclean our sound must be certain or we're damaging more souls than we've ever helped the way of Holiness is scorned by the church at large the way of obedience they criticize it the way of the Cross is despised and rejected but what made men like Daniel and Elijah what made them Heroes to God oh you think it's because they lived a perfect life huh you think it's because they made all the right choices no because Elijah ran from Jezebel that was a wrong choice wasn't it yeah many people in God's word are considered Heroes and they look nothing like you think they should look 1 Peter chap 2 verse 9 I'm going to show you what God thinks about these Heroes and I'm going to show you how they can help bring back the rain but you are a chosen generation a royal priesthood a holy nation A peculiar people I want you to remember that word peculiar people you know what makes you a hero before God when you're no longer ashamed to acknowledge yourself as peculiar thank you Lord that's the moment you become a hero to God when you're willing to acknowledge that you as strange as they come to the world when you're okay with the fact that you're not cool and you're not really welcome at the party when you become okay see the second trait of an overcomer is the ability to overcome rejection for being peculiar to God when you can be rejected and just accept the fact that your mama your children your neighbors are never going to understand you until you can get to the point where you can accept that fact that you're peculiar you're a strange one when you can accept that you are getting ready to take a stand for God's word listen to me tonight God is Not Looking for children he's looking for what Sons he's not looking for believers he's looking for what Overcomers he's not looking for just make Believers you got three types of Believers True Believers false Believers and make Believers choose today whether you're going to be a True Believer a non-believer or a make believer the whole church at large is make Believers oh yeah they don't obey this word they go to church but they don't obey the word of God that's make Believers one day will come when you will have to decide whether be a True Believer a non-believer or a make believer you know if you're robbing God of his tithes you're a make believer you know if you're not keeping God's Sabbath and keeping his days holy you're a make believer you know if you're not obeying his word love your neighbor as much as you love yourself you're a make believer but Heroes of the faith wake up one day and here's what they say I'm tired of being in the middle I want to be a hero of Faith heroes are born when they make up their mind they're going all the way to the right Hallelujah woo all the way to the right no shadow of turning play Church long enough I'm either getting all the way in or we're going all the way out why because God begging for some Heroes that'll choose where they're going to stand with God but now brother Von what makes me peculiar is there a Bible definition for peculiar there is it's over there in Deuteronomy 26 and18 look at your screen Deuteronomy 26 and18 when you make up your mind to become a peculiar person brother Thomas and Yahweh has vowed this day for you to be his peculiar people as he has promised thee and what is it that's going to make you peculiar that you should keep all his [Music] Commandments I want to talk to you about Commandments real quick do you know that these are not the only Commandments these are the Big 10 right then you've got some more all through the Old Testament then you've got some that Yesa Jesus gave then you got some that the appointed Paul say Paul say I command not I but the the Lord you that's a commandment and you know where else Commandments come from every day when you talk to God he's going to give you a commandment every day for your life if you're a peculiar person you're going to choose brother Tom brother Allan you're going to choose to live by all of God's Commandments then you're going to transition brother Allan from just Allan Morgan to a hero in the eyes of God I don't know about you tonight but I don't want to be a man men die Heroes live on forever go look back at the men of God that touch your life that are dead and gone they're not dead you know why they chose to go all the way with God and they impress that upon the Next Generation behind them that made them live on through you Heroes live on because they take a stand for the right the work of the heroes is to be faithful to God and tonight I want to talk to you about my favorite hero in the Bible my favorite one besides Yeshua Jesus Christ besides him I have a personal favorite uh some folks say that uh I just I I preach on this man more than I do anybody in the Bible except Jesus he is my favorite hero I'm sure you have yours I have mine and his name is I could let you guess if you wanted to Elijah Elijah is my favorite hero of God and tonight we're going to talk about Elijah as we talk about the rain First Kings chapter 18 and I'd like for you to turn there in your Bible First Kings 18 19-40 now why is Elijah my favorite because Elijah brought back the rain Hallelujah glory to God now there's a story here and we are not going to read it tonight but I just wanted you to turn there so that you can sort of follow me through this story if you want to and uh in this chapter in those verses all the way through verse 40 Elijah comes up to King Ahab and Elijah said King Ahab I want you to gather together all of Israel now before I tell you that part of the story remember that Israel is now in a famine all of the things that happened in the Old Testament they repeat themselves over and over in the lives of God's Israel God's church so when I'm reading this story to you tonight about Elijah and Israel don't be carnal and think I'm talking about a man and a nation cuz even though we're going to use that story God repeats these stories over and over and over in the lives of his people do you know why that the Bible has no part two have you ever wondered how a book 6,000 4,000 years old can be relevant in your life you ever wondered you know other books even encyclopedias have to get updated right why not the Bible why don't God have to ever because after all we're not living in those days anymore we're we're so far Advanced those don't even apply to us really I'll tell you why God never had to rewrite his Bible because there's two things that never change God and man God never changes in his faithfulness the way he does things God never changes he's the same right all the time so therefore we don't have to we don't have to add anything about God to the Bible he he's the same you remember the story of David you can apply that to your life the same God that helped him destroy Goliath will destroy your Goliath same thing right well guess what man never quits being rebellious does he so therefore no need to update because man don't update man's always rebellious to God the church backslides Israel had backslid in in this story and the Prophet Elijah told them before they backslid cuz they were starting to mess around with the world he said in that verse we started off in tonight he said if you don't repent God's going to shut the windows of Heaven over his church not over the world only Israel I see that's the problem we don't understand when we see the world being blessed why the church seems to be in a drought because Jud judement [Music] begins brother V why is the bingo hall full the church is empty I'm going to tell you why the rain has [Music] disappeared see nobody wants to hear this they want another preacher to come up here and lie to him and tell them God's moving all over the world let me tell you something all I got to say is look [Music] around oh God's pouring his Spirit out everywhere show me where oh yeah you got some big churches they keep it going because they got a lot of people and they can make it look like God's moving but but what about Waveland Mississippi where's where's our Revival where's where's Revival where where's anybody get the Holy Ghost in Waveland Bay St Louis anybody want to tell me where then don't tell me to quit being discouraging CU I'm telling you the truth somebody stop the rain Elijah said if you don't repent and obey God all the way God's going to cut off them Miracles that outpouring that what you love God's going to shut it down so when we get to this chapter 18 King Ahab they've been in a drought for three and a half years now in Israel in the church they've been in a drought for three and a half years everybody in Israel hates Elijah as a matter of fact when Elijah God told him get out of Israel cuz I'm sending a drought he sent him down by the book Brook Kidron God fed him by the Brook and then when the brook dried up God sent him to the wiow to feed him all this time God sustaining his prophit but his church is dying up why because they did not want to obey the word they wanted to have church and here comes Elijah in chapter 18 to King Ahab and King Ahab has arrest warrants all over Judea for Elijah why because he thought Elijah brought the drought because Elijah said there's going to be no rain three and a half years been no rain so what does the church always do get mad at the preacher that's blame the preacher for no Revival blame the pastor for no Revival blame Elijah for no rain Elijah told them if you will repent God won't do this to you so here he comes and Ahab meets Elijah out in the wilderness and Elijah stood before me and said King Ahab in the morning and when King Ahab saw Elijah you know the first thing he said to Elijah are you the one that troubleth Israel why because anytime a man of God comes preaching truth you'll call him a troublemaker he thought Elijah had brought the trouble on the church but the reason the trouble came on the church is because they rejected Elijah that's right it's so deep right I don't know if you know how deep it is right now and here what God's trying to speak to us the curse Came Upon the church because when Elijah brought his message of The Commandments of God they kicked Elijah out of Israel and called him a troublemaker causing trouble instead of bringing Unity to the church he was up there telling them what they were doing was wrong so when the king King saww Elijah are you the Troublemaker let me tell you if you're going to be an overcomer with God you'll be a troublemaker when you ain't even trying to be one than every room you walk in where sin is prevalent you'll cause everybody to get so uncomfortable in your presence they'll be ready for you to get out of their Christmas party every time you walk into sin you'll be a troublemaker you ain't even trying to be one you just want sming some of you visiting I don't want to my cousin invited us out to eat the other day and we're sitting there eating I never said a word he offered to buy me a big plate of shrimp and things like that you know we personally don't eat a lot of that food and so I never said a word I was I was eating the corn out of the shrimp boil because we don't eat the unclean food and so I'm sitting there eating the corn and uh he looks at me and he says eat this shrimp I was like I just don't want any right now and he said uh well I I I was making trouble and I wasn't even trying to make no trouble I'm eating my corn but I'm different when you're different you're trouble don't get me started when you're different you're trouble King Ahab told Elijah you're the one that keeps troubling Israel the Real Men of God are never invited to preach in the church remember that Israel wasn't sending no invitations to Elijah to come preach no he was the only man of God in the country but they thought he was a Troublemaker because a drought came on the church let me tell you when that drought came when they heard his message and said we don't want to hear it he said for three years there'll be no well no he didn't say he said until I shake so there won't be no rain so King Ahab I want you to go to marrow King Ahab meet me in the morning at Mount Carmel and I want you to get all the church together all of Israel and I want you to bring them to the mountain and then I want you to go get your Pagan preachers 450 of them that has taken over the house of God with their paganism oh my my my my my the ones that are lying to God's [Music] church I want you to bring them preachers there tomorrow too y'all think I'm making this up it's all in that story he Saidi want you to go down to the church which is Israel and get every preacher down there because Israel was now going to the Church of the halfway Pagan preachers called prophets of the son they worship the son instead of Yahweh and now Israel was bringing the way they like to have church they were still dancing and shouting but they was doing it worshiping the sun I y'all don't get me a started I ain't going to go there you can be don't get uncomfortable we're not going to talk about the day of the Sun and all of that but these priest they took over God's church and Ahab when you bring them bring Jezebel with you King Ahab said all right we'll meet you there in the morning so the word went out all over the church and here's what they said they started texting each other in inboxing each other they started calling each other said hey did you hear Brother Elijah is going to be preaching tomorrow y'all better not come but they said we had to come old brother old brother Elijah's preaching in the morning over there on Mount Carmel and he wants the whole church to come you already know what he's going to be saying it ain't going to be good and I can imagine them saying this on their way to hear Elijah that morning I just wish he would preach something inspirational once in a while I'd like to leave church feeling good sometime I'd love to just hear how much God loves me not how much I need to love [Music] God I just like to know I'm going to get that Cadillac next week when I go for my loan maybe he could prophesy it over me that's all the church wants today that's why God don't have to update his Bible we are Israel do you not understand they didn't want to hear Elijah they love Jezebel they love their new preachers I'm trying to tell you what happened to the rain that's where we started that's where we're going to end up they loveed and so this morning Elijah wakes up early and then preachers wake up early King Ahab wakes up early those preachers are putting on their finest regalia their headwear and their robes the king is putting on his crown and his breastplate his sword it's going to be a day like you've never seen over at the church here they come Elijah wakes up with nobody to give him a little support nobody inboxing him saying Oh Brother Elijah we're behind you nobody telling him we know you're heard from God and we we we we're supporting you no matter what he didn't have nobody the Bible said he was out there in the wilderness alone with God one of the traits of an overcomer is your ability to love loneliness oh woo if you're going to be an overcomer you better learn how to love loneliness because this walk is a walk only for the lonely oh it's only for the that can still be preaching when everybody walks away can still be keeping the church doors open like Mama and Daddy did here for many months when nobody walked through them you better have a backbone of Steel if you're going to be in the Elijah company of this generation he woke up Sister Justin nobody there to support him he puts on his little rag tag cloak and he walks down to the church now why did he choose Mount Carmel some of y'all I know he's falling asleep but I'm goingon to get to my point in a moment I never had nobody fall asleep on me while I preach I'm too late loud he said in the morning when we come down there I want you to bring everybody to a certain place called Mount Carmel you know why I brought him to Mount Carmel and not somewhere else because Mount Carmel was the most beautiful mountain at one time in Israel Mount Carmel they had streams of water it was like the Garden of Eden full of foliage but 3 years later because of the rain the drought there was nothing on Mount Carmel anymore no water no foliage you know why he brought them to Mount Carmel he wanted them to see what they had before they traded it in for fake church he wanted them to remember the prayer meetings of yesterday on Mount Caramel he wanted them to remember the laying on of hands where Miracles were done on Mount Carmel please come into the spirit with me I'm not talking about a place in Israel right now I'm talking about this Israel he wanted them to look at what the church used to be and look around and admit to themselves something's wrong yes he wanted them to walk up the beautiful Mount Carmel that old Apostolic Holy Ghost Field church and look in and see no [Music] rain still got the PA system we still singing the songs we still but but something what where's the rain they walked up to Mount Carmel all the way they were worried to death because Elijah was preaching that morning they knew it wasn't going to be good and sure enough they come up to the mountain and when they get there they've all assembled and they're intimidating to Elijah the preachers have on their robes that's intimidating to Elijah they want Elijah to think because there's more of them oh my God that they are right and he's wrong they want Elijah to think because they're coming in a great organization of men that they're right and how could he be right against all of the preachers here they come to try to show Elijah he ought to just shut up causing trouble and just join the ranks there some men wouldn't made for that and here they come the king pulls up in his Chariot to impress Elijah but there's some men not impressed if you've got a television Ministry or a satellite Ministry or what a church 50 Mi long there's some men that know the word of God and they're not impressed with how you've twisted it come on to church brother Elijah's preaching here the king comes and they walk up to Mount Caramel and when they get to that mountain they hated Elijah but they're all remembering the three and a half years when Elijah told them they'll be no more rain for three years now as they're walking up even though they hate him see there's something about somebody that has an Elijah Ministry you will hate them and yet tell everybody how they're a prophet of God oh yeah she her name's Jezebel they hated Elijah but remembered he was a prophet they was remembering the reason Mount Carmel has no life on it is he prophesied it but yet they still hate him that's the church hating the man of God the one that brought them the truth and here they come up to the mountain a great blindness has happened to them Elijah stands alone and he looks at that Mountain sister Justina and let me tell you what he saw he saw a broken down altar of Yahweh I'm going to show you what happened to the Rain the church used to have an altar in it he walked on that into that church building Mount Carmel that day and he saw that they had their B ERS in their hands they had the PA system they had the cameras they had the pit they had they had a nice P he sees all of this on Mount Carmel but he looks and he sees an old altar that was built to Yahweh the god of Israel and it was broken down by the Pagan preachers and he sees an old broken altar and he looks to the left and he sees a bright new shiny altar to the goddess Ishtar which is where we get Easter from he saw the goddess ishar with her Pagan preachers had built her a new way of worshiping in God's holy church called Israel oh my my I told you I'm going to tell you where the rain went he looked at that and you can read this all in the he saw that altar that fake worship that fake worship you know what God Said in his word I never one time asked you to worship me did you know God said that I don't have the scripture right now but I'll get it for you he told Jeremiah to tell the people I never desired sacrifices or offerings which is what worship he said because obedience is better than worship oh brother V come to our church we have the best worship team you've ever seen it means nothing to God obedience to his holy and circumspectly before him if you're deaf and dumb and you can't say hallelujah your obedience says hallelujah and every time you obey God wo tonight you're saying Hallelujah by being in the presence of the Lord you didn't have to do it but you did he looked at that Altar and it was broken down it had been replaced by the worship of the Queen of Heaven Ishtar oh I want to get on that so bad y know I do oh but he raises his voice well like a trumpet the Bible said Elijah standing there looking and he lifts his voice and here's what Elijah says I love what he says he says it with and show up and act like you're part of his church how long do you want to linger between the altar of Yahweh and the altar of Ishtar how long you want to do this because if you don't learn anything about your God you better learn this he is a jealous God when you halt between two opinions you bring the curse on your family and your church when the church halts between two opinions they stop the rain in the church and this is what's happened to the church all over the world that's why we've been in a drought because they're halting but between two opinions listen to me if you're not going to walk in obedience then walk away somebody said brother V let people let people just be comfortable and let them choose how they want to live for God and I told them I wished I could but you see there's a problem I'm a preacher that's right I'm not a talker I'm not a Jo all I'm anyway I'm not a talker I'm a preacher and my job is never to make you comfortable it's to get the rain falling on your house and in our church you got to decide some of you have been toide and I've been watching you some of you have been inching your way further and further away from the altars of isar but he said Israel how long will you halter back and forth that was his first question that and it it echoed over Mount Carmel there was a deathly silence and here's the scariest part are you ready here's the scariest part of what happened that day the Bible says in one of those verses and the people answered him not a word there was no amen Elijah trust me I know how he feels there was no Amen brother Elijah Israel how long you going to play with God and paganism the Bible said the people answered him not a word not one word nobody raised their hand and said I'm ready nobody came to the altar call nobody even though there had been no rain men are so rebellious they won't even look at what stopped the rain and know why it's not raining a great blindness had fallen upon Israel it didn't happen overnight sister Justina it happened gradually all they did was went and visited the Church of istar they didn't mean to worship her they just started hanging around with some of her people they just started it didn't happen overnight they just started telling Elijah we need to try to get along with them and try to maybe all get into Unity with them [Music] oh maybe Elijah maybe I tell you what they're not bad people why are you so hard on them Elijah you know they they love their family they love God so just just just be a little bit sweeter Elijah that's how it starts you just said it just what brother V how yall know how many people's told me just brother V if you would just tone it down we could fill this church up let me tell you something what we're going to fill it up with I don't want one of them that's right we had that one time we filled it up with a bunch of Jezebels running around let me tell you something when you're preaching truth it will make sure that you only trust oh let me tell you about truth it puts a guard up at the door that's right it tells everybody don't go they're trying to take over that church it ain't going to happen why because them people are strange they've chosen to go all the way to the right and do this thing by the book wo that's what happened to Israel they just wanted to get along with everybody brother V our doctrines are they really that important one God baptism in his name why don't you know that's sweet little people over there that don't believe it like that I know they do I know they do and I love every one of them but I ain't got a fellowship with one of them that's right the Bible said what Fellowship does light have with darkness when you start fellowshipping you'll start commit adultery with who you're fellowshipping with men you ain't got no business fellowshipping at the house next door for long you'll be with a man's wife that's what happened to God Church she want to fellowship with era the era of baale God's people don't like this kind of preaching they don't like strong preaching why because it offends people I would rather go to heaven offended than to Hell happy I hope you heard what I said Elijah they wouldn't answer him one word I want you to hear that silence when Elijah asked him how long will you Halt and nobody said a word I just want you to hear that silence to the man of God after three and a half years of playing Church there's no rain no power you would think somebody would be willing to repent but to repent they would have to acknowledge that God sent a man to them that they rejected named Elijah and pride won't let see see pride won't let that happen Pride's greater than the power of God I hope you heard me you don't believe what I'm telling you the Bible said you make the word of God of no effect because of your pride the word of God the word of God can't even break through your pride no not until you surrender till you repent and say Lord I will I'll do it your way from here on out and then finally he tells if God if Yahweh be God let serve him now notice what's about to happen he's about to have the greatest Revival in the church history notice this carefully he finally gets them to say the church It is Well Spoken they said if Eli if God sends fire we'll serve God what does that mean that means everybody in Israel was fixing to repent what does that call Revival Elijah was standing on the precipice of the greatest Revival Israel had ever known where everybody was going to repent they all agreed if God Answers by fire we'll all turn and serve him completely and sure enough you know the rest of the story I don't have to tell you what happened you know that God sent fire and all of Israel fell on their face the Bible said and they begin to repent before God for their era and then Elijah tells the church listen to what he tells them he turns to the false prophets of Baal and he tells the church the church go kill them as long as the church is comfortable plating error she will continue with without the rain there stands 450 preachers that had been preaching in Israel and though voice of Elijah come against every one of them and told the church have you why did he tell them to kill them because repentance is not saying I'm sorry it's proven you're sorry go kill the ones that lied to you and brought you into this deception I know people don't like when I talk like that because we're not comfortable with that God we like Jesus better in the New Testament let me tell you something the God I serve never changes if he made them destroy the false prophets he's going to make you destroy false prophets out of your life he's going to make you kill every false teaching every false error every false Doctrine everything that told you you could live for God halfway he's going to tell you now destroy that voice it wasn't about killing them preachers it was about killing their message l yes destroy the lies they represented the lies in your life with God you're going to hear these voices tell you God don't require all that you're going to hear these voices tell you you know God loves me as I Am Without One Plea God don't really need me to do all that that's the prophets of Baal what are you going to do with them they're always calling you over and the moment they killed them false prophets Elijah got down on one knee and took those stones of that altar of Yahweh that had been broken down and started building that altar back it was a symbol of dedication of God's people all over the world and those that's hearing me tonight God wants to send Revival he wants to send rain into your family into your homes but now Israel understood why and this is my conclusion don't lose this part now Israel understood why mean oh God had sent a drought because had he continued blessing them while they were in the temple of false worship they would have thought they were okay with God but when you look at our churches and you don't see a move of God that is the love of God H hu hallu hallelujah oh Hallelujah Hallelujah that is the love of God when God shuts the show down and he says find the prayer room find the altar been dealing with you and showing you things in my word I had been showing you things in my word that didn't line up with what you were seeing God said I've dealt with you as a family to come out of Babylon I've been calling you out for three years you started getting very uncomfortable three years ago because the voice of the Lord began dealing with both of you and the places that you have been nearly losing everything has been because God said I was forcing you to stop running from me and to run to me my blessings are ready to overtake your life God said I'm calling you tonight to surrender
