A WITNESS FROM THE GRAVE The Frankfurt Silver Amulet 1,800-Year-Old Proof of the Original Faith A Bible Study Presentation by Rev. John Shane Vaughn First Harvest Ministries International "For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known." — Luke 12:2 PART ONE: THE DISCOVERY The Grave In 2018, archaeologists were excavating a Roman-era cemetery in Frankfurt-Praunheim, Germany — the site of the ancient Roman city of NIDA. They uncovered 127 graves. But one grave stood out: GRAVE 134. Inside was the skeleton of a man, aged 35-45 at death. He had been buried between 230-270 AD — nearly 1,800 years ago. The most significant find was under his chin — a small silver amulet he had worn on a cord around his neck. The Amulet The silver capsule was only 3.5 centimeters (about 1.4 inches) in size. Inside was a thin, rolled-up silver foil with writing on it. The problem: The foil was so fragile that unrolling it would destroy it. For six years, no one could read what was written inside. The Breakthrough (2024) In May 2024, researchers at the Leibniz Center for Archaeology used high-resolution CT scanning to digitally 'unroll' the foil without touching it. For the first time in 1,800 years, the inscription could be read: 18 lines of Latin text. What it said shocked the academic world. PART TWO: THE INSCRIPTION The Original Latin [In nomine] Sancti Titi. Agios, agios, agios! In nomine IESU CHRISTI, FILII DEI! Dominus mundi resistit pro viribus [omnes impetus]. Deus aditum salutis concedit. ...quoniam ante IESUM CHRISTUM omne genu flectitur: CAELESTIUM, TERRESTRIUM et INFERNORUM, et omnis lingua confitetur... The Translation "[In the name] of Saint Titus. Holy, holy, holy! In the name of YAHSHUA the Messiah, SON OF GOD! The Lord of the world resists all attacks. God grants entry to salvation... since before YAHSHUA the Messiah every knee bows: THE HEAVENLY ONES, THE EARTHLY ONES, and THE SUBTERRANEAN ONES, and every tongue CONFESSES..." First Observation: 'IESU' — Not 'JESUS' Notice the spelling: IESU CHRISTI — not 'Jesus Christ.' There was NO LETTER 'J' in Latin. The 'J' wasn't invented until the 15th-16th century. The authentic Latin spelling proves the inscription is genuine. PART THREE: WHY THIS MATTERS 1. 'FILII DEI' — SON OF GOD The amulet confesses Yahshua as: 'FILII DEI' — SON OF GOD NOT: 'God the Son' • NOT: 'Second Person of the Trinity' • NOT: 'Co-equal with the Father' JUST: SON OF GOD. This is UNITARIAN language — the exact Christology we teach at First Harvest. This man carried the ORIGINAL faith to his grave. 2. SAINT TITUS — The Pauline Connection The amulet begins: 'In nomine Sancti Titi' — 'In the name of Saint Titus.' Who was Titus? Paul's disciple and companion • A GENTILE — uncircumcised Greek (Galatians 2:3) • Bishop of Crete • Proof that Gentiles could be part of the covenant WITHOUT becoming Jewish Titus represented the restoration of the 'far off' ones — the LOST TRIBES being brought back. 3. THE THREE REALMS — Universal Reconciliation The most powerful part quotes Philippians 2:10-11: "...since before YAHSHUA the Messiah every knee bows: CAELESTIUM, TERRESTRIUM et INFERNORUM, and every tongue CONFESSES..." He carried it to his grave. He wore it around his neck. He trusted it to protect him. And now, 1,800 years later, his witness speaks. When you confess that Yahshua is the SON OF GOD... when you believe that YAHWEH alone is the one true God... when you hold to the hope that ALL CREATION will bow and confess... You are not believing something new. You are standing in the MESSIAH'S LINE. CONCLUSION A man we will never know by name... in a city that no longer exists... carried a small silver amulet around his neck. On it was written the confession of his faith: "In the name of YAHSHUA the Messiah, SON OF GOD... since before YAHSHUA the Messiah every knee bows: THE HEAVENLY, THE EARTHLY, and THE INFERNAL, and every tongue CONFESSES." He died. He was buried. The world forgot him. But YAHWEH didn't forget. 1,800 years later, technology revealed what had been hidden. And his witness speaks to US — tonight.
