Consumer prices didn't just rise slower — they FELL. Four-tenths of a percent in a single month — the biggest one-month drop since April of 2020 — led by energy and gasoline falling off a cliff. And I want to plead with you — as one human being to another — can we PLEASE return to civility? To respect? To a genteel society? There is an unwritten rule older than this Republic — you do not speak evil of the dead. You always find something good to say. And I long for that world again. I will NEVER allow politics to make any PERSON my enemy. Their ideology — yes. Their policies — yes. Now Chairman Chuck Grassley has the receipts. DOJ records — released by the Senate Judiciary Committee itself — confirm that Jack Smith's investigative team secretly reviewed the CONTENTS of the text messages of FORTY-FOUR members of Congress. Grassley says he is ONE of the 44. “I received records from DOJ confirming Jack Smith's investigative team reviewed the contents of text messages sent by 44 members of Congress. I'm one of the 44.” — Sen. Chuck Grassley And here's the knife. Jack Smith sat for a deposition last December and testified — under oath — that he did NOT request the contents of those texts. The records say otherwise. This all traces back to ‘Operation Arctic Frost’ — the Biden-DOJ probe that swept up Trump, Pence, the electors, and hundreds of Americans. Grassley called it a runaway train with no brakes — a team that ‘ran roughshod over the Constitution.’ And some Democrats got swept up too. LANE ONE — WHAT IS DEVELOPING The report: President Trump is expected to go PRIME TIME Thursday night — to reveal newly DECLASSIFIED intelligence alleging FOREIGN INTERFERENCE in the 2020 election. That was first reported by MS NOW citing White House officials — and it's been picked up by CNBC, the Washington Times, the Daily Wire, and others, some reporting he'll point to voting-machine vulnerabilities. LANE TWO — WHAT IS CONFIRMED (THE DICTATOR IN THE CELL) [ SHOW GRAPHIC: MADURO IN U.S. CUSTODY → TIMELINE: JAN 2026 CAPTURE → JULY ADDRESS ] Now here is what is NOT speculation. This is FACT. Back in January of this year, United States forces captured the Venezuelan strongman Nicolás Maduro — in Caracas — and he is right now sitting in a jail cell on American soil in New York. Confirmed by PBS, CBS News, Naval Institute News, even the British Parliament's own library. And that raises the question the whole internet is asking — MADURO. Why capture him ALIVE, and fly him to New York — when a strike could have ended it? You don't go to all that trouble to KILL a man. You go to that trouble when you want a man to TALK. LANE THREE — THE NATIONAL ELECTION EMERGENCY Now here is the BIG one. The one that could change everything. Because the commentator Wayne Allyn Root — a man who has interviewed this President sixteen times — is reporting that Thursday night's address may be the opening move toward President Trump declaring a NATIONAL SECURITY EMERGENCY FOR ELECTIONS. Stop and let that land, Toto-Town. Not an executive order. Not another bill dying a slow death in the Senate. A NATIONAL EMERGENCY — on the integrity of American elections themselves. And here is what Root says goes INSIDE it. Everything the SAVE Act fought for — and more. Voter ID. Proof of citizenship. Severe limits on mail- in ballots. An end to the hackable voting machines. Paper ballots. And no counting of ballots for days and days past Election Day. The whole enchilada — in ONE stroke of the pen. Now WHY can he do this — and why can't they stop him? This is the master key, so listen close. It goes back to a 1983 Supreme Court ruling — INS versus Chadha — and it is a GAME-CHANGER. Before Chadha, Congress could cancel a President's national emergency with a simple resolution. Snap of the fingers — done. After Chadha? That is GONE. To undo a presidential emergency now, Congress needs a two-thirds override — in BOTH chambers. The House AND the Senate. Two-thirds. Nancy Pelosi couldn't get it. Chuck Schumer can't get it. It is mathematically IMPOSSIBLE for the Democrats to reach it. Which means the moment that pen touches the paper — Congress is CONGRESS-PROOFED. Root nailed it. That ruling has been sitting in the books since 1983 while the GOP Senate fumbled the SAVE Act for eighteen months. Now the lawyers will scream. They'll run to the courts. Let them. Because here's the beauty of an emergency declaration — while they're still filing their paperwork, the order is already IN EFFECT. Trump acts NOW. Marc Elias chases him for a year. There is no Independent quarterback standing behind center. There is no Independent movement with the votes, the organization, the infrastructure, the power to govern this country. In America there is a RED side and a BLUE side. That is the field. Those are the teams. That is how the game is played. So choose your side. Find your quarterback. Learn the play. Run the football where he tells you to run it. And when your quarterback takes a HIT — you do not run into the stands and announce how much smarter you are than the coach. You BLOCK. You DEFEND. You help move the ball. Donald Trump is not perfect. Neither are you. Neither am I. But perfection is not the requirement for leadership. The only question is whether he is moving the ball toward the goal line — or handing it to the opposing team. I voted for Donald Trump. I am a Republican. And I am NOT ashamed to cheer for the man carrying the football for my team. The demand for a perfect leader is not righteousness. It is SABOTAGE wearing a halo. The other side never asks for perfection. They asked nothing of Biden. Nothing of Harris. They marched behind whoever carried the ball — in LOCKSTEP — and they took the country while our side was busy holding a symposium on principle. So PICK A SIDE. Put on the jersey. Put on the cheerleader outfit if you have to. Cheer for your quarterback. Help your team win. Or take off the red jersey, walk across that field, and admit which side you were actually helping the whole time. Because while you're busy proving you ‘think for yourself’ — the other team is busy taking the country. That is not courage. That is not leadership. And it certainly is not teamwork. The free-thinking American, unconstrained by partisanship, judging every politician as an individual. Fair-minded. Mature. And here's what NO one says back to them. In a general election — that is exactly what a demagogue wants you to do. Because voting for ‘the person’ usually just means being distracted by personality. Like a woman falling for a serial killer's charms. Hold that picture, class — we'll come back to it. Now I'm not going to tell you how to vote. I lose all my charm the second I do that. So I'll just tell you how I vote — and why — and you can do with it what you will. PART 1 — THE ART OF THE POSSIBLE When people ask me how I could support this candidate or that one, my answer never changes. Otto von Bismarck said politics is ‘the art of the possible.’ Not the art of getting everything you want, a hundred percent, right now, no questions asked. The art of the POSSIBLE. And Ronald Reagan — a man nobody ever accused of lacking conviction — understood it cold. ‘I have always figured,’ he said, ‘that half a loaf is better than none. And in the democratic process, you're not always going to get what you want.’ That's not weakness, class. That's principle. Because holding to the truth that politics is the art of the possible IS an exercise of principle. And believe me, I can relate. However far outside the box you think I am — multiply it by ten. I'm Mayberry meets the Middle Ages. Which means no matter WHO wins an election, I never get even a decent slice of what I want. My ideal president? Would be ME. That's not happening. After that — an Alan Keyes, a Pat Buchanan. Not happening either. Maybe some third-party man polling a buck-fifty in the polls — he won't win. So what's actually POSSIBLE is the Republican or the Democrat. That's the board. That's the whole board. Come next January, either the GOP or the Democrats will run Congress. In 2029, a Republican or a Democrat will be president. Yes, once in a blue moon an independent breaks through — Jesse Ventura in Minnesota, 1998. But even then, the congressional independents almost always caucus with one of the two parties. Bernie Sanders caucuses with the Democrats. In practice — not in law — we have a two-party system. And a voter has to understand that to cast an informed ballot. Which brings me to the whole point: in a general election, the wise citizen votes for the PARTY, not the person. Why? Because the person will almost always vote with his party. PART 2 — THE RECEIPTS Don't believe me? Let's go to the tape. ▪ Liz Cheney — infamous for hating Donald Trump. She just HATES him, right? When she was in office, she voted WITH him 92.9 percent of the time. ▪ John Fetterman — the big maverick who'll tell the Democrat establishment what for. He votes WITH that establishment about 91 percent of the time. ▪ Susan Collins — the RINO, the Republican most likely to break ranks. She still votes with Trump 90 to 95 percent of the time. And you think Maine's going to elect somebody to the RIGHT of her? She's not just possible — she's probable. And these aren't outliers. In 2025, House Democrats voted with their party about 93 percent of the time; Senate Democrats around 92. House Republicans backed Trump about 95 percent; Senate Republicans about 96. So here's the bottom line, whether we admit it or not: we are ALWAYS voting for the party, not the person — because the person is just one more vote for the party's agenda. We just need to REALIZE it. (Now — you vote for the person in the PRIMARIES. That's when it matters. ) Which means you don't really need to memorize a candidate's positions. You need to know his PARTY's positions. Think of a general-election candidate as a TOOL that serves a purpose. Your only decision is whether to hand the Republicans or the Democrats one more tool for their shed — to go on building their world. PART 3 — THE THREE TRAPS THIS SAVES YOU FROM And this framing is precious, class, because it forestalls the emotionalism that clouds judgment and wrecks a good vote. It saves you from three deadly traps. Trap one — MARRYING a candidate. Idealize one, heroize one, and he will inevitably disappoint you — partly because politics is the art of the possible for HIM too. Then you're the jilted lover, angry, taking your ball and going home. Trap two — HATRED-INDUCED DERANGEMENT. A personality rubs you wrong, and it drives you to vote against your own country's interests. Ben Franklin warned you: ‘Passion governs, and she never governs wisely.’ Trap three — the fantasy of ‘teaching them a lesson’ by staying home or crossing over. It never works. You know what the GOP concludes after a lesson-loss? ‘We have to move farther LEFT to win.’ You teach a party a lesson in the PRIMARY — not by handing the country to the other side. Take a lesson from the Democratic Socialists — say what you will about them, they're disciplined enough to know victory comes by working through the institutions, gradually. Change in our republic is evolutionary, not revolutionary. Seven percent better this cycle. Eight percent next. Three after that. That perseverance is the ONLY thing that wins by the ballot. And the girl you brung? You dance with her till a better one shows up in the primary. PART 4 — ‘BUT BOTH SIDES ARE THE SAME!’ Now — I published this argument, and a man wrote back to call me a fool. ‘Professor,’ he said, ‘there is no game. Both teams are the same. It's a Uniparty. Same tables, same money, same wars on borrowed money. NAFTA was bipartisan. The debt is bipartisan. The betrayal is bipartisan. Pick a side? ’ Class — I'm going to prove him wrong. But not the way you think. Because FIRST, let me agree with him. Yes. There IS a Uniparty. I won't insult that man by pretending otherwise — he's watched this machine since Carter and earned his cynicism the hard way. A permanent class in Washington that never changes when the furniture changes. Red pins and blue pins at the same dinners. Same donors. Same wars, same borrowed money your grandchildren will pay back. All of it — TRUE. So how do I answer a man who's right? I don't. I hand him the PROOF. They both HATE the quarterback. A machine does not attack its own parts. Sit with that. They impeached this man TWICE. Indicted him. Raided his home. Tried to strike his name off the ballot state after state. Senators wearing his OWN colors voted to convict him. They never did that to Bush. Never to Romney. Never to McCain — those men got the courtesy you give a colleague at the club. Trump got the treatment you give an INTRUDER in the house. And that's the whole sermon. For thirty years that Uniparty ran a two-party country in ONE direction — red or blue, the ball went the same way, left and down. One man put the polarity BACK. Suddenly there was a RED and a BLUE again, pulling against each other. How can I tell? Because BOTH sides screamed. PART 5 — SO LET'S TRACE THE FOOTBALL My critic says the ball never moves — it's all theater, the yardage is fake. Fine. Then let's FIND the football. Because a field doesn't care about your theory. It doesn't care how corrupt the league is or how bought the officials are. A field knows one thing: where is the ball? We were backed up on our own goal line. Roe standing for fifty years. The border wide open. Our factories on a boat to China. Jerusalem — recognized in every speech and honored in none. That was first-and-goal AGAINST us. Then one man took the snap. Let's walk it down, play by play. FIRST PLAY — HE THREW DEEP He put three justices on the Supreme Court. And Roe versus Wade came DOWN. Fifty years — an estimated sixty-three million children, and that's the National Right to Life count. A precedent the priests of that Uniparty swore to your face was untouchable. Three of the five who ended it were HIS. Take away any ONE of them and Roe is still standing this morning. Now I'll give the devil his due — Bush put Alito on that Court, and Alito wrote the opinion; McConnell held the gate and blocked Garland for a year. Without those two men there is no Dobbs. But three of those five names are Trump's. That's not exclusive credit, class — that's INDISPENSABLE credit. And indispensable is the only kind that moves a ball. SECOND PLAY — HE BROKE THE LINE If my critic is right — if BOTH teams want that border open, want the cheap labor, want the serfs — then this is the play that could never work. So look at the film. The southwest border just recorded its quietest year since 1970. Not since the pandemic. Not since Obama. Since Richard NIXON was in the White House. Every month since he took the snap: under ten thousand. The machine had forty years to produce a month like that and never did. And catch-and-release — the beating heart of the cheap-labor operation, protected by BOTH teams for forty years — over a solid year of ZERO releases. That line doesn't move for a Uniparty. It only moves when somebody HITS it. THIRD PLAY — HE RAN IT BACK My critic staked his whole case on NAFTA. Fine — let's run that play back, because NAFTA is where OUR side fumbled. He told me it snuck through in the dead of night. Sir — that's not what happened, and the truth is WORSE. It passed November 17th, 1993, in broad daylight. Roll call 575. Two-thirty-four to two hundred. And look who carried it: 132 REPUBLICANS voted yes. Only 102 Democrats did. A Democrat president passed NAFTA on REPUBLICAN votes. You thought your best evidence was a bill sneaking through in the dark — it didn't sneak. Our OWN team carried it in on its shoulders. THAT is your Uniparty, on the record, with its name signed to it. You were right — you just underestimated it. And then nobody touched it for twenty-six years. Bush signed it. Clinton passed it. Bush kept it. Obama kept it. Four presidents, both parties, total silence. Then one man pried it open and wrote a SIXTEEN- dollar wage floor into the deal — the first wage rule ever written into an American trade agreement. Ross Perot's giant sucking sound finally got a number attached to it. FOURTH PLAY — THE ONE THEY CALLED IMPOSSIBLE Congress passed a law in 1995 ordering the embassy moved to Jerusalem. If you support most of that, the Democrats are FOR you — that's what they'll deliver. If it turns your stomach, the Republicans are your choice. It isn't complicated. Absorb the preacher-like persona. Go gaga over the country- boy act. It's all nonsense. Pretty or plain, charming or churlish, they vote in LOCKSTEP once they're in office. That's the serial killer's charm I told you to remember — the smile is the misdirection; the VOTE is the knife. PART 8 — WHERE THE PROFESSOR AND THE PASTOR BECOME ONE VOICE Now hear me — this is not tribalism. This is STEWARDSHIP. Sure, we'd all like better choices and better government. But for THAT, we must transform Americans' hearts and minds — because under representative government, politics cannot deliver what the culture won't allow. The November ballot is not Heaven versus Hell. But it is very much virtue versus vice. And YAHWEH is not fooled by a jersey. He does not weigh your team colors. He weighs your FRUIT.
