Pastor Shane Vaughn PREACHES LIVE -"The Restored Voice of the Victorious Bride" the power of PRAISE - YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jei-QxdD8xY Transcript: (00:01) Thou that dwellest in the gardens. Thank you, baby. The companions hearken to thy voice. Cause me to hear it. I I'm really going to preach to you tonight something God gave me at 7:30 this morning when I was asleep, minding my business. I'm not a morning person. I go on the air sometimes at midnight at night time. I'm a late person. (00:35) I'll be sending inbox messages to our church at 1:00 and 2:00 in the morning and they're all like, "What is he doing?" Now, if you've got a spiritual mind, I want to break this verse down for you. This is Yahweh. Now, if you're a visitor, Yahweh is the name of God, okay? So, don't be as confused. Yahweh is speaking here to a group of people. (01:05) And that group of people are people that dwell in the gardens. That group of people, Brother Will, is you and I. Or shall I say the bride of Christ. Hallelujah. The house of Israel. Listen to WHAT HE SAYS. YOU THAT DWELL IN THE GARDENS. The companions hearken to thy voice. Cause me to hear it. (01:43) Someone say, "Cause Cause me me to hear." to hear. Why would God need any help hearing? Why would he say, "Make me hear you. Now, remember this verse as we go to Psalms 103 and verse 20. And let's see if the Lord won't speak to us tonight. Psalms 103 and verse 20. Let's read it. Bless Yahweh, ye his angels that excel in strength, that do his commandments. (02:30) In other words, he's not talking about the fallen angels, the demonic spirits. He's talking about the faithful angels like Michael and Gabriel. He says, "YOU THAT DO HIS COMMANDMENTS, HEARKEN UNTO THE VOICE of his word." Two verses talking about the voice. THIS VOICE IS COMING FROM A GROUP OF PEOPLE THAT DWELL IN THE GARDEN. (03:00) IT IS the bride of Yeshua, the house of Israel, the one new man. HE SAYS, "YOU HIS ANGELS THAT EXCEL IN STRENGTH." NOTICE WHAT HE DID NOT TELL THOSE ANGELS. HE DID NOT SAY, "HEARKEN TO THE WORD." NOW, YOU BETTER GET this because I'm fixing to unwrap this for you. HE DIDN'T SAY, "HEARKEN TO MY WORD." BECAUSE WHY? BECAUSE WITHOUT A VOICE, THIS word is as dead as a doornail. (03:38) IT'S A LETTER THAT KILLETH. IT HAS THAT BOOK, PLEASE HEAR ME AND DON'T YOU MISUNDERSTAND WHAT I'M ABOUT to say. I BEG YOU. THAT BOOK HAS THIS MUCH LIFE IN IT. WOO! You take it, YOU CAN BURN IT UP RIGHT NOW. AND IT'LL BURN as crisp as you've ever seen. Listen to me. YOU CAN THROW IT IN THE RIVER AND THE INK WILL COME RIGHT OFF OF IT. (04:08) THERE'S NO POWER IN THIS BOOK. BUT when the people that dwell in the garden take it from the pages and put a voice to it, I need you to hear what I'm about to preach to YOU TONIGHT. HE SAID, "IN THE GARDEN, YOU THAT ARE" WHAT GARDEN? THIS IS IT. THIS IS MOUNT ZION. THIS IS THE GARDEN OF ZION. YOU'RE HERE TONIGHT. (04:39) HERE'S WHAT HE SAID. HE SAID, "THE COMPANIONS" Go back to that verse, Brother Kemp, where we were just at. Song of Solomon. Hold on, I'm fixing to let you see something in the HOLY GHOST NOW. WATCH WHAT HE SAYS ABOUT THOSE that are dwelling in the garden of Zion. Listen Listen what he said. "The companions hearken to the voice of the people in the garden. (05:08) Calls me to hear the voice of the word. And when you lift your voice and the word comes through your mouth, the angels will obey the voice of the word of God. Let's give God A PRAISE OFFERING TONIGHT. HALLELUJAH! HALLELUJAH! YOU MAY BE SEATED. I WANT TO PREACH TO YOU FOR ABOUT 4 HOURS TONIGHT. I WANT TO TITLE THIS LITTLE THOUGHT TONIGHT ABOUT A voiceless victim. (05:48) A voiceless victim. DO YOU KNOW THE ONLY WAY YOU BECOME A VICTIM? Is when you become Say it. THE ONLY TIME YOU BECOME A VICTIM IS WHEN YOU LOSE YOUR VOICE. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, I WANT TO TALK TO YOU TONIGHT ABOUT THE ABUSED WIFE. I've never SEEN AN ABUSED WIFE HARDLY. I DEFINITELY DON'T HAVE AN ABUSED wife and thank God. (06:22) Amen. I'VE NEVER REALLY BEEN ABOUT AROUND AN ABUSED WIFE, BUT MAYBE SOMEONE in here can tell me if I'm telling the truth tonight. HERE'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ABUSE A WOMAN for so long. You get up to the point WHERE SHE FEELS LIKE THE ABUSE IS NORMAL. SHE FEELS LIKE IT'S OKAY FOR YOU TO TELL HER SHE'S UGLY OR she's horrible. (06:50) AND TO THE POINT WHERE THE ABUSED WIFE BEGINS SHE STARTS OFF IN THE MARRIAGE NOT ACCEPTING THAT. SHE WOULD SAY SOMETHING LIKE UH "NO, YOU CAN'T TALK TO ME LIKE THAT." SHE WILL SHE WILL STAND UP FOR HERSELF. SHE WILL SAY SOMETHING. BUT THE NEXT TIME SHE KNOWS IF SHE SAYS SOMETHING, IT'S GOING TO LEAD TO even more ABUSE. (07:18) SO, ABUSE AFTER ABUSE, SHE FINALLY SHE'S TOLD EVERYBODY IN THE FAMILY AND NOW THEY'RE TIRED OF HEARING ABOUT IT. NOBODY WANTS TO LISTEN TO THE ABUSED WIFE TELL HER STORY AGAIN BECAUSE THEY SAY, "WHY ARE YOU STILL THERE?" THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND. THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT THIS MAN HAS GOT A HOLD OF YOUR MIND AND HE HAS LITTLE BY LITTLE TAKEN AWAY YOUR VOICE. (07:51) AND LITTLE BY LITTLE YOU BECOME SATISFIED IN SILENCE. LITTLE BY LITTLE YOU BECOME SATISFIED IN BEING QUIET. LITTLE BY LITTLE YOU BECOME HELPLESS. YOU LOOK BACK TO THE WOMAN YOU STARTED OUT AS IN THAT MARRIAGE AND YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO THIS WOMAN IS ANYMORE BECAUSE YOU HAVE LOST YOUR VOICE. (08:20) LET ME PREACH TO YOU TONIGHT AND TELL YOU SOMETHING. YESHUA THE MESSIAH HAS A WIFE AND SATAN HAS COME INTO GOD'S CHURCH AND HE HAS BEAT US SO MUCH AND CAUSED US SO MUCH HARM AND WORE US DOWN TO WHERE THE CHURCH HAS LOST HER VOICE, HER STRENGTH, HER POWER, HER ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND WHAT THE DEVIL'S DONE TO HER. THE CONSERVATIVES WERE DOING THE SAME THING. (08:55) WE'RE LETTING THE LIBERALS GET LOUD. WE LET THEM BURN CITIES DOWN. COME ON, WE LET THE DEMOCRATS GO BURN WHOLE TOWNS DOWN. THEY GET LOUD AND WE GET QUIET. They get tormenting AND WE GET TIRED. WHY? BECAUSE THERE COMES A MOMENT AND A PLACE IN YOUR life where you just get tired. God's church has become the battered wife. And it's not our husband, Yeshua, that's done it. (09:34) It's the enemy that has come into the church and turned God's church into the milly mouths that we have become today. We can't speak up against homosexuality or trans confusionism. WE CANNOT SPEAK OUT AGAINST DIVORCE. We can't SPEAK OUT AGAINST ADULTERY. WE CAN'T SPEAK OUT AGAINST SIN. WE HAVE BECOME SO QUIET, SO SCARED. (10:07) WE'VE BECOME SO SCARED TO SPEAK. ALL THE TIME PEOPLE'S TELLING ME, "Be careful, Brother Vaughn. DON'T UPSET NOBODY." LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING. I WAS BORN TO UPSET EVERYBODY. I WAS BORN TO BE A VOICE. A VOICE. YOU'VE GOT TO OPEN YOUR MOUTH AND GROW A SPINE. SIN IS STILL SIN. HOLINESS IS STILL HOLINESS. (10:42) GOD IS STILL HOLY AND SO ARE HIS PEOPLE. OUR VOICES HAVE BEEN SILENCED. AND WE'VE GONE TO SLEEP CALLING IT CHURCH WHEN IT'S NOTHING BUT A SOCIAL GATHERING OF PEOPLE TRYING TO FEEL LIKE THEY'RE PART OF SOCIETY. WHEN YOU'RE IN THE REAL CHURCH, SOCIETY HATES YOU MORE THAN THE WORLD DOES. THE CHURCH HATES YOU MORE THAN THE WORLD DOES. PEOPLE WILL LOVE you as long as you're quiet. (11:20) The battered wife, as long as she shuts up, the husband will pay her back with money the next day. OH, YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. HE'LL TAKE HER TO A NICE DINNER THE NEXT NIGHT BECAUSE HE FEELS BAD ABOUT WHAT HE DID, BUT IT'S REALLY BECAUSE SHE WAS A GOOD GIRL AND SHE STAYED. LISTEN TO ME AND LISTEN VERY WELL. (11:43) SATAN HAS BECOME SO USED TO GOD'S CHURCH PREACHING NOTHING AND SAYING NOTHING AND STANDING UP FOR NOTHING THAT HE HAS DONE HIS JOB WELL. HE'S KEPT US QUIET. KEPT US QUIET. YOU TELL ME WHY GOD'S CHURCH, YOU CAN'T HEAR NOBODY PREACH AGAINST nothing because we've become that voiceless church. Listen to me. (12:16) Don't ever wonder what's happened to America until you ask what's happened to the church. Listen, sister Justina. As goeth the church, so goeth the nation. Do you know why they hated Donald Trump? Cuz he had the audacity to have a voice. IF YOU'VE GOT A TESTICULAR SET OF BACKBONES, THEY WILL HATE YOU. THEY WANT YOU TO BE SCARED NOT to offend nobody. (12:52) I live to offend people BECAUSE TRUTH OFFENDS PEOPLE. TRUTH OFFENDS PEOPLE. IF YOU LOVE TRUTH, YOU CAN'T BE OFFENDED. IF YOU LOVE TRUTH, YOU CANNOT BE OFFENDED. HALLELUJAH. BECAUSE IF YOU HEAR THE TRUTH, YOU'LL SAY AMEN TO IT. HALLELUJAH. GOD IS CALLING HIS CHURCH tonight to get her voice back. Now, what I mean by that, I'm going to tell you something tonight. (13:21) Many people tell me, they say, "Brother Vaughn, I love you as Professor Toto, But when you start preaching real loud like you do, I just can't handle it. Of course you can't because you bought into this quiet church. That don't say nothing. Don't preach nothing. I have never ever hit my finger with a hammer that I didn't get loud. (13:48) Well, honey, I get hit by the hammer of the Holy Ghost every time I START PREACHING AND IT PRODUCES A VOICE AND A VOLUME IN ME THAT I CAN'T HELP. THERE AIN'T NOTHING ABOUT GOD QUIET, NOTHING. OH, NO. BUT YOU SEE SATAN wants to intimidate us to shut down. Have church, but just do it respectfully. Just do it quietly. (14:20) Just do it with reverence. Do it with respect. Let me tell you something tonight. God told me this morning to tell his people that he is going to anoint this ministry with a voice. With a voice. With a voice that's going TO SHAKE THE NATION FOR THE GLORY OF GOD. IT'S GOING TO GET SO LOUD, SO HOLY, SO RIGHT. (14:50) IT'S GOING TO OFFEND EVERYBODY. YOU NEED TO GET YOUR VOICE BACK. WHAT DOES THAT LAST LINE SAY? YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEAN? MAKE ME HEAR YOU. MAKE ME HEAR YOU. HE HEARS ME, DON'T HE? MAKE YOU HEAR ME. I WANT TO HEAR YOU. YOU'RE ON THE RIGHT TRACK. HE HEARD YOU, SIR. HE'LL HEAR YOU. WHY? BECAUSE THERE is something There's an awakening happening. (15:28) And anytime something starts waking up, y'all, me and my wife, we're total opposites in some areas. About 10:00 at night, she goes into preparation mode. I don't know nothing about preparation mode for bed. What is preparation mode? Me, I fall asleep about 3:00 in the morning, the moment my head drops. That's it, okay? Not my wife. (16:01) About 10:00, I start noticing the house gets dim, real real dim. I start notice the flickering of candles and and uh it's like she's trying to tell me something. Yes. And uh and then and AND I'M JUST NOW GETTING IN THE SHOWER TO GO INTO MY STUDIO AND DO A TOTO TEACHING, RIGHT? AND I'LL PASS HER and she's got her head down, just go into the kitchen to sneak her apples and uh and Y'all don't want to know what I'll be sneaking. It ain't apples. (16:44) Little Debbie will turn you into Big Debra fast. Listen. So, here I go and she's like I like, "HONEY, WHAT'S WRONG?" NOTHING. WELL, how you doing? WHAT'S WRONG? NOTHING'S WRONG, BABY. NOTHING'S WRONG. WELL, HEY! LET'S GO TO WAFFLE HOUSE. SHE STARTS TONING IT DOWN, OKAY? I start waking up. Now, the reason I'm pointing this out to you is because when you are going to sleep is when you start getting quiet. (17:30) Okay? Now, on the other hand, in the morning I wake up like a bang. Oh, yes. My feet hit the floors, I'm speaking in tongues, hallelujah, praise God. But my wife is nowhere to be found. She has a little sanctuary that she goes into to to make herself get ready for the day. I don't know how to get ready for the day. I just wake up ready. Let's go. (18:03) Okay? So, I will go in. We have these thick curtains that keeps the SUN OUT. WELL, I JUST JERK THEM WIDE OPEN. RIGHT? CUZ I'M READY. About 5 minutes later she comes and jerks them right back shut. Well, however, it's one of them ways. So, the point is when you are getting ready to wake up, things start getting louder. (18:30) God's church is getting ready to wake up. There's an anointing that is coming right now of our voices being elevated and God lifting our voices EVEN LOUDER. "CAUSE ME TO HEAR IT," SAYS THE LORD. But notice what he says, "You that dwell in the garden." Tonight I want to show you something. (18:52) This is Mount Zion where we've gathered. This is the tops of Mount Zion. We're in the garden tonight. But there's somebody with us. The companions. Does anybody know who camps round about us when we gather? The companions. The angels of God. they're right here with us tonight. AND LISTEN, WHAT CAUSES THEM TO excel when they hear the what? The voice of our word. (19:28) THIS IS WHY Satan tried to use COVID-19 to stop our gatherings across America. Listen to me, because when we gather, we get loud. And when we get loud, things happen in the spirit that I cannot explain to you. And there has been an attack on God's church the last 12 months TO SHUT US DOWN. YOU CAN GO TO THE STRIP CLUB, YOU CAN GO TO THE BARROOM, but why couldn't you come TO CHURCH? BECAUSE THE HOPES OF THE ENEMY WAS TO SHUT GOD'S CHURCH DOWN. (20:06) BUT WHAT HE DON'T UNDERSTAND, WE'RE GETTING LOUDER AND LOUDER WHILE HE'S TRIED TO GET US QUIETER AND QUIETER. GOD'S RAISING UP A CHURCH THAT DON'T KNOW HOW TO SHUT UP. WE DON'T KNOW HOW TO SLOW DOWN. WE DON'T KNOW HOW TO TURN AROUND. WE'RE ON FIRE. SOMEBODY MAKE HIM HEAR YOUR VOICE RIGHT NOW. WOO! HALLELUJAH! THE ANGELS, THE companions just heard those voices. (20:44) And it just gave them a strength to FIGHT FOR YOU. WHAT YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND ABOUT FALLEN ANGELS, do you know the angel that now this may go against some of your doctrine, I don't have time to teach it tonight. Do you know the fallen angels that the angels of Yahweh are no more powerful than the fallen angels? Amen. They're brothers. That's right. (21:08) Lucifer is more powerful than any of them except Michael and Gabriel. That's right. That's right. THERE ARE CERTAIN ANGELS THAT EXCEL IN STRENGTH. And do YOU KNOW THAT THESE ANGELS YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME? Go to the book of Daniel. Come on. WHAT DID MICHAEL TELL DANIEL? I HEARD YOU WHEN YOU PRAYED. OH, WAIT A MINUTE. (21:31) What did he say? I heard your voice when you prayed, and I started bringing you the answer, but I was held up by demons. Y'all know what your Bible said. Say amen. Okay. People, when I say things like that, they act like I've lost my mind. He said, "I FOR 21 DAYS I COULDN'T GET TO YOU." BECAUSE I NEEDED A LITTLE spiritual help. What did you say? He said, "I needed those that were in the garden to lift THEIR VOICES SO I COULD EXCEL IN STRENGTH. (22:10) " THAT'S WHY DANIEL KEPT PRAYING 21 DAYS. THE ANGELS GOT YOUR ANSWER, BUT WHEN YOU GO VOICELESS, THEY START LOSING IN THE BATTLE. WHEN MY MOTHER-IN-LAW fought for my wife in that hospital for those seven days, she could have stopped PRAYING ON DAY FIVE, BUT I BELIEVE ON DAY SEVEN THE ANGELS OF GOD FOUGHT BACK THE DEMON POWERS THAT WERE TRYING TO STEAL HER LIFE BECAUSE OF THE VOICE OF THE WORD. (22:50) IF SOMEBODY'S PRAYING FOR YOU, SOMEBODY'S PUTTING A VOICE TO THE WORD. YOU GOT COMPANIONS IN THE GARDEN. Did y'all know that? Colonel, did you know you got companions in this garden? They're waiting for you to say it. They're waiting for you to give God the praise. Because the voice THE VOICE BROTHER VON, WHY DO WE COME IN CHURCH AND SCREAM AND HOLLER? WE'RE NOT SCREAMING AND HOLLERING. (23:21) THIS AIN'T A TRUMP RALLY. WE'RE DOING SOMETHING IN THE SPIRIT THAT DEMON POWERS KNOW ABOUT, THAT THE ANGELS KNOW ABOUT. WHY DO YOU THINK THE BIBLE SAID LIFT UP YOUR VOICES, ALL YE PEOPLE? BECAUSE HE WANTS YOU TO CAUSE HIM TO HEAR IT. HOW MANY'S EVER HEARD ME say while we was getting loud, let's put the name of Yeshua on the top of this roof? How many's heard me say that? That's what I mean by it. (23:52) Lift it A LITTLE HIGHER. WHY? WE'RE IN A SPIRITUAL WAR. THIS MEANS WAR. ALL AROUND THIS CHURCH TONIGHT, THESE DEMON POWERS SEE THAT WE HAVE NOT GIVEN UP THE BATTLE. THEY ARE DETERMINED TO DISCOURAGE YOU, TO DESTROY YOU, TO DEFEAT YOU. BUT TONIGHT, WHEN YOU CAME IN THIS ROOM AND PUT A VOICE TO THE WORD OF GOD, YOU LIFTED THEM UP A LITTLE HIGHER. (24:21) NOT ONLY DO THEY MINISTER TO YOU, BUT YOU MINISTER TO THEM. YOU GOT TO LEARN HOW TO LIFT YOUR VOICE. A little higher. Woo! I'm going to move along real quickly now. And let's go to Psalms chapter 149 and we're going to let you go. I'm not going to keep you much longer. Now, we're going to go to chapter 149. I didn't tell you we're going to read three whole chapters, but listen. (24:53) Um that's what we're going to do. Soon as these chapters is over, we done. Woo, only God knows when they going to get over though. Hallelujah. I want to teach you the secret of getting out of your victim mentality tonight. A voiceless victim. You're only a victim when you lose your voice. You only become powerless when you lose your praise. (25:28) YOU ONLY BECOME NOBODY WHEN HE'S NO longer everybody in your life. Listen to this tonight. THE PSALMIST DAVID WROTE A BOOK CALLED THE Book of Psalms. Got 150 chapters to this book. Now, I've written 23 books, so I know a little bit about writing books. Normally, when you get to the end of your book, you start going into the summation of it all. (25:57) Right? You're doing what? You're sort of tying up the You're TRYING TO BRING EVERYTHING YOU WASTED EVERYBODY'S 50 PAGES of reading and making them all understand it in the last two pages. The truth is you can read MOST BOOKS THE LAST TWO PAGES AND YOU'LL KNOW WHAT THE WHOLE BOOK was about BECAUSE THAT'S WHERE THE AUTHOR SORT OF brings it all together. (26:18) Well, David wrote a long book and he finally says, "Let me wrap this up. And let me tell you what I was really trying to tell you during the whole book." Here you go, verse one. Let's read it. PRAISE YE THE LORD. Sing unto the Lord a new song. AND PRAISE HIM wherever you want to. What did you say? Whoa. Cuz my church, my friends told me I could just sit in front of a computer and praise the Lord. (26:55) No. God is into the gathering. And I'm going to tell you why. This modern church the reason Satan tried to shut these churches down during the reason SATAN TRIED TO DO IT, LISTEN TO ME VERY CAREFULLY, is because he understands THE POWER OF THE GATHERING. Because when we get together, WE GET LOUD. AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THAT DEAD LETTER OF THE BIBLE GETS PREACHED WITH A VOICE MADE OUT OF STEEL AND LIFE COMES THROUGH THE PREACHING OF THE WORD OF GOD. (27:40) YOU CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT PREACHING. YOU CAN'T MAKE THE KINGDOM OF GOD WITHOUT PREACHING. OH BROTHER BRANHAM, I'LL JUST READ MY BIBLE. That ain't what the Bible says. That is not what the Bible says. How can YOU HEAR WITHOUT A WHAT? PREACHER. WHY? BECAUSE WITHOUT THE THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT the voice. Let me prove to you there's something about the voice. (28:05) And I want you to HEAR ME. THE VOICE is the medium that carries presence. What do you miss the most about your dead loved ones? If I could just pick up the phone and what? My mother in the Lord, Sister Ruth Heflin, told me she said, "The moment I met you, I knew you was a man of God." And I said, "How?" She said, "Your voice. (28:50) " The glory of God is carried in our voice. Why do you think he commanded you over 700 times in the word of God, "Lift your voice." You don't mind doing it for Satan at a ball game. Isn't that funny how that happens? Act like a bunch of [ __ ] dogs screaming and yelping over a piece of ball that don't amount to a dime's hill of beans. (29:19) GO TO A TRUMP RALLY AND PRAISE A MAN. YOU'LL LIFT YOUR VOICE LIKE A BUNCH OF DOOM BERRIES. DON'T CARE THEN, DO YOU, IF IT GETS LOUD. THAT'S WHAT SATAN HAS DONE TO GOD'S CHURCH. TURNED US INTO A QUIET BUNCH OF SISSIES ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. EVERY ONE OF Y'ALL GO TO Mardi Gras, you act like a fool. Over a dollar It ain't even a dollar. (29:49) It's a It's IT'S NOT EVEN A PENNY BEAD. WHAT DO WE lift when we want them beads? What do we lift? BUT WHY DO YOU I'M TRYING TO TEACH YOU TONIGHT WHAT SATAN has done to God's church. Look, when we come in here, we just want to worship him. I'm going to read you two chapters that says you've had it all wrong your whole life if you think that's what church is. (30:23) I get so tired of being attacked because I'm so loud. Let me tell YOU SOMETHING. I'M GOING to get louder than you've ever heard because there's an awakening that's happening in MY SPIRIT. I'M SICK AND TIRED OF HAVING TO BE QUIET TO NOT OFFEND NOBODY. IT'S TIME TO GET LOUD. YOUR VOICE carries your presence. Notice in Genesis chapter 1, it never said they saw God walking in the garden. (30:57) It said, "And they heard his voice." He walked in the garden with them every day, but notice what they said. They said, "And his voice walked in the garden." Why? Your voice carries your presence. When I'm dead and gone and y'all put me in the ground, you will never hear this voice ever again. And you will say one day, "If I could just hear that loud country southern aggravating VOICE ONE MORE TIME. (31:32) " WHY? BECAUSE THERE'S PRESENCE IN MY VOICE. EVERYTHING THAT'S INSIDE OF ME IS COMES OUT OF my voice. Why do you think God gave Satan the most beautiful voice of every creation on Earth? The Bible said your your your your your pipes were were the most What your voice was the most beautiful God loves voices. And Satan has taken the church's voice. (32:02) Many people don't understand why when we walk through those doors, why I don't just let us have normal church. Why? Is he so determined to drive us insane to get up there and dance? Because I know the will of God for his people. And I don't have a noodle for a backbone. I'm not ready to give up on you and you, and you. (32:40) Somebody taught me HOW TO DANCE. I'M GOING TO TEACH YOU HOW TO DANCE. WHY? BECAUSE WHEN YOU'RE DANCING, YOU LIFT YOUR WHAT? VOICE. DID Y'ALL HEAR THAT? HOW BEAUTIFUL THAT SOUNDED. Heaven heard it. Heaven heard it. And guess what else? Satan, the demon powers of hell that control Waverly, they hear our voice tonight. Why? Because voice has frequency. (33:10) Everything on this planet has frequency. There are certain men I can think of, Billy Cole, his voice. Merle Ewing, his voice. Ruth Heflin, her voice. These people carried something on their voices. That they when they spoke, you felt their presence. God wants to give you a voice tonight of praise. But notice what he said. (33:46) Notice what he said about praise. Brother Von, everybody tells me, and those watching me by YouTube, don't send me no ugly comments, cuz I'm going to delete you. Nobody going to know you sent them. Listen. Everybody tells me, Brother Von, you're the only preacher in town that won't let me worship God the way I choose to worship him. (34:09) That's because if I do that, makes you God. God made the choice how you were going to worship him. Think Think about it. Brother Von, I'm going to go to the church of my choice. You better go to the church of his choice, or it ain't a real church. When you come here, worship the way you want to. I wish I could BE SWEET AND TELL you that. (34:37) But unfortunately, I have TWO PAGES OF BIBLE THAT TELLS ME HOW GOD REQUIRES you to worship him. And brother Donnie, IT'S NOT YOUR CHOICE. If it is, that makes you God. The first thing he said was I want you to praise me in the congregation. Not in front of your computer sitting at home. But in the assembly. But why did he say that? Let's find out and I'm going to move right along and get out of here tonight. (35:15) Go to the next verse. In the congregation of the saints. Let Israel sit there and look sad. Anybody ever been to the club? Anybody ever done the line dance? Come on. Boot Scoot Boogie. Anybody ever get in there? Get in there. Anybody ever GOT IN THERE? EVERYBODY BROUGHT IT LOW, LOW, LOW. ANYBODY? When you're this fat, you can't get it REAL LOW. (35:53) LISTEN. HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO THE CLUB WHERE THEY WEREN'T REJOICING? YOU DON'T GET IN THE LINE DANCE WITHOUT REJOICING. AIN'T IT FUNNY how you'll go worship to Satan's music without one problem. REJOICE. NOBODY GOT TO TELL YOU TO DO IT. NO, NO, NO. YOU KNOW WHAT THEY DO? SOMEBODY I CAN'T PLAY ME THAT SONG uh where you got to get in there, get in there. See if you can look it up. (36:28) I'MMA SHOW Y'ALL HOW THEY DO. YOU READY? I'VE BEEN THERE. WE'VE BEEN TO WEDDINGS. Don't play it. I'm all the older folks are getting having a heart attack on me right now. Listen to me. Hold tight. Don't play it. People, I'm I'm going to get your attention. The other generation, I love and I love everybody. I got a calling. (36:45) It's to WAKE YOU UP. I DON'T CARE IF YOU LIKE IT OR NOT. I'M GOD'S SERVANT AND I'M TRYING TO WAKE YOU UP TONIGHT. GET OVER YOUR RELIGION AND COME INTO WHAT GOD IS TRYING TO SHOW YOU TONIGHT. YOU'LL BE IN A CLUB AND ALL YOU GOT TO HEAR IS ONE STROKE OF THAT SONG. GET IN THERE AND HERE YOU COME LIKE A BUNCH OF DOGS. (37:11) YOU'LL BE SITTING THERE EATING DINNER AND YOU'LL HEAR, "GET IN THERE." AND THERE YOU COME. BUT WHEN YOU COME TO CHURCH, YOU GOT TO FEEL GOD TO DO IT. YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO FEEL NOTHING TO DO IT OUT THERE. All you need to hear No, stop. KILL IT. KILL IT. YOU SEE WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT? SEE WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT? KILL IT. THAT'S GOOD. KILL IT. (37:57) I MADE THE POINT. THAT'S ALL YOU NEEDED WAS WHAT? ONE BEAT. AND YOU GOT IN THERE, DIDN'T YOU? WHY WOULD YOU DO FOR SATAN? HERE'S A BEAT. Y'ALL READY? WHEN YOU WALK THROUGH THOSE DOORS RIGHT THERE AND YOU HEAR THERE'S YOUR BEAT. YEAH, I'M BEING FUNNY TONIGHT, BUT YOU BETTER hear how serious I am. Why do you How many's ever heard it somebody tell you I don't know y'all better stay with me cuz I ain't going nowhere yet. (38:35) Listen. How many's ever heard it said if I go to church and you see me shout. First of all, shouting ain't even a biblical term. Dancing is. You better know it's God. That's the most foolish statement I ever said in my life. You better know it's God. Let me tell you something. If you ever see me obeying his word to dance before the Lord, you better KNOW THAT'S GOD. (39:07) IT takes 30 minutes to get your FEEL GOING. WE AIN'T GOT TIME FOR you to FEEL NOTHING. YOU BETTER HEAR THE FIRST STRIKE OF THE MUSIC AND JUST GET IN THERE. YEAH, AMEN. PRAISE GOD. LIFT YOUR VOICE, SEE. WHEN YOU HEAR THE sounds of Zion, come on and get in there with us. If you're waiting to feel it, all you going to remember when you walk through the doors is the fight you and your husband just had. (39:38) All I'm going to think about is Sister Karen telling me I couldn't eat no more muffins you made me. That's all. I DON'T FEEL LIKE DANCING. LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING. IT pleases God more when you dance when you don't feel like it than when you feel God. All right. Brother Von, I don't know how to dance. (40:05) Sister Ruth Heflin taught me how to dance. She was my mother in the Lord. If you say I'm too fat to dance, here's the cure. First of all, if you're over 300 lb, you can dance just like this. You can dance on the balls OF YOUR FEET. IF YOU IF IF YOU IF YOU'RE UNDER 300 lb, all you got to do is just two three steps forward, three steps back. (40:32) That's all you got to do. And I promise you in just a few minutes your feelers your feelers going to kick in. I promise you you're going to start to feel the liberty of the spirit. YOUR VOICE IS GOING TO lift up high AND THE PRESENCE OF GOD IS GOING TO COME INTO THE MEETING. I'VE GOT TO SAY THIS NOW. There was a day in the churches I grew up in. (41:01) Everybody stood there clapping while one or two people got a blessing and shouted. That does not please the Lord. Unity pleases the Lord. In this ministry, those of you that are specially part of this ministry, I've let you come for a while now without bothering you. But now I'm going to tell you what God's word said. (41:28) The Bible said let us flow together unto Mount Zion. There needs to be a unity in our services where you dance before the Lord if it nothing else just to keep me from looking funny at you. And then and eventually you'll learn to LOVE IT. WHY? BECAUSE UNITY BRINGS IN THE GLORY. UNITY BRINGS IN THE GLORY. WHEN WE FLOW TOGETHER, I don't I'll never let anybody in this church dance without me dancing with you. (42:00) That's the way it goes. And I won't let you cry without me CRYING WITH YOU. WHY? WE'RE ONE. LET ISRAEL BE SAD. And let the children of Zion cry unto their king. Joyful. If you don't come through those doors joyful, you came in rebellion. Next verse. David's wrapping up these two chapters, verse three quickly. Let them praise his name in the what? I know it don't say that cuz my church didn't teach me that. (42:43) I've got one question for everyone here and I want you to answer it. Does that look like a suggestion to you or a command? And you thought I came up with that. That's been in your Bible your whole life. Now, my next question, what are you going to do about that? Just just hold on. Everybody I want everybody I want you to answer it right here. (43:14) What are you going to do about that? Brother Von, I don't feel nothing. Is that what that verse said? No. It said, come into the congregation and everybody dance. EVERYBODY DANCE NOW. DIDN'T SHE? EVERYBODY. My mother in the Lord, Sister Ruth Heflin, I went to her camp meeting in Ashland, Virginia. (43:41) People watching me on YouTube know her. The first time I went, I was a theological doctor of theology. I pastored a church in New Orleans and I walked into her camp meeting, about a thousand people. It was in an outdoor tabernacle, no air conditioning, out in Virginia, Ashland, Virginia, in the middle of the woods. And there was people from every nation and here I come in looking like I look right now. (44:06) All spiffy. And I stood there doing my little Pentecostal way of having church that I grew up in. You know, just once in a while doing a courtesy, you know, you know how we do. Sister Ruth Heflin was about 500 lbs. And she was sitting up there, her stockings had rolled down around her ankles. She was sitting in the chair. (44:35) The whole I don't know how that chair held her. But she was sitting there and she she crawled out of the chair and stood up on her feet. And she said, "WOULD THE BROTHER IN THE BACK LIKE TO BE IN UNITY WITH US?" SHE DIDN'T KNOW I WAS A PASTOR. WHAT SHE MEAN BE IN UNITY? I didn't And then I when I didn't move cuz I didn't I was like some of y'all. (45:02) I didn't move. I acted just like you act. Rebellious. Just like I was. And I said, "I'm fine, sister." "Oh, no, brother. THE LORD WOULD SAY UNTO YOU." AND SHE WOULD START DOING THAT. "THAT YOU MUST FLOW TOGETHER WITH ALL OF US." AND I WAS LIKE And when that didn't work, here she wobbled off the platform. And came to the back just like I do, y'all. (45:33) And pulled me out and said, "I'LL TEACH YOU HOW TO DANCE, BROTHER." One day I'll play her videos for you. The whole church, thousands of them dance together at one time. And when they get done dancing, a glory comes in like you've never seen before. Signs and wonders and miracles. Why? Because the church obeyed the word of God. (46:00) And put a voice to the word. And then let them sing praises with the piano. And with the harp. We don't have harps anymore. So, we use drums and different things. Next verse. So, if you ever go to a church like the Church of Christ that says we shouldn't have music in church, tell them they've got a major problem looking at them right there. (46:24) Cuz this is supposed to be DONE IN THE CONGREGATION, which is the church. All right. Next verse. Verse four. FOR YAHWEH TAKES PLEASURE IN IT. IS IT STILL ABOUT HOW YOU FEEL? OR HOW HE FEELS? YAHWEH TAKES PLEASURE WHEN YOU TAKE THOSE SHOES OFF AND JUST GIVE HIM ALL YOUR VOICE, YOUR SONG, YOUR MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS, YOUR FEET. HE IS WATCHING. (47:08) How is he watching? Because the companions are in the garden. And they report back to the Father everything the church is doing. Woo! He takes pleasure in his people. He's going to beautify the meek with salvation. Next verse. And I'm just about done tonight. Verse five. Hallelujah. Verse five. Let the saints sit down and wait to feel God's presence. (47:42) Do y'all know I didn't write this book? I'm just reading it. These words have been there that whole time, but now you're hearing a voice to the word. WHAT DOES IT SAY? LET THE SAINTS BE JOYFUL. And let them sing real quiet. Let them sing Do y'all not know when I look out here I don't see all of y'all doing this? I don't see all that. (48:11) But you know I don't care. Because you weren't doing that when Drew Brees threw that touchdown. But something about in here we have to do it. Be careful that it's not a spirit that's trying to distract you. Learn to love the loud and get loud with us and you won't hear that we're loud. Hallelujah. Next and that bed is a mistranslation. (48:39) I'll get to it later. LET THE LOW praises of God, the reverential praises of God quiet and respectful praises of God. What does that say? I'm sorry I can't read. Did it say the high praise? I thought that's what it said. Why? Now I'm fixing to teach you how not to be a victim anymore. I'm fixing to show you that you had the power the whole time to do something but you didn't know how to do it. (49:09) And tonight when I was showing you the three steps, religious people don't understand that I'm really setting you free by teaching you that. And I'm going to show you why. Are you ready? Because when you lift these high praises of God and when you dance and when the timbrel and the harp is going and when you in the congregation, something is placed in your hand in the spirit. (49:37) You won't be an abused wife after you've learned how to praise God. I'm about to preach this thing in a minute. All of a sudden, THIS LITTLE VOICELESS, abused little church THAT'S SCARED OF EVERYTHING, WHEN she learns how to do the two-step for Jesus. WHEN SHE LEARNS HOW TO GET LOUD IN HER PRAISE, something slips in her hand and the victim gets her voice back. (50:08) Woo! I'm talking about a voiceless victim tonight. The reason the church has been the victim in the battle against darkness, we've lost this praise. Our churches HAVE TURNED INTO BIBLE STUDIES, COFFEE SHOPS. TAKE YOUR COFFEE AND POUR IT DOWN THE DRAIN AND GET LOUD FOR JESUS. I WOULD NEVER PASTOR A CHURCH WITH A COFFEE SHOP IN IT. NEVER. (50:40) THANK YOU, LORD. I DIDN'T BRING YOU HERE TO DRINK COFFEE. OR EAT THE WELL, THE DONUTS, WE MIGHT KEEP THEM. BECAUSE WE'VE GOT TO GET SEEKER-FRIENDLIER NOBODY WILL COME. LIAR, THE REMNANT WILL COME. THE BRIDE WILL COME. THE REDEEMED, THE CHOSEN WILL COME. THE OVERCOMERS WILL COME. THE 144,000 WILL COME. THE BRIDE WILL COME. (51:19) IF YOU WOULD PREACH SHORTER, MORE people would come. That's the very people I don't want coming, the ones that don't LOVE THE WORD. BROTHER VON, IF YOU CUT YOUR SERMONS IN HALF, THEN you don't need to BE HERE ANYWAY. DID YOU NOT NOTICE WE DON'T CARE ABOUT WINNING THE PEOPLE THAT'S BEEN RECYCLED IN EVERY CHURCH IN TOWN? WE'RE LOOKING FOR THE BRIDE OF CHRIST. (51:44) WE'RE LOOKING FOR THAT LITTLE WOMAN THAT LOVES THE WORD MORE THAN SHE LOVES HER LIFE. YOU WILL NEVER COME TO THIS church and there be a move of God without hearing me preach to you. Why? Because until the voice has come to the word, all you did was have praise and worship. HONEY, I CAN PUT CARMEN on in my car and have praise and worship. (52:16) BUT WHEN I NEED THE VOICE OF THE WORD IN THE CONGREGATION, GOD IS CALLING US TO WAKE UP AND GET A SWORD IN OUR HAND. WHERE DOES THAT SWORD COME FROM? THE VOICES OF THE PEOPLE. NEXT verse and we're going to get out of here now. Now, what happens when you get that sword from your praise? All of a sudden, the victim starts becoming a victor. (52:47) Why? I got loud for Jesus. Because when I walked through those doors, Pastor Bond, the devil told me that I was nobody. But I started dancing like you told me to do and all of a sudden I felt like somebody. See, I come THROUGH AND THE DEVIL TOLD ME MY LIGHTS WERE GOING to get CUT OFF TOMORROW. BUT WHEN I STARTED DANCING, SOMETHING SAID YOU DON'T NEED LIGHTS. (53:09) I'M YOUR PROVIDER. I'LL GIVE YOU LIGHTS THAT YOU DIDN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT. SEE, YOU BECOME THE VICTOR INSTEAD OF THE VICTIM WHEN YOU GET YOUR VOICE BACK. IF YOU DON'T GET YOUR VOICE BACK, YOU'LL COME THROUGH those doors a victim and go out of them a victim. But when you come up HERE WITH THE CONGREGATION AND SING UNTO THE LORD A NEW SONG, ALL OF A SUDDEN A SWORD GETS PUT IN YOUR HAND TO EXECUTE VENGEANCE ON THE LIARS. (53:44) WHO ARE THE HEATHENS, THE LIARS, THE ONES THAT SAID THAT GOD WAS THROUGH WITH YOU? YOU DON'T BELIEVE IT NO MORE WHEN YOU BEGIN TO WORSHIP AND PRAISE THE LORD. THE VICTIM BECOMES THE VICTOR. YOU WANT A SWORD IN YOUR HAND? You got to get YOUR VOICE BACK. WHO ARE THE HEATHENS? THE ones that try to discourage you. (54:17) The ones that always putting you down. The ones that told you lies and you believed them, but something happened one night. We used to sing an old song that said, "I went to a meeting one night and my heart got right and something got a hold of me." When you come down here with God's people, all of a sudden the heathens their lies become as nothing. (54:51) And now this little victimless wife becomes a victor because she found HER WHAT? HER VOICE. You will find your voice in the midst of the congregation, Brother Will. This congregation you may not realize this tonight, but we are somewhat, and I'll be careful with this word cuz people will take it wrong. We are somewhat of a mystery. (55:22) The Bible says the spirit worketh mysteries. I could almost say we're a secret society, if you will. You know why? Do you know why? Because the because the things that happen in the spirit when we start working is unseeable, unknowable, unimaginable. It's a mystery we can't explain. ALL OF A SUDDEN WE CAME in ready TO KILL OURSELVES AND WE GOING HOME READY TO LIVE A GOOD HAPPY LIFE. (55:57) SOMETHING HAPPENED IN THE SPIRIT. YOU CAME IN COULDN'T WALK, YOU COULDN'T BREATHE, YOU WERE SICK, YOUR BODY HAD ACHES ALL IN IT AND YOU GO HOME AND YOU'RE LIKE, "WHAT? I DIDN'T HAVE NO SOMETHING HAPPENED IN THE SPIRIT WHEN YOU GOT YOUR VOICE BACK." I LOVE YOU. THAT DOG SCARES ME TO DEATH THAT LITTLE DOG RIGHT THERE. OH, hallelujah to God. (56:24) Listen. Next verse, let's get out of here. To bind the king with chains. Who's the king? Satan. When you come in here and you get that sword in your hand Brother Von, what does praise do for me? It allows you to turn around to the king of lies and bind him with the same lies that he bound you with because when you begin to worship God, you literally transfer the bondage from your mind to his mind because you just freaked him out. (57:09) He don't know why you're dancing. HE DON'T KNOW WHY YOU'RE STILL PRAISING THE LORD. HE DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY YOU HAVEN'T KILLED YOURSELF YET. HE DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY YOU BROUGHT YOUR TITHES AND PUT THEM IN THE BASKET WHEN YOUR LIGHT BILL'S DUE. HE DON'T UNDERSTAND ALL THAT. BUT WHEN YOU GET YOUR VOICE BACK, YOU'LL bind the king up. HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO. (57:32) YOU'LL BIND THE KING OF LIES. WHEN YOU BEGIN TO WORSHIP GOD, WHEN YOU GET INTO unity of the spirit, there is a strength. Can I get an amen? There is a strength that comes FROM SOMEWHERE. MARRIAGES GET RESTORED IN THE CHURCH. HEALINGS HAPPEN IN THE CONGREGATION. WHY? THERE'S A MYSTERY I CAN'T EXPLAIN IN THE CONGREGATION. (58:04) ALL OF A SUDDEN, even drug addicts, I've seen them drop in submission but we in the congregation. There's a power in this church tonight, brother Barnett, that the world knows nothing about. How many of you How many in this room How many in this room came in those doors tonight with with a worry on your mind? Can I just see 1 2 3? I just want to ask you, where's that worry right now? Something happened in the spirit when Shut up. (58:36) You're binding up the king because you got YOUR VOICE BACK. HOW MANY OF Say it again, son. You Brother, y'all don't know this is a miracle. You want to talk about a miracle right here. When I came to this church 7 years ago, you couldn't understand a word this young man tried to say. And when he just spoke out of his mouth, we've never heard him speak hardly ever until recently. (59:08) God's been giving him voice back. And he just said, "I want my voice back." Right now, in the name of Yeshua, may your voice return to you in the Holy Ghost. May your body be MADE WHOLE AND YOUR VOICE RETURN TO YOU NOW BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY GHOST. HALLELUJAH. SOMEBODY LIFT YOUR VOICE. I WANT EVERYBODY TO SAY SOMETHING'S HAPPENING. (59:47) It's in a dimension on Mount Zion that you know nothing about. But tonight you'll never forget something's happening. I can't explain it. I don't even understand it. But I know that God is using my voice. I'm putting a voice to the word. And that voice is bringing life to somebody tonight. Not only do you bind the king, but you bind all the other lion demons. (1:00:19) How? Brother Von, I want to do that, Brother Von. Please tell How many of And I just taught it to you in this sermon tonight. Get your voice back and learn how to praise God in the MIDST OF WHATEVER YOU'RE GOING THROUGH. YOU KNOW, I DON'T EVER WORRY ABOUT NOTHING. I DON'T KNOW how to worry. I don't know how to worry. (1:00:55) Why? Because I've been living for the Lord a long time. He's got a track record with me. He provides. Do you hear me? HE PROVIDES. HOW MANY'S EVER seen the the movie Dances with Wolves? Do you remember what that wolf did? When who was the star? Costner? When Kevin Costner began to dance, do y'all know what that wolf did? He just sit there and tried to figure him out. (1:01:25) He because if Kevin Costner would have run from him, the wolf would have chased him. Had Kevin Costner run to the wolf, the wolf would have attacked him. So, Kevin said, "I think I'll just mess his mind up and dance a little bit." When you run from the devil, he'll find you. (1:01:47) But when you begin to dance before the Lord, he watches YOU BECAUSE HE DON'T UNDERSTAND WHERE THAT CAME FROM BECAUSE GOD'S PEOPLE ARE SET free in the congregation. Next verse. Let's run out of here. To execute upon them what is written in the word of God. Dishonor Did you know that you have an honor tonight that you never learned how to use because you went to a church that said praise God how you're comfortable. (1:02:25) We want everyone to feel welcome tonight. Just do it as you would like to do it. I wished I could lie to you like that, but you see, I pull back curtains here on your church, my church, and every other church. We pull back the curtain in this ministry. It was a lie. You can't worship God how you want to. You're going to do IT HOW HE TOLD YOU TO OR NOTHING WILL HAPPEN FOR YOU. (1:02:51) DISHONOR HAS EVERY STAIN IN THIS ROOM. What honor What honor do Brother Will, what honor do you have tonight to bind the king and all of his demon powers with this voice of the word? Well, what does that look like? I'll tell you what it looks like. I don't know how you're going to make it. Right up here. (1:03:14) Here comes the king and the nobles. And this is where they come. Don't look like you're going to make it after all. And they'll tell you that all the way through them doors. I watch some of y'all the way y'all come in this church. I can see it on your face. And you saying, "God, if he comes back here and pulls me out in that aisle to dance, I'm going to slap him right in the face. (1:03:35) " Hallelujah. I got your number. Listen. But you you don't want to be embarrassed, so you you do a little two-step with me. A little twirl. And all of a sudden something happens. You begin binding the king. Yes, sir. You can change the world in a twirl. Because it takes faith to twirl. You feel like your world's spinning out of control, spin with it. (1:04:19) Tell the Lord, "I can't handle this, Lord. I don't know what to do with it. I'm just going to spin right along with it, Lord. There's a wheel within a wheel turning in me, Lord. And I'm just going to turn with it cuz I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO." AND ALL OF A SUDDEN God will work it out for you. GO TO CHAPTER 150. (1:04:38) WE GOT FOUR MORE CHAPTERS TO GO. NOW, IN CLOSING, and I'm not playing, we are closing. Brother Vaughn, okay, you've convinced me the power of praise. But now teach me the path of praise. How do I praise the Lord? David finally decided, "Let me sum up the whole book of Psalms in this last chapter. It's all about praising the Lord. (1:05:05) It's all it's about. Just learn how to praise him. In good times and bad. My wife sings a song. I wanted to get ready to sing it, actually, in closing. Go into the piano, but be ready. I want you to sing that song that said uh I've had some hills to climb. What do you remember that old song? Because these words are going to go right along with this. (1:05:28) Praise you the Lord. Praise him in the sanctuary. Praise him in the firmament of his power. Next verse, quickly. Praise him not because you feel like it. Just Praise him because he's a mighty good God. Praise him because he's great. Not your problems. He's great. He's greater than your problems. Verse three. Praise him with the How many heard this tonight? Go ahead. (1:06:03) How many heard this? You see it. Do you know that people will walk in this church that are religious? And mock us for this. While they're sitting in the pew and they don't know the little Pentecostal meeting clap and they will flip something once in a while. They mock us for this. And yet I've got a Bible command that when I come into the sanctuary blow the trumpet. (1:06:45) Mock me, make fun of me, but he's teaching me how to bind up the king with the sound of a trumpet. And then praise him. MY WIFE, DO YOU THINK WE PLAY THIS piano because we want to impress you with our skills of piano playing? No, no, no. When she SITS ON THAT PIANO, SHE LITERALLY GIVES HER fingers to God. That is her praise. (1:07:21) THAT'S HER GIFT. THAT'S HER FINGERS ARE DANCING. The Bible said whatever you do, do it with all your might. Do it as unto the Lord. Praise him with the psaltery and the harp. Next verse. Praise him again with the what? Y'all think God might like dancing? That's the second time in two chapters. With string instruments, with organs. (1:07:53) We don't have them or we would. Next verse. PRAISE HIM ON THE REAL QUIET CYMBAL. Some of your religious spirits are really showing tonight. You can't handle this. You like your church too much. IF NOISE BOTHERS YOU, DON'T DARE GO TO HEAVEN. I beg you. DO YOU SEE HOW I JUST obeyed God? And God's people just looked at me weird. (1:08:54) LET THE DEVIL HEAR THAT. LET THE DEVIL HEAR THAT. I'M DETERMINED TO HOLD MY TONGUE, GOD. BROTHER VON, WHAT DID THAT DO? HONEY, WHAT DID THOSE FIVE SMOOTH STONES DO? DIDN'T MAKE A LICK OF SENSE. WHAT DID MUD IN SOMEBODY'S EYE DO? IT'S CALLED OBEDIENCE. Praise me on the loud cymbals, not the quiet ones. The loud ones. (1:09:33) And everybody in this room tonight says you're a Bible believer. Are you really? Cuz I just obeyed the Bible. And you thought it was weird. I'm trying to show you what religion has done to God's church. Took her voice away. MADE US REAL QUIET. IT'S TIME TO GET LOUD. It's time to get loud. And lift our voices like a trumpet. (1:10:07) Next verse. Let a few of the church people, if they feel like it, let a few of the church people, if they feel like it, praise the Lord. Do you know that sounds silly? I don't know what it does. But it's not for me to know. He said to do it. And he said, "When you do, I'll put a sword in your hand to bind those lies, to bind the king. (1:10:54) You're not a voiceless victim tonight. You're the bride of Christ With a voice that scares the devil. You got to learn how to use it. How many has ever seen me go pray for somebody and it scares the Jesus out of you. Some people, let me see your hands. Some people pray like this. Almighty Father, we ask you in the wonderful name to touch our dear one sister from wherever she's from in the beautiful name. (1:11:27) Okay, that's that's fine. HERE I COME. WHY? I'M GOING TO SCARE THE devil out of you. Somebody needs to get loud. Somebody needs to turn UP THE VOLUME. SOMEBODY NEEDS TO SAY I WANT MY VOICE BACK. I want TO LEARN TO PRAISE THE LORD WITH EVERYTHING I'VE GOT. LET'S ALL STAND TONIGHT. HALLELUJAH. HALLELUJAH. HALLELUJAH. HALLELUJAH. OH, PLAY IT AGAIN. Come on. COME ON. (1:12:11) PLAY IT AGAIN. PLAY IT AGAIN. COME ON. OH, HALLELUJAH. RIGHT NOW, SOMEBODY JUST SHOOK the heavens. Somebody just shook the heavens. God responds TO OUR OBEDIENCE. GOD RESPONDS TO OUR OBEDIENCE. SOMEBODY SAY I'M NOT A VOICELESS VICTIM. HALLELUJAH TO GOD. The secret to praise is doing it when you don't feel like it. (1:13:07) Doing it when you've had some bad days. Listen. And let's just worship it for a moment. Thank God is so (1:14:15) There's a reason TO PRAISE HIM. THERE'S A REASON TO praise him tonight. HE'S GOOD TO ME. LET'S all march towards THE ALTAR TONIGHT. WILL everybody come to the altars? AND LET GOD TOUCH YOU TONIGHT. AND GAVE Gave me victory. Gave me everything. We're getting ready to play for people. We're getting ready to see the bondages fall. (1:14:55) You're so good to me. I cannot complain. I cannot complain. SING GOD. I HAVE my bad days. I've seen those clouds hang low. Then I have hills to climb. I have my sad times. And then I REMEMBER. OH, BUT WHEN I LOOK ABOVE And I think these things And I think these things all out All out weigh the good days. They out weigh the bad. (1:15:54) They out weigh the bad days. Hallelujah. I will not complain. Oh, sing it tonight. GOD IS SO GOOD TO ME. HE IS SO GOOD TO ME. He is so good to me. More than this More than this world could be. He is so good. He is so good to me. His spirit His spirit came to me And gave me And gave me victory. God is so good to me. So good to me. (1:16:54) I will not complain. I feel like somebody needs to hear that verse. I've seen the clouds hang low. Do it again. Come on. Sometimes the clouds hang low. Anybody ever seen the clouds hang low? I would like to see them go. Have you ever asked the question? I ask this question, oh Lord, WHY? TELL ME WHY THERE'S SO MUCH PAIN. OH, BUT IT KNOWS WHAT'S BEST FOR ME. (1:17:39) IT KNOWS what's best FOR ME. OH, I CANNOT I CANNOT SEE. OH. So I just say, "Thank you, Lord." I will not complain. When troubles are in our way, can't tell my life from day. When I'm tossed from side to side, like a ship on a raging tide, I don't worry, I DON'T FRET. MY GOD has never failed me yet. Troubles come from time to time. That's all right. (1:18:32) I'm not the worrying kind because I've I've God is going to see me through no matter what the case may be. I know he's going to fix it for me. I've got confidence. God is going to see me through no matter what the case may be. I know he's going to fix it for me. When Job was sick so long till the flesh fell from his bones, his wife, his cattle, and children, everything he had was gone. (1:19:19) But Job in his despair, he knew that God took care. Sleepless days and sleepless nights, Job said, "That's all right because I got confidence. God's going to see us through no matter what the case may be. I know he's going to fix it for me." Trust in the Lord with all of your heart. Lean not to your own understanding. (1:20:08) And in all of thy ways, acknowledge him. He shall direct your path.

Summary

1. The voice of the bride in the garden (00:01–05:08) Vaughn opens with Song of Solomon 8:13 and focuses on the instruction concerning the voice of those dwelling in the gardens. He identifies the garden dwellers as the bride of Messiah, the house of Israel, and the assembled congregation on Mount Zion. He connects the passage with Psalm 103:20 and emphasizes that angels hearken to the voice of Yahweh's word. He introduces his central distinction between written scripture and the living voice that proclaims it. He teaches that when the congregation speaks the word of Yahweh, the angels respond. 2. The voiceless victim and the silenced church (05:08–09:34) Vaughn introduces the sermon illustration of a voiceless victim. He describes an abused wife whose confidence and willingness to speak gradually diminish through repeated mistreatment. He applies this illustration to the church, teaching that Satan has intimidated the bride of Messiah into silence. He portrays the church as spiritually exhausted, fearful, and increasingly accustomed to accepting defeat. 3. The loss of moral and spiritual boldness (09:34–14:50) Vaughn criticizes the church for becoming afraid to preach against conduct he regards as sinful. He argues that the church has substituted social acceptance for uncompromising proclamation. He uses contemporary political and cultural examples to illustrate his concern about intimidation and silence. He describes his own loud preaching as an expression of spiritual urgency rather than merely a personal preference. He declares that Yahweh is restoring a bold voice to the ministry. 4. Spiritual awakening and the return of sound (14:50–20:44) Vaughn compares going to sleep with becoming quiet and waking up with becoming active and vocal. He uses differences between his own daily habits and his wife's routines as an illustration. He teaches that the church is entering a season of spiritual awakening in which its voice will become stronger. Returning to the garden imagery, he identifies the companions as angels surrounding the congregation. He interprets opposition to church gatherings during the COVID-19 period as an attempt to suppress the spiritual effect of corporate praise. 5. The voice of prayer and angelic warfare (20:44–24:21) Vaughn discusses faithful angels, fallen angels, and spiritual conflict. He refers to Daniel's twenty-one-day period of prayer and the delayed angelic response. He teaches that persistent prayer and vocal proclamation contribute to angelic strength in spiritual warfare. He also recounts a family experience involving prolonged prayer during a medical crisis. He urges believers to understand their voices as active instruments in the unseen spiritual battle. 6. Psalm 149 and the power of gathering (24:21–28:05) Vaughn turns to Psalm 149 and introduces its instructions concerning praise. He emphasizes singing a new song in the congregation of the saints. He argues that physical gathering is spiritually important because the collective voice of the congregation produces a distinctive form of worship. He rejects the assumption that solitary viewing of religious services fully replaces corporate assembly. He also emphasizes the importance of hearing the preached word. 7. The voice as the carrier of presence (28:05–33:46) Vaughn teaches that the human voice communicates presence. He illustrates this through memories of loved ones and influential ministers whose voices remain meaningful to him. He refers to the voice heard in the garden of Eden. He associates sound and frequency with the spiritual effect of preaching and worship. He argues that Satan has deprived the church of this powerful means of spiritual expression. 8. Worship according to biblical instruction (33:46–38:35) Vaughn challenges the idea that worship is entirely a matter of personal preference. He argues that Psalm 149 gives specific instructions for congregational praise. He compares enthusiastic participation at secular celebrations with reluctance to rejoice during church services. He uses humor and musical demonstrations to illustrate how readily people respond to familiar rhythms. He calls for similar willingness to participate in the praise of Yahweh. 9. Dancing before emotional inspiration (38:35–42:43) Vaughn teaches that dancing is a biblical expression of worship. He rejects the idea that believers must first experience a strong spiritual feeling before they obey the instruction to dance. He demonstrates simple movements for people who feel uncomfortable or physically limited. He argues that obedience can precede spiritual joy and liberty. He emphasizes that congregational unity is more important than individual self-consciousness. 10. Ruth Heflin and the lesson of unified praise (42:43–46:24) Vaughn recounts attending a camp meeting led by Ruth Heflin in Ashland, Virginia. He describes initially standing apart from the congregation rather than joining its dancing. He recalls Heflin personally encouraging him to participate. He credits the experience with changing his understanding of corporate worship. He associates the congregation's unified dancing with divine glory and reported miracles. 11. Yahweh's pleasure in the praise of his people (46:24–49:09) Vaughn continues through Psalm 149. He emphasizes that Yahweh takes pleasure in his people and beautifies the meek with salvation. He calls attention to the instruction for the saints to be joyful and to sing. He then emphasizes the high praises of Yahweh. He introduces the connection between vocal praise and the spiritual sword described in the psalm. 12. The spiritual sword and the end of victimhood (49:09–54:51) Vaughn interprets the two-edged sword as spiritual authority released through praise. He teaches that the church has become vulnerable because it has lost its practice of powerful congregational worship. He criticizes churches that replace preaching and expressive praise with entertainment or social activities. He argues that a believer who praises Yahweh despite hardship begins to recover spiritual confidence. He describes the transformation as a movement from victimhood to victory. 13. Binding the king of lies (54:51–59:47) Vaughn interprets the kings and nobles of Psalm 149 as symbols of Satan and demonic powers. He teaches that praise binds the influence of lies, discouragement, and spiritual oppression. He describes the congregation as a place where spiritual change occurs beyond ordinary human understanding. He mentions testimonies involving emotional relief, physical healing, restored relationships, and deliverance. He then prays for a congregant whose speech had been limited, asking for the restoration of his voice and physical wholeness. 14. Praising Yahweh through every difficulty (59:47–1:04:19) Vaughn encourages believers to praise Yahweh regardless of their circumstances. He emphasizes his personal confidence in Yahweh's provision. He uses a scene from the film Dances with Wolves to illustrate how an unexpected response can disrupt an adversary's expectations. He applies this image to dancing before Yahweh rather than surrendering to fear. He teaches that worship can change the believer's response to circumstances that appear overwhelming. 15. Psalm 150 and the prescribed instruments of praise (1:04:19–1:10:07) Vaughn introduces Psalm 150 as a summary of the book's emphasis on praise. He discusses praising Yahweh in the sanctuary and for his mighty acts and excellent greatness. He emphasizes the trumpet, harp, psaltery, timbrel, dancing, strings, organs, and cymbals. He demonstrates the sound of instruments and defends loud worship against religious criticism. He teaches that these forms of praise are acts of obedience rather than mere entertainment. 16. The restored voice of the bride (1:10:07–1:13:07) Vaughn reiterates that the congregation is not a helpless victim but the bride of Messiah. He urges worshipers to recover their voices through praise and prayer. He contrasts restrained prayer with his own forceful style of praying for others. He emphasizes that praise should continue even when believers do not feel emotionally ready. He invites the congregation to stand and participate in worship. 17. Closing songs, thanksgiving, and altar ministry (1:13:07–1:20:08) The congregation enters an extended period of singing and worship. The songs emphasize Yahweh's goodness, the decision not to complain, and confidence that he will provide. Vaughn invites the congregation toward the altar and announces prayer for people seeking freedom from bondage. The closing material reinforces gratitude during hardship and confidence in Yahweh's care. The transcript ends with the familiar exhortation to trust Yahweh wholeheartedly rather than rely upon one's own understanding.

Core doctrine

Pastor Shane Vaughn teaches that the bride of Yeshua has been spiritually weakened because she has lost her voice. He describes the church as a people who once possessed boldness, confidence, spiritual authority, and a willingness to proclaim the truth, but who have become intimidated into silence. His central argument is that Yahweh is restoring the voice of his bride through the spoken word, fervent prayer, and expressive corporate praise. Vaughn opens with Song of Solomon 8:13, interpreting the people who dwell in the gardens as the bride of Messiah, the house of Israel, and the one new man. He identifies the garden with Mount Zion and the assembled congregation. He interprets the companions who listen to the bride's voice as the angels of Yahweh. From the instruction to make the voice heard, he develops the teaching that Yahweh desires his people to express their faith audibly. He connects this passage with Psalm 103:20, which describes angels who obey Yahweh's commandments and hearken to the voice of his word. Vaughn emphasizes the distinction between the written word and the voice that proclaims it. He argues that the written scriptures become spiritually effective when believers speak them in faith and under divine anointing. His statements about the physical Bible having no power are intended to emphasize vocal proclamation, although the sermon expresses this distinction in unusually absolute terms. Vaughn teaches that the voice carries spiritual presence. He compares the emotional power of hearing a loved one's voice with the presence communicated through preaching, prayer, and praise. He extends this principle to the congregation, claiming that the glory of Yahweh can be carried through the voices of his people. He regards the spoken word as a means through which divine presence becomes active in worship. He teaches that angels respond to the voice of Yahweh's word when believers speak it. He refers to the angelic conflict associated with Daniel's twenty-one-day period of prayer and argues that persistent vocal prayer strengthens the work of faithful angels against demonic opposition. In his interpretation, believers do more than receive angelic ministry; their praise and prayers also contribute to the angels' spiritual effectiveness. This proposed mechanism goes beyond what the cited passage explicitly states. Vaughn uses the analogy of an abused wife to describe what he considers the spiritual condition of the church. He argues that repeated intimidation can cause a person to accept silence, helplessness, and diminished confidence as normal. He applies this analogy to the bride of Messiah, claiming that Satan has gradually silenced the church through fear, opposition, compromise, and discouragement. He emphasizes that Yeshua is not the source of this abuse; Satan is the spiritual adversary in his illustration. He teaches that the church's lost voice includes both its public proclamation of biblical convictions and its expression of praise. He criticizes religious communities that avoid controversial moral teachings because they fear offending others. He calls for bold preaching concerning sin, holiness, and obedience. His political and cultural examples serve his larger argument that the church must stop surrendering its voice to intimidation. Vaughn further teaches that Satan seeks to weaken the church by disrupting its gatherings. He interprets restrictions on congregational meetings during the COVID-19 pandemic as part of a spiritual effort to silence corporate worship. He argues that believers gathered together possess a collective spiritual strength that cannot be reproduced by merely watching religious services on a computer. His position gives special importance to the physical assembly of the saints. He identifies Psalm 149 as a foundational description of the church's responsibility to praise Yahweh. He emphasizes the command to sing a new song in the congregation, rejoice in the Creator, praise with dancing, and use musical instruments. He teaches that these instructions are commands rather than optional worship preferences. He therefore challenges the idea that each person should worship only in the manner that feels most comfortable. Vaughn insists that worship must be governed by what he understands Yahweh to have commanded rather than by individual feelings. He teaches that believers should dance, sing, and praise even when they do not feel emotionally moved. He regards obedience before emotional inspiration as especially pleasing to Yahweh. In his interpretation, faithful participation often precedes the experience of spiritual liberty and joy. He places particular importance on congregational unity. He argues that the entire assembly should participate together rather than allowing only a few worshipers to dance or rejoice while everyone else watches. He describes unified worship as a spiritual condition that attracts the glory of Yahweh. He encourages ministers and congregants to join one another in dancing, rejoicing, and weeping because they belong to one spiritual body. Vaughn recounts his experience with Ruth Heflin, whom he identifies as his spiritual mentor. He describes initially resisting her instruction to join the congregation in dancing at a camp meeting in Ashland, Virginia. He credits her example with teaching him the importance of participating in corporate praise. He associates the united worship he witnessed with manifestations of divine glory, signs, wonders, and miracles. He interprets Psalm 149:6 as teaching that high praises place a spiritual sword in the believer's hand. He understands this sword as authority against Satan's lies, accusations, intimidation, and spiritual bondage. He argues that praise changes the believer's spiritual position from helpless victim to active victor. In his application, the enemies and rulers described in the psalm become symbols of Satan and demonic opposition. Vaughn interprets the binding of kings and nobles in Psalm 149 as a picture of believers binding the spiritual powers that have oppressed them. He teaches that praise breaks the influence of discouraging words and false accusations. He describes the worshiper as transferring the power of bondage away from the mind by refusing to submit to Satan's lies. This is a spiritualized application of the psalm rather than its explicit historical description of kings and nations. He teaches that praise produces spiritual confidence and changes how believers respond to difficult circumstances. He uses financial hardship, anxiety, discouragement, marital difficulties, sickness, and fear as examples. He argues that believers who begin to praise Yahweh in the congregation can leave with renewed confidence even when their outward circumstances have not yet changed. Vaughn also connects unified praise with supernatural ministry. He testifies to what he believes are healings, deliverances, restored marriages, and transformations occurring during congregational worship. He describes these experiences as evidence of an unseen spiritual dimension. He acknowledges that he cannot fully explain the mechanism by which such events occur. He emphasizes that preaching remains essential to the church's life. He argues that praise and worship alone do not replace the proclamation of scripture. He regards the preacher's voice as a necessary means of bringing the word into the congregation. For this reason, he rejects approaches to church growth that prioritize entertainment, convenience, short sermons, or social amenities over extended preaching. Vaughn turns to Psalm 150 to explain what he calls the path of praise. He highlights the sanctuary, the firmament of Yahweh's power, Yahweh's mighty acts, and his excellent greatness as the setting and reasons for praise. He then emphasizes the trumpet, psaltery, harp, timbrel, dancing, stringed instruments, organs, and loud cymbals as biblical expressions of worship. He teaches that the variety and volume of these instruments demonstrate Yahweh's approval of exuberant praise. He maintains that praise is not dependent upon pleasant circumstances. Believers should praise Yahweh because of his greatness and faithfulness rather than because they feel happy or their problems have disappeared. He uses the final songs to reinforce gratitude, confidence, perseverance, and the decision not to complain. The closing worship presents thanksgiving as a practical expression of trust in Yahweh's care. Vaughn concludes that the bride of Messiah is not destined to remain a voiceless victim. He calls believers to recover their voices through obedience, public proclamation, corporate singing, dancing, prayer, and praise. He teaches that a restored voice brings spiritual confidence, resistance to Satan's accusations, and participation in the victory of Messiah.
