Pastor Shane Vaughn Preaching "Wolves Eat Sheep, that's just what they do."
Shane Vaughn ——— First Harvest Ministries International
Genesis chapter 4 verse 2. Amen. Thank you, honey. I wanted to find out where the first mention of the word sheep was in the Bible. Uh because tonight I'm preaching about that subject. And I said, "I wonder where the first mention." When I study, I always go by the law of first mentions, where I try to go back to the first mention of something in the Bible to find a pattern or a context. And so, I found it ironic that the first mention of sheep is in Genesis 4:2. And she again bare his brother Abel. Now, Abel was a keeper of sheep. But Cain was a tiller of the ground.
And I thought, "How interesting. Cain and Abel." Cain slew his brother. Abel had a spirit that identified with the sheep. Cain was a murderer. The first mention of sheep in the Bible is Abel was the keeper of the sheep. I want you to hear this and hear it well. Sheep know sheep. When you have the spirit of the sheep in you, you will know the sheep. Okay? Keep that in mind. Let's go over to Mark chapter 6 verse 34. Abel was the keeper of the sheep. Cuz everybody can't keep and hang around with the sheep. Abel liked hanging around the sheep. Cain was making plans to kill the sheep.
Matthew Mark Book of Mark chapter 6 34. And Yeshua when he came out, saw many people and was moved with compassion toward them because they were as sheep not having a shepherd. So, he began to teach them many things. I want you to notice something. Yeshua always finds the sheep. And the Bible said he had compassion on them because they wanted a shepherd. They just couldn't find one. And how did he know they were looking for a shepherd? Because they wanted to be taught many things. Glory to God.
If you want to know who the sheep in this church is, you find the ones that want to be taught many things. Hallelujah. And that's HOW YOU IDENTIFY THE SHEEP. YESHUA SAID HIS HEART WAS BROKE CUZ THEY THEY WERE THEY WERE LIKE SOME OF Y'ALL. THEY LOVED TRUTH, THEY JUST COULDN'T FIND A SHEPHERD. THEY WANTED SOMEBODY to teach them many things. So, brothers and sisters, AS WE PROGRESS TONIGHT, I'M GOING TO SHOW YOU how to identify the wolves in the church. Praise God. It's going to get tight tonight, but it's going to be right.
John chapter 10, let's run over there quickly and we'll let you sit down. Verse 4. Everybody there say amen. And when he puts forth his own sheep, he goes before them. And the sheep follow him for they know his what? Notice they don't know it's not his words. There's something in the voice. BECAUSE HERE'S WHY. IF YOU'RE JUST FOLLOWING WORDS, anybody can speak the words. Anybody can say we believe in the Sabbath day. Anybody can say we believe IN THE 10 THAT'S THE WORDS, SAME WORDS THAT I TEACH. SAME WORDS YESHUA TAUGHT, BUT THEY COULD NOT listen to the words.
There had to be something in the voice that resonated in their spirit mind. God's sending a voice in this hour. Verse 5. And a stranger they won't follow him. He can be saying all the right things, showing out, preaching good. He can say all the right things, but they will not follow if they don't hear that voice. If they don't hear that authority, if they don't hear that humility, that brokenness, if they don't hear that sacrificial life, they won't follow it. A stranger, if you're listening to the voice, not the words. But they will flee from him for they know not the voice of strangers.
Somebody said, "Brother Vine, can't somebody take over your church?" I said, "This is the only church in the world nobody can take over." I promise you. I promise you. You know why? You can get up here and you can say you believe like we believe. You can say this, you can say that, but until the sheep hear something in your voice, YOUR PREACHING IS LIKE a sounding brass and a tinkling cymbal. They're listening for that life. They're listening for the man that's been through the fire and through the fire. They'll hear in his voice. The voice of one crying in the wilderness. Verse number 6.
This parable spake Yeshua unto them, but they didn't understand what he was saying. Then said Yeshua unto them again, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep would not hear them. Do you know why?" The Bible said Yeshua found them without a shepherd. It just told you why. They wouldn't follow him. There were some of you like that. They must They mistook you as rebellious. So, no, no, no, it wasn't rebellion. You just wouldn't go follow that voice. Why? Some wasn't sounding right.
And so, that's why I FOUND THEM WITHOUT SHEPHERDS, NOT BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T want one, but they refused to follow the voice of a stranger. You better learn how to listen for the voice of genuine authority in the house of Yahweh. Learn to hear that voice when you hear it. Verse number 8. But the sheep did not hear them. Because I am the door. By me if any man enter in, he shall be saved shall go in and out and find pasture. The thief cometh not but for to steal, to kill, to destroy. I've come that you might have life, you might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd.
The good shepherd gives his life for the sheep. I can truly say I was talking to my wife today. I said, "Honey, the situation in the church. I said, "I have no family. I have no friends. When I have to make decisions concerning this church, I don't care if you're my brother, my sister, my mama, my daughter, my best friend. I've given up my life." What does that mean? I have nothing in my life that matters more than the sheep of this pasture. Nothing. The shepherd gives his life up for the sheep. He doesn't have a life. THAT'S WHY I DISAGREE WITH preachers and I disagree with them.
When I hear them say, "The church will never come before my family." I said, "You lying devil." "Oh, I messed up. I put the church before my family." Pause. Have you ever heard somebody say it's God first, THEN MY FAMILY, THEN THE CHURCH. BABY, THE CHURCH is God. The church is the body. The church is God. How you going to put God first and not the church? Nothing comes before my role as a pastor. Nothing. My own children, as much as I love them, God is first in my life. I've given up my life for the sheep. Why?
Because I I'LL STAND BEFORE the great shepherd one day and I'll have to give an account to him for this ministry, for this work that he's put in my care. Hallelujah. Who? Verse 12. But he that's a hireling and not the shepherd whose own the sheep or not sees the wolf coming leaves the sheep and flees and the wolf catches them and scatters the sheep. In other words, and I'll tell you what that verse just said. It said that he wanted to be such a loving pastor that he allowed the wolves to get by with what they wanted to get by with in the church.
He was too much of a flimsy pastor to take the authority against the wolf. HE DON'T WANT TO CONFRONT NOBODY. He wants peace in the church, so much PEACE THAT HE'S WILLING TO LEAVE and let the wolves run the church. Hallelujah. Oh, hallelujah. Not around here. Verse number 14. I am the good shepherd and I know my sheep and I've known of my sheep. Amen. You may be seated tonight. In the days that the Bible was written sheep was a well-known subject. Now, granted, you and I know very little about sheep. It's not part of our life anymore. Not part of our culture.
I mean, we're going to get some on the land just so we'll look cute. But we don't know nothing about no sheep. I mean But when the Bible was written, everybody, Sister Magazine, had sheep. Everybody understood sheep. Now, that may be why in the word of God there are over 700 references to sheep. Why don't we understand those references, Sister Pask? By the way, good job on the hair. Hallelujah. I sure hope y'all getting a haircut. She's ready to roll. Amen. Now, we don't understand sheep. Therefore I thought today I need to revisit the subject of sheep for myself.
Since so much of the scriptures refer to them we might want to understand them. Well I decided to begin the study about these sheep. The only PROBLEM IS I QUICKLY FOUND OUT you cannot mention sheep without wolves. They go together sort of like love and marriage a horse and carriage. YOU CAN'T HAVE THEM BECAUSE SHEEP is the natural prey of the wolf. They is woven together as black and white. They're totally opposite and yet they come as a package. Remember that. I always want you to listen to what I just said. If you ever have sheep it is required to have wolves.
Brothers and SISTERS THE ONLY PLACE wolves care to be is with sheep. It's an easy gullible target. The sheep is the natural magnet for the wolves. So, brothers and sisters, if you are the sheep of Yahweh's pasture you are a natural magnet for the wolves. I want to say something and I want you to remember it. It's going to sound so simple but it will revolutionize it. I want you to put it in your memory bank. Never forget what I'm about to tell you. It's so simple it doesn't seem to have much profundity to it but it does. Remember this line. Everybody repeat after me. Wolves eat sheep.
And then sheep try their best to not get eaten. That's what they do. Now, that don't seem profound but if you will ever learn wolves eat sheep and sheep try not to get eaten by the wolf. That's going to be the story of your life. Wolves eat sheep. THAT IS SO NATURAL THAT it ought not surprise YOU WHEN YOU FIND A CHURCH WITH REAL sheep in it. It won't be long you got to have the wolves. Because, repeat it, wolves eat So, I went to the encyclopedia cuz I really didn't know anything, Brother Shaw, about wolves or sheep. But oh, what I found out.
As I went to the encyclopedia, and you can read this on your own the first thing I found, Elder Morgan the most primordial thing that I found, the primary thing sheep it's impossible for them to survive without a shepherd. THEY DON'T HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO SURVIVE. Sheep are not survivors. Wolves are. No sheep can survive without a shepherd. And yet God's church has thrown out the shepherd. Number two, sheep are very obedient. Now, y'all all How many in this room are the sheep of God's pasture? Anybody? All right. THEN WHAT I'M CALLING OUT SHOULD YOU SHOULD BE IDENTIFYING WITH IT, OKAY?
SHEEP ARE VERY OBEDIENT. Third thing I found out sheep get lost real easy. You know why? They have no sense of direction. They were not created to have direction. They were created to have obedience. Because if they had direction then they would know which way to go. They would know how TO GET TO WHERE they want TO GET TO. BUT YOU SEE, SHEEP I'M I'M GOING TO IDENTIFY IN THIS CHURCH TONIGHT WHO MY SHEEP are and who my wolves are. I promise YOU, BEFORE YOU LEAVE HERE TONIGHT, YOU GOING TO KNOW who you are. Hallelujah. Because uh we about to get rid of some wolves. Hallelujah.
AS THE SHEPHERD OF THE FLOCK I AM determined and my mind is made up to never be that description of a hireling that leaves the flock while the wolves take over. Hallelujah. Praise God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. We've got to know who we are. Sheep get lost real easy. If you don't believe it by Wednesday of this week some of you will be so lost in your emotions already. Now, you was just up here feeling the presence of the Lord speaking in a heavenly language, on fire for God. Come Wednesday, you mad at everybody. You know why? You get lost easy. You lose your way.
You get caught up in the in in in the moment OF WHERE YOU ARE AND YOU YOU GET LOST VERY EASY. And and IT'S OKAY. ACTUALLY, GOD KNOWS THAT YOU HAVE THE WEAKNESSES that you have. HE KNOWS THAT YOU YOU GET LOST EASY. HE LOVED YOU ENOUGH TO GIVE YOU A SHEPHERD to slap you in the face and say, "Hey, turn back around. You're getting lost." I thank God for the shepherds in my life. I'll never forget there's a man, he may be watching tonight. He was my pastor for about a year, maybe. Brother Shelley, Stephen Shelley. Over in Alabama and I went to his office one time.
And I'll never forget I was in trouble about something. I I'd done something. He could probably remember. Inbox me, Brother Shelley, and remind me what I did. But I did something, probably something to do with a girl. Hallelujah. Cuz I was trim and slim back then. I don't remember what it was, but I sit in his office and oh God, you just didn't want him to call you into the office. You just didn't. When he would say, "I need" Now, we have Zoom meetings. Back then, we didn't have Zoom meetings. You had to physically go in the office.
And I sit down there and he told me what I'd done wrong and I begin to cry. "Ain't no need to cry." he said. "You weren't crying when you did it." I said, "I need you to come hug me, pastor." He wasn't trying to hug me. He wasn't trying to make me feel better about myself. He said, "Why weren't you crying WHEN YOU DID WHAT you did?" And then I told HIM, I SAID, "WELL, IF I DID ANYTHING, I'M SORRY." HE SAID, "IF YOU did anything He said, "Get out of my office." He didn't care. He's not a hireling. I don't care what any of y'all pay in this room. It has never affected me one way or the other.
You can believe that. You can take your $100 and go ride I'm a shepherd. And I learned from the best. He said, "GET OUT OF MY OFFICE." SO, I popped out of his office. Boy, it wasn't long. My whole world fell apart. Because that wolf spirit if you don't break it it's going to break you. I promise you it's going to break you. Any man or woman of God that loves you enough to correct you should be your best friend. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. If you get lost on the way Hallelujah. My grandmother's sleeping in her grave tonight. She wrote a song and I'm just going to try to sing it.
A DESPERATE CRY rang out from my soul. I longed for those written words of all. Preacher please preach to me. Don't let me drift too far from Calvary. Oh, preacher please preach to me. My grandmother taught me to love the preaching of the word because I would lose my direction without it. Hallelujah. The fourth thing I learned sheep will starve to death because they'll stay in the same pasture, eat all the grass in that pasture and never go to the next pasture. That's right. They'll starve to death. They They They ate all the grass.
That's the Christian that's eaten all the truth without moving to the next truth or the next pasture. Believers that are eating the same message they've heard over and over and over again. They They stay in that pasture until they die. But when the real shepherd comes along, HE SAYS, "NOW, YOU'VE GOTTEN WHAT YOU needed from that scripture AND FROM THAT DOCTRINE. NOW, I BRING YOU OVER TO GREENER PASTURES and let you feed off of the fresh word of Yahweh." You need a SHEPHERD THAT WILL PREACH YOU THE WHOLE BIBLE. Number five Guess what I found out about sheep. Number five they are dumb.
Dumb's not a bad thing. I wish some of my children would have been more dumb, let me tell them what to do. Dumb's not bad. Not for a sheep. His dumbness is his protection. Nobody's hearing that. If he wasn't dumb, he would be smart. He wouldn't need a shepherd. He would say, "I can read THIS BIBLE JUST LIKE HE CAN. I CAN GO HERE I SEE HE GOD WANTS YOU so dumb." Oh, yeah. Just like a sheep, dumb. What does he mean by dumb? Dumb enough Dumb enough to wait for direction. That don't mean you can't have a brain, but your spirit's got to be dumb.
Your spirit's got to be so broken that you you you won't move unless the shepherd says to move. They're so dumb THAT THEIR DUMBNESS IS WHAT PROTECTS THEM. It is the only thing, Elder Connelly, that will keep them under the care of the shepherd. Because the moment one of them gets smart they go their own way. Oh God, give me a dumb spirit. Number six, they're very productive animals. They grow wool. They produce mutton. What is mutton? What is mutton? Oh, it's little sheep. Oh, it's food. Mutton. Oh, the meat. Oh, okay. Sorry, I didn't know what mutton was.
So, they give us wool, they give us meat, they give us milk. And you know what? They do it all so quiet. Productive and quiet. Giving with nobody even noticing they gave. Number seven, I found out something about lambs. They're quiet. They're quiet. They're not loud animals. They don't need attention. They'll give you the wool the meat and the milk and stay quiet about it. They'll never say, "Well, I'm the only one doing anything at the church." They'll never say like these men that work Thursday. They don't know I know how long they were here working.
The only reason I know is cuz I know everything. But they cuz they told me they just came up here and produced the wool the milk the mutton. Nobody knows Sister Callie was cleaning my RV at the land all day yesterday. I know. But she was just producing the wool. Real quiet. You know why? THAT'S WHAT LAMBS AND SHEEP DO. WE'RE JUST QUIET in the Lord. Number eight they are the natural prey of the wolf. And they will be eaten every time once they're out from under the shepherd. Why? Because wolves eat sheep. You and I are called to be the sheep of Yahweh's pasture.
Therefore, WE HAVE A GREAT SHEPHERD. NOW, many people when they say who our shepherd is, they like to say that our shepherd is Yeshua. Now, hold on a minute. He did say, "I'm the good shepherd." No doubt. But what you're failing to understand, and here's where Christians mess up. It's not the man that is the good shepherd. The man was the Torah in flesh. The man was the law of Yahweh in bodily form. It wasn't the man that's the shepherd, it's the word of God that's our shepherd. IN THE BEGINNING WAS the word. THAT WORD WAS manifested in a man called Yeshua.
He But he said, "I'M THE SHEPHERD." IF HE WAS IF HE WASN'T THAT WORD IN FLESH, HE WOULDN'T have been the shepherd. What is our shepherd? It's the word of God. That is who our shepherd is. NOW, THE PROBLEM WITH CHRISTIANITY, THEY WANT JESUS to be their shepherd because they think Jesus IS JUST MARY'S LITTLE SWEET BOY. THEY DON'T REALIZE THEIR SHEPHERD is not Mary's boy. Their shepherd is the word of Yahweh, the commandments, the Torah, the law. He was all of those things wrapped up in flesh. He was all of that. It was in him.
When he said, "I'm the shepherd." He's saying your Bible, the word is your shepherd. While I'm on earth, I happen to BE THAT WORD MADE FLESH. BUT WHEN I LEAVE, THE BODY will be gone, but the word will remain. Our shepherd is the word of God. Sheep without this will get eaten by wolves. It's got to happen. It's so natural. When you get out of this, you're about to be destroyed. When you lose the commandments of God, I'll give you an example.
When two of y'all are having problems in this church, and I come to you, and I say, "The word says, if you have an ought against your brother, go to not your prayer group, not your chat group, TO YOUR BROTHER OR SISTER." Do you understand that's not me talking to you? You make THE SAME MISTAKE THE JEWS MADE. THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHO WAS IN THAT MAN. THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS IN THAT MAN. HE BROUGHT THEM THE WORD. And when you You tell me, "Well, I just DON'T WANT NO DRAMA." YES, YOU DO, OR YOU GO TO THEM. Do it the Bible way. Why? Because this is your shepherd.
Obey it, and you'll never get off track. Never. Brother Batch, this word says, "Never forsake the assembling of yourselves TOGETHER ON THE SABBATH DAY." DO YOU THINK THAT'S ME TELLING you I just want y'all all to COME TO CHURCH? BABY, I GOT A BEAUTIFUL HOME TO LIVE IN. I DON'T need nobody coming to church. But my shepherd said, "Don't ever forsake it." And the moment you quit, the moment you don't obey IT, IT WON'T BE LONG. THE WOLF'S WAITING ON YOU. THIS IS your only protection. When this shepherd said, "Be kind to one another." The moment that you're not, you no longer have a shepherd.
You're like a sheep without a shepherd. It won't be long, Brother Batch. Nobody will recognize you. YOU'LL NO LONGER BE THAT sweet little person we once knew. Why? You lost your shepherd. Listen to me carefully. When this Bible said, "Obey those that are over you in the Lord." That's your shepherd. That's not us telling you that. How many times have I said I didn't write it? That's what I mean WHEN I SAY IT. I'M NOT YOUR SHEPHERD. THIS THAT I SPEAK IS YOUR SHEPHERD. The moment I speak something that's not in this book, is the moment I'm not your shepherd. Did you hear me?
If I come and tell uh Brother Troche TO GIVE HIS WIFE TO BROTHER BATCH, I'M NOT YOUR SHEPHERD no more. MY AUTHORITY JUST STOPPED. WHY? CUZ I'M NOT your shepherd. But as long as I'm warned with the word, you're looking at your shepherd. They told Yeshua, "Show us the Father." And he said, "What? Who do you think is talking through me? DO YOU NOT RECOGNIZE THE WORD of my Father in me? You can't separate us. Why? Because he is in me." THEY SAID TO HIM, "YOU CLAIM TO BE GOD." HE SAID, "NO, BECAUSE I SAY I'M THE SON OF GOD, YOU SAID THAT I SAID THAT.
WHAT I SAID TO YOU WAS I SAY WHAT MY FATHER SAYS." SO, if you're mad at me, that's what Yeshua said, "YOU'RE MAD AT MY DADDY." You're mad at the shepherd. When I bring you the word of Yah, and you get angry at me, your anger don't bother me. I'm going to have a life with or without you. But when you recognize the voice of the shepherd, in the voice of the shepherd, when those two voices are one, you need to learn to follow those directions. I want to show you the difference in a wolf and a sheep.
I've begged some of you, those that have attacked this ministry publicly, I've begged you to cut off communication with them. But you are wolf. You don't listen to a man. And it won't be long nobody will know you because you won't listen to your shepherd. Brother Vaughn, DO YOU HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO TELL US THAT? I SURE DO. I can turn to it. The Bible said, "Mark those that cause division and have nothing to do with them. Nothing." But Brother Vaughn, I want to love them. You can love a wolf, too, darling, and you'll be ate up by the wolf you're loving on.
Till you learn to recognize the wolves around here, you'll be ate up by them. Praise God. I told y'all been studying on wolves and sheep. Let's go to the book of Jeremiah. I got people watching me right now. God help Do you know why they They want to say you're part of a cult? Let me tell you why. Cuz this church world's done got so bass-ackwards that they have no idea in the world what biblical authority in the house of God is. They don't have it in their homes, they don't have it in the church, they don't have it on their jobs. It's nowhere.
Call me what you will, but we got eyes open for the wolves around here. No, I said bass-ackwards. Jeremiah 3 Listen to me, it's all backwards. Listen, Jeremiah 3:14. "TURN, OH BACKSLIDING CHILDREN, saith Yahweh, for I am married to you. I will take you one of a city and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion. And when I do, I will give you pastors according to my heart, which will feed you with knowledge and understanding of my word. How do you know that your pastor has a heart of God? Because God's heart is his commandments. Thy word have I hid IN MY HEART.
DO YOU KNOW WHY DAVID WAS A MAN after Yah's own heart? The Bible said cuz he meditated day and night on the law of God. Listen to me. He said there's going to come a day at the end of time where I'm going to find the lost tribes. And I'm going to bring you to Zion. And I'm going to give you pastors. Now, wait a minute. I thought GOD WAS YOUR PASTOR. OH, I serve the Lord. You lying devil. You can't serve the Lord and not serve the ones that that same Lord said I'm going to give to you.
He said WHEN I START STIRRING UP ISRAEL, YOU'RE GOING TO FIND PASTORS and they're going to be different than your old pastor. How you going TO RECOGNIZE IF GOD GAVE YOU THAT PASTOR? HE tells you. If they can give you knowledge, not just knowledge, but understanding. If they can make you say run spot run, if they can say to you and you say that makes sense, I'm understanding the word of God, that is the pastor that's been sent by God in this hour. Now, if Yahweh is my shepherd, then why don't he just be my pastor? I'm going to give you pastors. But these ain't going to be like the other ones.
They're going to help you understand my word. Every time they open it, you're going to feed like a fat calf. You're going to have food like you've never You'll be like I never saw it. They're going to open it up for you. Hallelujah. Bring you understanding of my word. They'll teach you my laws not done away with. They'll teach you my holy days. They'll teach you my Sabbath. They'll teach you how to love one another. They'll teach you my word. We're living in that hour. He said I'll give you pastors after my heart. He didn't say I'll pastor you myself. I want you to think about that.
Oh, oh, it's me and Jesus hogwash. Hogwash. No, no, no, it's you and the word. And according to Jeremiah, YOU'VE GOT TO HAVE A REAL PASTOR TO HELP YOU understand that word. Absolutely. It is here when we open the scripture and all of a sudden the Bible is no longer a book, but it becomes a food source. That's when YOU FOUND YOUR PASTOR. THAT'S WHEN YOU FOUND Mount Zion. As long as he's bringing that word, that's your pastor. The moment he's not, then you got to pray for another pastor.
But when you find a man that you can't intimidate with your pouting and your sheepy ways, when you find a man THAT WON'T CARE IF YOU'RE A tither or not, because he's not a hireling. He don't care if you put in $1 or 20,000, you the message won't change. Why? Because we've got TO GET YOU PROTECTED BY GOD. HALLELUJAH. Jesus is my shepherd. You don't even know Jesus. A true shepherd, a true shepherd will introduce you to the shepherd. Who is your shepherd? The word. A true shepherd will introduce you to your shepherd. Hallelujah. Praise Yah. Quickly, 1 Peter 5 and I'll be done soon. Hallelujah.
1 Peter 5. I want to tell you what wolves do, the very first thing they do to destroy you. The first thing they'll do is try to get you to doubt the shepherd. They'll tell you how you know, that I saw him, he got mad at somebody. Let me tell you something. If I'm bringing you that word, you ain't got to Look, that word, that message is perfect. And then the first thing the wolf will do to get you, he'll get you to doubt your shepherd. So that the words of the shepherd will no longer have effect in your life.
Some of you watching me right now with your little inboxes trying to get people to doubt their shepherd. Well, let me tell you something. The only people it'll work on is wolves because sheep know my voice. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. The greatest LOVE YOU'LL EVER GET IS A MAN OF GOD THAT COULD care less about your feelings. We don't have time for feelings. We got to change. 1 Peter 5. The elders which are among you, I exhort because I'm also an elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed. Feed the flock of Yahweh.
Now, hold on a minute. Hold on. I got a major problem with that. Because in the modern church, this Christianity, Babylonian Christian church, they believe they can feed themselves by studying the word. Elders feed the sheep. I thought the sheep could feed themselves. I don't need no pastor, I GOT A BIBLE. PROBABLY THE worst thing in your hand cuz you don't know what you're reading. I'll give you pastors that will give you understanding. ELDERS FEED MY SHEEP. This sister, Katrina, the modern church, whether they have a pastor they got a Bible, they'll feed the But it said elders feed my sheep.
You know why? There are certain men anointed as teachers in God's church. Brother I'm going to teach myself. THEN WHY DON'T YOU LET YOUR CHILD HOME SCHOOL HIS OWN SELF? Why don't you LET YOUR CHILD TELL YOU what they're going to learn today? WHY DON'T YOU LET YOUR CHILD RUN THEIR OWN LIFE? LET YOUR CHILD SAY THEY NEED THEY DON'T NEED THAT GET TO ALGEBRA AND AND AND DON'T NEED OKAY, YOU TELL ME. NO, there are teachers for a reason. They're anointed to teach. And those men have been called by God to bring you into the safety zone. Where you're safe. Who? From the wolf that lives in you.
Don't you know there's a wolf that lives in you that you're trying to kill? And that sheep IN YOU IS NOT PROTECTED UNLESS THE SHEPHERD is keeping you out of the wolf's mouth. Who is your wolf? Your hurt feelings. Your offenses. Your emotions. Your That's your wolf. And you listen to me, he'll win unless you're under the shepherd. You need a shepherd that says no. No, you're wrong. THAT CAN LOOK BEYOND YOUR OWN TEARS AND SAY you're wrong. YOU MAY KNOW MORE THAN I KNOW in a lot of things, but I'm your shepherd. And when God gives you a shepherd, learn to love it.
Because all they're trying to do is save you from you. That's all they're trying to do, to keep you out of your wolf's mouth. It'll swallow you up. Hallelujah. Glory to God. We live in a backwards church world. Rebellion is in every church. Sweeping the country. My grandmother, God rest her soul, the first thing she taught me in life, oh boy, boy, was respect the man of God. One time I called a preacher by his first name, and I didn't know I don't know why I did it, but I never did it again. Never.
Not because that preacher's any better than you are, but as long as he's one with the word, that's your shepherd. Hallelujah. Verse one. Verse two. Feed the flock which is among you. Take the oversight of them. Not by constraint, but willingly. Not for filthy money, but of a ready mind. He said, "Take over the flock, and only take over the flock that's willing to be taken over willingly." Why do you think I say something? It makes people so mad when I say this, but when I say you can leave and I don't care, you know what I mean by that? Does it mean I don't love you?
Does it mean I won't miss you? Does it mean I'm I'm I'm not going to cry with No, here's what it means. If you are not under this oversight willingly, I can't help you. You got to be under it willingly. YOU YOU YOU THAT'S WHY I TELL PEOPLE WHEN THEY CALL US A CULT, WE'RE THE MOST NON-CULT IN THE WORLD, cuz I'm the only cult THAT SAYS, "GO ON, GET OUT OF HERE." MOST CULTS GOT PEOPLE AT THE DOOR WITH GUNS. YOU GOT ONE? HALLELUJAH. GOD WANTS YOU to submit willingly to him, his word, so it takes over your life and protect you from the flock from the very wolf. I'm going to move on.
I told you about sheep now, can I tell you about wolves? I learned a lot, Brother Pasch, about wolves today. I had no idea. I better get ready. What about wolves? Here's the main thing I learned. There's always an alpha wolf. Brother Shane Suhl, when you find a pack of wolves, there's one wolf that rules the whole pack. He rules the wolves, and all the rest of them obey him, or he will kill them. HERE'S THE THING ABOUT THE ALPHA WOLF. The one thing he don't need, Elbert Connelly, the first thing I told you the sheep needed was a what? The alpha wolf don't need a shepherd. He's his own man.
Makes his own living, Brother Suhl. Self-made man. Uncontrollable. Doesn't need no constraint. Here's something else I found out about wolves. Number two. They stake out their hunting territory. No wolf from another pack is allowed in the territory that that alpha male marks off. They look for hunting territory. They s- They look for hunting. I need you to hear what I'm saying. Hunting territory. Interestingly enough, the wolf, number three, has no natural predator. I didn't realize that.
There really is nothing besides maybe a lion, but as far as in the woods, there's nothing that's out to kill the wolf. He has no predator to speak of. His main predator, are you ready? His main predator is other wolves. They kill their selves. WOLVES DON'T HAVE NOTHING TO BE AFRAID OF EXCEPT FOR THE OTHER wolves that they just hooked UP WITH TO DESTROY SOMEBODY ELSE. When they're done, they turn around and destroy one another. Every time the only thing a wolf has to LOOK OVER HIS SHOULDER FOR IS ANOTHER WOLF, THE ONE HE JUST GOT THROUGH FIGHTING WITH against another animal.
Wolves destroy wolves. They will join together. THESE WOLVES MAKE A PACT with another pact when it's time to destroy the shepherd. So they can all get to the sheep. They got to kill the shepherd to get to the sheep. THEY CAN'T DO IT BY THEIR SELF. So they invite I mean, so they go TO THE OTHER PACT. They reach to another STATE AND ANOTHER WHEN THEY FIND SOME MAD, ravenous wolves. And they'll come in and destroy the shepherd of the sheep.
And then when they're finished killing the shepherd, because they go with the other pact to get the sheep, they kill the very ones that helped them kill the shepherd. It never fails. I learned a lot about wolves today. I learned that the biggest killer of a wolf is other wolves, and then the next is disease. Because wolves are scavengers. They will eat anything, dead or alive. They have no dietary restrictions. They eat on anything they can. Whereas the sheep only feeds on the word of God given to them by the shepherd, WOLVES WILL EAT ON GOSSIP, LIES, PERVERSION, tale bearing, FALSE DOCTRINE.
THEY'LL EAT ANY KIND of music. They'll eat anything. And then they get A DISEASE OF THE MIND, and they die by what they eat. If you want to know if you're dealing with a wolf, look at what they feed on. Check out what they're eating. If the word don't excite them, but the Barbie movie does, watch what they laugh at. Watch what turns them on, and you'll find your wolves. Why? Because the sheep only feed on the message. The wolves feed on the mess. The trauma. They love it. They feed on it, and that's what they die by. Always. I found out some other things about wolves.
I found out they have a pattern. They gather together. They kill. They rend and destroy. But it always starts with the gathering. Be careful of those that want you to gather with them. Make sure it's sheep. Now, the funny thing about the alpha male is he earned that position by killing more than all the others and then teaching them how to kill. THERE WILL ALWAYS BE a leader or a coach that will work up the gather. She'll do They'll do it with a text, a phone call. THEY START GATHERING AND THEY THEY SAY LITTLE THINGS to test you.
And then they'll jump back if you don't bite cuz they then they'll laugh it off like they didn't really mean that. IT'LL BE SOMETHING NEGATIVE ABOUT YOUR CHURCH OR YOUR pastor or someone in your church. And the minute you say, "Yeah, I know Now the gathering has begun." Because that person knows somebody that feels the same way. I just talked Did you I didn't know she felt that way. The gathering. WOLVES NEVER KILL WITHOUT GATHERING FIRST. A year ago, their alpha male, I wish I could say his name, I would, came to Biloxi, Mississippi leading him a pack to destroy this ministry.
Baby, not only did that wolf leave with his tail tucked between his legs, but every one of them killed each other and now none of them like each other. If never fails. Don't get caught up in the gathering. Protect yourself from the attack. Learn to discern the wolf. After the gathering, then you've got an alpha male, the one that's leading the pack. She might be financing the gathering. You act like you don't hear me if you want to. She might finance the gathering. There's always going to be a gathering. Even though wolves eat sheep, did you know that sheep never hate wolves?
Did y'all know that? Sheep don't hate wolves. I'm trying to show you who you are tonight. Wolves eat sheep and sheep are too dumb to hate wolves. They're dumb. They know they got a shepherd up on the hill. And if they'll obey his word, they'll never be harmed by the wolf. They know that. They know that. They know it. That's their confidence. I'm trying to hurry. Sheep don't have You know, YOU WOULD THINK THAT SHEEP WOULD hate wolves. They don't know they hate wolves. You know why they don't know?
Because they were just eating a piece of grass that said, "Love your neighbors much as you love your Be good to your enemies. Don't despise those that despite." They've been feeding on that. They've not been feeding on hate. They've been feeding on "Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not to your own understanding. In all your WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM. HE'LL DIRECT your path." But nobody told them how to hate. Because hate ain't in the book. Sheep Wolves eat sheep. Sheep loves wolves. But shepherds don't. Y'all they don't love wolves.
He told you to love your enemies while he deals with your enemy. It ain't Don't you Don't you Don't you get it twisted. You got a shepherd. I NEVER UNDERSTOOD, SISTER KELLY, HOW GOD COULD TELL ME TO LOVE MY ENEMIES, but he's coming to kill all his. Vengeance is mine. I will repay. You keep eating grass. You depend on me and I will destroy the wolves. You got to love me and I will destroy the wolves. When they was meeting on me a year ago, not one time did I ever address it. Never. I was up here dancing with wolves. I know my life. I know my faith is in the Lord.
I know though a thousand come up on me to eat up my flesh, they'll stumble and fall. I know though 10,000 come on my right and 50,000 on my left, in this will I be confident. The Lord is my life. The Lord is my salvation. Whom shall I fear? It's like weakness to the world, but it's strength that they don't understand. I would rather be weak before the world and stand strong in faith to know that God will never let me be ashamed. Ever. Ever. Wolves eat sheep. Sheep loves wolves. Because the wolf that was in us is dying.
The wolf that destroys back, we put him on an altar and we drowned HIM IN SOME WATER. WE drowned him, the wolf. And that nature is being replaced by the sheep. Now, the DNA of the sheep Am I helping anybody tonight? Anybody? How I don't want you to get destroyed by the sh- by the wolf. Their only protection is the shepherd. I want you to hear me tonight. Your only protection, Brother Danny, is the word of God. Just to own the word is your shepherd. When they come up on you, I love what David said, "How long do the wicked prosper?" Lord, how long do you want me not to destroy them?
Ah, but this will I be confident. The Lord is my salvation. He'll save me. Listen. Wolf, where's the sheep? And he goes to the And that shepherd destroys him. The wolf never has to do it. The sheep never has to do anything. But that is conditional. I'm going to talk to you about that condition. To the sheep, a sheep is different from a wolf. And yet everyone in the world, please listen carefully. Everyone in this room, Sister Kristen, everyone in your family, on your job, Sister Denise, everyone in your world is one or two things. A wolf or a sheep.
In this church tonight, we've got wolves and sheep. If you'll never forget that, you'll never be surprised when a wolf acts like a wolf. I just gave you more than you heard. A sheep that cannot identify a wolf is certain to be eaten by one. I'm going to hurry through some of these notes. Leviticus 26 14 and we're coming, I promise you, to the end. Leviticus 26 14 and 15. I've learned to depend on my shepherd. Do you know everyone that's ever risen up against us has fallen in shame? You know why? We don't fight back. We eat the word. We eat the word. We just eat the word.
Leviticus 26 and 14, let's read it. Here's what he says to us, his sheep. If you despise my statutes or if you hate my judgments so that you will not do all my commandments and break my covenant I'm sorry, was that 14? But if you will not hearken unto me and will not do all these commandments everybody listen. He said you're my sheep. I'll protect you. But if you don't let me be the shepherd with my commandments Oh, brother Von, I'll let God be my shepherd. What about when your pastor commands you? You see? Nobody wants a shepherd.
Everybody's reading that Oh, yes, I'll obey his statutes, his commandments. But I thought he said he would send you pastors to give you those commandments and give you those statutes, the ones that you hate when I speak to you. See, it's hard. We're so rebellious in our hearts that we don't understand. One part of you says IF YES, IF GOD SAYS IT, I'LL DO IT. WHO DO YOU THINK THE MAN OF GOD IS? He's bringing you the word of God. And the BIBLE SAID, "IF YOU WILL OBEY THESE STATUTES and these commandments if you will do that I'll protect you." But read verse 15, verse 22.
But if you don't do those things, I will send the wolves among you. 22, same chapter, verse 22. I will send the wolves into the flock. And they'll destroy your church your cattle they'll make you few in number. When we despise the law, wolves will overtake us. When we put anything before his law the wolves will find a way in. THE DIFFERENCE IN A WOLF AND A SHEEP is the sheep lives by a law. The wolf lives by survival. Sheep have a constant shepherd hitting them with the stick. Sheepdogs, the elders aggravating you to death. Watch your attitude, brother. Watch that face, sister.
Watch what you're who you're texting. WATCH WHO YOU'RE TALKING THAT'S THEM SHEEPDOGS THAT YOU SAY YOU YOU'RE A SHEEP. He said, "Elders keep them in the pasture of the pastor of the word." He said, "BUT IF NOT those sheep are required TO LIVE BY A LAW IN order to be protected. THE MOMENT THEY DECIDE TO ACT LIKE A WOLF they're out of the protection. And now those promises don't apply to you because you left the word. But you know what the Bible says to do with a talebearer? Do you know what a talebearer is?
Someone that's telling you a tale about somebody that's in this church or somebody you love and THEY'RE TELLING YOU THE BIBLE TELLS YOU TO TO TO to get them out of your sight. But you want a shepherd. The word is your shepherd. Don't nobody leave here saying Pastor Von said he's my shepherd. No, no, no. Shane Von is not your shepherd. If Shane Von IS YOUR SHEPHERD, GOD HELP YOU. But if there's a word that Shane Von speaks that lines up with the word of Yahweh, that is your shepherd. That is your shepherd. That is the door of the sheepfold. Wolves have no law. You know what they do?
Whatever it takes to survive. The law is to break us. That shepherd I I always wondered what this was for. You know what it's for? To get on your nerves, Pat. Get over, honey. Quit acting like that. Be good to your husband. Be obey your husband. Never mind. Never mind. Don't miss church. I better stop. That's what it's for. It's the law. It's the law. It's that thing that makes you a sheep. And you get to where you almost start liking it. Yeah. You're like, "Thank you, pastor. Thank you. Thank you. Always tell me the truth, pastor. Help me to grow. Help me to be more like Yeshua.
Help me to love my brothers and my sisters. I I want to be a I want to be a sheep." So this This now this won't work on a wolf. They see this as an attack. Oh, Rick Lowry. Rick Lowry. They glory. THEY'RE TOO SMART FOR THIS. THE WOLF'S DUMB enough to let you do it. I want to be dumb. The Bible said Yeshua was like a dumb sheep led to the slaughter. How many in here wants to be led to the slaughter? God, kill me. Destroy that wolf in my life. The wolves have one thing that scares sheep. Are you ready? Their howl at nighttime. You ever heard a wolf howl? It'll make your blood run cold.
The sheep hear it. They fear. You listen to me. You'll always know a wolf by their bullying and their howling and their intimidation. They'll always use fear tactics to make you afraid. They'll always say what they're going to do to you and what this and what that and then and And if you're IF YOU'RE A SHEEP OF YAHWEH YOU CAN stand still and let it howl. Let it howl. When it's over the wolves will all kill one another while you carry on for God. Hallelujah. Don't ever be afraid of their howling. You've got a shepherd. You've got a shepherd.
Another interesting thing about wolves, this one blew my mind. They They are a matriarchal society. The women rule. Oh, yeah? In the wolves you have an alpha female and she rules the alpha male. If you go You know how you search for horses or have to find out who their lineage is? You go through the father. With wolves, you go through the mother. They're a matriarchal society. Can't tell them what to do. Hallelujah. I'm going to move on. I did find that interesting. Sheep is a patriarchal society. Psalms 105 36 and I'm closing. And if you want to come to the piano just don't play it.
Hallelujah. Uh that's the wrong chapter and verse. I apologize. Oh I want to finish up by saying this. I thought it was 105 but it's not. There's a verse of scripture there that talks about when you let strangers come in among you. That what will begin to happen. Those wolves that you let in the sheep will start imitating the wolves. And the disease will spread. Do you know that How many's ever heard of the black plague? Do you know what started it? A yellow wolf. Who's heard of the bubonic plague? You know what started it? A desert wolf. Who's ever heard of the syphilis plague?
Started by red wolves. Two-thirds of Europe was destroyed by wolves. Because these plagues wipe out churches. They wipe out ministries. Wolves' favorite hunting territory is the sheep fold. Don't go to sleep on me yet. I'm almost done. Wolves' favorite hunting place is the church house. Everyone in a church is either a sheep or wolf. Your goal in life is to know the difference. You will have to learn what wolves do to know who wolves are. Let me say it again. Brother I don't know a wolf. Watch what they do. Number one, they don't pray unless somebody's watching. Wolves don't pray.
Unless it's prayer meeting and everybody's watching. They don't fast. They don't submit. They don't take the rod. They don't make things right with people. They don't meet for accountability. Anybody listening? They run all the time. Wolves are very mobile creatures. Sheep stay in one spot. Wolves run from church to church, place to place. They defy authority. They have no pastor. They have no old friends that can give them a good word because they kill everywhere they go. You must know the signs to avoid being eaten. Wolves always congregate to destroy the sheep and the shepherd.
Always remember the greatest enemy of the wolf is the wolf. They will scam one another trying to destroy the sheep and the shepherd. They'll eat each other up. Just trying to bring you down. My God. Sheep is different than wolves. Here's what happens. They go from ONE HUNTING AREA TO ANOTHER looking for new sheep. Gullible sheep. You know why? Because sheep are such sheep that they're gullible. They want to believe the best in everybody. I want to read something in the book of Luke 16 and verse 8.
I know it's getting late and I know I'm preaching intently tonight but you'll remember this message a year from tonight. This will be one of those messages that you'll either find out was to you or not to you. Hallelujah. Matter of fact I'm going to go back and watch it in a year. Luke 16 and 8. And the Lord commended the unjust steward because he HAD DONE WISELY. FOR THE CHILDREN OF THIS WORLD WHICH IS THE WOLVES. Are wiser than the sheep. That word's a bad translation. Should say smarter. The wolves know how to scam. Sheep don't. So what they'll do THEY WILL NOT SUBMIT TO SHEEP LAW.
If they want to eat sheep they got to be smarter than the sheep. Now they'll remind you of all their degrees to make you know you're dumb and they're smart. Because the truth is you are gullible. You love people. And the truth is you do want to believe the best in people. And they know it. So what's the cure? A SHEPHERD. THAT'S the cure. A shepherd with eyes to see. Hallelujah. They want to become honorary sheep without being a sheep. What's an honorary sheep? You didn't pay the price. Listen to me carefully. You got you an honorary degree. What's that mean? It's a joke.
You know I mean you know if you get one that's fine. It's an honor. I'm not putting down on honorary degrees but I'm saying if I get an honorary degree like sister Elder Baker has, she put in the time. She went THROUGH THE JOURNEY. I GOT THE HONORARY DEGREE. I STILL CALL MYSELF or whatever she is. They want to be honorary sheep without going through the hell to get there. Without going through the pain to become a sheep. Without going through the nightmare. Without going through the breaking. Without going through the obedience. Without going through the fire.
Without going through the submission. Without going through the pain. You can't be an honorary sheep. Honorary sheep are wolves in sheep clothing. They want to be honorary sheep. They want to come down here to accept Christ as their savior. Throw some pixie dust on them. Let them speak in tongues and prophesy. That's why speaking in tongues has never impressed me. Never. God I'm on the platform can out speak in tongues more than all of you. Honorary sheep. Don't you misunderstand what I said. I speak in tongues every day. But it don't impress me much.
Biggest wolves I've ever known spoke in tongues better than anybody I ever knew. Real sheep ain't determined by their tongues. Oh they're determined by their tongues. You got to learn what the PIXIE DUST LOOKS LIKE. THE SHOW, THE CIRCUS, the smoke, the mirrors. They want to look like us, dance like us, talk like us but they're not us. Amen. And then miraculously I'm no longer a wolf. I got dust thrown on me in the baptism. I was a wolf. Now I'm a saved wolf. You can huff and you can puff. But you'll never blow this house in. It's built on a foundation. I said it's built on the word of God.
Somebody say no ordinary sheep. In this fold. You're coming through the door. You're coming through the door. The congregation don't have room for saved wolves. Now wolves can be changed. Oh, yes. By this. I'll know that wolf spirit's leaving you by how you react to this. Wolves fight it. Sheep invite it. Why? Because we're being broken. I want you to hear me. A broken horse can't lead un-broken. Can you hear me? Once he breaks you, he can use you. He can trust you. God wants to know the wolves among us and the sheep. Until their actions go ignored for so long.
And one day these honorary wolves throw off their sheep clothing and destroy the flock. Once you run the wolves out of the church, they'll do anything to stay connected to it. Because wolves eat sheep. And the only place they can find sheep is in the church. Ladies and gentlemen, they get in by disguise. There is another way in. Come through the door. Let's kill the live. Goodnight. We love you. May Yahweh bless you. I'll see you all in the morning.
