A Conversation with MAGA - YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mBSWpnuQ20 Transcript: (00:01) now you've been criticized heavily on uh especially on right-wing watch a website we are all very familiar with uh everybody on this panel including myself has been uh featured on right-wing watch at one point or the other right so um you you've been criticized heavily for um uh what somebody some people would consider uh idol worship with Trump idolatry you referred to him at one point as a messiah I'm very careful to say not the Messiah but a messiah thank you Patrick thank you well you know distinctions are important you know uh (00:39) some people may say it's a distinction without a difference I I'm but I want to hear your perspective on that thank you uh Newsweek just did a hit piece on me I think this last week because I said This Means War but anyway um yeah so you know here's the deal we live in a world Patrick where for some reason Americans have been convinced that you don't mix religion with politics I don't know when that started I can take you all the way back to the beginning where religion was always mixed with politics um I can take (01:14) you to the state capital and show you Moses on top of the building I mean so in other words uh the black robe regimen we go on and on always but for me when I do it it's it's oh my God take his tax exempt status away well I'm not 501c3 anyway so it doesn't bother me but the point is I did say that Donald Trump uh when Barack Obama I've always said Barack Obama created Donald Trump and he did uh Bill Clinton was the last and I couldn't stand Bill Clinton but he was the last smart politici that we had he knew what you could say and what you (01:50) couldn't say what you could do and what you couldn't do and that's why in the gays in the military he said' don't ask don't tell the dude was smart and you got to give it to him' um so Barack comes along and he doesn't know those lessons he just gung-ho takes this ship called America and leans it all the way to the left and gets the other side out of the water completely and that creates Donald Trump because over here we've got to have a messiah you can call it what you want to a deliverer a savior a redeemer (02:26) somebody's got to come and fix Obama's mess so Obama created Trump we get Trump and we to try to get the ship back out of the water and get the you know the ship back right and so whenever I call Trump a messiah the word Messiah simply means a chosen one or an anointed one or anyone that is used to help deliver a nation uh rabam was called a messiah of Israel because he delivered them and so we said that he was a messiah and that word unfortunately people don't know what the word means they think that it's the last name of Jesus Christ and it (03:07) it's not it's not you know so that is what I meant by that it is not it is not yeah I AG because I agree with I agree with Shane um the point about separating religion from politics I think has been hugely damaging to our country especially my uh my dad so we I grew up in Houston we went to a a big Episcopal Church not a big one not like a mega church or anything but sizable uh Episcopal Church really old uh old church there and at one point my dad went up to the preacher or the the priest and and said you know why don't (03:47) you talk about some of the some of the crime in Houston this was right after uh it was the B election and so a whole bunch of leftists got elected into Houston and the crime rate spiked and and it was going really badly and he was going why don't you talk about you know biblical morals in today's world and and why we have penitentiaries and you know like why don't you actually talk and uh you know the preach the preacher the priest said something like you know well what can we do you know what are what impact can we have and it's like well (04:18) that's the that's the wrong way to think like okay if you think that way then you're not going to have any impact but you've got several thousand people that go to this church in Houston alone and they can they have friends that they can talk to they need to understand that there's nothing moral about letting a criminal back out on the street who is not repentant and hasn't changed his ways you you know you have and so you know the way my dad put it was like he was like you know letters from Paul to the Corinthians is great but there stuff (04:46) happening right now today like I get that we can learn lessons from what happened 2,000 years ago but you can bring those lessons into today and and try to actually make a tangible different difference in today's world and so I think it's something that the church need to stop abdicating this position of of helping to guide their people in the real world this isn't just some you know you're not supposed to go to church on Sunday and just think about things that happened a long time ago and then not bring it into your your life I (05:14) think the churches have have basically abdicated this position and surrendered their authority to the the secular Powers who are not afraid of telling people how to be moral and how not to be so I think that's a that's a big issue and I think it's the churches are too afraid to say what they believe so we we actually went to we actually we're going to an Anglican church now which is different from Episcopalian they sort of branched because the Episcopalian started you know the LGBT stuff and the a lot of traditional episcopalians went (05:45) we're not changing our Doctrine for the for just whatever is trendy right now that's not what church is for we're going to stick to the the biblical truth so the church that I go to now when there was a big uh when the abortion decision happened at the Supreme Court you know the priest went up and said you know a lot of churches don't want to get political we are pro-life at this church and then the whole church exploded in cheers like people are hungry for that they want spiritual leadership in the real world that has political (06:12) implications and uh it's and churches are welcome to they can do that they're choosing not to so it's really a failure of the church to uh uphold its its duty to um to be present in the real world and in the modern world and to deal with these issues not deal with issues that were affecting the Corinthians in uh you know year four so I I think the churches need to pick up some slack P Patrick may I respond to that I'm so sorry yeah absolutely of course okay you don't wait for me you okay thank you very much U Harrison James (06:47) Madison made it very clear he said that our Republic or our constitution is totally inadequate for any society that's not religious or said those words yeah he he he said you cannot have a free people unless they're free inwardly it's just like if I have a drug addicted child I cannot give him freedom I can give my other children freedom I can't give him freedom because he can't handle freedom and when you talk about separation of church and state it is the voice of the church that was always that that aggravating (07:34) voice in the world that said no matter what you think that's wrong that's right you do what you want to but the voice was there and when that voice disappears from this nation you'll see the results all around you but the truth is Harrison there is no such thing a separation of church and state the Liberals have more in my opinion mixing of church and state than we do because their religion is humanism their religion is evolution their religion is you know climate change their religion is a God that's not in (08:14) control of our daily lives but it's we are Gods so whether your religion is humanism or the god of the Bible you're mixing religion with politics on either side the only problem is your preachers like Joy read and different ones that preaches your message they get a free pass because they don't call it a church but it is a church when you have a voice that speaks to what's right and what's wrong that's a church and we are the only ones bible-based churches that are not allowed freedom of speech any longer in the nation if I preach what the Bible (08:55) says plainly and it offends people that's hate speech now if I speak and I say that I believe that God chose just like he did All Through the Bible a man to help save a nation and I can show you example where the god of the Bible did that and I refer to Donald Trump with that biblical opinion I am a cult leader I am everything else in the book and and I'm not but I have a right to speak what the word word of God says that was once cherished in this nation so we're at a point now we're at a breaking point where (09:38) religion religion is not allowed in the Public Square and when you lose religion you're going to wind up with a society that's going to require a dictator religion Shane I've got to push back a little bit on that for one second please you have a pretty large audience on on Rumble um Harrison has a pretty has a very large audience on Infowars and Dave reaches millions of people at stop hate I don't find it credible that you guys are complaining that your free speech is being Abridged when in fact you have Public Square massive massive platforms (10:20) I mean you're gonna have to explain me how they have they have they have to find me I'm not allowed YouTube I had 400,000 subscribers on YouTube I I'm banned for life on YouTube so I'm not allowed in the Public Square well and and I'll just say uh you know I think what what uh Shane was getting at and I I totally agree you know I'd say the the rainbow Flag represents a religion it represents a it represents a moral framework that is at odds with the Christian framework so uh and I I just think that's the case and (10:54) so I think it should be uh sort of categorized as a religion it is a moral framework just like any religion is that has good and bad and you know sin and and virtue that is at odds and different than the Christian virtues so I I you know you wouldn't see a public school have a bunch of kids uh parading around carrying crosses and you know indoctrinated into the religion of Christianity so it the the LGBT uh moral framework should also be banned from the public school because it is at odds with the moral framework of (11:29) probably most the people that send their kids there so I think treating if you're if you're going to say no moral teaching at all in school then that's got to include the the rainbow Flags got to get taken down just like uh you know the the the cross would be taken down if a if a teacher at a public school tried to push their religion on kids that wouldn't be accepted uh and and exactly as Shane said I've said it a million times on my show too just because they don't call it a religion doesn't mean it's not a (11:55) religion it has all of the aspects of a religion so it needs to be treated as one I think the the unfairness comes uh in the dichot the different treating the different treatment that these two moral Frameworks receive one is endorse and enforced by the state which makes our state a theocracy of sorts it's a state religion well Dave what do you what do you think about being that you're kind of boots on the ground guy you know at at a lot of events uh do you feel that there's a religious fervor an Evangelical fervor among the magga crowd (12:25) or do you think it's mostly political or or what do you think the split might be if you just I know it's hard to actually quantify that but but what's your feeling on it no I I I think yeah I think the majority of Maga would be your Christians because it seems like all the things on the other side of the spectrum that you know the old DE Democrats are gone in our opinion you know from where we sit it's it's you know we I know there's like three of you left bro and we still talk to you but but that's the thing I mean every every time every time (12:55) we say leftists Or democrats just imagine a little Ash trick that says not Pat we're not talking about you Pat it's all the other ones that we're talking about sorry D exactly but I mean look it's the to us it's the people that are anti-g good anti- morality anti- family anti fathers anti everything you know PR government Pro dependency all those things on uh you know the government's D and the the welfare state and the Foster system and the prison system things that are not good for America in the first place and you know when you see the perc (13:29) I think I saw today it's in the 40 percentile of Christians in America now we've we've dropped below 50% no wonder we're we're in the condition we're we're in and I agree with Harrison I've said it on many many shows it's the church's fault I'm the church we're all the church and and look when we went to you know helping ourselves and carrying ministering to ourselves instead of Outreach and trying and look we could have voted our faith we could have voted our conscience we could have voted our morals but we voted to turn the other (13:56) cheek so we could protect our 501c3 and not have to worry about anything and hey if people want to take the hell Express let them go that's never been the right attitude and we are suffering for in our school systems look y man I try to lead by example and I don't tell people to do things that I wouldn't do we pulled our last kid that was in school out of public school it's that bad homeschool do something find somebody to to educate your kid that's not there I think we should stop funding it all together it's (14:24) become a cesspool for nothing good for our kids and and listen I only have children in my family to ask those questions to and it's not a good experience for them so I mean these things all added up bro yeah I think the majority of the Christians the good ones the bad ones The Crazy Ones the wacky ones they're all probably on the Trump team right now which is going to be easy for everybody to blank it I heard a comment the other night the lady was saying it's the white Christians it's in Iowa I'm like wow come on man is this (14:53) the new stereotype is this the new place we're going to where you're literally going to criminalize being a white Christian I mean it's bad enough being white male you know a certain age range but Christian you're going to start doing that you know it's kind of sad dude well I'm having a great time being a white male of a certain age I I I I experience absolutely no uh no discrimination it's good for me I you know I I have a hard time understanding where you're coming from with that particular but you know oh come on (15:22) Patrick Patrick come on you know you know better than that you know there's discrimination against white people you know there's I mean the things they say about white I never experienced discrimination against white people in my entire life my 44 years on 44 years now on this planet I have never experienced discrimination based on the color of my skin sometimes the color of my skin in this respect but not the color of my natural skin so let me tell you two little stories the first one was in the 90s probably 95 96 I went to a (15:54) Nation of Islam meeting to hear farahan speak and I listened to to the MC John Wally price up there saying these crackers are going to get theirs and I'm thinking oh my gosh they're having some kind of barbecue and I'm not seeing any food anywhere and I'm thinking this this is a bad spot for me dude I really was intimidated I thought that my life was in danger at a few and I had two Black Panthers standing right next to me thinking man these people are going to grab me they're going to drag me up on stage they're going to kill me (16:26) make an example of it they're giving Paul fielding's number the coun out to a thousand people in here call this guy tell him what you think and I'm like these are violent things these people are saying but the other demographic I want you to check is the January Sixers that are in prison predominantly white predominantly Christian and a very way more than average percentage of ex law enforcement Leos uh military exmilitary sheriffs I mean we're seeing some really crazy and we know that you know our sheriffs and ex law enforcement and (17:00) stuff they're not quick to jump off they're trained for different things look this is an intentional very intentional system that's being turned on people just like all of us on the screen here for whatever reason and I know you don't feel like you fit in that right now brother but I guarantee soon enough you will if we can't stop what's going on with the labeling the othering of other all this prejudice and prejudging and putting people in Camp started with Hillary the deplorables now you got the insurrectionist (17:29) who gave Biden the right to put everyone in a classification of a citizen and to go after a whole class like that it's amazing to me it's like 60 civil rights things well I would like to uh to I know Shane Jo joined us late so I'd like to give uh Shane an opportunity to uh to discuss anything he would like to discuss and maybe ask questions of the rest of us um so that we we got to get out of here in the next 15 minutes but uh I'd like to give you an opportunity uh brother vaugh or Professor Toto whichever you prefer (18:07) uh to to get down with with talking to the rest of us thank you guys first of all it's great to meet you guys um we're all in the same battle here and um I bet uh I Professor Toto was created after a viral video about January the 6 that I created in 2020 had like 10 million views and that's what created the platform and what I've tried to use my platform for not necessarily even Trump support but I have of the I'm of a big belief that education is so important and I educate every Tuesday and Thursday night about the Republic I believe that (18:46) the the words democracy and Republic are more than just little nuances I believe there's a vast difference and that the Liberals have changed the Republic to a democracy and so I try to educate and one of the things that I I educate on is the public schools that you were just talking about Mr sumerall and uh most people don't know that America's public school system was created by Robert Robert Dell Owens um and if you study the Owens they hated religion if you'll I have direct quotes here a screen full of them where they (19:25) basically Robert Dell Owen said the purpose of the public schools when they created them was to Prejudice children against any religion uh that they learned superstitions from their parents um they objected to Sunday school I'm reading a direct quote in 1830 he said we object to the Sunday schools now conducted because they are under the control of the clergy who used the holy scriptures and superstitions of amiable young women to Aid them in becoming obedient wives on and on and on and he said anything I could do to deliver a child from the (20:07) Superstition of religious parents we would do and that's when he said that's why we've created the common school or the public school it's the greatest discovery ever made by man it delivers American children from clergy uh training and from religious schools so so the very roots of our public school system was designed to deliver our children from the Superstition of their parents for example I teach my children that there is an Almighty Creator and that he created them fearfully and wonderfully that he knew their every (20:50) hair on their head that's what our religion believes so I send my children to public school to be told that I'm wrong and I pay for that by the way I pay for them to go and be told that whatever your dad said bless his heart we're going to deliver you from him we're going to set you free from all that Superstition we are the superior religion we do believe in creation but we believe in it this way and so now I'm literally paying my government to retrain my children in their religion the state religion of evolution on and (21:31) on and on and now I teach my children there's only two genders and I pay my government to teach them that I'm wrong and you know we're going to set you free from that homophobic mentality it is a religion and we're paying for it and you and I that's why they hate me Newsweek I've been on Newsweek 32 times I was on Reuters News front page page of every newspaper because I will not surrender to their intimidation that I should shut up and preach to my little church and the United States of America is crumbling around us because of our (22:16) public school system and I'm with you Mr sumerall all of our church members all every one of them have withdrawn their children from the public school system that is the only way we have a voice in their lives because the minute we tell our children Numbers Chapter 4 and we show them in the word of God that if a man lays with another man like he does a woman that that is an Abomination to our God if we dare teach them that we don't have a right to that we that is wrong and I promise you in the next 10 years it will be hate speech (22:56) just like Tony spell was arrested my my friend in Baton Rouge during covid he was arrested because he wouldn't shut his church down neither would I when they arrested that man I went there and I stood up for the whole world and I said when this is over Tony spell will own the city of baton rou Louisiana I'm proud to say he just got a settlement I think for $75 million because that's the path we're headed down the church is hated and they want us to be on a rumble Channel where people have to dig to find us and that is where this is unfair (23:38) YouTube Facebook that is the new Public Square Twitter you and whenever they cut off Donald Trump the other night when he was doing his accepted speech that wasn't journalism that was censorship in America and if somebody doesn't wake up fast I don't know if there'll be anything to wake up to thank y'all for letting me join you today Patrick Patrick you might be muted I'm not hearing you I was muted sorry about that because I had to use the rest room in any event I the the the issue uh thank you Harrison the issue that I would take (24:19) with with what Shane just said um is that you know the cable news networks are they're capitalist operations right they're there to make money we pretend that they're there to give us news but they're there to make money MSNBC and CNN only care about the bottom line Fox is the same way every Network Newsmax oan that that's what they do they're there to make dollars right so if they decide if CNN and MSNBC as they did decide to to to cut off all of Trump's speech and fox decided to cut off all but the first seven minutes of it uh (24:57) they can do that and subject to the free market if people don't like the fact that they did that they won't watch it and I imagine none of CNN's viewers were pissed off that they cut it off completely and I bet maybe only about half of Fox's viewers were pissed off that they cut off after 7 minutes so if we're living in a real capitalist Society where we think the free market solves everything and last I checked Republicans do believe that the free market solves everything uh what's the problem if they make a bad business (25:30) decision they'll just get busted for it and I know this brings up a thing with Shane you have an alternate shopping uh situation going on right you have a like a Shopping Network that's for conservatives that's an alternative to like Walmart Target and all this business and I'm not trying to plug product here uh although if I were I would say that Turbo Force is awesome and you should buy some from info but just not plugging product I could say that you you've got an alternative I just think I believe in the free market (25:59) more than most Republicans do now isn't that weird well okay I aren't doctors in it for the bottom dollar aren't physicians in it Patrick to make money as well and yet there is a there's a hypocritic oath oh well okay well then they why would they still owe student loans they they're in it to make money I mean I mean surely to God there's a hypocritic oath I mean that you can't deny to me in an emergency situation just because I can't pay you okay that that there's generally accepted cultural societal Norms that have been in (26:40) place since the beginning if the news you think that applies to information I if if you're the if you're the journalist sure I mean you're journalist I think that's a very interesting perspective and I don't know how I feel about that but I've never heard it put that way that's Shane if I can just say the the hypocritic oath there's a couple different versions The the latest one is trash it literally has like I swear to uphold diversity it's nonsense but the one from like the 60s that they rewrote I've talked about it a lot on my show (27:13) and I've read the Hippocratic Oath on my show quite a few times because I think it should apply to journalists I think every word in the hipocratico should apply directly to journalism especially it has uh terms like it says I swear to avoid the twin traps of overtreatment and therapeutic nihilism and I think that applies to uh to information and to PO politics quite a bit right overtreatment and I I actually I gave a speech that was sort of centered on this it was the idea of you know overt treatment would be something like (27:43) fascism like we were talking about at the beginning of this conversation going you know what screw Freedom screw Liberty I want these problems fixed so I want fascism I want a dictator I want this solved immediately screw the repercussions and then there's therapeutic nihilism that says it feels good to give up it actually feels nice to go who I don't have to try anymore everything's screwed everything's I'm just going to relax and not worry about it feels good to be blackpilled a little bit so we have to avoid those (28:10) things as well the hypocritic oath should apply directly to to journalism I think uh to a very large degree but then there's the other thing that we're not uh a free market by any stretch and that's because of government intervention obviously and government um permitted monopolies on a lot of things but it's also the fact that there is a insinuated really globalist religion that's conquered the corporations where the way that CNN and Fox News make money is through the advertisers so the advertisers ultimately decide what goes (28:44) on and what doesn't and they'll withdraw advertising so it's not like it's not like Fox is just purely serving its audience and if its audience likes it then they'll make more money they have to answer to these corporations who all are intertwined and they're they're the bosses are hanging out at World economic Forum right now in Davos you know coordinating and figuring out what what do we want people talking about what do we not people want people talking about you know if somebody says this we are going to withdraw support from there so (29:10) you know the the levers of control through the corporations and the way the corporations manipulate uh mainstream media is extremely pervasive and uh I I just I think the idea that uh CNN and MSNBC and Fox News are are out there doing whatever it takes to make the most amount of money is is a little bit absurd because obviously they have lost huge amounts of money recently I mean the leftwing media is collapsing almost continuously Vice news went bankrupt Jezebel went bankrupt I mean you can go through the list of uh leftist news (29:42) outlets that have crumbled over the last just three months or so and it's like 20 long you know it's there's a lot of places that have collapsed if they were all about making money they wouldn't be making the choices that they're making they and and the people that are dictating that people who own the corporations and who uh Black Rock and and these people that are making these decisions they are above they print the money they're above money they have all the money they could possibly want money to them is a pathway to power they want (30:09) power and control and manipul like being able to control the thought process being able to control the information flow is so much more valuable than money I mean infinitely more valuable than money it's it's almost Beyond money being able to dictate what people think and and so therefore how vote I mean these people pay for that that power it's not about making money I don't think so Dave I wanted to ask you uh so so we've got we talked about homeschooling and and you know we've talked about um censorship and a whole (30:47) host of issues when it comes to uh censorship and and the education of of of our kids do you feel like your message like your documentary work from January 6 has been stifled do you feel like there there's been there have been Outlets where you've been able to get it out to people do you feel like younger people actually understand your argument or do you think that it's been completely you know compressed and and unavailable I I think the kids of J Sixers the family kids that have seen the work that have watched the (31:17) documentaries that have cried with us over them they get it they understand I I think by and large the public has been you know censored I think there's proof in our last movie we hit two million views put a sensitive label on it and it stopped all growth so it can't go viral it can't hardly be seen uh you know the Tucker interview got twice that many uh views but you have to go to the Tucker site and pay to watch the other half of the interview so it's kind of a you know gotta both ways deal so I don't understand but I know that you know the (31:47) truth has has been just like the January 6 tapes you know that the government has you know held over our head for three years like some kind of golden carrot you know oh you got to have this video we're going to release it we're not we are we're not when we've got plenty of public footage I mean it's the games it's the perception of freedom in this case it's the it's the thought that hey we're free you know as long as you know we have our sports activities and our weekends and our church on Sunday we're free but if you ask a j sixer they're (32:16) going to tell you something completely different we don't have the first the second the fourth the you know over and over on the list of freedoms that have been taken literally stolen robbed from these people god-given rights you can't use the first amendment in your trial in DC imagine not being able to say I went to a protest I went to redress my grievances I went for free speech I went to gather with my friends or I went with as a media you know as a as a videographer we've seen so many people even from the Press go to jail you know (32:48) for being there to video what was happening a big historical moment so you can't tell me that it's not skewed and that it's not owned and when you start talking about corporate corations paying these different media companies and making those kind of DEC it sounds a lot like our politicians with our lobbyists with our special interest and look man I'm not here to say we got it right I'm saying we all have to work together to get it right because it's on both sides it's systematic it's the unip party and if we can't figure out a way to work (33:18) together left and right like we're doing right here having conversations to see where we stand I mean that's the most important thing we can do but it's like I said in bloody Hill you know united we stand divided we die and literally they want us to fight they want us to hate each other they want us to kill each other they want us in a civil war and I don't want that none of my friends that I know do either so that's another big you know misconception that we're all some angry mob you know that went to Jason now we're an angry mob we want (33:47) it's dumb but people buy that man and it sells tickets because it's clickbait and we need to work that much harder to make sure those things don't happen because we're Dangerously close bro yeah I appreciate that hey guys I I really appreciate everybody's participation today Harrison Smith Dave sumerall Shane vaugh um let's do this again sometime I think this was a good conversation and again this wasn't about having a debate about political issues it was just getting a perspective from uh three different uh fellas who I think (34:19) have unique perspectives on what's going on politically Now in America and uh I I sure do appreciate your time and your effort thanks for having thank you for having me yeah thank you thank you for putting this together and so nice to meet both y'all have to do this again sometime this has been fun I feel like we just we barely scratch the surface on all this stuff we can talk about we want more see if the people share this around thank you Patrick

Summary

This panel discussion examines the relationship between Christianity, MAGA politics, education, media, and public morality. Professor Toto first defends his description of Donald Trump as “a messiah,” explaining that he means a chosen or anointed national deliverer rather than Jesus Christ. The conversation then broadens into criticism of churches that avoid political and cultural issues. The panelists argue that secular moral systems have replaced Christian influence in public schools, government, corporations, and media. Homeschooling and stronger church engagement are presented as responses to these developments. The clearest scriptural language appears when the speaker says children are “fearfully and wonderfully” made and that God knows every hair on their heads, identifying Psalm 139:14 and Matthew 10:30. The speaker later mistakenly cites “Numbers Chapter 4” while quoting wording that unmistakably belongs to Leviticus 18:22. Another panelist refers to churches “turning the other cheek,” identifying Matthew 5:39. The conversation concludes with concerns about censorship, January 6 prosecutions, media influence, political division, and the danger of civil conflict.
