Summary
The speaker teaches the first session of an all-day lesson he titles the immortality of the soul and what really happens at death. He argues that man was created to rule over animals, that the human mind is the spirit, and that the Holy Spirit gives the mind of God. He teaches that believers have only the hope of eternal life, that the soul is a breathing body which dies, and that the dead sleep until the resurrection and judgment. He closes by saying the spirit returns to God at death while the body returns to dust.
