(00:01) there's something I've been thinking about that I want to deal with um there's so much anger in our country there's so much anger in our nation it just seems like everybody's mad about something I just go in the grocery store and uh just watch people just drive down the road just watch people everybody is angry just there's just an unleashing of anger in the world today everywhere you look and you know I as a child I don't remember that anger I don't remember that level of antagonism that is in the world today
(00:47) now where does that come from where does that volcano find its Origins that's beginning to erupt everywhere it balls down to this in every man there is an innate need for justice justice is part of the human experience it is every society one of their benchmarks has been the quest for justice the reason that the anger is so uh obnoxious and so in your face now um is be and and especially among the races uh man I've never seen the races becoming so divided I've never in my life I've preached in more black churches than
(01:46) probably white churches I've I and Hispanic churches and and in those churches I I just didn't see this this anger of the races because in the presence of the Lord there it it all falls away in the true presence of the Lord so then I begin to look at the races the the black race I hope I'm being politically correct by saying the black race I don't know what whether to say Africa I don't you never know anymore but I'll just say the the the black I can't say colored that's disrespectful you don't know what to say anymore you just don't know
(02:27) anything you say it offends somebody so uh I look at the American Indians we have a lady in our church that uh is American Indian and she's talked to me about some of the horrors that her forefathers have endured and of course we all know the horrors that the black race endured and when you look at this anger that's coming up among the races the Holy Spirit I talked to the Lord about it for several weeks now and it all comes from a spirit of bitterness the spirit of bitterness is the worst spirit that you can let get a
(03:12) hold of your heart but where does the spirit of bitterness come from from a seeming Injustice when you feel that you have been done wrong and that wrong has not been made right you begin to get very bitter and bitter turns into anger and anger into hatred hatred into isolation and separation but all of it comes from a spirit of bitterness bitter about what it's very simple people in this Fallen World have been done wrong and as I search my heart to understand the races I try I said Lord I want to understand my black brothers and sisters the the uh
(04:06) I want to understand what what is going on and that's when he revealed to me the spirit of bitterness and how that injustices have been done and in the white race we we want to say well and I know I have said it well I didn't do that to you so let's move on that that's our answer you know the white folks we truly I've never done anything that I know of to a black man so in my mind and my perception and my uh first thought is like well hey I didn't do that to you I wasn't here back then uh that uh so let's get past it but when you begin to
(04:51) think a little bit harder and you begin to take on the mindset of of the black man there was an injustice done and to their way of thinking and possibly to their correct way of thinking justice has never come for them the same way with the Indian population they're are very bitter people they had a grave Injustice done to them and in their minds a reservation in Oklahoma is not just Justice to the black man many great uh civilizations was built on their backs and they don't feel like they've been repaid for that and therefore that creates within
(05:50) that population an injustice now remember I told you the spirit of bitterness comes from an injustice that's never been Justified is there a solution is there a solution to all of this I've told you the problem the problem is bitterness Injustice and yes injustices have been done that have never been made right we've swept it under the rug and the more we sweep it under the rug the more anger begins to grow forth among the black people and the Indian people and uh so you ask the question is there a solution and there
(06:31) is there absolutely is a solution the sad thing is 99% of the world will never get that solution because it comes from Faith let me give you an example if you are watching me and you have a child and let's say someone killed your child they took your child and took him and killed him all of a sudden an injustice has been done to you the scales are unbalanced at that point anytime the scales get unbalanced we get a feeling of Injustice rightly so the black man the Indian man feels like the scales have been unbalanced and
(07:20) they have I mean I can't deny that as a white man my ancestors what they did I I I can't deny the horrid nature of what they did to do so angers my black brothers and sisters even more because to sweep it under the rug is to say your Injustice doesn't matter now on another frame of thinking I've always wondered what could possibly be done to write that wrong reparations I mean money I mean how do you ever balance that scale I don't think you can so let's get back to the point about the the parent with the child someone kills
(08:08) your child the first feeling you feel is Injustice and then the next feeling you feel is you want to go out and find who killed your child hang them up by the their toes and uh bring Justice because you've been done wrong now you want that wrong to be equaled out and you want to go do it but in a civilized society we don't allow that we don't allow you to go out and seek Justice on your own and there's a reason we don't do that because what gets involved is your emotions and rather than bringing Justice you may go and tilt the scales
(08:50) even worse than they already were and do more of an injustice to the other person out of your emotions than they rightly deserve maybe instead of killing that person you'll kill everybody in his family now the scales are unjust again and now you're the one that's coming up slacking that now they've been done an injustice and now the bitterness grows back and forth back and forth so in a civilized society we have what's called a district attorney the district attorney is the Seeker of Justice the Avenger of injustices so if someone
(09:26) kills your child you don't go seek after the Killer you go down to the district attorney's office you file the charges and you transfer onto the district attorney your burden of bitterness you place upon the district attorney the job of Seeking Justice on your behalf now that emotion in you to kill that emotion will not quite be there because you're you're in Justice is being handled by the courts of Justice they're going to seek Justice for you they're going to find the perpetrator and they're going to give him the
(10:10) appropriate punishment that will bring those scales back into balance and therefore give you justice and then at that moment your feeling of bitterness goes away you still feel the pain you still feel the hurt but justice has been done now just like we transfer that responsibility to the district attorney we have faith that the district attorney will do his job there's a scripture in the Bible where Yahweh tells us that vengeance is mine saeth the Lord I will repay so to those that have per received an injustice in this life the black race
(10:59) the Indian race and even people in other races that have had grave injustices you are living in a fallen satanic evil world and Justice is not promised in this world the only thing promised in this world is tribulation not Justice we desire it and rightly so but we have no promise of justice but here's a promise that we do have we do have a promise called the Sabbath day it's the seventh day or the 7,000th year of the creation of man it is when Yeshua will return to our Earth the great lawgiver the prince of peace
(11:47) and at that day all Justice will be in his hands and every wrong that has been done to you will be made right everyone will be judged according to their works and there will be a due benevolence there will be a due judgment issued now if you're watching me and you believe that if you truly believe that and you may not you may not have faith you may not believe that Messiah is coming back if you're not then you're of all men most miserable you should be bitter you should be angry you should be filled with hate because you're living in your
(12:34) heaven right now and there's no justice there but if you are a Believer and you believe that vengeance is mine sayith Yahweh I will repay then immediately you have to let go of your bitterness immediately you have to transfer that to the district attorney yua himself our high priest our our mediator that's our district attorney he's pleading our case if you transfer it to him then you can believe vengeance is his you don't need anything else except knowing that when he returns he's going to make everything right that will release from your
(13:21) heart the bitterness of Injustice yes the Injustice is real and all the rioting in the world is never going to bring that Justice why we're living in Satan's Eden we're living in Satan's government hassatan he loves to render evil for evil but if you're watching me and you're a believer of the black race of the Indian race Let It Go I cannot help my generation cannot help what happened we had no hand in that and yet we get the blame for the sins of our fathers lay down the bitterness and know the Sabbath day is coming the Glad Millennial Reign is
(14:18) coming where Vengeance will be given where Justice will be done and where all rights all wrongs will be made right that's a reason to Rejoice that's a reason to embrace every member of every race and take them in your arms and love them and know that nobody owes anybody anything it was Satan that brought this evil upon the Earth and into the hearts of men and one day soon our Lord will fix it all when you realize that you can let the spirit of bitterness go and enjoy freedom in the spirit God bless you have a great
(15:10) evening
Summary
This message addresses racial division, bitterness, and the human longing for justice. Vaughn teaches that unresolved injustices often produce bitterness, anger, and separation, but argues that believers should entrust ultimate justice to Yahweh rather than pursue vengeance themselves. The sermon centers on Romans 12:19 and presents the coming millennial reign of Messiah as the time when all wrongs will be judged and made right.
