(00:01) Well, we're starting tonight. We're picking up on part number five, six or seven, somewhere in there uh of the uh the magician and the Messiah. And I want to start off tonight with a graphic to help you understand that uh what you're learning in these classes is so beyond important. literally so beyond important.
(00:31) I want to show you where the great falling away of the church took place. Um, and I want you to follow me through this timeline. Now, so many Christian churches u teach that we're waiting on the great falling away. But at First Harvest Ministries, we understand that the great falling away happened 1600 years ago.
(01:00) It's nothing that we're waiting on. The Christian church teaches that the Antichrist, we're waiting for the Antichrist to come, but we're not. The Antichrist came 1600 years ago. Now, on this chart, if you'll look to the left, you're going to find the apostolic era. I really would like for all of you to begin uh putting that word apostolic into your repertoire and and saying it more often because we actually are apostolic Israelites.
(01:41) We connect with the apostolic era. Now, the apostolic era was from the time that Christ died AD30 up until AD70 when the temple was destroyed. We're still in the apostolic era. After the temple was destroyed, the church, the true church, the apostolic Israelite church moved its headquarters headquarters was Jerusalem.
(02:22) Someone tell me where the new headquarters was after Jerusalem of the true church, the apostolic church. >> You're close. You're close. You're very close. >> Who of Asia? >> As Asia. >> Asia. >> Asia. >> That's true. That is true. Give me a little more detail beside just Asia. >> Asia Minor. >> Asia Minor. >> That's good.
(02:50) I need a little more detail than that. the the head >> and Philadelphia and Philadelphia. >> Okay. Actually, that's all true, but to make it completely true, it would be Ephesus because Ephesus was in Asia Minor and Ephesus became the hub of all the seven churches. So remember that here is where the great split happens. The false church, the tears is over in Rome.
(03:25) >> The the true apostolic church has moved to Asia Minor, Ephesus. Now, why do I say Ephesus? Because John the beloved, the one that wore the high priest garment, John the Apostle, John the Elder, moved to Ephesus. Okay? So wherever the leader is, that's headquarters. And so John the apostle moves headquarters to Ephesus.
(03:57) Now after that 150 AD is a is about the end of the apostolic era. Now we start moving into the great divide where the early church fathers so-called if you don't have my book the fake fathers you need to get it this is where they come in justice and and Oregon Tertullian and then in 33 now this is when the Catholic Church is forming completely right in this era in 313 13 AD is when Constantine issued his edict that he had had a dream and saw Christ in the sun and that all of the empire must become Christians and forcing them to convert and they
(05:01) brought their paganism with them. All of this began happening in that era. 3:25 is the council of Nya where we get uh the false teachings, the doing away of the Sabbath, the doing away of the feast days, the doing away of all things Jewish. This is the council where anti-semitism was born.
(05:30) This is where the Nazi hatred got their life from was this council. And then by the time you get to 400 A, you have arrived at institutionalized Christianity, the Trinity, uh, incarnation, uh, marology, all of the false doctrines introduced by Simon Magus now find themselves here in this dead institution. And so when we tell people, you know, I had someone tell me on Facebook today, Elder Peachy was uh debating quite effectively with a sister on Facebook about incarnation.
(06:18) It's the most damnable doctrine in the Christian church that God uh became something that he's not and which is flesh. And so he was debating them and the woman said to me, she said, 'Well, then you're not a Christian.' And I thought to myself, what true words. Because she just said, by the way, we're almost at uh we're getting close to an attendance max tonight, hitting that 200 number again.
(06:54) Praise the Lord. 198. And so just 10 more people and we'll break a record. Send them in, Lord. So they she said, "You're not a Christian then." And I said, "You know, that's true because by the time you get to 400 AD, Christianity is all of those things. Incarnation, Trinity, marology, everybody's going to heaven, praying to dead people.
(07:22) That's Christianity." And I I said, 'You know, you may be more right than you realize because if that institution is what Christianity is, then I'm not that. I'm apostolic. I'm Israelite. And so this needs to stay in your mind forever. Now, what I want to show you is where headquarters move to so you can get a better idea in your mind because you need to know, you know, I have a membership over at um where you research your family, whatever it's called.
(08:04) I've forgotten the name of it, your bloodlines and your DNA. And uh you know it's exciting to find out but I find more excitement in finding my true family which I'm finding in these lessons right here. So it's really exciting. We're finding the people that we came from and it's it's really amazing to to see that happening right before our eyes.
(08:29) So let me show you headquarters uh in the apostolic era. Now, John moved to Ephesus. That's the new headquarters of the true church. No longer Jerusalem, but Ephesus. Now, uh, right outside of Ephesus, you will find Antioch, Jerusalem, Alexandria, but up around Ephesus in Asia Minor is where you'll find Smyrna, and all of the seven churches.
(09:14) So that look down at Jerusalem. Look down at Jerusalem. When John left Jerusalem, followed that all the way over to the new headquarters of the true Zedekite priesthood. Now look all the way across and you'll find Rome. That is the headquarters of the synagogue of Satan. That is Simon Magus's church that Polycarp called the firstborn son of Satan. This is his church.
(09:53) The true church is over here under John. All right? So, just want you to have a clear understanding of these things before we move forward. So, Asia Minor was the apostolic stronghold. Tonight I'm going to touch just a little bit more on Polycarp, but then we're going to move in to Papus. And we need to understand where they lived, why it matters, because after the destruction of Jerusalem, the center of apostolic authority shifted to Asia Minor.
(10:32) So if you're going to look for church fathers, do not look to Rome. look to Asia Minor, specifically Ephesus, Smyrna, and there's another town I want to teach you tonight called Hieropouloolis. I don't know if the H is silent or not, but I think that's how you pronounce it. Hieropouloolis. It is spelled uh H I A P O L I S. The H may be silent. I'm not sure.
(11:05) But uh this is where Hierropolis is a very important city in your family history. So what you're learning tonight is family history, your DNA. And when we get to Hierropolis, you're going to find out that another apostle was alive in Hierropolis and his name was Stila. Philillip. You're going to learn a lot about Philillip tonight.
(11:36) He's very important in these things. So, as we move along, I'm going to try my best to give you as much graphics as I can so that you don't get lost because I really want you to know who you are and where you are from. Remember all three cities, Smyrna, Hieropoulos, and Ephesus are all within a 100 miles of each other.
(12:06) Okay? So if you were living in Wavelin, you would think of Mobile, Alabama, New Orleans, Beluxy, that's how close these three churches. They were the apostolic hub. They were the center. And they were where two living apostles were still alive, John and Philillip. And this was their center of influence.
(12:38) Now John chose Ephesus, Philillip chose Hieropoulos, and the seven churches of Asia are all in this route. Paul's letters to the Colossians to the Ephesians Paul's letter to Leodysa all are circulating in this 100mile radius. So this is a very strategic location to your original faith. When we talk about apostolic succession, you cannot find it in Rome.
(13:17) You will only find it in Asia Minor. So when we talk about what the apostles really taught, these are the people that knew what the apostles taught. Now there were two pillars in the apostolic era. John the beloved and Philillip. They were twin pillars. Now, we know that John was the beloved that leaned on Yeshua's breast. We know he took over the family of Christ, the mother of Christ.
(13:53) We know that he wore the high priest Petalon. We know that he was the Zetakite high priest. And we know he settled in Ephesus. And we also know he was the last surviving apostle. He died around a hundred AD and that's when the apostolic age ended. Now I want to make something very clear. The ministry gift of apostle has never died.
(14:26) However, there must be a clear distinction between the original apostles. They have a place in the church all to themselves. They carry an honor and they should be referred to as the original apostles. And uh now here's where it gets interesting. Before John dies, John the Apostle, he makes a very uh pointed decision to ordain the next high priest of the Zetakite succession.
(15:06) and you're going to find out what he did was amazing. Now, let's talk about Philip the Apostle. Philip died around 80 AD, 20 years before John. But here's something that most people miss. Philip the Apostle settled in this region. Now, let me see. I want to show you what um was written about Philip the apostle by Irenaeus.
(15:38) I'll pull the quote up for you now to see. You need to know your history saints. Irenaeus which was you know a historian. He said, "In Asia, great lights have fallen asleep, which shall rise again on the day of the Lord's coming." U so that would mean they're not in heaven. Absolutely.
(16:03) You're going to find out FHMI has apostolic doctrine that we preach. And he said among one of those lights that had fallen asleep was Phillip, one of the twel apostles. And where did Philip fall asleep? In Hierropolis and his two aged virgin daughters and another daughter who lived in the Holy Ghost and now rest at Ephesus.
(16:37) I want you to remember that one daughter that lived in the Holy Ghost. She was a very special daughter of Philillip. And we'll talk about her more in just a moment. But this is Polycrates, a historian, what he had to say about Philillip the apostle who was living at that time. Let's turn uh to the book of Acts chap 21 verse 8 and verse 9.
(17:09) and we will read there. Sister Von, if you're watching, would you bring me an lollipop to drink? Thank you. All right, let's go and read Acts 21:8-9. Amen. And the next day we that were of Paul's company departed and came unto Cesaria. And we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven, and abode with him.
(17:47) And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy. All right, for all you people that don't believe women can preach, this is the four daughters. Oh, and trust me, they're much more important than you've ever heard before tonight. These are the four daughters of Philip the Apostle.
(18:15) And every one of them were preachers. The word prophesy simply means to speak under divine uncction. That's what a preacher does. These were the four preaching daughters of Philillip. Now remember the one that Polycrati said lived in the Holy Ghost. That was Hermione. And she traveled to Ephesus. She left her father in Hierropolis and went to Ephesus and established a healing ministry.
(18:56) You could say she was the Katherine Kman of her day. She prayed for the sick and they were healed. Her ministry was in divine healing and she lived, the Bible said, in the Holy Ghost. The second daughter also traveled uh her name was Udicus and she moved to Ephesus with Herion. They worked together healing the sick.
(19:26) The other daughter stayed with her father Philillip. Her name was Areas and then Sherolene. They both remained with their father Philillip there in hieropoulos to help him in the work there. Now according to polycrates these daughters were considered great lights and mighty luminaries.
(19:57) That's what Polycrates called these four daughters great lights. Okay. Now let's see what uh Ucibius said about these daughters. Ucibius, another church historian, what he has to say about the daughters. Notice what he said. Quadratus was renowned along with the daughters of Philillip for his prophetical gifts. And there were many other besides these who were known in those days and who occupied the first place among successors of the apostles.
(20:50) Do what? Four daughters are successors of the apostles. Did you hear what this just said? These four daughters were the successors of the apostles. These were preaching women. >> This was preaching women who were successor. Now, I don't know if being a successor of an apostle makes you an apostle. I'm not sure about that.
(21:34) But they were successors of the apostles. What does that mean? If you are a successor, I don't know how you can be a successor to a pastor if you don't become a pastor. I'm not sure how that works. But I but according to history, these four daughters were so powerful that you're going to find out in a moment that Polycarp and Papus went to those four daughters to learn from them.
(22:08) It's amazing when you begin to study these things. Now, there are those that teach that women cannot preach. They can't prophesy. They can't share the gospel. They cannot teach. And yet, we have four women explicitly identified as prophetices. I need somebody to tell me how you prophesy when you have to be silent. I reckon we could sign language prophesy.
(22:45) Bunch of dummies. >> Apostle. >> Yes, sir. >> Could that be a symbol to us of the the four women of the faith being Sarah, uh, Rebecca, Rachel, and Leia? >> The more things change, the more they stay the same. The circle continues upward. These four daughters were so important in the early church and they were considered successors of the apostles.
(23:19) Four women whose teachings people traveled great distances according to these historians to listen to these women teach. These four women had a bishop by the name of Papus and you're going to read about in a minute who was a student of John went to these four daughters to be taught the apostolic succession in Asia Minor dare I say went through women.
(24:01) If you've not read my book, Women Keep Silent, you need to because at First Harvest Ministries, we teach it by the book, honey. By the book. And according to the book and according to history, these women were the successors of the apostles. It didn't say that the gospel went around them, but it said it went through them.
(24:33) And there is no other way at all. You know, the Bible itself goes into great detail about these women to point them out in the book of Acts about Philip's four daughters. They were all virgins. This means that they had devoted their life to the work of Yahweh. And uh let me show you what that succession looks like just so you can understand if you follow the succession from Yesua.
(25:11) It goes to John and Philillip, the other apostles. But right after that is Philillip's daughters. They come before Polycarp and Papius, these four daughters of Philillip. And this is a a great insight that we've never had before. Okay. So, uh, Polycarp is working with these women and you're going to find out that Papius worked with them as well.
(25:48) Now I want to answer a question that someone sent me last week. They said, "How if John was so old did he ordain Polycarp?" So let me go through the timeline of how that happened. So John the Apostle was born around 6 AD or 10 AD, anywhere between 6 and 10 AD. He died at 100 AD which means he was 90 to 94 years old. All right.
(26:22) Polycarp was born in 69 AD. He died in 155 AD. He lived to be 86 years old. Now, we believe that John the Apostle, which is the first cousin of Yesua, Am I boring y'all tonight? I I'm sorry. I'm just Okay. I hope not. This is great. >> Okay. >> No, sir. >> I feel like maybe I'm going a little too deep. I >> Not at all.
(26:50) >> All right. >> Not at all. >> No. >> Thank you. Okay. I just needed a little reassurance that I wasn't losing nobody out there tonight. >> All right. So, let's do this and let's continue. I want to pull up a graphic here for you. Uh if Yesua and John were or John were first cousins, then it's most likely that John the Apostle started following Yesua around 20 years old, which would be 30 AD. Okay. Polycarp was born in 69 AD.
(27:30) John died in 100. That means Polycarp was approximately 31 years old when John died. But the ordination of Polycarp, now y'all got to understand something. In the apostolic church, they didn't think of ordination like y'all do. Okay? They understood the ordination was transferring authority, the laying on of hands.
(28:06) That's why the Bible said lay hands suddenly on no man because you're transferring authority down the line. So in those days when you were ordained by an apostle, authority was being transferred, apostolic authority. When an apostle lays hands on you and ordains you, they are transferring legitimate authority down the line for after they're dead and gone so that the work will continue.
(28:40) And so John the Apostle laid hands, listen to this carefully, on Polycarp in his mid20s and John would have been in his late 80s by then. So Polycarp would have been mid20s. And this was strategic. Why would John, a hundred-year-old man almost transfer the authority to a 20 year old because he needed somebody that was going to live a long time to keep the church in order.
(29:35) Polycarp was a very special young man and the Bible said he was studious of John's teachings. You know, it reminds me right now uh if I knew that I was about to die, I would probably try to look for the youngest man I've got that knows this message. Why? they would ensure that the truth of what I've taught will last another hundred years.
(30:06) So John chose the young Polycarp and ordained him in his mid20s so that the chain of apostolic authority would extend for decades because for think about it for 60 years Polycarp would carry the mantle after John's death and he carried it from 95 AD all the way to 155 AD and that John set it up that way on purpose. So 86 years is how long he lived.
(30:43) Now as we continue, Polycarp died in 155 to 167 AD. When the soldiers came to arrest Polycarp, he fed them dinner and he asked them for one hour to pray before they arrested him. But history says he prayed for two hours, not one. And they said when he prayed, the soldiers said that he prayed for the soldiers and he prayed for the emperor and he prayed for all those he had ever come in contact with small and great.
(31:31) They brought Polycarp before the emperor and he was told swear by the fortune of Caesar and say away with the atheist because if you didn't believe Caesar was God, you were an atheist. And they told Polycarp, "ALL YOU'VE GOT TO DO, SIR, all you have to do, everything you have to do is just say that Caesar is God and you can live. No problem.
(32:08) " And the story is told, and it's an amazing story. Polycarp looked at him and said these words. 86 years I've served him and he's never done me any injury. How then can I blaspheme my king and my savior? And then they lit the fire all around him and let the wild beast out to eat Polycarp. And he said, "You threaten me with fire that burns for an hour, and after a little while, it's extinguished, but are ignorant of the fire of the coming judgment and punishment reserved for the ungodly.
(33:00) " He told them there was a fire of judgment coming on the ungodly, an eternal punishment that was coming on the ungodly. He said, "I couldn't care less about this judgment that lasts for an hour." And brothers and sisters, it was in that moment that history tells us the flames literally, and this comes from eyewitnesses that wrote it down.
(33:29) The flames literally would not touch his body. The flames went out, they said, and an arch over his body. And because the flames wouldn't touch him, they pierced him with a sword and his blood and water poured out and put out the fire. He did not die in the fire. He died from the sword. And that is the life story of Polycarp.
(34:01) He was burned at the stake. He was the Zetakite high priest. Let's prove tonight that he inherited the petal that John wore the high priest head plate. Number one, Polycarp Polycarp was ordained by John himself. If John held the Zetakite custodianship, if John wore the Petalone, then when John ordained Polycarp, he was transferring that authority.
(34:38) Not just the authority of a local bishop of Smyrna, but the authority of the apostolic succession that John himself received from Yeshua at the cross. And then Polycarp's name is so prophetic literally meaning Ephraim, the scattered house, much fruit. And then Polycarp confronted Marcion face to face. And then Polycarp stood against the pope of Rome over Easter and Passover.
(35:19) So all the signs are there that Polycarp inherited the throne of the Zedekite priesthood from John the beloved. And therefore when you are studying when you are studying church history and the history of our people you have to remember one man is the bridge and that's the man. He is the bridge that stands between the apostolic era and the postappostolic era.
(35:57) Ephraim, the name of the man that bridged it, much fruit, the scattered house. And this is why you must understand it. Now, Polycarp had a disciple. Hollycarp had a successor. I call him the forgotten guard because he is the most important and yet the most neglected figure in church history. Can I ask for a show of hands of anyone that had heard of Papus before these classes? You know why? You're fixing to find out why.
(36:44) Papus was the successor of Polycarp. I want to tell you a little bit about Papus now as we move into the next in line for the Zetakite throne. Number one, Papus was born in 60- 70 AD, meaning he was older than Pol younger than Polycarp. He died around 163 AD. He was the bishop of Ayopoulos. And by the way, Ayuropoulos is modernday P uh Pomocale, Turkey.
(37:30) P A M U K K A L E T Turkey near Leodysa and Colossia. Now he was a companion of Polycarp. He also sat under John's teaching, but he did not get the Petalon from John. Polycarp did. However, Papus and Polycarp were both John's students, but Papius was younger than Polycarp. His name Papius simply means the guard. So John the apostle did not just ordain a bishop because he ordained uh Papus the bishop of of Ayopoulos where Philip the apostle lived.
(38:22) So he's now ordained as bishop of there but his name means guardian or the guard. So John did not just ordain a bishop he ordained a guard. And what did Papius do? He guarded the apostolic tradition or the johnine tradition. He collected all the testimonies Papus did of everyone that had ever talked with Christ or that had talked with the apostles.
(39:03) Papus was a collector of testimonies. The story says that any witness of the life of the apostles, Papus wrote it down. He had they said he was an interrogator of people to get their stories of that time. Now Papus wrote five books. He preserved in those five books original apostolic truth. He protected and guarded the living voices of those that walked with Yeshua.
(39:45) He was ordained a guardian. Irenaeus said that Papus was a hearer of John and a companion of Polycarp, a man of old time. Jerome wrote, these are all historians, that Papus was the bishop of Aropouolis who was a disciple of John the divine and a companion of Polycarp. Philippus wrote another historian Papus bishop of Hierropolis who was a disciple of John and a companion of Polycarp wrote five books of the Lord's oracles.
(40:33) And then here's one I want to show you. Let's see if that you read this one with me. This comes from the Codeex Vaticus the Alexandrinus. It said here beginth the argument to the gospel according to John. The gospel of John was made known and given to the churches by John while he yet remained in the body as one papus by name of a beloved disciple of John has related in his five exoteric books.
(41:22) But he wrote down the gospel at the dictation of John. It was Atheist that wrote the book of John. >> Wow. >> Wow. Amen. >> Amazing. >> Amen. And nobody knows about him. Papus wrote John dictated and Papus wrote it all down. And Papus had five books where he wrote down everything in those five books. So according to this source, Papius was John's personal scribe.
(42:04) He transcribed the gospel of John from John's own mouth. And so Papius was young enough to have personally heard John the Apostle in John's final years. and old enough to have been Polycarp's student and companion and therefore the immediate successor of Polycarp. Now Polycarp was bishop of Ayuropoulos. Who lived in Ayuropoulos? Anyone? >> Phillip.
(42:43) >> Phillip and his two >> daughters. daughters. >> Now, we know from Papius's writings that he knew Philip's daughters because they all lived in the same city. You've got to realize back then a town was one street, if you will. Okay? They both lived uh Papius and the daughters of Philip because Philip is dead who took over his ministry.
(43:16) the two daughters that stayed there and he was the last uh John he was a disciple of John the last surviving apostle companion of Polycarp. So this was a very very very important man. Now Papus learned from John the Apostle. He learned from Polycarp. He learned from another man by the name of Aristion who was a disciple of Christ. And he also learned from Philillip's daughters.
(44:00) And I'm going to see if I can find that for you. I'm going to quote because I didn't do a graphic. This is from Ucibius a historian. He said Papus their contemporary says that he heard many wonderful things from the daughters of Philillip for he relates that in his time one rose from the dead through the ministry of the daughters of Philillip.
(44:34) They was raised from the dead. These four women were and Papus wrote down how they were raising the dead. Now, do you see why one daughter went over to Ephesus to start a healing ministry? This was a bunch of Katherine Kman's. Now, Philillip of Syd who is another historian said Pepeus reported as having received his teachings from the daughters of Philillip.
(45:11) And he tells us from the daughters of Philillip that there was a man by the name of Barcabus who drank the venom of a viper in the name of Messiah and suffered no harm. So they had snake handling going on back then. He drank the venom of a viper and suffered no harm. So all of the apostles, every single one of them winds up in Papus.
(45:51) Now I know you want to know about the book that Papus wrote because all of you are already on Amazon ready to buy those five books. Well, it's a tragedy. The title of the books he wrote was called The Exposition of the Sayings of the Lord. Five volumes. Here's what's included. The interpretations of Christ's sayings, oral traditions from the apostles, stories about the early church, information about how the gospels were written, accounts of miracles, teachings about the millennial reign and the coming kingdom, details about Judas's
(46:34) death. But the problem is the Catholic Church destroyed them all. I'll tell you why they destroyed them in just a moment. All of Papius's writings, all that's left, there was a librarian in the Vatican that preserved when they were told to destroy the writings, preserved a few fragments that we have today. But the books of Papus were destroyed by his holiness, the Pope of Rome.
(47:23) And when I tell you why he destroyed them, you'll scream out, "I'm one of them." Amen. Let me show you why he destroyed them. See if I can pull that up. I'm going to read this to you straight from the Catholic Encyclopedia. This is why all of Papius's writings are gone. This comes from the Catholic Encyclopedia.
(47:56) The cause of the loss of this precious work of an apostolic father was the calistic view which he taught. Do you know why they destroyed all of his books? because he taught what Pastor Vaughn teaches that no one's going to heaven but the kingdom is coming to earth. That's called killism. And he taught what I preach. And the Roman Catholic Church didn't want anybody believing they wasn't going to heaven.
(48:26) People might quit coming to church. >> Amen. He taught truth. >> Amen. >> He taught the truth. Papus taught what you hear preached every Sabbath day. The Catholic Church destroyed his books because he believed in killism. Do you know what killism is? The millennial reign of Christ for a thousand years on planet Earth. Papus taught what FHMI teaches and the church hates.
(49:01) If you take heaven away from a Christian, they will hate you. And the proof is in the pudding. I didn't make that quote up for you. I think I ought to show it to you one more time. I want you to just percolate on this. And I want to show you when you hear your pastor preach this TRUTH TO YOU. PEOPLE DIED FOR THIS TRUTH. You think YOU WANT TO CRY LIKE A BUNCH OF little like a bunch of babies cuz people's picking on you for WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN.
(49:39) YOU AIN'T WORTHY of this truth. Uh if you don't EMBRACE IT AND LOVE IT AND DEFEND IT. PEOPLE DIED FOR THIS FAITH. >> HALLELUJAH. AMEN. APOSTLE, >> you ought to be the most grateful people on the face of the earth that you found a papus in your day. SOMEBODY'S STILL TEACHING THESE ANCIENT APOSTOLIC TRUTHS THAT'S NOT BEEN PERMEATED BY CATHOLICISM, PROTESTANTISM, AND every other ism. Oh, blessed be God.
(50:11) Hallelujah. >> Amen. >> Hallelujah. >> Oh, what a blessed people we are. We take it >> thank you father. >> Oh thank God are worth dying for. >> Oh men gave their lives polycarp paprius. They gave their lives to preach the kingdom is coming to earth. Now how did they lose his books? It's simple.
(50:41) They chose not to copy it and preserve it. The way they kept books back then in those libraries, they would choose which ones to copy and preserve, and if they didn't like what this one said, they just didn't copy it. That was a lot of work to copy a book back then. The cause of the loss of Papius's work was because of the kilastic view which he taught.
(51:15) In other words, his books were not copied and preserved because he taught that we're not going to heaven. Amen. >> I'm one of them. >> We'll take it. We'll take it. >> I'm one of them. >> I'm one of them. >> I'm one of them. I'm one of them. >> I'm one of them. >> I'm one of them. >> You're one of them. one of them.
(51:43) >> So, we do have a few fragments of his books and I think I'll read some of those fragments for you tonight. And if Elder Jan is watching, she's going to love this one. Elder Jan, get ready for this one. This one's going to be right up your little alley. Papius wrote in the fragment that we have.
(52:13) He wrote about the Gospel of Matthew. And here's what Papus said. Matthew put together the oracles of the Lord in the Hebrew language. And each one interpret them the best they could from Hebrew. That's what Papius said. that Matthew was first written not in Greek but in Hebrew. Amen. And that may be another reason they didn't copy his writings because Papus, we've got the fragment.
(52:49) Papius said the book of Matthew, the book of Matthew was written in Hebrew. And Elder Jan has held to that for many years. And I have as well that I believe that the book of Matthew, I believe all the gospels, but definitely the book of Matthew was first written in the Hebrew language. We have another fragment that I'd like to read to you from Papius.
(53:17) Actually, uh, Elder Jan, I'm going to put that screenshot up for you. old. So you if you want to take a picture of that for your own records, here it comes. This is the direct quote from Papus himself. >> Well, you can't tell me that the book of Hebrews was written in Greek. Of course, it was written in Hebrew.
(53:49) >> That'd be like the book of English written in Spanish. there. Amen. There it is. We have evidence that the book of Matthew was written in Hebrew. And there I mean that comes from Papius himself. Now, let me show you some other quotes from the fragments we have. Y'all are going to like this.
(54:11) I love the way Papus wrote. He's my kind of writer. He's writing about the millennial reign, Gileism as it's known. And I love the way he writes about it. I'm gonna get him to come preach for us because I love how he preaches the millennium. He said, "The days will come in which vines will grow, each one having 10,000 branches, and in each branch 10,000 twigs, and in each twig 10,000 shoots, and in every one of the shoots 10,000 clusters, and on every one of the clusters 10,000 grapes.
(54:54) " This is turning into a song. I can hear it already. Already. And every grape when pressed will give 25 meters of wine. And when any one of the saints shall lay hold of a cluster, another will cry out, "I'm a better cluster. Take me. Bless the Lord through me." >> Hallelujah. Hallelujah. >> Glory. Glory. Glory. Glory. Glory.
(55:26) Glory. I tell you what, I'm heartbroken that his writings are destroyed. Literally heartbroken. This was the one that wore the Petalone after Polycarp. Now, let's go to another quote that he makes about the millennial reign. You know, he learned all this from Yeshua. I'm sorry, from John. John taught him this.
(55:52) JOHN TAUGHT HIM WHAT I TEACH YOU. HALLELUJAH. HE DIDN'T MAKE THIS UP. HE GOT this from his teacher, the man that wore the pet alone. Blessed be God. Hallelujah. Almighty Yahweh. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Father. In like manner, a grain of wheat will produce 10,000 ears, and that every ear would have 10,000 grains, and every grain would yield 10 pounds of clear, pure flour, and that apples and seeds and grass would produce in the same way.
(56:28) and that all animals feeding only on the productions of the earth would become peaceable and harmonious and be in perfect subjection to mankind. Hallelujah. That's apostolic truth, children. That's apostolic truth. Oh, no mention of heaven in Papus's writings. He's talking about a kingdom that's coming oh soon AND VERY SOON.
(56:59) I THANK GOD I'M ONE OF THEM. HALLELUJAH. WOO. GLORY. GLORY. GLORY. GLORY. GLORY. GLORY. Does anybody know where he learned that from? John. >> John. >> Where did Where did John learn it from? Yesua. That proves to me Yesua WAS TEACHING ABOUT A THOUSAND YEAR millennial reign and he WAS DESCRIBING WHAT SEE WE DON'T HAVE that in the Bible Yeshua WAS TELLING SOMEBODY ABOUT THAT KINGDOM HOW EVERY BRANCH IS GOING TO PRODUCE 10 THOU MY GOD OH THE BIBLE SAID EYE HAS not seen ear has not heard NEITHER HAS IT ENTERED INTO THE HEART OF
(57:54) MAN WHAT THE FATHER HAS PREPARED for us. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. But he's revealed it unto babes. And tonight, if you're a babe, he's revealing it unto you. Oh, blessed be the name above every other name. Let me calm back down. Hallelujah. Can you imagine around the campfires at night >> the stories Yeshua would tell of the kingdom? >> Ah, and where do you think John got it from? See, folks, we're only we're only two generations away from Yesua in these writings. Only two.
(58:32) J Yakan
Summary
This lesson traces the claimed split between the apostolic Israelite faith and the rise of institutional Christianity. It emphasizes Asia Minor, not Rome, as the true center of apostolic succession through John, Philip, Polycarp, Papias, and Philip’s daughters. The teaching presents the destruction of Papias’s writings as evidence that Rome suppressed the ancient doctrine of the millennial Kingdom on earth.
