(201) Women Pastors on Trial: In a court of THREE WITNESSES. What is the Verdict? 6/27/26 - YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLwp73KUzdM Transcript: (00:01) I want to tell you a little bit about my personal experience with the subject I'm teaching on today. This is a different day. I will not be preaching. I will not be under the dynamic anointing today. I'm I have a different job today. And my job is to stop, slow down, and dissect the word of Yahweh on a particular subject. (00:28) Now, [clears throat] I was born in 1973. That was the good old days. Yes, sir. Amen. And um during the 1940s and 50s and 60s and 70 about well I'm going to say up to the early 70s there was a unique move of God on the earth. And in that move of God there were many dynamic women preachers. If I was to name a few, it would be Sister Willie Johnson, Sister Peggy Richards, Sister Lloy Gatlin, Sister Jean Holland, Sister Irene Mohan, Sister Sartin, I could go on and on and on of women preachers in that era. (01:32) And now listen, they were there was an anointing on those women preachers. They could out preach the men. They were dynamic. They were gloriously anointed in that era. Now there's it's not that way much anymore, but in that time frame, Maria Woodworth Eder, Amy Simple McFersonson, I could go on down the line that there is no doubt that God used these women. (02:04) I was born in the bedroom of one of those women. Her name was Lois Gaklin. And my grandmother may have been the best, greatest preacher I've ever heard. She was a a pastor in New Orleans for many years. Built three or four successful churches. That's still going today. One in Bogaloosa, Louisiana. One in Springfield, Louisiana. One in New Orleans, Louisiana, and one in Colombia, Mississippi. (02:36) And I was privileged to be born in this woman's home. I was raised by her. I was mentored by Sister Loyce Gatlin. Now, she was the dearest thing to my heart. She was the first woman I ever fell in love with. I walked in her shadow. Uh if you think Sha walks in my shadows, that's how I did Sister Gatlin. (03:03) As a matter of fact, as a little boy at the church in Colombia, Brother Terrell sat on one side of the Now, in those days, y'all don't remember this. In those days, everybody had a wooden platform. There was a big platform made out of wood. And the reason we made out of wood cuz when we danced on it, you could hear our feet dancing. (03:22) And it was just, you know, it was much more fun to dance on wood. And um so all the churches had big platforms. Brother Terrell sat on that side. My grandmother sat on that side. And guess who was right next to her? Every service? Me. Dancing with everybody. Anywhere she went, I followed. Um when she prayed, I I started praying just like her. I started moaning just like her. (03:54) uh she was my mentor and uh she was the the woman of God that affected my ministry more than any person on planet earth. So I'm saying all that to set you up for where I'm going one day. Um and of course I believed in women preachers in those days absolutely because I adored my grandmother. I'm gonna say when I turned about 23 or 24 years old, I came across the ministry of brother William Brham. (04:27) And brother Brham was so adamant against women preachers and I knew he was a prophet and I knew that God had worked through him. And so I began to study the Bible for the first time really on that subject. And I came to the conclusion that first Corinthians, let's stand for our text. I came to the conclusion 1 Corinthians 14 verse 34. (05:03) Everyone turn there with me today. 1 Corinthians 13 or 14:34. Let your women stay quiet in church, for it is not allowed that they should speak, but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they want to learn anything, they can't even ask a question. They need to ask their husbands when they get home. (05:46) For it is a shame for women to speak in the church. You may be seated. So after following brother Brandham's ministry and he I mean he was not just against women pastors. He was against women even testifying. They were to be silent in the church. Now what was so confusing is this was a man of God. He was truly anointed by God. And I believed so much in truth. (06:18) Y'all might want to stay with me. I'm going a long way today. I believe so much in truth that I literally stood up publicly against women preachers to the much hurt of my grandmother, to the much pain of my grandmother. (06:44) One of the greatest pastors I ever had in my life was Sister Jean Holland, a woman out of Jackson, Mississippi, Richland, right there. And I broke her heart on Facebook when I fought so hard against the very women that had mentored me. But you see, there's something about me, Pastor Morgan. I love truth more than grandma. Amen. And I thought I thought according to the word that I was standing for truth. (07:14) So then a few years ago, I mean, in our own church here, we have one of the greatest women in preacher. Sister Kendrick is a preacher and she's a phenomenal woman preacher. She used to travel and preach. Y'all don't know that, do you? But she used to go church to church preaching. And then right beside her, my wife is a great preacher. (07:36) And uh Sister Baker, Elder Baker, a great preacher. And so a few years ago, when I saw this ministry starting to explode, I had to say, "Now, Lord, I need to know the truth about women preachers. Not women pastors, because I know that's not acceptable. But what about women preachers?" And that's when I begin to read Paul's writing in the next verse, verse 36, right after he says that the women are to be silent. (08:11) In verse 36, he has one word in response to that. And the word is what? With a question mark. And now and and and and what people don't know in verse 34 and 35, he is copying a question that was sent to him in prison. And he's literally writing their words that they wrote to him that the law teaches them that women cannot preach. And Paul's got one word for it. (08:47) What? That's it. That's his answer. What did the word of Yahweh come out from you or only unto you men? In other words, what are you talking about? Do you think that the word of God only comes to men? And then I love what he said in verse 37. If anyone thinks that they are a prophet or spiritual, you need to acknowledge that what I'm writing to you, these are the true commandments of Yahweh. (09:31) What is he writing? What did the word of God come to men only? That it was almost like I've done that before where the question is so stupid I don't even want to give an answer. Yes, sir. My response is what? But he said, I love what he said in verse 38. But if you want to be ignorant, just stay dumb. If you want to be a dumb man, just stay dumb. (10:06) All right. Now, so when I read that, suddenly I knew that women could preach. The Lord revealed. I've never heard that verse mentioned ever. That what the Lord revealed that to me. And of course then at that point I ordained women to preach with the one caveat that they cannot pastor any of our churches. (10:33) And of course, I get that from the scripture that talks about the woman being submitted to the man and not being over the man or taking authority over the man. So about uh a month ago, I was studying to prove why women cannot pastor because I knew I would have to deal with this subject because I knew it was up for vote at the Southern Baptist Convention and I knew it was going to be all over the news the next week. (11:11) And I knew that it was time for FHMI to quit glossing over it and deal with it. And I went to the Lord and I said, "I've got to prove that women cannot pastor churches because I did not believe that they could or they can." And what I'm going to show you today is no matter how much I fought with every book in my library and no matter how much I fought with AI and no matter how much I fought with friends of mine that I reached out to, I ran into a massive problem. (12:01) And it's a problem that I confess to you today that brings me before the entire congregation to bring this to trial and to see if our women can pastor any of our congregations. What problem did I run into? I'm going to show you. Slide number one. I ran into a problem by the name of Junia. I want to show you something today. (12:46) And I don't want you to take my word for anything, but I'm preaching today. She was always there. We're living in the hour of restoration of hidden things. The calendar was hidden. The voice of Elijah return ministry was hidden. And the role of apostle was hidden. So, I believe if we're going to restore all things, we might need to not just restore the apostle, but any hidden truth that has always been there. Now, when I say she was always there, I'm referring to a woman named Junia. (13:38) Now, I want to show you on the next slide a scripture, and we're going to I want you to watch before I read it. I'm going to show you today. I want you to watch a woman literally vanish before your eyes. You're fixing to see something that ought to make your skin crawl. (14:05) I'm going to show you how the lying pin of the scribe committed the first act of transgenderism in the word of God. We're going to watch a woman become a man. I'm going to read to you. Turn to the go to the next slide. We have two verses here. The first one is out of the King James 16:11. Romans 16:7 is the verse. Romans 16:7. The original scripture says, "Solute Andronicus and Junia who are of note among the apostles. (14:59) Now say that name with me. Say Junia. That is a woman. It was a woman's name in Rome. It was a woman's name in Paul's day. It is a woman's name in the King James Bible. Paul greets her and says this about this woman. She is of note among the apostles. Now let's read it out of the new version of the Bible, the revised standard in 1952. (15:36) Greet Andronicus and Junius. They are men of note among the apostles. You just saw the first sex change in the whole world and it's in your Bible. You just watched a woman get her sex changed. Verse SL, go to slide four in the word of Yahweh. This is the first transgenderism in church history. The next slide. (16:16) Now go to slide number six. This transgenderism was not performed in a clinic. It was performed with a pen. Somebody looked at the word of Yahweh and they saw a woman named Junia standing right there in the text and they decided they decided that she could not be what the scripture plainly said she was. (16:45) So they changed her. And how did they do it? They put one little accent mark over one little Greek letter. And then they put a footnote that they thought nobody would check. And they took the junior, the woman, and made her Junius the man, a man that never existed in the whole Bible anywhere in the world. (17:15) A man that never drew one breath is written in your Bible. A man whose name appears nowhere in all of the ancient world. You cannot find the name Junius in any historical document. They invented a man and buried a woman inside of him. Here's the part that ought to make you sit up straight. The same religious spirit that stands up today and preaches against transgenderism was the very first one in history to do it. They did it to a woman that could not defend herself. (17:54) Just as the Dead Sea Scrolls were thrown in a cave for 2,000 years, so was Junia. They have hidden this woman literally for 2,000 years. A woman that could not stand up and say, "Stop. That's not my name." But tonight or today, through the voice of Elijah and the end time ministry, we're bringing Junia back from the dead. Hallelujah. (18:34) Hallelujah. Hallelujah. The prophet Jeremiah tells us in Jeremiah 8 and8, "How can you say we are wise because we have the written word when actually the lying pin of the scribes has mistransated the word?" Amen. I don't know if you hear what Jeremiah is saying. (19:11) You talking about we've got the Bible, but do you really? He said because of translation, you don't have the Bible because in your Bible, you've got a woman with a man's name. The lion pin. Write that down. The lying pin of the scribe. There is a pin that lies and that pen has been busy in the house of Yahweh. And one of the things it lied about, one of the truths that the pen buried was a woman named Junior. (19:51) And tonight, we're going to allow Junior to speak from the grave. Why this hour? Why does Junior need to speak today? Because we are in the restoration of all things. Slide number 10. Hallelujah. We are in the restoration. If we're going to restore the apostle, we need to restore the woman. Hallelujah. Amen. (20:26) Acts 3:21, the restitution of all things which Yahweh has spoken by the mouth of his holy prophets since the world began. We are living in that hour. We are in that season number 11. We are living in the days when the spirit of Yahweh is restoring truth after truth after truth that the traditions of men have buried. He restored the Sabbath. (21:00) He restored the feast. He's restored his name. He restored the kingdom message. And in this hour, he is reaching down into one verse that the scribes have vandalized. And he's restoring the voice of a silent daughter. Hallelujah. He's restoring the voice of a silent daughter. Amen. Acts chapter 2 and verse 17. (21:29) And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith Yahweh, I will pour out my spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters. shall preach. The word prophesy means to preach under divine inspiration. This is not us bending to the spirit of feminism or the spirit of this age because this is older than the lie that replaced it. This is the old path. (22:13) We're fixing to return to the road that the assembly walked for a thousand years before the lying pin turned the people away. Now verse slide number 13. I'm going to tell you the truth and I've already told you how I came to this message and how I came to this understanding. Verse four, slide 14. I pro I set out to prove she was a man. I did not welcome Junia into my life. I tried to make her like all of my forebears disappear. (22:47) The very first thing I did, what I set out to prove grammatically that there was an error. She was a man. Night and day. If you could see my conversations, you would see where I screamed at the computer. No, she can't be a woman because a woman cannot be an apostle. I fought with this computer. I searched every grammatical. (23:16) I went through every I had to prove I had to keep Junia buried because she was messing up my doctrine that was handed to me by another man. I studied night and day. I chased every source I could find. I pulled every lexicon off of my shelf. I hunted through every argument that might let me turn Junia into Junius and make her vanish. (23:48) But every corner I turned, I hit a wall of truth. The name would not become a man. The Greek language would not let me do it. History would not let me do it. There was no man named Junius anywhere in the ancient world. You can't find that name one time. And I wanted to manufacture it, but I couldn't. (24:20) So, I retreated just a little bit and I went for my second line of battle. I thought, all right, if I can't make her a man, then maybe I can prove that this verse was a forgery and it was not in the original scripture. So, I went down that line for two weeks trying to find if like Matthew 28:19, which is a forgery. (24:49) I don't know if you know that or not, but Matthew 28:19 was added to your Bible thousand years after your Bible was released. You ain't got to believe me, baby. Google it. Okay? And uh it it experts scholars agree that it was an addition to the Bible and it was to honor the trinitarian formulas. The reason it was put in there, the name would not become a man and I could I thought maybe the translator slipped it in. (25:13) Maybe I can throw the whole thing out. I just got to prove that it's like Matthew 28:19. It was added. But again, I failed there as well. The voice would not be silent. The manuscripts would not give me my forgery any more than the lexicons would give me my man. I failed around every corner I turned. I went hunting to silence a woman. And the voice of this female apostle would not be silent. (25:48) The harder I tried to bury her, the louder she testified. The more I dug to cover her up, the more she kept rising. And in the end of my study, it was not I that overturned her, but it was she who overturned me. And let me tell you what I learned on my face before Yahweh. When a man sets out to disprove a thing with all his strength, studies night and day to tear it down, and he cannot do it, he had better stop and ask himself whether the thing he has been fighting was the truth all along. (26:37) And it was. So I laid down my case against Junia, and today I'm here to take up hers. And that's how I got here today. I stand before you with a clean conscience because I'm not a man who went looking for the answer that I found. I'm a man who fought the answer with everything I had and I lost. I lost to the word. I lost to the truth. (27:10) Sadly, I lost to the voice of a dead woman who would not stay buried. So now my duty today is to bring to you a court case. I'm going to call this court, the eklesia, the cahal into session. We're going to reopen the case today. I'm going to put this whole question on trial right here in front of every one of you. (27:40) And I'm going to do it the way Yahweh commands it to be done. We're not going to settle this on our tradition. I'm not going to settle this because Royce Gatlin was a pastor. I'm not going to settle this because Vicky Baker is anointed and I love her. I'm not settling it on any of that or my wife or my mother-in-law. I'm coming today to settle this on the word of Yahweh, not the traditions I inherited. (28:08) Number 17. Here's how we're going to conduct court today. At the mouth of two witnesses or at the mouth of three shall the matter be established. That is the evidentiary law of the kingdom. And you know, by the way, I had to come against Herbert Armstrong in this because he was adamantly against women pastors and all these people that I revere and admire and love. (28:47) I I I'm saying, "Father, why didn't they see it?" But you see, Junia would only be resurrected when Elijah comes forth. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. So, here's what we're going to do. We're going to go over these witnesses. I'm going to call three witnesses to the court today to answer one question and then I'm going to let each witness testify fully, plainly, and put him under crossexamination. (29:26) At the end, this congregation will render your verdict. Not me, you at the mouth of two or three witnesses as the law requires. Here is the question before the court today. Does the word of Yahweh, this is the question that we will answer, establish a universal prohibition, a wall that bars a woman from the pastoral office simply because she is a woman. (30:03) Even if she's called, gifted, examined, and qualified. That's the question. This is the question that we have to find an answer to today. Does the word of Yahweh prohibit universally from Genesis to Revelation a God that never changes? Does it prohibit women from being a pastor? Not whether a woman can minister, but whether they can pastor. (30:35) The only question is whether the scripture slams a door against a daughter that it does not slam against a son. That's our question today. Does the word of Torah slam a door in front of daughters that it does not slam in front of sons? Now, let's go to slide 20. We'll skip past 19. We're going to call our first witness today. Her name is Junia. (31:07) I'm going to call her to the stand because she's been waiting 2,000 years to testify. I call Junia today. She's been waiting in the pages of the Bible under a false name they nailed over her real one. She's been waiting for an honest enough reader to get her name out loud. And today is that hour. Junia is resurrected and will take the stand. (31:37) Here is her verse. Romans 16:7. Let's read it one more time. Here's what Paul said about this particular woman. Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, my fellow prisoners. who are of note among the apostles who also were in Messiah before I was. Now my studies has found out who this woman Junia was. She was part of the British royal family and uh she came to Rome as as a queen. (32:22) Many people don't understand who Junia was. She was taken when Britain surrendered to Rome. She came as part of the royal family. And while she was there, she accepted Christ. As a matter of fact, it is said that she knew Christ because Joseph of Arythea introduced her to Christ as a young man in the aisle of Great Britain. (32:51) Because Joseph of Arythea was a minor. He was a wealthy business owner in Jerusalem and he mined for 10 t iin and he had several mines in Great Britain. And all through the years, the lost years, no one knows where Joshua was. He was with his uncle Joseph on those boats between Britain and India operating in the mining business and and going with his uncle when he wasn't working at his father's shop. Jo when he died, Joseph of of Arythea was able to take his body. (33:32) They were so everyone knew that they were a pair. And so Junia was among those that came to Rome from Great Britain. And there she began serving Christ many years before his even his crucifixion. She began to follow him. And there uh as she met him, she became a very very devout woman. Slide 22. Now, here is the first attempt to silence her. (34:07) They say she was not a woman, she was a man. Let me help you today. The grammar in Greek, you get any Greek scholar, you find any Greek scholar, they will look you in the eyes and they will tell you it's impossible. The Greek language does not allow it. Because in the Greek language, her name is what they call accusative. (34:38) She's the object of Paul's greeting. The man's form and the woman's form looks almost identical. The only difference is one accent mark. And here's what they will not tell you from the pull pit. The oldest Greek manuscripts had no accent marks at all. So why does her name suddenly have a a uh accent mark put over it? In the ancient Greek, there are no accent marks. (35:17) Okay? The bear text, the original text cannot tell you the gender. Anybody that stands up and says the Greek says we cannot know if it's a man or a woman. Let me explain to you why that is wrong. Number 23. Let's start with the name Junia. Slide 23, brother. Is that it? Let's start with that name Junia. Look at that screen. That's how many times that name shows up in the ancient manuscripts of the Greek world. (35:52) 250 over 250 times. It was the most common women's name in all of Rome. Junia. Now let's look at Junius. Now this is what they need. It shows up in all of history and every you cannot find that name Junius anywhere in history. So finally the scribes started adding accent marks. Somebody say centuries later. (36:27) And which way did they accent this name? Originally they accented it feminine. The great textual scholar Elden El went through them and not one Greek manuscript carries the masculine accent. Not one. And all 20 originals carry the feminine accent. In the old Latin Vulgate, it has a feminine ending. (36:59) Everywhere you look, history proves it was a woman. So in White Cliffe in the English Bible in 1382, guess what Junia was in 1382? A woman. Guess what she was in 1525 with Tindell? A woman. The Cloverdale Bible, the Geneva Bible, and even the King James of 1611 all call her a woman. When did Junius show up? In 1881 in the first major English Bible and then it got in the revised standard in 1952. (37:45) So let me ask you, if Junius the man is the true reading, then why did it take until 1881 for it to show up? Why did the church read Junia the woman for 1,800 years? You already know the answer. The masculine reading is not the old path. The masculine reading is the invention of men. It's a new thing. (38:17) It was born in the exact decade that the world was fighting hardest to keep women out of public life. One historian put it this way. Junia became Juda because modern men assumed that only men could be an apostle. They didn't find a man in the text. They needed one. So they put him there. They created them a male apostle with the stroke of a pen. So let's enter the verdict. Here's the verdict. On the first attack that we've entered, Judah was a woman. (38:59) The first attempt to silence this witness has failed in this court today. Now, here's their next attack. When they cannot prove she was a man, a woman, a man, their next attempt is, well, she was not really, it doesn't say she was an apostle. So, they're willing to give up on the man part. And then they go to the next line of defense. (39:28) Well, here is the sentence that they're talking about. She was of note among the apostles. Now, the way the church for thousand years read that verse was what's called inclusive reading. They included her among the apostles. You may not know this. I'm fixing to prove it to you in court. Junia for over a thousand years was included among the apostles. (40:03) Now, let me stop right here. Here's where a lot of confusion comes in. I wrote an addendum today to the book called The Apostle. If you don't have it, you need to get it. The book of Revelation talks about the 12 apostles of the lamb. The 12 apostles of the lamb. That group of 12. Y'all falling asleep on me? Okay. I'm sorry. (40:40) That group of 12 are a unique, distinct group of apostles. They're not the only one. They are a unique group of the lamb. They walked with the lamb. Those apostles were given to the Jewish people. Yes, sir. First, now when Yesua is getting ready to go to heaven, think about this. He already had 12 apostles. and he's going to turn around and give you the gift of apostles when they're already there. (41:28) How dumb can you get? Think about it. There was 12 originals. Those will always have the preeminence among us. Always. But when Yesua is leaving, he turns to the lost tribe, to the church that's about to come in and said, "Hey, they're going to need apostles like the Jews had." And that's when he went to Paul, knocked him off his horse, and said, "You're the first one I'm recruiting into the apostilhip." Hallelujah. (42:08) The Lord showed this to me this morning, early this morning. He said, "Think about it." He said, "The original apostles was to the Jew first, sir, but the ones I released when I was leaving was for another nation, of which Paul was the first." Now, that's why when you look through the New Testament, you find Barnabas being called an apostle. (42:38) You can look that up. It's in your Bible or it's in my book. Get it. Barnabas. Where did when did Barnabas beus become an apostle? He's not part of the 12 and when when and and and there's several more that are referred to as a James the brother of Jesus was an apostle. When did that happen? When did Miah what brothers and sisters there was another release of apostolic authority for another nation that Yesua gave to us on his departure. (43:16) We will never be the 12 apostles ever. They are unique among us. We will never be Yesua. He is unique among us. But the Bible said we are his brethren and we are the apostles brethren as well. So when you get to Junia, people freeze up because well she wasn't an apostle. She wasn't among the 12 apostles. No, by this time we've already started reaching out to the lost tribes. (43:51) She's part of the new bunch of the apostles that are being sent forth. If you don't have that addendum, if you're watching, it's uploaded on Telegram. Read that addendum. I list at least 10 people, I think, in the New Testament that were called apostles that were not part of the original apostles. And so when Paul says that Adronicus and Junia were of note among the apostles boy when it hit me that there was a woman apostle I fought it. There's no way there can be a woman apostle because I don't believe in women pastors and apostles above the pastor. (44:55) I I I I You're right. I had to I had to literally fight my own Bible because I'm just like the rest of you. I still fight my traditions every day. Now, the church would try to make you believe that that meant she was well known to the apostles, meaning that the apostles, they thought highly of her, but she really wasn't one of her one of them herself. That's called the exclusive reading. (45:36) I want you to notice something that the prosecution would rather you not notice. The men who argue that position have already surrendered their first position that she was a man. That's right. They're already 50/50. They've given up on trying to make her a man. They now agree she's a woman, but now they jump in the next trench. So, which reading is right? That's the question today. The inclusive reading is stronger. And here is why. (46:06) Paul used a little Greek construction when he used the word among and that particular word is inclusive not exclusive. Let me give you an example. There is a verse in your Bible that says, "Oh Bethlehem, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah," it's the same word. Now, does that mean that Bethlehem was only known by Judah? No. Bethlehem was among Judah. Same word. (46:49) Bethlehem, though thou be little among thousands of Judah, Bethlehem is among them literally counted as one of Judah. Though you're little, Bethlehem, even though you're little, you're still among Judah. That doesn't mean you're well thought of by Judah. That doesn't mean they know about you. That means you're included in Judah. Now, let's go a step further than that. (47:29) Now, I'm going to go somewhere that's going to blow your mind. I'm going to go to the fake fathers of the faith, the early fathers. What did I tell you when I wrote that book, The Fake Fathers? I told you the only time we lean on them is for history, not doctrine. That's right. Okay. So, today we're going to go lean on some early church fathers for history's sake. (48:01) The first man we're going to start off with is Chrysum. Now, Chrissum was a great preacher in the 4th century. What does that mean? 350s AD somewhere along in there. Okay. Hundreds of years after the Bible, hundreds of years after Christ. And when by the way, Chrysum, an early church father despised women in the ministry. And he wrote this and this is in his handwriting. (48:36) He said, "How great the devotion of this woman," talking about Junia, "that she should be counted worthy of the appellation of apostle." That's right. Now, Chrissam is a star witness against women and he confesses that she must have been a very devoted woman to be counted of appellation which means among the apostles. (49:13) Now, the next thing that I want to look at, some people say, "Fine, she's an apostle." But apostle really just means one that is sent. She was just a delivery girl, not a leader. So, we got three things we're trying to do now. We tried to make her a man. That won't work. Then we tried to say she was just known by the apostles. (49:41) That won't work. So now we're going to say the word apostle there just means delivery girl. Okay. But according to Paul in slide 27, he tells you what that word apostle means. according to the grace of Yahweh which is given unto me as a wise master builder. I an apostle have laid the foundation. He called himself a master builder. The Greek word is araton which means architect. The chief apostle defining what apostilhip means. (50:24) He does not call himself a delivery boy. He calls himself a master builder because the apostle is the one that lays the foundation. He's what the foundation is made of. And this is the work that no other office can do. The evangelist, the pastor, the teacher, they don't build. The apostle builds. He plants the assembly. (51:02) He orders it, sets it on a foundation, structures the people of Yahweh around sound doctrine. He's a master builder. So when Paul names Judah among the master builders, he's numbering her among those that were sent to lay the foundation of the faith. Amen. And do you know how the early church remembered her? Listen to this carefully. If you go to the Greek Orthodox church, here's how they remember Junia. (51:38) They say that she and Adronicus traveled and preached and and saw pagan temples shut down by their preaching. And that Junia planted assemblies, that's churches, where the idols used to stand. My friend, that's not a courier. That's not a delivery girl. That's a master builder at work. The very thing Paul said that office is for. (52:10) And if you go to the Eastern Church, the oldest one out there, that's the one that descended from Polycarp, this is what they say about Junia. They literally canonized her, made her a saint, and every year they keep a feast day to this very day on the 17th of May for the Apostle Junior. They build a church. There's a church right now in her honor in Constantinople. (52:44) And they praise Junia. They've got the records for her godly preaching. For over a thousand years, the living worship of the church called her what she was, a woman and an apostle, and dedicated a church to her in the capital of Christianity. But a woman's got to keep silent. So, the first witness has testified and her testimony stands. (53:20) A woman was numbered among the master builders of the assembly of Yahweh. Now I have a question for you. If that is true, and I know it is, is true, who do you think you are? Who do we think we are? Amen. Now, we're going to go to the next witness. She was always there. You were just taught not to see her. Let's go to the next witness. (53:59) The second witness, slide 33, is the Torah. I'm calling to the witness stand right now the highest authority this court can summon. I call the law of Yahweh itself. I call the Torah. The Torah is what governs the kingdom. Nothing in this courtroom can stand against the constitution called the Torah. Nothing. So, I'm going to put the Torah, the prosecution. (54:37) They say the prosecutor does that. We have to silence the women. We have to bar them from leadership. And they say that's the ancient divine order of things. That's what I always said. That's just the divine order. Now, I'm going to get to order at the end. So, let me ask the Torah a question. Slide 34. (55:06) Mr. Torah, where do you command a woman to be silent? Where do you forbid her to lead? And where do you bar her from speaking your word to your people? And that's what the Torah answers. Nowhere. I want you to search it from Genesis to Deuteronomy. Look through every commandment, every statue, every ordinance. (55:35) There is no command in the Torah that silences a woman. It is not there. We have been preaching a tradition that was handed to us by Jewish Pharisees. We claim that we're leaving Judaism and Catholicism, but in that area, we did not. The Torah does not stop at silence. The Torah does the opposite of silencing a woman. The Torah stands up in this court and enthrones women. I'd like to show them to you. Slide 35. (56:15) Judges chapter 4 and verse4. And Deborah, a preacher, the wife of Laped ruled all of Israel. Amen. You say, "Oh, it says judge." Do you not know what the judges were? Who do you think Samuel was? He was the judge. But Israel was ruled by judges after the king, before the kings, rather. They were the pastors of Israel. Amen. (56:57) She was not a footnote. She was not a helper in the background just working in the kitchen. Even though I'm sure she worked in the kitchen as well. She was a judge, a ruler, a pastor over the whole nation. Amen. The men of Israel came to this woman for her judgment. She preached the word of the covenant to them. (57:27) And when the time came to go to war, the general himself, his name was Baric. He would not go to battle without his woman pastor. That's right. He said in Judges 4 and8, "If you will go with me, Deborah, then I'll go. But if you don't go with me, I ain't going." A grown man, a military commander says, "I want my woman pastor with me." Y'all going to wake up in a minute. (58:05) Amen. He said, "I will not march unless this woman marches with me." Why? She's anointed. Now, this is my problem with you Torah people. You just skip right over this like it ain't even in there. Yahweh gave the victory and the honor of that day went to a woman. And here's the lesson I want you to hold all the way to the end of this teaching. Deborah did not seize Barack's place. (58:49) Barack abandoned it. And when a man lays down the mantle that Yahweh has handed him, you're a fool if you don't think he'll let a woman pick it up. He'll hand it to whoever will carry it. That day it was a woman and her rule was final. Now the second witness from the Torah is Halda. Go with me to slide 37. (59:23) Now, here's some This ought to end the argument all by itself. For years, the book of the law had been lost in the temple. And then it was found in the days of King Josiah. When they found it, the king tore off his clothes and he sent the highest official, the high priest. Listen to this. He sent the high priest to go to the woman preacher. (59:56) Apostle. So Hilkaya the priest went unto Halda the preacher and communed with her. We're talking about the high priest. We're talking about the king was looking for a woman preacher. Hallelujah. Guys, you can't get around this stuff. You just can't. I've tried. You can't get around it. They came to her and she spoke, "Thus saith Yahweh, and a king received a word from a woman preacher, and you can't. (1:00:45) " The next one, Micah 6 and4. Let's see who Yahweh made leader over all of Israel. For I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and I placed over you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam. That was Israel's second woman pastor. First woman pastor actually. I set above you to lead you a woman. He placed her name not below Moses but right next to him. (1:01:36) So we've called the second witness today, the Torah, and we found out that the law has never silenced a daughter. So let's enter this second witness into the record. Let it stand. The law of Yahweh never silenced a daughter. It raised her up to judge, to prophesy, which is preach and to lead. By the way, you may be saying, "Oh, now that doesn't say preach, it says prophesy. (1:02:10) " Go look what the word preach and prophesy mean. They both mean the same thing. To speak under divine inspiration. That's all it means. Now, let's go to our third witness. We're calling the third witness today. And we're calling this witness the cloud because it's the cloud filled with other women in the New Testament that Yahweh used. Let's go to Romans 16 1-2. (1:02:49) 16 1-2. I commend unto you, which means I recommend Phoebe, our sister. Now, I know she's got to be quiet when she gets there. And I know she's not allowed to speak, but I recommend her to you. What are you recommending her to do? To wash dishes? This is literally a letter coming with Phoebe. She is a deacon of the church which is at Sria. (1:03:30) Oh pastor, it don't say deacon. Don't make me upset. Look up the word servant. Deacon. Deconi. It's the word deacon. So here we have a woman deacon sir which is a leader of the church. She hath been a sacer of many and of myself also. That word servant is diaonos. It is the full masculine form. He does not give her the female form of deaconess. He calls her diaonos. (1:04:06) Deiaonos, which is authority over men. That word diacinos is the word that Paul gave to every minister of the gospel. Now the word cowerer is the word pro-status. That's not a woman that brings you refreshments. The prostatus means a protector and one who stands before others on their behalf. Look up the word sakawa. (1:04:58) Sakawa means she has been sent to stand before others in my place. That's a position of authority. If you're coming to represent Paul and stand in Paul's place and you're a woman, but here's what the church has walked past for 2,000 years. You know what they say about Phoebe? Well, she just carried the letter to the Romans. (1:05:35) First of all, what she had in her hand, I don't know if y'all know this or not. Paul wrote a letter that's in your Bible. It's called the book of Romans. He placed that letter in a woman's hand. Phoebe said, "You bring this letter to Rome. You're going to stand before others in my place. (1:06:05) " Because the one that carries the letter is the one that has to get up and read the letter and explain the letter to the church at Rome. [applause] The first human being to ever stand before a congregation and read the book of Romans was a woman. Anybody awake out there? The next time you read the book of Romans, it was first preached by a woman. Yes, sir. Hallelujah. (1:06:48) Let's call our next witness. There was a man up preaching. His name was Apollos. The Bible said he was an excellent preacher and he was very intelligent in the scriptures. He was up preaching the house down. a gifted man, a powerful man, but his doctrine was messed up. And so there was a woman sitting in the audience and out of respect for him, she stayed quiet. (1:07:24) while he was preaching that mess. But right after he got through, the Bible said Priscilla went and said, "Apollos, come to my house, son. I got to straighten you out." And the Bible said that Priscilla explained the truth to Apollos more perfectly. Slide 45. Acts 18:26. And they took unto them. Number 45. Slide 45. (1:08:07) And expounded unto him the way of Yahweh more perfectly. Notice the name that's mentioned first. Not Aquilla. Priscilla. before her husband in that culture. The one that was named first was the more prominent person. A woman helped instruct one of the most gifted preachers of her day in sound doctrine. (1:08:41) How does a woman do that if she is silent? So the next time someone tells you a woman cannot teach a man, then Priscilla is on her way to hell. Anybody? How did we believe this mess? Priscilla Priscilla taught a preacher. Right. But Paul said, "I suffer not a woman to teach a man." Amen. We're going to find out. We're going to find out. Now, we'll call the next witness out of the cloud. Acts 21 verse 9. (1:09:29) And the same man had four daughters. They never married, but they did preach. four preaching virgin daughters. Sister Ruth Heft was a virgin all of her life. She never married. Reminds me of Philip's daughters. She remained a virgin for the kingdom's sake and she preached till she died. That would be the exact same thing of this story here. Four preaching daughters. (1:10:11) Now, here's what the church historian, y'all should remember that name, records that these women were sought out. And listen to what Ucibius says. They were honored as standing among successors of the apostles. And then Papus, surely you remember him, received all of his teaching from these women preachers and John the Apostle. But after John died, they continued through four preaching women. (1:10:56) Now I would like to add on slide 50 one more witness from the cloud. John of Damascus, Oregon of Rome. Jerome, Chrissum, Theodderate, they all wrote. Every one of these fathers wrote that Junia was not among the pupils but among the apostles. John of Damascus wrote these words plainly, "And such a woman is Junia. (1:11:44) " Over a dozen of those early voices all read the same thing, a woman, an apostle. She was never turned into a man till 1300 years later. So the three witnesses I have called tonight, slide 51, they all agree. The law of Yahweh says that the matter is established. The first witness was Junia herself. The second was the Torah. (1:12:17) And the third was the cloud of daughters in the New Testament. Three witnesses all say the same thing. They do not contradict. They agree. And by the law of Yahweh, the matter is established. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And the court said, now before we close the court, before we close the court, I think it's only fair that we allow the prosecution a moment. (1:13:08) So, we're going to reconvene the court now that we've ruled and we're going to let the prosecutor cross-examine us now. Okay. So, exhibit one. The prosecutor has an exhibit for us. Slide 55. Let your women keep silence in the churches. This is all they have. One or two more and I'll read them to you. (1:13:35) This is this is out of everything we just read. Deborah Halda uh the daughters of Philip blah blah. We have a whole Bible of women preachers, women leaders, women pastors, women apostles, women deacons. We got a Bible full of them. But because of this one verse of scripture, it destroys the whole Bible evidence. [gasps] Not so fast. For 2,000 years, this has kept women silent. (1:14:12) Paul said, "As also saith the law." Now, I've got a problem here because you and I just read the law. We just read Torah. Paul is saying supposedly that this commandment is in the law that a woman has to keep silent. That it's in the law. The problem is I can't find it. So Paul is telling us that there is a law that says women cannot lead in the church. (1:14:58) The only problem is it's not in the law of Yahweh. The Torah denies that. So if it's not in the Torah, then what law is Paul talking about? Ladies and gentlemen, in the Mishna, there is a verse. And that verse says these words, "A woman should not read the Torah aloud in the assembly." And then they say, "In honor of the congregation." Now that was a law, the oral tradition. (1:15:48) Now the Mishna and the Talmud had not been written yet. This was oral tradition. There was How many of you know that in your house there's a law that's not written, right? It may be the law in your house that if you if you got a snotty nose, you clean it. The problem is that's not in the American law. But everybody knows that's the law. (1:16:13) There's another law. When mama's clean the kitchen, don't go back in there. Right? That's a law. But the problem is it's not a law. It's the law of the house. It's the law of the family. And it's it's understood. Everybody understands it without writing it down. So Paul says, "You ask me a question about these women keeping silent and you say, "So saith the law." And he's like, "You're right. (1:16:51) The law does say that and it says it in the oral tradition that a woman's not allowed to read the Torah aloud in the assembly in honor of the congregation. That is what Yeshua hated. The added the added tradition of the Jewish fathers to the original Torah. Yes. And we in this ministry have been preaching that added tradition that we inherited from Judaism. (1:17:28) Amen. May God forgive us. As saith the law. The law that actually governed the synagogues of the first century was the oral tradition of the elders, the rabbis, the man-made rules that the Pharisees lived under that Yoshua literally died to kill. That's what he nailed. And here we are preaching that law to our women. (1:18:05) I'm preaching to me. Slide 58. Matthew 15 and six. You have made the Torah no effect. I set the women free. You've put them back in bondage because of your tradition. That was exhibit one for the prosecution. We've destroyed it. Let's go to exhibit two. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. (1:19:06) First of all, I've never been in a church that a woman was silent. Hallelujah. Not even in brother Brandham's church. they sang and everything else. I want to read something to you to help you out. All right. Amen. Now, let's read it. Let's read it together. Let's start at verse 11. And I'm going to give you a test to see if you know how to interpret your Bible. (1:19:51) Let the woman learn in silence with all submission. Now notice it doesn't say a woman. It says what? Somebody say thee. All right. Let her learn in silence with all submission. But I do not permit a woman to teach nor to usurp authority over a man, but to be silent. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived fell into sin. (1:20:23) Nevertheless, she will be saved through this childbearing if they remain in the faith. Now, first of all, what is your context here? All women or are we talking about marriage here? We're talking about women having babies. We're talking about the husband and the wife. That the wife cannot usurp authority over her husband, the man, the woman. (1:20:52) That's the whole context of this is marriage. This is nothing to do with the church. What Paul is saying, I do not allow wives to take authority over their husbands. Now, notice carefully. Well, pastor, we don't believe women should usurp authority. I don't either. I believe in order. But the Greek word for usurp authority is authent. (1:21:30) And it doesn't appear anywhere in your Bible except this one verse. And here's what it means. To dominate, to seize, to your serve, to take by force what is not rightly yours. Your King James translator called it usurp. So here's what Paul is forbidding for women. He's not forbidding a qualified woman from teaching sound doctrine. (1:22:07) He is forbidding a dominating, selfappointed seizure of authority by women that scream these words while they preach. I don't need a man to ordain me. Amen. Brothers and sisters, when a man of Yahweh lays his hand on a woman of Yahweh, she has not usurped authority. She has been granted of it. Hallelujah. (1:22:47) She has no problem knowing where headquarters is. She has no problem knowing that her her apostle is over her in the Lord. [clears throat] She don't have one problem with that. She's not usurping. She's not taking it. It was granted to her. She didn't seize anything. She sat in the chair of Elijah and allowed the oil to be poured over her head, the sword on her shoulder, the hand on her forehead. (1:23:22) She did not usurp it. She accepted it. This is the difference between the rebel and the ordained. I got news for you. It ain't only women that shouldn't be usurping authority. It's men, too. Come on now. A woman that climbs over the wall to seize a pull pit that nobody gave her. Paul forbids that and so do I. And it would be forbidden to any man in this church that did the same thing. (1:24:06) If you climb over the hierarchy of the house of God and take what does not belong to you by ordination, you have usurped authority. I say what's good for the goose is good for the gander. What's good for the woman's good for the man. We should none be usurping authority. But a woman called by Yahweh that's been examined by her elders, recognized by her apostle, and then set in place by the order of the house. She has seized nothing. Her authority is not stolen. It is granted. (1:24:58) And here is how authority rightly comes into the kingdom. Yahweh calls, the spirit gifts, the elders examine, the apostle recognizes, and the congregation receives. You may not know this. I'll show you how perfectly this works. Let's start off step number one. Yahweh calls. Apostles don't call you. Pastors don't call you. (1:25:36) No one calls you but Yahweh. It's divine. And then the spirit will gift you with what you need for the pullpit. But until the elders examine you and your apostle recognizes what Yahweh has called. I'd like to prove it to you if I may. Yahweh sent Yoshua to call Paul into the ministry. (1:26:09) And Paul said, "I didn't confer with flesh or blood for the calling." But if you'll go over, I think in Acts somewhere, it said, "Take Paul and Silas for the work of the ministry." I want you to hear me now. We all we left, we might need to read that. I think it'd be good. Let's find that scripture. Watch this. Paul was not called by the church. (1:26:39) He was called by Yesua, Yahweh through Yeshua. And uh I think it's Silas. Let's look up. See, Acts should be uh Uhhuh. Yeah. Acts 15:22. Acts 15:22. Now, this is after Saul has already seen Jesus face to face. Then it pleased the apostles and the elders and who else? The whole congregation to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. (1:27:25) That's not it. Sorry. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I've written it down. I'll find it for you later. Paul and Silas was sent forth by the congregation. What is it? Maybe. So, no, that's not it. Say it again. Let's read it. Read it, brother. Uhhuh. Saul had to be sent not by God. Ain't nobody hearing me. I don't think you're hearing it. (1:28:29) It they had to be sent. They was called by God. But you can't be sent by God. You have to be set by the church. Even Paul had to have the church to send him so that he wasn't usurping authority. So let's be careful when we talk about women usurping authority. Now in the home, in the home, stay in your lane, sister. That's right. (1:29:02) You have no authority over your husband in the home. None. I call that two jurisdictions. Two different covenants. One is a marriage covenant. That's household order. But then the assembly between the pastor and the flock is made up of many households. Many men and women who are not the pastor's spouse. These are the same relationship. (1:29:36) Women can be the pastor, the spiritual head of an assembly that includes men and at the same time be faithful wife to her own husband at home submitted fully to her husband. I'll give you an example. My grandmother, Sister Gatlin, when that woman took the pool pit, you knew who was in charge. (1:30:05) You just ain't nobody got to say nothing. She You knew where the anointing was. The minute I lived in that house, the minute she walked in them doors, Brother Terrell, what can I get for you? What do you need? Everything I would ever ask her to do, let's ask Brother Terl. You understand me? Amen. There was two different jurisdictions and she understood them when Queen Elizabeth was put on the throne. (1:30:38) Here's what she said a week after. Now, now, now let me ask you a question. We know whose throne that is, David. Now, if you believe that God raises up kings and takes them down, then you have to believe God raised up Queen Elizabeth and set her on David's throne. But right after she was put on the throne, she made an announcement to the world. (1:31:05) While I will be the sovereign of the people, Philillip is the head of our home. Amen. Amen. She understood the two jurisdictions. Now, there's one more prosecution verse I don't even think I'll fool with today. It's in the Old Testament about women ruling over them. How it's a curse that you can find that in Isaiah 3:12, but you're not reading the context. (1:31:41) Yahweh was promising to take all the men out of Israel and put them in bondage and all they would be left with is unqualified rulers and women would be ruling instead of men. That's all that's talking about. I wish they had more time to go into each one of them. It also said children would rule over them. (1:32:00) Okay. Now, there's a lot here we're going to skip over, brother, and I'm going to go to the end. Slide 71. here. Before I render the official verdict, I'm going to fence it in because a truth left unguarded becomes a weapon in rebellious hands. I need you to listen, sisters, all of you. The mistake and the problem we have is as soon as you preach this, if people take it with carnality, they will override the men of the church and take and so I'm going to try to do this in a way that I will not error one (1:32:48) way or the other. I did not teach you today that a woman can seize authority. The calling comes from Yahweh and must be confirmed by the house. A woman that grabs the office out of ambition, who appoints herself, who climbs over the appointed order, she is a usurper. It does not mean a woman can despise male headship. (1:33:16) The order of headship in the home and the assembly is Yahweh's preferred pattern. And this verdict does not abolish that. But a woman walking in her calling does not trample that order. She honors it. It does not mean a woman can bypass examination, ordination, or covering. Nobody can. It does not mean a woman's gift automatically makes her a pastor. A gift is not an office. (1:33:50) A gifted woman just like a gifted man must still be called set in place through proper order. Let me give you the balance because the balance is everything. I want you to understand the true verdict. Let's go to slide 73. Here is the verdict after we've called the witnesses as the law requires. the daughters of Yahweh after my diligent search may lead and teach and prophesy and shepherd in his assembly. (1:34:32) My verdict is that the law never forbade it. The spirit was poured out for this purpose. The apostles practiced it. The church remembered it for a thousand years before tradition buried it. So all of our daughters watching live and those here today, to the women of this house, to the preachers, the leaders among our female assembly members that has ever felt discouraged, hindered, or held back from the call of Yahweh on your life because of my words. (1:35:23) I ask your forgiveness and repent before this body for walking in the traditions of men. The error was mine. It was not the word and it wasn't yours. Sister, walk in your calling under order by the anointing and Yahweh will honor you as he honored Deborah. And to the men of Yahweh, hear an equal word, because this verdict is no license for you to now let the women do it. (1:35:58) Deborah does not exist to shame women into silence. She existed to shame Barack out of his cowardice. If Yahweh has called you, sir, to take a stand and lead, then don't wait for a woman to do it. Lead. shepherd, carry the weight that he's laid on you. Don't abandon your field and then grumble when a woman takes it up. (1:36:26) Yahweh sends a daughter every time to do the work that you refuse to do. Let no man become lazy because Judah was always there. She was never lost. And so from this day forward, it is the law of this house to line up with the Torah that women may serve as pastors throughout our congregations with the blessings of this house. (1:36:59) And with that said, I would like for my wife to come and sit in the chair of Elijah to be ordained as my co-pastor here at this assembly. Amen. Would somebody walk her up this morning? Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Daddy, bring her up. Hallelujah. Thank you, Father. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. (1:37:27) Bishop Kendrick, would you come this morning? My wife has not asked for this position, nor does she want it. But I've held her back long enough. It is time for her to become pastor Karen among our assemblies. Amen. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Father. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Summary

The message puts the question of women pastors “on trial” by calling three witnesses: Junia, the Torah, and a larger cloud of women used in Scripture. It argues that women such as Junia, Deborah, Huldah, Miriam, Phoebe, Priscilla, and Philip’s daughters demonstrate that Yahweh has used women in apostolic, prophetic, teaching, leadership, and ministry roles. The teaching concludes that women may serve as pastors under proper order and ordination, while distinguishing congregational authority from household headship and rejecting self-appointed authority.
