THREE MEASURES OF KINGDOM BREAD: How Yahweh will feed the entire earth (Part One) 4/18/26
Pastor John Shane Vaughn — First Harvest Ministries International
________________
Hey, I want to preach to you; we are in the Omer count; tomorrow is the seventh day or the first full week; can you believe that? The first full week of the Omer count is almost over; we only get seven of those before the day of Pentecost; and I'm afraid that during Passover, because Yahweh gave me the proximity message that required three different services to preach it, I wasn't able to preach on unleavened bread like I wanted to and like I do every year.
I wasn't able to really dig into it this year and but I should have and today is the only day I can do it; but it's still appropriate because the counting of the Omer is all about bread anyway; so this is really the bread festival is what this is; amen; this is the seven weeks rather that you can get off your carnivore diet and just have a bread festival; hallelujah; praise the Lord; amen.
Everything that God is doing in the earth today starts with that; yes sir; that's it; to get a field of golden grain, you must first have the first stalk; that's right; one day planet Earth will be a field of golden grain; amen; hallelujah; the entire planet, yes sir, will be a field of golden grain; to get that golden grain it all starts with the sheath of first fruits; Yesua is not the first fruits; he's the sheath; he's the beginning of what God is doing in the earth today.
So keep that in mind as we go into today's message in the book of Matthew chapter 13 verse 33; I want to teach you a parable today that Yesua taught that no one has ever in 2,000 years comprehended its meaning until today; now you take that lightly; but there is a parable that Yesua taught that no one has comprehended; now when I say no one, no published work, no sermons anywhere; there's no published proof that anyone has ever understood this parable until today.
April the 16th or whatever today is; 18th; 2026 is a great revelation; why do you think I'm getting started early today? Amen; because I know when I come loaded with fire; amen; amen; there has been a revelation given to me from the Holy Ghost on a parable that no one has ever comprehended; you're going to get it today.
Matthew 13:33; he spoke another parable to them and said, the kingdom of Yahweh is like leaven which a woman took and mixed it within three measures of flour until all of it was leavened; amen; you may be seated; that parable may be the most profound parable I've ever read; and I didn't know how profound it was until it became profound to me during the counting of the Omer.
Turn with me to 2 Corinthians chapter 4:7; 2 Corinthians 4 and verse 7; hallelujah; however, we possess this treasure in vessels of earth; now, somebody, Paul is telling somebody that they possess a treasure; yes sir; in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of Yahweh and not of us.
Revelation chapter 6 verse 6; and I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, a measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and do not hurt the oil and the wine; amen; today's going to feel more like a Sabbath school lesson than a message that I normally would preach because I've got a lot of explaining to do on this revelation.
Number one, let's destroy something that we've always believed; the church has always taught us that leaven is sin; it represents sin; for 2,000 years we've been told that leaven represents sin; but there's a major problem because Yesua compares the kingdom of God to sin; hallelujah; Yesua said the kingdom of God is just likened unto leaven; surely he's not comparing the kingdom of God with sin.
Matthew 13:33; this is why nobody can figure out this parable because Yesua compared the kingdom to sin; they skip the verse; they twist it; they preach around this verse; no one can explain it; no one; you go call your favorite preacher and ask them why the kingdom of God is compared to sin and they will not have an answer; as a matter of fact they're embarrassed by this parable; all of Christianity, no one can explain it.
But the truth is Yesua did not compare the kingdom to sin because leaven is not sin; so if leaven does not mean sin, what does it mean? The Hebrew word is seor, s-e-o-r; the Greek word is zymē; and they both mean the same thing; leaven is an agent of fermentation; it is a living; it is a living mixture; yes sir; of microorganisms.
Yes sir; do you know what a microorganism is? It's a living thing in the air, floating all around you; microorganisms, bacteria, fungus, back, they all are alive; they all have life in them; and there is yeast which is alive; that's right; but where do you find it? There was a day you didn't find it in the grocery store; I'm going somewhere; amen; there was a day you didn't buy yeast in a package, but you needed fermentation.
And the truth is all of the living atmosphere, the mixture of the good and the bad, the yeast is good, the bacteria is not, the fungus is not, but they all fly together; hallelujah; leaven is not sin; leaven is a mixture; or we could say more precisely, that leaven is, if you're asking me for one word to describe leaven, it's not sin and it's not even mixture; there's one word that you need to begin to use from now on: influence.
Okay; yes sir; that makes sense; that's right; leaven is a living influence in your life; it's influence; that's what leaven is; and when that living leaven falls on anything, it begins to transform it from the inside out, especially flour and water; come on now; it is a transforming influence; here's the thing: anything in your life that is transforming you because it's influencing you is leaven.
It's all around you; it's floating; oh, it's in the wind; oh, it's on YouTube; oh, it's on your inbox; oh, it's all, there are things that are influencing you from the outside that's moving into the inside and that is leaven; now, Elder Anikitch, leaven is neither good nor bad; it's just influence one way or the other; all right.
As a matter of fact, if you get the right influence on a piece of flour, yes sir, you get some good bread; yes sir; come on now; oh, hallelujah; so influence is not evil; as a matter of fact, as Professor Toto, I am an influencer; yes you are; now what does that mean? All week long you've been watching the news and you've been seeing what all everybody has to say; you're being influenced; and suddenly you tune in to another influencer that brings you truth and suddenly it begins to transform how you were thinking from the inside out.
I have become leaven in millions of lives; why? Because whatever is influencing you is transforming you from the inside out; leaven is not evil; influence is not determined, watch this, by what's in the atmosphere; it's determined by what it lands on; watch this; now that's why I tell people in this ministry, the same voices all over the interweb that were saying things, when it fell on certain types of bread, because you've all been influenced by the same thing; but the problem is your bread could not be influenced cuz it was already leavened with another kind of leaven; oh, blessed be God.
Hallelujah; hallelujah; there are two kinds of leaven in the world; two kinds of influence; until you understand the difference you will not understand one parable ever taught; leaven is the background pressure of the environment working its way to the inside of the lump; it's okay if I slow down a little bit; break it down; this congregation is a loaf of bread; the background pressure of the environment begins working through you.
There are two kinds of leaven; bring that first one up, Elder; until you understand the difference between the two, you will not understand the parable; let's talk about the first kind of leaven; it's wild leaven; yeah; now this is the difference in the two leavens; you get the right leaven, that's what you get on the left; but do you know why your food begins to mold if it's left out? You look at that food and you see green growing on it; it was uncovered; it was not protected from the environment, the influence that was falling upon it; you didn't put a lid on it.
Oh, hallelujah; come on, son; I don't know if anybody's going to help me today but I'm going to try to help you; everything you're becoming is in the air, sir; everything you're becoming; let's talk about this wild leaven on the right here, okay; the wild leaven is the mixture; it's what settles out of the air when you leave your dough uncovered; have you ever wondered why bakers put a towel over their bread? To protect it from the atmosphere; wow.
Do you know why on the day of Shavuot, Pentecost, you're to put a veil over your face? You are being protected from the atmosphere that's falling all upon you; so you take your bread, your flour and your water, and you mix it; the next thing you do is leave it out; why? Because if you don't have that little pack of leaven, it's got to find some leaven; and it will; oh, it will; you just put it out.
And a few little bacteria, a living thing, is going to attach to that bread; fungus, spores, all going to, and the life that's in those things is going to insert itself into the bread; and it won't be long, you'll look around and see something that was unleavened in a perfectly pure state; now watch this; suddenly it begins to rise on with no work on its own; it's the environment, the proximity; yes sir; it's what you're close to.
Hallelujah; because what happens to that loaf of bread? And by the way, when you're depending on wild leaven you never know what kind of bread you're going to wind up with; it's sourdough or it could taste bitter; but why? It's going to taste like the spores that found its way into the dough; amen; it's a living mixture of every spore.
Now watch this; let me show you wild leaven; it's a mixture; you get all of these different doctrines, all these different teachers and preachers and ministries, you start getting all of these different voices in your head; and it will not be long; some of you right now is moving into that area; you're listening, you're starting to, and let me tell you what's starting to happen to you: when you start getting the life of those lies, the life of those other things into your life, that's a mixture; you got a little bit of spores, a little bacteria, a little bit of yeast; there's a little good in every sermon.
Hallelujah; but because your leaven is wild, you don't know what you're going to get; that's why there's some saints of God, you never know what you're going to get; that's right; but from today to tomorrow, today they might be full of faith, tomorrow they ready to kill theirselves; why? Mixture; you're being pressured from the outside; it's random; amen; too many of you are random; amen; too many watching me are random; you're hit and miss; you know why? Wild leaven.
You're mixing it with a little bit of Christianity, a little bit of Judaism, a little bit of this and a little bit of that; just mix it all together; whatever happens to be floating in the wind that day is how you act; oh yeah; yesterday you woke up happy, tomorrow you wake up mad at the world; you know why? You're a wild child; you're not covered; you're not covered; amen; you're in the wrong proximity; you're under the wrong influence.
In this falling age that we live in today, Satan is the prince of the power of the atmosphere; what does that mean? His ideas, his thoughts, his way of thinking, his rebellion is all floating by your bread; his discouragement, his depression, his I'm tired of waiting; I'm ready to; but let me tell you, Satan never could keep his position; he always had to look for the next thing moving along; why? Because it's a floating mixture.
Yes sir; that's why you wake up from one day to the next in a different mood; not me; every time these feet hit the floor, thank you Lord for another day; I'm covered; thank you Lord for waking me up this morning; you didn't have to do it but you did; I'm not a floater; I'm not a floater; oh, no, no, no, no, no; by the way, you will get a loaf of bread out of wild yeast.
But here's the problem; when you bite into it, you're going to get sour bread, bitter bread; wild yeast produces a loaf that no one wants to eat; however, the loaf looks the same as the other loaf; they're both Christians; they both go to church; oh, come on now; they're both filled with something, they both feel they're filling up; and look how beautiful they both are; you can't see all of that on that right when it looks the same as the other one; but slowly but surely everything that's influencing you begins transforming you.
Yes sir; amen; Apostle; amen, amen; hallelujah; wild leaven is the leaven of the Pharisees; it's mixture, hypocrisy settling into the dough of the church; the leaven of Herod, Yesua talked about political corruption settling into the dough of the church; wild leaven is the leaven of malice and wickedness that Paul commanded us to purge out during the feast of unleavened bread.
Wild leaven is the background pressure of Satan's kingdom; remember that; every day you wake up, Minister Larry, you're going to rise that day; the question is not are you going to rise, but with what are you going to rise? Hallelujah; hallelujah; where does this leaven, wild leaven, come from? It's in the air you breathe; it's on your television in your home; it's on your music choices on Spotify; it's on every billboard that you look at; it's in every carnal conversation at the grocery store.
You do not have to invite wild leaven in; it settles on any loaf left uncovered; it will settle on; you don't have to invite it in; you don't have to invite it in; just uncover the loaf; that's all you got to do; uncover it; and I'm going to talk to you in a minute about why it's covered so you can comprehend what this parable is talking about; you don't have to invite it in; just leave it uncovered; and what happens is good bread will turn sour.
Amen; oh yeah; you can take a good block of cheese, set it on the counter, and unless you want to eat brick cheese, then you'll see them green edges begin; what happened? Nothing happened inside the cheese; it was on the outside and it got on the inside; you understand me, right? Hallelujah; I've come to tell every one of you today: every single day that you wake up, you better cover your cheese; you better wrap it in a Ziploc bag like it's the most precious gift you've ever been given; don't you let the leaven of the Pharisees get on your cheese.
So if you want to know why the whole world except God's people tend towards decay, there's a natural rot, yeah, that happens in an uncovered world; oh yeah; that's why marriages fail; they, it wasn't covered; oh yes; it begins to rot; not because your husband's bad or the wife is bad, but the people you're texting is bad and the people you're working with is bad and the people all around you is bad; and you're not strong enough to keep the bad off of you unless you are covered with a Ziploc covering; hallelujah.
That's why every human heart eventually grows evil, bad, selfish; amen; there is not a human, you know, unless they are an Israelite filled with the Holy Ghost, that's not in it for themselves; not a human, you know; why? Because the wild yeast in the air never stops falling.
Do you know you'll leave this service today, Sister Brody, and you'll be on top of the world for about two or three hours, and suddenly those spores begin to fall; you just stepped, all you're doing is walking through life; that's all you're doing; you really believed what the preacher preached today; you believed it when he said it; and when you was being influenced by him, you was gravitating away from the rot; you understand me, right? Yes sir; yes sir; yes sir.
When you was listening to the revelation of truth, how many of you, whenever you, the moment you put on a sermon, you start gravitating back away from the rot; why? Oh, hallelujah; you're covering yourself; you're covering yourself; you're covering yourself; but the very moment the sermon ends the lies begin; and you're walking among them; all you did was watch the news that night; that was it; before you was ready to shoot yourself; all you did; why? There's spores falling in the atmosphere; that makes sense, Apostle; amen.
The leaven itself is not sin; the leaven is the mixture that causes influence; amen; and when you begin mixing holiness with worldliness, that's leaven; why? Because there's one thing about worldliness: it's stronger than holiness; oh yes it is; oh yes; all you've got to do, the moment you walk out them doors, guess where you're going to spend the next 22 hours of your life? In worldliness.
You're right; oh, in here you felt like praying more; and in here you think, I'll fast next week; in here you said, you know what, I'm getting in one of Pastor's books and I'm going to finish the whole book; anybody ever said that? I'm going to do the whole thing this week; and the minute your foot gets back out there in the wild, suddenly all of these voices begin to influence you, to rot towards mildew, towards fungus; and before you know it you're turning into a loaf of bread that you swore you would never become; it's transforming you from the inside out.
You know, I never used to understand in the old holiness church that I grew up in, we made fun, I won't lie to you, we made fun of my grandmother and those old preachers; I remember, and this is going to be a little much for some of you to actually believe, but when I was growing up, we wasn't even allowed to go to the skating rink; that's right; I remember that; we weren't allowed to go to ball games; oh, you don't know how I grew up; yes sir; ah, yes, Sister Carolyn does.
Now we wasn't allowed; we were, you know, you didn't go; if you went to a restaurant, it had a bar in it, you needed to go to another restaurant; do you know why? Them old-timers understood; they couldn't put quite into these same words what I'm doing today, but they understood; they understood when you get in those environments, when you get in those proximities, no matter how much you love God or how much Holy Ghost you have, you cannot protect yourself from leaven, from the atmosphere; you have no power over this world.
The only power you have over this world is where you choose to stand, where you choose to cover yourself, where you choose to believe and what to believe, and to associate with; that's right; back then we asked the old preachers, where does it say in the Bible that I can't go there? They couldn't give me a scripture; no sir; no sir; but they had something called wisdom; and it said, son, I can't point to a verse, but if you care for your soul, that's right.
My grandmother would preach it so hard; she would stand in the pulpit and her favorite song, we used to sing, this train is a clean train; and she would sing those verses, everybody rides in Jesus name; and she said, we'll be no cigarette smokers on this train; won't be no fornicators and dictators on this train; she'd go down the line; and the reason I know what she was trying to do, she wanted to make sure that we stayed under the covering of the church.
That's why they had church on Sunday night, Sunday morning, Friday night, Wednesday night, prayer meeting on Thursday night; you need the right leaven falling on you; you need the right atmosphere every day of your life; you need the right atmosphere every single day of your life; you've got to get into that area, that surrounding of the Holy Ghost and the atmosphere of holiness unto Yahweh; holiness; hallelujah; you got to; hallelujah; hallelujah.
Mama said I'm preaching; hallelujah; hallelujah; Holy Ghost; hallelujah; grandmother in you right now; you got your grandmother spirit in you right now; hallelujah; I want everybody to hear this; let me tell you what, we need to get back to that; every bit of it; we need to get back to that; I want you to listen to him; hallelujah; somebody shout holiness unto the Lord; hallelujah.
Oh everything; oh God; we used to have church so much; I didn't understand it; I didn't know why; but I know now; I know now; oh, you're not strong enough; you're not strong enough for this world; you got to get under the covering of prayer and the covering of the saints and the covering of the word; woo; hallelujah; hallelujah; you're not strong enough; you're not strong enough; hallelujah; you're not strong enough, saints; you're just a piece of bread; you need a covering; you need a covering; you need a covering; protect the bread.
Hallelujah; hallelujah; there's a reason I started preaching early; knew I had a word from the Lord; hallelujah; hallelujah; so many of you are so busy counting the Omer days without protecting the bread; oh, this ain't about counting days; it's about protecting the bread; it's about covering the bread every day; cover the bread from the wild leaven; woo.
Let me show you what happens; now those of you watching me live, you can take this how you want to, that's up to you; I'm not here to tell anybody what to do; but here's what I am here to tell you; you'll come out of a hot prayer meeting, just touch God, and a country song will come on your radio station about somebody; and then a, and then a, you'll hear the beat of, ain't no child of God got no business listening to a thug beat; none of hip-hop; why? Because it's influencing you.
Yes sir; Minister Damian, don't you ever listen to another drop of hip-hop; you understand me? I can tell him what to do; he's one of my ministers; the rest of you do what you want to; but I've come to tell you, if you plan to rise, if you plan to rise in the first resurrection, you got to protect the bread; you've got to cover it; you got to cover it from the top of your head to the sole of your feet; all right; hallelujah.
Some of you so busy putting on this covering and yet you're not covering; that's right; come on now; and I'm not against this, but you better make sure this represents something greater than a piece of cloth; I'm going to prove this to you; you're not strong enough; everyone, I begged them not to go to that website and read that Facebook page; they thought they were strong enough; wasn't long they wasn't respecting their apostle; spores got in their mind; yeast got in their mind.
I can't protect you if you won't cover your mind; if you won't cover yourself from this world and the grossness of it; hallelujah; hallelujah; you got to cover it up; them bakers, they put that bread, that loaf, that towel all the way around that bread; cover it up; why? Any air, any entrance into your life, you're gonna start rising in the wrong direction.
I'm here to tell somebody today, I came with a burden on my heart; you're, some of you are rising, but you're rising in the wrong direction; you're listening to the wrong voices, going to the wrong places, visiting the wrong websites, going and listening to the wrong; and what's happening is you thought you were strong; I just want to see what's being said; go ahead; you're not strong enough; you're not strong enough.
You may be seated; oh, this is good; you make a great mistake, Bishop Kendrick; the Bible said I can't trust the flesh, not for one moment; sir; the Bible said put no faith in the flesh, in the bread; amen; that's right; it won't be long; I'm going to use Minister Gino; come here son; I'm going to use you for an example; and if it embarrasses you, then that's part of your training.
This man came here how long ago? Two years; two years ago, loving his pastor and this ministry and this message; there was a time in his life where anything within reason he would have done to be in obedience to this ministry; a situation happened that caused him to lose his own mind and leave, the want to leave the very place that Yahweh had sent him; outside pressure, outside thoughts, outside things happening from other people to him.
And before you knew it, he was back in Minnesota; Minnesota; how did you get there, Minister Gino? Did the message change? Nope; did God's will change? No; no; he was rising in the wrong direction; that's right; see, you know why? Without a constant covering you're not strong enough; but he's rising now in the right direction; amen; hallelujah; hallelujah.
You have got to be careful, children, of music; involved music; yeah; but it was music that brought you in, huh? Amen; yes ma'am; Christian, that's a fact, that's a fact; they come into the church and bring their beat; you're right honey; the church has its own sound; we don't sound like the world; our songs don't sound like the world; amen; we have our own sound; we're a separated, we are a separated piece of bread; hallelujah. 57 There's another kind of leaven; if you'll bring that screen up; there's another kind of leaven I want to talk to you about; remember this: leaven is alive; microorganisms are alive; you will leave the house of God; let's talk about cultivated leaven; now this is a whole different kind of leaven here; cultivated leaven carries the character of a specific people from a specific place; now I want you to hear me now because this is interesting.
How many of you has ever heard of starter bread? Yes sir; I knew that; amen; what'd you just say? Same source; you quit making your bread from wild sources; you get a trusted source; starter bread has everything in it that has ever touched it; watch this; grandma's hands; people you trust; great grandma, great great grand, whoever started that loaf.
They take a little piece off, right? Put it in an earthen vessel; hang tight; hang tight with me now; come on now; they put it in a little clay jar; and their great grandchildren will be making the same bread that great great great grand made; bread you can trust; bread you can trust; I'm preaching better than you listening now; when you inherit a piece of starter bread, you inherit the entire village you came from.
Oh yes; and when Ain't Susie and Ain't Linda all came over to knead that loaf that started with great great grandma; oh, there's trusted hands; there's trusted village that you know; that's called cultivated leaven; when you get here, when you get a good piece of starter bread, you get grandma that lived through the great depression kneading that bread; you've got grandma in the bread because anything that's ever touched it lives in the starter; oh, hold on; everything that's ever touched it lives in the starter.
Ain't nobody hearing me; in the starter; we're going to get there in just a few minutes; I promise you; hallelujah; oh, this is the starter bread; this is the sourdough; this is the starter bread; and anything that's created from it will taste just like it; the taste will never change; the look will never change; the texture will never change; hallelujah; hallelujah.
Cultivated leaven is deliberate; let me tell you how you get cultivated leaven; you make that first batch; you mix your flour and your water; set it on the table; you don't have your little packet of leaven, so you just let it rise; it starts collecting; it may be that on that day it collected some good stuff; and you bake it and you taste that bread; there's no sour in it; there's no bitter in it; that's good bread.
Because what happened was real yeast landed on it instead of bacteria and mold; so now you've got a good and you're like, you know what? I want my third great grandchild to taste this same bread; I want them to see what real bread tastes like; so what does grandma do? She takes off a piece, goes find a little clay jar, an earthen vessel; you're going to pick it up in about 10 minutes where I'm going; come on now; she's going to take that starter and put it in an earthen vessel.
And a hundred years from then the grandchildren will be eating the same bread that grandmother made; how did she get good bread that day? By grace; grace fell on the bread and she took that grace and passed it down from generation to generation; don't make fun of the bread grandma made; at 14 years old the Holy Ghost fell on my grandmother over in Holden, Louisiana; she was just an old piece of bread; she was singing country music.
But one day, one day, a little bit of grace fell on her bread and it began rising into good bread; and before she died, she left that bread and put it in her grandchildren; said, if you want the good bread, hold on to it; don't let it go sour; there's prayer in that bread; there's holiness in that bread; there's fasting in that bread; there's power in that bread; hallelujah; there's faith in that bread.
It's deliberate bread; you put it out when you get lucky; but what the world calls lucky, we call it blessed; and one day, Sister Brody, by God's grace, you don't get the bacteria that day, but you get the preached word of God and it falls on you and it takes hold of your life and you begin seeing yourself rising in a good direction; that bread you must preserve for your children; somebody say deliberate bread.
The reason Yesua had to be unleavened is because he was going to be the starter bread of a brand new lump; there couldn't be no bacteria, no fungus, no mold, no carnality; he had to be filled with that good yeast from heaven; that's why he said I am the Bread of Life; there's no death in this bread; it's only the good life.
That's why on Passover night he tells you to eat the unleavened bread; it's the night every year to check for mixture in your life; why is that? Because the next morning it's time for you to start rising; and what he wants you to rise with is what you drank in the cup; anybody with me now? The life of Christ; anybody thought of the life of Christ? Every year he invites you to check the bread; unleavened it for seven days; eat unleavened bread; go back to the starter bread; go back to the starter bread; oh, and get everything out of you that's fell on you all year long; praise God.
I've got to hurry now; cultivated leaven is tended, taken care of, preserved, and protected; they don't nobody protect bad bread; but when you get some good bread, you're protected; and now you know why Yesua said the kingdom of Yahweh is like leaven; it's got to be protected, preserved, stored away in an airtight container; who you allow to speak to you will mess up your bread.
He said the kingdom of heaven is like leaven; notice what he said; a woman, who is the woman? The church; yes sir; the bride of Christ; took, notice what the woman, read the parable; he said the kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven; a woman took it; what did the woman take? The starter bread; yes sir, yes sir; who brought her the starter bread? Yes; and gave it to the woman; hallelujah; yeah; the Bible said the woman took the starter bread and hid it; so she protected it; she covered it; she covered it; she covered it; she protected it; but she didn't just hide it; there's a part there you're missing; notice how she hid it.
In three measures of meal or barley; listen to this now; we're going to get somewhere in just a minute; Yesua gave us the starter bread and he said now for it to grow it's got to come through 30, 60, and 100; come on now; he said I want you, don't you share this bread with the world; hide it; I don't need you to share it; I need you to protect it, because something's going to happen; if I can get this bread through the 30, the 60, and the hundredfold, then I can feed it to the whole world.
I can feed it to the whole world; I can't preach in one place y'all; you can feed it to the whole world; you may be seated; hallelujah; hallelujah; amen; Yesua activated strain of righteousness; he gave it to you; yeah; when he filled you with the Holy Ghost, you took the bread, right; but now he said I've given you a treasure in earthen vessels; that; right; watch this now.
He said what I've given you is not for the world; and the problem is you open the doors of the church and invite them all to come in and sit among you; wow; wow; wow; we want them all to come; no; no no no no no no no no no; you better put a lid on that bread; if not, everything they're carrying will fall on the bread; they come in dressing like the world, you'll want to dress like the world; they come in singing hip-hop; why? Because you're not covered.
Look, this is a covered ministry; oh no; we don't need you to find us; we'll find you; why? We took the bread and we got a lid on it; yes sir; every cultivated starter in the world started out as wild yeast; yes sir; that's why Yesua had to grow and learn; everybody started out as wild yeast; every sourdough starter that ever existed began as random wild yeast floating in the air; the same sour, bitter, unpredictable yeast; there is no other source than the atmosphere.
You cannot manufacture yeast, Minister Sarah, out of nothing; every cultivated culture in human history started its life as a wild culture; but here's what most people miss; those ancient bakers, those bread makers, just like Minister Ryan; now I know why the Lord sent us a bread maker; I have no idea what you was passing all that bread around for; hallelujah; amen; it was a parable; he sent us a bread maker to cause us to see a parable; yes; amen.
Every bread maker in the ancient world, here's what they did not do; and I know it's getting late, but bear with me, I've just not even started, please hang tight; they did not keep baking bread out of wild yeast; now, come on now; they kept trying until they got a lucky day, a grace day, not by works lest any man should boast; come on now; oh, but one day grace fell on the loaf of bread and began to grow the preached word of God.
So finally once they got the good bread, guess what they did not do tomorrow? They didn't cook again from wild yeast; they were through guessing; they were through looking for truth; truth found them; anybody with me now? Oh, they was done searching; the search was over; come on now; the baker was depending on grace before, but now it's with works; ain't nobody heard me now; when grace fell on the bread, that was not by works.
No man can boast and say I created this good bread; no, you didn't; you had nothing to do with good yeast falling on your bread; nothing; but here's what you do have to do: when it falls, go and be baptized in the name of Yeshua; go and walk in holiness; now you start sealing that free gift up in an earthen vessel; yes sir; that very day you grab that good grace bread and now you don't, you don't need grace anymore; you got grace in the beginning; now you go to work and knead the bread.
Knead the bread, sorry; you go tell a baker, ain't no works involved; grace and works is beautifully displayed in bread; yes sir; Sister Lydia, Minister Lydia, if me and you took flour and water right now and we both went outside and we tasted your bread, tasted mine, they were both horrible, bitter, sour; try it again the next day; try it again the next day; finally a little grace falls on your bread; you know what you're going to do? Grab; you going to grab that bread so fast; why? Cuz you don't want to depend on grace again.
Hallelujah; is anybody here today? You don't want to make a mockery out of grace; why? You don't need grace anymore; it was given to you freely; now make yourself worthy of it; protect grace; that's why the Apostle Paul I believe said we bring Christ to an open shame when we keep going back to salvation to grace; why? We didn't protect that little drop of yeast that fell from heaven; the bread of heaven; that's what he meant when he said I came from heaven; not him as a man but the yeast that was in him came from heaven; hallelujah.
First, you capture the wild yeast; second, they observed which batch was good; third, you know what they did, Sister Chelsea? They looked around the congregation and said, you know what? That's good bread right there, Brother Kendrick's good bread, sir; you know what they did? They said I want to get my yeast, my dough, I want to draw the yeast into my dough; proximity; you understand? I want to pull out of that good bread and I'll grow from that.
That's why Yesua's disciples grew without the Holy Ghost; they were touching the bread; they were receiving life from the good bread; you can be full of the Holy Ghost; you get in the wrong proximity, you'll be dead tomorrow; there'll be nothing left in you; and do you know what you have to do once you capture that bread? You have to feed it every day; did you know that? Did you know what you have to do to start a bread? You got to bring it fresh flour and fresh water every single day.
If you neglect starter bread for a week, guess what begins to happen now? Watch this; that good bread that was so good, when you neglect it, something else will feed it; the atmosphere, the wild leaven will return; and what was filled with the Holy Ghost and on fire for God and on its way to the kingdom of God suddenly; some of you started in this ministry on fire for my preaching and this truth that we bring you; and then suddenly what I'm going to tell you what began to happen: the further you drift away from headquarters and the closer you get to this world, you start bringing in what's in those lives.
Do you know the only time I didn't want to be around my grandmother, and I adored her, the ground she walked; but when I wasn't doing right, oh no, I didn't even want to see her show up; I didn't want to go nowhere around her; why? We had two different lives growing in us; hallelujah; do you know what happened to that good bread, Elder HR? It'll have become sour again; I've watched many in this ministry that begin to grow become sour again; why? Wrong life, wrong organisms.
Every one of you in this room, every minister in this room started off wild; you were not all born into this truth; I was wild yeast floating in the air; that's what we all were; the Apostle Paul started out wild, he was persecuting the church; Peter started out wild, he was cutting ears off; Matthew started out wild, he was a tax collector; Rahab started out wild; Ruth started out wild, she was a Moabitess; the whole house of Israel started out wild, they were slaves in Egypt.
Yahweh does not start with a cultivated people; he starts with a wild people; he captures it, observes it, preserves it, feeds it, and cultivates it; 30, 60, and 100, into starter bread; hallelujah; glory; everybody in this room, we were wild, sniffing the wind; and he took us and captured us to feed us that good bread; yes sir; do you know why? But he doesn't do it all at one time; he does it in three measures; yes sir.
Because when he's done he will finally have the starter bread to feed the world; amen; Apostle; hallelujah; the problem with the church today: we are trying to feed the world now with old mixed up bread; wrong doctrines, wrong teachings; and we're trying to get everybody saved with mixed up bread; Yahweh says no, I just need you to get right; come through the 30, the 60, and the 100, and then I'll break you off and start another loaf; hallelujah.
Whatever he winds up making, Pastor Chelsea, out of us is what the world will look like; yes sir; amen; I need you to really grab that, sir; let me ask you a question: what if today you were the starter bread in your present condition for the next loaf of the whole world? How would that bread look? Would it be up and down? Would it be lumpy, grumpy? Would it be soft and unpliable and just watery? Or would it have been brought to perfection under the 30, the 60, the hundred measurements?
To where when you look at that person, and I'll use Dad since he's our best example, when you look at that person and you say, I can't imagine meeting Christ would be much different than meeting Brother Kendrick; amen; amen; I say that, honey, I believe that; I couldn't imagine Christ being much more; why? My Bible said that by the time we get through the 30, 60, 100, we look just like him; that's right.
I'm gonna try to land this plane here; the Lord is calling a bunch of wild people to become starter bread; the only thing that can leaven the lump is a cultivated starter; notice that parable; the parable said she took the leaven, the kingdom of Yahweh, and put it in her meal, her flour, and turned it three times; 30; this is the church; 60 and 100.
On that third time she had distributed the kingdom of God throughout the church, evenly and perfectly, because she was making a loaf that came from heaven; and very soon this loaf would be broken and the next loaf began; you're listening to me; the loaf that's going to change the world, watch this, is not the beginning of the leaven; it's the 30, the 60, the hundredfold, how it turns out; that's what Yahweh called you for: to turn you into a thirdfold leavened piece of bread.
Why do you think in six weeks from now, why do you think on the day of Pentecost, he says now take the two loaves of bread and present them to me? Because I was never interested in this; I was interested in the two witnesses, the two loaves of bread that will bring forth the worldwide harvest; I'm going to close with the three measures.
I'm on part three of 12 parts today; so we'll try this; I just want to close with these few words; if someone could bring me water, please; when Yesua spoke this parable he did not say the kingdom of heaven is like leaven hid in one measure of meal; he didn't say it was two measures; thank you; he didn't say seven measures; he said the kingdom of God is like leaven in three specific measures.
Now why would the parable say that? Think about it; why would the parable say that? Three distinct portions, three ordered stages; listen to me; there will be some that will only come to the 30-fold level, 60, the three stages of growth that every believer has to pass through; when you take the kingdom of God, the woman took that leaven, the church, we took it, we got it free and we took it; that's right; now it's your duty to cause it to rise; yes sir; to do that it has to rise in you first.
And to do that it goes through three stages of growth; the kingdom of Yahweh is growing right now inside the First Harvest in three measures, in three stages, in three distinct maturations of the leaven; and very soon, my friend, sooner than many of you realize, the whole world is going to be filled with this good leaven that began in us.
Now I want to show you what's going to happen in the millennial kingdom; watch what begins to happen; now in the millennial kingdom all the bacteria, the spores will be bound for a thousand years; you understand? There will be no outside influence to ruin the bread; all that will be on the earth will be this cultivated leaven; where was it cultivated? At Arnold Street and Old Spanish Trail; there was a cultivation of bread that Yahweh was doing right here; and the only thing that will be falling in the millennial reign will be the Holy Ghost on all bread, on all flesh; so it will fill the whole earth with a good loaf of bread.
But listen to me carefully and listen well; Yahweh, watch this; oh, now help me Lord; the Bible said the Apostle Paul planted the seed, Apollos watered, but Yahweh gave the increase; now watch this; this is important; Yahweh prophesied that one day the whole earth would be filled with his glory or his bread; there's one problem, Minister Pat; he don't have the power to do that; clip that one; hang tight; watch this; what he's going to do is just give the increase of what Yeshua planted and the Holy Ghost watered; yes sir; now, come on now; come on now; come on.
If Yahweh wants to fill the whole earth with a good loaf of bread, he cannot do it by his power alone; he needs starter bread; hallelujah; and to get the starter bread he had to have the sheath to start the starter bread; come on now; oh hallelujah; and as soon as them two loaves of bread looks just like the first part of the starter bread, now we're ready to wave them before Yesua, ascend them before the Father, like he did, and say it's time now; break us off and fill the earth with your glory; oh hallelujah.
Let me see my Zoom audience; let me see if they dead out there; hallelujah; let me close it now; that means sit back down; hallelujah; I want to see if Zoom is getting this; hallelujah; see what they look like; there they are; they getting it back under; I see them; I just saw them; they getting it; hallelujah; praise the Lord; look at that; hallelujah; oh, now let me talk to you about that first measure.
30fold; Passover; people at Passover receive the leaven, but they never let the baker knead through the dough; they will be saved but they will not rule and reign; the second measure is Pentecost; yes sir; those people have received the Holy Ghost, the Ruach Kadesh; yes sir; they've had the Torah written in their heart; yes sir; they've kept the Sabbath; they've kept the feast; they've observed the law; they know the names; they've stepped out of the wild yeast of Christianity; become children of Israel; and they're beginning to rise.
You can see the dough expanding; the transformation is visible from the outside now; they start walking different, dressing different, talking different, eating different, keeping different days; why? Cuz something's got on the inside of them; that leaven's working through the first layer of the lump; hallelujah; hallelujah; now that's not a bad place to be, my friend; but here's what will happen: if you don't take and cover that 60fold up it will never become 100; it'll keep going back.
The third measure is Tabernacles; the hundredfold; these are the people, the 144,000, that have been kneaded; they've been pressed down; they've been folded over so that the kingdom can spread through them first; they've been baked until the leaven has penetrated every fiber of the loaf; not just the doctrine, not just the calendar, not just the diet, but the character itself; the character of Christ.
I'm going to tell you, Pastor, how do I know that I'm almost at that hundredfold level? I'm fixing to give you the greatest secret of all; when just like Christ you rejoice in tribulation; that's when you'll know; that's when you'll know; because humans cannot rejoice when the car motor blows up; humans cannot rejoice when there's no money in the bank; humans cannot rejoice when they lose their home; humans cannot rejoice; but there is a people that can rejoice in tribulation because the kingdom is flowing through their body; hallelujah.
You'll be at the hundredfold level when you don't demand that Yahweh be fair to you; you're at a 30fold if you think he's going to be fair to you; listen to what true faith is, Sister Natalie; true faith is not that God's going to be fair to you, but rather that he's going to be fair to everyone involved; because there are some of your enemies, they see things from a different perspective than you do; and you're wanting God to rain down terror on them because you know you didn't do anything wrong.
But the truth is Yahweh is going to work it out to where it's fair for everybody involved; and until you get to that point you're not a hundred; was it fair that Yahweh took these people's precious grandson while other sinners in town don't lose theirs? It was beyond fair; Yahweh took a precious boy that was troubled every day, that desperately wanted to sleep; that was his only prayer every day; I just want to sleep.
Brother Kent could never sleep; he would be in his room screaming during the night because he couldn't sleep; it wasn't fair to mom or dad or sister Karen or us; but I believe it was fair to him; he's asleep; he's asleep; he's resting finally; no more up during the night tormented; brothers and sisters, I watched my family, my wife and my in-laws; I watched them during that trial and I saw that hundredfold; it didn't look fair, but it doesn't matter; the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away; blessed be the name of the Lord.
That's when you're becoming a loaf of bread that's fit to eat; yes sir; yes sir; and that's when, when we all get there, that's when the Father can say time is no more; break off that bread; wave them two loaves, the two witnesses, before me; because I wasn't going to set up my kingdom when you wave this one; I'm going to set it up when you wave them; hallelujah; oh hallelujah.
This is the oil and the wine, the 144,000; this is the priesthood and the kingship; this is First Harvest government that Yahweh has decreed, don't hurt them; why don't we hurt them? Because I hurt them enough in this life; Yahweh says the trouble that's coming on the earth, don't hurt any of them; the oil and the wine; why? They've already; I hurt them; every day of their life I kneaded them with my hands.
I put pressure that other people didn't have; I punched them in the gut; and they wondered why that was fair; but I saw an air pocket; I saw an air pocket that would let that yeast, that bacteria; I saw an air pocket where bad yeast could come; I punched them again; I made sure to spread that starter bread throughout them; I spread it to their mouths, how they talk; I spread it to what they listen to, what they see, what their hands are swift, slow to act.
I spread my kingdom through them because I'm depending on them to spread my kingdom throughout the world; therefore, don't hurt them; they've been through enough; all they wanted to do was serve me; do you know why Yahweh, no matter what I do, won't remove that sign from my land? It's my starter bread; hallelujah; maybe after I pass the test he'll let it go; but so far, how have I responded? What are you doing? Are you rejoicing in that tribulation? Yes sir; amen.
I love what Elder Hamrich says; every day our neighbors tell us we're number one; that's right; amen; we're number one; but it's not quite what they're meaning with that middle finger; but that's how Elder Connelly takes it; yes sir, yes sir; we are number one; amen; amen; you know why? Until I rejoice in tribulation, yes sir, I'm not good bread; amen.
And if he breaks me off the way I am and feeds me to the world he gets the same problem that he had on day seven of the count of Omer; tomorrow; these three measures are not categories that you pick from; they're not just preferences; they're stages of growth of the bread; the kingdom of heaven is like leaven; it's life; leaven is life; the church took that life and hid it and covered it in 30, 60, and 100fold distribution; and when it began to spread through the lump, a little leaven wound up leavening the whole lump; hallelujah; hallelujah.
As I close, Paul said we have this treasure in an earthen vessel; what is this treasure? The leaven; we've been given a little leaven; now you might understand the parable of Luke 19 when the man gave them all the same amount; he gave them all the leaven; see, you can call it dinars, you can call it, but it was the leaven; it was the same leaven.
Do you know why ancient bakers kept their starter dough in clay jars instead of gold or silver? Because clay breathes; clay is porous enough to let the living culture draw air into it; and clay is thick enough to keep out the contaminants; that's right; the reason you put starter dough in clay: enough air can get through but not the contaminants; clay is thick enough to protect it.
Clay is cheap enough that if a soldier kicks it over and breaks it you've not lost a fortune; you just lost a jar, but you've still got what matters inside of it; whenever you lay down your eyes in death and we bring you right here, all we did was lose a little cheap jar; what's really important is still there; hallelujah.
Let's all stand; hallelujah; hallelujah; hallelujah; blessed be the name of Yahweh; cover it up, children; cover up your bread; those of you that have come to First Harvest Ministries, part of the apostolic assembly, you have been given a little leaven; I've been given it from the Father; it's a precious, precious thing; he's put it in your earthen vessels; it's not about the vessel, but there is something that's growing in you, Minister Betts, that's priceless.
That old clay jar; no, we don't; that clay jar is worthless unless it's holding something priceless; and every one of you under the sound of my voice, you're holding precious truth; you're holding precious promises; you're holding a faith leaven that's growing inside of every one of you; and now you have a job; here's your job: keep the lid tight.
Don't allow anybody to just peek inside; carry it with you and say I will protect my leaven more than our friendship; I love you, but what I'm carrying, I won't even let our friendship; and I'll go a step further, I won't even let our family relationship, right, destroy what I'm carrying; it's not for sale; it's growing; it's growing in me; it's transforming me; I'm turning into a loaf that's not bitter anymore; I'm not bitter anymore; I'm not mad anymore; I'm not sad anymore.
There's something growing in me that I must cover up unless it goes sour; when you come to the Sabbath meeting; do you know, I'm going to tell you, Pastor, I didn't get to the good part of my sermon today; I'll try next week; I want to just give you one covering for this bread: starter bread will survive up to one week; wow; wow; amen.
But on that seventh day, the chemicals begin, and you start going back to the sour; unless on that seventh day somebody throws a Sabbath covering over that bread and protects you from this world and protects you from what's falling all around you; the Sabbath is your covering; he said the Sabbath is a seal between us; it's a seal; the Sabbath is a seal; it's a sign; it's a seal for the jar.
On that seventh day the chemicals, the gases begin to; if you don't get a cover at that moment; how many's ever walked in those doors and said, if I don't get a cover today, something's, I don't like what's happening to me, I don't like the, I cover me; yes Lord; that's why he said every seventh day, before the bread goes bad, cover it; God bless you; you're dismissed; hallelujah; hallelujah; hallelujah; thank you so much for coming today; we love you; we wish you shalom; amen.
Daddy, come pray over the food; hallelujah; oh, the children; I'm sorry; come on children; y'all come tell us what you learned today; as we count the Omer, children, remember, keep this sermon in your mind; don't just count days, count quality; take Sister Donna's brideship quality; don't count days, count quality; make sure that bread is growing; amen; hallelujah; hey, let's give our bishop a hand; amen.
