THE MYSTERY OF THE MYSTERY A 2-Hour Sermon by Pastor Shane Vaughn TEXT: Matthew 13:10-11 "Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given." HOUR ONE: THE UNVEILING OF DIVINE CONCEALMENT [Opening Exhortation - 5 Minutes] If you've been with this ministry for any length of time, you'll remember where we began—ten years ago, we stood in awe at what we believed to be the unveiling of THE MYSTERY: the Sabbath, the Holy Days, the Israel identity, the message of the Kingdom. We were sure we had seen the plan of the ages! But ten years later, something miraculous has happened. Every single sermon feels like another key, another turn in the lock, another curtain pulled back. Why is that? Because Yahweh has chosen to unveil His plan piece by piece. Isaiah said it best: "Precept must be upon precept, line upon line, here a little, there a little." So today, I bring you this word: "The Mystery of the Mystery." Why is Yahweh unveiling truth in this divine order? Why the breadcrumbs? Why the puzzle pieces? Because the mystery of Yahweh is not for the curious—it is for the consecrated. [Part 1 – The Bible Is a Book of Mysteries The Bible does not hide this truth. It proclaims it! Matthew 13:14 — "Hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand." Yahshua spoke in parables not because He couldn't explain plainly, but because He wouldn't. Why? Because truth is precious, and what is precious is hidden—not handed. 1 Corinthians 2:14 — "The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him." The mysteries are encrypted from the heart that refuses to bow. This Word is veiled with purpose. It is a spiritual vault, and only those with the key of reverence, obedience, and fear will open it. [Part 2 – The Divine Secret Society Throughout history, humanity has formed secret societies—guilds, lodges, orders—each with passwords, initiations, and levels. The purpose? To protect secrets from those who would trample on them. Yahweh has His own society. A divine lodge. A kingdom fraternity. Not for the powerful, but for the pure. Not for the elite, but for the elect. Amos 3:2 — "You only have I known of all the families of the earth." Israel was the junior lodge—the shadow order. They held types and rituals, but not the fullness. But with the coming of Messiah, the divine society matured into the true Ecclesia. Not cathedrals, not denominations—but the called out, the initiated, the overcoming remnant. Psalm 25:14 — "The secret of Yahweh is with them that fear Him." That is the entrance requirement: not intelligence, not degrees, but trembling. Hidden From the World, Revealed to the Saints Colossians 1:26 — "Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints." Mark 4:11 — "Unto YOU it is given to know the mystery... unto THEM that are without, it is parables." Why? Because Yahweh chooses. He selects. He hides truth from the proud and reveals it to babes. Not childish people, but childlike people. Matthew 11:25 — "Thou hast hidden these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes." The secret is not found through study, but through surrender. Isaiah 66:2 — "To this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at My word." THE FINAL UNVEILING – THE TWO RESURRECTIONS [Part 4 – The Mystery Is the Path to Exaltation 1 Corinthians 15:51 — "Behold, I show you a mystery... we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed." Why is the mystery important? Because it prepares you for rulership. Revelation 10:7 — "The mystery is finished at the sounding of the 7th trumpet." Ephesians 3:6 — "That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs... and partakers of the promise." This isn’t just about getting saved. This is about being part of the administrative order of the Kingdom. The ruling class. The bride. The priesthood. Not All Believers Will Rule Revelation 20:5-6 — "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection... they shall be priests of God and reign with Christ." There are TWO resurrections. The first resurrection is a prize. A reward. Not every believer qualifies. Acts 24:15 — There’s a resurrection of the just and unjust. Some will be resurrected as citizens. Others will be resurrected as rulers. Philippians 3:10-14 — "That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death; if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection [Greek: exanastasis] from the dead." John 11:24 - Matt 22:23 - (show the GREEK defs) This word exanastasis means more than resurrection (anastasis). It means out-from-the-resurrection—a selective rising. Paul did not strive for basic resurrection. He strove for something higher. Philippians 3:11 “If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.” Greek: εἰς τὴν ἐξανάστασιν τὴν ἐκ νεκρῶν Literal: “the out-resurrection from among the dead” ●  This is the only occurrence of the noun “ἐξανάστασις (exanastasis)” in the entire New Testament. ● It is uniquely Paul’s expression for a resurrection out from the rest—a special, selective rising. This is not the general resurrection. This is the first resurrection. It is the rewarded resurrection. The prize of the high calling. Paul speaks of the upward call (Greek: ano klesis)—a call to a higher resurrection, a ruler’s resurrection, the bride’s reward. Only overcomers will rise in the exanastasis. This is not about escaping hell. This is about entering glory. Not just living forever, but reigning forever. 1 Corinthians 15:23 — "Each in his own order [tagma]... Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming." There is an order to the resurrection. Not all rise at once. And not all rise for the same purpose. Some for glory, some for judgment."Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection... they shall be priests of God and reign with Christ." There are TWO resurrections. The first resurrection is a prize. A reward. Not every believer qualifies. Acts 24:15 — There’s a resurrection of the just and unjust. Some will be resurrected as citizens. Others will be resurrected as rulers. 2 Timothy 2:12 — "If we endure, we shall also reign with Him." Hebrews 10:36 — "You have need of endurance... to receive the promise." The Wilderness Pattern of Endurance Israel was justified by the lamb at Passover. Yet they died without the promise. Why? But what causes endurance? What fuels it? What sustains it through the fire? James 1:3 — "The testing of your faith produces endurance." Endurance is not a personality trait. It is the byproduct of divine testing. Yahweh does not merely hand endurance to His people; He forges it within them. Romans 5:3–4 — "We glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope." It is pressure, trials, and obedience that birth enduring sons. Hebrews 12:7 — "If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons." Suffering is the classroom. Obedience is the curriculum. The Spirit is the Teacher. And righteousness is the result. No one is born with endurance—it is imparted, tested, and sealed. Because they didn’t endure. Only Joshua and Caleb crossed over. Only the overcomers will rule. James 1:3 — "The testing of your faith produces endurance." Obedience is not optional. It is the training ground of rulers. Paul’s Final Words and the Call to Endure Paul’s words are not academic—they are personal. They are the cry of a man pressing with everything within him to lay hold on something more. Not salvation. Not entry. But glory. He had already been saved. He was already in the Kingdom. But he longed to rule. To reign. To be in that tagma—that appointed order of the firstfruits. And so must we. We must run. We must press. We must endure. The first resurrection is not automatic. It is not assigned by default. It is attained by endurance. It is secured through obedience. It is preserved for the overcomer. This is why Hebrews warns us—do not follow the example of Israel in the wilderness. They were redeemed, but they did not inherit. So then, let us labor to enter into that rest. Let us strive for the prize. Let us make ourselves ready. Because the trumpet is about to sound. And the mystery is almost finished. [Final Exhortation – 10 Minutes] And to those who would challenge us with Paul’s words in 1 Corinthians 2:2— "For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified." We respond: Yes, Paul began with the crucified Christ—but he did not stop there. That was the foundation, not the finish line. The crucifixion is the gate. The mystery is the garden. That same Paul also declared in Philippians 3:10— "That I may know Him... and the power of His resurrection... if by any means I might attain unto the out-resurrection from the dead." Paul wasn’t reducing the gospel to one moment in history. He was revealing its full trajectory—from crucifixion to glorification. The cross is the altar—but the throne is the goal. The mystery of the mystery is not just that He died. It’s that we are being raised to reign with Him. Beloved... this is not about being saved. This is about being glorified. This is not about getting to the Kingdom. This is about being part of the government. This is not about being IN the house. It’s about being seated AT the table. The mystery is almost finished. The veil is being lifted. And a people are being prepared. Revelation 19:7 — "The bride hath made herself ready." The question is not: Do you believe? The question is: Will you endure? Will you endure until the out-resurrection? Will you press toward the prize? Because the mystery of the mystery... is not just truth—it is transformation. And the exanastasis is for the transformed. The mystery is YOU.

Summary

This sermon explains why Yahweh reveals truth progressively through hidden mysteries, parables, and spiritual unveiling. It connects the mysteries of the Kingdom to the first resurrection, the out-resurrection, endurance, and preparation for Kingdom rulership. The message emphasizes that the mystery is not merely information to be understood, but transformation that prepares the remnant bride to reign with Yahshua.
