Acuriousthinghappenedtothisgroupofbelievers.Thiswasagroupof peoplewhowantedthebenefitsofChrist’skingdomwithoutthelawofHis kingdom.Sadly,thisisthetestimonyofavastnumberofYahweh’sChurch today.Theydesiremanna,theydesiremiracles,theydesirethepowerthat comesfromtheaccesstoHisSpirit;yettheydonotmeettherequirement ofOBEDIENCE.ThesesonsofScevaapproachedademoninthebookof Acts,andtheytriedtocasthimoutintheNameofJesus,ormoreperfectly, theNameofYahshua,whichwasHisoriginalHebrewname.That’swhat 2 HismamacalledHim,that’swhattheangelscalledHim,andthat’swhat weliketocallHim. TheytriedtocastthedemonoutinthatName.Asamatteroffact,they usedthesamewordsandincantationsthattheapostlesused,buttheir prayersdidnotwork.Whynot?Becauseunliketheapostles,theyhadno genuineauthoritygrantedtothemthroughobedience.Powerwithout authorityiswitchcraft,andYahweh’sChurchisfullofprayingwitches wantingthepowerofprophecy,wantingthepowerspeakinginglossolalia orunknowntongues,wantingthepowerofcastingoutdevils.It’sa man-pleasing,fleshlydesire.Theywantpowertohealthesick,POWERto displaytheirgreatness. Butbrothersandsisters,thereisillegitimatepower,andthereislegitimate power.OnlywhenpowerisattachedtoAUTHORITYwillityieldgreatand positiveresultsfortheChristianbeliever.ThistypeofauthoritythatI’m teachingyouabouttonightonlycomesoneway:throughyourdeathand Hislife.It’sonlywhenyouchoosetodiewhileyou’reliving,thatyouwill livewhileyou’redying.ThisissomethingI’vehadtolearn,andyou’llhave tolearninthiswalkwithYahweh. Thepolicemanwhohasthepowertostopavehicle,hasnopoweratall overthatvehiclewithouttrueauthority.However,asthepoliceman spendshistimeattheacademy,andasheworksunderallhisleadersin obediencetothem,heisthengrantedauthoritybythegovernment,ashe abidesbythelawofthegovernment,andasheadvancesintothat government.Then,allthepowerofgovernmentisathisdisposal. Yousee,youaccessthepowerofYahwehwhenyousubmittothewillof Yahweh.Whenthepolicemanliftshishandstotheoncomingvehicle,with thattrueauthority,comeshispower.Brothersandsisters,youcannot sneakintoYahweh’skingdomandexpecttowalkinthepowerofheaven. Trueauthorityoverdemonsonlycomeswhenyouhaveovercomedemons inyourOWNlife.Theonlywayyouwillrulethegalaxiesisonceyou’ve ruledyourself.TheonlywayyouwillcontrolandreignwithYahweh,isif youhavecontrolledyourselfinthislifetime.Thenandonlythen,willyour upliftedhandandyourspokenwordbeathreattodemonpower. Ifyoudonothavethistrueauthority,youarelikeanillegalalienina foreigncountry.Ifyouareillegal,thenyougetnoneofthebenefitsofthe kingdom.Ifyouareillegal,youareinfactbreakingthelawsofthe government,andtherefore,youcannotexpectanyofthebenefitsofthe government.ForthosewhowishtosneakintoYahweh’skingdomillegally withoutthecoveringofgracethatcomesthroughobediencetoHis commands,theninfact,youhavenotrueauthoritywhatsoever.Authority isearnedasobedienceispracticed. 4 Authoritytypicallycomesinincrementaladvances.Mostworkersdonot startoutwithanyrealauthority.Theydonothavetheauthoritytospeakto theirco-workersandexpectaresponse.Entrylevelpositionscarryno authority.WhenyoufirstcometothealtarandgiveyourlifetoHim,when youfirstrepentandarebaptized,youarenotwalkingyetintrueauthority andtruepower.Therefore,yourcharactermustbeTESTED,andyourold naturemustsubmittothenatureofYahwehinordertoearnthetrue authorityofthekingdom.Haveyoueverseensomeoftheeldersin Yahweh’sChurchandhowtheywalkinsuchfaithandsuchauthority? They’resubmitted.Theirprayerlifeissubmitted.Theyareinsubmission. That’swhereauthoritycomesfrom. YahshuatellsaparableaboutaweddingsupperinMatthewtwenty-two. ThissupperrepresentsYahshua’ssoontocomeweddingwithHisbride,but therewasapersonwhotriedtoenterthatweddingwithoutawedding garment.ThispersonevidentlybelievedthatYahweh’swaywasnotthe ONLYway.Thispersonfelttheycouldenterthekingdomwithout obediencetoYahweh.Afterall,whywouldasillygarmentbeimportantto Yahweh?WhydoesitmatterifIhaveonacertaingarment?Because Yahwehsaidso.Itreallyisthatsimple.Ifyouwanttoruleinthiskingdom thatiscoming,youmustcomeinatthedoor.YoumustcomeintoYahweh’s providedway.Youcan’tdoityourwayanylonger.Itistimeforyouto totallysurrendertoHiswill.
