He was talking to the church of Laodicea right there. People talk about old-time religion while living in a modern way. They like to reminisce about the saints of old, how it was back in the day. They got all of them stories gathered up in their mind. Don't they know the Lord's still looking for gold of just that kind? And he said, This is my favorite verse. And the word for this song, this verse, is quit whining. We complain a whole lot. I'm talking about me. Stop whining. Stop whining. Start moving. You tell me all about your troubles. Things you've been going through.
You say you just can't make it. Could I say a little prayer for you? You ain't seen nothing like it. And you've almost lost your mind. Don't you know it's gonna get harder if you're ever gonna be refined? And he said, Mommy, go. Try to identify it. Found it down. Turn the flames a little bit higher. Don't give it down. Don't give it down. Don't give it down. Don't give it down. Don't give it down. Don't give it down. Don't give it down. Don't give it down. Don't give it down. Don't give it down. Don't give it down. Don't give it down. Don't give it down. Don't give it down. Don't give it down.
Don't give it down. Don't give it down. Don't give it down. Don't give it down. Don't give it down. Don't give it down. Don't give it down. Don't give it down. Don't give it down. Don't give it down. I have to tell you. I know we're going to shout in a minute. But I have to tell you, and some of you know it. The man that was struck with the positive could not help himself. So his friends got together. You know the story. They took him down to the little house. And no doubt, they looked at that crowd. And one of them probably said, well, there's no getting in here.
Might as well turn around and go back home. I imagine that another said, hold on a minute. Let's look at this from a different angle. And I imagine, now surely one of them said, let's go up there on that roof and see if we can tear a hole. And we can tear a hole. And we can tear a hole. We can tear a hole. We can tear a hole. We can tear a hole. We can tear a hole. We can tear a hole. We can tear a hole. We can tear a hole. We can tear a hole. We can tear a hole. We can tear a hole. We can tear a hole. a hole. We can tear a hole. And it was that weekend.
I rode that little red Mustang over a hill and totalled it. I had just got my ears pierced. I'm just telling you. I was raised in a wholeness home. And the jewelry and the piercing and the hair and the ACDC, that was all my rebellion baby. Come on. And I did other things. But I had my ears pierced the second time that day. And the only thing that hurt me was when I smashed that window out with my head. That second earring buried in my earloin. And I had to go get it removed. And I had to go get it. I had to go get it. I had to go get it. I had to go get it. I had to go get it.
I had to go get it. I had to go get it. I had to go get it. I had to go get it. I had to go get it. I had to go get it. I had to go get it. I had to go get it. I had to go get it. I had to go get it. I had to go get it. I had to go get it. I had to go get it. I had to go get it. I had to go get it. I had to go get it. I had to go get it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I dare you to cut loose. I dare you to cut loose. I dare you to cut loose. I dare you to cut loose. I don't stop. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it. I got it.
I didn't even know y'all. My wife said today the Villa reels didn't come. And I said, can you believe it? Well, everybody look at Sister Janet back there. Amen. See, I talked good about you. I didn't even know you was here. Amen. Me and her and Shelby and Brother Patrick and Sister Vaughn and a few, maybe one or two more. We go to the church every year. We go to the church. We go to the church. We go to the church. We go to the church. We go to the church. We go to the church. We go to the church. We go to the church. We go to the church. We go to the church. We go to the church.
We go to the church. We go to the church. We go to the church. We go to the church. We go to the church. We go to the church. this to you. They were so exhausted the first night that my heart broke for them. But now they won't let me and my wife do anything. And some people might walk in and say, well, why ain't he doing it? But see, you wasn't there when we did it all. Amen. Don't ever judge people by the chapter you walk in on. Don't judge them by the chapter you got invited into. Because unless you've read the whole book, you don't know the story. But these ladies do. And I preach. Come on.
Oh, you was out. Okay. And so anyway, Sister Pat, she's been, of course, everyone's worked. She's the one that really has pushed and prodded and made sure it all got done. And so I want you right now, because what you don't see in two days, Sunday, it's time to unpack it all or pack it all and load it up hard work. By the way, if any of you's here Sunday, they would appreciate your help. I promise you. And so you don't see that labor. And so you don't see that labor. And so you don't see that labor. And so you don't see that labor.
It's not her, not her, not her, what I told you to bring me tonight. Thank you. Thank you. We're on two different pages. Hallelujah. Amen. I'm looking for, I don't see her. Where is Callie? Callie? All right. I saved the best for last. Come on up here. Callie. You may be seated. Callie and her family came, or it was just you, just you who came. Okay. Callie is, she's something else. I was a little worried when they told me she's moving. Like, uh-oh. Anyway, long story short. Amen.
When Sister Callie came, she jumped right in to help us at the church with everything she had, her and her husband. Brother Shane, where you at? Just stand up. There he is back there. Wonderful man. Amen. Fantastic. Thank you. Hallelujah. Bring it up a little bit. A little bit more. I'm not, a little bit more. A little bit more. Okay, that's good. So this year, I needed a camp director, someone that could get the job done. And so I asked Sister Callie if she would do it. And I just want you to know that she has worked tirelessly to make sure that this event has gone off without a hitch.
And we don't have enough money. And we don't have enough money to pay her. And we don't have enough money to pay her. And we don't have enough money to pay her. What you would pay a coordinator for an event this size. But I want you to know that from the back of my heart, I issue you the largest amount of love that I can and appreciation. Thank you for all you've done. Amen. I saw you out there eyeballing. This piece of this piece of this piece of artwork that Sister Rebecca made. And I could tell you wanted it. And I could tell you wanted it. But neither one of us could afford it.
So I asked the Lord to make a way. And it is my joy to present to you this beautiful, since you're Latino, I know you love color. And Sister Callie and Sister Callie. And Sister Callie, God bless you. And Sister Callie, God bless you. Amen. Oh, and Sister Callie, the vases you've been eyeballing. She said you can take those home with you too. All right. Give them a God bless you. Thank you so much. Thank you so much. Now, last but not least, at that back table. At that back table are three or four wonderful men. Brother Ryan Denny, Brother Chuck Durfee and all of their helpers.
They have worked tirelessly. Brother John Call, would you all give them a God bless you and tell them thank you. Brother, who else? Brother Michael Sewell. Thank them. Thank them. Thank them. Thank them. Amen. Thank you, brothers, for your work, your labor of love. Thank them. Amen. Thank you, brothers, for your work, your labor of love. I know the people watching live are so thankful that we were able to pull this off this year. And so that's people, just hardworking people. They're all from the local church in Waveland. If it did I, okay, okay. Who'd I miss? Who? Oh, I know. I got no.
Y'all leave me alone. I'm messing with you. I'm messing with you. I'm messing with you. I'm messing with you. I'm messing with you. Amen. I'd like to thank also my personal administrator, Sister Janice Temple. Would you stand? And then my secretary, Sister Denisa. Sister Denisa. God bless both of these ladies. Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. Here's a secret. Who else? Where am I looking? Oh, yeah. Oh, no, no. I hadn't got there yet. No, no, no, no, no, no. I hadn't got there yet. Boy, everybody acts like I need a personal assistant or something. Amen.
My wife will tell you, before I left the house, I said, there's one lady. Don't ever, I can't forget her because what she did this week was invaluable. And the hardest part of any event is finding anyone that wants to take care of the children. That's always the hardest part. That's always the hardest part. That's always the hardest part. That's always the hardest part. And there was a lady that we asked her to do it. And she, without a question, said, I would do it. And I would like for Sister Holly Durfee to stand. Come up here, Sister Holly. Come on up here. Come on. Come on.
Do you love our children? And anybody that helped you? Come on. Anybody that helped you? Come on. Y'all keep clapping until they get down here. They're getting old. Come on. Come on, sister Holly. Come on, sister Holly. Come on, sister Holly. Come on, sister Holly. Come on, sister Holly. Come on, sister Holly. Come on, sister Holly. Give her a God bless you. They took your children hiking. They took and played games with them. They built sukkahs with them. And that's always the job that for some reason nobody wants. And I don't know why. That's our children. And so I don't know why.
That's our children. I don't know why. That's our children. And Elder Homrich. And Elder Homrich. So very sorry. Amen. Give all these men a God bless you. Thank you, brothers, for your work, your labor of love. I appreciate y'all so very much. Oh, they worked so hard. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. We love these men. And we want to appreciate, say that we appreciate our pastor and his wife. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. And how many. And how many. And how many. And how many. And how many appreciate our bishop and his wife.
Amen. And how many appreciate our bishop and his wife. Amen. They give their life for this work. Amen. And they didn't produce a bad daughter either. Hallelujah. Amen. Thank you, mom and daddy for always being there to support us. And I'd like to recognize two very special people in our life. And I'd like to recognize two very special people in our life. And I'd like to recognize two very special people in our life. And I'd like to recognize two very special people in our life. And that is my children and my grandbaby. And I'd like for the Vaughan family to stand.
All of you in turn and everyone show them your love. Do you mind? Amen. Both of my sons, my grandson, my daughters-in-law. Hallelujah. Little Toto. Little Toto. Little Toto. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. you now. Oh, we do. We do need money, don't we. We'll get there. We'll get there.
Sister Linda, God just spoke to me. He's going to give you a new vehicle. Hallelujah. Hey! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! God, I'm going to give you a new life. $30 and tell you, you know, don't get proud. I'm like, I'm not on $30. I'm like, I'm not on $30. I've had them steal my offerings. That's God's servant. We're going to bless her tonight if I have to take it out of my own pocket. Amen. Amen. You send me a picture when you get that vehicle. I want to see it. Ain't no need her riding up in these roads with transmissions bad. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen.
Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. We're going to take care of you, darling. God is so good. All right. I'm going to do something that this person's not going to like. I can tell y'all he may never come back again after this year. But I'm going to, it's my party and I dance if I want to. So I'm going to do it. When we bought the land at Remnant Ranch, Brother Morgan, who works that land, him and so many others, I do it daily. My son Andrew lives there. My son Andrew lives there. They work that ranch. My son Andrew lives there. They work that ranch.
And Elder Morgan kept telling me he would send me marketplace ads all the time in my inbox, little hints of pictures of machinery. He'd say, Pastor, this one's only $39,000. We need this to dig the trenches and to do this. I said, Pastor, we need this stuff. And I said, Pastor, we need this stuff. And I said, Pastor, we need this stuff. And I'm like, Pastor, we need this stuff. And I'm like, yes, we do. Hallelujah. One time I came close to writing a check for one and the Holy Ghost stopped me. I told Brother Morgan, let's get it. And then I said, no, let's hold off. And we prayed about it.
It wasn't long after that. It wasn't long after that until a very special family. It wasn't long after that until a very special family contacted us. It wasn't long after that until a very special family contacted us. And they said, both of the machines, hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of machines that you need is on the way to your property. The LaQuire family, would y'all tell them how much we appreciate them tonight. Thank you so very much. Would y'all stand? Tell them thank you for their labor of love. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. All we had to pay was shipping. That was $8,000.
I've only paid them $6,000. I've only paid them $6,000 so far. Hopefully I'm going to give them the other two real soon. Amen. Good, good people. And something else you might want to thank them for. Sister Maureen that has seven children, one on her hip. Spent all day cooking spaghetti for 150 people in an RV. So would you thank them for dinner tonight? Amen. Praise the Lord, everybody. Praise the Lord, everybody. Oh, God is so good. Oh, God is so good. It's my desire. Come on. Hallelujah. We're going to receive an offering. Can y'all play me?
Can y'all play me some music that'll make people give money? Okay. Hallelujah. God bless you. If you don't have a dime to give, we don't care. If you've got, if you've got, help us finish paying for this event. I want to bless Sister Linda tonight. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Y'all. Y'all. Y'all. Y'all up. Y'all up. Y'all up.
