The People of the Presence Part 5 By Pastor Shane Vaughn, First Harvest Ministries I want to preach tonight from the book of Isaiah, chapter thirty-five, verse eight. Isaiah 35:8 A highway will be there, and a way, and it will be called The Way of Holiness. A HIGH WAY; not just any way; a highway. Any idea what I’m preaching on tonight? The Way of Holiness. Do you know what holiness means? It’s not that complicated. The exact meaning of the word is simply, separated. We just don’t look like them, talk like them, act like them, celebrate like them. We don’t do anything like them. We are a separated people, and there is a WAY called The Highway of Holiness. Let’s finish reading about it. The unclean will not pass over it, but it will be for those who walk in that way; yes, the fools will not err in it. If you’re unclean, you can’t walk on it. But if you used to be a fool, but now you're a wise man, you’re not going to err on that highway. What does that mean? The old timers used to sing: There’ll be no detours in heaven. There can’t be any detours on this highway. Amen. Verse ten. 10 And the ransomed of Yahweh will return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads. They will obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. Do you know how the ransomed of Yahweh are going to return? On The Highway of Holiness. He said there will be a way. It’s a hard way; it’s a narrow way. It is a High way, but there is going to be somebody that finds that highway, and they will not err, and they will be returning to Mt. Zion! HalleluYah! Now I am going to read one more verse in the book of Jude, verse nine. You are going to wonder what this verse has to do with Isaiah that we just read. 1 Jude 9 Yet Micahyah, the malak gadol, when she contended with the devil in a dispute over the body of Mosheh, did not dare to bring a reviling accusation against her, but said: May Yahweh rebuke you! Michael, the archangel, disputed about the body of Moses, so they were having an argument. Satan and Michael were having an argument but Michael would not bring an accusation against Lucifer, but said: Yahweh rebuke you. I want you to notice the next verse. 10 But these speak evil of those things which they do not understand; but what they know naturally; instinctively, like brute beasts, In those things they corrupt themselves. Now who? People who don’t understand authority and honor. 11 Woe to them! For they have gone the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for reward, and have perished in the rebellion of Korah! 12 These are spots in your Feasts of Love; Feasts of Yahweh, when they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves; they are clouds without water, driven about by winds; autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; Those people who bring accusations against the man of God or the things of God with no remorse, the Bible said that even Michael doesn’t touch the anointing of God, because Lucifer was the anointed of God. The Bible said that there are a group of people that are brute animals and they don’t understand the way of Cain and the way of Korah. These are spots in your Feasts. They feed themselves under the preaching of the man of God without understanding or fear of anything that they’ve done. They are clouds without water. What is a cloud without water? It looks like a cloud, it sits within the other clouds, but there is nothing in it! It’s empty! Clouds without water carried about with the winds. Listen to me. When Yahweh started blessing me is when I quit running from place to place. Find your footing or you will be running the rest of your life. Find a place that will hold you accountable and look you in the eyes and say: You need to stop that. Find a place where you 2 can submit yourself to the hand of Yahweh through His Church, and you won’t be a cloud without water. HalleluYah! I’m telling you, clouds without water look like clouds and they act like clouds but inside it’s all fake! Yahweh said: I don’t want them at your Feasts. In verse twelve He said: These are spots in your Feast. Before Feast-time comes, I am going to send a wind to blow the clouds that don’t have any water, right out the door. Listen to what He says about these clouds: Trees whose fruit wither. These kinds of people are on fire for God today, and no fire tomorrow. They cannot last from service to service without getting so discouraged and depressed. They are clouds without water. You don’t have what it takes to depress me. HalleluYah! Why? I know the Plan. 13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. In other words, you’ll be lost forever. I want to talk to you tonight about that first verse again, verse nine. Jude 9 Yet Micahyah, the malak gadol, when she contended with the devil in a dispute over the body of Mosheh, did not dare to bring a reviling accusation against her, but said: May Yahweh rebuke you! Father, I thank You for this word tonight. I ask You to speak to our hearts to what we would hear from the throne of God. Anoint the lips of the unprofitable servant O Lord, that I might speak words that are more than words, but they carry the seed of life in them. HalleluYah. Thank you, Father. I want to carry on from last night, the Feast of Atonement. I saw a Scripture today that I have never connected with the Feast of Atonement until today. It’s that one we just read in verse nine about Michael the Archangel and Lucifer arguing over Moses’ body. To this day nobody knows where Moses is buried, but I want to ask you and I will answer the question tonight: What happened to the body of Moses? That may not seem important to you, but when I get to the finish line, you 3 will see how this verse of Scripture is connected to Yom Kippur, and you are going to find out how very important it is. The first thing we need to talk about tonight is why was God, Yahweh, so interested in the body of Moses? I want you to think about that. He was so interested that He sent pall bearers from heaven to bury Moses themselves. Why? That is a question I want you to let permeate in your mind tonight. What was it about Moses that Yahweh showed up for his funeral? What was it about this man that was so special to God? If you can learn that secret tonight, then you will learn what God wants to teach you through the Feast of Atonement. Now to find the answer, we need to go to the book of Psalms chapter 103, verse 7. How many of you would like to be so close to Yahweh that when you die, the devil’s arguing over your body and the angels show up? Amen. I’m going to show you why he was so special to Yahweh; maybe even more special than David. As much as Yah loved David, I believe He loved Moses more. Amen. Psalm 103:7 You made Your ways known to Mosheh, and Your deeds to the children of Israyl. To Moses, He made His ways known. To the Church, they were only concerned with His acts. He made His ways known to Moses, and He made His power known to the people. But Moses wanted more than power. Moses wanted to know how to please God. The book of Isaiah told us there is a way of holiness and Yahweh said He showed Moses His ways: the way of holiness. I want you to understand that there is a reason why the old church that I grew up in was so much closer to God than today’s church. It’s real simple. They didn’t show up to find out the power of God on Sunday. They woke up on Monday morning living the ways of God. They lived the ways of God Monday through Sunday! They didn’t show up to church to get a word. They didn’t show up to get a blessing. They had been a blessing all week long. They had walked in the way of holiness, separated unto God. But the children of Israel just want to see His acts. Do another miracle while we live our own way until you do another miracle. 4 Moses wasn’t like the Church. In every congregation there will always be a Moses. There will always be a Moses when the whole congregation goes astray. There will always be somebody that wants to know the ways of Yahweh; wants to know what pleases Him. Let it be you!! He said He showed His ways to Moses. There are two ways to live your life in this world: your way or Yah’s way. Two ways. The low way or the high way. Ladies and Gentlemen, if you have come to First Harvest Ministries, I can tell you the reason the presence of Yahweh shows up as it does in these meetings. I would dare say that eighty percent of this congregation moved here to live the way of Yah. I believe that tonight! HalleluYah. You’ve got to learn His ways. Tonight is one of His ways. The Seventh Day of the week is the Holy Sabbath. Sunday is not the Sabbath. That is your way. That’s the Pope’s way. That’s Babylon’s way. Yahweh said: The Seventh Day of the week is holy unto Me. We are standing in it right now. This is one part of the way. Prayer is another part of the way. Obedience is another part of the way. All of these things congruently make up The Highway of Holiness. If your life is not a separated life, then you are a cloud without water. Your dance means nothing without something to truly dance about. When I see some dance like they’re just not into it, the truth is: keep on because you know I’ll say something about it, but there is going to come a day when your feet move and you start thinking about the goodness of Yahweh. You just start thinking about the GOODNESS of YAHWEH and it just makes you want to SHOUT! It makes you want to DANCE because He is SO GOOD to you!! Amen. Don’t be a cloud without water. Don’t be an Israelite without the commandments. Don’t be a believer without believing! Let’s read some more about Moses. Don’t go out there and call yourself something, just go be something. Did you know Yahweh called Moses the servant of the Lord? That is the only title I want. I just want to be the SERVANT. The servant of the people and the Lord. Below is what Moses said. Exodus 33:13 Now therefore I pray, if I have found honor in Your sight, show me Your way, that I may know You, and that I may continue to find honor with You. Remember this nation is Your people. 5 KJV Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight... Show me how You want it done. Show me how to cross that t and dot that i. You show me THY WAY. Watch this carefully now. He could not learn the way until he first found grace. We believe in grace around here. Yes sir. Don’t ever accuse us of not believing in grace. But like Moses, we believe that once you find grace you say, Show me Thy way; teach me how to please You. If anybody in here has found grace: good. Now go find The Highway of Holiness, separated from this world in every area of your life! Don’t just tear your Christmas trees down if you are going to leave something else up, Don’t tear your Easter bunny up if you’re looking like the world. Don’t tear this down if you’re not separated from this world. You cannot tear down a tree if you leave up a limb or a log. Tear it all down. Just clean it out. Say: Teach me Thy way. Don’t teach me religion; a Catholic way, a Jewish way, or even a Pentecostal way, or any kind of way. Teach me THY WAY! Now you might know why Yahweh sent angels to this dead man’s funeral. Because this man had equity with Yahweh. He wanted more than grace. He wanted more than grace! When people tell you they are saved by grace, tell them, So am I, but then I learned about holiness. We’ve got to have holiness in our finances, holiness in our marriages, holiness in every area of our lives. It’s got to be holy or we can’t be on that highway that brings us to Zion. There is a way: it’s HOLY. Notice what he said in verse thirteen: Show me Thy way, for one reason—to know Him. Hear me and hear me well. You do not know Yahweh without walking the highway that leads you to Yahweh. It’s The Highway of Holiness. Notice that he said he wanted to know His way. He didn’t say: I want to know Your way so I can go to heaven. He had already found grace. But now he said: I know You knew me in my mother’s womb, but I don’t really know You, Father. I don’t know how You like it done. I don’t know how You want me to look. I don’t know how You want me to talk. I don’t know how You want me to walk. I don’t know how You want me to celebrate. I don’t know how You want me to eat or not eat. I need to know You by knowing Your ways! I want to know You!! 6 Nobody else in Israel wanted to know Him. They wanted to see the cloud, and all of that. Listen to me. Some of you may see a cloud, but some of you can walk in a cloud. Moses got into the cloud. Do you understand? HalleluYah! Glory to Yahweh! He wants you to know Him by studying the Way. You are studying that way in your hand. Study it, know it, because Yahweh knowing you isn’t enough. If you are going to be 100-fold, you’ve got to know Yahweh. I know my wife. I know what she eats, what she doesn’t like. I know what she likes and doesn’t like. I found grace with her when she accepted my marriage proposal. That was grace. But if I don’t want a divorce, I’ve got to learn her ways. I’ve got to know what time in the morning is off limits. She’s got to learn what time at night is off limits. You’ve got to get to know one another; know each others’ ways, because if you can’t tell me the ways of your spouse, you don’t know them. When you got married, you didn’t know them. That’s why He said, “Depart from Me; I never knew you.” It’s not that we weren’t married. It’s not that we didn’t get married. It’s not that we didn’t have grace, but I just didn’t know you. You never took the time to get to know one another. You did it your way. Every time you go to church when you want to go to church, you are not learning His way. Every time you eat what you want to eat, you’re not doing it His way. I’m trying to tell you why God sent pallbearers to a man. Because this man only wanted to know the ways of Yah. 14 Yahweh replied: My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest. Why? Because Moses wanted more than grace. He wanted to know His ways. Here is what Moses said in verse fifteen: 15 Then Mosheh said to Him; If Your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. Do you want to know why Yahweh showed up at his funeral? Because this man didn’t want to be without Yahweh in any area of his life. He wanted to make sure than in anything he said, Yahweh could be comfortable right there with him. We are People of the Presence. That sounds real cute, but what I forgot to tell you is that the People of the Presence are the People of the Way, the people walking 7 up The Highway of Holiness. They automatically carry with them the Presence of Yahweh, and when they pray for you, you better get ready because they are not like the rest of the House of Israel. They are the Remnant! I love all of you but when I need one of those quick prayers to get answered, I know where I’m going—Bishop Kendrick and General Mother. Why? They’ve been walking in the Way a long time. Listen to me. Showing up to church once a week is not walking in the Way. You’ve got to walk in holiness, separated from the world. Yahweh is calling every one of you to be like Moses and say: Now teach me Thy ways. Yahweh allowed Moses a gift of looking into the mind of God. Moses wanted to look into the heart of God. He wanted that more than he did the ability to cast out devils or the ability to heal the sick. He wanted to know what made Yahweh tick. He wanted to know what brought a smile to his Father’s face, what put a joy in His heart. HalleluYah. That’s what he wanted to know. He saw what other humans could not see. Yahweh revealed Himself to Moses by revealing His ways. Another word for ways is commandments. Amen. Yahweh always chooses people who have a similar life to Moses. Moses was born a Hebrew. This is interesting. He was an Israelite and didn’t know it. His mama, Mama Church, brought him down to the river and had to reject him. Had to reject Moses and let Moses float down to the Baptist Church or the Catholic Church. He floated to Egypt and there he starts growing up as an Egyptian, as a Baptist, a Catholic, a Presbyterian. He grew up thinking that’s what he was. HalleluYah. While he was there, Pharaoh’s daughter raised this boy up to take over the Church when Pharaoh died. This was Pharaoh’s grandson. He was next in line to take over the church of Egypt, take over the throne. This boy grew up with a different seed line in him than what he was growing up in. He was always an eagle living among chickens. Oh yes! He grew up in their house, sang their songs, believed their doctrines, but Yahweh was just waiting for the right time when that Seed on the inside could be identified! HalleluYah! While he is growing up in that church, he was among good people. He loved them. That was Papa Pharaoh. He didn’t have anything against them. They were good to him. They put him in the best seminaries. They put him in the best Bible school in the region. They took care of Moses. They just needed Moses to stay unidentified. 8 I’m going to tell you tonight why Yahweh showed up at his funeral. Because Moses grew up in Babylon until something happened one day. He was outside and he saw an Egyptian picking on an Israelite. He looked on as that Egyptian murdered that Israelite. He beat him up and Moses was watching and something inside of him connected with that Israelite boy more than that Pharaoh Egyptian soldier that was beating that boy. There was something inside of him that said: Wait a minute! I’m connecting with that Israelite. What did he do? He ran over and he took the Egyptian that hurt that Israelite boy and he killed that Egyptian right then; murdered him, and buried him in a shallow grave and covered him up. All of a sudden there is an arrest warrant; another rejection. Yahweh will always kick you out when He’s trying to bring you in. Always. Every door will shut. Everything will shut. Every happiness will shut because Yahweh is sending you out to bring you in. He will do it every time if you have that seed in you. So what does Moses do now that his identity is confirmed? Now he is an enemy of the Church, of Pharaoh, of his step-mama. Now he is a heretic. He is cast out. There is a warrant for murder. In Egypt you don’t have a trial like we do today. In Egypt then if you murdered someone, you got murdered. You get killed. What happens next is that for forty years Moses becomes a shepherd out in the wilderness of rejection, in the sand dunes of trouble and trial. Moses is a forgotten man. Moses is a man with no ministry. He has a message but nobody to hear it. He is struggling just trying to do what he can to stay alive another day. Yahweh has a plan and he’s waiting! Finally, Yahweh spoke to him and said: Go tell Pharaoh to let My people go. Wait a minute! Are you talking about the Pharaoh that’s got an arrest warrant out for me? You want me to go where I was kicked out of; where an arrest warrant is active for murder? Yahweh said: Go to Pharaoh, your Papa! Go! Tell him: Let My People Go!!! Then Yahweh sent him to where there is a warrant for his arrest. The Bible tells us that Yahweh gave him supernatural favor. Listen to me. When you have been rejected by the Church and the World, you have crawled into a cocoon like I did 9 when I spent three years in a dark place, saying: Show me! Show me Thy ways. Teach me Thy laws. Teach me Your commandments that I might not sin against You anymore. MOSES, TELL THEM TO LET MY PEOPLE GO! When he gets there, Yahweh begins to do miracles in his ministry. If you ever want to know where Yahweh has placed His Name, look for the supernatural, for provision that is unnatural. Look and see the blessings on a man. Watch what Yahweh’s doing. When you see it, get in it because that’s where the blessing is!! HalleluYah! 17 And Yahweh said to Mosheh: Truly, the thing you ask I will do, for you are honored in My eyes, and I know you by name. Do you know why He knew Moses by name? Because Moses knew His name. He cared enough to know it. When you meet a Christian who says, “Well it doesn’t matter,” that is someone who doesn’t want to know the way. They just want to see the acts of God. They will go to church to see a good service, but try to teach them the way, the pathway... Well, as long as we love Him. Cop-out. 18 Then Mosheh said; Show me now Your glory. He didn’t ask for a physical healing. He didn’t ask for a miracle. When you get past all of that and you live your life to please Yahweh, all of that will come on the back end. He will do miracles. You will see His acts, but if you find His Face first, His Name, His Presence, His Ways; all that will come by accident. They all happen because you are in the Way. HalleluYah. He said: I just want to see Your glory. I want to come into a church and I just want some music like David played for Saul with it all quiet, let me get on my face with You. I’m not here for a healing in my back. I just want to see Your glory. I just want to feel Your glory, which is Your Presence. I just want to be with You. 10 What is that song—I Just Want To Be With You. I just want to be with You. That’s all. I just want to be with You. 19 And Yahweh said: I will make all My righteousness pass in front of you; and I will proclaim My Name, YAHWEH, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. Mark my words. You’ll never ask Yahweh for His glory and He won’t give it to you. Ever. I promise you if you ever come down here and bow a knee and say, “Father I am here for Your Presence,” it will show up every time. Dotty Rambo wrote a song that went: I don’t ask You Lord for anything. I just came to talk with You Lord. Maybe tomorrow there will be trouble and sorrow, and a thousand tear drops may fall; but until I face tomorrow’s task I have no special favor to ask. I just came to talk with You Lord. When you get to that place, you will find the glory of Yahweh every time. Why do you think we delay the service? We are trying to get you to the point where you give in and go look for the glory. If you will just jump in there, you will find the glory. You’ve got to want it!! How many of you want all His goodness to come around you? If Moses, why not you? Yahweh didn’t love Moses this much because he was more special than any of you. He loved Moses this much because Moses loved Him that much! Do you understand? Don’t ever let anyone tell you that Yahweh loves one more than another. You better read your Bible! The Bible says He draws nigh to those who draw nigh to Him. The Bible said that the prayers of a righteous man availeth more than regular prayer. Yahweh knows those who are His, completely His. He also said if you want the glory and the goodness, He will also reveal His name to you. 20 But He said: You cannot see My face; for no man may see Me, and live. 11 Now I want to prove something to you. People think that I am crazy when I tell them God looks just like you. We think of Him as this blob in outer space; this ethereal spirit floating through the galaxy. No. He told Moses: I am going to pass by you, but I”m not going to show you My face because I don’t want to kill you. But I’m going to show you all the rest of My goodness. When you get on your face before Yahweh, He said He will let all His goodness take over you; everything good about Him will take over you, but He won’t show you His face. 21 Then Yahweh said: There is a place near Me, where you may stand on a rock. Folks, there’s a place by Yahweh that you can stand in, but you only get there on The Highway of Holiness. 22 While My glory passes by, I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by. 23 Then I will take away My hand, and you shall see My back, but My face must not be seen. Now tell me that Yahweh doesn’t look like you. He’s got a face, He’s got a back, and He’s got hands. He looks just like you. You were made in His image. That means you are a duplicate copy of what your Father in heaven looks like. He didn’t evolve. He was never a monkey and neither were you. You were created in His IMAGE That’s a fact, Jack. Glory! Moses could only see behind Yahweh. The angels of heaven are able to look at the face of Yahweh. Yahshua said: The angels do behold My Father’s face in heaven right now. So we know the angels can look. That is why the Bible said that in the Millennial Reign we will see Him face to face. We will have a new body that is able to look at that face in the resurrection. You will see Him as He is. There will be no more veil. HalleluYah! The angels are watching as one man desired God so much that he was able to look at Him. I want to tell you about Moses. He was willing to die to see God’s face. He wanted to know Yahweh. 12 I’ve come to preach to you tonight; those of you that are in this building and watching me live: It is time for the ONLY thing that matters—The Ways of Yahweh. You’ve got to learn them. You’ve got to study them. Last night and today you have studied them. Yom Kippur and the weekly Sabbath are His ways. You have learned these ways, and as you have learned them, you will experience the glory. The glory is the part of Yahweh that you are able to experience. You are not able to see His face, but you are able to experience all the good parts. I love that. In these services you feel that thing—the glory—passing by you, over you. It passed by Moses. It is moving among the congregation. He wants you to experience all that goodness, all of that experience. I want to caution all of you. Many of you are here for knowledge and education, and that's a marvelous thing but there are Messianic congregations all over the world with as much knowledge as you need. You don’t just need knowledge. You need to experience the glory! If you want knowledge, go join Bible college. But in this ministry, not only do we keep Sabbath, but we like feeling the Lord of the Sabbath at the same time. HalleluYah! We want His glory to pass by. We want to be like Moses and experience Yahweh! Experience the glory! If Moses, why not us? The only way He will not pass you by is if He’s changed. If Moses could do it, you can do it if you fall in love with His Highway of Holiness, that brings you back to Mt. Zion. Like Sister Ruth said: Come home, come home, to Zion. But you’ve got to come on The Highway of Holiness. The only way that brings you home is the highway, and none can walk up there but the pure in heart. Yahweh is calling you to walk this highway and experience Him! Knowledge will not keep you. Let me explain why. If knowledge would do it, here is what is going to happen: Let me explain it and show you why there are people not with us today. They got a little knowledge here. Then they found another YouTube channel. They got some more knowledge, and then they think they’ve got more knowledge than Pastor Vaughn has. But what they don’t know is that I knew that knowledge ten years ago. I rejected it. None of you have sent me a YouTube video I haven’t seen. What do you think I do up until three or four in the 13 morning? What do you think I am doing? I am searching for my people to make sure they don’t get trapped in that junk! You think you know more than your parents. What you don’t know is your parents have already forgotten what you just found out. They have been there, done that. Knowledge will mess you up; oh yeah. Somebody sent me a video today about alien remains that were found in Egypt. It looks like a baby alien. They want to know why I don’t preach about that. I’m never going to preach about that. The only alien I know about is Yahweh and His angels. HalleluYah! So my point is that knowledge is dead without the Spirit. You might be able to tell me the exact day when the new moon is coming out. You might be able to tell me the exact moment when the sliver is going to show, but until you can tell me the moment the Holy Ghost baptized you with His Presence, you’re missing it all! Until you tell me the last time you trembled under the power of that Presence, you have missed this message. Nobody had more knowledge than Moses. He wrote the Torah. When Yahweh said: What do you want, Moses said; Show me more of Your glory. I want to feel Your Presence. Pass me by; let me feel that You are near to me! No, don’t just tell me another commandment, but baptize me in Your Presence! Don’t just tell me another holy day. Tell me that I can walk in The Highway of Holiness! I’m going to end this argument right now over all the different calendars. I’m going to end it right now. When you are walking in the Holy Ghost, you will always show up at the right time, at the right place. All you need is the Holy Ghost! HalleluYah! You can be baptized in It every service!! Do you know what I could do? We could come to church and I could do two hymns, and we could do regular church. But there is something I grew up in. It was the Presence of God. I felt it when I walked in the doors of the old Pleasant Hill Church. Ohhhhh! When I walked in, the saints were moaning and groaning, saying: Show us Your ways! They didn’t know as much as all you know. But they knew the Presence. They did not know the true Sabbath, but all they knew was that in that moment all they wanted was to be in His Presence. Listen to me, and listen well. We don’t give up knowledge, but we don’t worship it either. We LONG for the Presence of Yahweh in our assemblies. HalleluYah. 14 That’s why it’s so important for you to look at next year’s calendar with First Harvest Ministries. It’s so important for you to get that calendar at Tabernacles and mark every date and give your employer a letter that you won’t be able to work that day. There is something so important, so special about coming into the presence of the congregation. The wheel in the middle of the wheel shows up when the congregation gathers. Don’t ever miss a congregational meeting ever. Ever! I have some Messianics and I love them although they’re a mess. I love them but at Passover they will go out and have a barbeque with a lamb and make sure they have the right lamb, and not one ounce of the Spirit of Yahweh; but they ate lamb. Listen to me. Unless you ate the Presence, then you’re in dead religion—clouds with no water. This water is the Holy Ghost. If you are in this room tonight and say you don’t know if you’ve got the Holy Ghost, you probably don’t have it. You’ve got to know because your life will radically change. You’ll become obedient, where you used to be rebellious. You will start walking a new walk, making a new way, loving Yahweh more than you’ve ever loved Him before. You will start talking to your enemies; praying for them. This is coming from the man who gave you so much knowledge that it blew your minds. I believe in knowledge. I believe one without the other is handicapped. When you come into this church, He wants to show you His glory. If you are in this room and you say, “Pastor, you grew up in it. I don’t know how to do it,” let me teach you. I will never forget when Sister Ruth Heflin taught me how to dance. I was Pentecostal. I knew how to shout. You all don’t know the difference. When the Presence would pass by, it would take our necks with it. What happens when the old timers do the neck thing, that’s the Presence passing by, and it just takes their head with it. HalleluYah. That was shouting but I didn’t know anything about voluntarily dancing in front of the Lord. I stood in that tabernacle for years under that glory. I miss her today. I walked in the first service. I was skinnier and I was looking good. It’s an outdoor tabernacle like we’re going to have. It had no air conditioner, and somebody brought me there. I thought, “I’m going to camp meeting.” When I grew up, camp meeting wasn’t an auditorium. It was camp meeting. And it was in July. I’m sweating. If it got quiet you could hear the frogs everywhere. It was camp. 15 Sister Ruth looked at me, and they were all dancing. I was always told that was not of the Spirit if you are doing it on your own, so I thought they were a bunch of cuckoos, so I wasn’t going to dance. I would close my eyes, trying to act spiritual like some of you do. You put your tallits over your head so I won’t get you. Ha ha. Sister Ruth walked up there all five hundred pounds that she was. She said, “It seems like we have a brother on the back. I believe he’s a pastor.” Somebody told her who I was. She said, “Why don’t you join in unity with the congregation?” I did not want to get up and wave no flaky flag with them. It wasn’t my kind of church. It wasn’t the way I grew up. I got up there and she could tell I didn’t know what I was doing. She said, “Let’s stop the music and show the brother how to dance.” There I stood. Dr. Seale will tell you; she was there and Mother Heflin said, “Brother Vaughn, just take three steps forward, and three steps back. That’s all you’ve got to do.” I started taking three steps forward and three steps back, and an hour later I was still taking three steps forward, three steps back. I had stepped into the glory. I had broken beyond my flesh. I was obedient. In her church, everything was in unity. Here’s what it meant. If one person got up to run, everybody ran. If one person was in the Spirit, everybody got in the Spirit. In the church I grew up in, you would have one person who would catch the Holy Ghost, and all the rest would be watching them. That’s not unity. In this church, when one does it, we all do it. We flow together. We dance together, we cry together, we worship together, we work together, we fight together against the devil. We do everything together. If we do it together, we will be standing when the world is on fire! UNITY is where it’s at! Some of you are not ready to be part of a community like that because you’re independent. But when you get the Holy Ghost, you become part of the congregation. You lose your own identity, and you become one with the body of Yahshua. That’s why when we go back to eat, I don’t care if you’re eating or not, but go sit with the FAMILY! Love one another. Walk in unity and be part. I learned a lesson that I never knew before, and I learned it over at the land a few days ago. I did not know that if you take a sheep and separate it from the flock, it will die. We just had one die because we separated him from the flock. The minute I start to see people separating, I already know we are just counting time until you die. It won’t be long. It won’t be long because all you’re waiting for 16 is someone to do something to you so you can blame the church. You can’t just leave because nobody has done anything to you yet. That’s when I say that the issue is never the issue. You had already been separated. I’m trying to teach you something. You all be careful about separating. If we’re cooking, shop and cook with us. If we’re loading the trailer, come load the trailer with us. If we are out at the land, come to the land. We’re a family!! We’re a family! We’re a body; not one, two, three, four. Join the church! At Sister Ruth’s campground, every morning at six o’clock they ring a bell. Six o’clock; oh, the devil was in that. Guess what I went and bought for the land? A bell. Brother Morgan is setting it up now so we can ring that bell; the worship bell, the dinner bell. Once we get that thing built, it’s going to take me two years to get what I want and get it ready. But my point is that we woke up at six o’clock every morning for prayer, and everyone walked down to the prayer chapel and we were all praying. At eight o’clock we were all eating breakfast. Ten o’clock is the first service in the July heat. Lunch. Two o’clock is the next service in the July heat. Dinner. Seven o’clock is the next service. And you danced in every one of them. Brother Vaughn, that sounds difficult. You don’t understand. Do you remember that video I sent you of Sister Heflin? Here is what you don’t see—thousands under that tabernacle who came just to experience the glory because they couldn’t get it in their churches. If we will create the glory in this church, they will come from everywhere, because you cannot find what’s in this building anywhere. You can find big churches with great music. You can find bigger, but there’s one thing you cannot find: Come Home, Come Home to Zion! Did you feel the glory just now when I sang that? There’s a glory in this church. If we will work together, we will always have that glory. He wants us to have it. He wanted Moses to have it. I am not going to go much further. I just want to end with this. Moses was so concerned about pleasing God, that when he came down from the mountain, his face was shining like Yahweh’s face. When Yahweh told Moses how to build the Tabernacle—I want you to listen—He said: Build it exactly 17 the way I tell you to build it. I want this color blue, and I want it that shade. Don’t go one shade lighter. He said: I want you to put the rings up right where I tell you. I don’t care if you think it’s a good idea to do it another way. Do it My way and if you do it My way, I’ll send My glory on the Ark of the Covenant for you, if you’ll do it My way. If you’ll show up on the Tenth Day of the Seventh Month instead of the eleventh or twelfth day, My glory will show up. Do it My way. The Bible said Moses built that Tabernacle intricately to the detail of how Yahweh told him to do it. I imagine there were times there would have been a much easier way to do it. Yahweh wanted gold and trees from the cedars of Lebanon. No regular cedar would work. Brother Vaughn, He knows my heart. He sure does. He knows your heart by your actions. When you obey Him, He knows your heart. Moses loved God so much that he would not deviate from that plan. When God said not to eat anything unclean, he said, “Amen,” and he didn’t do it. Why? He wasn’t trying to be saved. He was already saved. He wasn’t trying to get saved. He wanted to know God. He wanted to know His ways. Moses was allowed to touch holy things. He was allowed to touch the things in the Tabernacle that nobody else was allowed to touch. He could go in and touch the Table of Showbread. Anyone else would die. Do you know why? Because he knew the God of the showbread. God trusted him. God knew him, and he knew God. When you get to that place, God will give you holy things in your life. Brother Vaughn, I wish I could preach like so-and-so. I wish I could lay hands on someone and they would hit the floor. You don’t understand! Those are holy things! Only somebody who has been walking The Highway of Holiness is allowed to carry those things. HalleluYah! Now, I’m going to bring you to Moses’ death. He is dying. He is getting ready to die. What does this have to do with Yom Kippur? I’m getting ready to lay it on you. When he’s getting ready to die, who does he call? Yahshua. Moses is getting ready to die and he calls Yahshua. He said, “Jeshua, I’m about to go to sleep with 18 my fathers.” He knew he wasn’t going to heaven. He knew he was going to sleep. He didn’t tell them, “I’m going to be on streets of gold.” He knew he was going to sleep. He told Yahshua, “I want You to make me one promise: that You’ll do everything as it’s written in the Covenant. You won’t change service times. You won’t change what day you come together. You won’t change this for that. You will do it exactly as it’s written. Promise me, Jeshua. I can’t close my eyes until I know the value of the Book and doing it by the Book.” He gave him His promise. Now Moses closes his eyes and dies. Then the strangest thing happened. As he dies, here comes Azazel to claim the body. Here’s why. Azazel knows how to tempt Yahweh’s people into idol worship. He was going to bring the body of Moses down to the camp of Israel so they could build a shrine around Moses, and make Moses a god. He’s there to claim the body of Moses! Yahweh sends the angel of Israel, Michael, and here comes Michael and says, “No! Don’t touch the body!” Azazel says, “I have a right to that body.” Michael says, “You don’t have a right to that body.” Azazel says, “Yes, I do.” If you want to know where I am getting this information from, there is another book, a first century Jewish apocryphal work, called The Testament of Moses. It picks up on this part. Moses is being claimed by Azazel for one reason. Let’s go back to the beginning where Moses is still a murderer. He still has murder on his name, therefore Satan is in charge of this material word. Because of sin, he has a claim on everyone in this room. Brother Vaughn, he doesn’t have a claim on me. Yes, he does. Watch and see if you don’t die like everybody else dies. Do you know why? He’s got a claim on sin. Now there are some folks who have a counterclaim after he files his claim. C’mon now! HalleluYah! But Satan files his claim first. Michael looks at Azazel and says, “I’m not going to rebuke you, but I brought you a message from Yahweh. In case you’ve forgotten, Azazel, that murder was your fault, and it is going back to you, Azazel goat! Now, give me my servant! You have the blame. You have to carry his penalty. Give me my servant!” 19 HalleluYah! HALLELUYAH! He said, “I know he was a murderer, but you were a murderer from the beginning. You are the murderer; not him. You don’t have a claim because you are going to bear this murder. You carry it all, Satan! That’s my servant.” You have to realize that Yahshua hadn’t died yet. There was still no forgiveness for sin. Satan had a claim. Moses was a murderer, but I believe standing on that mountain, Michael said: I’m not going to rebuke you Satan, because you are the anointed of the Lord. I will tell you what I will do. Yahweh will rebuke you. How does He rebuke you? Because He wanted me to let you know that Moses isn’t the murderer. You are, and He’s got a claim on you, so let My people go! HalleluYah! And the angel Michael took his body and buried it himself so they wouldn’t turn him into a god. So they wouldn’t have idol worship. Satan was going to turn him into a god, but Yahweh took that temptation away from them! Listen to me, and listen well. That Azazel goat will always try to tell you what you are, but it is your job to say, “Yahweh rebukes you! You are what you say I am. You are what you said I was! Your time is about up! You said I’m a liar. You taught me how to lie. It’s all coming back to you.” I want you to understand something. When he said, “Yahweh rebuke you,” here is what he said: I don’t have the authority, but I know a man who does. HalleluYah! That’s no different than when you come up to a disease and say, “I can’t heal you, but in the name of the Lord, rise up and walk! He’s got the power.” We can’t heal anybody. These hands can’t heal anybody, but when I come to you in the Name of the Lord, oh yeah! When somebody says, In the Name of Yahshua, that’s the same thing Michael did. He appealed to a higher court and got a different verdict!! HalleluYah! I hope that you will receive His Presence everyday, every single day. When you leave here tonight become People of the Presence every moment, every day. We used to sing a song that said: Be careful little eyes what you see, be careful little eyes what you see. There’s a Father up above, looking down with tender love. Be careful little eyes what you see. Be careful little mouth what you say. Be careful little mouth what you say. There’s a Father up above, looking down with 20 tender love. Be careful little mouth what you say. Be careful little ears what you hear. Be careful little ears what you hear. There’s a Father up above looking down with tender love. Be careful little ears what you hear. This is a daily walk. I want this church to become so covered with His Presence just because of the life we live, the things we say, the things we do. Tonight you need to know that Moses started a path for you. Follow his example: Teach me Thy ways. Teach me Thy ways, that I might not sin against You. I want to know You. I want to know You more every day. I want my life to look like Yours. Let Him plant that in your heart tonight. Amen. 21
