The words of Barack Obama still echo through our na- tion: “We must fundamentally change America. We must fundamentally reimagine America.” These words were spoken to plant a seed in the minds of Ameri- cans—that something is fundamentally wrong with our nation, that she must be reimagined. But I am here tonight to prove to you that America was, is, and— YAHWEH willing—always will be the greatest nation not only on the face of the Earth but in the history of the world. Her past is complete. Her present is in peril. Her future is in your hands. Upon the vocal wavelengths of your voice lies the only hope for the future of America. But only a fool tries to look at the future without look- ing to the past. In just a few days, Thanksgiving will come once again to the hallowed shores of America—the shores where the Pilgrims arrived several hun- dred years ago. And when you celebrate Thanksgiving, I pray that you will do more than eat turkey and vegetables and side dishes and desserts. I pray that you will rise up at your table, wherever your family is gathered, and become an ambassador of American greatness. Where do ambassadors go? Ambassadors go into foreign lands and represent their nation. This Thanksgiving, you will travel into the foreign land of your family and friends—and most of them have been re-indoctrinated. Most of them have become re-educated in the modern world to believe in the flaws of America, that we should be ashamed of our nation. Your job as an ambassador is to take your little fork, clink it on the side of your glass, ask the family if you may say a few words about Thanksgiving—and then deliver the message of America’s greatness to your children, your grandchildren, to everyone in your circle of influ- ence. You are going to learn things about America that maybe you did not know. And when you learn them, I commission you to share them. For the Constitution of the United States has only one keeper—and that keeper is the people. “The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.” — Isaiah 9:2 Let that light shine upon you. Let the truth of America’s founding illuminate your understanding. For you are part of the greatest heritage in the history of the world. CHAPTER ONE A Divine Mission I want to bring you back to the year 1492. Most of you are familiar with 1776, and in all of our minds as patriots, that seems to be the starting point of America. But the truth is, some three hundred years before 1776, Ameri- ca—as it would come to be known—was planted in someone’s spirit. Remember: your spirit is your mind. Our mind is where everything is formed. Did you know that when YAHWEH was in the beginning—before the beginning—alone, His only companions were His thoughts? And in those thoughts, a plan began to formulate. That plan included Yahshua the Messiah. It included you. It included everything from A to Z. Without a thought, you and I would never exist today. We are all products of the thoughts of YAHWEH. And you and I are very much like Him in the fact that we were made in His image. We are little creators. We can create a good life or a bad life, and it all starts right here—in the mind. Now, if you went to the same school that I went to and you read the text- book about Christopher Columbus, you were taught that the reason Christo- pher Columbus discovered America was to find spices and trade routes to India. That was the story he had to give to Queen Isabella to get the money for the trip. But let me read to you from his own pen—his own words about why he came to this good land: “At a very early age I began to sail upon the ocean. For more than forty years, I have sailed everywhere that people go. I pray to the most mer- ciful Lord about my heart’s great desire, and He gave me the spirit and the intelligence for the task... It was the Lord who put it into my mind. I could feel His hand upon me—the fact that it would be possible to sail from here to the Indies.” Did you hear that? The Lord put it into his mind! This is that ‘savage man’ that CNN told you about on Columbus Day? Let us continue with his words: “All who heard of my project rejected it with laughter, ridiculing me. There is no question that the inspiration was from the Holy Spirit, because He comforted me with rays of marvelous illumination from the Holy Scriptures, encouraging me continually to press forward without ceasing for a moment.” What encouraged him? The Holy Scriptures! The Bible said encourage yourself in the Lord, and that is exactly what Christopher Columbus did. Listen to what he says next: “Our Lord Yahshua desired to perform a very obvious miracle in the voyage to the Indies, to comfort me and the whole people of YAH- WEH... I spent seven years in the Royal Court discussing the matter with many people of great reputation and wisdom in all of the arts, and in the end they concluded that it was all foolishness. So they gave i t u p .” America is a miracle. Christopher Columbus himself declared it. The Holy Spirit drove him to this good land—the one that the world mocks and says we need to forget, the one they call evil. But those are the words of demon powers. CHAPTER TWO The Prophecy of Isaiah Christopher Columbus wrote something remarkable in his journal— something your school teacher never told you. He wrote: “For the execution of the journey to the Indies, I did not make use of intelligence, mathematics, or maps. It is simply the fulfill- ment of what Isaiah prophesied.” The fulfillment of what Isaiah prophesied! Now the question is: what did Isaiah prophesy? Let me reveal it to you from Isaiah 49, verses 1& 6 “Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people from afar. The Lord hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath He made mention of my name... I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the ends of the earth.” Where were the ‘ends of the earth’ when this was written? North America. The Eastern civilizations had already been discovered, but this Western civilization was not yet known. That is what the ‘ends of the earth’ meant—America. He said, ‘Hear me, O Isles of the sea.’ Why did he say isles of the sea? Have you ever seen Great Britain? Is it not an island of the sea? And it is in these dwellings that the lost tribes of Israel—who did not even know they were Israel, but YAHWEH knew because He never forgets—found themselves on that great ship called the Mayflower. Just like the children of Israel went through the water in the book of Exodus on their great Exodus—they went through the sea—here they are again, riding through the sea on their great Exodus to the Promised Land. Even Columbus’s name bears witness: ‘Christ-opher’—bearer of Christ. And one of the first places he established was San Salvador, which means ‘Our Savior.’ This was no accident. This was divine providence. YAHWEH has raised my voice in this last day to call on every patriot and every American to learn the truth so that you can declare the righ- teousness of this great land. Christopher Columbus told us, by his own mouth and his own pen, that his primary motivation for sailing across the Atlantic was because the Holy Scriptures inspired him to go and find the ends of the earth—to set up the place where the lost tribes of Israel could bring the gospel to the Gentiles, to the ends of the earth. You make a great mistake when you think this is about politics. This is about the work of YAHWEH. CHAPTER THREE Ephraim and Manasseh Go with me to the Book of Genesis, chapter 48. Jacob—whose name is Israel—was dying. He was on his deathbed, and in this story, he is handing out blessings to all of his sons, telling what each tribe would ac- complish. As he laid hands on each of them, he prophesied their destiny over them. When he got to the tribe of Joseph, something remarkable happened. Joseph had two sons: Ephraim and Manasseh. When the patriarch Jacob went to lay hands on them, Joseph said, ‘Father, you’ve made a mistake— your right hand went on the wrong son. It should go on the elder, not the younger.’ But Jacob said, ‘I know, my son. I know.’ In other words: I didn’t make a mistake. I am Israel. I am under the anointing. “Manasseh shall become a people, and he also shall be great: but truly his younger brother shall be greater than he, and his de- scendants shall become a multitude of nations.” — Genesis 48:19 Now let’s go to Genesis 49:1. This is very interesting. Here’s what it says: “And Jacob called for his sons and said, ‘Gather yourselves to- gether, that I may tell you what shall befall you in the last days.’” These are not prophecies for their time. He is laying hands on Ephraim and Manasseh for the last days. The prophecy he made to them was not for their day. He said there would come a time in the last days when these two brothers—when every nation in the world would desire their wealth, their fortune, their military, their strength, and their power. I would like to show you those two brothers: Great Britain and the United States of America. Ephraim and Manasseh. The British Empire was known as the largest empire in history— greater than Rome. It covered more than 13 million square miles, one quarter of the earth’s land mass, with more than 500 million people. Didn’t Jacob say your fruit, your branches will run over the walls? That there would be so many, greater than anyone in all his ancestors? Noth- ing like the world had ever seen? Now let’s talk about Manasseh—the United States of America. Our economy and our military strength fulfill the prophecy that ‘our bow will be our strength.’ The United States represents only 5% of the global popu- lation but nearly 30% of the GDP of the entire world. Where do you think these blessings came from, beloved? It’s not because of our size—we’re not as big as Africa. There is a sovereign hand upon this land. Do you know that it was Great Britain—Ephraim—that in 1948 re- turned the Jewish land back to the Jewish people in the Balfour Declara- tion? The Jews didn’t even realize it was their brothers that brought them back to their land. And then who had to rise up? YAHWEH told Christopher Columbus to go find that other land, because He was going to raise up the brother to protect what the other brother founded. Ephraim gave them the land, but Manasseh is going to protect the land. The two brothers of the Jewish people, all in the sovereign plans of the Almighty. America has always been great. America will always be great. You are fighting for greatness. CHAPTER FOUR Seeds of Reformation Tonight I would like for you to climb into a time machine . We’re going to rewind and go even further back than Christopher Columbus. Tonight we’re going to find out what it was in the hearts of America’s founders—where did that drive come from? When the time machine lands tonight, it’s going to land in Europe, in the year 325 AD, specifically in Rome. When we get to Rome, we’re standing in the cradle of civilization. It was Rome that established a republican form of government before it became a dictatorship. America and Rome are sisters. At this point in history, Yahshua the Messiah has been dead for about 300 years. When He died, He left a holy, spotless church that loved the word of YAHWEH. They lived for the word. They were not an organized religion per se. That early church stuck with the Torah, the Sabbath day, the holy days. But by 325 AD, the church had changed dramatically. Emperor Con- stantine called the Council of Nicaea to settle theological disputes. He wanted to unite his kingdom, but it was hard to unite when everyone was of a different religious faith. So a carnal king—not even a real believer— sat on the throne ruling over a church theological council. From that time on, church orthodoxy was determined by the emper- or rather than by theological debate. Now, for the first time in 300 years, Christians were no longer in danger from the government. But the true church went underground. Let’s move forward 150 years to 476 AD. The Roman Empire has fall- en, and with it, Christianity fell into what is called the Dark Ages. Society vanished into chaos. The church controlled what the Bible had to say, who could read it, and who could teach it. But somewhere, in monasteries hidden away, monks preserved the Holy Scriptures. They took these Bibles, these scrolls, and began to leak them out to the common man. This gave birth to the Age of Enlighten- ment. In 1384, a man named John Wycliffe—a Catholic—was burned at the stake for publishing the word of YAHWEH in English. In the prologue of his Bible, he wrote these words that you will recognize: “This Bible is for the government of the people, by the people, and for the people.” Those words—’government of the people, by the people, and for the people’—were written in the seedbed of the great Reformation by John Wycliffe. Abraham Lincoln would echo them 500 years later in the Get- tysburg Address. The Catholic Church wrote this about Wycliffe after he died: ‘This pestilent and wretched John Wycliffe, that son of the serpent, endeav- oring by every means to attack the sacred doctrine of the Holy Catholic Church, translated the Gospel from Latin into English... so that by his means it has become vulgar and more open to laymen and women... and so the pearl of the Gospel is scattered abroad and trodden underfoot by swine.’ The ‘swine’ they referred to was you and me—common people read- ing the word of YAHWEH for ourselves. CHAPTER FIVE The PuritansRise The story of America is a story of nonconformity to tyranny. When you see a group of people rising up, there is a seed inside of them of non- conformity to tyranny. We do not get that accidentally—that is a birth- right that has been handed down to us. In England, the seeds of the Reformation found their way to that little island. It all started with the printing of a Bible—the Geneva Bible— which had been printed in English and smuggled into England. But by this time, England had its own tyranny. By the time of the pilgrims, 40,000 noncompliant people—people who refused to be afraid of their government—had shed their blood on the soil of England for their beliefs. These Presbyterians had fought for years to be set free from the Roman Catholic Church, and now they were fighting to be set free from the Church of England. Who were these nonconformists? They were people who simply wanted to live their lives according to what they could read for them- selves from the teachings of the Holy Bible. The rulers of that day wanted to maintain their unquestioned right to rule over the land. Here is something that was written about the pilgrims of that day: ‘The state had become Christian, but the irony of it is this—the true follow- ers of Christ were very few in England.’ Listen carefully: these original nonconformists said, ‘We know that all the churches have said it’s okay. We get that it’s an irony—we live in a Christian town, churches on every corner—and yet the true follow- ers of Christ are very few, even in a Christian nation.’ England was a Christian nation. The founders of America were Christians running from Christianity. Let that sink in. Why did they call our forefathers ‘Puritans’? Let’s do a little etymol- ogy. ‘Puritan’—is there a word sticking out in your mind? Pure. They wanted to purify the swamp. There was something in their blood that hated the swamp, whether it was in the church or the nation. Ladies and gentlemen, you’re not only patriots—you’re Puritans. What has you so angry about corruption? It’s the fact that you’re a Puri- tan. You want it pure. You want it right. You want it done by the law of the land, by the law of the Republic. These Puritans were considered ‘deplorables’ by their government. They were considered Neanderthals. They were enemies of the state. His- tory is repeating itself, and you’re living right in the midst of it. It’s a metamorphosis of the same character: Separatist, Puritan, Pil- grim, Patriot. We’re all the same. It’s YAHWEH first—His word first. CHAPTER SIX Flight to Freedom There was a specific group of nonconformists who were a thorn in Queen Elizabeth’s side. They were called ‘Brownists,’ named after their leader. They started a group of churches known as Congregationalists— the ones who started the idea of power belonging to the people. These people were so persecuted by the queen that they were forced to leave England and go to Holland, under the care of their Pastor, Mr. John Robinson. I want you to remember John Robinson. If it were not for John Robinson, there would be no America today as we know it. Always remember what I’m teaching you: America was a church be- fore she was a nation, and her founder is truly Mr. John Robinson. They were a group of noncompliant Christians who met in secret in homes throughout England. They were a strange group because they were committed to YAHWEH and His word like few other Christian churches of their day. They did their best to imitate the original Christian church of the first century. They met in a place called Scrooby Manor in Babworth, England, in the home of William Brewster. These Puritans were compelled to worship in private homes with utmost secrecy, as the first Christians did under the persecution of the Roman emperors. Being a Separatist was considered treason. Under the Act of Uni- formity of 1559, attending any church service other than the Church of England carried a fine—and after that, prison. In 1593, Elizabeth passed the Act against the Puritans. If you were caught as a nonconformist, you had to get up and confess: ‘I confess that I was nonconformist to a tyrannical government, and I tried to use the excuse of my religious rights.’ The pilgrims were not allowed to use a religious exemption from tyrannical government. William Brewster sold his estate, and the whole congregation decided to move to Holland. He hired a Dutch sea captain to smuggle them out of England. To get to that ship, the entire congregation—300 of them—had to walk 60 miles. But when they got there, they had been double-crossed. The govern- ment had paid the seaman to reveal their plans. They were arrested. The ship master kept all their money, and England took everything they had, leaving this little church destitute. But this did not stop them from trying again. A few months later, they were free from jail and met back up by the sea. When they finally got on ships, the women and children got on one ship, and all the men got on another. Then the mother of all storms separated the two ships for a hundred days. Both ships were lost. Every other ship in the area sank—except for the two ships carrying the little church. YAHWEH brought them back together, and finally they landed in Holland, in a little town called Leiden, where they stayed for nine years. When the King of Spain headed to Holland for war to bring Cathol- icism, a wind blew from out of nowhere and diverted the Spanish ships. And in that moment, these pilgrims got on a ship in Leiden, Holland, to sail to the new world—to build the new Israel, to establish the Mayflower Compact. CHAPTER SEVEN The Mayflower Compact In August 1620, the Mayflower set sail. It carried a total of 102 pas- sengers—if you take the zero out of that number, you get 12. Among those passengers, 40 of them were pilgrims who had come from Holland. Forty—the number of testing, trial, and tribulation. The ship was only about 50 feet. On that vessel, 102 passengers were packed either on the upper deck—which was freezing, exposed to all the elements—or in the bottom deck with the putridity of human excrement. It was a filthy, horrible situation that some of your grandparents endured for freedom. I cannot overemphasize how religious these people were. They believed the Bible was infallible. They believed they were part of a great and final Exodus—that’s why they endured crossing the water. They kept looking back to Israel in their Bible, how Israel crossed the water, and they truly believed they were crossing the Red Sea. On this journey, Reverend William Bradford set up an agreement—a contract that they would all sign, establishing just and equal laws for all members of the Pilgrim community. Where did the revolutionary ideas of the Mayflower Compact come from? From the word of YAHWEH. I’d like to read to you from the Mayflower Compact: “We whose names are underwritten, the loyal subjects of our dread sovereign Lord King James, having undertaken for the glory of God and advancement of the Christian faith... a voyage to plant the first colony in the northern parts of Virginia, do by these presents solemnly and mutually in the presence of God and one another, covenant and combine ourselves together into a civil body politic.” Did you hear that? The only reason they were creating America—no matter what your school teachers have told you—was for the advance- ment of the Christian faith, specifically and primarily. After many arduous weeks on the Atlantic, through tumultuous wa- ters, these pilgrims finally spotted Cape Cod off the coast of Massachu- setts. According to William Bradford’s detailed journal, what they found was a wilderness, cold and barren. A desolate wilderness. There were no friends to greet them. There was no shelter of any kind. No one waving at them, welcoming them to their new home. There was nothing. This was real hardship—the sacrifice they made just for the freedom to worship. Through that first winter, they kept quoting a verse of scripture. Wil- liam wrote it in his diary—they would quote it daily: “Who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.” — Hebrews 11:33-34 Less than half survived that first winter. But their faith sustained them. CHAPTER EIGHT The Lesson of Socialism This is the part of Thanksgiving that very few people understand. When spring came, the pilgrims met the Indians, who helped them plant corn and fish for cod. They showed them how to get beaver skins to keep them warm. But even with the Indians helping them, there was no pros- perity yet. They had the Mayflower Compact, but there was no prosperi- t y. Why was there no prosperity in the land of plenty? This is where you and I lose the story in school. They don’t teach past ‘the Indians taught us how to eat.’ But that is not all of the story. When the pilgrims left Holland, the ship they traveled on was spon- sored by wealthy merchants in London and Holland. These merchants demanded that when the pilgrims got to the new world, they would hold everything in common—one bank in that community, every member working equally, combining all resources, each member getting one share. The pilgrims were required to hold their property, their crops, and their lands in common. Any profit was to be deposited in a common store. Doesn’t that sound utopian? Doesn’t that sound beautiful? It nearly killed every Pilgrim settler. Today we call that socialism or Marxism, and it nearly killed them. It was an existential threat to the republic then, just like it is today. All the land they cleared, all the houses they built—it all belonged to the community. Nobody owned anything. They had an equal share. Wil- liam Bradford wrote in his journal what a nightmare it was. He said this was destroying them. It was not working. He wrote that fit, able-bodied men capable of labor were doing noth- ing. They complained that they were required to work for other men’s wives and children without being compensated. They considered that an injustice. Bradford scrapped socialism. He threw it out and assigned a plot of land to each family. He told them: ‘You own it. It’s yours. Work it. Man- age it however you want. If you want to develop it, if you want to grow a crop, that’ll be your crop.’ He turned loose the power of capitalism. What he did that day was create the American Dream. Here’s what Bradford wrote in his diary after he instituted private property: “The community was found to breed much confusion and dis- content... This made all hands industrious, so as much more corn was planted than otherwise would have been.” As soon as it was your land—and all the corn on it was yours—people became industrious. Profit was introduced. The opportunity to prosper went gangbusters. And that created the bounty of Thanksgiving. They set up trading posts and exchanged their profit with the Indians. Profits allowed them to pay off their debts in Holland. And the success of that colony spread throughout the old world, flooding the new world with arrivals of people who wanted to work. CHAPTER NINE The True Thanksgiving Thanksgiving is usually explained in our textbooks as a holiday for which the pilgrims gave thanks to the Indians for their successes. That did happen. But Thanksgiving was not a day of thanking the Indians—it was a day of thanking YAHWEH for their survival and everything that was part of their survival, including the Indians’ help. It was not the Indians that created Thanksgiving. No. It was the boun- ty of capitalism—individual property rights, individualism, the individu- al spirit of success. Governor William Bradford made a proclamation that the fourth Thursday of November would be a day of thanksgiving toward YAH- WEH. They prepared a great feast to enjoy with family and friends and the Indian tribes. I want to quote to you from Governor Bradford: “Being arrived in a good harbor and brought safely to land, they fell on their knees and blessed the God of heaven, who had brought them over the vast and furious ocean, and delivered them from all their perils and miseries... Thus out of small begin- nings, greater things have been produced by His hand that made all things out of nothing and gives life to all things that exist.” Clearly, these YAHWEH-fearing, Messiah-loving pilgrims are the root from which this holiday comes. Anytime I’m trying to decide what holidays to celebrate and which ones to forsake, I go to the root. For as the root, so is the fruit. When you look at the root, you find YAHWEH-fearing believers who created this sacred day in America for thanksgiving. Not the God of the Hindus or the pagans—but the exclusive YAHWEH of the Bible. In the book of John chapter 10, verse 22, we find Yahshua the Mes- siah celebrating a holiday that was not one of the annual Sabbath holy days—Hanukkah. He was there to celebrate a good day with good roots that told a good story about the goodness of His Father YAHWEH. In the book of Esther, we read that Mordecai and Esther established a holiday that was not a holy day—Purim. A yearly commemoration of the Jews overcoming persecution from Haman. These days were not to be celebrated with the same honor as the annual holy days, but rather they were national events celebrating the miracle-working power of Almighty YAHWEH. And so it is with Thanksgiving—a providential miracle from YAH- WEH to establish this great land of end-time Israel. CONCLUSION Your Sacred Calling This week, when you celebrate Thanksgiving, you are celebrating individual property rights, individualism, the individual spirit of success. You are celebrating the YAHWEH who gave it all—and then the human spirit that took it and made something out of it. The same Holy Spirit that inspired Christopher Columbus to cross the ocean blue is the same Holy Spirit that’s causing you to rise up, to go to every rally you can get to, every convention, every school board meet- ing. It’s the same Spirit. A year ago, you weren’t worried about any of this. But the same Holy Spirit is looking for men and women like Christopher Columbus who will receive their inspiration from the same book of Isaiah and under- stand what we are founded for. You are part of that bloodline. You are part of that calling. You are part of this journey of truth. Their blood flows through your veins, and their legacy demands that the living carry it on. YAHWEH has raised up voices in this last day to call on every patriot and every American to learn the truth so that you can declare the righ- teousness of this great land. America is calling you to get in the battle, to fight for her freedom, to declare her original purpose, her original intent. “Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord; He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored; He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword; His truth is marching on!” Glory, glory, hallelujah! First Harvest Ministries International www.HisComingKingdom.com A PRAYER FOR AMERICA Almighty YAHWEH, We thank You for this good land— the land that You planted with a purpose. We thank You for the pilgrims who crossed the vast and furious ocean, trusting only in Your divine providence. May we never forget their sacrifice. May we carry their bloodline of truth in our own veins, and rise up as ambassadors of American greatness wherever You send us. Make America great again, Father— not by our power, but by Yours. In Yahshua’s mighty name, Amen. THE THANKSGIVING CHARGE This Thanksgiving, I am commissioning you. You are going to travel into a foreign land—the land of your family and friends. Most of them have been re-indoctrinated. Most of them have become re-educated in the modern world to believe in the flaws of America. Your job as an ambassador is to take your little fork, clink it on the side of your glass, and ask the family if you may say a few words about Thanksgiving. Take about five minutes—don’t overexert yourself, don’t overtax their time—and deliver the message of America’s greatness. Tell them about Christopher Columbus and how the Holy Spirit drove him across the ocean. Tell them about the prophecy of Isaiah. Tell them about the pilgrims who fled tyranny for freedom of worship. Tell them about the Mayflower Compact. Tell them about the lesson of social- ism—how it nearly destroyed the colony until they embraced individual property rights. Let your children hear it. Let your grandchildren hear it. Let every- one in your circle of influence hear how great America is. That’s your job. That’s what I’m commissioning you to do. Now go forth as an ambassador of American greatness. KEY SCRIPTURES “Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people from afar.
