Scriptural Science 101 (Part 10) "Buying and Selling" 4/25/25 - Pastor. Shane Vaughn

* How do you study the Bible? How can you have one Bible and every denomination gets a different interpretation? How can we ever know how to read the Bible? There's a science to it. Every law started off as a what? Anybody know? Every physical law started off as a what word? Science. A thought. Thought. Okay, let's break it down further. * Every physical law started off as an observation of a pattern. Okay. I mean, does anybody think that that the law of gravity? Well, I let me not use that because I make my flatearthers upset with that one. What about the law of um reciprocity? What goes around comes around? Uh the law of um Newton's law. * Uh anything that can go wrong will go wrong. The law of aerodynamics that didn't start off as a law. It started off as a what? Observation. Observation. Yeah. And then eventually the observation started what? To itself. A theory. That's right, Elder Falner. It started repeating itself and it never failed. Become a law. And it became a law. * When you're studying the word of Yahweh, you can never ever you're never in your life allowed to build any teaching or any doctrine off of a verse of scripture. Ever. I'll give you an example. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. That's one verse of scripture, right? And how many knows everybody uses that verse of scripture to totally defy the whole Bible even though the whole Bible says something totally different. * They take one scripture and defy the whole Bible. That's not scriptural science. That's not scriptural science. Okay? Scriptural science says, "Hold on. I'm looking for a pattern. I'm looking for the number seven. I'm looking for the number 12. I'm looking for a repeating pattern that continues to repeat itself. * Once we establish the pattern, we get a law. And that's why when you're reading your Bible, if you don't follow the pattern, the first mention of a word, start following that word. Read it. the first mention of a name, the Philistines. Go find Philistia. What did Felistia mean? You'll start to begin to see patterns emerging all over your Bible. * Well, we find the same thing tonight when we uh read the following parables. How do we interpret these parables? Matthew 13:44. Matthew 13:44. Again, the kingdom of heaven, by the way, tonight's title is buying and selling. What does that mean? Buying and selling. When you see that in your Bible, if you're not careful, you will think that means buying and selling. * Matthew 13:44 again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid, and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. Matthew 13:45-46, "The kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who when he has found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it." Mark 10 21 and 23. * Go your way. Sell whatever you have. Give it to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven. Now, if you're carnal-minded, you'll think that's telling you to go sell all you have, give it to the poor, so you can have treasure in heaven. How hard is it for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of Yahweh? See, pastor, I don't want to get too rich. * I will not get into the kingdom of Yahweh. Rich people do not get into the kingdom of Yahweh. Oh, foolish child. Quit reading and start reading. Okay? The kingdom of heaven is going to be full of rich men. Abraham was the richest man in the whole country. Do you mean Jesus is a comp is contradicting the Bible? No, you're not following the patterns. Okay. * So, I'm going to help you find these patterns. What is being bought and what is being sold in these parables? The spiritual meaning of buying and selling is connected to the same spiritual meaning of eating and me teaching you about above and below. All these lessons I've taught you. * When you're reading in the literal text about trading or buying and selling, it is referring spiritually to the buying and selling of not money, but of thoughts, opinions, truth, and lies. You're either buying from above or buying from below. You're selling above or selling below. Now, remember I taught you in previous lessons that your bowl is your what? Your mind. Nobody mind. The mind. * your mind. Your bowl is your mind. Okay? You're going to spend your life in your Baptist church filling your bowl. You're going to be buying what their pull pit is selling and you're going to put it in your bowl. And brothers and sisters, the things we fill our bowl with is the things that we are buying. Let's read Proverbs Elder Morgan 31:14. * And I I want you to read the literal text and then I'm going to show you anytime you see this buying and selling, you have to know it is a buying and selling of thoughts, opinions, conversations, truth, and lies. Read. Amen. She is like the merchant ship. She bringeth her her food from afar. Who is she? Read the verse before it. * Let's find the context. Amen. She seeketh wool and flies. Who is she? Go up above that. Find who she is for me. Yes, sir. Virtuous woman. The virtuous woman. All right. There we go. The virtuous woman. Now, pick back up at verse 14. Amen. She is like the merchant ships. She bringeth her food from afar. Hold on. * The virtuous woman buys her food from afar. Anybody pick that up? Do I need to explain it? From the heavenlies. Thank you. From above. Amen. The virtuous woman buys her fills her bowl. She buys She is like a merchant ship that goes and buys her food. She doesn't buy it around home. She doesn't buy it around friends and family. * She gets hers from afar. Read verse 15. She riseth also while it is yet night and giveth meat to her household and a portion to her maidens. Now she's giving, watch this, she's giving to her neighbors what she bought from afar. The virtuous woman. Why is the virtuous woman buying from afar? Why not buy from her nextdoor neighbor? I I wish somebody would pick up in the spirit now. Oh, hallelujah. * Fixing the common and the uncommon. Go ahead. I said mixing the common in the That's exactly right. She buys from above. She does not. This is going to be harder to teach than I thought. I'm needing the spirit. This virtuous woman is a hundfold. Amen. This virtuous woman doesn't trade with her neighbors. * She buys from afar and then gives it during the night, the dark night. She gives truth in the darkness of lies. The virtuous woman, she buys from somebody say above. Above afar. That's what this virtuous woman is like. Now you see how you can read that scripture and think this is talking about a virtuous woman buying from afar. * But when you know the pattern of buying and selling all through the scripture, then you'll begin to understand how Jacob sold his bowl of pottage. And it all will begin to line up for you in the buying and the selling. We must sell all the lies and the delusions in our bowl. Your job, brothers and sisters, is to sell in the night all the lies against Yahweh's word that has filled your bold mind. * And then after you've sold the lies that you were filled with, now you're ready to go and buy the treasure in the field. Amen, pastor. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen, pastor. You notice in the parable, Elder Jan, before they could buy, they had to sell. Before you can buy truth, beloved, you have to sell lies. You have to get rid. Forget the word cell. * Get rid. You have to have a garage sale. You have to have a mind cell. You have to unload. You have to be willing to get rid of the lies before you can buy the treasure in the field. Wow. So you got to clear out that old junk to bring the new stuff in to have a space. If if you don't, Elder, here's what'll happen. * You'll come to a ministry like this, try to buy from afar, and when you put it in your mind bowl, the mind bowl is now a mixture, see? Wow. Of what you never sold. Now you got a little bit, you got a little bit of Babylon, a little bit of Baptist, and you're going to buy from afar. And when you put it in the bowl, now you're mixed with iron and clay. * Oh my my mama. You got to sell first. You got to get rid of first before you can buy. You see, what are you buying? The pearl of great price. Why is it the pearl of great price? Let's think about that for a moment. Why is it the pearl of great price? Because you will have to That's right, Elder. * Because you will have to sell everything to afford it. You will have to sell everything. Every lie you was taught in Babylon. You'll have to be willing to sell it all to get this pearl of great price. It will cost you your bowl. It will cost you your comfort. It will cost you everything you thought you knew. * If you want the pearl, it's going to be of great price. You see, the price to buy the truth is what you it was the price you paid to get rid of the lies. The price that was valued of all the lies will be what it cost you to get one pearl of truth. You will literally have to unload it all, pastor. Uhhuh. Is it when we get when we get rid of the lies, when we sell the lies and and we re That's our payment from our father that gives us the money to purchase the truth. Absolutely, Elder. * You just nailed it. I'm glad you got that. Amen. Elder Rickman, go right ahead. Yes, sir. That's whenever whenever you preach and you tell us that it takes you so long to preach because you have to unteach us first. So you're getting us to sell that out of our mind before you can sell the truth to us. * That's exactly right. Sell it. Sell it. Sell it all and do a basement sale. Be willing to take a cheap price for it. Get rid of it. Sell it. Amen. Elder Bedard puts a new meaning on to buy the truth and sell it not. Absolutely. You're right in my bag where I'm headed. Oh, sorry. That's exactly right. Read for me, Elder King. * Oh, she's gone, Sister Parker. Colossians 2 and three. And let's find out what treasure we are buying when we sell the delusions, when we sell the confusion. Tell us what we're buying in Colossians 2 and3. In whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. That's what we're buying. Do you see the Do you see the pearl of great price is wisdom and knowledge. * But if you want wisdom and knowledge, you have to sell the lies. Okay? We buy and sell when we accept which is the word. Take the word buy UI and replace it with accept. A ce pt. Okay. Buying is accepting opinions, thoughts from others. Now selling is when we teach them to others. Buying is when we're we accept. * Sell is when we give it away or teach or let go of it. Release it from our mouths. Now we're selling. See, right now you many of you are sitting here buying from me tonight. Tomorrow on your jobs, you'll be selling this truth to somebody. Well, not on your jobs. It's the Sabbath. But you get the point. So we anytime you accept an opinion from someone beneath you and I'm going to get to that in a minute. * Well, who's beneath me? 30fold, 30fold, 60fold. When hundfold people buy beneath their station, now they are offending the Holy Ghost. I'm going to talk about that in a moment. You buy when you accept. You sell when you teach. Very important that you understand that buying and selling is sold from the mind of one man to another man or bought from the mind of another. * So when you're listening to teachers, you're buying from them. You're accepting what they're saying. And that's why when you buy the opinions of people that are beneath you, you are literally buying junk and mixing it with that pearl of great price in your mind. The lies and the delusions that we buy or wisdom and truth that we buy. * It's your choice. lies, delusions, you will remain spiritually dead. As long as you're buying and selling lies, you're spiritually dead. You are what you eat, pastor. Amen. Amen. The emptier our bowl is of our own thoughts, the more truth of knowledge of the kingdom will fit in there. If there are delusions and lies in your bowl, there's no place for hundfold truth. * The wisdom and the spirit of Yahweh. The wisdom of the spirit allows us to lay up treasure in heaven. Now hold tight. Let's go back to that parable. Now go your way. Sell what you have and give it to all them people that are just as poor in their thinking as you were. Wow. Make it make sense, pastor. Thank you, sir. * They're beggars. They are beggars. Go sell and give it to those that do not want the riches of wisdom and knowledge. They're poor. They're beggars. They eat the crumbs. They live off of gossip. They live off of slander. Sell all yours and let them have it and then come back and be if you're ready to buy. First Harvest is selling. * If anybody's ready to buy, we're selling. Get those delusions, give it to the poor, pastor. Uhhuh. I have noticed in my own life and I see it in yours that when we're selling it's unloaded on us to buy. The buying happens during the selling. Now that's a fact. That is a fact my sister and I've seen that in my own life. * When we are selling he gives us more to sell. He continues to fill us. It is when you buy the pearl of great price. It's an infinite purchase. It never stops giving. It's an investment that pays dividends every day. As you sell, that pearl gives you more to sell. You make a lot of interest on the pearl of great price. * It's an investment into the kingdom. the empty. We must empty our bowl of the lies and buy spiritual truth, justice, glory, and wisdom. We only want to buy and sell hundfold wisdom. Otherwise, we commit a sin against the Holy Ghost. And this now, why do I call it a sin against the spirit? Because when you buy and sell false doctrine, lies, you're not sinning against your body. * You sin against your body when you eat the wrong food. You sin against the pearl of great price when you buy beneath your station. because now you're sinning against the spirit that has made that deposit in your mind and now you have consequences for your spiritual growth. So if you're if you're hindering your spiritual growth, you have sinned against your spirit. * Does that make sense to anybody? Amen. Amen. Amen. If you sin against your body, you're stopping physical growth. But when you're stopping spiritual growth, you have sinned against the spirit because you're buying beneath your station. You are the royal family trying to buy from Chinatown. It's the dog going back to the vomit. * Now you just nailed it, Elder, as you always do. You are literally selling for $4.99. We can't be shopping at Walmart. No sir, not when we are royal family. Do you know that's why the royal family doesn't marry beneath their station? Because when they do, they get a Megan Markle that's 30fold that thinks unroyal and moves into the family. * You understand? We do not buy and sell in any form of negativity whatsoever. We don't buy and sell in the realms of rebellion ever. When somebody starts telling you, "Have you heard?" Say, "I heard in the word." Hallelujah. That's all you say. I did hear. I heard that the Lord is good and his mercy endures forever. * That's called trading in the spirit. And we must all become buyers and sellers of a hundfold wisdom. Listen to me. If a lie is offered to you and you buy the lie, what's the consequence? Delusion is coming to your mind where you had perfect peace. I wish to God I could I wish to God the whole world hear what I just said. Oh, hallelujah, pastor. * Merchants of Babylon, merchants of Babylon, they are selling and you are buying. And when you do, you have bought against the Holy Ghost. And what you have done, you you you're turned, like Elder said, back to your vomit now. Because what began to happen was you started trading in gossip. * You started trading in negativity. That's where you started trading again. And now you're you count it unworthy of the pearl of great price. You bought it, but can you keep it? You only keep the pearl when you don't put anything else in there with it. You only keep the pearl when you become the pearl. Brothers and sisters, we commit a sin against the Holy Ghost when we buy anything but hundfold wisdom. * And I want to teach you something right now. All truth comes this way. Watch carefully. Yahweh, Yeshua, the true God called priesthood, and then the people. That's the way it flows. Now watch this. That truth, I'm fixing to teach you something if you'll listen. That truth flows to you from the mouth of Yahweh, through the mouth of his son, through the mouth of his servants, and you buy it. * And tomorrow you buy from those down there that speak up to you. Now you've just reversed the flow and you've just cursed what you've bought. You have just undone what the father sent you through his ministry. He sent you truth and now because you went to trading in the village of Vagabond and you listened you when you were listening to a hundfold wisdom you was learning the truth but because you entertained one moment you bought all you did was buy a little trinket it really wasn't that bad pastor it a cute little trinket. It was a little * offcolor joke is all it was. Pastor, I realize that. But you see, you have a pastor. You have a government that feeds you truth from the mouth of Yahweh. It goes down. Quit buying from the bottom up and buy from the top down. Children, don't you understand? When you start buying from the bottom, you get negativity and you get delusion. * Only accept truth from above and you'll climb that spiritual ladder. The Messiah bought wisdom from Yahweh. He buys it from the the Yeshua bought it from Yahweh. And then the five-fold ministry buys it from Yesua. Oh, is anybody with me now? Come on, pastor. Amen. Amen, pastor. The priesthood buys it from Yesua. * And it goes all the way down to the servant, the least among us. And when that hierarchy is broken, for example, the servant starts selling to the priesthood. Oh my god. With their opinions and their thoughts, how things should be run. It ain't like that. I don't see it like that. Now, now we bind backwards. See, now when it comes from above, it flows hundfold. Wisdom comes from above. * Spiritual teaching comes from above. You're sinning against the spirit when you start binding beneath you. from the spiritually dead earth. Cain and Abel. Cain sacrificed food from the 30fold earth. Abel sacrificed an animal hundfold. The offering of Abel was accepted. The offering of Cain was not. Why? One was a hundfold wisdom. * One was from the earth. And Yahweh never accepts anything less than wisdom. Eve was offered fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. 60fold is the tree of knowledge of good and evil led to spiritual death. Only the tree of life is 100fold. If she would have not eaten from that 60 and 30fold suggestion, had she eaten from above, had she eaten the bread from above, she would have bought the truth and sold it not.
