Summary
This teaching examines mass-deliverance ministry through Yahshua’s warning about an unclean spirit returning to an empty house. Although the congregation possesses authority to cast out demons, setting someone free without leading that person into repentance and obedience can leave the individual vulnerable to a worse spiritual condition. True deliverance moves a person from rebellion into obedience. The spiritual house must be filled with living water through Yahweh’s Word, Torah instruction, baptism, discipleship, and continued submission to His commandments. Deliverance ministry must therefore involve more than the exercise of spiritual power. Lasting freedom requires repentance, knowledge of Yahweh’s law, and a life continually washed and filled by His Word.
