here's Joanie and welcome to the Johnny show so thrilled to have you guys (00:49) on there on here tonight and I hope that if you don't get to listen to it tonight that maybe you'll you'll pick it up on ihart or WG or wherever we're listed we just stay on all the time we just travel we travel and Vlog talk goes all over the world so I even get messages from overseas so it's pretty exciting it's really thrilling now I'm thrilled to have Sean uh are you there Sean I'm here yes ma'am okay I'm thrilled to have Sean vaugh here with me I had a wife on probably about three weeks ago and her message her testimony (01:26) was fabulous so I've asked Sean to come Shane to come and talk to us about what God has done in his life and he's I have a bio here I'd like to read real quick because he was raised in a classical Pentecostal family of ministers whose generation found their roots in a great the greatest Suza Street Revival and I'm sure some of you remember that from the City of New Orleans Shane vau raised in a foster care system of Louisiana having been born to a very young mother and suffering extreme child AB he came to love the Lord at the tender (02:02) age of four years old wow having been baptized at thy he fell in love that's a good word he fell in love with God's church at the age of 14 Shane began to preach he began to preach I'm going to cry okay your your testimony is so special Shane began to preach the gospel across the United States and built his first church at the age of 19 now many years having believed that perhaps he missed something in the world some of you have been there I know I have he turned his back on his calling and fell into a life of rebellion to God for which he had (02:43) paid a dear price however he experienced a complete restoration and has since dedicated himself to the building of his local congregation called the first Harvest Church their Bible College the bibl IAL Foundation Institute and a full-time author he is he does a lot of work and was for the Lord which I'm saying that which over 20 he's published 23 books designed author uh I lost my place I got to quit talking and just read to help bring the Believers into a life of maturity and to prepare them for Kingdom government God (03:27) how we need that first harvest Ministry and you can look it up on the internet has a slogan that we strive to adhere to training the reigning schooling of ruling so uh it's a good word and Shane we're just so proud to have you here and God has done a great work in your life I want you to share a little bit about that and just do whatever the Lord tells you to do okay ohie thank you thank you thank you thank you and just from the bot of my heart I appreciate so much your invitation to come and speak to your listeners uh I so enjoyed the show that (04:09) you had with my wife Karen some weeks ago it just uh was a wonderful uh show we've gotten response from it actually from various places people that's heard it and uh thank God for your ministry how you are reaching your world and we're trying to reach our world and um I just thank you for your service to God's Church to his precious people to the house of Israel and I thank you for the invitation tonight and um you know I've had a a interesting life and I look forward to talking to you about it tonight my life is a (04:51) story of the power of God to uh keep us from our own devices and I call it his keeping power and um I was born into a home in New Orleans Louisiana my grandmother was Sister L Gatlin and um of course some of your listeners may not understand why I'm calling her sister but in the world we grew up in we called all of the ladies sisters and the men brother and but she pastored a um a Pentecostal Church there she was probably one of the first um ladies to venture into such a work and that church is still going in (05:39) New Orleans and I was born into that church a church filled with the power of God and I learned from a young age to fall in love with the altar I felt like the altar was my second home I wept many tears at God's Altar and U but my grandmother had 10 children and uh many people know her around the world uh and my mother of course was one of her children my mother was a very young lady uh I believe 14 15 maybe uh whenever she met my father who was a good bit older than she was and she was just so young when she had me that um (06:24) she uh just wasn't ready for a child you know and uh uh there there's no blame on her for that life can be cruel to all of us and in her case uh she just wasn't ready for a child uh my father uh left the the home and and you know when you give these testimonies Jonah you try to be so careful not to uh disparage anybody you know because um people make mistakes you know and unfortunately Joanie people don't realize that their mistakes affect other people and that's something that I think we all need to remember you know is that our decisions (07:11) affect so many people that you know the Bible talks about being a nail in a sure place and what that means is is that there are people that are hanging on you they are depending on you you know a picture is depending on a nail to stay in that pure place well there are people depending on you Joanie they're depending on you to to do the right thing they're depending on you to be there to be solid and so you know when we make decisions that are selfish um we we're not being that nail in a sure place we're being wishy-washy (07:50) and and so my parents uh long story short I was left to the mercy of the foster care system um and at four years old this all happened when I was about three or four and uh I fell in love with Jesus whenever now for your listeners uh over the years I've come to know him as his Hebrew name yua but I say Jesus for those that may not know who I'm talking about but anyway long story short uh my stepmother I had a stepmother that was um if you've ever seen the movie with Cruella devil and in it that would have been my (08:31) stepmother uh very uh I'm not going to say she was evil the spirit that operated through her was definitely evil spirit and most of the time anytime you're born for greatness anytime you have a special calling on your life an Elijah anointing or whatever anointing you might have there is going to be a jezebel a assign to your life from the moment you're born She'll always be there always always trying to destroy and to bring fear into your heart Jezebel operates out of fear she brought fear to Elijah he ran 16 miles after (09:10) such a great outpouring of the Holy Ghost on Mount Carmel the next day he's running 16 miles on foot uh to get away from that woman that put fear in his heart and so the men of God always has a jezebel that's trying to bring them into fear so my stepmother was my first my first Jezebel um but it was so bad that um you know and I won't go into the details but many nights uh the the beatings were so bad um I was not allowed to sleep she would pour hard uncooked rice Joanie in the corner of the room oh and make me undress and make (09:52) me kneel on that rice and U my knees I'll never forget that pain of kneeling on rice and uh four or five years old and if she came in and um I was leaning over trying to sleep you know she would you know just begin to beat me un mercifully and uh but long story short um it was in one of those nights that I I'm not going to say I saw the Lord because no man has seen the Lord but it was the angel of the Lord it had to have been because I saw a physical being and um this being came to my room I remember I was I was just a tender child (10:37) and I remember seeing this Angel of the Lord and he had a uh like a horn on his side it was a it was almost like a small chofar and um and he took that chofar and poured oil over my head and now it was probably not physical oil as much as it was a vision of oil but I saw it and he told me sitting on my knees that night that you'll understand the purpose for what you're going through when you're older wow and so my mother stepmother she went to prison for the abuse um she uh let me tell you what the Lord did real quick uh she was (11:23) trying to drown me we we had a bathtub and um uh she had my head under the water there was hate in this woman for me it was just just a and you know it's demonic because how can you hate a child that's done nothing yes so absolutely you know but she hated me and my dad worked out of town for weeks at a time and I was I lived in fear during that time and so she put my head under the water and I remember my I remember to this day my feet I still have a phobia of water I cannot get around water you know it's it it was something that was (11:59) was instilled in my mind as a little boy and I remembered her trying to drown me and my feet were kicking and there was a lady that lived across the way in another apartment in New Orleans um her name was Carol and she still alive to this day she still goes to my grandmother's Church in Mississippi and she's a witness to this and so the Holy Spirit prompted her and she didn't even really know me well I don't think but the Holy Spirit prompted her to come into our apartment and she walked into that bathroom where my stepmother was had me (12:42) under the water and literally pulled her off of me and um saved my life and uh so I would have died at that moment I would have died at that moment had the Lord not sent an angel you know to to save my life so anyway so that's sort of how my life started out and then um at four years old during all that I was baptized funny thing is Karen and I my wife we were both baptized by the same preacher and we had we didn't meet for 30 years later we were baptized by the same preacher at the same age in the same church and um and both of us four years (13:24) old and so after that fell in love with the Lord and uh at 14 God called me to preach at Youth Camp um and I started preaching fulltime I didn't even have a driver's license but I was traveling all over the United States people was bringing me people that I lived with to preach and uh I became um for lack of a better word Joan Joanie I became maybe a child prodigy a child star in our Pentecostal circles uh which is never a good thing that that's what happens to child movie stars you know and um and I just 14 to (14:07) 19 uh evangelizing radio programs and I was on TBN um you know several different things the Lord had opened up for me and then at 19 Built My First Church in Winfield Louisiana and uh then something began to change in me I'm G to say probably in my late 20s early 30s and uh I began to go into Rebellion you know when you've lived for the Lord sometimes you know you really believe you've missed out on something I I don't know where we get that from but you just think okay I've missed out on something and so you just (14:49) go into rebellion and um that's what I did in the year uh 2000 um uh you know many people that know my testimony that read my books they know that uh God had to bring me to my knees uh to stop me uh and to use me for the purposes for which I was born and uh you know I don't suppose details are necessary but he chose to use the hand of the law to bring me into submission um in the year 2000 now I I committed a crime in 2000 but uh I was not caught until 2009 so that's why in some people's mind they think that it's (15:35) new but it it wasn't it's about 20 years old now but during that time God broke me he broke me in so many pieces that only he could put me back together and uhow I was broken for those three years night and day forsaken by everyone there was no one that uh that loved me during that time except my little grandmother that sent me 25 a week every week to make sure I was taken care of and sister Gatlin and U anyway everyone forsook me and rightfully so sometimes Joanie God you know he said in his word uh about that man that was (16:17) committing fornication in the church in 1 Corinthians chapter 5 sometimes he tells um his own people turn him over to Satan now you know he won't live listen he won't it's what he told him you know he said if you've gone to him I've reached out I've tried now turn him over to Satan and I'm going to use Satan to destroy his flesh so that his soul might be saved and that's what God allowed to happen to me I had to lose all my props all my support all my friends all my family everything I lost everything Joanie and um I I I remember sitting in (16:57) that place night at day um the funny thing is I was a songwriter when I was young and as I got busy making money and out in the world doing my thing rebelling I quit writing songs and I quit you know I just lost my passion the funny thing is while I was in there I asked for a pencil and um I took the papers from the court that had said that I would be I would be gone for over 20 years um you know it was not a good picture whatsoever and I took those court documents and every night Joanie I took that pencil and I wrote a (17:40) song on the back of over 300 court documents and I I sing them to this day and God used that to turn my life around for three years he broke me and then when I was released in 2011 um I I had surrendered completely to being what God had called me to be and so God gave me more than I ever lost um I lost my everything I just lost it all but um now I'm married to a a walking angel that helped put my life back together and God has just been so good to us since then and so faithful to use me for his work and so that's sort (18:29) of my story and you can we can go from there now if you'd like to oh Shane that is just that's so inspiring it really is and listen there is a lot of people that can identify with Rebellion maybe not in the same way you did but Rebellion sure and we we have to get to the very bottom before we can get to the top and the Lord reveals that to us I was the same way I I wasn't like you but I was in Rebellion right and I lost my friends I lost my Ministry everything way back way back in time and I just felt like it was over you know (19:09) the enemy would say okay you're done you're through that's and I was a young person pretty young but I'll tell you what God is not through with you and God will bring you back and the prayers of saints that love you makes so much difference it's just a pulling to pull you back to where you're supposed to be tell you something you know this Shane it makes you stronger and you have more sympathy and empathy you can you can know where people are and you can love them and help them pull them out but you still have to be strong and let them (19:41) know what the word says and what will happen if they do not turn their life over to God so we have to be careful and I'm saying this to all of us to what we say about people we don't know their life we don't know what they've been through so we have to watch that so okay yeah Hallelujah and we have to be careful of how the world we we have to be careful you know not to be like the world not just in our dress and all of that but in our attitude towards restoration the carnal mind uh Joanie cannot comprehend restoration and the (20:20) world you know all they think about is Google Google and find out what they did and you know it's just a carnal mind of Destruction yeah it takes the Mind filled with the Holy Ghost to believe in restoration and that God can turn a life around and you know if somebody's listening right now and they've gone through the same thing and let me just tell them right now people will not give you an they will not give you a chance you have to believe and you know the truth sets you free if you know you've been changed y (20:56) if you know that if you know know you your wife knows you know I tell everybody I said if you want to know if a man of God is living the life if you want to know if he is truly who he says he is while you're while he's preaching you turn over and look at his wife and and and see and see how she's responding to his preaching and and what have you because the point I'm making is if you know and your spouse knows and your believes in you then the truth is you can let the rest of it roll off your back because the truth set you free and I know that (21:40) God changed me Joanie and God can change anybody if they will break now if you don't break you know and I wrote a book for anybody that's listening uh we don't sell books we give them away uh now on Amazon we have to sell them but if you contact me personally I'll send it right to your email and the book is called uh uh Satan God's Minister and I tell I talk about the three stages of divine discipline and it's the sin unto death and what is the sin unto death that the Bible talks about and in that book I deal with my testimony and the three (22:22) stages that God had to use to bring me back to my destiny there are some people joonie that are born from their mother's womb with a mandate on their life and their mistakes are not bigger than their mandate their destruction is not bigger than their Destiny and their uh their mess ups are not bigger than what God has mandated for their life and if they believe that and know that they can get through the attacks of people and so I just encourage anybody that's listening to me if you are walking in Rebellion (23:03) tonight or if you know of someone that is try to get that little book in their hand uh the the uh the ministry of Satan so that you can know why the things are happening to you that's happening to you and why that God is not answering some people's prayers to stop destruction out of some people's lives God uses evil he said I created the light I created the darkness I created good I created evil it's all in his control and if there's things happening in your life it might be a wakeup call that we all need to listen to and johanie the thing (23:40) about it is the Bible said the goodness of the Lord leads to repentance now let me say before God brought me to my knees before God brought me to my knees he let me by with a whole aren't we thankful that we didn't get caught for everything that that we could have got caught oh goodness hallelujah amen am you know what that is don't you that's the goodness of the Lord and it lead it's designed to lead us to repentance so that his goodness would be so good that we would be thankful that he didn't destroy us that he didn't (24:21) expose us that he didn't hurt but and there's some people that their heart is is still close enough to God that his goodness drives them to repentance but if his goodness will not do it and we ride over his mercy and over that goodness he's got a backup plan and it's not pretty and unfortunately the churches quit preaching about this kind of God but he is more concerned about your Hess then he is your happiness he wants you to hold that's good that's right and he wants you for his Services amen yes oh that's a good word sh good word (25:06) all of Hallelujah I so appreciate you saying that praise God well um and I wanted to you sent me the shower uh but it won't play so if you can if you can think about a way to put it on my page I love it and I don't have one sure and after that somebody saw me talking heard me talking to you and said they have one their son has one on his man acted like I can use it so praise God but I surprised you would be surprised all the I call them the closet tour I mean the people that's got these chofar they're popping up (25:45) everywhere oh Christian mantel and there's a reason for it by the way there's a reason for that and yeah I never forget the first time I heard I heard the show far you know I never realized when the Bible talks about the last Trump of God well that's the Greek word for the chaar and you know in my mind you know I'm an American I'm thinking trumpet You Know da D you but it's the sh yeah because I thought the last Trump she sound and I'm thinking of a trumpet it that is that's the most beautiful sound I think it's so it's so (26:24) spiritual yes yes and I'm waiting for it I'm telling you praise God yeah that's the time we're living in yes I know we need to listen and be ready speak to us about the Jewish holidays it's going on right now and it started I think Shabbat started in what SE September 9 through 11 September yeah I'll be happy to and for for anybody that's listening we do have a list on our website first harvest church. (26:58) org with all of the uh annual well there are seven uh there are seven annual holy dayss uh Joan on God's calendar and um of course we celebrate them all uh we don't do it to be saved we do it uh to understand our God better and to understand what he's doing in the Earth today and so uh Karen and I began we began keeping these festivals about five years ago and that's one of the things God taught me while I was away for those three years um so many things that I preach now uh when you've got three years Joanie uh night and day to do nothing but sit with a Bible in your (27:43) hand yeah there's a lot of things you start noticing you're like whoa whoa okay that that's not the way I always believe that and uh so you just go into deep study and so the the holy days was one of the first things that I I saw and I just love sharing it with Christians because a lot of Christians you know they they just are not familiar with them because the church after you know people don't quite understand that the Christian church was originally a Jewish church and uh our absolutely yes go back to the Jewish people and I tell folks (28:23) all the time when they get a little nervous that we're getting too Jewish I saidwell you do understand that you serve a Jewish Messiah you you get that right and if he walked in your church today he would have on a toad and he's a Jewish Messiah and so we he kept every one of these holidays so let me just explain real quick in The Book of Leviticus um and all through the new test just a okay Shane wait a minute wait just a minute we have a caller from Southeast in Louisiana oh do you know him Shane yes that's brother Ricky oh brother Ricky okay okay I'm glad you're on just stay on with us we're talking about the Jewish holidays and what's going on right now so you're welcome to stay on with us okay okay okay now wait a minute is there anything you want to say to us before we get started no I'm fine okay okay thank you for calling in (29:51) okay yeah I think he's just listening sister jie I think so okay go ahead okay all right so here's the thing that we need to keep in mind um the Bible tells us in the Book of Psalms that God's people would forget that we're very forgetful people you and I Joanie we're humans and we forget and you know every year I tell folks all the time you know I said I love the veterans I love the sacrifice they made and I respect it and I but you know every day Joanie I don't have time to really think about the veterans um because I'm busy you know (30:34) life is busy uh and they would become a forgotten group of people almost except we created for them a holiday and every year on July the 4th what do our minds turn towards the veterans okay that's right if it were not if it were not for their holidays they would become part of our distant memory rather than our current memory um and that is why God said in the Book of Psalms today that the reason he gave these holy days was so that his people would never forget the works of God and the holidays of God the holy (31:22) days now mistakingly and I'd like to try to correct maybe a misunderstanding um you know and you said it I've said it we've all said it that these are Jewish holidays and the truth is yeah they're not they are God's holidays and God is not Jewish these and and the reason I I need to make that clear because a lot of people say well yeah that's that's for the Jews but no this was for all the Gentiles that uh there were many Gentiles that lived among the Jewish people that were circumcised and uh they in other words (32:01) and these holidays God said was for the whole world he gave them not just to the Jews but to the world and in the last days that we're living in we're returning to them um because they paint a picture and the picture is the picture of Truth and we live in a world Joanie that is fallen and if you're not careful Joanie when you look around the people that are listening to your show tonight if they look around our world this world is full of lies it's a smoke screen and everything in it is as fake as the Kardashians it's a fake World (32:45) everything's fake and I don't mean that I'm known for my bold statements but anyway the world is fake there's no truth in our world however God God said seven times a year I Want My People Israel which you and I happen to be members of the House of Israel PA that's right Paul said he said I love these words he said in times past you were Gentiles but now in now in these days you have become fellow citizens of the household the Commonwealth of Israel and so you and I are members of the House of Israel so I tell people if (33:34) these are Jewish holidays well Paul said a Jew is one inwardly so that's fine I'll claim him as a Jewish holiday because I am a Jew by adoption so these holidays were given so that you and I could be reminded of Truth and what is that truth the truth is that the world is not falling apart and the sky is not falling and climate change is not taking over and things are not running away like a runaway train and the horses are not running into each other Satan wants you to believe that the world is chaotic and everything's out of control (34:14) especially God because if you look around at the evil it would certainly seem that way at times but God said seven times a year I want you to come together so that you can remind your El remember I talked about the veterans on Veterans Day I want you to be reminded of the truth on Veterans Day we're reminded of the truth of Pearl Harbor what happened on the beaches of Normandy we're reminded of truth that freedom is not free we're reminded of truth that that this that what really happened so seven times a year he said I (34:52) want to remind you of Truth starting off in the month of April well you know God's New Year is not like the world's New Year his new year starts when the flowers are blooming in the spring the world says the new year begins in January which is okay you know that don't even make sense there's nothing new outside everything's dead in January but God said that the new year starts on I 1 which is normally around March the 21st 22nd every year he said once the new year starts I want you to celebrate the new year and then on 14 (35:30) days later on the P 10 days later on the Passover I want you to come together for the first holy convocation of the Year our our church does that in Waveland Mississippi we do Passover every year would' love for you to come and visit us next year in April we do a big we want you to come just plan it we'll take care of you and spoil you rotten with Mississippi and sou southern hospitality and U but all of our saints come together and uh we celebrate Passover why because we start a story and the story has seven chapters to it (36:06) and that's what I want to talk to you about is those seven chapters the first chapter okay is that everybody needs a savior and that's what we celebrate at Passover we eat the body we drink the blood and we we remind the world of his death his burial his resurrection we start the story off right there with the blood and that's where everything in Christianity should start is with the blood the sacrifice of Yeshua Jesus so after that he said now I want you to start the next day go through your houses and remove all the leaven now you (36:45) know to the world that seems silly but uh here's what he's saying for the next seven days and it's so funny he wanted us to celebrate the blood for one day but he said 'I want you to celebrate for seven days getting sin out of your life salvation and now sanctification he said because I delivered you from Egypt that's what Passover is all about he said but getting you out of Egypt was easy now we got to spend the next seven days representing getting Egypt out of you and so amen every year Joanie our congregation we still go through our (37:29) houses and we still get all Le products out of our house set them on our back porch get them out as a symbol and I tell people all the time if you don't believe in s don't say you don't believe in symbols or you'll need to quit baptizing people you'll need to quit taking communion that's all symbols of a greater truth and so we do that and to to represent getting sin out of our life so there's our story again about the veterans now somebody said well we ought be getting sin out of our life every day I said you're exactly right and uh I (38:02) love my wife every day but I don't have time to Love Her Like I Do on our anniversary where I take the time to focus on her and forget about everything else well once a year we focus on sanctification in our life now I'm coming up to the Feast of trumpet that's where we're going then 50 days after we move all that sin out of our life and move that leaven we come to the that's called shabot in in Hebrew which means uh Pentecost 50 days after the resurrection and that is where we receed the infilling of the holy spirit so (38:39) we've already started telling a story Johnny and we're on chapter three saved Sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost isn't that our testimony and there's that testimony in those first three feast in the beginning of the year after that Festival we take a break and uh then in the first then in the seventh month is when all the other four festivals take place and that started today today on the Hebrew calendar it is the first day of the seventh month of the year and it's a very special month everything that has to do with God you (39:20) can tie it back to the number 7 12 3es and ones that's the numerology of God and so seven is the month where he says now all of my people stop what you're doing sanctify this month set it apart and start retelling the story that you left off with in chapter three but now here's how the next part of this book needs to read in chapter three you got the Holy Ghost you got the infilling of the Holy Spirit but sadly many churches stop preaching right there yeah they stop that's where the that's where the message ends come get saved and filled (40:02) with the Holy Ghost which we need all that thank God but now in the seventh month we're gonna do like Paul Harvey and tell the rest of the story and uh he said on the first day Hallelujah which is today I want you to pull out that old chofar off your mantle I want you to wipe the dust off of it and uh now brother Rick is on the line with us and what's funny about that that is that is a chaar blowing uh I crazy man he blows chauff fars every time he gets a chance he loves the chaar and he takes and he blows it all over his (40:42) town awesome he well he yeah he blow he goes all over his town blowing that chaar and U so anyway God says the first day and I'm trying to speed through this because I know we're running out of time on the first day of seven month get that trumpet okay okay well we're going to okay get that trumpet and I want all of the House of Israel to get your children together get your congregations together and come into a holy convocation and by the way Joanie that he commanded that we do this forever if you'll look it up he (41:16) said do this forever and so that the children of Israel will never forget the works of God the truth of the matter amen and this is the purpose of these holy days tonight and our congregation we've already assembled celebrated danced shout rejoice and then I want to get to uh a story about Ruth hefin in a second about the dancing uh that I just mentioned and but tonight we do that we celebrate and what does that represent the coming the second coming of our Messiah the King of Kings and the Lord of lords that's what tonight represents (41:57) and uh we are shouting all over the world in Jerusalem right now they've shut the stores down everything shut down to celebrate the coming of the king now there're they're looking forward to the first coming we're looking forward to the second coming but anyway that's what tonight is all about um and real quickly right after this one 10 days later we're going to have another Festival this month and it's the Feast of atonement and I won't get into all the meanings of that can go to our website and we teach on it in (42:30) depth that's the Feast of atonement then seven days after that uh we come to the Feast of Tabernacles which is a 7-Day Festival uh that's the biggest Festival of the year for the house of Israel and uh the first day of that Festival is the day that Jesus was born uh we prove that I have a video that teaches that shows that we know exactly the day he was born the first day of Tabernacles when he came in tabernacled Among Us and dwelt with us and uh so we celebrate his birth right there and then for seven days we (43:06) celebrate the Millennium rain because the Feast of Tabernacles is when we leave our homes and we dwell in permanent dwelling I mean temporary dwellings because that seven days represents our temporary body that we're currently living in how it's going to be replaced with a new body so do you see how that God is reminding us of truth of the whole Gospel of course through these holy days and so anyway that's just a brief rundown of the holy days and you have that on your website so people can get that yes and we also (43:45) have a free booklet it's called The Forgotten Feast of Israel uh they can download that free uh on our website first harvest church.org we have uh almost a hundred books that we've written 23 of them are published but they can download them all free of charge at that website and we have a YouTube channel Johnny with over 500 sermons on it teaching sermons on our YouTube channel first Harvest Ministries yeah I've seen that now we're not going to get into it but isn't the next uh celebration the uh Hanukah that right Hanukkah I've probably never (44:31) said oh Hanukkah now Han yeah Hanah is not yeah now now let's be careful Hanukkah is is a Jewish holiday it is not a Biblical holiday uh there's only seven biblical commanded holy days Hanukkah is not a holy day but it is a celebration of the Jewish people of a miraculous miracle that took place for them and the temple there yes ma'am so and we do celebrate Hanukkah every year yes ma'am you do okay that sounds great that's a great rundown it really is now don't forget to mention uh sister rth let's talk about Mama (45:13) Ruth yeah so sister Ruth uh Hein who was a mother in the Lord for me uh I met sister Ruth back right before I'm going say in '97 97 yeah because she passed away way in 2000 and sister Ruth and I had an instant connection I went and heard her preach in Alabama um at for Jan alorn and me and her just became uh Soul connected and I got her book glory and if anybody's listening and has not read Ruth's book Glory you you honestly okay do you have it did you get it no I don't have it but I have I had I on CD well okay okay well then you can hear (46:03) she had three basic premises in that book that changed my my life especially when it come to worship and it was her Mantra that she was famous for and it said worship until the spirit of Praise comes praise until the glory comes and then just stand in the glory and amen had uh that's what she did and that's what she taught us all to do you know the funny thing about sister Ruth before I met her I was a typical Pentecostal and um in our church you really didn't now we didn't even call it dancing in the old church we called it (46:46) shouting you know and uh you didn't dance or shout you know unless you you felt something you know you had to feel something pretty much pick you Up and Shake you and uh that's what we did well when I met Ruth uh and I went to her campgrounds by the way if anybody lives in the Virginia area Ruth's Campground still uh goes they have camp meeting 10 weeks in the summer it's going on right now they have three services a day for 10 solid weeks yes and it's an ashin Virginia right out of Richmond and uh if you've never been you (47:27) owe it to yourself of course Ruth's not there but uh her Ministry still goes on um and so when I met Ruth I walked in to the campground and everybody when I tell you 100% maybe a thousand people if not more were all dancing before the Lord I mean and and of course this was unique for me but sister Ruth's book she taught us that dancing was not a request by God it was a command in Psalms 150 come into His presence with dancing and that she said it wasn't an option she said that's a commandment and so when you came into (48:11) uh Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle which is her Ministry everybody danced and if you didn't you know in some Churches you feel like the weird one when you start dancing well in her church you felt like the weird one if you wasn't dancing so we I I I read her book and she turned me into a dancer which is so much Freedom it's uh and and of course now all of the churches that I ever have had any influence in I've I've had some great success in turning all those churches into dancing churches and uh and there's a reason for it because you (48:50) cannot adequately get into the glory without these three steps praise and then worship and then glory and many churches you know Ruth taught us that many churches they try to go straight into worship and that is a level that is so deep that you have not physically uh postured yourself is what she called it you have to posture for the glory and um so then of course after that dancing that would lead to such an intense worship experience that I can't I've never seen the likes of since her passing and then finally finally Ruth would bring us to a (49:34) place where there were no more words you were no longer singing words you literally stood in a glory realm where there were no English words no you just it was and and it was the whole congregation Joanie which is unusual the whole congregation uh and and she said it like this she said many of you have your own bedroom experiences where you meet God in your bedroom those special moments you know where you're on your knees and and you know you don't really feel it the same way in the congregation but she said in these days God is wanting to (50:11) bring those experiences into the congregation and she taught us how to do that and so she Mo she wrote many wonderful songs she preached at 200 nations of the world and um and God just used her and didn't she live in Israel me to another she lived in she has a church still on Mount Zion yes oh wow yeah phenomenal first time I ever heard her uh the this young man was singing about the glory and all of a sudden he quit and she started prophesying about that you've heard it haven't you and she starts talking about (50:49) that boy and the way she says it I'm telling you I was on my way to Houston with a friend and we were just I mean it was it's hard to drive because you you just felt the joy in that car it's just it's awesome tell me if this sounds familiar this probably the way she said it as we're standing in the glory the glory of the Lord yes she loved that word Glory you sound so much like you sound so much like her really everyone tells me that I reckon that's that mantle Elisha got Elijah you know and um so definitely (51:27) imparted that's what now I tell folks all the time be careful who imparts stuff to you I believe in impartation you know it happens be careful who lays hands on you because you know she definitely imparted and I just felt I well I tell you this when she died I literally locked myself up in a room I didn't cry like that when my own grandmother died um it was such a i wept for days just a it was a weeping I could I'll probably never do again that's how connected I was to her in the spirit and uh so if anybody's listening and they (52:00) don't have that book Joanie I just Ruth's book will change your life yeah I make sure I've got it I've got all of her books but get Glory it's on Amazon I think it's like $10 but it's just glory is the name of it and everyone needs to get that book in their hands um and it'll change your life it really will that's right ooo well I've enjoyed the session I think I need to come visit your church well you better April the 5th through the 7th and you come and I'll I was a I taught in many churches over the world over the United States from Alaska to Missouri to whatever and I thought the Lord told me in fact the Lord used a minister to tell me Jony why don't you get on the radio and teach the word of God because you can you can get lot more people that way so I do that well doesn't mean that I separated myself from people but you wouldn't believe over these last eight years the things that have happened the (55:28) things that I've heard and sometimes it gets a little silent and I think well maybe I'm supposed to stop and there's something there's a there's a a bump in the road and then it shakes me and I realize no I cannot I just cannot I have to be used of God and this when I hear people call me from Africa and other places and send me emails I mean how could I just say no to that and I just I love you being on here you your wife both you're welcome to come on anytime and brother Ricky I appreciate you coming on too and I can't wait
