Maybe I’m missing something about illegal immigration. Maybe you can help me see it differently. But before you dismiss this as another “right-wing rant,” hear me out. Because what I’m about to lay out isn’t partisan politics — it’s basic home economics. And last time I checked, locks on doors weren’t a Republican invention. THE FOUNDATION Everything in society — everything — is built on the microcosm of the family. That’s not controversial. That’s anthropology 101. The family is the building block of a neighborhood. The neighborhood builds the village. The village becomes the town. The town grows into a city. Cities form states. And states, my friends, comprise a nation. Are we safe so far? Good. Stay with me. THE HOUSE ANALOGY When I look at my own family, I see hardworking people who built a home — complete with walls and doors. Now, did we build those walls because we hate people? Of course not. We built them because — news flash — you can’t trust everyone. And before you clutch your pearls, that’s not bigotry. That’s survival instinct. That’s the same reason you lock your car at the gas station and don’t post your vacation dates on Facebook. Our door loves to open. We feed folks who come in — invited folks. If a guest gets sick, we help them. If they’re in trouble, we do what we can. We give charitably throughout the year — out of a good heart, and of our own choosing. But everyone isn’t welcome beyond those walls. Only the invited guests. The vetted guests. Still tracking with me? Good. WHEN THE WALL IS BREACHED Now imagine someone drills a hole through our wall to get in. Even if they’re desperate — and I genuinely feel for desperate people — I’d still like to vet them first. You know, just to see who’s moving in beside my kids. That’s not xenophobia. That’s called being a parent. Then they actually break through. They stay. They eat the food. They use the utilities. They sleep in the spare room. And they refuse to leave when asked. At that point, what are they? Criminals. Trespassers. Illegal aliens — quite literally — in my own home. We’ve been violated. We owe them nothing. Justice demands they leave. Any objections so far? No? Then let’s continue. ENTER THE CRAZY GRANDPA Then along comes the crazy grandpa. He strolls in, looks around at all the squatters living in our house, and says with a confused smile: “Aw, come on now... let’s just adopt them all. Give them new names. Call them family.” Suddenly, the criminals have a new title: “Family.” Or in Washington-speak — “Lawfully Present.” “Humanitarian Parolees.” “Temporary Protected Status Recipients.” Guess who’s now on the hook to feed them, house them, clothe them, school them, and provide medical care? We are. Because we take care of “Family” so-called And if we object to this arrangement — if we dare suggest that maybe, just maybe, we should have a say in who lives in our house — we’re told: “Relax. They’re legal now. Besides, what kind of monster turns away people in need?” Legal? No. They were illegal. You just redefined the crime instead of enforcing the law. And that crazy grandpa? Yeah — his name’s Joe Biden. THE AUTO-PEN PRESIDENCY Let me give you the numbers. Not Fox News numbers. Not MSNBC numbers. Government numbers. Department of Homeland Security numbers. The kind even fact-checkers have to acknowledge. In just four years, the Biden administration recorded approximately 10.8 million encounters at our borders. That’s not people — that’s encounters, which includes many repeat crossers. But here’s what matters: Over 2.5 million were released directly into the United States with notices to appear in court (most never show up) 2 million known “gotaways” — people who evaded capture entirely 532,000 brought in through the CHNV parole program for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans 936,000+ processed through the CBP One app and paroled into the country 240,000 Ukrainians through “Uniting for Ukraine” 70,000+ Afghans after the catastrophic withdrawal Add it up. That’s approximately 4.5 million people — minimum — who either entered illegally and were released, or were given “temporary” legal status through mass parole programs. 4.5 million. That’s more than the entire population of Oklahoma. Or Connecticut. Or Iowa. It’s equivalent to absorbing the entire city of Los Angeles — except without the housing, infrastructure, schools, hospitals, or tax base to support them. THE SHELL GAME Here’s where it gets diabolical. Biden’s DHS didn’t just look the other way. They didn’t just fail to enforce the law. They actively circumvented it through executive fiat — using parole programs that were designed for individual humanitarian emergencies and weaponizing them into mass migration pipelines. Immigration parole was meant for situations like: “This person’s testimony is crucial in a criminal trial, let them in temporarily” or “This refugee needs emergency medical care unavailable in their country.” It was never intended to admit over 1.8 million people through mobile phone apps and fly-them-in programs. But Biden’s team figured out a work-around: Don’t secure the border. Let the invasion happen. Then when the optics get bad — when even Democratic mayors in New York and Chicago start screaming — shift the bottleneck. Move people from “illegal border crossers” to “scheduled asylum seekers” and “humanitarian parolees.” Same people. Same numbers. Different paperwork. It’s like a drug dealer getting busted, then reopening the next day as a “pharmaceutical distributor.” The crime didn’t stop. It just got reclassified. Subscribed WHERE IS JUSTICE? So here’s my question — and I’m genuinely asking: Where is the justice? Has it fallen in the street? Who are the true victims in this story — the intruders who gamed the system, or the homeowners forced to foot the bill? Since when did Americans become the villains in our own home — gaslit, blamed, and bankrupted for a crisis we didn’t create but are forced to finance? Let’s follow the logic: Scenario One: I work all year. Pay my taxes. Follow the rules. Save for my kids’ college. Struggle with inflation and high gas prices. Watch my purchasing power erode. Then I’m told: “By the way, you’re now financially responsible for housing, feeding, educating, and providing medical care to millions of people who explicitly violated our laws to be here. And if you complain, you’re a racist.” Scenario Two: I’m from another country. I bypass all legal immigration channels. I cross illegally or overstay my visa. I use a phone app to get an appointment at the border. I get parole, a work permit, and a court date five years from now that I’ll never attend. Then I’m told: “Welcome to America! Here are your benefits. Oh, and the taxpayers will cover everything while you get situated. Enjoy!” THE UNASKED QUESTION Which scenario sounds like justice to you? Which one respects the rule of law? Which one honors the millions of legal immigrants who waited years, paid thousands in fees, studied for citizenship tests, and followed every requirement — only to watch millions of line-cutters get waved through? The Biden administration had one job on immigration: Enforce the law. Not write new law. Not redefine law. Not ignore law. Enforce it. Congress writes immigration law. The President enforces it. That’s eighth-grade civics. But somewhere along the way, “enforce the law” became “create parallel systems to legally subvert the law.” COME ON, AMERICA — WAKE UP This isn’t compassion. Compassion would be fixing the countries these people are fleeing from instead of enabling mass migration that: Enriches cartels who traffic people like cargo Overwhelms American communities with costs they can’t sustain Creates permanent underclasses of illegal labor Incentivizes more illegal crossings (because it works!) Punishes legal immigrants who played by the rules Makes a mockery of American citizenship itself This is theft wrapped in virtue signaling. This is lawlessness branded as humanitarian aid. This is national suicide disguised as progressive policy. And when you call it out? When you say, “Hey, maybe we should enforce our immigration laws like literally every other country on Earth does”? You’re called a bigot. A xenophobe. A fascist. Nonsense. Subscribed THE BOTTOM LINE I’ll make it simple: If your house was broken into, would you adopt the burglar? If someone stole your car, would you give them the title and insurance? If someone forged checks on your account, would you make them a joint account holder? Of course not. That would be insane. But that’s exactly what we did as a nation for four years. We had an administration that: Refused to secure the border Enabled mass illegal immigration Then legalized the illegality through executive action And called it “compassionate immigration policy” MY CHALLENGE TO YOU So here’s my challenge to my liberal lurkers and fence-sitting friends: Show me where my logic fails. Explain to me how this isn’t just breaking into a house and being rewarded for it. Tell me how this respects the rule of law. Convince me that American taxpayers owe people who deliberately violated our laws a comfortable life at our expense. I’m listening. I really am. But you better bring more than talking points and emotional manipulation. You better bring logic, law, and justice — because that’s what’s been missing from this conversation for four years. THE HARD TRUTH At the end of the day, this isn’t about race, ethnicity, or where people come from. This is about one simple question: Do laws matter? If they do, then enforce them. If they don’t, then tear up the Constitution and admit we’re not a nation anymore — we’re just a geographical area where whoever shows up gets to stay. But you can’t have it both ways. You can’t lecture Americans about “protecting democracy” and “respecting institutions” while simultaneously ignoring immigration law whenever it’s politically convenient. That’s not democracy. That’s selective enforcement based on ideology. And it’s destroying the country. Wake up, America. The house is on fire.
