We're in revival. It is kicked off right now. Every night We are going to stare at each other's faces and the the room is filling up with people across the nation I know many of you have worked all day. You're just getting a home. You're tired. I get it but sometimes this is more important than anything and So we're going to the book of Genesis for a quick quick message tonight chapter 31 and Verse 30 if you'll all turn there with me tonight Genesis 31 in verse 30 for the next 12 nights after tonight I'm going to give you what I believe are the 12 keys to the kingdom of God. I believe that For you to understand the kingdom of God you need the keys That opens your understanding And for the next 12 nights, I'm gonna give you one key every night to the kingdom a key simply open something up and These keys are gonna open your understanding to the kingdom message and the kingdom of Yahweh itself But before we can start that tomorrow night tonight I want to lay a foundation and Get your mind ready for these 12 keys Genesis chapter 31 verse 30 and now Though thou wouldest needs be gone Because thou soar longest after thy father's house Yet wherefore hast thou stolen my gods I'd like to read that for you in But and modern vernacular if I may this is Laban talking to Jacob and Laban says I understand That you were determined to leave my house Because you desperately missed your father's house But why? Did you steal? my gods Why did you steal? My gods and that's what I want to preach to you about tonight. Why have you stolen? my gods I'd like to start off tonight ask you a question and try to open your mind if I can and Just get you to thinking for just a little bit the best we can tonight because This message that I want to share with you is going to require thought require you to think and so I want you to imagine with me that you've got a Let's see. I don't know what you can see on your screen there. Hopefully I can get this to come up one second I want you to imagine that you're on your GPS system and You're getting ready to drive somewhere. It's very important Let's say you're going to go to Clear Lake, Florida or Clear water. Let's go to clear water since there's two of those and You go to your GPS and you type in clear water and The GPS spits out all the directions to clear water and so you take off driving You follow every turn You obey every mile marker You trust every direction You are on your way to clear water and several hours go by and Finally you arrive you arrive at clear water the only problem is You are in clear water, Kansas And you were trying to go to clear water, Florida You followed the instructions perfectly But because the definition of The word clear water was wrong You ended up a thousand miles away from the right Destination the same thing happens if you're cooking a recipe and You take the word Tablespoon, let's say you're making bread dough and It says that you need a teaspoon of salt But you put a tablespoon of salt the bread comes out it looks perfect and You bite into it and It literally tastes like salt lick for horses. Why? one word one misunderstood word one wrong definition one wrong understanding messed up the end result Imagine your doctor writes you a prescription But one letter in the drug name is incorrect You take that prescription faithfully every day Believing it's going to heal you but instead it poisons you You trusted the instructions completely But the meaning of that single word Determined whether you lived or died now brothers and sisters I'm asking you these questions tonight to make you think and realize the importance of a true understanding of the Word of Yahweh the Word of God and more importantly the meaning of every single word of The Word of Yahweh very very important Now there is a term that I want to make you familiar with it's called originalism Now legal scholars know what that word means and you should know Originalism is very simple What was originally? intended When words were first spoken when our founding fathers when it comes to the Constitution Everybody applauds Originalism Everybody agrees that we should go by what the founders intended but if you mention Originalism about the scriptures the Holy Bible that you hold in your hand It's the same as the Constitution Democrats or liberals if you will They read the Constitution from a modern mindset and That's why me as professor Toto have to set them straight every day because I am an originalist and I look for the original Intent what our founding fathers were thinking when they wrote the word Natural-born Citizen, it doesn't mean the same today as it did then in our thinking We were educated in public schools. We were taught that a natural-born citizen is somebody that was born here but our founding fathers Didn't think that way So if we're going to go to court We've got to practice originalism But yet when it comes to the Holy Bible Every one of you have it in your hands If you open up that Bible and just start reading You're going to read it with your American mindset Just like a liberal reads the Constitution with a liberal Mindset and so therefore when they see the word natural-born citizen They will argue with you to what it means Because at the end of the day That's what it means to them and So many people that listen to my teachings get very scared They have no problem with originalism in the Constitution But when we go to the word and demand Originalism people get nervous They get scared the moment you say something like Well, that's not translated correctly. There's a fear that grabs a hold of people's hearts because after all we cling to the Word of God and Therefore we feel like someone is Taking or stealing our gods bear with me tonight, okay Originalism is essential both for Constitutional law, but even more importantly for the Word of Yahweh Remember tomorrow night. Huh? I'm gonna start giving you keys to the kingdom 12 of them and Those keys are not anything out of the ordinary They are simply an original understanding of the Scriptures But when you get the original understanding your mind will open up to the next key and so tonight We read in Genesis chapter 31 where Laban Jacob his son-in-law has taken his daughters Rachel and Leah and Married them and moved away from Laban's house. All right He goes to his father's house Well, let me tell you what happened when he came back to visit Laban Laban accused Jacob of Stealing His gods. He said hey Jacob. I Know you left my house and wanted to go back to the promised land But why? Jacob Did you steal? my gods my little trinkets The little gods that are in my house They're all gone because you Jacob Stole my gods and Jacob responded in verse 32 and Jacob said whoever You find that has your gods Let them die in other words. I raised my hand to my God Yahweh That I didn't take your gods Laban, but whoever did Let them die Now when Jacob said those words saints of YAH He had no idea who stole those gods It was his wife Rachel Before Rachel left Laban's house. She snuck in and stole the gods and They hid them in her camel saddle you can read that story in the book of Genesis Jacob did not know that his prophetic words Would come to pass Exactly as he spoke them because on their way back to the promised land After Rachel had been found out that she stole the gods She died on their journey and never entered Into the promised land. I've come to preach to you tonight first harvest I've come to tell you you can never enter The priestly position that Yahweh has for you You can never enter into your destiny while clutching The idols that we claim we left behind We cannot move in to the covenant of the promised land Rachel holding on To our gods now. I want to talk to you about Laban's gods These gods were not evil. It wasn't Satan. It wasn't demons But it was known as the Terra theme T-e-r-a-p-h-i-m They were household idols Connected to ancestor worship In other words, they would have a little doll that represented grandma great grandma Great-great grandma the Terra theme. This was the the the gods of earth Terra firma terra firma is the earth. These were earth gods they were family gods they were the ancestors and typically Whoever got the Terra theme from the father Would inherit the family wealth or the family property so when Rachel left Laban's house What she took with her? was old Traditions old Concepts old ways of thinking and She tried to enter into the covenant lifestyle bringing her Baptist God her mama's Pentecostal God her grandmother's Catholic God her grandfather's Jehovah Witness God she tried to go into the covenant while holding on to the safety of an old Identity soul ties of what God Yahweh had tried to deliver her from It's truly a sad story because Rachel and Leah the polygamous wives of Jacob one represents law but Rachel represents grace and Rachel thought Because she had grace She could bring her family gods into the covenant Rachel is grace and Rachel didn't realize that grace is not enough To keep you in the promised land in the hundredfold Just because you heard the message Rachel and there was enough grace shown to you To show you God's government to show you truth will not bring you in the covenant Because you have reached back for the gods of familiarity You have reached back into your comfort zone and you have literally disgraced grace She tried to carry her father's idols into a covenant journey She took and smuggled the traditions of her family in her heart and in her bag directly contradicting the authority That Yahweh had placed over her Jacob was trying to show her the perfect way Jacob was bringing her into a covenant lifestyle of submission Kingdom order he was bringing her to the God of his father's Yahweh and Yes, my beloved friend She was it looked like she was going She was on the camel She had heard about this God and said she believed in this God She married a husband that was part of that God but hidden within her saddle were the traditions of her comfort zone a place she was familiar with a Place she was not overwhelmed. She was not it was not overtaking her It was part of her comfort zone You can never Bring comfort into the Covenant The Covenant is not a cute word the Covenant is a strategy a strategic dynamic changing of your life and if you're trying to hold on to your life Rachel if You're taking the gods of your traditions and holding on to that. You will you will always die just before Reaching the Covenant life and the promised land The very things that she thought was her comfort is what brought her death. I Want to talk to you about the idols that you and I carry in our duffel bag We claim that we've heard about the Sabbath day. We believe it We are on our way to that hundredfold We are marching at the drumbeat of obedience and submission But hear me well if you're not ready To totally lose your connection to what you're in control of Your total connection to what you're comfortable with Rachel You can take the journey on the camel, but you'll die Before you reach it. Why? because every idol is not carved out of wood or stone or gold Most idols are carved out of our thinking Embedded church systems that are woven into our way of Thinking I'll prove that to you. This is a scripture Jeremiah 16 and verse 19 Jeremiah 16 and verse 19. Oh Yahweh my strength and my fortress my refuge in the day of affliction the Gentiles shall come to thee from the ends of the earth and They shall say Surely our fathers have inherited Lies Vanity and things wherein there is no Prophet remember what I told you about Rachel's gods Whoever got the gods the Tara theme would get the inheritance. Are you making the connection now? She represents the Christian or the believer That not only is reaching for the Covenant but is inherited a family connection to an old church way of thinking and it is not easy to let those Familiar idols go as a matter of fact most people on the camel Riding into the Covenant will die in the wilderness not because they don't want the promised land But because they don't want to give up What they know What they're familiar with? Laban said who? stole my gods You know who stole it someone that was on their way. They had heard the call to the Covenant But the Covenant wasn't enough they wanted the Covenant and What they were familiar with and that's called mixture and there is no room for mixture in the believer that's following the Covenant and We will defend those doctrines and those traditions in our mind Because why they're all we've ever Known if we lose our gods our ways of thinking our Inherited lies if we lose them We lose ourself Because those family gods the terra theme is what we're connected to We grew up in Mama's Church Grandmother's Church, that is what identifies us And if you take these from me, then I've got to follow after Jacob Into a new experience and God that I've never ever had before We we inherit these idols from our spiritual fathers that we respect Laban represents your former pastors your former churches he's not a bad man and He doesn't consider these gods bad They're connected to the inherited lies The gods the terra theme that passed from generation to generation I'll give you an example One of the idols that we carry in our saddlebag While trying to walk in the Covenant is an idol called Orthodoxy If you don't know what orthodoxy is it's Christianity it's Accepted Christianity what has always been? accepted for example the Trinity That's Orthodox Christianity that has been accepted by all of Laban and uncle Laban and Aunt Laban Those terra theme gods are connected and Then incarnation that God became a man. That's orthodoxy on and on and on everything you've ever believed is Orthodoxy and it is what we're connected to and the truth is on the way to the Covenant We don't mind a little bit of the Covenant as a matter of fact We will take the Sabbath day that we'll never leave the Sabbath day And you know what? We'll take the feast days We will but we need to hold on to something from Daddy's house otherwise We become lost We don't know who we are anymore One of the gods I'll give you People are probably wondering give me more examples orthodoxy there's another orthodoxy we all grew up under and And it's hard for many of you to let it go Some of you that think you're in the Covenant more than anybody else You know Torah from front to back up and down But there's a thing in orthodoxy That's called Congregational government The congregational church Orthodoxy says the people Have a voice and they rule the leaders of the church That's called orthodoxy Congregationalism boards and committees where voting members govern ordained leaders and You know what right then when I said that some of your gods just jumped up Because that's one God That we cannot leave in Babylon The the The image that we grew up with is the congregation Screaming at the pastor correcting the pastor or the leader and That's acceptable But the problem is when I go to Torah and I search out y'all's pattern I see Moses on a mountain speaking to the people And their answer is we will do it Now you see you was with me until that point. Do you know why? You've got one of Laban's gods in your saddle. You're comfortable with that the covenant of obedience and submission in all of our lives is One God that we just cannot get rid of congregational democracy That's a tradition from the church you came out of it's not Torah at all It's an idol of your Baptist mama your Pentecostal daddy It is an idol that we cannot let go of who stole my gods Who left with the traditions while claiming you're headed to the promised land? now Another God that we have to deal with tonight is on ink and paper It's called the lack of study of the Word of Yahweh Orthodoxy does not promote biblical study and It has turned all of God's children into scripturally illiterate Tonight I want to show you some examples of What happens? Whenever we do not get rid of that God Which is a lack of study of the Word of Yahweh I'd like to show you an example tonight. I want to help you Understand where I'm going with all of this If you have your Bibles go with me to the book of Psalms chapter 7 Verse 11 Bear with me just a moment And I want to show you One of the gods we've got to get rid of it's called orthodoxy Where we don't believe in originalism We just open our Bibles and we whatever it says That's what we go with Let me try to Show you what that leads to let's turn and read there tonight Psalms chapter 70 no chop. Yeah chapter 7 and verse 11 Elder Jan, would you read that verse for me? I don't have my I can't see my screen because of this image Psalm 7 and 11 God is a just judge and Yah is angry with the wicked every day. All right Now I want to I want to show you that the problem with that It's a wrong translation If you read that It says God is angry every day with the wicked and that's how we preach it God is angry with the wicked, but do you know that that verse actually says it has nothing to do with the wicked I'm gonna prove it in just a moment It actually said he's not angry always with the wicked Let me prove it to you. Let's pull it up Psalms chapter 7 verse 11. Let me show you this God of orthodoxy Where we just don't believe in a rich originalism We have to get rid of that way of thinking my brothers and sisters and I'm gonna try my best tonight To help you see the importance of study Psalm 7 verse 11 now, first of all, I'm trying to pull it up on the screen again for you Let's walk through this together Let's read it carefully Yah, look at the word God here Elohim Now notice the word for God right below it is not Elohim It is L now we know what L means, but hang tight God judgeth the righteous and L not Elohim L is angry But there's a problem here anybody want to tell me what the problem is it's been added With the wicked has been added to the scripture with the wicked is italicized now Let's go back to that word L Because this is very important if we're not careful we believe we don't believe in originalism We just say whatever the Bible says is what it says But here's the problem that L there Should have been a L. It's a scribal error and the word a L means not in What the reason Elohim is not there twice is Because it's the word a L from a scribal error That says not So it says Yahweh judges the righteous and is not Angry at them not the wicked but the righteous always Now I'll prove it to you children, let's keep reading Psalm 7 and 11 and go to verse 12 If the righteous turns not Now if you're not careful you'll think he's referring to the wicked He says if the righteous turn not He will wet his sword and that's where my book divine discipline comes in right there It's not the wicked that he's drawing the sword to or the bow and arrow to it is the righteous not the wicked at all and Then if you keep reading Let's go to Psalms 103 and we'll come back to this Elder Jan read Psalms 103 verse 8 and verse 9 and let's see what the scripture says Yah is merciful and gracious Slow to anger and abounding in mercy. He will not always strive with us Nor will he keep his anger forever Wow, but he's with but he's angry always Does anybody see that tonight? You you can't have two different that's what you know, that's why people don't believe in the Bible, don't you? You got one scripture that just said he is not and he doesn't keep his anger always and Another scripture that said he's angry with him every day without end This is a God we have to give up We have to give up this God of orthodoxy That refuses to question anything We have to learn to become students of the Word of Yahweh Now I've got many more examples. I'm fixing to show you I Want to help you get rid of Laban's God called the King Jane version only Called the it says what it says You must throw it out of your saddle Let's take another one. Let's take another one tonight. Let's turn to Psalms 9 Psalms chapter 9 and verse 17 Psalms chapter 9 and verse 17 go right ahead elder Thank you The wicked shall be turned into hell and all the nations that forget Elohim All right. Look at your screen My god on the left, this is what we preach the wicked are going to be turned into hell and All the nations that forget God the problem is the word is Sheol originalism The word is Sheol the wicked returns to the grave all The nations that forget God return to the grave now if you don't practice originalism and You just blindly read the scriptures Guess what? You're going to think you're going to see this God on the left the one that's angry with the wicked Every day, how can you be angry with the wicked when you created the wicked and created the means whereby they are wicked Amen We have to get rid of this God in our bag. We got it from daddy We got it from the churches. We came out of But brothers and sisters my entire ministry with you for five years has been study the word Everyone that's here tonight and everyone that's not here tonight. There is one imprint. I have left on their lives They have learned how to study the word of Yahweh for themselves Brothers and sisters I can go to my grave with that one. And that's something I'm very happy about tonight We must learn to study the word. Let's go to Psalms chapter 109 Now We're not going to read that one. That's a very long chapter by the way But I want to show you the way that chapter reads It appears when you start reading verse 6 through verse 19 That David is cursing all of his enemies It's bad and if you read it You're like I thought he was a man after y'all's heart I'll tell you what. We don't have time for a lot elder Jan my times about gone Why don't you just maybe grab a verse or two and let's see what David how bad it was set start at six and seven maybe Okay Set a wicked man over him and let an accuser stand at his right hand And when he is judged let him be found guilty and let his prayer become sin Now this is a man after y'all's own heart Did you hear what he just said about his enemies? Let somebody do this to him sounds a lot like our prayers. Let let their business fall apart. Let let for Almost 15 verses David seems to be cursing everybody that's come against him and if an atheist reads that and They read he was a man after y'all's own heart they throw the Bible down Rightly so But brothers and sisters, here's the truth. I don't have time to go any further tonight, but you have to go back to the beginning Where you'll find two words They say what he is telling Yahweh is what they have said about him Set a man over David and let that man destroy him he was telling Yahweh what they were saying about him and Then in verse 20, he confirms that He says this is the reward of mine Adversaries and of them that speak evil against me So if you have that God of orthodoxy You don't read you don't study that you simply falsely accuse Yeah, we'll do one more and then I'll move on to my clothes My time is gone Isaiah 26, let's turn there and we'll go to verse 10 and verse 11 Isaiah 26 10 in verse 11 Wow, we've got 120 on a what a Wednesday night praise Yahweh. Go ahead elder. I can't hear you elder Jan. I'm sorry. Yeah Let's see 10 and 11 right let's grace be shown to the wicked yet He will not learn righteousness in the land of uprightness He will deal unjustly and will not behold the majesty of y'all Y'all when your hand is lifted up They will not see but they will see and be ashamed for their envy of people Yes, the fire of your enemies shall devour them So if you read that in the King James or in any other Orthodox version, it sounds like the wicked are irredeemable as matter of fact, it says let favor be shown to the wicked and They will still not learn righteousness Well, there's a problem in the ancient Hebrew manuscript. There is no punctuations No periods commas question marks So when you read these statements, it creates a contradiction with verse 9 Because in verse 9 it declares the world will learn righteousness When you always judgments fill the earth, so we have two verses here Go back and read verse 9 And let's see what verse 9 says With my soul I have desired you in the night Yes by my spirit within me. I will seek you early For when your judgments are in the earth the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness Okay, but in verse 10 it guess what it says the dichotomy the total opposite it says let favor be shown to the wicked or mercy or grace and they will not learn righteousness well I'm sorry You just said the whole world would learn righteousness But now you're saying even if God shows them this abundant grace, they will never learn Righteousness. The problem is is the way that the commas and the periods and the question marks Puts it in there that the wicked are irredeemable Here's what the correct reading says when Yahweh's judgment and His favor manifest The wicked will see that favor They will be ashamed and they will change lining up perfectly with verse 9 and Now we have a pattern in every case We get a pattern that we have to follow. What did Yahweh say originally? Just as Rachel said on her father's stolen idols. They were hiding in her bag. I Wonder tonight if there's a part of us covenant people that have taken the traditions of the church we came out of and We're trying to bring it into first harvest ministries. We're trying to bring it into the walk that we've all been called on questioning and and always Accusing and those are old church order things that have no place in a covenant assembly the idols Translation idols This is a translation item. We've been sitting on for generations and These idols have fundamentally shaped How we understand Yahweh's character his judgment I'd like to read to you in Judges chapter 6 if we can all turn there the book of Judges chapter 6 verse 25 and verse 26 elder Jan Judges 6 25 through 26 All right Now it came to pass the same night that YAH said to him take your father's young bull the second bull of seven years old and tear down the altar of Baal that your father has and Cut down the wooden image that is beside it and build an altar to YAH your Elohim on Top of this rock in the proper arrangement and take the second bull and offer a burnt Sacrifice with the wood of the image which you shall cut down So before Gideon could confront Midian Yahweh told him tear down your daddy's altar to Baal Because the enemy outside Could not be defeated until the idol inside was destroyed It was not the enemy outside That was Gideon's problem It was the enemy inside the house holding on to the things they were familiar with That had to be brought down before first harvest can advance Into where we're going We must tear down the altars of our fathers the systems the ways of thinking the habits the interpretations of the Bible that Yahweh never commanded but that we have inherited and defended We have to learn to trust in YAH's anointed leaders Why? Because that's one idol that does not want to leave our bag I'll give you an example tonight before we go It's no secret FHM has been through a tremendous battle This week you and I came out of churches That when things like that happen and it happens in every church every four to five years I looked up the patterns today. It's amazing But in the old church We wanted to know the scoop What happened what's going on but in the Covenant We are told in times like these To bring it to the Lord and leave it there We're not told to bring it anywhere. We are told to trust in the Lord. Hold on in these times But you see we start reaching for old God's comfort systems But we have a system in the scripture How to handle problems in the church. There's a system. It looks nothing like the old church in The old church if you have a problem you call a prayer partner and You tell them your problem with your other brother Now the Scriptures in the Covenant and Torah forbids that you're to tell no one You're to go directly to the brother Now what you're facing here is two paradigms the old one and the Torah one and They do not agree Everything you grew up doing in the Christian Church nine times out of ten is dichotomous to the Word of Yahweh You're having to relearn when you come into the Covenant we are not like what raised us We are not like Laban. We left his house with our new husband, which is the Covenant and We cannot carry on that journey our old religious ways We have become Greater than we were in Laban's house Our eyes is fixed on the coming kingdom of Yahweh Rachel if she would have let go of her old way of doing things and trusted the man Whom she was on the camel with That he was bringing her into the kingdom She would not have died in the wilderness. I call you tonight This is my altar call Search your saddle What are you sitting on tonight? worry About the ministry, honey. That's the last thing you need to worry about Yah's got this ministry. He's had it from its beginning. It's going nowhere When all the smoke has settled This mouth will still be preaching and there will still be people following me wherever we go Don't worry about that get that out of your mind This ship it's nuts. Oh, no We're lightning some load perhaps But our destiny is clear the kingdom message nothing ever Changes where we're going Tonight we have to search our saddles We have to make sure that our desire for information Our desire to be in the know is dead and We have one desire To trust in the Lord with all of our hearts 21 days of prayer and fasting that when this battle is over and the smoke is cleared we will look around I will as the leader of this ministry and Through the battlefield, I will see soldier standing that never stood before This is a moment where we search Our saddles what's hidden in our hearts? Do we have trust or doubt? Tradition or truth good doctrine or old ways of thinking If you refuse to release the old way It will cost you your future not your soul but your future a king priest That has come under total submission total obedience to the word of Yahweh and my brothers and my sisters When I trace this back what we have gone through it could have stopped if Some person would have done it the new way and called their brother The new way The Bible way Oh God, but it would have stopped but you know Yahweh takes what Satan means for evil and Turns it for good I've come to tell you Search your saddle Rachel thought she was preserving her inheritance but instead She forfeited her destiny first harvest our future is brighter than it's ever been why because the perfect light is Shining more and more every day Unto a perfect day.
