Thou Shalt Not Judge, Says Who?

we are not supposed to judge people we are not supposed to criticize people for their lifestyle for their actions for anything that they do we are simply to love them and ignore love the sin love the sinner hate the sin we are simply not the judges of people only God is our judge men do not judge us and therefore as a minister it is not my duty to judge anyone wow I just fed you a mouthful of lies from the modern Church absolutely every one of us have said those words we've heard those words and may have even agreed with those words if you did then you agreed with one of the biggest lies ever hatched out of hell and in this video teaching I intend to take that lie from Genesis to Revelation and beat it on the head until you at least will not be walking in deception I'm Shane Von with first back and journey with me if you will into the word of God and let's see what the bible really says about the subject of judging people now this journey that we're going to take in the scriptures will not be easy because it's going to totally take your thinking on a roller coast ride you're going to go from the way you used to think to the way that the Bible commands you to think and um you're going to have to stretch your thinking you're going to have to allow the Holy Spirit to open your eyes to see this marvelous and wonderful truth so we're going to start our study on on everybody's favorite verse concerning judging and it's going to be in the Book of Matthew chapter 7 and verse 1 so go ahead take your Bibles take your Bible apps whatever you use uh now I'll be reading in all of my teachings from the book of Yahweh you can read from whatever version you prefer Matthew 7 verse one Do not sit in condemnation so that you too will not be condemned now I believe in the King James version it says judge not that you be not judge is that what your Bible says if that is what your Bible says then in fact we are not to judge people you see a lot of people when it comes to the word of God they treat it like a recipe yeah when you get the ingredients list for a recipe there are several ingredients that must go together for it to taste right for it to be right same thing when you're studying the word of God there are several verses that must work together in order for it to be right Doctrine and good teaching if all I I do is take one ingredient of this subject judging and the only ingredient I have is Matthew 7:1 then we can go around teaching that thou shalt not judge but here's what happens that is what we call in in hermeneutics we call that ISO Jesus ISO Jesus is when you isolate a verse and make it support your Doctrine based on the standing alone of that verse to the contrary there's something called exog Jesus it's where you examine the whole word of God and you make these verses fit in unity tonight that's what we're going to do we're going to go past verse one and we're actually going to read several other verses in the same chapter and then we're going to mix that ingredient together with some of the other verses of the Bible and see if truly we are not supposed to judge people first of all every one of you watching me judges people every single day of your life while quoting that verse Thou shalt not judge oh yeah are you a parent well before you let your child go home and spend the night with a family do you not judge the people do you not size them up do you not examine uh their lifestyle before you send your child to their home do you not maybe search out their reputation in the community brother sister you are judging that family you are gathering evidence you're reasoning it together and you're judging if someone walks into your pathway and they just don't look right uh and you shun them you have judged them have you not of course you have quit being silly quit being a hypocrit quit saying judge not and the whole time you're judging for example whenever you was going through the city last week and you pulled up to the red light and there's a man sitting on the left with the sign will work for food you made a decision right then whether to give him money or not how did you make that decision you used your Godlike abilities of reasoning in your mind you judged the matter and you judged that no you were not going to give them money or perhaps you judged that you would that was a judgment you judge that person Thou shalt not judge and yet every one of you watching me judges so we got to be real or we got to give up so I want you to now open your Bible and let's go further in the same chapter Matthew chapter 7 verse 1 I'll be referring to some of the notes that I've written I taught on this in our congregation first Harvest Ministries here in Waveland Mississippi some years ago and I'll be using those notes in this lesson tonight now let's skip on down and let's go to verse number actually let's go to verse six how about that do not give that which is holy to the dogs nor cast your Pearls Before Swine or they'll trample them under their feet now hold on Cut The Cut the insanity out we've got a dilemma in the first verse of this chapter we're told don't judge but in the sixth verse we're we're being told not to waste our testimony Our Gospel on people that are like dogs and pigs well how am I supposed to to determine if I'm talking to a dog or a pig wouldn't that be a judgment call wouldn't I have to to discern by the spirit whether I'm talking to a dog or a pig does that not require judgment on my part do I not watch their facial expressions to see if they're receiving what I'm saying I'm making a judgment of that person but yet how can that be when in verse one I'm told not to judge trust me the whole gets much deeper let's go down to verse 15 of of the self-same chapter beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly they are ravenous wolves remember don't judge but yet I'm told in the same chapter to determine the false prophets from the true prophets to determine sheep hiding in the midst wolves hiding in the midst as sheep how am I supposed to do that without judging hey you are a wolf you are a false prophet is that not a judgment am I not judging someone of course I am and this lesson's going to prove to you that the facts are total opposite than the LIE the LIE says don't judge anybody but the truth says judge everybody so tonight we're going to dig further and we're going to find out how do we balance this with the fact that we're not supposed to judge let's get our Bibles and go to 1 Corinthians chap 5 and verse 12 now let me ask you a question before we read 1 Corinthians 5:12 a lot of people say brother Von God is my judge not men well that sounds good but let's take it a step further God is also your savior he alone can save you but did he use did he use a man to bring that salvation some man of God some preacher of the Gospel did God not used the church and the preaching of the church to save you through the vehicle and the means of the church yeah of course he did why because heaven works on the earth through the church so when you say God is my judge I ask you does that mean men cannot be involved in his judging you well if they can't then they cannot be involved in his is saving you because he's the Savior what about this one is Yahweh the almighty God of Israel your healer is he alone your healer but yet does he not tell his church to lay hands on the sick and they'll be healed of course he does why it is through the vehicle of his Ecclesia the cahal the Israel the congregation or the church that he's operating his healing yes Yahweh is your judge and the Book of Yahweh that he gave us is the law by which he judges you and there is a group of people in the the Earth today that works with God in the Judgment of the church let's go to 1 Corinthians chapter 5 and verse 12 now Paul is speaking here and he says what business is it of mind to judge Outsiders are you not to judge those who are inside now here is the facts of the matter the moment you declare by water baptism that you are a member of God yahweh's holy church at that moment you had brought yourself voluntarily under the Judgment of the Church of the Living God you did it voluntarily unfortunately before you were baptized you were not properly taught that you were entering into a different system than the world and within that system there must be judgment Paul said no we are not to judge Sinners why Sinners have judged themselves they have judged themselves Unworthy of Salvation they have worth Unworthy of the kingdom of Yahweh so therefore they are judged already but you and I as members of the Ecclesia we have come into the the congregation of Israel Where We Are training for reigning and schooling for ruling and that requires righteous and godly judgment we enter that voluntarily now let's ask the question that many people wonder about and they say what is the purpose of this judgment are this discipline in the church should there be discipline or should we all just love one another I want to say this to you about love the only kind of love that has no punishment no judgment no condemnation is perverted love it is only a child molester that loves a child without correcting a child so don't come to me talking about well we should love one another the the truest meaning of Love is discipline and correction a parent that truly loves their child has one goal for that child and the goal is maturity the saddest thing in the world is to watch a an overgrown child they're not productive in society they're no good for nothing or nobody they leeches on the family why somebody did not make them grow up and become productive citizens of our society if you are in God's church today and you think that the goal is not your discipline and your maturity than what you entered was a kindergarten class but there comes a time that Paul says You must leave now those Elementary things and move on to maturity that process of maturity is going to have so much discipline in it spiritual discipline it is in that growth period that the elders are going to teach you how to pray they're going to teach you how to trust God when you're broke busted and disgusted they're going to teach you how to live holy and modestly how to dress modest how to walk modest how to talk honestly they're going to the church is going to take you under her wings as your mother the Bible said the church is the mother of us all and working together with the Holy Spirit they will bring us to maturity so the purpose of God of us judging one another is not to condemn one another it's not to criticize one another it is to help one another grow into the calling wherewith we have been called another purpose of God's judgment in the church is to is because of this one word Holiness the god of the Bible is a god of Holiness I realize we like to say God is love but before the Bible ever said God is love it said God is Holy let's not get it twisted brothers and sisters the seven spirits of God are the seven attributes of of God the seven Perfections of God like a diamond has many facets to it God has seven characteristics that make him Yahweh and one of those is Holiness Holiness simply means set apart and it's not mixed up with anything impure or Unholy now here is the problem when you begin to preach about a holy God requiring a holy people you've got your modern TV preachers that tell you they stream across the camera to you you cannot be holy don't even try and don't worry about it God knows that you cannot be holy now hold on a moment is this the same God that you say never changes right well this very God tells us in the book of levius because I am Holy and be you also holy because I'm holy now wait a minute the preacher said you can't be holy Yahweh said to be holy the preacher said you can't be holy God said to be holy you got a choice to make between your preacher or the truth of the word of God Holiness let's go read in Leviticus chapter 19 verse two now when I use the word Holiness I'm not using the Antiquated uh molested word of Holiness that the church has made a mockery of and that the church has given us a bunch of rules and regulation that they call Holiness that is simply nothing but a bunch of junk I'm that's I'm talking about the ten commandments of God I'm talking about that commandment from 1 through 10 that was given to Israel to make them holy that's what I'm preaching about today not what I call junk Holiness made up by men that they can't find anywhere in the Bible let's go to Leviticus 19 and 2 Leviticus 19 and verse two speak to the congregation of Israel saying unto them you shall be holy for I Yahweh your heavenly father am Holy you youve got a choice to make the purpose of judgment in the church is to keep the church holy oh I could preach right there but I'm going to refrain from that now brother Von that's the Old Testament all right let's go over to First Peter chapter 1 verse 15 verse Kea or Peter 1 verse 15 and let's see what the Apostle has to say about this subject 1 Peter 1 and 15 but as he who called you is Holy so you also must be holy in all your conduct because it is written be holy for I am Holy the purpose of judgment in the church is to bring you brother and sister into Holiness separated from the world separated from the celebrations of the world the thinking of the world the mindset of the world the greed of the world the sin the rebellion of the world that's the purpose of judgment in the church if you're not going to be judged in the church you don't want to know what your judgment will be at the Throne of Yahweh if I were you I would start judging myself now by the Oracles of the Church of the Living God the Apostolic Church of God of Yahweh and I would surrender myself to the Judgment of Godly Elders in the Lord now let's go to First Peter chap 2 verse 5 and verse 9 verse verse 5 ye also as living stones are being built up into a spiritual house the house of Yahweh to be a holy priesthood offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to yahwe through yua the Messiah now go to verse n but you are a chosen generation a royal priesthood a holy setup part Nation a precious people that you would show forth the Praises of him who has called you out of Darkness Into The Marvelous Light how can that be if we are not to judge one another let's continue God's people when they begin to live in sin open sin which is breaking the Commandments God will pull himself in his holy presence from that lifestyle from that person remember the story of achen in the Old Testament he took a piece of gold and hid it when God there was sin in Israel and what happened to all of Israel God's spirit withdrew himself until s sin was dealt with unfortunately you've drank the Kool-Aid of the modern Church they preach a different God some kind of new God uh different than this God of the Old Testament they've given you a new Jesus a a Roman Greek Jesus a a a a false Messiah that requires no Holiness out of his people you keep drinking the Kool-Aid you're going to die with red lips get out of Babylon my people and come out and submit yourself to Godly judgment now when God's people sin he will disassociate with them as a matter of fact we can prove this in the New Testament in the Book of Revelation Chapter 2 and chapter 3 God is speaking to the New Testament congregations the seven churches and he warns them about Sin he warns them about continual sin he says if you do not get it out of your midst I will remove your lamps your your candle out of the stand I will totally annihilate you and remove your voice from that generation you know I'm going to say something now that's going to take you to you're going to have to swallow this God would rather have no witness in your city than to have the wrong witness a mixed up witness he would rather shut the light out completely than to have Strange Fire Burning in that generation God is looking for a people that even though they are saved by grace they understand that that Grace was to lead them into Holiness and sanctification now now let's go to 1 Corinthians chapter 5 and verse 7 1 Corinthians chap 5 and verse 7 therefore Purge out the old leaven that you may be a new batch since you are unleavened for truly yua our Passover was sacrificed for us now here's what I want to do I want to go to the verse first verse of chapter 5 would you open your Bible and read this with me if it's worth hearing it's worth studying we live in a generation a church age that's concerned about one thing filling up the church that's all they care about filling it up getting on Facebook the next day showing pictures of a full church so that they can brag about what they've done that's all they care about numbers numbers numbers Paul had to deal with a church that was so willing to let sin go just to fill the church so Paul writes him a letter now in our day if someone is in continual sin whether it's adultery fornication homosexuality lesbianism whether it's troublemaking whether it's gossiping whether it's usurping Authority whatever the sin might be when it's allowed to go on without correction God takes an interest and here's what Paul said now in our church today the Saints of our congregation first harvest many times when I've had to deal with sin they feel sorry for it because they love the person and many times in a carnal mind they'll be like well let's just love them and let's keep them here but here's the problem the more some someone is allowed to sit in the congregation of Israel feeling the presence of God even in their sin the more their conscience is seared the more they believe I can feel the presence of God so surely what I'm doing is not wrong but what they don't understand is that the rain falls on the just and the unjust if you come into the presence of Israel you're going to feel the presence of her God he's in her midst all the wind's going to blow and you're going to feel the wind you're going to feel the rain you see in a field the wheat and the tears they get get the same Sunshine they get the same rain so you're damaging a person's soul when you allow them to sit in the congregation of the Holy and experience the blessings of Holiness while living in open Rebellion to the word of God and now you've put their soul in Jeopardy now brother Von let's just love them if you really want to love them I'm going to show you how Paul commands you to love them I realize you're not going to want to read this because it doesn't line up with judge not of course it doesn't because Matthew 7:1 does not say judge not it says judge but do it with a righteous judgment and be prepared to be judged by that same word of God that you're judging the others by chapter 5 1 Corinthians verse one let's read it it is reported that there is sexual immorality among you the church he wasn't worried about the world he wasn't preaching to the world see he wasn't like some of our preachers are today preaching to the world while preaching at the church when there's no sinners in the church but you're still preaching to the world preach to the C the Saints preach to the church get the church holy and one day the whole world will get holy I'll teach you on that in another video first one it is reported their sexual immorality among you sexual impurity as not even is named among the Gentiles that a man has slept with his own father's wife his stepmother and you talking to the church all of you watching me that's part of the eklesia Israel the church he said and you are puffed up with pride bragging on how many you had in church yesterday while you got choir leaders that well he said but you are puffed up with pride you don't even realize there's sin in the church he said we can't get it out of the world but we can get it out of the church he said but should you not rather be ashamed shouldn't you be somewhere crying instead of bragging about how your church is growing when you've got people just as divorced on the inside of the church as you do on the outside with three of their ex spouses sitting on each side of the church see the church has this idea let's be real brother V let's be real with the world let's tell them we're real people we're just we get just as many divorces as y'all do we do just like y'all do we're real God didn't tell you to be real God told you to be holy God told you to be shephered from that junk gossiping and backbiting and carrying on come out from that be holy you know the funny thing about Holiness every preacher in town preaches I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me and then in the next breath now God knows we can't be holy wait a minute rewind didn't you just say I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me and be holy you can do it he can do it through you you got to submit in prayer now let's go and let's read uh the next verse chapter 5 verse 2 shouldn't you be crying so that the one one who has done this deed might stay in your midst and feel comfortable no that's not what the word just said he said so that the one who has done this deed might be ashamed and be removed from among you when's the last time that happened in your church indeed verse three for my part Paul says I'm absent in the body but I'm present with you in my thoughts I have already passed judgment about the one who acted in this way as if I was actually there whoo whoo stop the presses the shut the Bible because it just contradicted itself oh yeah yeah tear up tear it up burn it why it just contradicted itself if we're believing what the modern Church teaches the modern Church says do not judge anybody and Paul just says I have judged that dude what is it judge not or judge let's go to the next verse verse four now when your thinking comes together with my thinking with the authority of the king you see yes Yahweh is the king y the he's the judge but when we come together into holy convocation we come with the authority of the judge Yeshua the Messiah remember what the scripture says all judgment is given to the son yua the Messiah well who is his body we are so who are now the righteous judges in the Earth the biggest lie Satan has ever convinced you of is you're not supposed to judge you know why because he's well aware that in the next age to come the Millennium that you're going to be judging the world he don't want you judging now cuz he knows You' be getting ready for your position let's go to verse four and he says Yeshua the king that in the name of Yeshua the Messiah our King in other words here's what he said you and I are not judging we are judging on behalf of the judge by his spirit in our minds and with the word of the Almighty we can judge this matter and pass judgment verse five here is Paul's judgment you are not to vacillate this man you are not to uh uh make him feel welcome not at all you are not to uh let this man have any part in the assembly you are to take him after he's refused correction and you are to give this man over to Satan for the destruction of his flesh or his Rebellion but why brother V isn't that cruel no there's a purpose read the next line that the spirit might be saved in the day of yua the Messiah here's what he said if you let this guy hang around the church long enough if you let him keep hanging around you're going to destroy his soul he said go ahead tell him what he's doing wrong if he don't hear you got to go now the same thing works in a family what happens if one child gets by with murder you never correct him all the other children will become murderers they'll become bad God knows he has to deal with people in his church that rebel against Authority what about ananas and Safara who did they lie to you know the story remember when they lied about how much land they had sold do you know the Bible said that they lied to the Holy Ghost but it's not I thought it was Peter that they lied to and the apostles the church leadership what they didn't understand is the church leadership was where the Holy Ghost was operating through his church they lied to not men but the holy ghost man we have come so far in this modern Church age from where they were we don't believe that anybody has Authority in the church anymore everybody tells you we're all equal and that everybody there is no more oh man not in the Apostolic Church there is still order there is still judgment in the house of God judgment begins in the house of God but Thou shalt not judge now let's go to Hebrews chap 13 verse1 17 who does God give this authority to Hebrews 13 And1 17 to whom does Yahweh give this Authority he gave it to the son Yeshua and then who who does yua give it to let's find out Hebrews 13 And1 17 obey those who have the rule or the authority over you and submit yourselves for they watch for your souls as they who must give an account do your part that they may do so with joy and not with grief now wait a minute wait a minute did this did this Bible just say for me to submit myself to men in the church now there's a balance if there's leaders in the church that's not submitted to the doctrines of Christ then they're not legitimate leaders but if you've got good leaders teaching you the good word of the Lord the Bible said give those that labor in the word double honor submit to them why they are watching for your soul they're judging your life do you know why so many people will not get involved in a local congregation because they don't want people seeing them too close because once you hang around folks a while they're able to make some good judgments about you yeah so it's better to stay away from the church uh let's just love Jesus in our bedroom no come to the church come to the light come on come to the light come to where Believers that love the Lord and read this word come to where they can Shine the Light on you not to hurt you but to help you to reveal the parts of your life do you know how many times my pastors in the past had to sit me down from preaching because of certain flaws in my life that had to be dealt with that was judgment it begins in the house of God and you ought to thank God for it now let's go to uh the scriptures and see uh what God has to say about judging let's go to Hebrews 12 6 and10 and we're almost done Hebrew Hebrews 12 6 and10 for whom Yahweh loves he chastises and he scorches every son whom he receives if you endure chastening Yahweh deals with you as Sons for what son is there that a father does not Chase but if you are without correction judgment or chastisement then you are bastards and not Sons learn to love the Judgment of the people of God learn to love the Judgment of God through his people find a group of people that you trust that know this word and that they are able to judge with righteous judgment now let's go to James chapter 5 19- 20 and then I want to show you one more scripture and we'll be done for this lesson let's go to the Book of James chapter 5 verse I believe we're going to be going over to verse 19 yes James 5: 19 let's read that together Brothers talking to the church now if any among you Heir or goes astray from the truth and someone should bring him back let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and cover a multitude of sins did you know those two verses prove that a saint can become a sinner again absolutely you can Heir from truth and walk in Rebellion to the Commandments of God now with that said we could I could read so many more scriptures Galatians 2 11-14 Matthew 16:23 Titus 1113 Matthew 18 and 15 but let's go and and and understand something that our discipline in the Church of the Living God is only for our maturity in the book of in one of the books of Paul he discourages us from going to court with one another and he says do you not know that in the next age that we're going to judge the whole world world and we're going to judge Angels how can we not judge now you see Satan wants you to believe that it's not your job to judge why he knows that's your job Duty that's your title you are a righteous judge why because unlike the world we do not judge without mercy and Grace and without a good law and this is our law it tells us to judge with loving kindness it tells us not to hurt a brother but to help a brother we are not to judge to destroy but to restore to Holiness therefore if we are to judge right now do you not understand why Satan doesn't want any of us judging why we're allowed to walk in sin we're allowed to walk in Rebellion to God and nobody lets us know that's the way Satan wants it but God wants his people to walk holy that's why he hates tell bearing and gossiping so much that's why at first Harvest Ministries several months ago it came to my attention of a a certain brother that was causing dissension in the body and whether he thought he was right or wrong he was out of place he was not the set man over that house that God had put there and uh he had gone around causing confusion and I'm just one of those old school preachers I just cut the cancer out the moment I see it and what happens is when you let sin linger people begin to feel sorry for the person because they're carnal-minded they don't understand the danger that this person is causing they don't understand that the terror that gossip and backbiting brings to a congregation they don't understand it so therefore they sympathize with the person that the preacher is having to correct and so I made a judgement call to ask this brother to not come back into the assembly because I'd spoken with him on several times about this and there was nothing done now because I let it linger for a little too long he had gathered together people that felt sorry for him when I made that decision but they didn't know what I Knew by the spirit I saw the snake spirit I saw it working and S withing around in my absence we made that call and the people learned a very valuable lesson to this day we have suffered immensely from that spirit being let loose in the church man of God please hear me when you see sin in the church stop the music stop the dancing stop the shouting take that brother in private with love and with a true desire to save their soul help them see the error of their way at that point should they not hear you take another brother in private you don't go tell your wife you don't go tell your best friend you don't call people on the phone you don't start private Facebook groups you don't start texting you no no no the moment you do that you're out of order no you get a brother you go to that person with with a heavy heart and and and you keep this secret you deal with this brother and sister out of love and draw them back to the right way at which point if they won't hear you then you go before the Assembly of Jud judges the congregation you lay out the matter and you allow the congregation by the spirit of the Lord to come into alignment with the leaders and the elders against this matter or this person and you release them to live in their rebellion and then you long for the day when you look at the back door and here they come after suffering for their Rebellion with tears and their eyes in Repentance to the almighty Yahweh I want to say this to you the Bible said the goodness of God leads us to repentance God deals with you through goodness he is not out to hurt you he will over he will cover your sins many times in his goodness and his Mercy hoping that that would lead you to repentance but if that doesn't work he has a right hand and a left hand and his right hand is goodness forever more but that left hand is the hand of discipline he uses it through his church to get your mind right so that you may walk in beautiful Holiness I pray that you have seen the balance and the truth of the subject of judgment in the
