"Spiritual Authority Part 2 - Rules of Engagement"

would you stand with us tonight for the reading of the word of the Lord Joel chapter 2 we're going to begin with verse one blow ye the trumpet in Zion and sound an alarm in my Holy Mountain let all the inhabitants of the land tremble for the day of the Lord cometh for it is now at hand it's going to be a day of darkness and of gloominess a day of clouds and thick Darkness there's your nuclear war right there have you ever seen a nuclear bomb explode you ever seen the clouds the sky it becomes dark and gloomy thick Darkness as the morning spreads upon the mountains of a great people and a strong people there has never been one like these people neither shall there be any more after these people even to the fire I mean to the years of many generations now go back and read that line with me a great people a great people and a strong people the strong people now let's go to verse three a fire devours before them and behind them a flame burns the land is as the Garden of Eden before them and behind them a desolate Wilderness yay and nothing shall Escape them those verse down let's go down to verse 11 and Yahweh are the Lord shall utter his voice before his army now I want to stop for a moment remember in verse three it's talking about a great people uhhuh and a strong people let me tell you something there's nothing weak about the people of God sir don't let our forgiveness and our love fool you that's right the people of God according to God is a great people and a strong people yeah and he said the Lord will utter his voice before his army for his Camp somebody say the Lord's Camp the Lord's Camp is what is what it's more than great it's very great I'm glad to be in the Lord's camp tonight I said I'm glad to be in the Lord's Camp hallah the Lord's Camp is very great strong Mighty oh you need to remember that tomorrow I said tomorrow you need to remember that the Lord's Camp there's never been a people like us there will never be a people like us we have stood through the storms like you've never seen people stand we been told lies been lied on been cheated talked about rejected molested been lied on but we still standing in the strength of the almighty God because we are a strong people don't you ever let nobody convince you the church is dying or the church is weak the church is getting stronger than she's ever been oh yeah we're losing us you along the way but it's those that are not strong those that are not Mighty those that are not very great Hallelujah if you're going to join the Lord H you got to be very great yes sir because Joel said there's never been a people like this people for his Camp is very great amen for he is strong and executes his word that's right my I feel like I can speak in tongues on that the Lord executes his word am wo do you know how he executes his word do you know how the Lord executes his word do you know that he don't have a mouth on the earth except yours to execute his word through my God have mercy whenever you quote the word of the Lord over your situation that is a strong people executing the word of God for the day of the Lord is great and very terrible who you know when you sing an old song y'all not going to know this you young whipper snappers but when you sing a song every Sunday night in our church and it said Jesus getting us ready for that great day Jesus getting us ready for that great day Jesus getting us ready for that great day tell me who shall be able to stand that's the verse that song came from right there who will be able to stand on the great day now turn with me to Revelation chapter 14 and verse one woo I feel good in my soul tonight oh so glad to be home with y'all I'll be leaving again tomorrow but it's so good to be back home amen Revelation do y'all know where that's at that's at the end of the Bible well some folks don't read their bibl so you know Hallelujah let's go to first one and I looked and lo a lamb stood on what Z Mount Zion and with him 144,000 having his father's name written in their foreheads verse four these are they which were not defiled with women for they are virgins these are they which follow the lamb wherever he goes these were redeemed from among men being the first fruits or the first harvest the first fruits unto God and to the lamb I want to talk to you tonight for just a few minutes on spiritual warfare and the Rules of Engagement let's pray father we thank you for this people tonight we thank you for the word that you've given to us we pray that it would feed our hearts and minister to our Spirits May every soul leave him here tonight with a blessing from the word of God In The Name Of The Lord Jesus we pray and everyone said amen am before you go to battle you cannot just go to battle without Rules of Engagement there's there is law that governs war and tonight I want to talk to you about spiritual warfare and the rules of engagement now Friday night we talked about spiritual maturity you can never go into spiritual warfare until you've reached spiritual maturity and we talked about what tells if you're spiritually mature or not now tonight we're going to deal with this army of the Lord and I want to say this to you tonight Joel said sound the alarm in my Holy Mountain now the Holy Mountain is the kingdom of God you are citizens of that coming Kingdom he wants us to sound an alarm tonight to the kingdom of God and he wants us to tell you that it is time to come up a little higher that's right and prepare for battle we're living in the time now where Only the Strong will survive I promise you what I'm telling you only the strong is going to survive brother Barnett because see we're in the age now of the great falling away I promise you the only Revival promised in the word of God for the end time is not for the world it is for the bride a Revival of the word of God the latter rain but we are living in a now where the church is falling away one by one all right they're falling away left and right believe me what I'm telling you because they have failed to understand that they are the army of the Lord the great tragedy in the church today and this is what I want to talk about is our focus our singular Focus on the saving of souls rather oh God than the preparation of a mighty army yes I'm G say that again the church is focused on saving Souls right rather than preparing this Mighty Army that Joel was talking about because I'm not going to lie to you when I read the description of the army Joel's talking about and I look at the church I see see a disconnect we have got to get in our minds that we are going to be in the army of the Lord on that great day that's right and if you're going to be in the army of the Lord you've got to learn how to do Warfare spiritual warfare right because if you cannot survive the Warfare of this life you will not survive the Warfare that Joel's talking about Joel said I saw an army of great people never been nobody like them before How can there be an Army in that day of great people I'll tell you how because the soldiers in the army of the Lord that are coming on that great day are the very ones under the sound of my voice that are covered with blood from head to toe you are covered with discouragement from head to toe you are covered with a malicious attacks of the enemy from head to toe you're black from the top of your head to the sole of your foot you've been drugged through the mud you've been lied on you've been hurt by your closest relative you've been forsaken by the church you've been put down you've been let down you've been turned around but somehow someway there's still a fight left in you that is the army of the Lord that Army is not going to get great on that day that Army is getting great right now so that oh yes so oh yeah so we can fight I said so we can fight on that great day if you can fight in this day you're qualified to fight on that great day if you ever feel like giving up you ever feel like turning around remember these words God don't need save folks God needs soldiers I said I hope you understood what I just said God don't need saved folks he needs soldiers now you can take that any way you want to twist it brother V said God don't want nobody saved listen to what I'm saying the church is trying to get folks saved God's trying to train an army oh yes thank you Lord God trying to train an army an army that knows how to fight in the spirit that's right because you know the Bible says that that great Army everywhere they went a fire burned before them that's not a literal fire the word of God is fire this Army I'll tell you oh I'll tell you this Army is a word Army this Army can quote the word from Genesis to Revelation when the devil tells us we're defeated we can tell him greater is he that's in me when he tells us we're brusted and disgusted we can tell him I once was young and now I'm old I've never seen the righteous forsaken this Army is a word Army you'll never get in this Army by simp faith in Christ that's how you join this Army oh I believe in Jesus I'm glad the devil does too right oh I just called on the Lord y you better do more than call on the Lord you better learn how to fellowship with the Lord you better learn how to die with the Lord you better learn the Lord's character you better learn his nature you got to learn the secrets of the Lord because I'm going to tell every one of you something God God's looking for an Army thanes sister Justina how can we qualify for the Army if we are not daily overcoming something brother V would you pray that this would leave my life let me tell you something every demon that you fight against has been sent by God to see how you will handle that battle and when you have learned the word when the word becomes your sword when the word becomes your weapon when the word becomes your Refuge when the word becomes your everything no devil in hell can fight you no Jezebel can touch you because you're a soldier in the army of the Lord if you join this army with the thought in your mind if it gets too hard I'll quit you don't even need to join cuz it's going to get hard then it's going to get harder then it's going to get harder and all that's going to be left of you is some dead corpse some dead man that don't have one oce of Pride left I don't have one oce of anything left but the Holy Ghost and the word of God when you see people praying what you see and I've had people tell me carnal people worldly people they see prayer as a sign of weakness what do you mean you're going to pray about it won't you do something about it you don't understand I don't have the power to do anything that's right that's right I don't have no power May well do something about it I I can't I'm a little innocent child I have to go to my heavenly father and ask him for the next piece of bread on my plate my prayer life is my training ground my prayer is where I learn the secret to spiritual warfare that The Battle Belongs to the Lord that's how you win spiritual warfare oh brother V I'm broke I think I I'm going to go out and hustle up some money why don't you hustle up some knees and fall on them and trust God for everything that you need you'll never go hungry trust in the Lord never God's not trying to get you saved as much as he's trying to get you Sanctified because if you're going to be a soldier in the army of the Lord you're going to have to fight every day of your life you listen to me that's in this room tonight if anybody's ever felt like giving up you're looking at him I lived with a jezebel I've been fought by Jezebel I've been tormented night and day every day of my life but I've never fought back one time because I found out the secret of spiritual work say when I go to my father said when I go to my father when I fall on my knees when I cry help Lord help me Lord my battle is already won that battle is already won that battle is already won why because the battle wasn't over your enemy the battle was to see if you knew who your real enemy was yes sir the first tactic of spiritual warfare is identifying the enemy and it's the enemy is not your employer let me tell you something I had something happen to me about a year ago I had one of the biggest lies t on me you ever heard I ain't going to go into detail but it it was it involved a lot of money somebody let me tell you something today that whole business is shut down because of their lies I'm talking about from that side of town to this side shut down everywhere you want to know why cuz not one time did I ever fight not one time brother V you need to defend yourself I can't defend myself if you want to believe allow on me I can't stop you from believing a lie on me nothing I can tell you will make you not believe that lie but if I just bow down and ask the Lord to fight that battle and let the truth come out I'll win every time if you walk in Holiness you will win every time I said if you walk in Holiness you win every time yes sir why because God wants to fight you do you know that's what the angels of the Lord are for the Bible said the angels of the Lord are the ministering spirits that fight your battles for you that's right I want to encourage you tonight to learn spiritual warfare the and here's the Greatest Secret I've ever learned on spiritual warfare the revelation of who God's trying to destroy God is not trying to destroy my enemy God's trying to destroy me but I didn't get no amens cuz you don't like that God wants you dead you ever heard of the word Living Sacrifice you ever heard them two words how's a sacrifice going to be alive only in The Believer can we be living dead people and I promise you if God smells one ounce of Flesh left on you he's going to send another enemy to prove what's in you still yes sir oh yes he will brother van I don't know how to fight these battles well I want to just give you a couple of keys tonight that might help you whenever we realize that God is calling us to battle you first got to decide whether it's the enemy bringing the battle or God bringing the battle this is very very important let's read Deuteronomy 28 and 49 and I want to help you tonight because God's people are giving up in the battle they're dying in the battle but I promise you if you'll develop a prayer life and appointments with God you will win every battle in your life Deuteronomy 28 verse 49 if you're there shout amen amen and the Lord shall bring a nation against you from afar from the end of the Earth as Swift as the eagle flies a nation whose tongue you shall not understand hold on God's talking to his church right there now listen stay with me Israel was God's First Church Paul called them the church in the wilderness here's God's church and you know what he tells his people I'm about to send I'm about to send a war your way and ain't no need and trying to prophesy it away no need and trying to do spiritual warfare against it it's coming from me here's many of our problems many times what you think is spiritual warfare is the hand of God right coming into your life to finish destroying you amen what did God tell Israel I'm sending a nation from way off they're going to come in so fast you're not going to know what hit you and you can send your pastor out there and prophesy out of the storm just speak the word you can do all that all day long but that Nation ain't going nowhere I'm sending them now I need everybody to listen to me cuz you're not going to clap on this part and you not going to get happy and some of you watching ain't going to like it I dare say that 80% of your battles has nothing to do with Satan right nothing it has to do with your Rebellion that's right that's right against God it's not spiritual warfare if you slept around all your life and got AIDS that's not spiritual Warfare It's not spiritual warfare if you if you if you uh was a gossiper and a troublemaker all your life and now your life's filled with gossip and trouble it's not spiritual warfare if you've been robbing God of his tithe and you all of a sudden my finances is under attack no they're not right amen they're suffering from the law of reciprocity that's right many of you are wasting time trying to called down demons and oh I'm going out there brother V I tell listen if you've been shacked up with somebody's husband don't come here talking about that that the enemy is attacking your family now no you attacked your family that's right and many of y'all's wasting God's time in spiritual warfare and listen listen if you are in Rebellion it's the sin of Witchcraft and that curse will be on your family for Generations right God told Israel I'm sending an army oh and you're going to think the devil sent them you're going to stand out there and say I command you in the name of the Lord turn from when you came and and you're making a joke and a mockery out of the things of God be not deceived whatever a man sth that shall he reap that's there's only one thing you can do whenever God sends a battle your way God it's called stop dropping roll stop your Rebellion drop and surrender that's right that's right and roll into the blessings of the Lord oh God stop drop and roll why because as long as you're disobedient to God now brother Von I've Got Friends that are just as disobedient as I am and they're not under attack I know because God didn't send the Army to nobody but Israel come on they're not in the house of Israel on they don't have a covenant through water baptism they're not in the house of God where does judgment begin not at your neighbor's house in the house of God that's right because why if you Donald Trump can't give one command to the Iranian Army although he's doing a pretty good job of it but anyway he can't give one command to the Iranian Army not one why why can he not command that Army because he has no he has no intentions for that Army that's right none you know why they're not serving his purpose you you signed up that's right oh see yes you remember when you made that trip down there sister to the altar you signed up into the what in the army of the Lord that's right and you know what you told the Lord that day you've got every right to do whatever you want to make me more like you God my God if I'm a liar make me suffer until I quit lying Jesus if I'm a gossiper make me suffer till I quit gossiping if I don't love my brother as much as I love myself send me so many armies into my life until I just if I've got Pride send an army Lord we need to pray send an army Lord knock it out of me God's looking for an army yes he is of dead folk thank you dead people that has no ability to fight within themselves they're dead that's right and all they can do is say help Father help Lord it's those people the first thing God tells you is The Battle Belongs to the Lord the minute you try to fight it is the minute he knows you're not fit for the battle because you didn't get the first lesson The Battle Belongs to the Lord until you learn to quit fighting your battles You Can Count God out he won't fight a battle that you're fighting but I learned a long time ago if I hold my peace and just let the Lord fight that battle victory victory victory shall be mine let's go to Deuteronomy chapter 20 and I'm not going to hold you long but I want to read this four verses and we'll try to move you out of here tonight Deuteronomy 21-4 now I want to say this our battle in spiritual warfare is for The Souls of men you don't have to turn there but in 1 Timothy 2 and 1 it says I exhort you first of all to pray for all men to intercede for all men if you don't have the agape love of God you don't need to be in the battlefield because this battle is not meant to destroy your enemy it's meant to convert your enemy this battle is meant to be one with the love of God in such a way to where people just shake their head and how you can still have anything to do with them after they've done to you what they've done how they can you can still love them whenever they don't deserve your love if you're going to be a soldier in the army of the Lord why do you think they Court Marshal that Soldier a while back that killed that Iraqi man on video laughing about it why do you think they Court Marshal that officer because he didn't understand the Rules of Engagement we're not here to torment our enemies right no we're here to liberate them we're here to set them free from what's binding them sister Justina the Bible said their eyes are blind they don't even know what they're doing and and yet you somebody in the army of the Lord wants to Rejoice over their downfall listen to me they will fall believe me when I tell you that but if you rejoice the moment they fall you're just as degraded as they are and you're not worthy to be in the army of the Lord so again Spiritual Authority produces spiritual warfare but you cannot get involved in spiritual warfare without spiritual maturity which is the agape love of God that's right the most dangerous preacher in the world is a preacher that loves to preach but don't love the people that's right am you've got to have the love of God oh thank you you've got to stand in a place where there's a a matur why do you think Paul said don't let a young man preach Paul said don't let a novice in the pull pit why cuz he don't know the love of God yet he will abuse God's precious children because he's got knowledge of the word let me tell you something I'd rather have the AG agape love of God and be as dumb as a gat on a cow than to know it all but forget the biggest of all of these is Charity that's the greatest of all of the attributes of a good soldier if you've got an enemy tonight you hear me if you're waiting for them to fall you're not worthy of this Army you need to be waiting for them to be changed converted repented turned around and rejoice in the Lord if he don't make them suffer like you want them to suffer the worst thing you can do is give a sword to a religious man oh a religious woman give them a sword God's watching your level of maturity children he's seeing if you've got the agape love and if you've got agape love now you can come on up into spiritual warfare and let me tell you something you must learn the lesson that we're going to read verse one chapter 20 when you go out to battle against the enemy I love this chapter and you see horses and chariots and a people more than you be not afraid of them for the Lord thy God hallelujah I feel the Holy Ghost [Music] hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah oh the Lord thy God is with thee Hallelujah I don't know if you know how big God is but I just read that the Lord thy God is with the when you go to battle that's right sister hope if trouble comes into your life and you have stopped and dropped and you have searched your heart and you ain't playing with God cuz God will tell you if you ask him I promise you if you go to prayer and you say father please tell me if I've done somebody wrong please tell me honey so many people start popping in your mind and if you ignore that you're going to stay in battle with the Lord right everyone in this room I wonder have you prayed lately and said father if I've done somebody wrong put their name in my mind right now watch your fast you do it just like that can I get a witness has anybody ever prayed that prayer and the Lord brought them right to your mind now the flesh kicks in and you try to justify what you did to them right but that's not what you asked the Lord you asked him and he told you that's right but brother Von they deserved it see that's see see he didn't say did they deserve it he said what did you do he could care less if they deserved it what what did you do that's right that's right that's right what did you do because when you ask the Lord tonight if you come in this alt and say Lord search my heart you you that's the most dangerous prayer you'll ever pray search my heart and if you really mean it get ready I said get ready if you really mean it cuz things will start coming you'll have to call everybody in your cell phone say I need to tell you something why because God wants you dead and you know what there's people in this room tonight that God said to tell you once you have done that and you know that you're clear with the Lord the next thing we got to change battle plans now cuz now we know it's from the enemy that attack so God said the first lesson of spiritual warfare and I think I'm only going to get to the first lesson tonight I've got 20 lessons 20 points and I'm not going to get to but one I'll have to finish it later but listen the first lesson of spiritual warfare is no fear right no fear no [Music] fear soldiers God God will send you so many fearful things how many's ever been in a place where you felt an attack come from out of nowhere and you literally your heart started skipping beat you got scared you just you felt like ever I've been there I've been sitting in my house before and all of a sudden I just felt like everything in the world fear would come upon me right yeah the phone would ring and fear God allows fearful situations in your life to teach you the lesson of no fear right because I want you to look back sister hope over everything you've ever feared and I want you to answer one question for me did the Lord bring you through every one of them yes no fear and God sends fearful things into your life to teach you oh God you don't have to fear right because when he comes back and we come back with him as the 144,000 and I wish I had time to teach on the 144,000 night but when we come back with him as the tribes of Israel when we return do you know that we are coming into a land of billions of people that are the enemies of our God and we will govern them right and do you know that the Bible says when yua when Jesus returns that the weapons of this world the armies will turn their weapons towards all of us do you know your Bible says that it's the Book of Revelation that they'll turn their and Zachariah I'm sorry will turn their weapons to the Lord himself they'll think it's an alien invasion they're going to be more than us God he said when you go to battle and you see that they've got more carnal friends against you than you've got spiritual friends standing with you I need somebody to hear what I'm saying tonight carnal people will always have a bigger crowd they'll always have a bigger cheerleading squad carnal people that want to start drama talk trash they can find people all over Facebook they can find people all over your neighborhood but and and there you are trying to do the right thing and you got to call somebody 100 miles away to agree with you in prayer cuz there's no spiritual people hardly around you but I just heard the Lord say when you go to battle and there is more against you than there are for you if you're going to be a good soldier I'm going to teach you the first lesson no fear don't tremble don't shake thank you no fear thank you Lord no fear right that's right if you've made it right with the Lord that's right the next battle if it's from the enemy that's the easy battle right the hard one is between you and the Lord and I feel like tonight I'm talking to somebody that's fighting with the Lord and I'm closing now honey I want you to come if you're in this room tonight and you're in a battle with god he's going to win or you are going to die one of the two if you're in this room tonight and you're you can't take the battle [Music] anymore it can stop just like that yes that's right with one word of repentance one word of repentance from your heart from your depths of your being depths of your heart my God and let me tell you what repentance is not it's not I'm sorry repentance is never doing it again turning around oh thank you Jesus every head bowed every eye closed tonight [Music]
