with them he was a boy he was a boy that's right when you take the humanity away from Jesus what you done is you've given the devil an excuse to tell you why you as a human cannot overcome that's right I'm going to tell you I'm going to give you scripture right now that may blow some of your mind but the Bible said that Jesus and please I hope y'all have learned by now I prefer the Hebrew word yua don't be confused by that that was his original name and that's my preference and I'm preaching and that's like how I like to say it so don't get upset but listen when yesu was a little boy the Bible said in this scripture I never understood it but he had to learn obedience yes wow by what by the things he suffered wow your suffering is not to destroy you it's to make you obedient that's that's going to shut that light the out of your mind cuz you can argue with this it's the scriptures let's go to Romans 6 13 and 14 and I've got to get out of here we got to end this thing let me tell you something you buch of tongue talkers and I'm one of you but until you get enough power to not just speak in tongues but to watch what you say and how you say it you didn't look hoost oh I got new animal yes that's why the animal tells you you're addicted and you believe it the animal nature and you tells you it's all about you oh yeah survive or be defeated when the word of God tells you to be defeated so you can survive what El are you using on I can't afford to pay my time you better grow some ears baby better grow some ears see what you're saying is you are your own provider but every time you reach in and take that $10 bill that belongs to him you are overcoming your own godhood and say I need you Lord come on something happened to me yesterday and I'm closing I've said that about seven times right it's intention y'all know that nothing Hallelujah something happened yesterday and I want to share this with you we was at over at Diamond Head enjoying our Sabbath day yesterday and resting relaxing clousing some of the estate sales and just enjoying time together as a family and I was just in another world I was with my Sabbath day I was happy I was resting didn't have to go fight with a bunch of mad customers at the car lot and all that just nobody threatening to blow me up because their BL quit working and you know all that you know I'm just thankful as I can be and suddenly lo and behold in Diamond Head the blue lights come on right behind y back down there Corner over there and these blue lights come on and there was something come up in me uh that old animal that old flesh cop pulled me over he walked up to the door and I wasn't I wasn't rude I wasn't ugly and I was I was snippy y snippy halfway between rud [Laughter] I picked up my little cell phone while he was like I didn't care like I was reading my Facebook page I was that little stiff I said come I said well why don't you pull me over sir sir you R first two stop signs I said I'm have sing I I stop sign ick see we got three and Grace K in and he didn't give me no ticket let me go and my wife lit into me for 30 minutes and ruined my Sabbath [Laughter] day she basically said I'm disappointed in you she said that was the law that you preach about to everybody else that was the law Authority but you see Authority that little animal mhm that that little I'm I don't that little animal that it's all about you why you but you see I have broke the law and my wife lit into me and said to me now the thing is he tried to give me a ticket for something else and I knew the law and I knew the officer was wrong about something he tried to give me a ticket about my driver's license being from Louisiana and I knew the law cuz I read the law and I told him what the law said and of course he admitted I was right about that and so my pride kicked in and look bless God I know more than the policeman knows see that's you know what that is the pride of life and do you know when my wife got through with me I repented to the Lord in my heart and I said take that out of me Lord why I want to be overcome I want to love your law I want to love everything that you doing to make me a better man I want to be more like you that's why I love my enemies they point out the things in me that I refuse to see when they run me down there must be a little bit of Truth to what they say so I listen to my own enemies why because God's trying to make you what he wants you to be amen and over an overc in closing Romans 6 and verse 13 and I really am closing this time only because I'm out of breath and I'm out of strength let's read first John I'm sorry Romans 61 [Music] 13-4 don't yield your members as instruments of unrighteousness Unto sin now hold on I thought the preacher said I couldn't help but sin but I have a Biblical command do not yield to the unrighteousness of sin but yield yourselves under the power of the Holy Ghost which is God as those that are alive from the dead see when you were an animal you were dead but you're you you don't have an excuse anymore you're not an animal anymore anybody ever heard of ladies going through the change of life some of you need to go through the change of that old animal to a Son of God you need to let him send obstacles into your life that will test you and see how far you are in that change I hope you heard that yes you send enemies and you're trying to rebuke the devil and God is want you to praise him right your enemies are your friends when they run you down when they talk about you your response to that is a uh you know there's a plum line anybody know what a plum line is a plum line will tell you well what is a plum line D it tells you something exactly that's the word I'm looking for god's got a plum line that he's expecting you to line up to and only the Overcomers are going to measure up to the plum brother V you make it sound hard it is hard unless you got somebody living inside of you that can make it easy it ain't hard living for the Lord my grandmother sister Carol always said these words if you live for God easy it's going to be hard but if you live for God hard it's going to be easy Hallelujah let God live for God through you Hallelujah now the next verse let's read verse 14 I love this verse for sin shall not have power over you all right amen that's Undercovers if sin's got power over you you're a what underc you're an overc you're under sin for you are not under the law but under grace what does this mean oh it's a beautiful thing if you're obeying the law of God then you're not obeying the law of the Flesh and you're not under the law of the flesh but you're under the gra of God which gives you power over the flesh the Bible said he that walth after the spirit and not after the flesh shall be called the sons of God what is your goal today what is your goal today I want to tell you something I read a book years ago called The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren when I got through reading that book I said Lord something's still missing I want to tell you the purpose of your life today it is to be transformed from an animal from an underc to an overcomer and I'll read to you what the scripture says Ecclesiastes 12 and 13 put it on the scripture brother on the screen EES I'm going to show you the purpose of how many know why do you wake up every day why do you folks go out to work every day and wake up at 6 and and and come home dog tired and why do you why do you come to church every Sunday even when you don't feel like it and why do you do this and why do you do that what's the purpose of life people that don't figure out what I'm fixing to tell you have to take drugs they have to lose their minds because there's no purpose in their life but when you understand Ecclesiastes 12 and 13 brother eclesiastes 123 thank you Lord I want to show you your purpose and when you figure this purpose out you'll never again even need to be encouraged you can walk knowing that you're going through the change let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter fear God and keep his Commandments for this is the whole duty of man this is what you were born to become do you know when I was about 6 years old I went in a grocery store with M Temple my foster mother and I stole a chocolate bunny rabbit out of that store I want to ask yall a question or Tau me how to do that where did I learn that because I was born an animal get get take never give that's God Satan is GI God is giil when you find yourself becoming a taker you're still an animal but the purpose of
