THE SEVENTH TEMPLE MINISTRY
A Doctrinal Treatise from the Desk of the Founding Apostolic Overseer
First Harvest Ministries International
Issued by: Rev. John Shane Vaughn
Office: Founding Apostolic Overseer, FHMI
Date of Declaration: December 2025
PREAMBLE
For many years, First Harvest Ministries International and like-minded Spirit-filled, Torah-pursuant assemblies
have referred to ourselves as "The Third Temple Ministry" - a designation intended to refute the necessity for
any future physical temple structure in the land of Judah. Our original numbering followed this progression:
1. The Tabernacle of Moses
2. Solomon's Temple
3. The Living Temple of Living Stones
While this teaching was sound in its theological conclusion - that WE are the Temple of the living Elohim - the
numerical designation was incomplete. It failed to account for the full biblical record of YAHWEH's dwelling
places among His people.
In recent weeks, during our LIVE sermon series "Construction Continues: The Wonder of It All," we
acknowledged this deficiency and temporarily adjusted our terminology to "The Fifth Temple Ministry,"
adding Herod's Temple and Zerubbabel's Temple to our count.
Yet something remained unsettled in my spirit.
The number five did not resonate with the patterns of Scripture. It did not carry the weight of divine completion.
As one attuned to biblical numerology through decades of study, I sensed there was more to be revealed.
Now I understand why.
This treatise serves to correct, clarify, and permanently establish our doctrinal position. Let it be known
throughout all congregations of FHMI and to all who hold to the Hebrew Roots of our faith:
We are THE SEVENTH TEMPLE MINISTRY.
THE COMPLETE BIBLICAL RECORD: Seven Temples
A careful examination of Scripture reveals not three, not five, but six physical dwelling places constructed by
human hands before the advent of the Living Temple. They are as follows:
1. THE TABERNACLE OF MOSES (c. 1446 BCE)
Exodus 40:33-34
"So Moses finished the work. Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of YAHWEH filled
the tabernacle."
The portable sanctuary constructed in the wilderness according to the heavenly pattern shown to Moses on
Mount Sinai. This was the first earthly dwelling place where YAHWEH chose to manifest His presence among
Israel.
2. THE TABERNACLE AT SHILOH (c. 1400 BCE)
Joshua 18:1
"And the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the
Tabernacle of the congregation there."
When Israel entered the Promised Land under Joshua, the Tabernacle was established at Shiloh, where it
remained for approximately 369 years. This was not merely a relocation but a distinct era - Shiloh became the
spiritual center of the nation and the place where young Samuel heard the voice of YAHWEH.
3. THE TENT OF DAVID (c. 1000 BCE)
2 Samuel 6:17
"And they brought in the ark of YAHWEH, and set it in its place, in the midst of the tabernacle that David
had pitched for it."
When David brought the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem, he did not restore it to the Mosaic Tabernacle
(which remained at Gibeon). Instead, he erected a new tent - David's Tabernacle - a structure distinguished by
unprecedented access to YAHWEH's presence, continual worship, and the absence of the veil. This tent
prophetically foreshadowed the New Covenant access we now enjoy.
4. SOLOMON'S TEMPLE (c. 966-586 BCE)
1 Kings 8:10-11
"And it came to pass, when the priests came out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of
YAHWEH, so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of YAHWEH had
filled the house of YAHWEH."
The magnificent Temple built by Solomon according to the plans David received from YAHWEH. This
structure stood for approximately 380 years before its destruction by Nebuchadnezzar and the Babylonian
forces in 586 BCE.
5. ZERUBBABEL'S TEMPLE (c. 516 BCE - 19 BCE)
Ezra 6:14-15
"And the elders of the Jews built, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and
Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they built, and finished it, according to the commandment of the Elohim of
Israel... And this house was finished on the third day of the month Adar, which was in the sixth year of the
reign of Darius the king."
Often called "Ezra's Temple" or the Second Temple, this structure was built by the returning exiles under the
leadership of Zerubbabel the governor and Joshua the high priest. Though less glorious than Solomon's Temple
in outward appearance, it served as YAHWEH's dwelling place for five centuries.
6. HEROD'S TEMPLE (c. 19 BCE - 70 CE)
John 2:20
"Then said the Judeans, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and will you rear it up in three
days?"
Herod the Great's massive renovation and expansion of Zerubbabel's Temple was so extensive that it
constituted, in practical terms, a new structure. This was the Temple in which Yahshua taught, from which He
drove out the moneychangers, and whose destruction He prophesied. It was destroyed by the Romans in 70 CE,
fulfilling His words that not one stone would be left upon another.
THE SIGNIFICANCE OF SIX
With Herod's Temple, we arrive at six temples built by human hands.
The number six in Scripture is consistently associated with MAN - his labor, his limitations, and his
incompleteness apart from YAHWEH:
Man was created on the sixth day (Genesis 1:26-31)
Man is commanded to labor for six days (Exodus 20:9)
The number of the beast is 666 - the fullness of human rebellion (Revelation 13:18)
Hebrew slaves served for six years before release (Exodus 21:2)
Six represents humanity's best efforts - noble, sometimes magnificent, but ultimately insufficient.
SIX temples of stone and gold. SIX attempts by man to create a dwelling for the Almighty. SIX structures
that would all eventually crumble, burn, or be torn down.
And then Stephen, filled with the Holy Spirit, declared the verdict on all such human endeavors:
ACTS 7:48-50
"Howbeit the Most High dwells not in temples made with hands; as says the prophet, Heaven is my throne,
and earth is my footstool: what house will you build me? says YAHWEH: or what is the place of my rest?
Has not my hand made all these things?"
Stephen's words serve as the divine punctuation mark at the end of the sixth temple era. Man's building
program was complete - and it was insufficient. The six temples of human construction had served their
purpose as shadows, as types, as teaching tools pointing toward something greater.
THE SEVENTH TEMPLE: Divine Completion
7. THE LIVING TEMPLE OF LIVING STONES (30 CE - Eternity)
After six temples built by human hands, YAHWEH Himself began construction on the Seventh Temple - one
not made with hands, not constructed of stone and timber, but composed of living stones quickened by His
Spirit.
1 Peter 2:5
"You also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual
sacrifices, acceptable to YAHWEH through Yahshua Messiah."
1 Corinthians 3:16
"Know you not that you are the temple of YAHWEH, and that the Spirit of YAHWEH dwells in you?"
Ephesians 2:19-22
"Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the
household of YAHWEH; and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Yahshua Messiah
himself being the chief corner stone; in whom all the building fitly framed together grows unto a holy temple
in YAHWEH: in whom you also are built together for a habitation of YAHWEH through the Spirit."
The number seven in Scripture represents:
Divine completion (YAHWEH rested on the seventh day)
Covenant perfection (seven-fold covenant promises)
Sacred wholeness (seven Spirits before the throne)
Eternal establishment (the seventh millennium, the Sabbath rest)
The Living Temple is the SEVENTH - the final, the complete, the eternal dwelling place of YAHWEH among
His people. There will be no eighth temple, for seven is the number of completion. This Temple will never be
destroyed, never be replaced, never become obsolete.
THEOLOGICAL IMPLICATIONS
1. NO FUTURE PHYSICAL TEMPLE IS NECESSARY OR PROPHESIED
Those who teach that a "Third Temple" must be built in Jerusalem before Messiah's return have misunderstood
both the count and the purpose. We ARE the Temple. The construction continues daily as YAHWEH adds living
stones to His spiritual house.
2. THE PROGRESSION WAS ALWAYS POINTING TO US
Each previous temple served as a shadow and type:
Moses' Tabernacle: portable, journeying with the people
Shiloh: established in the land, a place of learning
David's Tent: open access, continual worship, no veil
Solomon's Temple: glory and magnificence
Zerubbabel's Temple: restoration after exile
Herod's Temple: outward grandeur masking inward corruption
All of these find their fulfillment and perfection in the Living Temple.
3. SIX REPRESENTS THE COMPLETION OF HUMAN EFFORT
Man built six temples. Man's work is done. Now YAHWEH builds, and what He builds shall stand forever.
4. SEVEN REPRESENTS YAHWEH'S FINISHED WORK
We are not building this Temple - YAHWEH is. We are not constructing - we are being constructed. We are the
living stones, and He is the Master Builder.
OFFICIAL DECLARATION
BE IT RESOLVED forthwith that First Harvest Ministries International, its congregations, affiliates, and all
who align with our doctrinal positions, shall understand and identify ourselves as:
THE SEVENTH TEMPLE MINISTRY
We declare that:
1. The Living Temple composed of Spirit-filled, Torah-pursuant believers is the Seventh Temple in the
biblical progression of YAHWEH's dwelling places.
2. The six physical temples built by human hands have served their purpose and passed away, represented
fittingly by the number of man.
3. The Seventh Temple, built by YAHWEH Himself of living stones, represents divine completion and shall
endure eternally.
4. No future physical temple is necessary, expected, or prophesied - for WE are the Temple of the Living
Elohim.
5. The terminology "Third Temple" as applied to any future physical structure is both numerically inaccurate
and theologically misguided.
CONCLUSION
What began as an unsettled feeling - a number that did not sit well in my spirit - has resolved into profound
confirmation. YAHWEH does nothing by accident. The progression from six to seven is not merely numerical;
it is theological, prophetic, and deeply significant.
We are not an afterthought. We are not a temporary solution. We are the Seventh Temple - the culmination of
YAHWEH's dwelling-place plan from eternity past.
Six temples fell or were destroyed.
The Seventh stands forever.
We are that Temple.
"For we are laborers together with YAHWEH: you are YAHWEH's husbandry, you are YAHWEH's building."

Summary
This doctrinal treatise examines the biblical concept of the “seventh temple,” arguing that the ultimate temple of Yahweh is not a physical building but the spiritual body of believers in whom His presence dwells. Drawing from Ezekiel’s temple vision and New Testament teachings about the living temple, the work presents the remnant community as the vessel through which Yahweh manifests His presence and authority in the earth.
