doing good how are you doing it's wonderful to meet you wonderful to meet you I'm uh Michael Jenkins I'm a journalism student at Western well good for you where's that at uh it's in Bowling Green Kentucky okay okay an hour north of Nashville awesome well you're living up in God's country that's good well that's wonderful thank you for the invitation I'm sorry that I'm a couple of minutes late today you're fine thanks again for for agreeing to do this it's (00:37) going to help me out a whole lot excellent I look forward to speaking to you I'm I I have uh I have uh 55 minutes available so awesome that's I'm ready when you are awesome um Soh first off if you want mind just like tell me a little bit about yourself um sure where you're located and stuff uh I'm Pastor Shane Von and we just outside of New Orleans in a little small Mississippi town called uh Waveland it's actually exactly where herane Katrina directly hit in 2005 and wiped it off the map but we're back on the map now and um we have a u (01:18) we have an International Church that U was established uh what I believe super naturally right after the Donald Trump election in 2020 um right after that I had a viral video that uh had 10 million views in less than 24 hours and the title of it was what happens if Donald Trump does not concede the election and so from that it catapulted us um overnight and so uh we we buil a large following after that and so that's how we got to be so well known very cool very cool and I'm married to a beautiful wife I have three (02:02) wonderful sons and four grandchildren awesome great great um so first question I have um previously you've prophesied over former president Trump yes sure and in your prophecy uh you describe Trump as a leader chosen by God correct and uh just kind of wondering what spiritual or biblical parallels you draw from this and then if there's scripture uh you believe AB backs that up a great question thank you for for asking it um so before I can answer it uh I need to build a little theological framework we are a Christian church but (02:45) we're not your typical Christian Church okay our faith is somewhere between Judaism and Christianity okay um meaning uh we are Christians but we adhere to both the Old Testament and the New Testament so a lot of our theology about Donald Trump comes from a basic prophetic principle that we believe in that's called the principle of prophetic Duality we believe that prophecies giving in the Old Testament many times repeat themselves in fulfillment over and over now if the church chur of Jesus Christ yua is the house of Israel which is then (03:37) we believe that anything that happened in Old Testament Israel will repeat itself in the New Testament so if you don't understand that framework how we think then you would of course be thrown off when we say that Donald Trump is a messiah that really set the internet on fire whenever said that um but the reason is and I don't mean this ugly it's going to come out that way but it's it's it's just ignorance and I don't mean ignorance in a bad way but ignorance in how we think okay the word Messiah it simply means anointed that's (04:20) it that's all Messiah means and King David was the Messiah for the nation of Israel in other words he delivered Israel from the giant Philistines and we believe that our nation is surrounded by Giants right now socialism communism all of the We Believe those are giants that are surrounding Israel and that's where a problem comes in because America we believe in our church is end time Israel we believe all the Lost tribes migrated to America Great Britain so therefore we see a parall in the Old Testament between (05:05) America and the Giants we we see the same story repeating itself so therefore America needs a savior a messiah not a soul savior not an eternal life savior not a messiah for our salvation but for our nation and so I was very misunderstood when I made that statement you know oh he's saying you know Donald Trump is God he's Jesus Christ oh contr not at all I'm speaking politically and nationally so to answer the question real quickly there is an Old Testament scripture you ask for scripture 2 Kings 14 26- 29 and in those scriptures you will find (05:51) a story about when Israel was about to go under it was at the last vestiges of existence why they had allowed in foreigners they had allowed in immigrants to come in and though these people literally turned Israel from their culture their original identity and the Israelites were turning from their faith and then the Bible says that there was no helper for Israel there was no one no person no one person that could help Israel until Yahweh God raised up a man by the name of jeroboam jeroboam went to war for Israel (06:39) and was their Messiah he delivered them so hopefully that five minute explanation brings you into the how we see the Bible for sure for sure thank you yes sir um so the next one that I have um you've mentioned prophecies about Trump returning to power uh after he lost in the 2020 election correct um so can you clarify like your vision of that and then um how do you interpret those events that have Cur occurred since then what are you asking me specifically we didn't prophesy he would win in 2020 is that what you're we never (07:15) prophesied that his return to power afterwards okay okay gotta I just wanted to clarify that now of course we hoped he would win but we never did prophesy that but right after he lost the next day I went on this microphone and declared to the world the lion will Roar in 24 and that has sort of been our motto and our framework here everyone thought I was crazy but once again here we are in 24 and no one thought this man would survive and ever get the nomination so what do I base that on first of all the scriptures I just gave you I base it on (07:51) a prophecy from those scriptures that Israel which we believe is America we don't believe that the land of is Israel is the Israel of the Bible We Believe those lost tribes migrated here and that end time Israel is on the precipice of becoming a total different Nation than our Founders knew and we believe the nation needs a deliverer and so therefore I know that God will always raise up a man to save his people so there was a prophecy given by Kim Clement four years before Donald Trump ever decided to run for the presidency (08:34) now Kim Clement is the man that prophesied Hurricane Katrina six months before it happened in detail he prophesied New Orleans New Orleans soon the graves will rise above the water he prophesied that and so before years before Trump ever decided to run he prophesied and said these words the next president of the United States of America will be a man named Donald and that President will serve two terms now what he failed to tell us is that those I mean we just it we never entered our minds that those two terms might not (09:15) be consecutive in other words that was just not something any of us put into the equation right so therefore immediately when when I won't say it was stolen but when he lost in 2020 we knew we had that prophetic word from the Lord we knew that he's going to serve two terms and nothing's going to stop it so therefore we begin to declare the scriptures from First Kings and correlating that with Kim Clement's prophecy thank you um the next one I have um sorry trying to get my notes by the way are you okay with me sharing (10:02) this interview oh yeah that's fine yeah um I I meant to tell you I'm recording this as well but it's it's just for uh transcribing later no problem yeah you can absolutely share do what you need to do thank you sir yes sir um so in the wake of like we were just talking about Trump you know not uh winning the 20120 election or you know correct and not maintaining power afterwards um how do you address this in you're teaching and sermons and do you see these prophecies as delayed rather than incorrect I guess we kind of just (10:35) answered that sure we just answered that yes sir we do believe it's delayed yes sir yeah U but but we also feel like uh the possibility of Donald Trump at this moment still being in the running for the White House two years ago three years ago every pundit every talking head yeah laughed at the very idea that he would ever be this close to the White House again it is humanly impossible it is beyond explanation and then to survive two assassination attempts so yeah we believe we're standing on good ground gotcha (11:16) cool um and then this one we also kind of just answered but um just new prophecies or Revelations uh concerning Donald Trump in the 2024 election um and then if if you have any other predictions Beyond or about his next U yes sir I I believe that Donald Trump has been called by Yahweh to to stay the hand of judgment on America it's coming America will face the consequences of her sin it's coming but we do believe that every time Yahweh the god of the Bible told Israel I'm going to destroy you if you don't repent yet he would (12:01) always raise up a man to stay his hand and we believe now not because Donald Trump is righteous because he's not not because Donald Trump is perfect because God knows he's not yeah but because of God's promises he's doing it for his own sake not for Donald Trump say so going forward we believe that Donald Trump when elected will Stave off a lot of what we believe to be socialist uh laws Stave off a lot of what we believe uh uh globalism we believe he'll stay that for a while and and hopefully my friend he'll raise up a an heir to the throne (12:47) if you will that will carry that uh 12 years instead of four that that's our hope um so my last question um is about like the idea of Christian nationalism okay um so Christian nationalism promotes the idea of America as a fundamentally Christian Nation yes sir with policies that are shaped by the Bible and its principles um so how do you view uh the relationship between prophecy the church and the nation's political landscape well that is a great question thank you boy you got good questions I like um so Christian (13:27) nationalism sadly is a term that they throw out for all of us that happen to believe in the truth about America right um all one has to do is go to any of our headquarter buildings in Washington DC you'll either find Moses holding the Ten Commandments or you'll find the children of Israel crossing the Red Sea you'll find Benjamin Franklin calling for prayer to to the Christian God every morning in the Senate Chapel of the House of represent atives rather um there is anyone that denies that the first governing document of this nation (14:07) the magnacarta I'm sorry not the Magna Carta the Mayflower Compact our first governing document was to advance it says at the very top to advance the cause of Christ these things are irrefutable and only the fool would try to come against any of that so we believe that Christian nationalism was what America was in her beginning and and we believe that we would be uh insular in our duties to not try and preserve a nation that was handed to us from our founding fathers that was built according to George Washington on the (14:48) very Foundation of religious morality and George Washington when they went to inaugurate the man they did not give him a Bible for his inauguration ation he asked for one and when they brought it to him he turned it open ironically to Genesis 49 and put his hand right there very few people know why he did that but in those days those men knew what Genesis 49 was it was the prophecy of America in Genesis 49 so U Christian nationalism uh we simply call it originalism of America we believe in originalism and we believe that if this nation ever (15:35) denies the purpose of her birth the freedom the very document my friend that we believe we the people we believe in our Declaration of Independence that we were all created equal which defies the very idea of anything but the god of the Bible creating all men is equal and so that is what we believe and we do believe we have a duty to preserve our inheritance just like if my mother when she passes away and gives me an estate I believe it's my duty to preserve the estate that was given to me and so that is what we (16:18) believe that we are doing um and then you count tou us a little bit uh but do you believe that the church should come play a more dominant role um in kind of shaping American governance uh beyond what it does now and then also like how do you see you or your uh your role in that I do and here's why if you'll go back my friend to the 13 colonies that founded our nation after the 13 tribes of Israel if you go back to those 13 colonies ironically most people don't know this every state or colony had a state sponsored (17:00) church people don't realize the Presbyterian Church the Methodist Church each state had a state sponsored church do you know why that is because every government knows every government knows without religion without religion you cannot have a free Society you would have to have a North Korea you have to have a dictator if you don't have religion the reason governments don't tax churches without the voice of morality without the voice of righteousness in the earth no government can be free they have to become dictatorial because there's no (17:38) ultimate right and wrong so when those 13 colonies met in Philadelphia at the at the Constitutional uh Hall there the the Hall of Liberty when they met there they had one fear that a federal government would create a a federal Church that would restrict the 13 colonies from having their state churches so they made an agreement you leave our religion alone make no law make no law that inhibits our free exercise of our state churches we don't want a federal church but we recognize the value of the church in our society therefore we're not going (18:23) to tax them therefore we're all of the original education in America was from the church we educated the children so do I believe the church could have a more dominant role absolutely because if we don't then the public schools will have a more dominant role and you'll be turning out the kind of children we're turning out today um what's all the questions that I have prepared excellent I just didn't know if there's anything else you wanted to to share about um your ministry or anything I think um thanks for that (18:58) opportunity by the way you I don't know who you're going to be writing for uh I don't know who your audience is it's it's just for I I'm actually G to work use this probably for a couple pieces I'm writing this semester for my just for for a class but uh the pieces could end up in our school newspaper or even in like a local paper okay I'm gonna assume your audience is more liberal I'm just going to assume yes probably is that a safe airation I think that's pretty safe okay um I I wish that liberals would understand when they talk about (19:38) inclusion somehow we get left out of that equation um and I I really believe we're misunderstood our support of Donald Trump we know that Donald Trump is a flawed man we know he has issues we get that but you must include us in the way we understand the holy scriptures and the nation otherwise the Liberals are bigger Hypocrites than they accuse the Church of being you cannot call for inclusion and leave us out we gen genuinely love our nation we wish no ill will on anyone that doesn't agree with the way we see it we don't want to force our religion (20:41) on anyone but we don't want our religion forced out by anyone and what you're seeing the culture War you're seeing my friend if I could just explain this before I go in the culture War here's what you have you have a clash now between the church and the liberal world and when liberalism makes room for our voice there's no Clash but when our voice which has been the voice for hundreds of years in this nation begins to be pushed out of the governance of the nation that's what creates the culture war and so I call on anyone reading your (21:31) article to recognize the value of the voice of the church could you imagine this world with not one Church on a corner somewhere not one place that says hey there must be right and wrong and there has to be an ultimate Giver of that right and wrong thus we have the voice of the church but when you begin to push out our voice and then call US every name in the book book from weird like Tim Waltz calls us from every name in the book like deplorables Obama says we cling to our god when you begin pushing you're not going to win this is an old (22:12) voice We've Got Deep Roots in this nation and so I call on all liberals in America make room in your inclusion for an ancient voice that has stood the test of time that has benefited every Society thank you thank you I appreciate that absolutely thank you for giving me the opportunity yeah just just want to say thanks again yeah it's GNA help me out a whole lot so I hope bye
