(87) The Magician & The Messiah Part 9 2/8/26 - YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQf58Xxluds Transcript: (00:00) And we're going to open our Bibles tonight and continue. And I want to start um I believe we're going to open up in the book of Luke. Make sure I've got my scriptures correct tonight. Um I will be honest with you, I've not had all the time in the world that I normally need to do this subject justice. (00:24) I've been in court all week long. Um, every day I've had to go to court to file new motions and uh uh I tell you I'm getting a I hate to say it, I'm getting a new respect for lawyers. Lord, it's a job. And um anyway, so just been a busy busy busy week, but we're going to trust in the Lord tonight to help us. (00:50) I I want to start by reminding you of a basic concept uh to try to help you understand why we're so focused on this lineage that we're teaching. And whenever you get your next um family report, which should be coming out next month, March, a matter of fact, Sister Jill, it's time now. We've got to get those uh magazines ready. We're going to send you uh in the next magazine, we're going to have an insert and you will be able to take this insert out and put it frame it. (01:31) I recommend you frame it and put it all in your homes. And this is not uh the end of the insert. I'm still working on it because after tonight, we will have to add some more to it. But I'm basically building a family tree and you there it is. You will be able to take this and put it and [clears throat] frame it and put it in your homes uh showing this lineage from the Apostle John all the way to the Apostolic Assembly of First Harvest Ministries. (02:04) So this is just one. It'll be two-sided and you'll be able to I recommend printing the front and the back and framing them and putting them side by side in your homes, especially at our KTC centers. Make sure you hang them there. And this is uh our family tree. It's where we >> Awesome. That is amazing, Apostle. Wow. Ties us back all the way to our apostles. (02:31) >> All the way all the way to John. beautiful >> John and Yesua. So, we'll send those out free of charge when we send out the next magazine, which will be coming out uh before Passover. You'll get it probably about two weeks before Passover. But there's a reason that we're studying this, and I don't want us to forget, we're not just studying this for history lessons. (02:58) We are studying it for identity lessons. Okay? So while we're tracing this historical chain of the faithful remnant, we understand the doctrine that governs this. The name of the doctrine can be found in Luke 12:32. And I'm going to take this verse of scripture and put it on that family tree at the very top because this is the scripture that formulates the doctrine of what we're studying. (03:36) The name of this doctrine is the little block doctrine. Let's read about it in Luke 12 verse 32. This is the very words of the head of our church, the head of the kahal. >> Luke 12:32. >> Apostle, would you like me to read the book of Yahweh or King James version? >> Uh, I haven't seen it in the book of Yahweh. Give us both. (04:02) >> Okay, I got them both ready. Yes, sir. So, the King James version, Luke 12 and 32. Fear not, little flock, for it is your father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. And then the book of Yahweh, Luke 12 and verse 32, do not be afraid, little flock, for it is your father's righteous pleasure to give you the kingdom. (04:31) >> So let's read it and let that absorb in your spirit. Fear not, little flock. For it is the Father's good pleasure to give you the government. Fear not, little flock. Underline that word little flock. And as Christians, this diabolically opposes every concept we were ever taught in Christianity. We were never taught about a little flock. (05:15) We were taught to reach the world. Worldwide revival. We were taught, let's go after all the sinners and build a church. We were never taught the doctrine of the little flock. But according to Yesua, it is to the little flock that the government will be given. And you have to get that in your mind because it goes against everything. (05:49) Here's what he said. Fear not because the little flock will have many reasons to fear. She'll be persecuted. You're going to see that in tonight's lesson. She's going to be marginalized from the main church. She's going to look like a failure because she's such a little flock. He said, "Fear not." Little means small in number. (06:24) It's not a mega church. It's not a mass movement. And that is what's wrong with so many of our thinking. We was taught to believe for a mass revival, a mass movement. We were taught that when God at the last days there's going to be a great outpouring of the spirit and that they were going to come in from Hollywood and and everybody and that is why the church is so handicapped today. (06:58) We cannot accept the little flock doctrine. We cannot grasp it. It defies Christianity and our thinking. In our thinking, it's our duty to go get everybody saved. But Yeshua said it's the father's good pleasure to give the government to a little flock. Notice the word flock in that verse. A flock is not scattered. (07:35) >> [laughter] >> Listen, please listen to his words. He chose them carefully. This little flock is people that have gathered together under the voice of the shepherd. They are not doing their own thing. They are not grazing all over the world. A flock flows together to the oil, the wheat, and the wine. (08:05) He said, "Fear not, you little people that have decided to gather together under one banner under one voice and be persecuted for doing so." Fear not, little flock, because the future rulership of planet earth is being given to a gathered people in a small number. That's the doctrine of the little flock. Now, this is the truth that most Christians refuse to accept. (08:44) Yahweh is not trying to save the world right now. If you do not get that out of your mind, you will always look around and wonder why more people are not among us. You will always wonder where are the more because in your mind Yahweh is trying to save the world right now. Nothing could be further from the truth. (09:17) You have to go from a big church mentality to a little flock. And it's not easy. It goes against what we call success. He is only calling a few in this hour. And you'll be surprised how hard it is for you to grasp that. He's only calling a little flock to be trained to rule and teach the world later. This means that right now is not the day of salvation. (09:56) How many's been taught today is the day of salvation? Anybody? I was too until I studied it for myself and found out that that was a direct quote from the prophet Isaiah that said this is a day of salvation. They took the word uh and changed it to the as of this is the day. There has been many days of salvation and this is only one of many. (10:25) There's another day of salvation coming called the last great day. Hallelujah. Amen. Amen. Remember, the age that we're in right now is a selective age. It is not an inclusive age. You're hearing that word inclusive all over society. There is one place that is not inclusive. Okay, husbands and wives, listen to me. There's one part of your life that's not inclusive. Can we agree to that? Amen. (11:08) There's only room for two, right? In certain places, right? Okay. The father has a bride there. That's not an inclusive relationship. You have to be called for it and chosen for it. You cannot just jump in there. You cannot just be included because you felt a few chill bumps go up and down your spine. You are called as a lost tribe member as a remnant. (11:36) Only the remnant is being called in this hour because the assembly, the apostolic assembly is a training body. It's not a mass conversion movement. Christianity says God's trying to save everyone right now. But the truth is Yahweh is calling a few now and the rest will all come later. Christianity says the church should be growing massively, but the apostolic assembly, the Nazarines have always been small. (12:17) Christianity says numbers validate truth but numbers indicate compromise. The Christian church says big means blessed but the truth says small means selected. This little flock are the future rulers. They're not just believers. They're the future rulers. This little flock is not people who just believed the right thing. (12:48) They are being trained to become kings and priests of the seventh temple under the high priest, the Melchzdc high priest, Yeshua, the Messiah, to rule the nations in the world tomorrow. Fear not, little flock. It is your father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. And that's why Revelation says chapter 5 and verse 10. (13:23) If you want to turn there quickly, many of you know it by heart after five years of my preaching. Revelation 5 and 10. and he has made us unto our God, kings and priests. And we are not going to heaven, but we're going to reign on the earth. Now, most of Christianity teaches that the whole body is the church, the bride. But that's false. (13:54) The bride or the eklesia is the instrument that Yahweh is using right now to prepare the rulers of his kingdom. Listen to that and let me repeat it. The kahal, the eklesia, the apostolic assembly is the tool with five fingers on it. If you add Yesua [laughter] and Yahweh to the five fingers, you come up with that number seven. (14:28) And that's the number that is governing those that are in training until they come into the maturity of the faith for their job description. Yahweh is using that little flock and then the government placed over that little flock to prepare you for rulership in the kingdom, not to convert the world because they're coming during the millennial reign and at the great white throne judgment. (15:04) Here's what the brother of Yesua said in the book of James chapter 1 and verse 8. Here's what he said about that little flock. If you'll read that, Elder. James 1:18. >> Amen. 18 or or eight. >> 18. >> Yes, sir. Of his own will begot he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures. (15:38) >> Who is we that we should be? the little flock. We are the first fruits of his creatures. My God, that's powerful. We are the first fruit of his creatures. Who are his creatures? Everyone that's not in the little flock. They're all his. He's going to get them all. But he's going to do it through the little flock. (16:10) The first fruit comes before the main harvest. The little flock is the advanced team. And that little flock is always persecuted, divided, and attacked. But if you're part of the assembly, you will be misunderstood, rejected, and maligned. But here's what Yesua had to tell you tonight. Those of you in that little flock in the book of John, chapter 15, verse 18 and 19, here's what Yeshua said to every one of you. (16:48) Amen. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. And if you are of the world, the world would love his own. But because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. >> Oh, hallelujah. >> Therefore, the world hateth you. >> Because I chose you out of. That word eklesia means out of. (17:16) I have eklesiaed you. You are no longer part of my creatures, but you are now part of my jewels. my sigula. You are now a special peculiar treasure unto me. Many of you don't know what the word sigula actually means. It's it means the king's personal treasure. A king has great treasures, but those treasures belong to the crown. (17:59) the institution of a kingdom. But the king has a portion of those treasures that are his. They don't belong to the crown. They belong to him. That's the peculiar treasure, the sigula treasure. And and and that's the queen of England. All of those castles are not hers. [clears throat] Buckingham Palace is not hers. (18:34) But but Wind No. And Windsor is not hers. I don't believe unless I'm mistaken on that. But I believe that Balmoral and Hollywood is hers. Special treasures. And where did she want to die? When she got ready to die, she wanted to die, I believe, at Balmoral, if memory serves. And the special treasure every one of. (19:03) Now, does that not mean she don't love all of the castles? Absolutely. But those were special to her heart. And the reason I'm opening with this tonight because I want you to look back over all of these movements. They were always small in number. They were always special to Yahweh. And that is where we pick up tonight. (19:29) Tonight we go to the year 1170. And we just left the pasaginis. I taught you last week on those pasini people and when we ended I told you I would introduce you to the ones that took the petal from them and wore the crown of truth and that group of people started with a man it always starts with a man every movement starts with a man whether it's a whether it's Ufa Tonight I want to introduce you to the apostle of the next movement after the pasinies. (20:15) His name Peter Waldo. Peter Waldo was born in 1140 about the time [clears throat] that the pasaginis disappear from history. He was born >> [clears throat] >> in I'm sorry not 1140 1170 [clears throat] in Lion France L yo N he was a very wealthy merchant his name was Peter Waldo his uh name in French is Pierre Valdes but it's pronounced Peter Waldo in our language he had a spiritual awakening in his young life and he was told that if he would give away all of his wealth and take care of the poor that God would bless him. So he (21:15) went home, he liquidated everything. He enrolled his daughters in the convent. Now at this time he is part of the institutional church, but that's all about to change. He enrolls his daughters in a convent, sells everything they own, and begins feeding the poor. Shortly thereafter, he translated the Bible into the Italian language and he began preaching repentance and a return to apostolic Christianity. (21:57) He started gathering a small following of about 300 people. They were known in in France and Italy as the poor men of lion l yo n. Now, initially, Waldo sought the approval of the Catholic Church that he was a member of. Yahweh always raises men up in the institution only to bring them out. And that's what happened to Peter Waldo at the council of Verona in 1184. (22:48) In 1184, Pope Lucius III at the Council of Verona issued a decree called AD abolindum. Ab dam. And what that did, it condemned Peter Waldo for his message of repentance. And immediately immediately when he did that, the Waldensians, his followers, his cult, if you will, they were forced to go underground [clears throat] and begin preaching the truth of the apostolic gospel. (23:39) They begin to teach faithfully a return to the Sabbath. Now there was a name for this group of people besides the Waldenians and the name was Insabati. I ns a bb a ti insabati. That's how they were referred to as the insabatis. They were named for their sabbathkeeping. Now there was a historian by the name of Gee Gui and he wrote for centuries evangelical bodies especially the Waldensians were called insabati because of their seventh day Sabbathkeeping. (24:34) Now Bernard Gee was the famous Dominican inquisitor. His manual for inquisitors documents what the Waldenians actually believe. So we do have a document you can get it by Bernard Gee and he wrote in that manual what the Waldenians believed. He tells us they were called in sabati because they were Sabbathke keepers are those that keep the Sabbath. (25:14) Now they moved into the Swiss Alps. Here is a few things that they believed. Tell me if you identify with the Waldenians. Number one, it's written in his manual that the Waldensians were ones that worshiped only one God who is able to help us and not the saints departed and that we ought to keep holy the Sabbath day. (25:57) So there's three doctrines of FHMI and the apostolic assembly that I note in that small sentence there did they were anti- trinity. They believed in only one God who is able to help us and they did not believe that the saints that had departed were alive. They should not be prayed to nor even uh referred to as God. That only one God could help us and it was not the saints. (26:35) And they kept the Sabbath day holy. So far those three doctrines that they received from the pasogenis we still carry today at FHMI. Now, from Ben G's record, here's other things that the Waldenians believe. Number one, they rejected purgatory. Meaning, they didn't believe that people were alive after death. They rejected prayers for the dead. (27:14) Why? Because they believe the dead know nothing. They rejected saint worship. They rejected papal authority. They rejected infant baptism. They re they believed that only Yahweh could forgive sin. And they kept the Sabbath day holy. However, in the 1200s through the 1400s, in those two centuries, the Waldensians scattered and they became a great movement. (27:53) But then around 1400, we lose record of them. The last record we have of them is when the Catholic Church sent their inquisitors, this Benge Gee, Bernard Gee rather, they went to the Swiss mountains and gathered up these Waldensians and killed hundreds of them in one day for not keeping or for keeping the Sabbath day holy. (28:29) That's why Yeshua said, "Fear not, little flock. It is the father's good pleasure to give you the trusted position in the government." Now, the Waldensians were known as barba. They traveled disguised as merchants, peddlers, craftsmen, and pilgrims. They carried portion of scripture. They were so attacked and so hated. (29:05) Listen to what happened. I want everybody to listen. They carried little pamphlets hidden in their clothing and passed them out in secret. >> Hallelujah. Wow. [laughter] >> Sort of like a little toilet ministry. Hallelujah. They took pamplets and hid it in their clothing and they literally passed them out in secret. (29:39) They were a little flock, small but mobile. And somehow they scattered everywhere. And nobody knew who they were. They were disguised as merchants, peddlers, craftsmen, and pilgrim. They were persecuted, but unstoppable. As a matter of fact, by 1310, the Waldensians had established themselves. Now, I want you to listen to me tonight because some of you, you don't have your spiritual ears open, but I'm gonna try to open them now. (30:12) a hundred years after they started. We have records of their pamphlets and their ministry in southern France, northern Italy, Austria, Lombardi, Bohemia, Moravia, North Germany, Theia, Brandenburgg, Poland, and Lithuania, Leavonia. These people's pamphlets have been found in those places. (30:47) History has found the writings of the Waldenians, what they believed in those places. And this is long before Zoom. And I'm looking tonight at a group of people that I can truly say are missionaries hidden as merchants, peddlers, craftsman, and pilgrim in the land you live in. And you, my beloved brother and sister, this is your heritage. (31:17) >> Amen. >> Hallelujah. >> Hallelujah. >> Yeah. >> Glory, glory, glory, glory. May the father awaken us to the little flock. Now in 1310, an interesting thing is happening. About the time the Waldenians are getting ready to pass away from the scene. History picks up on another group of people in Bohemia. This is a testimony by Armmitage in his book history of the Baptist page 313. (32:03) He says in 1310, 200 years before Luther, the Bohemian Brethren constituted 14th of the population of Bohemia. Now watch this. According to Armatage, they were in contact with the Waldensians who were in Austria, the Swiss mountains, Lombardi, North Germany, Theia, Brandenburgg, Moravia. (32:44) There's a group of people in Bohemia that have been in contact with the Waldenians around 1310 and took over a quarter of Bohemia. Now 25% of an entire nation in 1310 rejected Rome and embraced wall densian teaching. And yet compared to Rome, that was still a little flop. Now, this is where it gets very interesting. (33:21) I'm going to show you now the passing of the Petalone from Peter Waldo and his followers. Now that's going to pass to a group of people in Bohemia in 1460. Something happens that proves a direct succession from Peter Waldo. We have a quote here that tells us a Waldenian bishop went to Bohemia and ordained the first bishop of the Bohemian brethren. (34:08) Now what is this? This is Peter Waldo's mantle, his petal. By the laying on of hands of ordination, they go to the Bohemian brethren and ordain them to carry this truth of Peter Waldo. Now, Peter Waldo is carrying the truth of Uffula and Audius and on down the line. It's it's not Peter's message, but he was the apostle that dug that work out. (34:44) And now he is transferring, his mantle, his petal to the Bohemian brethren. Now this is documented history. There was a literal physical transfer of authority. That is what ordination is. It's why it's so important. That's why we're not to lay hands suddenly on any man. The ordination that comes from these hands is the transferring of the work that was entrusted to me. (35:22) It is now entrusted into elders and ministers that will wear the petal that will be part of the little flock to carry it forward. And this is exactly what happened. Now the Bohemian brethren were called unus which means the unity of brethren. They were founded in 1457. And if you read history we start losing sight of the Waldenians when the Bohemian brethren rise. (36:07) But here is the man that was ordained by Peter Waldo's ministers and elders. And the man's name was Jan J an Hus. That man was given the petal. The chain of ordination is documented. The Walden passed it to Jan Hus. I believe you pronounce it John if I'm not mistaken. There were three. Now, now listen to this. This blows my mind. (36:54) Do you know how many there were in the Hassite cult as they they were called the Hussite cult? Followers of John Hus. They called them the Hussites. Do you KNOW HOW MANY OF them there were? It's mind-blowing. There were 300 of them by the 1400s. The Hassites had about 300 people. The Waldenians ordained these bishops into the truth. (37:32) Now, I want to read to you a testimony from the scholar Decideras Arasmus from 1466 to 1536. Here's what he says about those Bohemian brothers, those Hussites. And I'm going to quote Arasmus pointed out how strictly the Bohemian Waldensians kept the seventh day Sabbath. And in his own words, he continues, "Now we hear that among the Bohemian, a new, now y'all listen carefully, a new kind of Judaism is springing up among the Bohemians, the Hussites, called Sabotarianism, who are so superstitious in keeping the Sabbath today that they (38:37) will not remove something that even crosses their eyes. Now, here's what this proves, brothers. In 1170, Peter Waldo founded the Waldenian cult in Lion, France. By 1184, they were condemned at the Council of Verona. By 1310 they had converted 25% of Bohemia. By 1460 they ordained the first bishop John Hus of the Bohemian brethren. (39:15) And then in 1500 Irasmus says they were still keeping the Sabbath. Let me tell you what that boils down to. From Peter Waldo to this moment is 330 years of continuous witness of apostolic truth. The little flock survives for three centuries because of Peter Waldo. Now we move across the world and we go up to the land of Russia. (39:53) Because while the Waldensian movement was spreading through Western and Central Europe, there was a parallel witness emerging in Russia. We already know Russia is where the lost tribes those caucus mountain. Now, this gives us independent confirmation that Sabbathkeeping Christianity was not invented a few hundred years ago, but it existed before Luther. (40:27) The little flock was everywhere, but they were hidden. And that group of people in Russia is known if you want to follow the family tree as the strianaki. The struggle nikki. The struggle niki. The struggle niki. S t r i g o l n i ki. The struggle Nikki. They appeared in the city of Nogarod in the middle 14th century around the same time as these Bohemian brethren. (41:10) They rejected Russian Orthodox Christianity. They denied the Orthodox rituals. And how did this reach Russia? Now, here's the question. How did this reach Russia? By Peter Waldo. The Waldensians were scattered through Poland, Lithuania, Sloavonia, Bulgaria, Leavonia, Albania, Sashia, and those countries are now part of the Russian Empire. (41:44) The trade route connected Western Europe to the Baltic. And the Waldenian missionaries traveled as merchants, dropping off their little pamphlets in Russia. Oh hallelujah. Oh hallelujah. Hallelujah. Now in 1471 this little group in Nogarod were called Judaizers. What did they believe? Listen carefully. We have the records. (42:20) We know what they believe. Number one, the seventh day Sabbath. Number two, they rejected the Trinity. Number three, they rejected the Catholic icons. Number four, they ate clean and unclean or they did not eat unclean rather. But here's the next one. According to what we have read, they denied the deity of the man Jesus Yeshua. (42:54) They were anti-trinitarian. They were subordinationist. And get this, they calculated their dates not to the Jewish calendar, but to the biblical calendar. These are our people. The striiki in Russia. That was because of Peter Waldo. This was not a peasant movement. It included some of the most powerful people in Russia. (43:33) Alexi from Nogarod, the ark priest Gabriel, and then Elena Volashanka was the mother of the crown prince. She was a member of the stringi all because of the pamphlets. I want I'm trying to SHOW YOU SOMETHING. ALL OF THAT happened because these Waldenians were they people thought they was just out there selling stuff. (44:04) But while they were selling, they were selling. Hallelujah. [clears throat] While they were hiding out as carpenters, Elder Morgan, they was dropping off the truth. While they were hiding out as common laborers, they were planning the truth in those pamphlets that they hid. And that's how Russia kept a Sabbathkeeping people was because of them. (44:40) The very mother, Elena Volashanka, the mother of the crown prince, was a seventh day Sabbathke keeper. the secretary of state were part of the little flock in Russia. The truth had penetrated to the highest level of Russian society. So what happened? The council of Moscow 1490 is what happened. The Russian Orthodox Church called a council to address the heresy. (45:12) Some were condemned, but the movement continued to spread. The little flock would not be stopped by councils. December the 17th, 1503. Now, we're moving up, children. Watch your calendar. We've started with John the Apostle. Now, we're at 1503. We've covered a lot of ground. In 1503, December the 17th, the Sabbathke keepers were summoned. (45:51) They openly acknowledged before the council their new faith and they defended the Sabbath day. They defended their anti-trinitarian stand. And the most imminent person among them, the secretary of state, Kuritzine was his name. Kur I t Z Y N and Ivan Maximov who was the arc mandrite of the monastery of Navgar were all condemned to death. (46:33) They put them in cages. Those three leaders, they put them in cages, three cages, and put the cages on fire in Moscow. December the 17th, 1503, and they burned them. Can you hear the words of Messiah now? How we started this lesson. Fear not, little flock. It's to you that the father is going to give the government. (47:06) You trusted, obedient little flock. Fear not. Yes, they're going to burn you. Yes, those things are going to happen. There will be no rapture for you. Now, this was 14 years in December 17, 1503. 14 years before Martin Luther would walk to the Catholic Church and nail his thesis on the door. What was the origin of these Russian Sabbathke keepers? Peter Waldo, the Waldenians. (47:55) Same beliefs, same accusations, same chain of ordination, the same little flock. After the brutal persecution of our brethren, 1503, Sabbath influence remained in Russia. So there was something called the Stoglav chapter or council. For those of you that want to study all this, I know Elder Karen King will be all over. (48:29) The Stolov S T O G L Av Council was called by Ivan IV known as Ivan the Terrible in 1551. And here's what he said. The people besides worshiping on Sunday could also worship on Saturday within the confines of the Russian Orthodox Church. A statement which was recognized by the church council as authorized by the apostles Peter and Paul. (49:08) And this regulation has never been analled by the Roman Catholic Church. Even the persecutors of our people had to acknowledge the truth of the Sabbath. But here's how they came to them. And this is where we start losing track of our people. Because Ivan the Terrible said to the Sabbathke keepers, "Come back to the Russian Orthodox Church and we will allow you to keep your Sabbath on Saturday and then you keep ours with us on Sunday. (49:56) " That's in your record book. You can go look it up. That's right. the Stollov Council, they found a compromise. Come back to the church and we will let you keep the Sabbath in the church as long as you'll stay with us. Not long after that, we enter a period called the Reformation when Martin Luther posted his 95 thesis in 1517. (50:30) Now, finally, we're coming into something you can see in history with your eyes. Everything we've covered the last 3, four weeks was beyond your purview. But now we're going to come into our time and follow this remnant now that's coming to us from Peter Waldo, the Bohemian Brethren and the Stole Nikki and bring it all up to Martin Luther. (51:08) When the Reformation had lifted the veil of darkness that covered the nations of Europe, Sabbathkeepers were found at the time of Martin Luther in Transylvania, Bohemia, Russia, Germany, Holland. Remember that word Holland, keep that in your mind. France and England. It was not the reformation that gave existence to the Sabbathke keepers. (51:39) For the leaders of the reformation were not friendly to Sabbathke keepers. See, I want to teach you something tonight. Don't be fooled. Beloved brothers and sisters, the Protestant movement is not the LITTLE FLOCK. MANY PEOPLE think that Luther was part of the LITTLE FLOCK. HE WAS NOT. The little flock existed before Luther and during Luther. (52:15) And Luther hated the little flock. Martin Luther, I'm not talking about Martin Luther King. Okay? Martin Luther hated the little flock. You know, all Christians hero is Martin Luther. The man was horrible. Martin Luther was horrible. He was an anti-semite. And yet the press the the Protestant church, he's their apostle, if you will. (52:51) Listen to me and listen well. Nobody watching me tonight is Protestant. You were in existence before a Protestant was ever born. Amen. >> BECAUSE PROTESTANTS AND CATHOLICS ARE NO DIFFERENT, CHILDREN. They are the same. PROTESTANTS AND CATHOLICS all are the same because they all keep the same Sabbath, worship the same trinity, and honor the same three gods. (53:26) THEIR BAPTISM IS THE SAME. EVERYTHING'S THE SAME EXCEPT their government. There's no difference in a Catholic and a Protestant. None. Except the Catholics honor the Pope as their authority and the Protestants honor no one. That's the only difference. The little flock had been there all along. (53:53) I want you to I'm trying to move you away from a Protestant identity. You're not a Protestant. You're an original. You're an apostolic. You're an Israelite. You're a Nazarene. You're an audience. You're a Waldensian. You you you I can't even remember all the names. You're you're I'm one of them. That's what I'm just There was a line there before a Protestant and even before a Catholic church. (54:23) There was a little flock, children. In 1523, Luther made a statement to Andreas Carlstat, the dean of the university where Luther had studied. He didn't know the consequences that this statement would have, but I'm going to quote it. Luther told Andreas Carlstat, "If you are determined to keep the Ten Commandments, then you must also keep Sabbath on Saturday. (55:08) " Now Luther meant this as a rebuke because he was rejecting the binding authority of the decalogue, the ten commandments for Christians. And he thought that that argument would silence Carl Stad the dean of the university where he studied. But the followers in Moravia took him literally. And when he said that, you know what they said? You're right. You're absolutely right. (55:42) If we're going to keep the Ten Commandments, we have to keep the Sabbath. And they started keeping Sabbath. The Sabbath commandment says the seventh day. And they began keeping it. Luther had accidentally ignited a Sabotarian revival. I want to give you a personal testimony. I don't know if Sister Justina was there. Sister Justina, did you attend the Bible College Biblical Foundation Institute when I was teaching them? >> No, sir. (56:20) >> Okay. Okay. >> That was right before I came. >> Right before you came. All right. I want to give y'all a personal test. Was anybody in those elder? >> Elder Hambridge, were you there? I don't think he was. Okay. Okay. >> No, I wasn't. I know brother Patrick was. >> Brother Patrick was. I agree. He was there. (56:42) So, I want to tell y'all how I introduced the Sabbath day in Wavelin, Mississippi. I never taught on it. I never preached on the Sabbath day. For the first year that I was married to my wife, the Sabbath day never came out of my mouth. I I was there under Bishop Kendrick and I never said a word about the Sabbath day. Never. And I waited for the Lord to give me an idea, a way in because I was not going to rebuke authority and rise above authority. (57:19) Even though I felt like I was right and he was wrong, I I I I had sense enough to know keep your foot, keep your place. Even if I thought the pastor was wrong, I knew to respect authority. I knew that. And therefore, I didn't go in saying, "You're using the wrong name or you're doing it on the wrong day." That was his church. That was his realm. (57:44) And I respected that. I could teach y'all how to be good members of a ministry. I respected authority. So even though I knew the Sabbath day was correct and I kept it personally, I never preached it in the pullpit and I preached all the time. Now some people would say, "Well, bless God. I would have and you would have been a fool and got kicked out and you wouldn't have a movement today. (58:12) " Anybody listening? Learn to keep your place in the house of God. The Bible said keep your place. So one night in Bible college, the Lord spoke to me and said, "Start a Bible college." I think we had it on Monday nights at the church in the fellowship hall. That place was packed out. People came from everywhere to get their degrees and Bible study. (58:36) And I had a series of 12 lessons. And I think about the seventh or eighth lesson was on the Ten Commandments. And so I'm up teaching on the Ten Commandments. I'm not teaching on the Sabbath day. I'm teaching on the Ten Commandments. And we're going through them with all these wonderful Christian people. Brother, Sister Kendrick was there. (59:03) My wife was there. We was all there. And I'm just teaching on the Ten Commandments. I'm not trying to start nothing at all. And when we get through with the lesson, of course, we mentioned the Sabbath day, right? Well, we got through with the lesson and there was a black lady there. I can't remember her name. (59:26) My wife probably will, but anyway, sister um was it Nicole? Maybe. Anyway, uh no, no, no. I'm sorry. It was not a black lady. It was It was Sister Lydia. Not Lydia. No. Karen. What was that lady's name? That'll drive me crazy now. Anyway, [clears throat] uh Jessica's mama. Libby. Libby. Libby. Libby. Thank you. Sister Libby raised her hand and she didn't mean anything by it. (59:58) She said these words. So why are we not keeping the Sabbath day? And I heard Holy Ghost bells go off and everybody in the class said, "Yeah, why are we not keeping the Sabbath day all over the room? Why are we not doing it?" And I said, "Yeah, why are we not doing that?" started the Sabbath movement in our church because I allowed the word to convict the people. (1:00:29) And Martin Luther did the same thing. He said, "If we're going to keep the Ten Commandments, then we have to keep the Sabbath." And he started a movement because when people hear the truth, see, and at that moment, Sister Libby released my hands because now even brother Kendrick got in on it and and and then suddenly, see, that's where it all started right there because I kept my foot and respected authority and I let the Holy Ghost do the work. (1:00:58) Even if you think your pastor's wrong, leave it to the Holy Ghost and keep your place. Amen. >> That is exactly how that revival started in Moravia. Now, I want to talk to you about Lord Leonhard of Lykenstein. He ruled an area around Nichollsburg in Moravia. Now Martin Luther started a Sabbath revival in Moravia with that one question. (1:01:35) And he was the ruler. Lord Leenhard of Lyenstein was the ruler. And unlike most rulers of his day, he protected religious refugees. He supported the Lutheran and the Anabaptist and he protected the Sabbathkeepers. I'd like to read you a quote from a book by JN Andrews called History of the Sabbath. (1:02:03) I recommend it for your library. History of the Sabbath by JN Andrews. He said about the year 1520, many of these Sabbathke keepers found shelter on the estate of Lord Leonhard of Lykenstein who held to the observance of the true Sabbath. Do you hear that? The Lord, the ruler of that region was a Sabbathkeeper. (1:02:36) He was a prince and he protected Sabbathkeepers. The little flock had found a protector. Yahweh raised up protectors for them even among the nobility to shelter his remnant. Now let's move forward to about 1550. Another movement begins to rise after Martin Luther. Remember, Luther starts the Lutheran church. Outside of the Lutheran church is a remnant and they're about to rise up in history. (1:03:22) They are called the Anabaptist. The Anabaptist movement began around 1520 among those that believed Luther and Zwingley had not gone far enough into reforming Christianity. See, Lutheran was a reformer. But what what he what people did not understand, it's here a little and there a little. (1:03:55) And there was a group of people in the Lutheran church that wanted more reformation. The word Anabaptist simply means rebaptizer. The key Anabaptist principles were separation of church and state, simple living, pacifism, and a rejection of oaths. However, they kept Sunday as the Sabbath. Now they off they adopted something that we all known as solar scriptorra. (1:04:39) The Anabaptist did which means scripture alone. So if scripture alone was their authority and scripture commands seventh day Sabbath then the seventh day must be kept. So out of the Anabaptist became a group known as the sabotarian Anabaptist. And right there is where that group of Waldensians that we were lost to history. (1:05:13) That's where we find them again among the Anabaptist. Let me talk to you about their apostle. His name was Oswald Glate. G L AI DT T. He was the first Sabotarian Anabaptist apostle. Now, why apostle? He's about to dig out a work that would outlive him. He was born in Germany. He was a Catholic priest. (1:05:54) He became a Lutheran and then he went to Moravia and then he becomes an Anabaptist in 1526 and then he went to Vienna and in 1528 guess what he found? I need you to hear me. He found an old pamphlet from the Waldenians there in Moravia. He found a document about the Sabbath day and in 1528 he began preaching the Sabbath among the Anabaptist people. (1:06:42) He had a debate with Casper Schwackenfeld and Valentine Crawwald on the Sabbath day in 1530. In 1530 he wrote a book called Bain Vom Sabbath which means the little book on the Sabbath. This was the first written Sabbath book among the Anabaptist people. In 1531, the Lord of Lykenstein sends Gl's book for reputation. (1:07:20) Then Glelia by Duke Albert. And where does he go? To Bohemia. And then he joins the Hutterites in Moravia. He's arrested in 1546. And because he was an apostle of the Sabbath day message, they took him in 1546 and drowned him in the Denube River for keeping the Sabbath. Once again, I hear that voice. (1:08:02) Fear not, little flock, for it's the father's good pleasure to give you the government. His book, the little book on the Sabbath from 1530 was the first printed book specifically defending the seventh day Sabbath since the invention of the printing press. You see, apostles love that printing press. Do you see? Are you following a pattern? Anybody see what I'm talking about? It's always little pamphlets. It's always little books. (1:08:35) It's all way and nothing changes in this flow. It was his book. First thing he did went to printing books on the truth. Now that book has been lost to history, but the reason we know about it is because of a man by the name of Casper Schwackenfeld who debated Gl. argued the following things that the Ten Commandments was binding for Christians. (1:09:18) that the Sabbath is not just ceremonial. It was instituted at creation. That the Sabbath commandment was the seventh day, not one day in seven. And neither Christ nor his apostles changed the day. And that the the day was changed by the pope of Rome. Now, Casper Schwekenfeld wrote a formal response. You know, let me bring it in our day. (1:09:47) You ever go to YouTube and you see on the thumbnail my response to pastor so and so this is the same thing. Okay, this is Casper responding to Glake and then Lord Lyenstein read that book and took it serious and became a Sabbathke keeper. Now, let me teach you about the next person that wore the petal. (1:10:20) I'm almost out of time. Andreas Fiser. He was the Sabbath apostle to Slovakia. He was a Catholic priest, became an Anabaptist, went to Moravia and found a book from the Waldenians. And then he found Glates book. Yeah. The man that was just drowned in the Denube River. He found Glates's book as well. And so Glates's ministry lived on. (1:10:56) And then Andreas Fiser began preaching the Sabbath in Slovakia. And then he went to prison, went to trial, and was hanged on the gallows in 1529. And they drowned his wife because they kept the Sabbath. But Fisher fell from the gallows and survived. That's right. He literally survived and he left there and went and strengthened the congregation in Lexia and baptized 80 adults in one day and turned them into Sabbathkeepers. (1:11:43) In 1529, he remarried and a hundred soldiers were sent to arrest him. and he escaped. He returned to Slovakia and ministered there and remarried and preached in 1539 among the Anabaptist congregations. He was captured by soldiers and thrown from the wall of Castle Orca in 1540 and martyed for keeping the Sabbath day. (1:12:23) This is what the little flock looks like. And I can hear that word in my mind right now going to Andreas Fisher. Fear not, little flock. Fear not. It's the father's good pleasure to give people like you the government. Luther wrote a book in 1538 entitled Against the Sabotarians where he fought against the Sabbath. (1:12:59) And then the chain continues and we can follow it all the way through the mountains of central Europe where the Waldensians were for 300 years. It became the center of sabotarianism among the Anabaptist. Now after Glate and Fiser, the Sabbath movement continued and grew and in 1588 another apostle arises in Transennsylvania. (1:13:36) His name Andros Aosi A D R A S E O SI. and he had a c-orker by the name of Simon Py. They were anti- trinitarian. They taught that Yeshua was a man. They kept the Sabbath and all the feast days. And they grew to 20,000 members in Transennsylvania. And I've come to tell you, I've studied their teaching. and everything they teach we believe 100% at FHMI and they existed 450 years ago and our teachings line up with theirs. (1:14:23) Now we've gone beyond their teaching but what they taught we agree with. In the nation of England, Sabbathke keepers emerged during the reign of Elizabeth I. Hamlet Jackson was a tor that converted John Tras. John Tras and his wife Dorothy died in prison after spending 25 years in prison because they would not denounce the Sabbath day. (1:15:01) Then they offered them an opportunity to come back to the church and keep the Sabbath on Saturday and Sunday. John and Dorothy were killed after 25 years at the Millyard Church. You can go there today. Founded in 1617. It's called the Millyard Church. Right after Dorothy and John Tras were killed for Sabbathkeeping, a man rose up by the name of Stephen Mumford. (1:15:42) And where do we find Steven Mumford in 1664 in a colony called Rhode Island? Thank you for joining me tonight. Yahweh bless you. will continue to follow this family line next week.

Summary

This teaching uses Luke 12:32 to establish the doctrine of the “little flock,” a small remnant chosen by Yahweh to receive the Kingdom and be trained for future rulership. The message argues that this flock has always been persecuted, hidden, and preserved through history. It traces the remnant through Peter Waldo, the Waldensians, Bohemian Brethren, Russian Sabbathkeepers, Sabbathkeeping Anabaptists, and later Sabbath movements, showing continuity of Sabbath truth and rejection of Rome’s authority.
