Shane Vaughn Teaches - There is no End Time Revival - YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sa9DwLyfUmc Transcript: (00:02) from coast to coast and Shore to Shore good evening everyone this is Friday evening the Sabbath day has begun it's about 6:40 on the east coast and I greet every one of you in the lovely name that is above every other name and I pray that you are all doing well I want to deal tonight with a question that many people people have had over the years now if you grew up in the church that I grew up in or any type of Christian Church you've probably been taught that there's going to be an Endtime Revival before I get into the scriptures (00:46) tonight I want to tell you and you can mark this down you can write it down you can scribble it down you can do whatever you want to do but know this and what I'm about to tell you nobody wants to hear it as a matter of fact I'm hated by many because of my belief concerning an Endtime Revival so let me just say it before I prove it I'm going to tell you right up front there will never be Mark those words down there will never be an end time Revival all of my life I was taught that there's going to be a great outpouring (01:28) of the Holy Ghost in the last days and that men and women are going to be filled with the Holy Ghost and the churches are going to be full and people are going to come from everywhere so forth and so on and I believed that all of my life until I made the mistake of taking Jesus yua at his own words and believing my Bible instead of the lies I inherited from my fathers number one yua makes us several promises here is what he says about the end time he tells us when I return there will hardly be any faith left on the earth now how are we going (02:21) to have an end time Revival when Jesus says that there will be no faith left on the earth now that verse you can find that verse and um the New Testament I'm going to look it up for you that way you can read it for yourself because it's important that we get this and we understand this um but anyway Luke 18 and verse 8 I tell you that when the son of man cometh shall he find faith on the earth this is posed as a question because there will be no no true Faith left on the earth when Jesus returns so little that it will not even (03:07) be a blip on the radar now how do we get that there's going to be an end time Revival I challenge anyone listening to show me one scripture in the word of God where there's going to be an Endtime Revival now I will show you in a minute where indeed there's about to be now when I say there's no end time Revival it depends on what the word Revival means now if the word Revival means church is full people getting saved on every corner people jumping in the baptismal pool to be baptized if that's what you mean by end time Revival you're (03:52) wrong there will never be an Endtime Revival now if by Revival you mean ah a revelation of the word of God an understanding of God then there will be an end time Revival because the Bible tells us that in the last day knowledge would be increased knowledge of his word he promises to restore all things to his church the revelation of Truth brothers and sisters the only end time Revival there's going to be is the restoration of Truth and that Revival is is the Revival that the church will reject now listen to this Jesus said yua said he (04:38) said that narrow is the way and few there will be that find it I got a question for everybody that's looking for an end time Revival why do you oppose the very words of Jesus when he said few there will be that will find this way why are you upset when his prophecy comes to pass and there's literally very few that find this way have you ever thought about it we get upset when there's only a few and yet that's exactly what Jesus said there would be a few the problem is you want a crowd you want numbers because of your (05:20) pride it makes you feel successful but the According To Jesus after he had the most dynamic Ministry on Earth for 70 weeks weeks he ministered from his baptism to his death which is about a year and four or five months he in his entire Ministry after walking on the water after casting out Devils after all of those things he had about 120 converts few there be that will find the way of Truth Now Millions will find a false religion but the way of Truth few there will be that find it as a matter of fact Paul said in the last days men (06:04) would not endure sound Doctrine now that's an interesting verse of scripture because the word endure means that at one time they had sound Doctrine but they would not stay with that they would go the Bible says having itching ears and they would find teachers that put on self-help classes motivational classes everything that caused man to feel better about himself this is the only way that you're going to have an exploding church today is if you are catering to the needs of the people brothers and sisters I say this to you (06:46) and I say it with all the love that I can muster this relationship between you and God is not about you it's all about God it's all about Yahweh and his son yua this relationship between you and God is not to find out what God can do for you it is about you finding out what you can do for God and you know tonight is God's holy Sabbath day did you realize that it began when the sun went down and do you know that all these people that want Revival want nothing to do with his Sabbath they don't want to hear how that pleases him because we (07:25) have itching ears brothers and sisters listen to me carefully if you are learning more and more and more about the nature of God the the name the presence the Commandments the love of God if you're learning more and more and more and more about that you are part of a unique Revival called the bride's Revival it is not a Revival of quantity it is a Revival of quality it is where God is bringing his church into perfecting Glory we are moving into the Perfection of the church where we have come into full understanding and full (08:10) knowledge we're growing faster do you know that more knowledge and information is being downloaded into the collective mind of the church now than at any other time in history there is an acceleration of the Perfection Glory that is happening right now and the fact is the majority of the church wants nothing to do with that perfecting Glory That Glory that brings us into maturity and understanding rather they have mistaken the word Revival with the word numbers with the word crowds man or woman of God if you're listening to me right now and (08:50) there's only a few in your ministry a few in your church then you have fulfilled the very prophecy of Yeshua when he said few there will be that find it get out of your pride oh now there is coming a worldwide Revival now I I trust me I believe in a worldwide Revival but the problem is the problem is because we don't understand the millennial Reign because we don't understand the coming kingdom of God we have placed that end time Revival in the wrong day as a matter of fact the Bible tells us in Zephaniah 3 and: 9 that there's coming a (09:38) day when I will purify the lips of all the people all of them will call on my name and serve him shoulder toos shoulder all of my people will bring me offerings that is a prophecy of a worldwide Revival here's another prophecy in Isaiah 19 and 18 through 25 in that day five cities in Egypt will speak the language of Canaan which is Hebrew and will swear allegiance to Yahweh Elohim and he goes on and he talks about uh in verse 23 and 25 in that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria the Assyrians will go (10:26) to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria the Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together in that day Israel will be third along with Egypt and Assyria a blessing on the earth the Lord God Almighty will bless them and then he goes on to talk about how that in that day I will pour out my spirit on All Flesh your sons and your daughters shall prophesy we can read on and on and there's coming a day according to Isaiah when the whole earth will be filled with the knowledge of God the glory of God but the problem is because the church no (11:03) longer believes in a coming Millennium because they no longer preach about a coming Millennium they think that these promises as is for our day I submit to you that we are living in the sixth day the closing moments of the sixth day the only prophecy for the end of our day is a great Falling Away the only prophecy I know nobody wants to hear it I get that I understand that unfortunately that is my burden to bear the burden of the Lord to preach you truth instead of these lies that you love According To Jesus if (11:44) what he said matters in this last day men would be lovers of self more than lovers of God and you said well brother V what about the Joel prophecy where I'll pour out my spirit on All Flesh your sons and your daughters shall prophesy absolutely but go read the chapter before Joel chapter 2 and you will find your context in the day of the Lord but the reason we know nothing about the day of the Lord is because we don't understand that the day of the Lord is the Sabbath day he is the lord of the what the Sabbath day he is (12:31) not Lord over these other six days who is Lord over these other six days Satan himself he is the God of this age what age the six days of man but yua is Lord of the Sabbath when he will return to set up his kingdom and on the earth and at that time he will bring forth the greatest Revival this world has ever known I declare and decree to you that when the king returns that they will be a Revival such as the Earth has never seen every person will be filled with the Holy Spirit every person will be a Sabbath keeper I can (13:17) prove that to you in the book of Isaiah every person will keep the Passover and the holy days I can prove that to you in the book of hezek Zechariah Isaiah and Hosea on and on and on every person will be filled with the ruach cadesh the Holy Spirit every person will say to their neighbor do you know the Lord and their neighbor will say yes I do because the great Revival that is coming is coming when the king returns he's coming and the Bible says that every sick body will be made whole every sinner will be saved (13:57) all of Israel will be saved but the problem the reason you preachers are discouraged the reason that you look at the church and you have to keep coming up with a new program you have the only way you can get folks to church is to bust them in bring you call it Outreach no it's Pride reach you need numbers in your church the Bible said you in you compass that land and sea and by the time you get them there you convert them more into a religious fanatic than you are a child of hell and I could go on and on and on listen if the Holy Ghost don't (14:33) draw a man all of your efforts is doing is putting butts on a Pew but at the end of the day True Believers are few and far between True Believers will be so rare in this last day that we will not be able to Bear sound d Doctrine brothers and sisters if you still have faith if you still believe in faith you are one of the rarest people on the Earth today Listen People I understand are still going to church but if you're not going to the word if you're not being matured you are not in that perfecting Glory God (15:24) bless you and shabbat shalom

Summary

1. Introduction and rejection of an end-time mass revival — 00:02–02:21 Vaughn opens with a Friday evening Sabbath greeting. He introduces the widespread Christian expectation of a great end-time revival. He states that he no longer believes a massive revival will occur before Messiah returns. He explains that this change arose from his interpretation of Yeshua's own words. 2. Faith at Messiah's return — 02:21–03:52 Vaughn explicitly cites Luke 18:8. He interprets the question concerning faith at the Son of man's return as a warning that true faith will be extremely rare. He challenges listeners to identify a biblical promise of a mass revival before the second coming. He begins distinguishing numerical revival from spiritual restoration. 3. The restoration of truth — 03:52–05:20 Vaughn teaches that an increase in biblical knowledge will occur during the last days. He identifies this increase with the restoration of divine truth. He cites Yeshua's statement that few will find the narrow way. He argues that the small number of faithful believers should not discourage ministers. 4. Sound doctrine versus popular religion — 05:20–06:46 Vaughn refers to the approximately 120 disciples associated with the early church. He cites Paul's warning that people will no longer endure sound doctrine. He criticizes religious messages designed primarily to satisfy personal desires. He contrasts popular preaching with teaching that demands obedience. 5. The bride's revival — 06:46–08:50 Vaughn emphasizes that the relationship between believers and Yahweh must be centered on Yahweh's will. He identifies Sabbath observance as an example of neglected obedience. He describes a present restoration of knowledge concerning Yahweh's name, nature, presence, commandments, and love. He calls this movement the bride's revival and the perfecting glory. 6. The coming worldwide revival — 08:50–10:26 Vaughn affirms that a worldwide revival will eventually occur. He teaches that Christians have misunderstood its timing. He cites Zephaniah 3:9–10 concerning the purification of the nations and their united worship. He cites Isaiah 19:18–25 concerning Egypt, Assyria, and Israel. 7. The sixth day and the great falling away — 10:26–11:44 Vaughn connects the future worldwide knowledge of Yahweh with the coming millennium. He teaches that humanity is living near the conclusion of the sixth prophetic day. He identifies the present period with a great falling away rather than a mass revival. He refers to the increase of selfishness in the last days. 8. The day of the Lord and the outpouring of the Spirit — 11:44–13:17 Vaughn discusses Joel's prophecy concerning the Spirit being poured upon all flesh. He interprets the day of the Lord as the future Sabbath millennium. He teaches that Satan exercises authority over the present age. He identifies Yeshua's return as the beginning of the greatest revival in history. 9. The worldwide transformation of the nations — 13:17–13:57 Vaughn predicts universal Sabbath observance and recognition of Yahweh's appointed holy days. He describes a future world filled with the Holy Spirit. He expects widespread healing and the salvation of Israel. He places these developments within Messiah's future kingdom. 10. Final warning against numerical pride — 13:57–15:24 Vaughn criticizes ministers who rely on programs and attendance campaigns to increase church numbers. He refers to Yeshua's warning against making converts who become spiritually worse than their teachers. He teaches that genuine conversion requires the work of the Holy Spirit. He concludes by encouraging believers to pursue scriptural maturity rather than religious popularity.

Core doctrine

Dr. Shane Vaughn teaches that there will not be a great numerical revival of Christianity immediately before the return of Yeshua. He rejects the expectation that the closing period of the present age will produce overflowing churches, widespread conversions, and an unprecedented increase in traditional Christian participation. He bases this position primarily on Luke 18:8, where Yeshua questions whether the Son of man will find faith on the earth when he comes. Vaughn interprets this question as a warning that genuine faith will be extremely rare at Messiah's return. He connects it with Yeshua's teaching that the way leading to life is narrow and that few will find it. He therefore argues that a small number of faithful believers is consistent with biblical prophecy rather than evidence that a ministry has failed. He distinguishes between two meanings of revival. If revival means large crowds, full churches, and mass conversions, he teaches that no such end-time revival is promised before Messiah returns. If revival means an increase in biblical knowledge and the restoration of divine truth, however, he teaches that a genuine revival is already occurring among a relatively small group of believers. Vaughn calls this present movement the bride's revival. He describes it as a revival of quality rather than quantity, in which Yahweh is bringing his people toward maturity, perfection, and a deeper understanding of his nature, name, presence, commandments, and love. He refers to this process as the perfecting glory of the church. He teaches that the restoration of truth is being rejected by much of the institutional church because it challenges inherited religious traditions and requires obedience. In his view, the pursuit of numerical growth has caused many congregations to substitute motivational preaching, self-help teaching, and emotional encouragement for sound doctrine. Vaughn warns ministers against measuring success by attendance figures. He argues that the desire for large crowds can arise from personal pride rather than faithfulness to Yahweh. He cites the comparatively small number of disciples gathered after Yeshua's earthly ministry to illustrate that genuine spiritual success should not be measured by popularity. He emphasizes that the believer's relationship with Yahweh should not be centered on personal benefits. Instead, he teaches that believers should seek to understand and obey what pleases Yahweh. He specifically identifies Sabbath observance as an example of divine instruction that many Christians reject because it conflicts with their preferences and inherited beliefs. Vaughn connects the decline of sound doctrine with Paul's warning that people will seek teachers who satisfy their desires. He interprets the phrase concerning itching ears as a description of believers abandoning difficult truths in favor of messages that make them feel better about themselves. He nevertheless affirms that a great worldwide revival is coming. His disagreement concerns its timing. Vaughn teaches that the prophecies of universal worship, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and the knowledge of Yahweh filling the earth belong primarily to the coming millennial kingdom rather than the closing years of the present age. He interprets Zephaniah 3:9–10 as a prophecy that the nations will eventually call upon Yahweh's name and worship him together. He also interprets Isaiah 19:18–25 as describing a future transformation in which Egypt, Assyria, and Israel will worship Yahweh in unity. Vaughn connects these prophecies with Joel 2:28–29 and the promise that the Spirit will be poured upon all flesh. He argues that the church has misplaced this fulfillment because it no longer understands the future millennial reign of Messiah. He teaches that humanity is living in the closing portion of the sixth prophetic day. He identifies the present period with the six days of human government and associates Satan's designation as the god of this age with that period. He teaches that the seventh prophetic day will begin with Yeshua's return and the establishment of his kingdom. Vaughn identifies this future seventh day with the Sabbath and the day of the Lord. He teaches that Yeshua, as Lord of the Sabbath, will establish a worldwide government in which the nations will worship Yahweh, receive the Holy Spirit, and obey his commandments. He predicts that the future kingdom will bring universal Sabbath observance, recognition of Yahweh's holy days, widespread healing, and the salvation of Israel. He describes this period as the greatest revival the world has ever experienced. He contrasts that future with the closing period of the present age, which he characterizes as a time of apostasy, selfishness, and rejection of sound doctrine. He teaches that the true church must concentrate on maturity and faithfulness rather than numerical expansion. Vaughn concludes by encouraging believers who belong to small congregations or ministries. He argues that remaining faithful to scripture, embracing restored truth, and growing in spiritual maturity are more important than attracting crowds. His central distinction is that the present age will end with a small but maturing company of faithful believers, while the future kingdom of Messiah will bring the worldwide spiritual transformation that many Christians mistakenly expect before his return.
